ok 1 menty b for me

i dont know. i think its just always been so alienating. i think theres something wrong with me and its unfixable. and sometimes, if i cant have anything else, i just want at least the fucking chance to express that without people thinking even less of me. and ik in reality nobody even gaf or sees me. but i also know know that if they did, 9times out fo 10 people would be rolling their eyes. whatever. idk. i feel so lonely and i dont think im ever not going to be lonely and its never going to get better because even when given the resources, the opportunities i just can never manage . i just cant . i swear i try . but every single time. my whole fucking life . i just walk away from everything with even less, it feels like. and its getting so much harderand harder. and i dont know how to express it liek ... i fucking feel myself SEETHE as ppl keep insisting "theres still a chance! there's still hope!" like sure bro. but i dont want to fucking keep living my life along the fucking asymptote of getting consistently closer to dying alone but "haha technically its not a certainty" and . like theres just something so fucking repulsive about me and i just cant seem to fix it no matter what. and im so exhausted all the time. and i genuinely dont think theres any way out of that . i go to work and i come home so burnt out and tired. and people are nice there but i dont think i can really connect with anyone . i just cant seem to get close to people . and i dont have it within me to meet anyone else because im so fucking tired all of the time .

and even if i did and i mustered all the energy and spent all the little time i had left in the world i dont think theyd have time for me. not just bc nobody in their 20s does but also because i dont know . it just never seems to work . and i cant do it again where i try to invest every little piece of me into it when its jsut always left me fucking miserable and pathetic. bro do you know what i mean. not to be 16 and lame as shit still. i feel like im always the idiot ppl take pity on at best . i dont think ive ever been real to anybody. like alwaysssssss...... and even now i feel like every time I HAVE existed within circles of others. its literally 10 times out of 10 just constantly fighting to be included and seen as someone whos not a fucking joke and i just feel like such a fucking . loser for caring so much about it when. REALISTICALLY. pretty much all the people ive met in life will have forgotten i exist. and ok. ok. i just dont think ... like its not like some trait within me right like ... im not As melodramatic to be like oh . oh theres an actual innate trait within me thats activated and stops people liking me. just. the contrary like. i just think theres nothing within me to actually like . or to gravitate towards. so likeyeah sure . that makes sense. why WOULD you want to bother with someone whos just kinda hollow or whatever.. something something or other. and i kind of wish i was more resilient about tht. but i jsut . i guess as is a Guy of that Nature, its just ... im trying to fucking not fucking spiral but i just feel myself fucking filling up with fucking . miserable SHITTY bile or whatever because i just wish i felt normal or whatever. its such a fucking human fucking thing that other people can MANAGE. but i cant . its so so fucking hard and i cant do it and i cant handle it. and i just feel so angry sometimes anyways . bc i hate it . and i keep trying bc i wanna make peace with it because i know theres no out . like ive long since given up on ever thinking its going to work out . because nothing fucking helps but makes it so much worse . anyways. i dont know. but i dont know bro. it drives me fucking insane when people always spout some bs about how "haha everyone has someone! everyone will find someone! like no they dont no they wont . its so .. so much more isolating. or like "EVERYONEEE feels lonely sometimes" like HOW does that help. HOW. and it makes it so MUCH FUCKING WORSEEEE when people tell you about how lonely they are too!!! like cool . i dont have a chance then. sorry i know thats such a bitter bitch thing to say. but idk if it rlly matters like ... at the end of the day idc when ppl have partners. or people they talk to. family who loves them. and youre still lonely. cool. thank you for letting me know, dude. go back to the people who will look out for you and love you whilst i sit in the dark and not speak to anyone for weeks whilst not a single person would even notice im gone .

or like. bro. i dont think a single person has taken me seriously for long enough to ever fucking like me or hold me in enough regard to like... want to talk to me again nevermind like be with me in a certain sense so i jsut. i dont know. sits alone. every fucking day for years maybe. i dont know. i feel so fucking sad and angry knowing deep down that i can know all this and know its true but even then . i cant even have that . people wont even take THAT part of me seriouslyand think im just some fucking idiot whos not even trying. when i really reallyhave but its just so... worthless it feels like . it feels like im never getting anywhere and everyone thinks i just gave up when i didnt. and i dont know. thar makes it sound like people actually see me and really are laughing or something when i dont think its nearly that much. i think its like oh people see me make that as a snap judgement and i fall out of existence again. and i dont know. it shouldnt matter but i feel so fucking strung out and exist between these instances only and idk. idk bro. im trying to be okay with it. but as im getting older i just feel like theres so many more things that are revealing themselves as worse and worse. and im going crazy. im going crazzzzzzyyyy . whatever . insert the mental breakdown gifs . the funny ones where those guys aremoving really fast

I can see this man being your biggest hype man, every time you come out in your velvety vintage clothes he's just like "My woman is INCREDIBLE" "Look at my girl in that outfit" "Taking my breath away"

George will for sure flaunt you like it's nobody's business. Bringing you up in conversations that have literally nothing to do with you because "oh yeah you talking about your grocery shop reminds me of how good my girl looked the other day when she went to the shops" Like honestly, he's so in awe of you

He LOVES to whisper little praising compliments that make your cheeks flush even more, he loves to see you blush for him, and he takes great pride in doing so

The jokester and the easy going gal, what could be wrong with that? Nothing i tell you.

This man cracks a lot of his jokes, no matter how bad, just so he can get you to smile for him, even if it's at the expensive of his terrible jests

Because he isn't always the most observant of people, he likes to know you're aware of things more than him. Like at several points of time, something would be going on and he'd come up beside you, resting his chin on your shoulder and is like "honey what's happening?" and you'll be able to tell him what's going on and more because you've seen all the other things that have led up to the situation.

It's always funny when you're together because someone says something like "do you recon i have a chance with this dame?" and at the same time as each other you answer completely contrasting things. George is like "yeah buddy, can only give it a go" and you're like "absolutely not" and then you'll both stare at each other and burst out laughing, completely forgetting that someone else is there

Again, this man will FLAUNT YOU. like you go into a pub to have a drink with some of the men and he'll keep you standing in front of him so everyone can see that you're there and you're stunning and that he's just the lucky guy standing behind you that gets to show you off.

He LOVES the fluffiness of your hair, and always find reason to ruffle it affectionately, even though sometimes it annoys you, but also it George so it's really hard for you to stay mad at him when he cracks some stupid joke that has you giggling on before you have a chance to snark at him

The only time you are able to get this man to shut up is when you're painting, like he gets so enamoured by watching you brush the paint across a canvas and he could jsut watch you for hours

he likes to give you ideas of concepts to paint like one day he asked you to paint something that expressed how you felt about him and you did exactly that and he was almost brought to tears by how beautiful he thought it was

Okay I love angsty Nico R so maybe some angst in oh deer orphanage?

Nico tends to go radio silent whenever his head gets really dark. He’s still pretty messed up over his childhood and being raised to be sold to the highest bidder. He has a really big complex about his animal markings too. He has a lot of issues with his looks, he knows he’s pretty with his blonde hair and blue eyes and the pretty flecks of blue and purple that’s all over his skin. Peacock markings are also very rare and highly sought after, but it also means people want to take advantage. Whenever he gets inside of his head about it he just goes silent. He’s not picking up Seb’s calls or answering his messages about the pups wanting him to visit. He’s not answering Kimi either which is really concerning.

Kimi being really on edge because they haven’t heard from Nico in a few days and they’ve checked his apartment and it seems like he’s just fallen off the face of the earth. Kimi calling one of his friends (Mika) to help try and track Nico down. It’s a few more days before Mika shows up at Seb’s house with Nico, who’s wrapped up in his jacket. Nico doesn’t want the pups to see him like this and begs Mika to just let him go home, but Mika doesn’t want to leave him alone.

The alphas distracting the pups while Seb drags Nico to the bathroom to help him clean up. And Nico smells like alphas and sex and it breaks Seb’s heart because he knows Nico did this to try and punish himself. Seb washing Nico’s hair and telling him all about what the pups have been up to. Giving him clean clothes that have been freshly washed so they don’t smell like alphas at all.

Mika coming over more frequently to check in on Nico. He can’t always get an answer out of the omega who’s still weary about him. So he has to rely on Kimi to know how he’s doing.

Nico also staying with Seb for a few days because he doesn’t want to be alone. Little alpha George noticing that Nico is really sad and climbs onto his lap and asks him to read him a story. The baby alpha also growling at Dan, Kimi and Lewis because he can sense that they stress Nico out when they get too close. Nico jokes about his little protector but really it makes him so happy and he hugs the little alpha extra tight.

pllss poor nico!! He tries so hard to just forget his past and focus on his work but sometimes it gets too hard and he feels himself slipping. Kimi always keeps a close eye on him and for a while things get a lot better. Mika makes things better for Nico too, but when they just start dating, Nico just gets overwhelmed and is so sure he doesnt deserve Mika, or that he is again only wanted for his body.

Nico disappearing for quite a long time, even longer than the other times he got in his head and left. Kimi is very concerned but covers for him at work, and keeps calling Seb in hopes of Nico showing up there. The pups are upset too cos Uncle Nico isnt visiting and they can sense something is wrong because momma and the papas are worried.

Then finally Mika finds Nico somewhere at a party and brings him to Seb. Poor thing reeks of sex and looks so lost and small, clearly not having been taking care of himself. He cries and begs to be let go but Mika and Seb usher him in while Dan and Lewis keep the pups busy. Seb washing Nico so gently and Mika is just waiting anxiously in the living room for news. Nico being dressed in Seb's clothes which jsut smell like Seb and the pups and Nico gets to stay in Seb's room with him too. The pups are all eager to snuggle Nico but Nico is so fragile that Seb isnt sure its a good idea. But george sneaks into the room anyways and Nico just smiles weakly and hugs him close. and ofcurse more pups sneak in then and Seb walks in on Nico being covered in little pups while Maxy reads them his book and Kevin just sits gently preening Nico's feathers.

