OC Tag Game
Got tagged by @starknstarwars thanks very much!
Will give out some no pressure tags to @swtorpadawan, @a-master-procrastinator, @dream-of-tanalorr, @imperial-topaz2003, @voidendron and anyone else that sees this and wants to give it a go!
favorite oc - Amarra Kine
I have fallen so hard for my girl Amarra. She is a force for political change yet has no vision for the future. She is one of the most powerful individuals in the empire yet has no ambition for personal power. She loves her family more than anything and yet she is completely alone in the empire. She is the deadliest warrior in the galaxy yet she wants peace for herself and her people. She is a mess of contradictions and I love her for it.
Tumblr media
newest oc - Lana Kine
Lana is my OC Kelsa Kine's youngest child. Lana was named after Kelsa's mother Lana Beniko.
(Lana is in the background and Kelsa is in the foreground)
Tumblr media
oldest oc - Ryscha Kine
When I made the decision to give SWTOR another chance at the start of the pandemic, I made Ryscha. She began as a semi-self insert before I just started making my Kine Family of OCs and she became her own person. (I did have two previous SWTOR characters that I made in like 2012 but I never really developed them into actual characters)
Tumblr media
meanest oc - Avaraxi Dagan
My mad scientist OC that will happily vivisect anyone if it gets them more usable data points. They did vivisect and ran numerous experiments on Kelsa Kine, even harvesting some of her eggs for later which is how Lana Kine and her siblings came to be.
Also diversity win! The mad scientist that's running unethical experiments on you is non-binary!
Tumblr media
softest oc - Bryala Kine
All Bryala wants in life is to be a good person and not disappoint those closest to her. And if she can help others along the way then she'll happily do so.
Tumblr media
most aloof/standoffish oc - Keras'eren'naru
She is a Chiss that believes in Chiss supremacy. Everyone else is beneath her and her people.
Tumblr media
dumbest (affectionate) oc - Inara Almari
She spent her early young adult life raiding dangerous tombs and ruins on the off chance that there might be ancient knowledge she can study. She will also forget about lab safety procedures if she gets too carried away while running experiments. Because she focuses so much on her work she was captured by Zakuulan forces on three separate occasions and all three times resulted in her being rescued by Ryscha Kine who eventually took her on as an apprentice. Inara might have also accidentally infected Ryscha with the rakghoul plague while developing a vaccine. Whoops sorry Master!
Tumblr media
smartest oc - Serra Kine
I mean she helped develop the refined Children of the Emperor procedures for Vitiate. Was trusted to develop a Children of the Emperor 2.0 generation using children actually sired by the Voice of the Emperor. While doing all this successful force experimentation, she also planed out a coup against Vitiate (which while unsuccessful in her life was more or less carried out by her daughters Amarra and Ryscha). She also discovered Nathema on her own and managed to negotiate an alliance with the spirits of Marka Ragnos, Naga Sadow, Tulak Hord and Exar Kun on Yavin IV to help her take down Vitiate.
Tumblr media
horniest oc - Élise Kine and Braken Rist
This married couple enjoy dominating the other nobles of Alderaan in their spare time and will also happily engage in the whole sleep with a target before killing them assassination special. They usually go at it again with each other after said assassinations too.
Tumblr media
oc you'd bang - Damar Nakash
Damar is kinky, caring and enjoys making his partners quiver. Also those sith ridges are always mmmm
Tumblr media
oc you'd be best friends with irl - Inara Almari
I love folks that have special interests and hyper-fixations. Listening to them info dump passionately is always great and I enjoy learning new things that way. Inara fits that bill. She is also the right type of dumb ass that I would probably laugh a lot with her

happy ana maite day ❤️
it’s officially been a year since I finally reattempted playing swtor - back in 2015, I’d made a gunslinger who never made it past coruscant, and promptly got distracted from the game - which means that it’s also been that long now since I created my very complex sith. she’s gone through a few overhauls and quite a bit of growth since then, especially since she likes to run off with her own development (and continues to still give me trouble nailing down canon), but she has a special place in my heart out of all the ocs I’ve made throughout the years.

