Alright, I know some people think that Harry will be down bad/have a crush on Tom first or some thinks it'll be Tom; but I feel like it's neither? Hell, canonically, Harry is really emotionally stunted in that regard, and I just don't see him grovelling or reacting that way to anyone or not specifically to Tom? Especially not a Slytherin who is always busy with political climbing or things-that-don't-interest-Harry. I feel like they'll be so busy with their lives, that until and unless someone smack dabs them together (with their luck, let's be real something WILL smack dab them together) I do believe they'll be passing thoughts in each other's life.
Harry might end up thinking in the passing that Tom's really good looking because hell, I've done that; even when I'm not attracted to someone, I will always appreciate a face that I find pleasing. I don't think Harry will be that interested in Tom until and unless he does something that attracts him (ex: quidditch LMAO). Summary: Y/N had tried everything in her power to protect her adopted son and his friends, so when she got pushed into the Human Realm with the Hexsquad, she confides to Camilla about how Hunter must think she's a bad parent.
Character: Luz, Amity, Hunter, Vee, Gus, Camilla.
Camilla stared at the ex coven scout, her eyes glistening with tears that have yet to fall from her E/C optics, as she looks at the women who knew more about being a mother than she ever did. Camilla couldn't comprehend why this all powerful witch came to her, a human, to confide in.
"Hunter must really think I'm a poor excuse of a mother." Y/N said, the tears wanting to fall from her face. Camilla panicked, not wanting her to cry.
"No, no. Hunter doesn't think that sweetheart," Camilla spoke in a motherly tone, the thirty-Five-year old looked at her in disbelief, before scoffing.
"How could he not, I mean, look at me. I'm a mess." She put her head in her hands and sighed, "I used to be powerful, he looked up to me, I could tell. He wanted to follow in my footsteps, but he doesn't have any magic. The only thing he has is Flapjack," Y/N said. Camilla frowned at the new mother, she put her hands on the others knees causing the witch to look at her.
"Hey now, don't say that. Hunter is glad to have you," Y/N felt her ears and cheeks heat at how gentle the older women's voice was.
"Really?" She was skeptical, cause who would be glad to have her?
"Really. Now, why don't you go and talk to him. I think he needs his mom right now," Camilla told her, a gentle smile on her face. Y/N smiled in return, before leaning forwards and kissing the women's cheek in gratitude. She pulled away, not noticing the deep blush that was on Camilla's face.
"Thanks for the advice Camilla. Luz is lucky she has you as a mother. Welp, wish me luck, Amor." Y/N said as she stood, winking at the blushing mess of the women who watched the witch walk away.
"O-oh." Camilla muttered under her breath, not believing exactly what had happened.