Mika still visiting so much but trying to not overwhelm Nico so he just awkwardly waits around a lot with Kimi. Nico eventually just hugs him one day cos he knows Mika saved him and he adores the older Alpha and Mika just asks him if he is okay, if he needs anything and Nico just cries because an Alpha cares for him more than just sex.

mitsuki: for the record, mitsuki has gut feelings about everything. about her potential, about someone else’s potential for certain tasks, about what will be right for her, & about what will be wrong.

in high school, it made her a mediocre student. academics aren’t right for her. she can handle the material just fine . . . but she never needed to excel at it. she put her interest in other things ( sports, messing around with clay in the school art studio, photography, hiking ) — that sort of thing.

of course, none of that pays much in the long run —- & she doesn’t really care. she cares a little, but she just . . . never anticipated making a career of any of that.

especially not after she broke her ankle as a teenager. the break was bad, but it didn’t require surgery. & at the same time, a member of her volleyball team tore her acl. mitsuki loved the game & competing — but she looked at her injury & her teammate’s & thought that there’s no need to keep beating up her body when there’s so much she enjoys doing. & she doesn’t need sport as a profession to enjoy it to the max.

of course, that sometimes blows up in her face, but —

in high school, mitsuki always shrugged when she was asked what kind of occupation she wanted to pursue. she is charismatic & sometimes cruel & it is easy for her to cast the impression that she wants to give. in high school, she didn’t know what she wanted. the future was not a problem for that moment.

except it was a problem for that moment. she didn’t plan. mitsuki really had faith that a gut feeling would hit her when it needed to.

it did. incidentally, the gut feeling hit right when it was needed. she decided that there’s texture in clothing, that she can do more / feels like she can achieve more when she’s dressed right, wearing one of her favorites when she’s going on a hike or going for an interview or a date . . .

she chooses her clothes for success. & that is a gut feeling that pushed her to

model for the sake of networking, to take internships/assistant where she could to make her way up in industry, to eventually go back for a few classes in business school without pursuing a degree —-

it was a gut feeling. she was right to trust it.

iida: because of that freaking fan art you showed me ( here ) i’m really coming through to say quite specifically that iida had never seen an inhaler until he was seventeen. sihdfgsdf of course i’m not going to make that the end of this headcanon aspect and leave you hanging, but iida has a decent knowledge of first aid. it’s a matter of basic self-care and self-discipline to know the physical limitations & boundaries of the quirk. know thyself . . . & be able to treat thyself. & obviously he knows about asthma, but as an individual who has never personally had asthma ?? inhalers ?? who that?

anyway beyond that, preparation is a bit compulsive with iida. he has tendencies for rumination, for imagining worst case scenarios, & for checking/rechecking behaviors. first-aid & knowing what to do in the worst cases is comforting . . . even if the preparation is for naught when bad things actually happen. it’s a hobby, except it’s not a hobby, except it’s just

how he is.

also when he was ten he wrote out game plan strategies for a zombie apocalypse & a vampire apocalypse?? that he decided was jsut as reasonable as a zombie apocalypse?

aoyama: has legitimately said ‘ some faces are too pretty to have this conversation ‘ to avoid something. they aren’t joking. it’s not that they think themself gorgeous or anything; they’re accustomed to preening & to pomp & circumstance. the act is comforting in that it’s such a thorough facade —— when it comes to their actual appearance, there are instances of dysmorphia, dysphoria, & pieces of dissociation.

aoyama historically has been a very lonely person —- & historically, they are very pro reflective surfaces. & i have a separate headcanon about that which i’ll write separately like a wee lad, but all this to say —- they are kinda used to looking at themselves. it’s a bit of a convoluted experience because they see their reflection & they don’t really stop & think it reflects too much personally about them.

so when they have said things like ‘ some faces are too pretty to have this conversation - ‘ it’s weird because it sounds vain, & it is, & it’s a bit flamboyant. it’s also a way of saying that you are expecting a little too much out of them to have a specific conversation.

it’s an expression of insecurity. they don’t always have confidence they can see things through.

- WELCOME TO PART THREE sorry for the log wait 😭 life has been kicking my ass but we're not here to hear me complain, we're here for the tea

- so, it's a couple months after you joined the bakusquad and their relationship. and let me tell you, it has been nothing but amazing. 😩 your days are never quiet and they're always filled with some sort of excitement and love.

- you kaminari and mina often get into trouble for leaving the dorms late at night because you want snacks and there's nothing in the kitchens. you become kirishima's pillow, don't matter about your size or whatever, you are his pillow and you better not argue 🔫 sero always puts on some type of bachata or reggaeton or some spanish song and dances with you in his dorms. and bakugo is your go to person to cook with and just generally annoy or prank since it's so easy to get a reaction out of him.

- and you couldn't have asked for a better relationship. you all are so communicative and talk about your feelings often and how you're doing. every saturday or sunday, you all go to a dorm (usually it's bakugo's cause it's the cleanest) and have a huge cuddle pile and talk about your mental states, how you're doing, what you have problems with, etc etc.

- like damn ok i see you with the mentally and emotionally stable relationship 🤪🤪

- it's so refreshing too because sometimes you'll have a tough week and you jsut need to let it all out, and you can in the comfort of bakugo's dorm and you know none of them will judge you because they're all so open about their love for you (and vise versa)

- anyways, yeah y'all got the best relationship

- you never thought about anyone else in a romantic sense because the squad took up nearly all of the space in your heart. but when you teacher announced one day the general studies kids would be coming in to have a joint project to create gadgets for the hero course students, you had no idea your life would suddenly be turned upsidedown.

- you were paired with a guy named shinsou. he looked friendly enough and returned the wave you sent him with a little surprise as he made his way to the open seat next to you. he seemed surprised when you started a small conversation but he talked to you in a quiet soothing voice. he seemed nice enough and you figured the project would be a breeze since he seemed so nice and offered to meet up over the weekend to start up some ideas for the project.

- you agreed and the two of you met up that lunch period in the library to pre-draft some ideas and get to know each other more.

"i'm surprised you don't mind being seen with me."

his sudden comment took you by surprise as you looked up from your paper with messily drawn gadgets and chicken scratch writing to look up at him, "what do you mean?"

it was true you had never seen him before or even heard of him, but his hesitance to talk to you and open up to you made you feel as though you should.

shinsou rubbed the back of his neck and looked away shyly, "so you really haven't heard anything about me, have you?"

he looked almost guilty to bring it up, his gaze falling to the table in front of him as be played with a strand of his hair.

you shook your head. you never really payed attention to gossip around school, your head always too high up in the clouds to care about rumors and gossip (bakugo often scolded you for being such an airhead and ignorant to your surroundings, but you knew he was just worried about something happening to you). plus, to you, gossip was nearly never right and more often made up and fictitious.

shinsou refused to look up at you, "well. . .i'm known throughout the school as a. . ." he looked hesitant to continue but before you could reassure him he didn't have to talk about it if he didn't want to, he continued, "well, a villain."

he prised his lips as if the words left a bitter taste in his mouth, and all you could do was tilt your head. shinsou didn't seem like a bad person - or a 'villain' as he had said. on the way to the library he held open doors for you and helped you carry some of your books to your locker and even bought you a drink you wanted buy but were a bit short of change on.

"do you think you are?"

"what?" shinsou looked at you for the first time since he brought up the topic.

"do you think you're a villain?" he shuffled slightly in his seat and looked away again from your intense stare. he felt like you were looking straight into his soul from how strongly you were looking into his eyes, he wasn't sure if you had even blinked in the last minute.

shinsou thought back to all the times he's been called a villain or a criminal. it was always unwarranted, a passing comment that seemed like no big deal to others but shattered his heart into smaller and smaller pieces. but never once had he ever thought he was a villain - a monster.

if anything, he used those comments as encouragement to become a hero, to be better than those who always thought he would turn to a life of crime. so, "no... i don't think i'm a villain."

"well, that's that."

shinsou could only stare at you, your smile brighter than any star he'd ever seen, so full of hope and encouragement shinsou felt like he could take on the world. he looked away and rubbed the back of his neck, a shy smile pulling at his lips and a weird feeling blossoming in his chest. how curious. . .

- so yeah, a new friendship 🤪 the two of you started to spend a lot of free time together for the project. you would often meet up during lunches or free time between classes to work some more on the project, all the while getting to know each other in depth. you learned many things about shinsou and spilled many of your own secrets, you laughed together over old childhood stories, and played animal crossing on the rooftop during lunch, your project discarded and forgotten beside you.

- your sudden absence didn't go unnoticed by your lovers, and they grew curious to your whereabouts when you would blow them off for the fifth time that week to "work on your project". now, don't get me wrong, they had conplete trust in you and knew you would never cheat, but they were just curious as to what - or who - was taking up so much of your time.

- so, they did the smartest thing, and followed you. after blowing them off for the sixth time, they decided to follow you to your destination. mina and kaminari tried to be inconspicuous and wear disguises, but the fake mustache, black glasses (indoors, might i add) and hat weren't all too discreet as they thought.

- they followed you through every turn and weave you took and hid behind a corner when you stopped at a vending machine to get your favourite drink. but what surprised them the most was you also bought a coffee. bakugo was most surprised you even thought about even touching the can of caffine because he remembered you telling him you would get terrible caffine rushes that would make you dizzy if you drank coffee.

- but, as you finally reached the rooftop and made your way to a hunched over figure in the corner, it all made sense.

- they all saw how effortlessly you and shinsou acted around each other. they could see the soft looks he would send you when you weren't looking and the way his hand would hover over yours for a split second too long before snapping away as if you were made of lava. but surprisingly, they didn't feel any sort of jealousy or anger, it felt like a piece of them had returned they didn't even know was missing. the sort of feeling that walks through the door unexpectedly but it's wholesomely welcomed.

- the "oh, there you are, welcome back" type of feeling. they were happy you had found someone that made you feel comfortable, arguably more comfortable than you had been with them so far because truthfully, while you had felt welcomed and appreciated in the relationship, it still felt like you were an outsider. the five of them had inside jokes before you came and didn't get them when they came up, the five of them had habits special to each other that inadvertently excluded you. and while they never meant to hurt you (god knows that's the last thing they ever wanted to do), they had. but you knew that wasn't their intention so you held no malitious feelings towards them (not that you think you'd ever could).

- but the way you and shinsou so effortlessly opened up to each other, shared intimate details and secrets with each other - it warmed their hearts. so, bakugo grabbed them all by the back of their shirts and dragged them away, mumbling about giving the two of you space. there was a fond look in his eyes as he looked at the two of you he would be teased about later but would deny.

- it was undeniable bakugo held the softest spot for you. he tried as best as he could to include you in their inside jokes and habits but he was. . well . . . bakugo 🧍🏽‍♀️

- words aren't necessarily his strong suit and he could only hope his smaller actions let you know you were as loved and cherished as any of them there. and you knew, you caught on a little after bakugo had a little "secret talk" with the group (that wasn't really secret at all, he grabbed them all by their shirts and dragged them to a secluded spot while you distracted on your phone) and they all started to explain their jokes and include you in their habits.

- anyways, back to you and shinsou. 🤪 he was aware you were in a ployamorous relationship with the bakusquad and he's heard the way you talk about them and the soft airy tone of your voice and the starry look in your eyes; and he didn't want to get in between that. the last thing he ever wanted was to ruin your relationship for his own selfish reasons.

- so for the time being, he would be okay with watching you from afar, the sweetness of your love so close for him to taste; yet too far for him to savour.

- as more and more times passed, the bakusquad began to notice the lingering looks you would give shinsou when you passed him in the halls and how he would always be waiting for you outside of your class with your favourite drink before leaving you to go to lunch while he went off and . . . well, you weren't sure what he did during his free time, but he never brought it up so you never figured to ask.

- when you fell asleep the next time you all had a cuddle session in bakugo's room, they all talked about it. talked about your obvious feelings for each other and the possibility of including shinsou in their relationship. they spent hours talking about it and still talked about it even when the moon vanished over the horizon and the sun rose. and, in not very smart fashion, bakugo was tasked to confronting shinsou about their conclusion.