One thing about the Imperial Agent and Shadow of Revan/Ziost: the romance with Lana is adorbs on the other seven classes, IMHO. On the Agent? It's kind of clear that Lana doesn't trust Cipher Nine as far as she can throw her and it shows up in a lot of the Agent-specific conversations. It makes the romance a little awkward - and is probably one reason that both of my Brynns have flirted with Major Anri and not done the Lana romance. It just doesn't seem to fit, exactly. In KOTFE and KOTET Brynn 2.0 and Lana have a really good friendship and working relationship but again - the romance just doesn't seem to fit them. Here's what Lana says to the Wrath and the Bounty Hunter in the first cantina convo, vs. what she says to Cipher Nine.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lana (to Auyrini, Bounty Hunter): You're of great importance to the Empire, yet you exist outside of it, Hunter...I can't think of anyone better suited to be on my side right now. Lana (to Viri, Sith Warrior): I'm far from weak, but I'm only one Sith. Whatever's coming, I can't stop it alone, Wrath. And to the Agent:
Tumblr media
Lana (to Brynn, Imperial Agent): Someone like you, Commander - most would never trust you. But you're practically the only one I trust right now. Help me unravel this mystery. Here's Lana waxing poetic about staying on Rishi.
Tumblr media
Lana: I've never met a people quite like the Rishii. Pragmatic, accommodating, reasonable - if it wasn't for the weather, I'd consider staying. The answer all characters gave was the same: "I could see making a home here." She responds really warmly to the Sith Warrior, Sith Inquisitor and Bounty Hunter who agree they'd like to stay. To the Sith she says this, and she's pretty flirty:
Tumblr media
Lana (to Viri): Really. New seat of the Empire, maybe. But to the Agent...ouch. This is not a flirt.
Tumblr media
Lana (to Cipher Nine): Really. Hardly a hub of galactic secrets, current circumstances aside.
To be fair I understand why Lana would have been very suspicious of Cipher Nine- their entire deal is that they deceive and go undercover and try to gain others' trust. But it's sad in terms of the romance.

Video Games Equal, if not Better, than the Movies They’re Based On.
- Spider-Man 1 and 2: The Movie Games (based on Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man films; most especially the console versions).
- The Warriors (a prequel/interquel to the movie with the same name).
- The Mummy Demastered (based on 2017′s lackluster The Mummy).
- Terminator: Future Shock, SkyNET, and Resistance (based on the first two movies).
- Alien: Isolation (a sequel and prequel to Alien and Aliens respectively; better than the unfortunate Colonial Marines too).
- X-Men Origins: Wolverine - The Game (again, based on its lackluster movie of the same name).
- Peter Jackson’s King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie.
- The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay and Assault on Dark Athena (admittedly loads better than their tied-in movie).
- Goldeneye N64 (among other James Bond games with equal or superior caliber).
- Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith - The Game.
- The Lion King (by Westwood Studios; yes, not only the same developer as the Command and Conquer games, but also the one with the notorious “Just Can’t Wait to be King” level).
- Disney’s Aladdin - Capcom and Virgin Games versions (really impressive in their own unique ways).
- Disney’s The Jungle Book (by Virgin Games; based on the original animated movie).
- TRON 2.0 (the sequel to TRON even before the alternate universe Tron: Legacy showed up).
- Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis (not only way better than the Last Crusade adaptation, but also the REAL IJ4 compared to Kingdom of the Crystal Skull).
- Blade Runner 1997 (not only an interquel to the original movie, but also made by Westwood Studios; will be getting an Enhanced Edition courtesy of Nightdive Studios in the next year or so).

(Fandom meme) B and N 👀
Thank you for the asks, Pinky! @palepinkycat I’m gonna stick to SWTOR for this one since I p much live in this fandom now, y’all are never getting rid of me. I’m like the lil funky ghost that comes with the apartment 🤪😂
This got long again oops, so under a cut to avoid eating/lagging ppl’s dashes bc of the gifs. No specific trigger warnings tho, so continue without a worry, this is just because it got kinda long :P
B - A pairing you initially didn’t consider but someone changed your mind
I have a couple, actually!
