what if i wanted to make another insane promo post?

yeah, ik, its promo time again. BUT this time around i do wanna add in the post both my cousin and niece

one thing i did get wrong, heartz is my niece, starz is my cousin! this will basically be going over what each of these 2 do (...and im also adding in a bonus competitor/promoed person, well actually 2 because I GOT A CHANNEL YIPPEE)

each channel will be seperated up so yeah lets go!

first channel:

Starzzz.andgalaxy (my actual cousin, lol) is a great yter who absolutely deserves to be celebrating more then just 170 subs! since shes actually here with me, i can let her say a lil something on the matter:

shes very very fun (and also with this i hope all the god damn hate comments shut lol) and does very cool things such as:

Roblox videos

(comment is from me lol, we'll get there soon) For right now these are just rating videos of her avatar, but I find them very fun (plus since I play roblox if needed I can help with filming lol)! Not much to say on it cause it's not a common kind of post, so onto the next form, which is:

2. Art

As you can see, she does very cool art, this one in particular is a tutorial on how to draw bodies. Is it the best? No, but the fact she's trying makes it great! (this is also where I've seen a couple hate comments come up, so yeah, I'm trying to be mature enough to not commit violence for her upon them) She does admit this video isn't her best work, but she does A LOT of very very cool drawings! Go check them out and her channel of course! There is one thing she also posts about which I love most of all...

3. Paper Dragons!!

(the first image is her first dragon, second is her most recent i think) I don't get how these things are "paper furries", but I do know THEY ARE SICK AS FUCK. I got to see one in person and they're very cool, all with different stories! I honestly wanna ask for one but right now, I'm gonna stick with watching them.

Second channel:

Heartzzz.❤️ is my niece, and she does similar content, but still does good content! A couple of videos of Starz and Heartz are them promoting each other, so yeah. While she is on vacation and can't be here to give her reasons to subscribe to you, I certainly can!

Memes

One thing I forgot to mention my cousin doing (well, actually my cousin's section is just kinda old because it's from when she last came over, but she's back to help me again, yay!) is making memes like this. Sometimes they do involve a paper dragon, but I think they're pretty funny and/or relatable (also dragons very cool)!

2. Edits (and Undertale related things)

I'm putting these 2 in the same category just because of the example image above. While my cousin has recently started doing edits, Heartz is the only 1 of the 2 to make anything Undertale related. While the Undertale stuff comes once every blue moon it seems, that doesn't make it any less enjoyable.

One of them has really been getting into animation, posting things like ball loops and such on their account. They're very interesting to watch personally!

2. Cool places

I'm not sure if this is going to be a common theme, but there is around 3-4 videos of places like this one. I have to admit, this has to be the prettiest of them all.

3. Art (+FNAF/Five Nights at Freddy's Content)

This is another one grouped together, but because this is the first drawing related one I've seen. They're very big FNAF fans, of course leading to things like this. Is it the best? No, but they tried very hard of course, and maybe you could leave some tips for them to improve with!

yeah, i have a youtube now, and there's like nothing on it minus a couple videos. all of them are made back in like 2021-2022? cant really remember, but i posted them for younger me's sake. i have like a couple more to get through, but afterwards im probs gonna do a bigger variety of content! art videos, jrwi edits, animations, rambles, essays, you name it! (might even stream again on twitch if that seems what the people like lol)

you may want actual reasons to subscribe, but i currently dont have any. i can only make promises of better future content, but right now i can admit theyre shit. i dont post often, its only oc related rn, all very vague, nothing that interests most people on my blog (cause i know a lot of you are here for jrwi content, huh?). this channel, the choice to subscribe is fully up to you, im not gonna sell myself to it, im simply just saying its real.

okay im going for like 7ft or so because that SLIGHTLY more reasonable but not by much; idgaf tho this is funny. Also if you will please imagine this as a lanky ass oriental cat a la Pangur of pangur-and-grim fame. also featuring lots of bi cats, because I say so.

♣️Rocky - Oh!! That's a big one! He makes endless "how's the weather up there" jokes (some are so weird) and has lots of ... stories ("St. Louis' very own creature from the river bottoms, only arising when the fog is heaviest!"); it really brings him back to his circus barker days. The first time you picked him up he was momentarily stunned, also he may or may not have climbed up you like a kitten when something startled him. It only happened once, okay? He's also fond of swatting at your absurdly long tail, as in it distracts him mid-sentence and he just has to take a swipe. Look, this probably won't awaken anything in him.

♣️Freckle - First thought? Terrifying, even when you bonked your head pretty bad on the doorframe. Okay, well, you were a little less scary after the third time. He's used to being smaller than most men, but something about you just towering is nothing short of creepy, especially if you have a more tough or intense personality. If you're a kinder soul, Freckle relaxes much faster. When you both have to pile into the back of the car, he feels really awkward about how you have to contort and twist yourself. Jeez, that doesn't look comfortable ... and somehow it makes him feel a lot smaller, which he doesn't appreciate.

♣️Ivy - Omiiigossshhh, the girls at school are not gonna believe this. She beelines to you right away, delighted with the novelty she's discovered. Naturally she wants to dance, and she'd be so shocked and delighted if you were elegant in spite of your lankiness - that'll get her a crush right away. Don't worry, if you're more clumsy, you're still cute! She thinks everything you do is "cute", even if you have the face of a thug and the body of a furry noodle. Having to scoot into cars, towering over the bar when you sit on a stool, your shirt sleeves nearly going to your elbows? Cute! She'd love to buy you something real fancy that fit, she just knows you'd look sharp.

♣️Mitzi - Oh. Oh my. Not her usual taste, but with the right clothes and some pomade, well, you'd be a proper gentleman. Mitzi is already plotting to get you a nice suit made, and good naturedly notes you ought to eat more or the wind will knock you right over. She already feels small next to Atlus and Viktor, but that's doubled with you. Sometimes it makes her a little uncomfortable, but she knows you don't mean to cause the discomfort. If she got you a real nice suit and a gun, you'd be an excellent guard for when she's out and about ...

♣️Viktor - He tries to recall the last time he was this much shorter than someone ... When he was twelve, perhaps? He feels zero intimidation from you, though. Viktor's confident he could snap you in half if need be. Hm, if they got some muscle on you, you might be able to handle some serious firepower... He thinks on it. Oh, and now he isn't the only one having to dodge doorframes. If you're a less violent-inclined person, many times he's growled at you to stop being so slack-jawed and try to look scary, especially when you both are supposed to be guarding.

♣️Zib - Wow yeah okay this is awakening something in him for sure. The musician gets a little hot under the collar when you stand really close and he has to look up, or god forbid, you bend down to his eye level. He has no idea why he's feeling both aroused and terrified, and what that's supposed to mean. Once you said "good boy" as a joke and he nearly tripped and fell off the stage. He's this hopeless even when you're a dork; if you're actually a smooth operator, he's doomed.