- which - almost as if there were an author behind all of this - didn't go as well as any of them planned.

it was perfect, really. almost as if the universe had been listening to their conversation and aligned itself perfectly for this very moment.

you woke up that morning with a terrible stomach ache and chose to stay back in your dorm after bakugo made you a bowl of soup and threatened you to take your medicine. his classes ended a little earlier than usual and, sending his lover's a nod, made his way over to your class, where, lo and behold, shinsou was standing near the door, the familiar brand of your favourite drink in one hand and his own cold coffee in the other.

bakugo wasn't sure what he was going to say when he reached shinsou. he opted to just speak from the heart over rehearsing lines with the others like they had wanted, besides, what kind of lover would be be if he couldn't even do this for you? but, what he didn't take into consideration, was his emotional constipation and tsundere attidute.

"hey, eye bags!" bakugo called out.

shinsou nearly jumped out of his skin at bakugo's sudden loud voice. he looked over with the same eyes of indifference he normally had, but bakugo could see the slight far in them. not at his brash attitude (shinsou could never be afriad of bakugo and confronting him before the sports fesitval was a perfect example of that) but the fear of ruining your relationship with the bakusquad.

shinsou nodded at bakugo when he got close enough. bakugo stood in front of him, his hands still shoved into the pockets of his pants, "they're sick."

it was a simple enough statement but shinsou blinked, "what?"

"y/n." bakugo stated and rolled his eyes as if the answer had been written on his forehead (and it basically had, shinsou was just a bit shocked at his appearance), "they're sick and mina's staying back with them in their dorm."

shinsou rubbed the back of his neck, "oh."

there was an awkward silence as the two boys stood in the vacant hallway. bakugo didn't know what to say and shinsou wasn't sure if he should leave or go visit you for their lunch break.

"i'll go drop this off to them-"

"no." bakugo practically growled, "i'll drop it off. go get eat your lunch or i'll make your face an eye bag."

shinsou flushed a bit in embarrassment. he was overstepping, of course he was. for a minute, having you all to himself for nearly a week straight made him forget about the relationship you were in and this was a smack of reality. you weren't his. you were in a relationship with others, other people who could give you nearly double what he could - everything he couldn't.

handing bakugo the drink, shinsou stalked away to the cafeteria, his cheeks still a light shade of pink. bakugo sighed and knew he most likely made things worse, and he came there originally to make things right.

but fate will work itself out. and what will be, will be.

- so... maybe sending bakugo wasn't the best idea ... 🧍🏽‍♀️

- because now, shinsou started avoiding you. when the two for you worked on your projects together, he would remain mostly silent and only input his opinion when he thought of an idea or needed help putting something together. you had no idea why and you honestly felt a little hurt that he ignored you as easily as breathing.

- you brought this up to your lovers on your weekly cuddle session, knowing they would have brought up your downpour attitude either way. what you didn't notice as your face was burried in denki's sweater were the glares they all were throwing at bakugo.

- "yeah, i wonder what happened..." sero smiled, though obviously strained, as he pet your head and told you shinsou was probably just going through something.

- and it was obvious you were hurt that shinsou had suddenly stopped talking to you because honestly it was kind of hard for you to make friends. a lot of people assumed you thought you were higher than everyone else because you were dating five students from the top hero course, but that obviously is far from the truth.

- anyways, a long time goes by and the two of you still haven't rekindled anything and the squad is getting a bit frustrated because hello??? join our cult lover circle ?????

- so the squad comes up with another solution and this time they don't send bakugo to collect shinsou

- they learned their mistake last time.

- anyways

- so sero goes and gets shinsou and tells him you need him for a little last touch of the project since it was near the due date and you wanted to make sure it was perfect. and shinsou agrees to meet up with you and follows sero.

- sero takes him into an empty classroom and it's pitch black. the windows have been covered with tape and all the lights are off. before he could ask what the hell was going on, the door slams shut and the lights suddenly turn on and shinsou's blinded for a moment.

- and he's met with a very interesting sight.

- mina, kaminari, and kirishima are standing in front of him with sunglasses and hats on, their arms are crossed and they have a blank look on their faces (though he can tell kaminari is about to burst into laughter and nearly does but kirishima jabs him in his side.)

- "uhh..."

- "shut up, eye bags." bakugo calls from behind him. he's leaning against the door with his arms crossed and an obviously pissed off look on his face.

- sero is just standing next to him with a 'sorry pal' kind of smile.

- "what is-"

- "what are your intentions with, y/n?" kaminari shouted suddenly as he slammed his hand on a nearby desk.

- "denki- no." mina pushed him back lightly, "that's not what-"

- "did you not listen last night, sparky?" bakugo rolled his eyes and scoffed lightly.

- kaminari shyly scratched his cheek, "i might have fellen asleep-"

- "he did." sero confirmed, "he drooled on me and everything.

- "I do not drool!!"

- "yes you do, it was like a waterfall, 'ki. "

- "no i don't, right kiri?"

- "well.. only a few drops.."

- "WHAT?! and none of you told me?!"

- "well, y/n kind of made us promise not to tell..."

- "SPEAKING OF Y/N," mina interjected into the conversation, her fingers rubbing at her temples as she wondered when she became the rational one, that was bakugo's job, "why don't we stick to the script, boys."

- kirishima slung an arm over her shoulder and pressed a kiss to her cheek, "sorry, princess."

- "right." sero turned to shinsou and crossed his arms, "you have feelings for them don't you?"

- shinsou tensed. his mind was still trying to comprehend the conversation that happened just a few seconds ago and processing the fact that kaminari drools in his sleep. he wasn't sure how to respond.

- of course he had feelings for you, any rational person who came into contact with you would catch feelings. it was part of your natural charm that seemed to effortlessly draw people in and never let them go. in a matter of minutes, you had simultaneously become his best friend and his closest confidant. often at night he cursed himself for catching feelings for you when things were perfect just the way they were.

- but shinsou couldn't help it. you had treated him like a normal person and weren't apprehensive about his quirk. you gave him a taste of normalcy in his world of anxieties and judgement, and he craved more and more the more time he spent with you.

- so dispte wanting to desparately scream 'yes, i do love her' at the top of his lungs, he looked down at the ground, "no. . . i . . i don't."

- "liar."

- bakugo seethed behind him.

- shoving himself off the wall he was leaning on, bakugo walked closer and closer to shinsou as he spoke, "don't lie. we all see the way you look at them, the way your stupid face lights up with a small smile when they're with you or the airy chuckle you give when they do one of those stupid dances when they make food and-"

- "OK OK I GET IT!" shinsou snapped. mina jumped slightly in kirishima's arms and shinsou sent her a small apologetic look, "you know! I'm in love with them! i've been. . ." he trailed off before collapsing into a chair behind him, his head hanging back and staring into the bright flourescent lights hanging from the ceiling.

- "i've been trying to distance myself from them, to make getting over them easier."

- "they've been hurting, y'know."

- shinsou groaned and hid his face in his hands, "i know. you think i don't see the looks they give me when i avoid them in the halls? it hurts knowing i'm the reason they're in pain."

- "so why are you doing it?"

- "because they have you guys," shinsou sighed as it if we're the most obvious thing in the world, "you all could love them a lot more than i ever could alone. plus, they're so happy with you, i couldn't be the reason to disturb that."

- "you gotta be fucking kidding me." bakugo growled and pinched the bridge of his nose.

- kaminari snorted, "i think i just got deja vu."

- "you could say that again," mina sighed, "i'm heading back to the dorms, this is giving me a headache."

- with his arm still slung over her shoulder, kirishima agreed, "yeah, not sure how we didn't see this from the beginning. i'll walk you back, princess."

- shinsou only stared blankly as mina and kirishima left the room with kaminari in tow, complaining about getting some math work done. never in his life did he feel as confused as he did now

- lost. mans was lost..

- someone get him a map and help him please

- they acted as if they hadn't been the ones to literally kidnap him

- only to nonchalantly walk out the door?????

- sero's voice snapped him back to the remaining two people in the room, "you two really are a match made in heaven." sero smiled at him and shinsou felt head rise in his cheeks, whether it be from embarassment or something else, he didn't know.

- "i'll see you two around" and then he left, leaving shinsou alone with bakugo, who had yet to realease the bridge of his nose from his pinch.

- "you're both a pair of dumbasses."

- "i'm offended-"

- "y/n said the same fucking thing when we confronted them."

- shinsou stayed silent.

- "they felt like their presence would ruin the routine we had set a long time ago when we first started our relationship. . . sound familiar?"

- shinsou rubbed the back of his neck and opened his mouth to speak, but bakugo interrupted.

- "shut up, eye bags, i'm not finished."

- "i dIdNt eVEn sAy aNyTHiNg"

- "sure there were some things we had to adjust to include them in our schedule and a whole new bundle of emotions to incorporate into our lives; but the while point of a relationship is to open up slowly and learn to trust the ones you love. and eventually, we all learned to trust them the same way they learned to trust us; but trust isn't something you can learn over night. it's gradual."

- bakugo sighed, how in the hell did he get stuck in this situation again. at the very least no one got injured this time, "what I'm trying to say is, if y/n makes you happy, then we're all willing to let you in our relationship and put our trust in you.

- "will you put your trust in us?"

- how dramatic ˙ ͜ʟ˙

- so

- :) shinsou decides, fuck it. i deserve the good things in life, and he puts his trust in the squad the same way they all put their trust in him.

- and they decided it was a good time to surprise you too and kill two birds with one stone :)

- so you walk in to bakugo's dorm after a long day of school. you were returning from turning in your project with shinsou, and while the teacher had given you many compliments and basically secured your A, you still felt a bit sad knowing it would be the last time you would see shinsou since your schedules didn't collide and you had ended on a . . . confusing note.

- so you were just looking to cuddle with your lovers on a Friday night and wallow away in your sadness.

- when you walked in the group had been piled in their natural spots on bakugo's bed. mina was giggling with kaminari as they scrolled through tiktok, bakugo was reading a book you had reccomend to him a while a go, sero and kirishima were softly play fighting as they laughed and chuckled.

- everything was as it should be

- until you got to where your spot usually was, cradled between bakugo's warm and firm chest and mina's plush thighs and stomach, and it was occupied by someone else.

- everyone stopped what they were doing, as they watched a smile pull at your lips when you recognised the disheveled pruple hair lazily sprawled in your spot. everyone watched with bated breath as they waited for your reaction and small smiles of their own shining through as they watched your interaction.

- you lifted your hand and smacked shinsou's knee that had been raised up slightly as one of his arms lay behind his head and the other fiddled with a bracelet around mina's wrist, and his lips pulled into a lazy smirk of his own as he watched you.

- "get up, fat head, you're in my spot."

- his smirk only grew.

- "do something about it, hero."

Helloo, it's me again. Your writings are awesome and I jsut can't seem to get enough. Can I please request a scenario where Loona's Jinsoul has a crush on reader and during her rehearsal with her group, Loona members just literally exposes her.

Jinsoul x Reader

Big fat crush

It's been a little less than a month since you met Jinsoul. You met her thanks to mutual friends and since that day you've seen each other two or three times on casual hangouts already. She was a nice friend, always caring and kind, someone that actually listens when you talk; it was nice having her around.