As Y/N made her way down the stairs of the house, going towards the living room, where the TV was lit up. On the couch sat Willow, Vee, Gus, and Hunter and on the ground in front of the couch sat Luz and Amity, all watching whatever movie they had decided to watch for their regular movie night.
Hunter was the first to notice her, his eyes lighting up as he stood up from his seat and went over to her. Grabbing one of her hands, tugging on it, "Mom, you won't believe what we're watching." Hunter said, the word mom leaving his mouth as if it was the most normal thing that could come from the young teens mouth.
"Yeah?" She asked, a smile on her face. He pulled her to the couch, having her sit next to him whilst he sat next to Willow.
"It's called the Wizard of Oz!" He spoke, before telling her what what she missed of the show. Y/N sat there, watching her kid talk about the movie. It was so good to see him so happy now that he was out of their coven. She smiled at the thought of them finally being free from that monster. Finally free.
End Note: okay, the ending was probably rushed, but I'll either fix it later or write a new one. But I've had this idea for Hunter for a while, because this boy definitely needs a really tight hug from his parental figure π I can take request if anyone wants anymore Hunter & his parental figure. So.. I have a long story about this; (please read for context!)
I used to be friends with this kid in elementary school, they were my best friend and we hung out all the time!! Something we bonded over was PokΓ©mon and as a kid. My first game was Soul Silver which yeah is pretty late into the 'series' of Pokemon but it's whatever, that was my first game, don't judge. Anyway, I was kinda (very) dumb and just eventually got rid of my PokΓ©mon stuff.
Idk why I ever did shit like that (I regret it so much) and I have really bad memory so like.. I had no idea what I did with any of my games. Well, remember that friend I mentioned? We reconnected a few months ago after almost 10 years of not talking (because we moved when I was about 11 and.. being 11 year old's we didn't have a way to keep contact lmao. I tried looking for them over Facebook for YEARS with no luck, but a few months ago I had randomly found their profile and messaged them.)
When we reconnected, we called on discord and they were talking about PokΓ©mon and they said "Oh dude, by the way I still have your soul silver game that you gave me" and I was like "... wait what?" and.. yeah!! Apparently I had given them my soul silver as a kid (I guess that was my 'getting out of PokΓ©mon phase', like I said, I was dumb..) and I was just in pure disbelief. And they said if I wanted, I could have the game back so today (yesterday since I'm posting this at like 4 am) I hung out with them and they handed it to me. My *original* copy of Soul Silver. The copy I played as an 8 year old.. (or 9 year old idk, bad memory)
I can't tell you what it means to have my original cartridge. Sadly my save file isn't there since when I gave it to them in childhood, they restarted it.. but that's okay, the fact I have THE VERY COPY I had as a kid, still means the world to me. Like.. I just.. yeah I could've re-bought the game over the years but.. having the exact one I had as a kid.. it means more than I can ever express. I'm so fuckin' excited to play this game you don't understand.
I will post updates as I play, (I plan to shiny hunt Lugia >:3 ) I'm sorry that it's not TAWoG, but my Pokemon-loving heart is so happy!! πππ
Anyways, the drawing I included because I had decided to draw myself with my 'team' so far!! (Yes I made my trainer a male, named Glitch :> hehe)
So far I have Sakura the Chikorita, Pudge the Pidgey and Moegi the Bellsprout, and of course the egg that I'm working on hatching!! (Tbh Moegi is only being used for HM's so she won't be staying for long lmao, sorry sprout!)
I'm definitely gonna draw more Pokemon stuff because I've wanted too for so long but I get shy with it for some reason? Well not anymore. I'm not making this a daily thing, that'd be too much, but I'll definitely do more drawings throughout my journey!! ^^
I hope you guys are good with seeing Pokemon, don't get me wrong I still love TAWoG and will still be posting about it, but I'm deep in a Pokemon fixation right now so.... Be prepared :P

Decklist Contraption - Holiday Special!