♣️Atlas - Yeah, it's not hard to figure out how you stood out to him. You were offered a job, and though you're much lankier than a triggerman out to be, Atlas has plans. Just some fattening up, some practice with a gun and a well-made suit (your Christmas present, in fact), and you cut quite a shadowy figure. The suit is probably the finest one you own, and the only clothing that's fit in years. Mitzi helped choose the color.

🏵️Serafine - She's intrigued right away, which is no surprise. Most people notice you right away, and it's even better if you work for the Marigold gang and she gets to have plenty of time to flirt and bother and amuse you. Serafine is doubly entertained if you're a more clumsy or nervous sort. She loves calling you "le fantôme" or "le boogeyman", and very much admires when you use your height to frighten someone they're having a "talk" with. She has absolutely grabbed your long-ass tail to get your attention.

🏵️Nico - Listen. He's been with men before - not as much as women, mind you, and he's always preferred those who are smaller than him, which is most. But look. You're a tree, he's a squirrel. No shame, you're cute and he'll say it. He can probably pick you up just fine (which he's very proud of) and laughs if it embarrasses you. He's very interested in how you might fight, and has given you several tips on how to use your unusual size to your advantage when going hand-to-hand with someone.

🏵️Mordecai - Yes this is definitely awakening something and he doesnt want to think hard about it also why is EVERY damn person around him a tree -- You drive him up a wall for many reasons. You slouch all the time, your clothes never fit right, you don't carry a gun that would work best for your long fingers. The Savoys joke about you being Mordecai's "project" because he keeps fussing over you. Though they must say, it's a lot easier to get information out of their targets when they have Mordecai's signature glare and a terrifying cryptid looming over him.

⛰️Wick - Oops! All those feelings he's repressed since boarding school are coming out. Note you could be awkwardly trying to get through a doorway or climb out of a car, with clothes that don't fit quite right or trying to finesse a gun that's too small and he is just, totally enamored. If you have more of a scary demeanor - or you put on that act when you're working as Mitzi's bodyguard - then he's still enamored, just with a dash of fear. So. That's confusing.

From an autistic person, Autistic Blaire is so true and real. I get she’s supposed to be malicious about gender but she’s deliberately written to want the best for people but not understand boundaries. If someone sat her down and told her (and the author wants to write her as anything but the ex-girlfriend) and said “hey, you’re cis. So am I.” she’d back off. But nobody can say what they mean despite the fact that they do nothing but talk at each other for 300+ pages. You’re right about the QT collective being more interesting/entertaining but they’re the same 1-2 personality traits as all the other side characters who show up to talk for a few pages and then disappear for 5 chapters. We know they’re not gonna get with either of our leads so they’re just “tall stoic one”, “mom and daughter”, “short buff one”, “misogynist” “crushing on misogynist” “trans guy who wants a boyfriend” etc etc. I get everything I need to know out of less than a sentence so I don’t care where their lack of arcs go. Anyway can’t wait for ballroom night in 2 years where all that happens is Blaire asks that DJ lady what her pronouns are, she doesn’t understand what that means, they all go home after 20 pages of filler dialogue and Riley cries alone or something. And Jaden can finally meet One member of the QT collective in maybe five more chapters if we’re lucky where she’ll continue to not understand gender and nothing will happen.

HELP YEAH she'll spend 500 more pages on edging the readers and introducing 10 new brave radfems who appear in one chapter and are never mentioned again and 5 on jaden and riley (the endgame relationship btw) getting closer (idk riley gets jaden a glass of water and jaden is like HOLY SHIT... I'M GONNA CRY... IS THIS WHAT FRIENDSHIP FEELS LIKE...) and the fans will eat it up.

also kinda unrelated but ive noticed a lot of lb fans like hcing riley as autistic and i dont get why. she is so nt its unreal. i guess its cause most of them are like 16-17 and only ever heard about autism from tumblr meme posts so now they think autism is when shy and awkward.

so funny how rusty is all like yeah im an ally and im chill about autistic riley but then when she accidentally writes characters with actual traits (blaire and jacob) its always a mockery. oh look this woman doesnt get boundaries haha its like shes in a cult. haha this kid struggles with empathy and has a rigid set of interests what an entitled moid.

babygirl also reads like that a bit cause while shes a skyscraper sized strawman i feel like her character is inspired by furry transfems on twitter who age regress to cope either with csa or inability to be a functioning adult by neurotypical standards (or both in most cases). also mad funny how lesbian male separatists used to be basically anarcho communist and now theyre a bunch of neoliberal assholes who think being communist is like the cringiest thing you can be (rusty basically implied this in her babygirl design notes. fucking lmao)

I FINALLY watched that barbie movie that came out, i watched it last night! it was cute and pretty solid i thought. and then immediately after finishing that i watched the 1989 found footage tv movie ufo abduction/the mcpherson tape?

barbie was mostly very funny (that smallpox joke is inexcusable tho) it seems aimed for maybe a tween-teen kind of audience? i havent heard of many big huge movies aimed at that demographic recently so thats really nice

you know i was worried id be insufferable to both barbie movie fans and barbie movie haters because i have 1) a doll hobby 2) too much interest in doll history and 3) a complete lack of trust and respect for mattel as a company in the past decade and i figured you wouldnt be able to talk to me about it without me um-actually-ing every two seconds BUT it wasnt as egregious as i expected in regards to doll history myths

im especially glad they didnt call stuff like happy family midge and earring magic ken like "recalled" or "banned" or whatever 'cause thats just one of those myths LOL BUT discontinued is a weird term... yeah they were discontinued but like. all dolls are some day. from what i can tell both those dolls werent even like prematurely (heh) discontinued or anything most reports seem that happy family midge sold okay (although there seems to have been controversies at least with the wedding ring and cardboard cutout husband situations) and earring magic ken probably didnt sell well. because hes ken. the earring magic barbies in the line probably sold better LOL i guess a better term could have been like. controversial barbies? infamous barbies? sugar's daddy ken is true and hilarious tho, although if i remember correctly it was like a collectors doll meant for adults that just never got released in the first place