Today she invited you at her rehearsal since it was your meeting day of the week. She had things to do but didn't want to give up your Thursday's encounters. So here you were arriving at the concert place in the middle of the afternoon, feeling a little nervous if you had to be honest.

Meeting the eleven members and close friends of Jinsoul was quite stressful but you weren't too worried, after all you could be pretty social when you had to.

Anyway you didn't expect her members to be that friendly. When you arrived you sent a text to Jinsoul asking her to come get you because you didn't want to face her members alone but they all came greeting you, eager to know you.

"Hey, Y/N how are you?"

You blinked a few times before answering to Haseul that you were fine, quite shocked that she knew your full name. Of course Jinsoul must have been talking to her members about you since they live together but you didn't expect them to remember or even pay attention to what she was saying.

All of them introduced themselves one by one and you could now put faces on the stories Jinsoul told you.

"So are you guys ready for your concert ?"

You chuckled when Yeojin answered that she was born ready, receiving light taps from her older members.

"I'm pretty sure we're going to do well but you know, there's always some pressure."

You nooded at the very logical answer coming from Choerry.

Soon enough the girls had to go do sounds checks letting you alone with Jinsoul that had already did hers.

"Hey.."

"Are you really going to act shy now that your members are not with us anymore ?"

You laughed at Jinsoul shy behaviour and crazy eyebrows expressions before giving her a hug. You smiled at her once you stepped back, not noticing the way her cheeks turned red at your proximity.

Well maybe you didn't notice but Hyejoo was fast to point it out when she came back from sound check.

"Why are you blushing like a teenage girl ? You look like Gowon when I..."

"..When she gives me food !"

Gowon was fast to cut her secret girlfriend off sending her a terrific look. But of course Kim Lip had to step in with her perverted mind right at this moment. You truthfully didn't even have time to register the first segment.

" That's how people call it nowadays ? Wait ! Did I miss Jinsoul great finally ?! Oh chuu, you could have call me seriously guys.."

You tried to search for Jinsoul's eyes but she kept avoiding to make eye contact with you, making you unsure on what to believe or not.

"Did you call me ? Why are you disappointed ? Oh no don't tell me we miss Jinsoul's confession ? Was it great ? Did she kneel down to ask Y/N to be her girlfriend like in romantic movies ?" Chuu asked without breathing between each question.

Sooyoung approached, encircling her girlfriend's shoulder with one arm and listening carefully to what she was saying before presenting her fist to bump to Jinsoul.

"Well done bro."

"Oh no we missed it I told you we didn't have time to make out !"

Heejin's and Haseul's voices were heard respectively talking to Hyunjin and Vivi who exchanged a look before shrugging. You would have let out a chuckle if you weren't so lost at this moment. You tried to reach out to Jinsoul but she walked away before you could.

"Did we say something wrong ?"

You kept your eyes on Jinsoul's figure while answering Heejin's question.

"She didn't ask me out or confess yet, she was just blushing."

The members exchanged terrified looks, feeling guilty for the way they messed up. In sync they started saying all the good things they could about Jinsoul.

"She's always smiling so big when you text her, seriously it seems like her cheeks are about to rip off sometimes."

"She really loves you, she can't stop talking about you to the point where we practically know all about you."

"It's been days that she's been harassing us to have date ideas. I'm so sorry."

"Yesterday she repeated her confession speech so much that all of us know it by heart like poetry now."

They were all talking at the same time letting you hear only half of the informations.

Suddenly no one was speaking, curious about why you didn't bulge or say anything, your eyes still on Jinsoul. Vivi talked for the first time.

"Y/N, why are you not looking surprised by what we said ? You already knew didn't you ?"

"I figure it out a while ago. Jinsoul isn't exactly the best at hiding things and to be honest if she wasn't planning on confessing I would have been the one to do it anyway."

The girls were so happy to hear that you felt the same way about Jinsoul than what Jinsoul felt for you. They started squealing like crazy, getting Jinsoul's attention back to you. You noticed how even though she was kind of sulking she was looking out for you when she mumbled : "Are you okay ?".

You decided that it was time since her confession had been sabotaged, you had to do it. You nooded before mumbling an "I love you" almost imperceptible on your lips.

You saw how Jinsoul's eyebrows frown, not sure that she understood it right. You didn't have time for more charades so you walked to her.

"What did you say ? I didn't get it."

"Nevermind. Would you go on a date with me ?"

Jinsoul's blinked a few times before looking at you with arched brows. Asking you if you were serious.

"Thursday, 6pm ?"

The smile that took place on her face was the brightest you ever saw.

"I'd love that."

"Yeah I kind of guess."

She chuckled at your joke even though she was still a little angry at her members for being so bad at secrets.

However you spent your day looking at the girls rehearsal before Jinsoul led you to your car since you couldn't attend the concert.

Before you entered your car she hugged you tight, inhaling your scent to get courage before the show.

"What did you mumble first ?"

You chuckled at how she was trying to get what she wanted in exchange of a hug. You broke the hug and got in your car but before driving off you repeated it in the safe place of your car where she could only try to guess.

TPN Vol 13 (and some earlier volumes) Thoughts

I honestly thought there’d be more sort of... domestic fun times in the shelter with the dadsTM but Ig not, okay byeeee- (i wish i could be sad, come on brain)

I also just... they HAD to throw in that romantic sub...element before he died?? really? was that necessary? ugh. I felt like they could have done more of these flashes to the past earlier and then just reminded us of them here but... oh well.

Also Emma’s dreams give her therapy. I’m not sure if TPN is saying that these sort of visions are actually some sort of supernatural connection but I find the idea funny that Emma gives herself therapy in her dreams and just SENSES the timing of the explosion (again, weird “placing scenes inbetween other things that already happened”) - that was intense, but I just... I’m not huge on these outright CONVERSATIONS. I think for Ray’s hallucination it worked better because (and the german dub goes in on this even more) Norman just says things (even if a bit different) that were already said before, so it’s more of a.... coming together I guess.

That also kind of bothered me about the scene when Emma is passed out in GP, it just felt a little “??”, thanks Emma for giving yourself a pep talk by imagining all of that. Ik she’s close to death BUT HOW DID SHE KNOW HOW PEOPLE DIED THAT SHE NEVER MET.

We kind of joked that since the eye necklace gives Emma that one experience on the water, it might be what triggers these things? but then again, it also happens earlier so probably not-

but it’s a fun little inside joke, “ah, there the eye goes again”.

STUPID KIDS- I mean yes let the kids be stupid sometimes but GOD WHY NOW, GO BACK- though ig if they had the mech owls, they might have easily found them again anyway. who knows.

How convenient that the randoms always died.

BUT injuries actually persist and are dealt with instead of just time-skipping to when the person in question is okay again :) Emma’s stab had no weight, it was only there for Yugo’s arc and was not dealt with satisfyingly for me hh...

I didn’t talk about this I think because I didn’t note down things for that volume, but hh idk, she seemed PERFECTLY FINE when she got up again, which was hard for me to believe... and afterwards, we couldn’t have gotten one or a few chapter(s) showing the things Emma recaps happened while she was out? We couldn’t have gotten some angsty panels with unconscious Emma and people coming to her side? come on :(

please get Andrew off my screen pls end my suffering, i do not want to LOOK AT THIS.

but also. goddamn. shounen manga, huh-

LIKE THIS IS EPIC BUT ALSO I DO NOT WANT TO SEE IT.

HAHAHA I THOUGHT THE ANIME CAME UP WITH THIS CONVENIENT DEMON NOM dsihsds, the manga executed it better (i will never get over how the anime cast just sits there like :o at the first time seeing a human being eaten but hey) but it’s still... very convenient oml.

Ray just wants to be burdened. the man wants to use his resolve to kill. let him.

Minerva time - obviously the secrecy is kinda ruined by the anime and by spoilers, but... idk... do people actually not find obscuring people... sus? I mean I GUESS the first time we saw the person with the hood, they also didn’t show his face SO I SUPPOSE it’s not completely unlikely that it’s just continuing to do that - but why would you not show it if it was actually James? He already had a face reveal. And the super harsh shadows on only him just look kind of awkward and hhh I DON’T KNOW-

As much as I like this scene as their introduction and I’m glad we get to see the mass production farm (the hug killed me), I also would have preferred them to omit him from it or just not show it NOW (they love their insert-scenes-in-hindsight stick way too much anyway) to commit to the “secrecy” approach for the audience. But maybe I just don’t get it. And I do like the scene so I’ll shut up and take it.

I will say... Barbara eating demon meat reveal in the anime... i liked that more tbh. Because we realize it with Emma and Ray and the way it frames the meat and her hate talk, it’s just MWAH-

Though they also have a lot more personality in the manga which I feel wouldn’t have hurt their anime counterparts.

I still pledge for a two year age-up for this story iduskhjds, it wouldn’t have hurt in general but also jsut because... imagining a 13 y/o dramatically pulling his hood off on a balcony in front of a crowd is just... not as epic to me as it’s supposed to be I think fuishdjs

And as much as the execution of the Norman reveal in the anime deserves to be dunked on and as awkward as the “walking up without saying anything” is... at least being in a demon community was a good reason to actually, yknow OBSCURE their faces and hide them naturally. I didn’t really think about this before BUT that actually makes a lot of sense and I like that more than the harsh shadow treatment.

I also always thought that the “Minerva” cover was supposed to make them come to him, which I GUESS it did, but he had his messages anyway (the way I thought it went was that he had no way to contact them, so he took that cover so they’d come find him eventually and stuff) and ALSO sent people out to find them so I guess it wasn’t the only reason - I suppose it’s also for other children/humans who know Minerva. I actually really like this element, I think it’s neat. I just thought it wouldn’t be this.... in your face and more sort of... not showing him at all until they meet him.

I also hope he actually told the squad his name is James, he’s just like a completely different person, actually sadssda.

I just find it funny to think about Lucas hearing some young soft-spoken boy, maybe barely being grazed by puperty voice and going, “yup, thats the same person as I heard on the phone with Emma :)” just. how. like if he didn’t think so I would have assumed he’d mentioned it.

Also another case of “we didn’t hint this, we didn’t show this off to the side in a panel (or tori is blind), BUT IT HAPPENED GUYS I SWEAR. HE ALSO GAVE IT TO OLIVER I SWEAR!!!!-”

I didn’t know about the mech owls. interesting.

I find Jin and Hayato’s reactions to the group interesting. the group kind of sees all the GF escapees as holy or also as their rescuers sth because like, if they hadn't escaped, none of them would be free, etc. Which now that I think about it, is... technically not true ig since Norman could have escaped Lambda even without the GF escape succeeding so. HM. And ig since they bowed to them, I think maybe it's jsut "wow you escaped on your own, you're so cool"? I just wonder if they kind of began thinking that way on their own or if Minerva's protecc squad/Minerva kind of gave them reason to behave that way by talking about the GF escape or something... probably they just did it on their own but I'm just rambling.

or maybe they’re just impressed they aren’t incompetent.

idk if im forgetting anything but yee, here we go. I’m just being a judgy prick, I’m enjoying it (mostly bc our read is just chaotic).