1) Lana/Koth (and by extension Saarai/Lana/Koth) - this one actually started as a silly animatic idea to the song “Sorry I Stole Your Girlfriend” by Stereo Skyline (which, yes, is also where their ship name comes from ;) XD) which I shared with one of my friends on Discord (who afaik doesn’t have a tumblr, but they’re gr8 and I love them very much owo), and then in a cider-tipsy 3am revelation my brain gremlins took control and put to me the idea of “But what if they ALL kissed?” basically. Fren encouraged me to do it bc they thought it sounded cute af, and around that time I also started vibing with Bagel over Discord, who further jumped on the “polyam triad gremlin train” and that was that. So y’all can blame my anonymous amazing Discord friend and @darth-bagel for encouraging me to make the OT3 a thing even tho there was pretty much NO content of the sort (I think there’s one other Lana/Koth fic on AO3??) So this is literally a case of:
Tumblr media
They’re very cute, I love them SO much they are literally my new favourite ship to write. I would die for all three of them 🥺🥺🥺 & the haters can die mad about it lmao
2) Sith Inquisitor(F! mostly for me but ya know, I think M!Inquisitor could work just as well :’3)/Andronikos: at first I was very reticent to try this one, bc I started out with a M!Inq and I was worried Andronikos would be like Doc 2.0, but I saw a lot of nice fanfics for them and decided to try it out with Ni’kasi and that’s it. I love them now. I would die for them just as much as the OT3 XD
3) F!Jedi Consular/F!Sith Warrior: Again, because there is just a stunning lack of this content on AO3, see the gif in #1 😂  This is 100% Ariano’s fault, they’ve wormed their way into my angstyfluff brainrot. This pairing has so much potential guys. THE DRAMA. THE ✨A N G S T✨ I cannot talk about it enough 🥺
Honourable mentions for: Jaesa/Vette and Ashara/Jaesa which are rlly darn cute, and also bc it was the first longfic I ever read, and idk the author’s tumblr or if they’re even active anymore, but I need to go back and re-read the fic one day: F!Jedi Knight/F!Sith Warrior and Jaesa/Vette/Kira because the way they wrote them in that fic was so good I cri ;A;
N - Name three things you wish you saw more or in your main fandom (or a fandom of choice)
1) Repeatable 👏 Companion 👏 and 👏 romance 👏 cutscenes!!! BIOWARE. GIVE ME. NOW. I don’t care if it’s the same 3 - 4 animations/cutscenes that can be replayed at my leisure/whenever I want, I WANT IT. ghsyugyudfd
2) More vanilla companion and romance content in general. A lot of my toons have romanced either Koth or Lana so we get a fair bit in KOTFEET but after that even they haven’t had much. Poor Vano hasn’t had a decent convo with Vette, who she considers like a sister, since her re-recruitment in KOTFE. GIVE ME CONTENT, DEVS, I MISS THEM *stamps my tiny feet* Also, leading in from this: more “neutral”/non-romance dialogue options without having to be a dick to ppl, please?!?! Just bc I don’t wanna smash doesn’t mean I wanna be mean (to everyone. Some of them deserve it, but most of them, I would actually like to be friends with, pwease?! XD)
3) More varied companions!! There’s a whole goddamn galaxy of REALLY COOL interesting species, why are like 90% of our perma-companions all human Bioware?! I know you can do better than that. Gimme more Purebloods, Nautolans, Mirialans, hell, every species tbh. I just think they’re neat ok.
Tumblr media
Honourable mentions: POLYAM RELATIONSHIPS IN CANON: LET ME KISS THEM BOTH BIOWARE, YOU COWARDS! ✨ Vaylin “redemption” arc ✨ (and by that I don’t necessarily mean that she has to join the Alliance but at least a tiny sort of rapport with an Outlander who is willing to try enough to plant the thought in her head that they hate Valkorion as much as she does, who can help Vaylin get away from all the conditioning and let her disappear off to Voss or wherever she needs to go to heal herself from all that trauma bc Vaylin deserved better goddammit!), more “repeatable” content in KOTFEET style, I know it’s probably reaching/impossible but I really want the option to rerun the class stories without having to make another clone ok. I’m gonna run outta those slots eventually bioware P L S 🥺 , options to “recruit” long-running NPCs from the other expacs that we never see again e.g. Cytharat and others I can’t think of rn but like...lemme?? pls, bioware 🥺🥺, aaanddd finally, more female companions that aren’t your padawan/apprentice/significantly at a power loss in comparison to you??? it’s super creepy c’mon ughh.