I DID love tanner's inclusion. i love that stupid shitting dog so much i wanted it so bad as a kid but i didnt care about the barbie so it would have been a waste of a playset

speaking of not caring about the barbie so like. i didnt really like barbies as a kid. i didnt really like dolls. i was a furry i only liked animal shaped toys LOL i did have one barbie i picked out myself, fairytopia kindlee who i loved and adored and lost and i dream about her forever. but yeah nothing less interesting to me both as a child and as an adult than a default face sculpt blue eyed blonde barbie toy, which is, as most adults interesting in the modern day toy industry can attest, the reason for our disdain for mattel HFJDKHFDJS actually its more than that - weirdly inflated prices for cheaply made clothes and low quality printing, strangely dated fashion, the weird all or nothing either bare minimum 5 points of articulation or full out double jointed mtm bodies (where is single jointed elbows...i miss her....), THE DECADE LONG REIGN OF TERROR OF THE GLUE HEAD (although we're finally past that), why are those collectors dolls so expensive they look the same quality, why did they make that collectors mermaid ken white from the brown guy in the concept art, in canada the pricing and availability is wacky so i imagine its even worse everywhere else outside the US, this is a personal thing but why does every mattel doll ive ever owned like combust at its joints randomly. am i cursed? do i have a mattel curse? ive been thinking about this for years why does the plastic just disintigrate the second it enters my home what god did i anger. what plastic god did i anger. help me my bloodline has been cursed by some sort of polyvinyl based deity beyond my comprehension

anyway as i was saying it was a little sobering watching a movie with a good fashion and prop and set budget do a take on the memories of what barbie dolls used to be and then thinking about that absolutely dire state we're in rn. bro i kept looking at outfits like modern mattel would never. theyre too busy making half printed t shirt dresses with a random ruffle attached on the side <3 but vintage mattel would also not be as diverse. although neither mattel has an actually fat doll so. um. thats the saddest um-actually im gonna do :(

ive been joking to myself for years that barbie is the name of the species, ken might be some kind of subspecies, so it is funny to see the brand in both real life stores and also this movie lean into that. barbie really is a species. they do move in herds. wait im getting distracted anyway years ago barbie had a big refresh where they leaned into the idea that anyone can be barbie - everyone is barbie: they brought out new body types (standard, tall, short, and slightly curvy) which was a big step, a bigger range of skintones and all kinds of new face molds and screenings, also theres like bald barbies and barbies with prosthetics and wheelchair barbies are made way more often. and all this is fantastic. but unfortunately the blonde blue eyed millie sculpts still haunt most non-fashionista releases.... stereotypical barbie u dont know what u are.... its a shame they didnt reference the millie sculpt in the movie i woulda died LOL

but i always thought it was pretty wack that they made all these cool dolls and then relegated them to wear t shirt dresses for eternity. i like that the budget line is so diverse and i dont even mind the lack of articulation that much (although i do miss basic 9 point articulation where are my elbows and knees) but GOD those outfits. can be ROUGH. and WHY do they never put like half of the diverse dolls in other playsets WHY cant basketball barbie be bald WHEN will i get that prosthetic leg barbie as a fairy like youve put all this effort into all this diversity and then ur doing NOTHING with it mattel im begging u. im begging u. make a fantasy wheelchair barbie i know you can do it. i know you can do it

im not even talking about the movie anymore sorry im just complaining about barbie dolls even tho im not a huge barbie collector JFKDHJRKF i was just picky about toys as a child and i want kids nowadays to get cool dolls too. i think a kid deserves a nice thing to play with that looks like them or like their family or other people around them that also allows to imaginative play you know

okay. okay in the context of the movie its fine and makes sense but lemme tell u. being so deep in the current state of mattel hearing america ferrera's character suggest "ordinary barbie" made me fucking jump out of my seat and point at my laptop screen i almost said outloud "YOUUU" jgekfjfd it was her.... she did this.... jk jk its a sweet message in the movie but just so u know in mattel's mind "ordinary barbie" translates to overpriced cheaply made sack dress barbie. orz

wait back on topic back on topic its a nice movie, im glad it resonates with a lot of people. the plot was a little strange but i dont mind, the sets and outfits and everything was so good anyway, i loved that big huge chunky necklace as a touch, its some fashion brand symbol i dont remember sowwy but i like how huge it is LOL also the music was pretty great, i liked the needle drops and the music composed for the movie was fun too, what was i made for is fantastic but i knew that already its been a hit for a while now and i heard a vocal synth cover of it that sounded nice so i was already on board HJKDHJKFDS sometimes the. racial aspect of the movie was. jarring? they really only mention race like thrice (one of those times being the aforementioned awful smallpox joke) which. you know sometimes i get a little annoyed with a lot of contemporary movies and shows bringing up race just for little quips and jokes here and there while completely ignoring anything substantial about the topic, i know this is a tween movie with a two hour run time and they wanted to focus but i dunno man. it always feels like they're making a joke about elephants while the ignoring the elephant in the room staring u down. but whatever. i'll just lock someone into an unskippable cutscene conversation about history in regards to race and dolls irl later LOL cute movie tho. i like when movies have cool sets and outfits

NOW to the second half of that very odd double feature i gave myself last night UFO ABDUCTION its basically considered the first found footage horror movie, as a tv movie from 1989, and lemme tell u IT IS hard to watch LOL not because its like scary but like. because its a little bit bad <3 but its okay i dont mind, the main character behind the camera got pretty insufferable near the end (would not shut up and made it hard to hear the other actors orz) but it was only an hour and had like no budget - plus i love seeing where so much of the genre came from. im glad to know people screaming at the main character to shut that damn camera off has been here since the very beginning. i also loved the stupid alien costumes its such a shame theyre only in there for like 3 scenes they were the best part: genuinely kind of creepy at the first sight at the ufo landing because theyre so far away and low quality, and also really silly and goofy when they walk right up to the camera <3 <3 <3

i truly madly deeply genuinely without a shred of irony adore found footage so im always happy to see more! even when its bad :) i like it when cameras shake and people scream OH MY GOD WHAT IS THAT

okay last comment for this post. mxtx’s little authors note about everyone being straight except for hualian but you can make up headcanons as long as you dont split hualian up fjdlfakdj. i just find it silly to write a story thats so clearly for an audience that understands shipping and ships often and say not to split a specific couple up but i mean to be fair i kind of get it that sentiment as an author and not wanting people to do certain things with your work, although again i think its silly

i guess the point of this note is just to be clear that no one else is going to get together so no one argues about it and i dont actually know much about how this was published but it seems like it was serialized so i can see why that would be an issue. personally i dont really care for knowing stuff like that ahead of time but i know a lot of people do and it seems to be thing in other cnovels ive seen to know whos going to get together as far as major characters are concerned i guess thats part of the draw and i guess i kind of get it

not sure how much other romance will be in this but also i think its kind of ridiculous to be like “these are the only two gay characters” in a cast that just keeps growing but whatever shes really leaving that work up to the readers to make it happen which they’ll do anyways so whatever. also there had to be at least one of the 33 officials who fought hua cheng who thought he was hot. theres no way that didnt happen

Pt 7 i think we’re at im just vomiting ideas heck yeah more wolfstar

Based on a text “ sirius is put in an arranged marriage with a pureblood witch or it can be muggle au but with a female (he's gay in this) and remus is the wedding planner “

no warnings on this one either it just fluffy

arranged marriage, who even thought of shit like that? still it wasn't remus' place to question. He walked into the room, prepared to give his "Ok so theme ideas, what do you like, what actually looks good" speech but he stops dead in his tracks

first off, theres a man alone here

usually both partners are together

and secondly hes absolutely gorgeous

this was going to be problematic, remus rarely thought anyone was attractive, but when he did, he fell hard

the man noticed him and stood up, and held out his hand

"sirius orion black, i see you have the, ah, pleasure, of working with my family on getting the union from hell organized"

remus couldn't help it, he laughed

he'd seen arranged marriage cases before, but legally he wasn't allowed to do anything, trust me, he checked

but never were people so blatantly outright in their discomfort or annoyance

honestly it was refreshing

laughing was unprofessional and he was being paid a hefty amount of money to make something tasteful yet elegant, so he steeled his face and started his speech

at first he was just curious but then it was something more, it was intense and new. Sirius was funny, charming, kind, witty and so much more

unable to play games any longer remus choked out

"did- did you just propose to me in flowers?"

sirius looked bashful

"well i mean uh yeah, but uh I'd need your help in getting out of this current uh, marriage thing if you wanted to do this i know thats not a yes but it would be difficult and i just-"

Remus cut him off

"jesus merlin and morgana yes."