The Most Wonderful Time

A/N: Written in response to this ask! Pairing: Alex Cyprin x MC Summary: H.E.R.A's annual winter holiday celebration comes around in the form of a party for all of its workers- and it's MC's first time attending, having joined the organization this past year. What are the chances, then, that she winds up under the mistletoe with her best friend and boss, Alex Cyprin, without even trying to do it? Hint: the chances are very high. || AO3

She doesn’t even notice, when the people around her start to grow silent. That’s not too unusual when the boss is near, right?

Of course, she doesn’t really have any qualms about Alex- Cyprin, she corrects herself- being at the H.E.R.A.-hosted winter holiday party. They’re her oldest friend, even if they’re also her boss now, and so conversation between them flows easily. (Maybe too easily, but she’s still figuring out the professional boundaries. Sue her.)

She rarely has any time to catch up with them- outside of work or otherwise. So of course she wants to take the opportunity to do it now. And she has been, walking around the office with them with hardly any interruption. They smile easily, and laugh at whatever jokes she tells, and sometimes their elbow knocks into hers.

It’s amazing.

They’re still saying something when she realizes she’s gotten a little distracted by her enamorment, and she tunes back in.

“...and she actually admitted to me, that she hadn’t had any interest in it until I was born. Because, you know. My aura. Reindeers. She thought it was too good to pass up.”

“Oh, gods,” she laughs. “Are there any pictures of you in those little antler headbands?”

She expects them to laugh, too, but their silence says more, and she holds out her arm to stop them, turning to look at them with surprise.

“Are there really-?”

“No!” they say, too quickly, putting their hands up in defense. There’s a light brush of pink coloring their cheeks, and they’re looking anywhere but at her. “Forget I said anything!”

And she would, for them- if they weren’t smiling so good-naturedly.

That’s when the quiet starts.

“Oh, I’ll let you drop it for now, boss,” she says, and it’s a teasing thing. “But I won’t forget it, you can believe that.”

They sigh and shake their head, exasperated, though fondness shines through it all.

“I know you won’t.” They wrap her on the head lightly with their knuckles. “You’ve got a steel trap, there.”

With a snort, she’s about to say something more when she hears May’s gasp from nearby, and she finally notices that not only have the coworkers around her gone silent save for some whispers- they’re also watching both her and Cyprin.

“What- May?” she asks, turning to her favorite person in the department. Excluding Cyprin, of course.

May takes a moment to recover from whatever it is that’s shocked her and everyone else, before she smiles wide.

“Look up!” she shouts, and points to something over hers and Cyprin’s heads.

When she does, she freezes in place at the tiny bit of mistletoe hanging above them, a furious blush already working its way over her cheeks and up to her ears. She knows the tradition, and what it means- but the prospect of fulfilling it- with Cyprin? It’s almost too much for her heart to handle. Her crush never really had gone away, after all.

“I- no, that’s- we can’t-” she tries to say something, to back out of it, stumbling over her words before she just sort of flounders, looking to Cyprin for help.

To her surprise, they seem almost as flustered as she is, a blush that rivals her own on their face.

Thanks the gods, though, for their cool head and quick recovery. They seem to gather themself up, and the blush fades from them while hers is still going strong, and they step forward.

“Agent Chan, please. That would be very inappropriate,” they say, with a smile that begs for anyone to argue.

No one does, though May does giggle a bit, and Cyprin looks out at all of the other workers.

“Back to the festivities?” They cock their head to the side a bit, smirking when some of their underlings jump and whirl away, dragging their friends with them to save themselves any further embarrassment at having been caught staring and called out for it.

When the party resumes, Cyprin makes their way back over, taking care, this time, to avoid the mistletoe overhead.

“Are you alright?” they ask, and she can see true concern bleed into their gaze.

It settles something in her, and she can breathe easier. Her blush starts to lighten up, though it doesn’t go away completely.

“Yeah, I’m okay. Thank you.”

“Of course. Now, where were we?”

“...antler pictures?”

“No!”

They say it so quick- and a little too loud that it startles people nearby- that she can’t help but burst into laughter.

Conversation between them resumes easily after that, as if it had never stopped at all, and it carries late into the night, even past the departure of most other workers.

They’re two of the last people to head out that night, both staying and offering to clean up.

By the time they’ve finished, no one else is in the office. They stand proudly, overlooking the efforts of their teamwork. The office was near-spotless, all of the trash and drink spills cleaned up, all food given away and cleared out.

“Good work,” Cyprin starts, pulling her attention back to them, “Now there’s jsut one last thing we need to get rid of.”

“Oh- what’s that?”

They hold up a finger, motioning for her to wait a moment. They reach up, and she follows their movements, watching as they pluck the mistletoe from above their heads once more.

“Wow, twice in one night, who’d have thought?” she jokes, that faint blush coming back.

Cyprin holds it out between them, mischief sparkling in their eyes, now that it’s just the two of them.

“Who’d have thought indeed,” they say, and-

Were they always standing so close?

Before she can think anymore of it, they place a quick, gentle kiss on the crown of her head. They step away just as quick, tossing the mistletoe in the trash. They’re blushing, too, she can tell, and it takes a second for her to recover from that sudden and brief contact.

Still flustered, though, Cyprin saves her from saying the embarrassing ‘thank you’ that had been on the tip of her tongue.

“Come on, it’s late. Let’s get out of here. I’ll even walk you to the subway, if you want.”

So, they get on their winter coats, and she follows them into the elevator, and the quiet that stretches between them isn’t uncomfortable so much as it is tense with things unsaid, things that can’t be said.

They each give a quiet goodbye to the night shift security guard before stepping out into the cold, snow drifting down on lazy winds.

The walk to the subway is filled with small pieces of conversation, the two of them mostly just enjoying the time to be together. They walk so close that their hands brush from time to time, and they thank the cold for being able to do so.

It’s not long, though, before they arrive.

Cyprin gives her one of those smiles that she can’t help thinking is just for her, and it’s the easiest thing to return it with her own.

“Thank you for coming with me, you really didn’t have to.”

“Of course I did. You stayed late to help me clean up when you didn’t have to, this is the least I could do in return.”

Overhead, she hears the announcement that the train is about to leave. She starts to turn away, but looks back to Cyprin.

Their hand is raised to wave goodbye to her, but there’s something in the way that they look at her that makes her turn around fully and take their face in her hands.

Like their own, it’s gentle and quick- a kiss on the cheek.

She pulls back and hurries to board before the doors close.

“Wait-” they call out after her.

Breathless, and a little giddy, she calls back to them:

“It happened twice!”

And the door closes between them. She waves at them through the window, and they wave back, still stunned, and-

It might have been her imagination, but as the train started to move away, she thought their hand had moved over to where she’d kissed them.

But then, they’re out of sight, and she knows that she can’t bring that up ever again. It wasn’t professional at all, but- they were her friend, first. Her best friend.

She tucks the memory into her heart, the only place for such a precious thing, and finds herself smiling a private smile. Brushing the hair that’d come loose from her bun out of her face- and letting her fingers linger over where they’d kissed her- she sighs, content.

“Good night, Alex,” she murmurs, so quiet that only the wind might have heard her, if she’d been outside.

As it is, the words are for her alone, and for now?

That’s just fine.

What kinda feelings?

A LOT, ACTUALLY. Like I said before, the RTNY group was telling me to skip it because it wasn’t a good season, and I want to express how much I wanted to just form my own opinion, only to end up agreeing with them in the end. Let me break this down as best as I can now that I am on my PC. I mean no disrespect to the director and writer, as well as the cast and crew. Honestly, I’m worried that my opinion makes me feel like a boomer at this point.

First off, if anyone was going to tell me that I’m going to have headaches over bright flashing lights and colors over a Red vs Blue series, I wouldn’t have believed you. As I said before, they should’ve just called this “Red vs Blue: Epilepsy Warning THE M0VIE”. I understand that they are using the Unreal Engine, because my god the graphics on this is INSANE. But everything is...too bright. TOO. BRIGHT. Everything has a lens flare no matter where the camera turns, and with the high paced action, all the lights and colors, it HURTS.

Next, this is a fully CG-animated season. We haven’t had one like that in SUCH a long time, and this is the first in the 20-ish years of Red vs BLue. When I was a kid who didn’t have a cellphone, I could only imagine what Red vs Blue was like when my best friend would play it over our landline on a weeknight before we would go to school the next day. And I would come over and be like, HOLY SHIT. IS THIS FUCKING HALO?! So imagine my excitement when after 8 years of Red vs Blue using Halo 1 to Halo 3 assets, you see a Warthog just crash through the walls of Valhalla, something you’d never see in a Halo game. A fully animated scene of Grif running over Washington (hell yeah), and an angry Washington outside of his game model just climbing onto the hood of the car and shooting at Grif through the windshield at pointblank range. Then cut to episode 10 of the same season, Tex makes her triumphant return, fully animated instead of her Halo 3 game model. And in the last two episodes of the season, you get OUR VERY FIRST FREELANCER VS FREELANCER FIGHT. You find out this was the work of the late Monty Oum (rest in peace), and until Season 10, Red vs Blue was THE HIGHEST POINT OF YOUR FUCKING LIFE.

Then we go to Season 12 where the animation post Oum (he was working on RWBY at this point but iirc this was just before he died) was choppy at best and didn’t feel right until Season 13, where within the one year the animation team REALLY stepped up. And this actually carries over into Season 17, Singularity, where it became more animation and less game effects, or rather it was balanced. It wasn’t extravegant like Oum’s works, but given that these are the Simtroopers, some Freelancers, some Mercs, and time gods, it felt par for the course. It felt right.

We cut now to these upgraded graphics, which felt like when you were playing on your Xbox 360 and you jsut FUCKING SHOT into the Xbox One. It was, as you would say, unreal (lol). But it felt...off. The first two episodes, the entire action didn’t feel like what you spent 16 seasons watching. It felt like a whole another beast entirely. With the use of super powers, you would think oh the Freelancers had that! Yes, but those were all suit enhancements. These...didn’t feel like it. Zero’s and Phase’s teleportation didn’t feel like something that Fragmented AI can control. Shatter Squad’s at least felt more at home.

The models themselves were a bit off too. Choppy at best, but understandable given that they were using the Unreal Engine. But you notice that they do a lot of hand on hip pushed out to the side type of thing a lot? Everyone does it. Except Raymond, West, and the big dude. Like the SASSY STANCE. Also, there was way too much power stance. Where if your feet were shoulder width apart, it was a bit wider, and also the pelvis was out a little more. A bit weird. Finally, everyone has an ass. Everyone. Even West. West has an ass, it was like, everyone was dummy thicc and the clap of their ass cheeks was alerting Viper.

Next, voice acting. I...absoultely could not stand the voice acting. It was completely over the top, overdramatic, over exaggerated. Granted, I’m a singer, a perform, but I’m not exactly a good actor myself in the few shows I’ve actually done. It felt like watching an anime. When you wtach something with dialogue of your own language, you can tell when you feel something is to over the top. If you watch something of a language you don’t speak, it’ll go over your head, unless you start to speak that language, and you speak to people who speak that language, then you start to pick up what is regular speaking and what is acting. When an anime gets dubbed, most times, the voice actors tend to over dramatacize in the same way the Japanese due, and some times it works, most times it doesn’t. This is because the Japanese way of acting comes from kabuki theater. When English dubbers do that with this weird over emphasized emotions, it is extremely offputting.