gonna ramble abt aa’dnn under the cut bc i never talk abt my ocs backstories on here lol
basically aa’dnn is the grandson of my sith warrior, halceann. he ends up as one of her apprentices along with my other ocs Antygonne, Helios and Dy’anna, but he’s not really super interested in being a sith other than like. to keep up the sort of family tradition (that skipped a generation and also technically comes from his terrible adoptive great-grandfather’s side of the family) and to like. impress his grandmother.
its funny playing as in game aa’dnn bc he’s like...... not born yet in canon lol
ANYWAY he’s sort of a dumbass and he mostly just follows the other three in whatever stupid idea they have at the time. helios and antygonne are being like trained to take over after halceann retires (whihc she will do, one day) and dy’anna has like. this big idea that she wants to get a seat on the dark council one day but then aa’dnn is just kind of the quiet, shy, bookish one of the group (he gets it from his dad lol considering his mother is just halceann 2.0 in terms of personality)
ANYWAy yeah thats. aa’dnn
OH also he had a rough childhood but like his grandmother got him out of it and like sort of babies him which doesnt help with him being anxious and shy because he just relies on her for a lot of things

" Ren" the leader of the Knights of Ren before Kylo, in the first issue of Rise of Kylo Ren, comes off as a more interesting and threatening villain then Kylo ever did.
I will forever be pissed off and upset at all the wasted potential in these sequels, particularly the ones wasted by Jar Jar Abrams. So much of everything he said in interviews and promo tours was just superficial hype to get people to go see his movie, as if the fact that this isn't a franchise ingrained within popular culture that people were going to line up to see wasn't already an established fact.
Don't get me wrong, I understand the reason for a director to hype up their movies. You want to get people interested enough to see it, but the way Abrams teases things that are either blink-and-you-miss-it scenes or not there at all is infuriating. From him teasing and taunting us with the promise of a same-sex kiss (which turned out to he between two background characters with either no name or no bearing on the plot) to his repeated talks about the Knights of Ren since THE FORCE AWAKENS.
The Knights of Ren were one of those things that had massive potential, being a group of Dark Side warriors that were a part of the pre-established Sith thatbwe got in both the original and prequel trilogies. They were something new and supposedly other members of Luke's Jedi School that followed Kylo to the Dark Side when he "fell" to Snoke's machinations. Instead, what do we get? An ominous shot of them standing in the rain during Rey's Force vision in TFA, and them acting as the Elite Praetorian Guard (those red guys that protected Snoke) 2.0, that's it.
No, I'm sorry, they were also there to walk down the hall of a star destroyer in THE RISE OF SKYWALKER so that a Stormtrooper could say "Goals" to prove that Disney and Lucasfilm, companies run by obnoxiously rich old people, can connect to the young peoples.
We had a group of Force-sensitive warriors, sort of the dark side version of what the Jedi were before in the prequels, and they just stand there. They have no lines, they don't really have an action sequences (aside from that incredibly brief fight against Ben/Kylo) and have no real impact on the plot of the film at all. Like Finn and Poe and Rose and the rest of the Resistance, the Knights of Ren were just padding to make the movie longer than it would have been otherwise if they'd done what they had wanted to, which was just focus on Kylo and Rey.
Granted, with Disney controlling this franchise I don't know what is or what isn't canon anymore. I don't know if the Kylo Ren comics contradict any of this and quite frankly, I don't care if they do. Like everything else involved with this franchise since Disney assumed the helm, I shouldn't have to turn to extra material to understand what's going on in the main movie. That's lazy and just reveals that they only care about maximizing their profits, not about telling a decent story.
The same goes for Kylo himself.
It kills me sometimes when I have to tag one of my rants as Anti Kylo, because I don't hate the character. This character had the potential to be one of the best villains in cinematic history, and definitely the best in the Star Wars franchise. Putting aside the clear indication that he was Frankensteined together from at least three characters from the Expanded Universe, he was so different than Vadar, of whom he was obviously meant to be in the sequels. Unlike Anakin/Vadar, who was the living embodiment of "The road to hell is paved with good intentions", Kylo willingly chose, over and over again, go follow the dark side. Aside from Sidious, who we saw only as an adult fully committed to the Sith, we haven't had a villain like that in Star Wars canon.
But when it comes to watching these movies, I don't know whether to root for his redemption or for his demise because they don't tell us which way they want to go. He willingly chooses to kill Snoke and assume the mantle of Supreme Leader of the fascist regime but then we see him hesitate to outright kill his mother. They didn't know whether to make him a villain or an anti-hero and that's why with the exception of the die-hard Reylos, his "redemption" and subsequent death had no emotional bearing, because it felt like a last minute decision. We didn't see him struggle with the light or the dark, just having verbal confirmation that Ren "was struggling" as confirmed by Snoke. They started out his journey back in TFA by showing him as the typical man who has emotional outbursts when things don't go his way, but we're supposed to ignore all that because he has a heart-to-heart with his "dad" (really his own conscience).