"i do" he said solemnly

sirius looked happier than remus had ever seen him, no shadows, no undertones

"ok so i don't know how to get out of this current ya know marriage thing, i haven't made an unbreakable vow or anything, well yet at least and-"

"Sirius you brilliant man you, you've given me an idea"

It was the day of the wedding. Sirius was standing at the alter, whatser name getting ready in one of the back rooms. The flowers they had chosen, spider flowers (elope with me, sirius and remus both thought it was funny) and remus was ready, in a suit that was probably more decorative than a wedding planner needed, but little did they know, he was probably underdressed

it was his wedding day after all

Remus went over to sirius, walking intentionally down the aisle as he did. It was on purpose yes, but everyone else didn't look twice as the ceremony had yet to start. silently, he gripped his wand and cued the music.

everyone turned to face remus in shock, sirius beamed, as a man should look on his wedding day. Cries of rage came from the black family as it clicked what was happening.

walburga black began to leap up, brandishing her wand but was stopped by an invisible force keeping her to the chair, and the chair to the floor. or ya know, a sticking charm

they'd figure out how to get it off eventually and he only needed a little bit of time anyways

being a wedding planner had perks

he reached the altar and grabbed sirius' hands.

The clergyman looked shook, but also suddenly understood the vague wording in his contract, shrugged, and went on with it

if remus was being honest, he didn't remember much of what the clergyman said, he didn't remember the cries of outrage from the black family

what he did remember was the look in sirius' eyes, the smile that was so large it threatened to come off his face, the tight, nervous grip of his hands

remus remembered that most of all

remus remembered hearing sirius say i do, tears in the old saps eyes, and then he remembered hearing it from himself

screams of protest and indignation sounded like music to his ears but then suddenly he heard clapping and cheers

he turned around in shock and saw that whatserface was in the aisle, in jeans and a hoodie, leading her family in appluase

*applause

as would later be explained to the black family. Remus had not taken an unbreakable vow to marry or love sirius for ever. neither of them could promise that. but what had happened however was meridith (as he learned her name was) and sirius had made an unbreakable vow to never marry eachother

turns out meredith was undeniably gay and had a girlfriend

and so in the confusion they were wed, and the blacks could do nothing of it, for worries of risk admitting they were beanboozled by a their heir and his husband, or worse that they had made the worst match in all of pureblood history with two incredible gay queens.

yet something gnawed at remus

one day, a year later, he went up to sirius

it was time, the secret didn't feel as warm and personal anymore

instead it felt dirty and aggressive, mean, harmful

he walked up to sirius

shit he was not crying, he was not crying but he started to speak

"i-i think it's time-time for you to know- and- and i just want- i just want to say to you, i love you so much, more than anything and imsosorry and"

"honey whats the matter, is this about your uh, 'furry little problem"

remus blinked

sirius couldn't help but chuckle

-bonus- after the whole debacle purebloods thought twice about arranged marriages and let their kids be for a while, and so meredith took advantage of this and her girlfriend and her got married, (remus was the planner, they had all turned out to be quite good friends)

1. hot spot and lightning. im screeching this is already so much more wack than i could make on my own.

lightning would probs do this because ~earthen games brother let’s do it~ and then is hype hype hype UP until the moment he actually has to do it. can actual lightning turn pink? the answer is yes. hot spot is much better at feigning nonchalance, is internally screaming, but also, who can say they kissed nature? nobody, that’s who. it’s also lightning’s first kiss. they do it once when hot spot isn’t on fire, then someone (speedy) says he bet lightning wouldn’t do it if hot spot WAS on fire, so then they have to do it again just to prove speedy wrong. kissing lightning , hot spot claims, is weird bc lightning has no experience but there’s these little shocks that feel just so weird but good

2. Beast Boy and Speedy. oh my fuCKign goD

they would groan. loudly. and a lot. obnoxiously. “ughhhgHGHGH WHY’D IT HAVE TO BE YOU. I WOULD RATHER KISS MY OWN FOOT.” beast boy asks if he can do it as an animal (licking as kissing). the answer is no. they kiss, beast boy wipes his mouth dramatically, speedy spits. it’s not that bad, but they like the attention, obviously. bb says “be glad i didn’t cut ur mouth with my FANGS” and speedy’s like “calm down furry”. then everyone gets on speedy because he kissed the furry and he really regrets his life choices

3. Herald and Aqualad. hghkhghkfhkhkfhk

(fun fact, herald has Two Whole Sentences in personality in the wiki. therefore i am legally allowed to make up a personality for him thank you)

Herald has an initial jump at being Chosen by the Bottle but he mellows out p quick. also a little nervous about kissing some of them but aqualad’s not that bad. they have the same color scheme. it’s chill. aqualad has a whole facade that fools literally no one but herald kisses him without much fanfare. makes a joke about an underwater kiss being more romantic and speedy laughs so hard he falls over, even though it wasn’t that funny, which makes aqualad’s expression sour. but he can’t even get made at herald who’s laughing a little and is just a genuine human being, and also being mad at speedy is easy

4. Thunder and Kid Flash. cuuUUUTE

thunder i can see being all gentle giant and kid flash is so endeared by him, laughing and cracking jokes. theyre just . happy people and thunder is nervous and doesn’t want to hurt him and it’s just very pure all around. kid flash initiates it and just beams afterwards, proclaiming the two of them bros. he sits next to thunder for the rest of the night, poking him and talking to him, and thunder warms up to him and gets less nervous

5. Raven and Herald . oooh an entire canon interaction

raven wouldn’t be super hype about kissing anyone but if she chose to kiss someone it would be starfire or herald so she’s good. herald is just as laid back as ever and their kiss is the quietest yet. super chaste, basically a friend kiss (europeans do that some places, right?) honestly them together makes me happy, just two people who can bond over music and tea. everyone is disappointed at how calm it is, not dramatic at all, but it’s just like their personalities so. yes. love them.