In some places, the voice acting is poorly done. Jen Brown’s performance from just getting out of a hospital to giving an expositional lecture about the new cast in literally 5 seconds of time was...off. Carolina should’ve had more time to recover, especailly after losing Washington, one of her closest surrogate family, she felt...a little too calm and normal. Not like the Carolina who was hesitant but trying her best to be a whole better person (see the Paradox Arc, S15-17). It was jsut quick shift, and now she’s making snarky remarks in that Jen Brown voice she does (my god step on me please) and also being a mother hen. Also, she really calls Washington David way more this season than she ever did before that.

Fiona’s performance was shaky at best in my opinion, I don’t know her very well outside of what everyone says. All I know is that sometimes, the way she emphasizes some of her lines don’t fit the situation very well. I think East/Phase was a lot better done than One imo. But she was mostly angry and competitive.

Raymond is the textbook definition of what I hate about taking a character’s role and making it their entire personality. Think of it like watching Power Rangers, and all of their roles is just defined by the shit they say. Jason is the jock, Kimberly is the pretty girl, Trini is......I’m not gonna lie, I don’t...know what to classify Trini, Zack was the cool guy, and Billy was the nerd (Tommy was Jock II also the rebel/loner). Raymond reminded me a lot like Billy, where Billy was defined by being so smart, half of his dialogue was just look at me, i’m fucking smart, let me use all of these big words. Half of Raymond’s dialogue was, look at me, i’m the tech guy, I’m nerdy and loveable, it felt like it was too over the top of trying to stand out. By the end of the season, after East’s big reveal, I started to like him a lot more because he knew what was more at stake. I want to say that my initial impression of him was immature at best.

West was too stiff. Just.. Too stiff. I get he’s old. But show some emotion, please.

Why am I emphasizing on this more? When you listen to the dialogue of RvB, and then you listen at this, even with the return cast of Carolina, Washington, and Tucker, the direction was different. I think it’s because of the new medium with Zero being all super animated like an action, where RvB was just a bunch of net videos that you’re gonna laugh at with well timed jokes. It was super casual, but also super real. Geoff and Gus and everyone else aren’t big actors or anything, but that’s what made it feel real. That’s what made RvB feel like its own thing.

In terms of writing, I get that this is RvB meets FnF (Fast and Furious). But I honestly feel that it doens’t belong. The story of Shatter Squad vs Viper would have been a lot better if it didn’t have the RvB name tacked on. It’s such a cool concept, but given what RvB was before, the tonal shift is jsut too great, especially when you only have 3 of the previous cast returning.

Speaking of, what happened to Tucker?! What happened to the guy who became a leader? Responsible? Not as arrogant? Maybe playfully arrogant at best, but not stroking his ego? What happened to HIS SWORD? Did they forget how Tucker’s sword works? That it only works IF HE DIES? Tucker didn’t die, and yet Phase was able to use his sword (which by the way is now hers). One of the earliest stories/gags of RvB and they just...retconned it and threw it away! Also, Tucker’s voice acting did NOT match the scene at all. It’s like watching a video game that was localized from Japanese, and the dubbers spoke too fast before the character could finish. Tucker moves outside of his dialogue and there is this weird seconds of silence. That...that was just a BAD return for him.

My final thought is that, if RvB Zero is not...the RvB I grew up with. Maybe the jokes are dated, but the memories of what RvB was is still real. This just...doesn’t feel like RvB anymore. This should have just been it’s own show, it’s own story, replace Wash and Carolina and Tucker with new characters, it just wasn’t their place to be in this.

The only thing I liked about this? I’m glad Danielle (I’m assuming this is how you would spell her name) didn’t go AWOL and returned to the team. I actually really liked her the most next to Axel. She was done dirty, but she still held on to that one bond she had as East that Zero didn’t give her as Phase.

I know this is probably not a great opinion, and I really hope that Rooster Teeth finds the ground they want this series to go in. Sometimes, you have to try new things, or else staying stagnant will make it go stale. It’s all about trial and error. I don’t know how everyone else feels about Zero, how the new audience and the old audience feels. RvB as a whole wasn’t perfect. They had their down moments. But when you feel that way for an entire season...it’s a problem.

Loud House Season 5 Catchup (Blinded by Science, Band Together, Season’s Cheatings, A Flipmas Carol) or Of Mutants, Medicority, Merryment and Money

Merry Christmas everybody! And it’s Christmas Week so expect christmas out the jingle jangle for the next few days. And starting us off is something long overdue as coverage of the Loud House FINALLY resumes just in time for christmas. Yes it’s been over a month since the last episode and while i’ve covered two holiday episodes since then, I haven’t gotten back to season 4 despite, like Ducktales and Amphibia, it being on my roster. The answer why: I had a ton of comissions coming in, and other projects going on including ducktales coverage, so I kept putting off banned together/blinded by science for weeks.. until they coldied right into Season’s Cheatings and a flipmas carol. So yeah this one’s way too late and I will TRY not to have this happen again. I can’t promise they’ll be same day of or right on time as unlike Disney and Cartoon Network who are really good about putting their stuff on the app same day or that morning or streaming services which I own so.. yeah, Nick likes to take their sweet time sometimes and isn’t as steady with their release schedule. It’s why I ended up deciding not to do regular coverage of the casagrandes, though don’t be suprise if it shows up here on occasion as I sitll like it quite a bit. Nick is just a pain in the ass to deal with. Point is it’s here now and in time for the holiday season so i’ve delayed this long enough. Let’s get back to Season 5 after the cut

Blinded by Science:

So yeah... i’m just going to say it.. this season.. has been fucking weird.

I mean sure there’s been plenty of normal episodes: The Boss Maybe, Strife of the Party, Kernel of Truth, Banned Together, Season’s Cheatings. There are more normal standard Loud House episodes than the weird ones... but that just makes out how looney some episodes have gotten stick out MORE. I mean among episodes tackling Leni struggling to step into Lori’s true, an obnoxious party despute, a news antics episode, Luna dealing with her career, and a holiday shenanigans episodes.. we’ve also had Lincoln get shipped off to Canada for an episode, Lincoln thwart a supervillian plot, Lori learning her school has a friendly ghost caddy that everyone who goes there knows and just accepts like that’s a normal thing, and with two of today’s episodes, Flip being some kind of monsterious miracle of science or possibly having an x gene we don’t know and then being visted by the ghosts of christmas past, present and future, who for no explained reason look and act like Lisa, Lincoln, Clyde and Lucy.

I mean I can stretch disbelief for a lot of cartoons and i’m fine with it. Lisa does it pretty much on concept. But stretching things a bit for a joke is fine.. but it’s gotten to the point where the plots have gone from grounded slice of life stuff to really weird high concept stuff and it’s really hard to tell if this is going to work or not as Schooled and Family Bonding were not great, especially the latter, Ghosted was pretty good, Flipmas Carol was okay and this one... is decent. So it’s two good, two bad and one neutral. It’l take smore more episodes to see if this is a good thing or not.. I was leaning toward not before this block, but it’s very clear by the fact multiple writers have done this and the one whose done this the most wrote normal episodes last season, that this is an overall creative decision and thus something ‘im just going to have to live with. And hey, it gives me more material to work with so there you go. So yeah let’s actually talk about this episode: Lisa is scrambling because she has a presentation at a big science convention, but doesn’t have any new discoveries to report. She does have snakebird though, which is exactly what it sounds like and exactly as delightful. Everyone should have one of those I don’t know how this isn’t worth presenting. Just put snakebird in hat. Lincoln comes to help because Rita heard snakebird and wanted to make sure lily was okay, and all he’s doing is taking her for a ride so it’s fine. Snakebird should be a part of my a different world style spinoff I’m just saying. Or with Stella.. I have a lot of spinoff ideas and only one of them has gotten a cease and desist from viacom so that’s progress!

Point is Lincoln ends up being a very good big brother and takes her to flips for a flippee as that usually helps him think. He also crouchs down adorably to reach her height at one point.

Like it’s jsut really precious to see that. It also does something the show does at it’s best: Weave the other siblings into each others plots organically. Lately they haven’t been as good at that with some exceptions and while it’s fine to have a few episodes where the rest of the family isn’t involved it is weird to just sorta.. cordon off 11 of our leads instead of giving them their own unique dynamics with each other. And while I do think Lincoln gets way to much of the spotlight at times, and his episodes have not been the best this season, I do think he works perfectly here: He’s the one with the most history with flips, so his role he ends up taking in the plot make sense, and him taking a big brother role and taking her down there is really adorable. It’s honestly easy to forget sometimes since half his sisters outage and outrank him by a lot that LIncoln has some authority and brotherly duty himself but when it crops up it’s really nice to see.

But yeah while Lincoln’s gesture was nice it does nothing to help. But what does is Flip himself. Honestly before these episodes i’d barely seen Flip and he’s alright. He’s not bad it’s just with this having happened just a few years ago

So i’ts really hard for him to stand out in comparison when he’s kind of generic. He’s still pretty damn loveable though. And this episode has as he drops a drum of cheese on his foot, it does nothing, eats cheese right out of the barrel which..

I mean at least have some sanitary standards man. Get a bowl or put it in a bathtub or something. Figure it out. But yeah it turns out his heart is also in his arm, literally on his sleeve.. something they don’t point out so it’s a subtle and well done joke.

Anyways yeah... so this is where the weird stuff comes in. Flip is some sort of miracle of science despite in all other episodes clearly being a normal human, And I like it.. while some bits of it are gross, i’m not a gross out guy so if you like that it’ll be up your ally and I respect that. But for the most part it’s just weird, bizzare stuff I can’t help but chuckle at like Flip having gills on his leg or being able to surivive freezing tempratures while not moving at all. See this works better than the spy episode in terms of what the fuck or to a lesser extent schooled because while it is fucking bizzare.. it works and it’s just swining so hard for the fences, it hits the moon. With the other two one didn’t bring it up till the end and the other just.. suddenly annoucned Royal Woods is next to canada and that lincoln taking a boat there was feasable. This just works for me. So Lisa takes him to the conference, with Lincoln and Clyde joining in to serve snacks and promote the food and fuel which works, I also like the gag about them being late because they argued about what Science Casual meant. Lisa shows off this monstrosity and gets praise.. and a shady scientist asking if she can use flip for her experiments which lisa talks him into and Flip agrees to because, like his agreeing to lisa’s experiments he likes money and tasks the boys with running things. Naturally handing a miracle of science over to a shady science lady you know nothing about backfires and lisa trying to search incognito labs just blows up the computer.. somehow. Don’t think too hard about it. But LIsa finds lily petting a rat and soon finds the rat comes from flip begging for help. And upon spying on the lab, Lisa finds that flip is basically being tourtured and feels she did no better which.. no. While she did use him as a test subject, she also did so with his full consent, and for free publicity. She didn’t harm flip as while she subjected him to a lot of crap NONE of it harmed him like Ingognito’s experiments are. This attempt at a moral dosen’t work when Lisa , while still seeing only flip for his achivments, did nothing unethical. Flip willingly signed on for this and was never once in danger. And look medical trials can be unethical epsecially when people are deseperate. I get that. But here Lisa did nothing wrong and given her usual tendency to ignore scientetific ethics, that’s a lot. Lisa goes to the boys for help and together they all sneak in and free flip in a decent sequence using various stuff from flips. The doctor for her part, as she was planning to shoot flip up into space without a suit to see if he could surivive because evil, gets blasted up. So yeah.. this episode ended with a 4 year old, an old man whose apparently a mutant of some kind x-men or otherwise and two 12 year olds having killed a woman.

