Tried to apply somewhere, wouldn't even take my resume bc they said it was too expensive to train someone that would only work until September, nearly cried over it, walked home and had slush fall out of a tree onto my head, had the snow I cleared off the car fall directly into my boots and make my jeans soaking wet, couldn't even get the top of the car cleared because I'm too short and weak, and then I CRIED ABOUT IT LIKE A BABY.

I kinda want a masterclass by the person responsible for the lighting of ofts bc how the fuck are they making already attractive people look so much MORE attractive???? Like I have seen all of the main cast in different series and it just shows how different lighting choices can make the same person look so vastly different while they themselves barely change.

Like I did not find either Force or Book that hot before (don't come for me they're just too masculine for my taste ok) but boy oh boy the lighting in ofts sure makes them way hotter. Same goes for Neo and Mark tbh. Like yeh for them it also comes down to their roles and the acting in general just being very sensual n stuff but even in just normal scenes they look so good?? And don't get me started on First and Khaotung....especially Khaotung. Idk what they do with his lighting bc this man just looks like the most ethereal human being to ever grace this earth in certain shots like holy shit. And this is coming from me, who found him so crusty sometimes in the eclipse that I could not relate to everyone going nuts over him back then (he did have his moments in that show also but generally I just found it way worse in terms of lighting bc it was so washed out most of the time).

I think it's that ofts' lighting is very intentionally warm 90% of the time. Especially their indoor and night shots are just utter perfection of warm orange lighting. So yeh whatever the lighting director did there was pure crack. I can't stop staring at some of the shots because the lighting makes everyone so damn attractive.

Friends, stay cool out there. I have suffered so much this week from the increase in heat that I finally roped my roommate into helping me safely hoist my new ac into the window and my happiness has increased a great deal. I will not be sweating myself awake anymore thank god 😩

i was thinking the other day about my middle school experience and i remember getting an award for having the highest scores in science in my grade and im not that great with anything that isnt reading/writing or art so it was odd. but i think its all because from what i remember i really liked the teacher n she never had the lights on in that classroom she only used the natural light from the window so it was always a little dark in there and i never got overstimulated by the horrible overhead lighting. so i think i was just really focused for once. my therapist also keeps her office extremely dark and i function so well