6. Jinx and Speedy. SCREECHES

okokokokok speedy would probably pale bcos kissing,,, jinx,,, isn’t that just INVITING bad luck,,, and jinx is lowky miffed bcos the one time the bottle lands on her it’s speedy she’s kissing,,, not even starfire,,, not hot spot,, not KF,,, disappointment. they kiss and they’ll literally never admit it but it was p nice. even if speedy’s hair poofed up in response to her magic lmaoo

Bulma Nodded "Yup. But You Guys Are Always Close. What Happened Tho?"

Yamcha Sighed And Scratched His Head. "I Dont Know.. All I Remember Is Me And Him Having A Good Time. And Suddenly After Weeks Or Months Past By... We Suddenly Hanging Out Less. We Didn't Talk Often.. We Didnt Call Often.. We Didnt Even Hang out Often... Theres something Wrong With Him.." He sighed.

Down The Rabbithole Ch12

She was SO. DANG. TIRED!!

Allison yawned and shuffled her sore feet along as she kept walking through the tall grass, bushes, and other plants through the forest to wherever this glowing butterfly took her. She had been following this small glowing creature for the longest time now and she was sure she was about to fall over any minute now from sleep deprivation. Her red eye blinked tiredly up at the thing as it fluttered a few feet ahead of her. Stopping every so while to let her catch up because of her sore and slow movements. She didn't know how long she was at this just walking through dense forest and tiredly and blankly at the pretty glowing insect. She was starting to wonder how long this was gonna last- Allison turned her tired blinking eyes ahead of her-....And stopped. The butterfly flew a little ways in front of her and stopped in-between two trees that were on the edge of the tree line leading into what looked like a giant clearing and on the far side of said clearing there a huge pink mass blocked from view by the trees ahead on her. She blinked and despite her tiredness, she rushed forward, stumbling over her feet falling to her knees a few times, but each time pushing her self up and running more until she burst through the treeline and was standing a few feet into the field.

".....O-Oh my goodness."

The field was MASSIVE. At least two or three football fields. Long grass waved gently in the wind as a few wild flowers poked their colorful heads out of the beautiful green grass and into the morning-.....Was it morning? She couldn't tell. She's been walking for so dang long. They lifted into the light anyways. And smack dab in the middle of this field was A. GIANT. PINK. CIRCUS TENT!! Just like the Fortune Teller told her. She didn't hesitate this time, umbrella in hand, she grabbed the hem of the tacky red dress she wore and began stumble running through the tall grass towards the tent as fast as she could. Her heart beating in her chest as she did. The Fortune Teller said the person inside the tent could help her get home! This was the last person she'd have to run to before she got home! That nice cozy non threatening home, with a soft bed she was gonna collapse into as soon as she got there. Or the couch. Anything would be better than a floor or walking constantly through the woods. She could finally see if Chesire was ok. She didn't know if the mirror fell on him or if he was alright! The sooner Allison got back the sooner she could see him! That thought pushed her forward and right now she didn't care if her legs and feet hurt. She could rest as soon as she got home! The tent was getting closer now, thank goodness it was in the middle of the field of grass so she wouldn't have to run for much longer she hoped!....Unfortunately she didn't see the shiny glim of the suits of armor as she was running past, or the men watching from the shadows who had spotted her as she ran across no longer needing any magical butterflies.

The one who was presumably the leader of the small group of armored men followed along Allison's path with a telescope, which gave him a full close up view of the human as she ran across the clearing of grass. "...Blonde-red hair..Red clothes...She matches the description of what her majesty has told us."..Eventually he put it down and stared at the blur heading for the large tent. "That must be her. Let us move in while we still have the element of surprise."

The three men behind him looked at one another unsure, before the middle one spoke. "I- Uh...I d-d-don't if this is a good idea, Captain." The soilder stuttered before leaning sideways to glance to the pink tent set up over there ....and gulped. "I-I-...N-No one messes with the Chesire. Y-Y-You know what he did year's ago!" He trembled as he shook and gulped. "I-I d-don't want to be turned to dust! "

"Would you rather face the Queen?," he asked back putting the telescope back into his harness as the three again exchanged looks. Facing the Queen and her temper didn't sound that appealing either...But when faced with the option of facing her or the rouge Chesire-

"E-Even the Queen never deals with the Chesire," a second one spoke and their leader narrowed his eyes watching as the blur of the girl disappeared into the tent entrance.

".....We won't be. Our orders were to retrieve the lady unharmed and bring her to her majesty, that old cat's weak right now according to her. And I am never one to go against the Queen's orders. Now come." He started making his way from the treeline as the others exchanged one last look....before following after their leader. "It's time for our task to be complete."

Allison had stopped and was taking deep long breaths as she stared up at the sight of this absolutely large and massive tent, and briefly wondered who could've been living here. A giant maybe? Or maybe there was a whole slew of circus actors and she needed a whole team to break into a castle? She didn't know. She was tired, hungry, and so desperate to just have this whole thing over and done with. She was willing to do anything at this point. So still breathing deeply from running, her hand shakily reached out and pulled the curtain entrance back. What was met was a long hallway of tent fabric. She blinked, before catiously stepping in and began stepping. The flap flopping back into place behind her, as she walked she couldn't help but feel a certain strange familiarity. It was hard to describe but she almost felt ....at home? She shook her head. No. It was because she was so tired. She was starting to turn her brain to mush. The tented hallway suddenly stopped and split into two different directions and she stopped for a moment to blink tiredly between the two directions, wondering which way she should go-....Wait. What was- She shook her head again and looked up as soft piano music started playing. No. Surely she must be hearing things, she looked right at the hallway the music seemed to magically flow from-

"Welcome to Wonderland.~ We've got it all.~ Potions and pastries that make you grow tall.~ Forests and cottages, castles and cards that can talk~," a very smooth familiar voice flowed down from the same hallway that the piano music was coming from, singing some kind of song. And she blinked again and shook her head at it as It continued singing. "Welcome to Wonderland.~ Look where you're at.~ Maddest of Hatters...the Chesire Cat.~" There was an emphasis on 'the chesire cat' that made her pause and absolutely froze, brain whirling. "Magical cabins and lovely white rabbits with clocks.~ Dancing through a dream underneath the stars.~ Laughing til the morning comes.~ Everyone that leaves has a heavy heart.~ Oh, Wonderland I love.~"

That voice. It sounded so familiar. It fact it sounded just like-

"CHESIRE?!", she shouted desperately down the hall and other than the music there wasn't any noise- A very familiar giggled rang out. She jumped. And immediately stumble ran down this hallway as the singing continued.