Kylo and the Knights of Ren could have been great villains, but most of that was just in their potential, like most of the ST characters, because J.J. and Kennedy and Disney obviously had no desire to actually deliver on any of that potential.

I decided that I could use 10-15% of my tax return on something frivolous and indulgent, so I went down to my local comic book shop and purchased a few Star Wars anthologies. I got Captain Phasma’s comic (quite good), both volumes of Vader’s newest series (excellent), and the Infinities collection.
I was not expecting the Infinities collection to be my absolute favourite out of all of those, but here we are. SPOILERS below the cut, because this comic series is FANTASTIC and I want to highlight my favourite points about it.
Okay so first of all, the Infinities collection is essentially a series of AU stories set in the Original Trilogy timeline. There are four story arcs total, one each dealing with an alternate timeline for each movie, and a fourth one that is simply a comic book adaptation of the original rough draft. Each one is better than the last, but I’mma breeze over the first three just so you can get a taste of this smorgasbord of awesome before I hyperfocus on my favourite one.
So the first story deals with the “what if” storyline of if Luke had missed his shot on the first Death Star. Essentially, it detonates too early on its way down, the rebel fleet is routed, Han and Chewie hightail it out there to save their own skins, Leia gets captured, and Luke goes straight to Dagobah. In this one, we get such treats as Imperial!Leia, Blaster-wielding Imperial!C-3PO, a restored Imperial Senate, Yoda actually getting off his ass and leaving Dagobah to confront... Tarkin?, an Imperial Guard fight scene, and the whole-ass fucking Death Star ramming into goddamned-fucking-Coruscant. It’s a glorious hot mess and once I breezed by Yoda’s typical pontificating, I loved every single panel.
The second story answers what would have happened if Luke had died in the snow on Hoth. Despite the pretty sobering premise, there’s an ongoing humor point of Han thinking HE’S the next chosen one and has to train to be a Jedi, but it’s clearly Leia. Insert hilarious misunderstandings here. Boba Fett shows up unmasked in this one, and because of a single scene I’m not hopelessly shipping him with Lando. In this story, we have things like Jedi!Leia, lots of beautiful shots of Dagobah landscapes, Cloud City falling, Vader interacting directly with Jabba, Vader interacting directly with C-3PO, a trippy inside-Vader’s-head sequence, and the epic conclusion happening in Dagobah’s swamps. Leia is a constant treasure throughout this one, and it makes me sorely disappointed that we never got lightsaber-wielding Leia in the actual movies.
The third story asks what would have happened if Han Solo’s rescue from Jabba the Hutt had failed, and is by far the best of the “what if” stories. In this one, Jabba has an early demise in a massive explosion that takes his entire palace out with him. But Fett still has Solo, so our friends set off on a long chase to hunt him down. In the meantime, Yoda is whining about how magical-Force-fate isn’t doing it right, and Luke should have come back by now to complete his training. He dies mid-whine, the Emperor feels his death, and sends Vader to Dagobah. Luke also feels his death, and also ends up going to Dagobah. The rest of our heroes find Fett, Leia steals Slave I along with Solo-the-still-carbonitecicle, but by the time they thaw him out he’s permanently blind. Meanwhile Luke’s been captured by Vader, we have a ton of father-son angst and attempts at bonding, and Leia tries to go and rescue him. SHE gets captured as well, and they’re both taken before the Emperor on Death Star 2.0. There’s a scuffle, but Vader can’t bring himself to kill his kids. He loses an arm (again) and as the rebel fleet attacks all around, the Emperor disappears into the shadows and Leia insists on taking wounded Vader with them. Luke happily agrees, and they flee the scene. The next time we see our intrepid heroes, they are joined by Vader, still very Vader, but dressed in a white version of his suit. Together they plan on discovering the location of the Emperor and finishing their fight. It’s... honestly glorious. Vader has no major moment-of-regret or tear-filled turn-around, he simply thanks Leia for saving him. He just wants to be with his kids, and if that means he’s helping the rebellion then WELP looks like he’s a rebel now. It’s delightful.
But even as awesome as that story was, my favourite is still “The Star Wars”. It’s adapted directly from the very first rough-draft screenplay by Lucas, and even though it is certainly familiar, it’s definitely NOT the same story. Lightsabers are everywhere, and generic characters have white-blue ones while Important People like the main characters all have red ones. The Galactic Empire is literally just an empire that supplanted a PREVIOUS Empire. The Jedi-Bendu and the Knights of Sith are also very literally just rival warrior clans that have nothing to do with quasi-religious drivel and while they have mysterious powers the only reference we have to the Force is when they stay “May the force of others be with you all”. I just... I LOVE this aspect of this story. It makes it so much more enjoyable.