Season's greasons, Duelists! A very merry Zarcmas to all!!
(Oh God it's the 8th time now what the fuck-)
Today I present you a very silly, very convoluted, veeeeery sacky decklist in the spirit of the holidays. Ever wondered how it'd feel like to end the duel before it begins? Well, you're in luck, because I have one such method of highly fluctuating consistency!
Introducing.... Tricksturbance Strategy Turbo!
The premise is very simple, in spite of all the variables. You need to go first, punt Z-ARC into the Pendulum zone, and set down either (or both) of Trickstar Reincarnation and Disturbance Strategy, all before your opponent's main phase.
Every card in the deck plays a part in that (to the best of its barely coherent ability)- and that's what I'll be detailing below!
Main Deck (40 cards):
1x Odd-Eyes Arc Pendulum Dragon: Just fodder for Celestial Soul, really.
3x Supreme King Gate Magician: The main playmaker on the Z-ARC side of the combo; he can search out either of the two Souls to get you to your dragon overlord.
2-3x Supreme King Gate Zero: A pendulum scale for Gate Magician's self-summoning effect, nothing more, nothing less. Ratio interchangeable with Darkwurm. Oh, speaking of...
2-3x Supreme King Dragon Darkwurm: Self-summoning little guy that searches Gate Magician or Gate Zero, in case you didn't open with both.
2x Cup of Ace: Card advantage. RNG-dependent, but oh well.
3x Dragon Shrine: Mill Darkwurm, summon Darkwurm from grave, profit.
1x Upstart Goblin: Card advantage again.
1x Foolish Burial: Darkwurm mill. Again.
3x Pot of Prosperity: More card advantage, with the added bonus of potentially jackpotting a missing combo piece.
3x Wings of Light: Universal Supreme King searcher (have you noticed how that side keeps searching itself? Yeah it's still janky as fuck. Somehow.)
3x Trickstar Reincarnation: Key card #1! Basically resets your opponent's hand (and can revive a Trickstar, but that's irrelevant here.)
3x Oops!: Self-destruction button. Pops 1 of your own monsters, which is A Lot more useful than it looks on the surface.
3x Trap Tracks: Great role consolidator, and arguably the lynchpin of this deck. Pops 1 monster, sets 1 trap from the deck- precisely what you need to pull off the combo. It does have antisynergy with Trap Trick, though, so do watch out for that.
1x Soul of The Supreme Celestial King: First (and better, and costlier) choice of your two gateways to Z-ARC. If the opponent somehow interrupts your silly goofy combo, you can spring this on them midway through their own combo, and..... uhhh.... pray for a win by beatdown. Lmao.
3x Disturbance Strategy: Key card #2!! Alternate option to Reincarnation, resets your opponent's hand via shuffling instead of banishing their starter opening.
2x Trap Trick: Worse Trap Tracks, but useful in a jiffy. Gets you to Oops, Reincarnation, Disturbance, or one of the two Souls. Whichever it is you're missing. Again, do beware this can't tutor Trap Tracks (or you won't be able to resolve more Traps for the turn).
3x Soul of The Supreme King: One good ol' Z-ARC at the small cost of, uh, half your LP. This isn't half as bad as it looks, trust me- it's actually more reliable than its Celestial counterpart, since it doesn't need Gate Magician to stay on field.
Extra Deck (15 cards):
Up to 9x Dimension Dragons (or variants), as fodder for Gate Magician and Celestial Soul.
3x Flex spots where you put whatever, because empty ED spots lowkey look bad.
3x Supreme King Z-ARC: Key card #3!!! The star of this hotpot of cards, widely known for board wipes... and significantly less so for his Pendulum effects. This is why you need a self-destruct button, by the way.....
...Figured out the combo yet?
Steps:
1) Go first. If you go second, then what are you even doing? Magic your way into it, idk (I did say this was of highly fluctuating consistency).
2) Cycle through the bajillion searches and draws in your deck to end on 1 each of Z-ARC (or a way to summon him at the start of turn 2), a way to destroy him (Oops or Trap Tracks), a hand reset (Reincarnation or Disturbance- or Trap Trick, if you can't get to either), by the end of turn 1. If Trap Tracks was your choice of pop, this excuses not having a hand reset because you can just dig it out from the Deck.
3) Turn 2 begins. In the draw phase, flip your pop. This gets Z-ARC to the Pendulum zone, and from there you proceed to the standby phase.
4) In said phase, flip up the hand reset so your opponent has to redraw a hand. This is where Z-ARC's second Pendulum effect triggers... and promptly destroys the new hand they just drew.
Yes.
Every single card of it.
Congratulations; they can't start a thing now, and will either quit on the spot or... watch you tickle them with battle damage?
(Sometimes they can still play, but kicking off a combo from the GY is something special to just a few decks. Besides, the sight of their hand going POOF! is still priceless, even if it doesn't win you the game then and there.)
Aaaand there you have it! Results are pretty much guaranteed to be atrocious, but hey, it's still a fun experience to pull off at times!! Here's your cookie for sticking around, by the way- have fun dueling, and happy holidays!