And then they all just.. have flippees for aj ob well done. I mean yes the lady deserved it but still.. you all just killed someone! YOU SHOULDN’T BE ACCEPTING THIS. WHAT JUST HAPPENED. AND WHY DOSEN’T SNAKEBIRD HAVE HIS OWN MOVIE. EPISODE OVER.

Final Thoughts on Blinded By Science: This one was okay. Insane, VERY insane, but okay. I’ve seen way worse, from this very season but man is it weird and man is that ending just...

Yeah that takes it down a bit but overall really enjoyed this one, Moving on. Real behind and got four to go so

Band Together: I think I have one of my many reaction images that says it best here:

Given i’ve seen pretty much every Luna episode, she’s my faviorite and i’ve been blatant about that, and all of them are pretty good, I had high hopes for this one. And it STARTS promisingly enough: Luna is rocking out with her band which finally has a name! The Moon Goats. Which I like a lot: Besides reminding me of the objectively awesome Mountain Goats, it fits thehir personality and also reminds me of fellow teenage garage band goat cheese pizza from Zits... I miss when that strip was about teenagers and not two old men yelling about teenagers. Metaphorically. Point is I like this and my recent scott pilgrim kick means this is even better. We also find out Scoots is a huge fan of the band. Which is fantastic. Why an old lady with questionable morals is their biggest fan I do not know. We also get a band prank and fully names for the other two: Sully, the guy and Mazy the girl. I mean their not given MUCH character, Sully likes to bash his head on the keyboard and Mazy is uh there. And that is one of the episodes downsides: Despite being the first episode with Luna’s band to NOT focus on just Sam... the rest of them, and Sam really get to do nothing. The fact Sam and Luna are together dosen’t even factor into the plot. I honestly think it’s what removes the episodes punch, that we don’t KNOW these characters and thus LUna posisbly leaving them behind has no weight. In contrast the series actually did something similar with little build up but made it work with the episode where Leni’s friends are trying to make her choose between them: Her mall coworker friends or her school friends. While we didn’t KNOW her school friends like the mall ones, the episode took time buliding them up so we got why Leni loved both and why this was so unfair to make her choose between them. Here it’s just two well designed carboards and a sam. And without the stakes of it possibly impacting Luna’s relationship, which I don’t want obviously but at least we have a stake in at this point, there’s just.. not a lot. Plus the solutions kind of obvious. But what’s the problem? The band performs for a big manager who only needs Luna to fill in for a professional band. The IDEA as i’ve said is good: LUna being forced to pick between her friends and her career, and both sides not being happy about it. But it’s just.. wasted. Besides clearly being bigger than 30 minutes, apparently we needed the half hour slot for a caddy ghost, this story just feels slight. Luna ends up with the other band and the manager gets on her for acting like she does with her friends.. but she’s a 16 year old who dosen’t know any better. What’d you possibly expect? none of it just really works. She goes back, no one is suprised, and the only part that really works at all.. is the ending. After welcoming luna back , as their roadie at first and clearly it’s more of a joke, Chunk plays with the band and gets Luna’s spot. THAT is not a bad ending and while I”ll miss the big lug, it’s really nice to see the guy get a big break and Chunk is low key one of my faviorite parts of the show. But otherwise yeah, this was almost nothing and given how usually FANTASTIC the Luna episodes are, this one was a really huge disapointment. No need for final thoughts moving on.

Seasons Cheatings: This is a quick one but only because there’s no real character stuff or bad parts, i’ts just a decent if contrived holiday episodes. It’s the annual family gift swap, and Lincoln wants a backpack for (insert thing he likes #37). That being said I DO like that Lincoln isn’t just into one thing obession wise as even with my tendency to hyperfocus due to my autisim, I have TONS of things I love and glom onto. YOu can tell just by my massive assortment of reaction images and quotes. So it’s nice for a show to for once NOT have a nerdy kid just have one hero they focus on. So it’s rip hardcore this time, with a fancy backpack. Why Lincoln didn’t just ask for it for christmas is beyond me and is the only thing that bothers me about the episode. Ohterwise i’ts pretty decent; LIncoln’s trying to cheat his way to victory by getting the right sister for the swap. Which really ends up boiling down to first LIly, since the parents will choose, but since LIly did her own gift this year, he then tries one of the older sisters since obviously, they actually take this seriously and have the money to get something nice with various shenanigans including lincoln dressing up like his own mother. Neat. It’s nothing amazing but it is neat.

Naturally he forgets his own, and has to trade his gift to Chandler to get Lola a nice gift in time. Also Chandler is apparently Lincoln’s black market hookup ala hustler kid. I genuinely love everything about this from the fact it fits his character, to the fact him being rich means there’s a genuine way he can get the resources, to the fact that despite being rich and probably not needing to do this it still fits he’d do it anyway because he’s kind of a scamp. If they use Chandler more like this, as Lincoln’s sorta shady frienemy who Lincoln and Co and possibly the sisters go to for shady schemes and crookery, i’ll be fully on board with it. Plus it might finally squeeze liam out of the group and give us someone willing to hit rusty. So all good things.

But we do get a REALLY sweet ending as Lily, having seen her big brudder sad, paints him a picture. We also get the sweet image up top of LIsa and Lucy having given each other the same gift. Overall not a bad episode. Not nearly as good chirstmas story wise as 11 louds a leapin, but with a shorter runtime and a tight premise it still works and is still very sweet.

A Flipmas Carol: Another very simple but alirght one.. and ANOTHER flip episode. And another one I can speed through a bit more. Basically it’s the night before christmas and Flip is taking advantage of the neighborhoods desperation with shoddy merchandise.. and forcing Lynn to work off the debt for some accidnetal damage on christmas eve and day. I mean she is legally of working age so this is legal but it’s still sketchy. Which is Flip’s wheelhouse. Naturally this leads to a christmas Carol Parody and the weird part as the ghosts resemble and act like the loud kids> This is never explained, it’s really weird especially since Clyde ghost refrences his therapist.. but given the louds were in there and are in there enough for Flip to know them well, same with the mcbrydes, it easily could be a guilt induced hallucination or simply the ghosts taking a familiar form so i’m not going to dicker over it. It’s weird but you know not sudden super spies, golf ghosts or childrne comitting murders weird and as I mentioned up top, holiday episodes get a little more leway with me in terms of weird shit. not by a lot but by just enough.

So they take him through what you’d expect: The Past gives Flip a sympethatic and well done origin story: Flip had a date with the girl of his dreams, but lost out due to a comination of Scoots selling him bad goods and bad tickets in middle school and vowed never to be hurt again barney stinson styles. The present shows him the consequenceds of his actions on other people’s christmas including whatever he gave the louds to make christmas dinner having turned into some form of abomination, causing him to actually feel guilt. The final one shows him having died, buired alone with no one to care in a ditch with a pizza box and having lost everything due to his practices. It ends how you’d expect, he goes to eveyrones houses and fixes things before giving the loud kids present and clearing lynn’s deabt before that happens. Not much to really dig into here, just a pretty good specail. Both of the christmas episodes are good, and while again not as good as the first one aren’t bad themselve.s

So yeah overall this crop was okay. No real standouts, but outside of Band Together nothing bad and even that had extra scoots, luna’s band getting a name and that cheeks suish. All in all not a bad batch feels good to be caught up. Until next time courage.

Okay so the first time the two of you met you did not care for Tanaka, you thought that he was loud and a showoff. He was at the bar and was being loud with his friends and you couldn’t help but roll your eyes at the loud man. The next time you see him though he smiles at you and properly introduces himself and you can tell that he is actually a sweet guy who wants to meet you, so you two end up getting dinner together after a long day and he pays and is a super gentleman towards you. I think that he just rests his elbows on the tables and just cups his chin in his hands and watches as you tell him everything about your day. He pays attention to every word but remembers none of it, all he can think about is how pretty you are. When you two go out you are both extraverts and you just are really fun and sweet to everyone around you and just you both also take care of each other oh my gosh

He is going to bring you lunch at work on stressful days, or give you massages and cuddles and he also makes sure to take care of you all the time and then you will catch him putting himself last and then you have to remind him that he also needs to be eating and taking care of himself otherwise he is going to fall behind

Tanaka is like a big bear of cuddles like when he gets home his hands are always on you and always doing something affectionate, he loves to have his hands in yours or on your thighs and just mindlessly rub his thumb up and down your body as you two talk about your day (he asks every single day)

He loves that you are such a mom friend like he will joke with you about it but he really appreciates when you make him do things like put on bug spray because he will forget and then get eaten alive if you aren’t looking out for him

He also is super sweet and is a Gryffindor but loves that you are a Ravenclaw like he thinks that that makes you the smartest person ever like he will ask you random trivia questions all the time like he is going to ask if you know how many eggs a chicken lays in a day and if you ever actually know he is going to be so proud and just cheer for you forever like he is going to cheer for you so much

If you don’t know (which is very common, who knows what color grape seeds are!?!?) he is going to be understanding and laughing because he didn’t know either but he always tells you that he knows that you are going to get the next one

He loves to tuck you in on the couch like even if you are cuddling he is grabbing you a blanket and an extra pillow just in care and he is super sweet like he gives you tons of kisses and sweet-talking as you lay next to him, sometimes he thinks that you are so cute. Sometimes he gets jealous of how comfortable you get and will climb under the blanket and lay on top of you as he kisses you over and over before falling asleep on top of you just laughing and talking with you about any and everything

He loves your goofy side so much like he really thinks that you are adorable and he wants to cherish you forever like you really are the first girl to really ever make him laugh like that and he jsut adores it so much

He loves how protective you can get like when you stand up for him and tell him things like “you’re mine babe” (in reasonable cases like don’t go crazy but he loves that you hold on to him like that and you care for him) and he thinks that you are so sweet when you get defensive of him like he really just smiles at you kisses your forehead as he smiles

He is so cute with you like he is going to send you pictures of things all the time because he thinks that you will find them pretty like Tanaka would never stop and take a picture of a trashcan on the street but there was a little penguin sticker and he knew you would think it was cute so there he was taking a picture of a trashcan for you

The two of you have the happiest smiles ever like the two of you light up a room together like it is so cute like people adore your smiles and find the two of you absolute delights to be around and your friends love you guys like you have such a happy and inviting home together and people just want to come inside and see you guys all the time so you are rarely bored together

Battle Scars

Hey everyone, a cheesy little ficlet mainly for me, but y’all can read it too, I hope other people can get something out of this as well.