Luke Skywalker is a grizzled old Jedi who used to be a top general and then war advisor, with little in the way of posh diplomacy, and who is not shy about saying things like “War is by business”. He’s buddies with one Kane Starkiller, whose son Annikin is a teenage-ish Jedi warrior-in-training that Skywalker takes on as his Padawan. Leia is the spoiled and scrappy princess that he ends up having to protect, and while she’s kind of a disappointment in the story many of the other characters are definitely not. C-3PO and R2-D2 are in this one as well, but AJKFLSFHDS HOLY SHIT R2 TALKS, that threw me for a fucking LOOP I’ll tell you. Han Solo is a massive green alien who reminds me a little of a scaly version of Khem Val except Solo is old buddies with Skywalker. Solo gets a red lightsaber too. He big. He hot. Sarc like.
Anyway. Darth Vader’s in this one, but he has no face-covering helmet and is instead a rather engaging man with one red eye. He’s not a Sith, though. That role goes to one Prince Valorum, who is an unfairly pretty man in black with a breath mask (most of the time).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(apologies for picture quality, I took these with my phone). It didn’t take me long to ship Vader with Valorum, but honestly Val’s got better things to do in this story. Namely, saving Annikin’s ass and breaking him out of interrogation. They even have that little “we’re not so different” moment, but it’s literally just... rather lighthearted banter while they plow their way through stormtroopers and find the princess. They rescue Leia (again) together, and end up... in a garbage masher.
Tumblr media
(I clearly have a thing for Valorum he is my favourite in this, okay.) Their banter is adorable, they think they’re about to die, but a clan of massive Wookiees that look like hairy versions of Garrazeb Orrelios show up, the day is saved, big explosions happen, and our suave Sith Prince Valorum is standing right along with our more well-known heroes celebrating Annikin’s new status as Lord Protector.
It’s... it’s so charming. The whole story. It’s deep enough that you can get into the gritty wartime tragedies happening all around, there’s family bonding and humor and decent people confronting shitty-ass people, but it doesn’t get in over its own head and the characters are just... people. On different sides. Doing their best and doing their thing. Sometimes they’re swapping sides when it makes more sense, and there’s zero angst about it. It’s... refreshing, honestly. The romance subplot between Annikin and Leia is really contrived and kind of painful to watch, but it takes up so little of the story it can easily be ignored. It’s beautifully and expressively drawn, moves fast, and is pretty solidly put together. I really like it. I think I’m gonna go read it all again. XD

SWTOR characters meme
I was tagged by a couple of people
Do you have more Imperial or Republic characters?
It's about even - I've rolled so many characters and AU/different versions of characters that it tends to balance out.
Which class do you play as the most?
Trooper or agent. I also have a wide variety of inquisitors and jedi knights (though I don't actually like the JK story much so I try to get through it as quickly as possible).
Which race do you play as the most?
Humans or twi'leks probably. I also have a lot of cyborgs and low level mirialans and Sith, if we go solely by number and ignore whether they're played much at all.
How many have completed Kotfe/Kotet?
Kotfe - A few...Amitia (JK), Olympia (JC), Montclair/Not-Ayrs (trooper), Evil Elara (trooper), Malicineve (SW), Mina (IA), Vharmir (smuggler), Amurri (BH), Veresia - OG and Fic versions (SI)
Kotet - Amitia, Malicineve
How many have completed up to Copero?
In addition to Amitia/Malicineve, I skipped to Iokath and beyond on Montclair. All three are up to date and have completed Copero. I am not a fan of anything from iokath on so it's a bit of a struggle...
Who stayed loyal to their class romance?
Everyone but OG Veresia did. I actually really like her and Andronikos together but I didn't have a ton of options for romancing Koth since Fic!Veresia's murderous tendencies made him not interested in her. Otherwise, I haven't really had any interest in breaking up any of my class romances.
Who started a romance with Lana, Theron or Koth? I have a DS Inquisitor romancing Lana, but he's stuck in KOTFE somewhere. I'm kind of waiting to see who the next F/F romance is since Lana doesn't fit well with most of my characters and I'm not a huge fan.
I have an agent who will romance Theron at some point but he's still in the class story so...