"Welcome to Wonderland.~ I'll be your guide.~ Holding your hand under sapphire skies.~" She came to another junction of two pathways and looked between them heart racing- "Let's go exploring or we could just go for a walk.~ Welcome to Wonderland.~ Where should we go?~" It was coming from the left now! Allison quickly followed in the direction of the music and singing and this hallway seemed longer than the last two. "There's a tea party along down the road.~ Make an appearance and maybe they'll sing us a song.~ Dancing through a dream underneath the stars.~ Laughing til the morning cooooomes.~ Everyone that leaves has a heavy heart.~" She stopped smack dab in the middle of a circle of hallway entrances now. SERIOUSLY?! This place was more like a maze than a tent. "Oh, Wonderland I Love.~"

Allison desperately looked around in circles at the multiple entrances, including the way she ran though there was five tunnels in total and she wasn't sure exactly which way to go yet. "Chesire!? C-C-Come on! This isn't f-funny!" She couldn't help the small tears beginning to form from the corners of her eyes. "Im lost and Im t-tired of running around! P-Please come out!"

The singing completely stopped for a good few moments- Before the tunnel in front of her began playing piano music louder and she zeroed in on it. "Nothing here is quite as it seems.~ Not sure if anything's real or a dream.~" She immediately made a dash towards that voice and began stumble running down a LONG hallway. "And the only thing sure from the start is the song that's inside of your heart.~ Don't let it leave.~" A light shown up in the end between two more tent flaps and with a desperate breath she ran and launched herself at it pushing the things aside and breathing heavily now inside the large room. Tears streaming down her face. But she could care less about anything else in the big room. Those red eyed locked onto the small blue furry ball sitting ontop of a wind up piano as the notes magically played by themselves. The mischevious cat was smiling softly at her and gave an almost guilty look. "If this is a dream then at least I got memories for when the morning coooomes.~" He sang before he jumped off the piano before bounding a few feet away from her. "Now That I must leave with a heavy heart.~ Oh, Wonderland I love.~......Hello, Allison. Welcome to Wonderland." He tipped his tiny hat to her. "I'll be your guide from now on."

The crying , shaking woman stood there tiredly blinking and staring at the small cat as he silently stared smiling back. Before Allison literally dropped to her knees and scooped Chesire into her arms. Crying her eyes out. Chesire didn't mind one bit as she widely smile back and hugged back. Just happy his old friend was alive and well and unharmed. Allison smiled despite herself through that tired face of hers and hiccuped. Reaching a hand up to wipe at her eyes and pull back to look the crazy cat in the eyes.

"I-I thought you might've gotten hurt! I'm so happy you're ok!...*sniff* H-Hey. How did you get here a-anyways?"

He giggled and pushed away from her grip floating again. "The same way you did! It just took myself some time and a lot of magic to piece it back together again. Where have YOU been this entire time? And how in the name of madness did you find my home? Not that I'm complaining of course!" His smile widened. "I'm so glad you found me, but how Is something my curiousity needs to know."

....She blinked. "OH! Right. Well-" She still remained on her knees just motioned with her hands as she spoke. "W-W-Well, I crash landed in a Giant's forest, and then a mouse spoke to me. And then I was talking to a mouse in a dress, and she said to talk to this Hatter and Hare. And then they let me sleep on the floor and told me to find these Twiddle sisters. I had to walk SO much just to find them, then I had to dodge a bar fight." She blinked tiredly and pointed at him. "Did...*yawwwwwn* Did I mention I haven't slept very well for two night and walked for about two days straight?..I'm so exhausted...Oh! And those sisters told me to find this Fortune Teller guy. He was this huge moth! And he made me follow this glowing bug all the way here through the woods....Oh! Did I also mention this dress is REALLY tacky?"

He listened patiently and giggled when she finished shaking his head. "Well, I'm so happy and so surprised you made it all the way here! As soon as all my magic is restored I'll think of someway to bring you home where you belong. In the meantime you can stay with me!"

...She smile dropped, suddenly remembering something. "...O-oh. About that. I-I have bad news-"

(This next few movements of the Chesire cat Im completely referencing what he does from the 'Vivienne Medrano - Updated Animation Reel 2015' video on youtube, since it's the only real animation of Chesire I'm using as much information and material presented to us I can. So if you wanna see that particular small animation of him, look up the video I named on youtube and skip to 1:14, and 1:44 in the vid.)

He jumped up higher in the air and held his staff out gesturing to the tent around him. Right behind him was the doorway she came in from."Welcome to the Cat's Meow Tent, Ladies and Gentlemen! Here you'll find out anything is but an ask away!" At 'away' he leaned back and she giggled as he did a back fip still talking. "But of course, these halls will make you flip for excitement.~" All of a sudden his head popped off his shoulders and his staff floated in mid air as he shrugged. "You don't wanna loose your head getting lost do ya? She giggled as he reached up to pull his head back onto his shoulders. "No, of course not.~ Just stick with me and I gaurentee everything will be just dandy!"

...Once again her smile faded as she tiredly blinked and he regrabbed his floating staff. "Actually. E-Everything's not dandy, Chesh. ...Those Twiddle sisters told me that there was already people after me." She didn't notice his posture instantly freeze at what she said, but it only became worse as she kept talking. "T-The Fortune Teller. He said the only way I can get b-back home was the magic mirror in the Queen's castle, that's why he sent me here. He said I'd need your help to sneak in so I can go home."

She jumped finding him inches from her face. There was something about that wide grin and the way he was now moving that seemed....off. Even for someone as odd as him. His pupils completely shrank to thin snake like slits and his body was slightly bouncing as he stared at her. His tail bouncing hard to some kind of beat only he could hear and his eyes blinking one after another with each bounce of his tail. He looked...almost scary. He giggled, devoid of any happiness. "And I don't suppose this person after you would happen to be the Queen of Hearts. Would it?"...She slowly nodded and he leaned back up. Still leaning forward on that staff though. "No need to fear. She wouldn't risk coming here even if her life depended on it.~ And I doubt anyone knows where you are right now."

Well, those were some really good points. She watched as the cat floated over and gestured to the giant room around them. There was what looked like bowling pins over near the door, probably for juggling, a unicycle, the piano he was sitting on a few minutes ago, and a few other things you'd expect to find in a circus tent.

"There's plenty of tricks and performances I'd love to show you while we figure things out!" He paused seeing her yawn and stretch her body out. "...Or perhaps we should invest in getting you some rest. I can handle things while you do?"

She tiredly blinked at him. "A-Aren't you tired?"

"Very! But I'm tired like I've just had a long run. I don't need much sleep. My magic needs to replenish from it's natural source after I used so much of it so few hours apart of each usage of it." He giggled nervously. "To be honest, I barely even have enough energy right now to even keep me afloat."

"...Hey. How did you use the mirror after you fixed it? Wouldn't the portal have been destroyed?"

He shook his head. "No. If the one who made the portal fixes it, then they can still use it. After all only the one who made the portal can use or even destroy it."

Allison sat there for a moment mind whirling....before she scowled at him. "Wait a second. If only YOU could use that thing, then HOW COME I CRASH LANDED HERE?!"

