I’m not dead.

I’ve just…been dealing with a lot of personal and depressing shit lately.

I don’t know when I’ll be able to regularly post Luigi/Bowuigi content again.

But I do hope to reach that point of being able to write and share ideas again some day.

Because those things had been a lot of fun to do.

But for now, I think it's best for me to take a break.

I don’t know how long it’ll be nor do I know what the hell the future has in store for me.

But here’s hoping 2023 ends on a good note.

I really need to watch MegaMind one day because from the clips and videos I've seen, all the stuff MegaMind and Roxanne Ritchi go through in that movie feels like something Bowser and Luigi would 1000% totally do.

#I also feel like Bowser and MegaMind would have very similar personalities #i.e. they're villains but no one ever takes them seriously #that is until Mario/Metroman “dies”#then Bowser/MegaMind tries to find a hero to replace Mario/Metroman #but then things take a bad turn when King Boo/Titan becomes the ultimate dangerous villian #and once Bowser/MegaMind realizes that King Boo/Titan kidnapped Luig/Roxanne then Bowser/MegaMind becomes the new MK hero #and yes Luigi would be Roxanne Ritchi in this idea while Mario is MetroMan #I don't know if people actually ship MetroMan x Roxanne Ritchi but I swear if you tag this post as Mario x Luigi I will break your kneecaps #if you ship Mario x Luigi then that's none of my business but all I ask is that you respect my request of not tagging this as Mario x Luigi #luigi #luigi nintendo #bowser #bowser nintendo #bowuigi #bowser x luigi #super mario #super mario bros #megamind

Sorry, this is long, but I do hope it gets better for you and your mental health. I know how horrible depression is sometimes (I have it myself) and how hopeless it seems sometimes, and this is hard to believe sometimes, I know, but it does get better, bit by bit.

Some advice maybe: Every day I like to wake up and think of something that I love and is a good reminder/reason to keep going. Then whenever I have negative thoughts, or something happens that makes me feel worse I try thinking of it. Sometimes it helps, other times it doesn't but that could maybe help you too?

I understand depression and mental health issues don't just disappear with a few kind words and some advice but here's some things to maybe ease the burden of it, a little bit. Just know you're not alone. And its super cool you wake up every day to face the fight! You're so strong! Being a human and waking up every day really sucks sometimes. It takes a lot of courage to wake up and it's very courageous of you to do it every day! You got this dude!

Anyways sorry if this is weird coming from a stranger, you don't have to answer this or anything, I just wanted to send some good vibes your way. I hope your day is good and you know how much you're worth (hint: it's a lot!!) and how important you are.

P.s. Your blog title is very funny, and it makes me laugh every time I read it :)

The story you are about to read on Ao3 has been something I've been wanting to write for at least a few months now. 2 Reasons why I love Bowuigi:

1. The fact that Luigi and Bowser are just complete opposites in almost every single way is just fascinating to me. Think about it: On the one hand, you have Luigi, a kind-hearted, gentle, and shy little human who won't hesitate to put others' needs above his own. But on the other hand though, you have Bowser: a short-tempered, intimidating, and arrogant king who takes all the credit for when things go right and blames others for when things go wrong (and those are his good traits). And yet, despite it all, the fact that Luigi can have the ability to bring out Bowser's good traits while Bowser can help Luigi become more confident and outgoing in return is just absolutely heart-warming. ❤️❤️❤️

2. It's fucking funny as hell to see all the possible lengths Mario and Bowser will go through just for the sole purpose of pissing the other one off.

So you know how in the Frog Prince story, the prince got turned into a frog and the only way to break the spell is for the princess to give him an kiss of true love on the lip. So imagine that tiny Bowser, locked up in the cage, threw a tantrum and hurt his nose against the bar so Luigi decided to kiss his boo-boo on the tip of his nose just like how his mom kissed his boo-boo and…

BAM!

Bowser returned back to his normal size.

So I think part of the reason why it took me a while to answer this ask (besides irl personal stuff) is because while I do really like this idea, the main concern I have with this particular idea is that it conflicts with the movie’s idea that people can to return back to their normal size if they get hurt (whether someone else hurts them or they intentionally hurt themselves).

Now obviously, this is purely based on the assumption that this idea would take place in the same timeline as the movie (most likely after the events of the movie based on the context clue that a tiny Bowser is locked in a cage). You certainly don’t have to include the events of the movie in your idea/au and you can always make a completely new timeline where the events of the movie either just flat out don't exist (like the Yoshi's Island series for example) or change 1-2 details of the movie (i.e., Peach telling Mario that he returns back to normal size if he gets hurt) enough to where you can then include your ideas with the movie timeline.

But regardless of how you would incorporate this idea into the Super Mario universe, I do want to reiterate that I do really like the idea of a retelling of the Princess and the Frog featuring the one and only Bowuigi. I can definitely see this either go into a wholesome route where Bowser develops feelings for Luigi while he's a prisoner and officially becomes a good guy after he returns to normal size or more towards the angst(ish) route where Bowser immediately escapes and forcefully takes Luigi with him back to the Dark Lands after he returns to normal size (or you could even do a little bit of both).

But either way, Luigi kissing tiny Bowser's nose is 100% absolutely adorable and I thank you for the cute imagery anon. :)