OG Veresia is romancing Koth (as mentioned in the previous answer) - she's super LS and not at all like her "canon" personality so they work well together.
Who is your oldest (having played the longest) oc?
My oldest character is Lesaberisa, the Jedi consular I made when my WoW guild moved to SWTOR. She's stuck at level 50 because I stopped playing her - got tired of getting ganked on the pvp server we were on and all my WoW guildies went back to WoW, so I moved on to another server and started fresh.
My oldest active characters are probably Amitia (JK) and OG Montclair (trooper)
Who is your newest?
I have an agent named Gerold who I modeled after Gerold Hightower from ASOIAF - basically a more or less honorable man who undermines that honor/his reputation by remaining loyal to an unjust king/system. He'll be my temple-mancer since any possibility of Mina doing so is now gone.
I have a few other fairly new characters to try out romances or alignments and stuff but I haven't really gotten around to playing them.
Who is your favorite?
From a gameplay point of view, I love playing my knights and warriors the most. From an in-game story point of view, probably Amurri (neutralish but grimly practical bounty hunter) or Montclair 2.0 (Swashbuckling jedi knight)
From a fun-to-write perspective, my favorites are Ayrs and Amitia
From a "actually interesting/nuanced character to write" perspective - Veresia
I am going to tag @depizan, @frauzet and @tracinyad

My sweet baby girl arriving on Tython for the first time
Unlike her big sister, Amarra, I’ve reworked Ryscha’s background several times and as a result her overall character has been far more nebulous than I’d like.
The solid background bits I have are her being a Child of the Emperor 2.0 experiment with one of Vitiate’s Voices her biological father. But her mother, Serra Kine, was going to usurp the experiment in order to end Vitiate’s grip on the Empire. But before any of those plans could be put in motion, Serra was assassinated by the Republic and baby Ryscha was taken from the wreckage of her home by the Jedi.
Going to ramble below the cut on thoughts for her background before arriving on Tython for the first time
Currently, I’m thinking that after she was kidnapped by the Jedi, she was placed in a cell on Belsavis where the Order just left her. Out of sight, out of mind for the incredibly powerful and likely dangerous baby daughter of the Emperor.
So, Ryscha grew up in isolation with only droids attending to her and her needs. This led to her learning Binary as her first language. It was only after an organic finally physically checked in on her and she chirped and whistled like a droid that the prison reprogrammed the droid attendants to actually speak in basic to her.
Thinking that Ryscha was also told that the reason she was in isolation was because she was sick and in quarantine. This sparked an interest in medicine and she would request access to medical texts, becoming incredibly knowledgeable though inexperienced. She wanted to become a doctor so that she could help people like herself, remaining unaware that she is not actually sick and is in a secret prison.
Eventually, (post Treaty of Coruscant) the Jedi now have the time to finally take an interest in her. By this time, she was seven and had medical knowledge that would rival most in the Republic Medical Corps. She wanted nothing more than to be a healer but the Jedi were more interested in her raw Force potential (a result of the Force experiments that her mother conducted on her in the womb). They want to use her as a weapon against the Sith. Thinking of Bastila’s whole “What greater weapon is there than to turn an enemy to your cause? To use their own knowledge against them?”
More militant jedi such as Battlemaster Jun Seros begin to put her through intense combat training and would give her texts that detailed Jedi and Republic heroism to try and indoctrinate her into believing in the complete eradication of the Sith people and the infallibility of the Order and Republic. She reads the texts but is more enamored with Jedi healers than the great warriors of the Order, believing that she could one day be a great healer too (much to the frustration of her militant jedi instructors)
IDK I’m just struggling with her character

Sit down and buckle up because for the 420th time I’m gunna try and do shit with my stories. This (demon) train is ready to run off the tracks.
Characters:
Reyna Verel: Sith Warrior. Emperor’s Wrath. Outlander/ Alliance Commander. Valky was in her head. No idea what she’s doing. Theron and Reyna are the impulse control for the disaster half.
Jyvora Verel: Former Jedi Knight. Hero of Tython. Outlander 2.0/ Vice-Alliance Commander. Kind of an idiot. Arcann + Jyvora = the disaster half
Zara Verel: Cipher 9. Alliance member. A good Imperial. Has her shit together. Drinks whatever is SW universe’s version of Vodka instead of water. Quinn’s organized girlfriend.
Aria Verel: Bounty Hunter Mando who takes shit from no one. Likes to blow stuff up. Torian is 75% of her impulse control.