He paused for a minute, and his smile became smaller. Well that was one question he was expecting of her and he sighed. "Anyone who isn't from my world doesn't need permission to use portals ONLY IF they don't personally belong to someone. ...I think I must've accidentally gave you my permission to use it MY personal one and I didn't realize it until it was too late."

She looked confused. "But....I never ASKED to use it, and you never said I could."

His paws nervously tapped along his staff. "Mmmmmmm. No, you're right. I didn't exactly say yes, and you never asked. But magic works in mysterious ways and I must've subconsciously given my permission without meaning to or realizing it. Remember when you made the upside down cake?" He watched as she paused, probably remembering back days ago.

She tried to make pineapple upside down cake. She made it and turned her back away from it for a second when she turned back and almost had a heart attack from Chesire using his magic to hold in place upside-down.

"What are you doing?!"

"Helping you with the recipe. I don't think you'll be able to make it stay upside down on your own will you?"

"T-That's not...Wait." She blinked. "Your Upside down cakes are ACTUALLY upside down?"

"Of course they are! It wouldn't make sense for it NOT to be. What's the point of having an upside-down cake if it's not made properly?"

"Huh. You'll have to show me your world sometime."

"Really?!" His tone radiated excitement as that idea was thrown at him and he giggled. "What a splendidly marvelous idea!! You could take my portal but...perhaps it would be better if not. There is dangers still left to be undangered."

"What do you mean?"

''Hopefully you'll never find out. Now let's cut this open! Im starving so to speak."

He...accidentally DID give her his permission. He really didn't mean she could use it, and it really didn't count in their eyes...but it must've counted where magic was concerned. And she blinked.

"You...really did accidentally give me permission, didn't you?"

He only nodded. "Yes. And therefore it's my fault you've had to deal with everything thus far and I can't apologize enough for my carelessness. But rest assured I will get you home safe and sound, Dear friend." She yawned real loudly and he chuckled. "And speaking of rest, I believe we both should both have a moment to relax and rest up!"

She giggled lightly before yawning again. Yeah. Taking a rest sounded great. Now that she was in a safe place, they could both get some re-

"GAH!!"

A blur of blue suddenly shot down from the air past her as Chesire suddenly landed to the ground with a thud as she gasped and jumped. His hat and staff dropping to the ground from where he was previously floating as the cat laid limply knocked out on the ground. A few feet from him was one of the white juggling bowling pins that was near the exit. A shout of 'CHESIRE!' filled the air as she stared at her poor unconscious friend in horror before turning around as a large shadow fell over her- BAM!! Darkness clouded her vision and with her body being so tired walking all this time and without sleep, she easily went down unconscious to the floor as well, as four large men in shiny armor stared down at her....Before looking at their leader who leaned down to the unconscious Allison. s4 thoughts under the cut

i have criticism and i have praise, but most importantly i have common fucking sense and i dont lose my mind if a kids cartoon doesnt go my way so dont worry about that palios

please read this post in a neutrally speculative tone because that’s my voice in my head as i’m typing it. also of course my opinion is just a star in the sky and your mileage, as always, may vary. warning its the Great Wall of Text

most importantly its a great time to be a lotor stan. i love my boy my problematic trash fav i love him so much hes officially my favorite character now 1000000000% (it used to be lance, but he’s been dethroned for real now)

not only is he a fucking babe but whenever he appeared the plot was guaranteed to move forward so every time he came onscreen i got my two favorite things in one

listen im just not going to go overboard w this but lets just say i think about him and grin a lot what a fucking GREAT character he’s so MORALLY GREY so FUCKED UP so INTERESTING so sexy

matt holt is in fact a meme! good job fandom, well predicted. the allura heart eyes stuff was lame stock cartoon humor which imo added Nothing of value, but that aside he’s an angel boy and brilliant addition to the recurring cast and i love him

i thought the rain and the big no during the cemetery scene were kinda over the top cheesy but that episode was, overall, really great

okay but real talk that one dog looking captain has to be somebody’s fursona???????????? somewhere a furry is fucking thriving right now

fighting animations and space backgrounds were gorgeous, as always

i adore where they’re taking keith’s development!!! i had some pretty serious concerns post s2, but they’re taking him in exactly the direction i had hoped for

i feel like he’s honestly really happy with the blade, their style really suits him and i mean that both figuratively and literally *wink wonk*

he’s a loner, but he’s not alone. he’s in a position where he’s expected to function as an independent unit within a team, instead of being literally connected to the others in his squad; at this point in time that autonomy is what’s important for his development. he has both the insight to realize that and the empathy to be concerned that it might be selfish or wrong in the eyes of others

but his friends support him!!!!!!!! the group hug oh my god

his self sacrifice... i almost died that was just so. beautiful

LANCE AND ALLURA!!!! OMG IM CRYING honestly i am still rooting for no canonical romance but at this point i wouldnt even mind canon allurance, because the way they’re having lance mature and act around her is just... im still crying dont look at me

that said i think its beautiful how canon lance, in stark contrast to the awful character that is fanon lance, is a selfless and insightful boy who -- once he steps out of his theater-kid attention-seeking leo persona -- has a better grasp than perhaps anyone of the true dynamics of the team

he gave allura the speech that shitty lance stans want the rest of the team to give him. i can’t believe he single handedly screwed over all bad characterization. im so proud of him.

lance’s sweet moment at the end of ep6 aside, i’m still pretty bitter about the fact that we know virtually NOTHING about either lance or hunk. to some degree shiro is also still a mystery.

the reason it’s so frustrating is because to varying degrees, keith, pidge, and allura all have some sort of backstory and ongoing arcs

in comparison, hunk and lance have been kind of stuck in support roles for four seasons now. they are occasionally shown maturing, but im just lacking a foundation for what’s driving them?? besides lance’s insecurities, what do we really HAVE?

episode 4 was a waste of time that i hope the under-12 demographic enjoyed more than i did. the meta wasn’t on point like, for instance, the avatar theater episode. also, it treated hunk terribly. like, lampshading how horribly he’s treated as a fat comic-relief character isn’t funny when your writers are the ones giving him that treatment in the first place lol???

it was, how u say, a shitty filler that could have been dropped entirely without affecting a thing

the sailor scout poses were pretty okay tho

why would you create a setup for whatever is going on with shiro and then not so much as allude to it during an entire season?

like, a forty-second scene implying some weird juju would have been enough, but completely dropping one of the plot threads for six consecutive eps makes for a pretty porous story-tapestry. im assuming they’ll pick it up again but this season is just... a gaping hole, dramaturgically speaking.

