Late night sk8 thoughts.

Thinking abt how reki really puts his whole heart into everything he loves. Hes an encyclopedia of knowledge on skateboarding, from the different techniques and skills, to the biards and decks and different wheels . He could make anyone a perfectly catered to board with a matching amazing paint job. He loves it more than anything.

Then his friends. When he likes someone, he will put all his care and attention into making them happy and sharing memories together. I think that comes from being the oldest of 4 siblings, with 3 younger sisters hes the goofy brother who makes them laugh. When Langa put some attention to learning how to skateboard, Reki would show him everything and it just made their friendship boom faster. The thing I love the most abt him with others is how he treats miya. Theyre like annoying cousins who love each other to death but bully each other whenever possible. But the minute someone is mean to miya or makes him cry, he goes into ass kicking mode.

So when we see how he reacts when others don't give him the same kind of attention and affection, it can fuel his inferiority complex. He wants to be seen and appreciated, be equal to others he adores, but how can he be when they won't even look at him as if he is an equal.

How he sees it, he is lesser than. Disposal.

HE IS ANYTHING BUT! but its hard to see what other people see in you unless they say it. Which is what makes reki and langas reconciliation so sweet to me. Reki never asks to be showered with compliments, but Langa does anyway. He finally gets to see how Langa sees him. And it is overwhelming in an amazing way.

I love reki kyan :)