Oh yeah and only twilight can understand him bc she speaks salmonid. he just sounds like gurgles to the rest of the gang
twilight gets a transmission from Octavio basically telling her to go to Splatsville specifically, "blend in, make friends, keep a low profile, whatever"
just outside of splatsville they run into fluttershy (her name is probably different but I can't think of a good one so she's just fluttershy for now). she's a sea slug (kinda like flow) bc look at this image.

she's heading into town too and it basically goes like the show where she's like "omg is that a salmonid... wowie......."
MEANWHILE in Splatsville:
Pinkie (inkling), Dash (octoling who grew up in the Splatlands), and Jack (inkling) are all friends but they're in a bit of a pickle. they wanna do turf wars but they need a 4th person and the random people they keep getting matched with just don't vibe very well :(

Oh I wanna hug and slap George already.
Okay. So. Lewis's number 9 (oops, 8) in 2023 means that 2022 happened the way it did, which means that they did struggle together and. Ok no wait let me. Oh oh oh okay look we know that George has been higher in the standing in 2022 with the horrible car, right. But we also know that that's mostly down to Lewis's sacrafices in terms of letting them do the experimenting on his car during the first half of the season, plus the general amount of bad luck. So it's not really saying all that much. But still, enough people out there are now thinking that with a great car the title fight would be between George and Lewis and George now has his Mr. consistency reputation.
What if, in the tp au, the 23' fight isn't Lewis vs George (knowing that Lewis wins that dwc) but Lewis vs Max or Charles or both. Or all three. Meaning that George only really comes close to winning when Lewis is gone. So that hurts. Or even if George vs Lewis was a part of it, it still wouldn't have been enough. And George thought he'd be okay with that! Because it's Lewis, so no shame in losing. And he never wanted to be that kind of teammate who's bitter. But then again that is the nature of the sport and they are competitors and they did have the same car and George thought he'd stand a chance against Lewis in a fair fight, but it turns out that ultimately he didn't, not enough to best him -- So that makes the legacy painful, yeah??
And then, 2024, with Lewis gone, he still doesn't win, even though now he feels or everyone feeld that he really should have. You said Max wins? PARALLES??? Tell me it's fraud number 3.
But god, none of that is on Lewis. It doesn't make sense to blame him and it's so unfair but George doesn't deal well with everything, he's just not okay, he can't help it, it's just how he feels, resentful, bitter, frustrated, cynical, whatever - when really he's just angry with himself.
IT'S SO GOOD. IT'S NOT OKAY, IT'S SO TOXIC, BUT SO GOOD. Because how is Lewis supposed to handle that, right? None of what George might throw at him is something he's actually at fault for. But will he be able to be level headed about it? When he sees history repeating with yet another person who meant the world to him turning against him because of his success? You know?? But also - does he allow George too much, maybe, because on the one hand he is his boss now but on the other hand he is his boss now and he doesn't want to pull rank and make things worse, he doesn't want to let his own emotions compromise him??
Ok I could go on but I think I'm being incoherent af so I won't, for now, but yeah can you tell I'm excited