Nerress Kallig: Inquisitor/ Darth Nox. Pretends to be huge jerk. Is actually a cinnamon roll. Likes playing with ancient force artifacts. Just wants to play with her sleen.
Treyl’waan: Smuggler. Just wants to sleep. Is constantly stressed. Humor is his coping mechanism. Doesn’t know what he’s doing. Hylo’s bud. Has a thing for Vette. He wrote a poem. Accidentally sent it to Reyna. A mortified Twi’lek fluff ball.
How they’re all related.
Reyna and Jyvora are twin sisters. Zara and Aria are their cousins on their father’s side. Nerress is a friend of Reyna’s.
Treyl’waan is my stressed space pirate who doesn’t know why he’s here (aka me).

Star Wars’ five best lightsaber battles, explained
“This weapon is your life.” Those wise words about the lightsaber from Obi-Wan Kenobi to a young Anakin Skywalker resonate throughout the Star Wars films, positively glowing with mortal meaning.
And ever since Force-sensitive warriors began wielding their plasma blades in 1977, the lightsaber duel has been a central Star Wars spectacle. From Luke Skywalker to Yoda, from Darth Vader to grandson Kylo Ren, these battles are more than physical showdowns — they are windows into who has greater power or purpose, whether the result is apparent victory or higher self-sacrifice.
There are numerous battles to choose from when debating the hand-to-hand highlights. With this month’s “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” seemingly wrapping up the great family saga, The Washington Post’s resident Star Wars nerds have ranked the top five lightsaber duels:
Darth Vader has seldom looked more terrifying than when he ignites his red saber in a pitch-black hallway and tears through rebel fighters. Will the Empire’s stolen Death Star plans, now in rebel hands, escape his gloved grasp?
Athleticism & choreography
2 out of 5 lightsabers
Unlike other classic Darth Vader scenes, this is one against the many — and the many are overmatched. Practically a march of mass destruction, this striking sequence is less a duel than a decimation. Take a look at our illustrated break down of this scene below.
Veteran Force warriors Yoda and Darth Sidious go head to head. Will Sidious live to rescue apprentice Darth Vader from his scarring and charred defeat to Obi-Wan — and will Jedi Master Yoda be forced into exile?
Athleticism & choreography
At last, George Lucas has the technical tools to stage a high-quality duel between a live actor and an entirely CG character — with the freedom to create any maneuver his team can dream up.
Former dear friends, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) and apprentice turned Sith Lord Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen), square off. Can Obi-Wan prevent Anakin from fully turning to the Dark Side?
Athleticism & choreography
The lengthy mano-a-mano movement through the mining complex is a flashy mix of flips, kicks, leaps and clashing lightsabers.
Father vs. son 2.0: Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and Darth Vader (voice of James Earl Jones) meet again after the Dark Lord of the Sith defeated Luke on the Cloud City of Bespin. Now, can Luke resist as his father and the Emperor (Ian McDiarmid) try to lure him to the Dark Side?
Athleticism & choreography
Nothing groundbreaking, but the shift from a horizontal fight, including dramatic silhouettes, to Luke looking down on Vader after gaining a superior vertical position is marked by deft transitions.
In “The Phantom Menace,” Sith villain Darth Maul (Ray Park) travels to Naboo, where he faces off against Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn (Liam Neeson) and Jinn’s Padawan apprentice, Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) in what’s been dubbed “Duel of the Fates.”
Athleticism & choreography
The original trilogy duels look inelegant compared with this massive step up in physical artistry, especially from Park, a trained martial artist who moves like a stalking jungle cat. Stunt coordinator Nick Gillard told Vulture that he had to “invent an entirely new form of sword fighting” for the exhaustively rehearsed scene.
Across four decades of Star Wars films, there are so many great moments of conflict and combat — just the types of duels we’re looking for.
Our “honorable mention” scenes for this list, for example, include other battles from the original trilogy, such as when Luke and Vader square off in “The Empire Strikes Back,” or when Obi-Wan meets Darth in “A New Hope” — the latter a rematch potent with a meaning that ripples through every movie that followed.
And in the current Disney trilogy, we especially relish seeing Rey and Kylo take on Team Snoke in “The Last Jedi,” as well as Kylo and Rey fighting in the snow in “The Force Awakens.”
Yet unless “Rise of Skywalker” gives us something spectacular, the “Duel of the Fates” fight soars like young Obi-Wan, technically and narratively head and shoulders above all others.