Basically, like, a universe where the Company is transported to modern day, and like, you’re helping them trying to find a way back home. You’re a modern day person and all that good stuff. Very road-trip fun.

Trigger Warning (Self-harm)

So basically, like, a comfort story, when they find out that you have self-harm scars.

Words: 909 (short for me)

“I’ve got a scar twice as big as that on my elbow, brother.”

“I know, I gave you that one.”

“Best birthday gift I ever had.” Kili reminisced while leaning back into his chair. Fili copied his actions, looking at the ceiling.

“You two know nothing of scars.” Dwalin shifted in his seat, “I’ve got some on my-”

“You’d do well to remember that there is a lady present.” Balin interrupted before he continued. You pretended not to hear, and took a sip of your coffee.

The group was at a diner at 3 am. Perhaps not the most ideal, but then again, neither was an entire company of dwarves, a hobbit, and a wizard being transported in your world. Well, you just had to help them didn’t you? Not only that, you wanted to, to get away. Plus, they’d just seemed so desperate.

Your travels had lead you all across the state, and you’d completely forgotten about your normal life, your past, all that. You’d left everything behind, in your head you said it was for the greater good, but at the same time, you were somewhat glad. Sometimes it’s good to disappear.

So, here you were, disappearing into a crowd of Tolkein creations all huddled around 3 shoved together tables at a diner, with two beleaguered waitresses and one cook attempting to satisfy all their needs at once. Gandalf had to remind Bilbo to not get up and politely offer to help them. If anyone knew how much of a handful they were, it was the hobbit sitting across from you at the head of the table.

Bilbo gave you a look from across the table. Both of you wished that this conversation would be over.

“I got a bunch of burn scars from my apprenticeship.” Nori chimed in.

“A sign of hard work, that is.” Oin said, before slugging down an entire bottle of beer. You forgot that diners even had beer.

“I’ve only got one scar.” Ori said disappointedly.

“I’ve got a good three on me, the dwarrowdams don’t seem to mind though.” Bofur winked, though at who, you didn’t know.

“That’s quite enough about scars.” Thorin interrupted, setting down his glass of orange juice menacingly. You didn’t have the heart to tell him that that wasn’t actually a drink of honor in America. There was a silence.

“Besides, I’ve got the most anyway.” The cheer began again. Thorin almost never showed his silly side, but even he was in good spirits tonight. Gandalf jsut watched, amused.

“Bilbo,” you said, eager to find someone to relate to in all this ruckus, “how many have you got?” you asked sarcastically. The table erupted into chuckles.

“Actually, I did get one from a knife. Right here.” He held up his ring finger, revealing a glassy line across his joint. Everyone only laughed even harder, and Bofur patted Bilbo on the back. Even Bilbo was in a joking mood now.

“Yourself, (y/n)?” Everyone at the table turned eagerly to you.

You shrugged.

“Haven’t got any.”

“Come on (y/n), we’ve seen ‘em. No need to be modest.” Fili was trying to be friendly, but it definitely didn’t hit that way.

“What do you mean?”

“He’s correct, you’ve got quite a nasty number on your (body part).” Bilbo too.

“Oh, those, yeah, I guess I do.”

“Well?” Bofur peaked his head out from the rest of the dwarves at the end of the table.

“Well what?” Everyone groaned.

“How’d they happen?” Dwalin shouted from the other end.

“Was it a battle?” Ori asked.

“You idiot, they don’t have battles here.” Nori slapped him up the head.

“They’ve got fights though.” Kili submitted.

“No, not that.” You shook your head.

“Perhaps an incident in the kitchen?” Thorin looked at you intensely.

“Nope.”

“An animal fight.” Bilbo.

“Nope.”

“Bad fall.” Balin.

“Wrong again.”

“Perhaps, my friends, the scars and the incident that caused them are private to Miss (y/n).”

“No, no, it’s fine. I can tell you all the story.” Everyone turned back to you again. Shit, you had not thought this through.

“Well, uh, it was in a battle. With this, um, evil entity. No one really knows its name, or where it comes from. But a lot of people fight it.”

“What kind of enemy harms people in that way?” Gloin spoke for the first time.

“Well, see, that’s the thing. It doesn’t fight you directly, most of the time. More often than not, it psychologically manipulates you, makes you believe certain things or act a certain way, and a lot of the times, people just can’t help themselves. And sometimes, it gives you scars.”

“Well, did you win?” Dwalin was always the most bellicose.

“Me, personally? Still working on it. You never know when it comes around. And, it’s very, very hard to defeat. A lot of people are probably currently fighting one as we speak.”

“Must be a hell of a creature.” Fili took a swig of his drink.

“Sure is. But we’re also damn good fighters.” You didn’t know where that last part came from, but you felt a swelling in your heart and it just came out.

“I’ll drink to that.” Thorin held up his orange juice. Everyone around the table all put their glasses in the middle, before leaning their head back and chugging for all that their life was worth, yourself included.

Moods were high until the waitress came by asking for the check.

How strictly do you follow canon? — I follow enough canon to not change the plot, but its very VERY lore heavy. and it diverges post game as well. Not to mention there are some discrepancies with my Link as well. namely his eye colour. his personality is BIT more jaded than canon. but then again, he is a character that is ( in theory ) YOU. so its how YOU play the game.

SELL YOUR MUSE! Aka try to list everything, which makes your muse interesting in your opinion to make them spicy for your mutuals. — i mean. idk im not really a sellout in general....?? he’s... extremely interesting in the fact that you have a tired man(tm) who’s just about done with the world at such a young age. he’s the hero of hyrule, and has done many feats. he has interesting stories to tell. and he’s not at all a boring person. he’s a bit quirky, has a fan-base, and overall, who WOULDN’T want to interact with link? i mean its LINK. after all... not to mention that he’s not really PREDICTABLE for the most part. I mean he is kind of but also not at all. I just??? i think a lot of people find him interesting? he’s also very attentive at times. you literally have to throw a rock and he will look your direction.

Now the OPPOSITE, list everything why your muse could not be so interesting (even if you may not agree, what does the fandom perhaps think?). — he is a selective mute. he WILL not talk. he will not approach you. you HAVE to approach him.... while he tends to be ‘OP’ he really isn’t. he’s still very much a human, and will react as such. its very hard to approach cause he has that ‘intimidating feel’ and lets not forget that he really does straight up ignore people if hey dont say anything to him. in that aspect it’s hard to interact with him. because its not like he ‘tunnel visions’ but he just wont pay attention to you if there is nothing to pay attention to.

What inspired you to rp your muse? — he’s been a muse for me since 2012. just always put on the backburner for a reason. but really? link was the ONE character that I could relate to. he was my go to guy. really. in high school, i struggled with friends and a lot of other things. but i pushed through. and honestly. link was ALWAYS a character that i turned to for that. it happened with Skyward Sword as well. when BOTW came out it was the same way. BOTW was my go to game in college because of link. so when i finally gt the wiiu version and started playing TP again, i was like. YEP im making him again. cause yes. the themes in TP are all themes that are right up my alley too. so of course i am going to find inspiration there. I ALSO found inspiration when i found some celtic music as well. I listen to msic when i write my replies. and when i was writing a reply on another blog. i found some celtic music and i just had THAT MOOD.

What keeps your inspiration going? — the game. celtic music. honestly art. vines. anythign that reminds me of TP Link keeps me going. some of the interactions i have keep me going. the PLOTS i have keep me going.

Are you confident in your portrayal? YES / NO ( link is the ONE muse i never EVER lose confidence in. which is why he is such a strong character for me. link is me. straight up. and i think somebody asked me that too. he’s NOT a self insert but. i can relate SO much to him in so many ways. but i love the way i portray him cause he is very unique. i just hope that my confidence doesn’t SCARE duplicates and other people cause i would never want people to be intimidated by THIS fact that i am confident. )

Are you confident in your writing? YES / NO. ( lol yea. honestly i love to write. though my style always changed and sometimes i worry about that. cause sometimes i have prose and sometimes i dont. but im an adaptable writer which i always loved about myself. )

Are you a sensitive person? YES / NO. ( yea. both. i am both. im sensitive ooc but want to say shit about my portrayal. i don’t really care. say shit about me, and then i get upset and sad. )

Do you accept criticism well about your portrayal? — depends n the criticism. I say this all the time. theres constructive criticism. and then theres. just plain hate. I accept anything thats constructive. I want to know what i need to work on or what people would want to see. link is an ever-changing muse. i learn and grow and i will take anything thats told to me nicely without the hate.

Do you like questions, which help you explore your character? — PLEASE. jsut send them my way i LOVE all the questions and character development. you dont even have to be a mutual for that.

If someone disagrees to a headcanon of yours, do you want to know why? — yes and no. i mean its my HC. you are allowed to disagree with my HC. hoenstly. thats the beauty of INTERPRETATIONS. i dont expect every TP link out there to agree with all of my HCs. so long as we can all be mature adults about it and talk normally with one another. we gucci. like we are allowed to have different HCs. and honestly. I would want to know because i would want to know what YOU think about the ‘canon.’ cause it’s different. i like those differences.

If someone disagrees with your portrayal, how would you take it? — idk why they would? its link? its the protag. and in a way its supposed to be different for each person anyway??? its like taking Robin or Corrin from FE. like people are allwoed to disagree with the portrayal i GUESS? but i don’t understand why anybody would like stragiht up HATE the portrayal. its just different? idk.

If someone really hates your character, how do you take it? — see above tbh. but honestly. depends. do you hate him for the portrayal. or do you hate him cause of his character personality. like you’re allowed to interact with ‘bad’ characters. not that i think anybody would HATE link? but you know i could be wrong??? idk how to answer this cause what do you mean by hate? you can hate a character. but still interact with them??? idk how to compute this question???

Are you okay with people pointing out your grammatical errors? — yes and no. honestly. i know i make mistakes. but i don’t want grammar nazi’s. i write to relax. the only time i would want people to tell me is if they were trying to figure out what i meant. does that make sense. like if they are confused on something. then its okay to tell me. otherwise if its something that is just a small mistake that you can ignore. then its no big deal. its also how you approach me too. like approach with caution. i am a delicate flower. so don’t attack me for making a mistake.

Do you think you are easy going as a mun? — i am VERY VERY easygoing!!! I want to say im VERY kind. i am very accepting and EXTREMELY FORGIVING. no joke. I want to be the kindest person out there. I dont want people to be intimidated by me. I don’t want people to be scared of hurt by me. hoenstly. I am a very nice person. I may have different opinions but i am VERY respectful to everybody even those i do not agree with. Nobody should ever feel weird about me like ever okay? please don’t. I never want bad blood. so if something ever happens between us. you are always ALWAYS more than welcome to come talk to me when emotions have fizzled out. I am very apologetic too. so like?? idk??? who would???? consider me??? and asshole??? im tired. and i shut my door fast but its mainly cause... i am tired. nothing else has to do with it. i am very excitable and happy for people who talk to me. i consider ANYBODY who talks to me a friend. im jsut??? no really. i know people are shy. but im over her a big tired ball of fluff. i only want love and happiness for people. anybody who’s talked to me can testify to this. ♥♥