george isn't in contention for the WDC in 2023, but he's definitely up there and aligned with what people expect from mercedes. He's got a decent car behind him and he's got raw talent, everyone knows he does, but lewis is still lewis and george still has so much to learn.
And he doesn't compare himself to Lewis, because he's the first to tell you lewis is the GOAT - i mean, that's canon anyway LMAO - but he just so desperately wants to prove to lewis that he's got what it takes, that he's worthy of the mantel lewis is inevitably thinking about handing over, and that mercedes is in his safe hands when he's gone.
i don't want to reveal too much, but i can say george comes very very close in 2024 to beating max and it's by his own volition that he doesn't. and everyone had expected him to, george and mercedes and the fans and fuck, his performance has been so dominating in a way nobody expected from him necessarily to happen so soon, but lewis left and george had the heavy weight of mercedes' expectations dumped on him that he had no choice but to step up, to be better, and so he does.
but it still isn't enough. he doesn't win the WDC, and at the end of it all it doesn't matter how close he comes, he doesn't win. he bottles it when it mattered most and it's something a lot of fans don't forgive him for, because it's nobody's fault but his own. there's no car worthy of blame, this time, it's all on george and he suffers the consequences for it.
and it sucks him down, pulls him under and doesn't let him back up for air, the disappointment he knows he's caused evident in the way people look at him, how they speak to him, how his team keep him far away from social media in the weeks after Abu Dhabi. his safety net with lewis is gone, along with the man himself, and george is so alone with it all that it consumes him, forces himself to put up walls he's never had to before just to come through the other side with his soul intact.
he doesn't entirely succeed.
but you're right, none of it is lewis' fault - lewis doesn't owe george anything, and george knows that, somewhere in the depths of himself he knows lewis doesn't owe him a single thing but it's easier to resent him for leaving him all alone than to take a look at himself and take ownership for the choices he's made that's gotten him where he is.
but then lewis isn't not at fault entirely, either - he sees hints that george is struggling, not enough to solidify it for him, but enough that he has to actively ignore it to stop it from clawing at him. he sees it and he doesn't do anything, because they're not together anymore and it's not his problem - george isn't his problem - anymore. and if it keeps him up at night, if he can see the hollow look in george's eyes and the pretty porcelain of his smile so painfully fake to all who know him when he shuts his eyes, well. nobody but him will know about it. he doesn't do anything not because he doesn't want to, but he doesn't think it's his place to, but george doesn't know that.
here's a snippet from lewis' decision to rejoin merc as team principal, and you'll see what i mean:
"When he sees history repeating with yet another person who meant the world to him turning against him because of his success?" anonnnn this hurt so much!!!! because at it's centre this fic is a story of misunderstandings and trust breakdowns between two people who, at their core, still love one another so much but don't ever talk about it. lewis thinks george is turning against him because he can't deal with failing to follow in lewis' footsteps, and george thinks lewis left him all alone to deal with the pressure because he simply didn't care enough about him to stick around anymore.
IT IS... KINDA TOXIC ICL. but i hope it doesn't put anyone off, because it's so much more nuanced than that (but i totally get if it does lmao) and i hope it's an enjoyable read.

I am speechless. This episode was intense and fast paced. It just kept going and I fucking loved it. We had so much going on in this episode like wtf. The drusilla cure, her being a witchy tarot reader, the encoder/translater, the assassin who will not leave till they kill Buffy and then another slayer. Damn.
Loved loved this episode, can't wait to watch the next one. I am gonna watch it now lol. Don't have the patience.
I guess that's it for this one, probably talk more in the next one as we wrap up this episode. But seriously loved the episode and I am loving this season.

I feel like it would be fun to see Leo's actor in Mole Song Final play Ryuji... that's the only person that comes to mind ππ
BUT YEAH 4 was the first mainline entry with (proper) faceclaims! I would kill to see faceclaims get to play their characters. Because they actually aren't mocapped by them, just voiced and scanned in--the acting is all done by RGGS' mocap actors. If you're mentally ill enough you'll start to notice acting decisions that differ from what the actual actor would've gone for; Arakawa doesn't cry the way Nakai does, for example. NGL the animations get kind of uncanny at times if you're too mentally ill so I would not recommend paying quite that much attention lol
I was trying not to think about it though because even if we By Some Miracle got to "season 7" (8 if they do 0) it's entirely possible Nakai and/or Tsutsumi won't be acting anymore by then πππππTsutsumi wants to start directing by the time he's 60... That's chiefly why I kinda wanted it to be an adaptation of 7 before we knew any of the specifics... But Oh Well, it is what it is

ohhh yeah nonono ive definitely noticed DONT WORRY. whenever i draw or write fics, i always try to imagine the actual character first to see if the expression or dialogue fits them and if it's believable. having dove more into tsutsumi and nakai movies and shows, the difference is REALLY apparent to me (in that vein tho, it's easy for me to see them as individual characters as opposed to actors playing characters, so it's a little bit of a win for me somehow lmao)
YEAH NOOO THATS DEF A VERY LIKELY POSSIBILITY SHOULD THE SERIES SOMEHOW GET TO THAT POINT IN THE GAMES. again i doubt we'll actually get that far, but in the rare event that we do i hope nakai and tsutsumi do whatever makes them happy (and id def be into seein a movie directed by tsutsumi) (βΒ΄β‘`β)
