Apologies, but my posts are going to look a bit samey, whilst I perfect what is my largest body area to date. For this reason I'll be posting less often, until I get back to a stage that evolves a bit quicker. A trained eye will notice the subtle differences in each stage, things are tightening up now, and the placement of each ripple is carefully considered before tacking into place. Once these pins are removed, more take their place, in another phase of fine tuning. I like to document it all, as sometimes these sculptures seem so time consuming and overwhelming. 📅 3rd July - 1st August Apologies if you're having your breakfast, my nakey butt may not be what you want to see right now! Butt (geddit?!) I wanted to share a little progress update with you all • This is one month of progress after starting with @georgiegyms as my coach • It's safe to say the last 16-months or so have been a roller coaster and I decided it was time to take the stress out of my own programming and get someone to keep me accountable. So what have I changed? Physically, not much • My calories are still hanging around my maintenance level (although I'm prioritising protein a lot more), I'm still training 4/5 times a week and I'm still predominantly lifting weights • However, I'm working more to tempo and learning how to really work my muscles effectively, I'm overloading them progressively and most importantly for me I'm having fun. My weight hasn't massively changed (maybe 1 or 2lbs down) but that isn't my goal • A few years ago I was massively focused on the number on the scales; i developed a huge food guilt, I ignored hunger cues and I feared dining out because I obsessed over being in control. Now I'm more focused on my health, and I've dined out, ordered takeaways AND enjoyed one too many Aperol Spritzers on several occasions • Non of these fill me with fear because I've learnt to trust myself, my body and I know that one day / night of indulging isn't going to undo my hard-work.