if i had written it i would be kicking my own ass for lack of continuity

seriously this makes me feel less bad about my first-draft mess of a fanfic because holy shit lol its a lot tighter than this was

lotor killing narti came literally out of nowhere, and im not saying this to defend him (she was my favorite general and im incredibly sad she’s gone?? im lowkey hoping haggar’s mojo will revive her tbh) -- but, again, we have some really weird writing decisions going on here

lotor was set up in season three as someone who values mercy and explicitly orders his people not to kill. like, im not trying to excuse what he did -- im just saying it seems like a contradiction, based on what we’ve been shown

why wouldnt he just incapacitate her or kill kova instead?? the nature of the psychic bond was never addressed enough to make killing her seem motivated, and his character was never built up as someone who would succumb to a random murderous impulse, so tl;dr I Don’t Get It

also we havent been given enough background on the team to be able to say for sure, but what i assumed was a tight-knit elite group with history seems to have actually been a ragtag group of neutral-aligned mercenaries, temporarily banded together for personal gain.

while i’m okay with a plot-driven show that doesn’t spell things out and leaves most things as implied subtext, i still feel like there is such a thing as being too subtle

like you can’t set up plot threads only to put them completely on pause to have some ships blow up, it will only frustrate the audience and make the action seem like a cover-up for the writers having no idea what the fuck is going on

its not hard!!! to just throw in allusions to things!!!! like we’re talking literally just tossing out HINTS so people remember that “oh yeah that thing existed at all” @ dreamworks please uh... do that?

the pattern seems to be that we get a mindblowing season followed by a mediocre season so time to hype s5!

so anyway those are my two cents ("its more like ten dollars char" yeah yeah i know!!!) and i’m very happy to discuss the events of this season, and for people to disagree with me (as long as its polite and... at least relatively motivated lol)

Each character ive made has been some kind of manifestation of what i was feeling creatively at the time, with the exception of Aliphos. Hes straight up my first character who i made not realizing how self-inserty he was all the way back in grade 9 of highschool.

Any minor characters that have either taken over or branched off into their own stories?

See now this ones a bit more interesting because i didnt really have a side character until very recently. Sacha is a backup character for the wandering mess that is the party Morgenstern belongs to, and he acts as chief sponsor after they saved him from bandits. He isnt SUPPOSED to come into the spotlight of the adventure, but he will if Morgen becomes otherwise unavailable

Do you prefer to make human, animal, monster, or _____ characters? Why?

Well i mean “human” is very loosely defined here but yeah. These are characters i know and relate to best and im not a furry, so “human” it is!

ignoring the fact that only four of them are actual humans, and one of those four isnt even mine

When creating a character, do you come up with the visual concept or the written concept first?

written concepts, easily. when im sitting down trying to make a new brain-child theres a list of questions that goes through my head to get a better idea of what im going for.

where did they come from? what is the most important thing that has happened to them this far? how do they react to waking up on just a regular day? what is the most common thing they feel both physically and mentally? how do they handle being in a group of other similarly skilled people?

i find that answering just these gives me a better idea of what im working with than trying to get a picture going before having at it

Do you have characters that you know you’ll never use, but can’t bear to get rid of/recycle?

Im honestly having a hard time envisioning using Ana anywhere. shes a bit of an alcoholic downer, and she doesnt play well with others. Morgen doesnt either, but hes currently in use and even then i have to creatively stretch his personality quite a bit just to keep things rolling

i dont like the idea of just getting rid of characters though. a few of them have died. multiple times in some cases. continuities are a thing that doesnt really exist for me, but it is hard to find a scenario where those two in particular would click in well

Is there a character that embodies your good traits, or traits you wish you had?

Aliphos is generally up-beat most of the time, and Firo and Sacha love a good time more than anything else. in general, theyre my more happy characters and i like holding onto that.

Is there a character that embodies your bad traits? Several characters? Which ones and what traits?

Ana and Morgen are definitely some pretty negative characters at their cores. Morgen less so simply because i felt like i was in a bit of a creative rut and i wanted to try something new, but Anastasia came around back at the end of highschool during the Depression Years™ and it shows...

Morgens definitive characteristics are nonchalant detachment and disdain and anger, where Ana is a depressed alcoholic with a death complex. Theres nothing happy here.

Is there a character that explores your interests or fetishes (orrrr is that just all of you characters)?

The most interesting things i can do with my characters is something that i think is unexpected of myself. I had Ali for YEARS before i tried making another character, and while it was fun making a new one, she boiled down to a drunk depressed version of what came before. The more varied and exploratory i can get with my characters the better.

One of my best experiences with a character was developing Unit. I played out the inner conflict of realizing you are able to take a hold of personal freedom now that you know you can have it while simultaneously not wanting to because youre still holding onto the faith that the higher powers know whats best and you should still be awaiting further instruction. those instructions would never come, and Unit is just another forgotten soldier stuck fighting the war, but it was SO MUCH FUN to play out the moral dilemma and ponder the philosophy! that was such a new experience for me, and i loved it! so i made a point to try and spice it up with whatever i try and make next

If you have characters that embody certain traits of yours—good or bad—has writing them changed how you view those traits? Has it affected you in any way?

In truth? not particularly. i just sorta vomit ideas out onto my characters and whatever sticks sticks. i pay no real mind as to what those ideas mean. its just fun to me.

Do you fantasize about being any of your characters, or are you more detached?

Oh there is no way i can play a character and stay detached...

When im in it? Im in it.

Do you create playlists for your characters?

HELL YEAH I DO. SPOTIFY iS A BEAUTIFUL THiNG.

When writing for specific characters, is there anything you have to do to get into the right mindset?

I will ask myself all the same questions from above as when i come up with the character design, i listen to their playlist if i made one yet, and i picture whatever it was that they just got through experiencing.

Which character is your guilty pleasure?

Oh Sacha easily....hes the first character i think ive made where his entire backstory is hes from a rich family and he likes to try new things. Theres no intricacy here, hes just a simple start to a character and hes fon loving. Hes super refreshing to play around with.

Is there a character of yours who’s a real struggle to write/draw? Why do you think that is?

Award for hardest to work with is probably going to Firo. I just wasnt as invested into making him as i have been for other characters. When i think of characters id like to play around with, hed be on the bottom of the list purely because he has the least amount of my interest

Which character is the easiest to draw/write?

Is there anything you really wish you could do, character-design-wise, that you feel is outside your current skillset? A concept that you wish you could pull off but are uncertain about?

BRO LITERALLY EVERYTHING. I love coming up with the concepts and flushing them out as i go along, but i am not the greatest at writing and they all just sorta stay in my head. also i cant draw. its a bad time for everyone involved.

What’s more important to you: visual design, unique personality, a trendy character aesthetic, etc? If you’re not sure, then what’s the first thing you usually nail down in a character?

well the first thing i always nail down when i think id like to entertain the thought of a character is their origin. so in a way i guess the aesthetic? though as i said above i like to keep things anything but trendy

Do you ever plan to do anything (comic, animation, etc) with your characters? Or are you just happy to have them?

dude i would love to make something big out of my characters! the problem becomes then that i would need someone who is as in sync with how i perceive my characters to be artistically inclined with, because god knows i cant do shit out here. until that day arises? in my head they stay.
