TSM to TS3 Nobleman Outfit conversion part 3

I teased this outfit back in October... Now I’m finally uploading it because I’ve found a way to fix bone assignments that everyone else probably knew about already lol. This outfit is decidedly not medieval, but it doesn’t make it less good.

The outfit is enabled for everyday, formalwear and career, and it has all morphs including the paternity morph. Polycount is gameplay-friendly, and it needs invisible shoes (imagine if one day I upload an outfit that doesn’t need invisible shoes... now that would’ve been a plot twist lol). If the outfit is behaving out of line, please let me know, I’ll find a way to bully it into working properly.

Welcome to The Kingdom Of Kaodina

The Kingdom Of Kaodina welcomes you to our bustling yet ancient town! Our townsfolk are living their best lives as their ancestors did before them. It's a simple life in Kaodina but luckily, the townsfolk seem to have special abilities to make it a little more exciting! There's mischievous fairies, wicked witches, wild werewolves, vicious vampires, and even beautiful mermaids everywhere! There are fantasy homes, ruins, and lots of parks for your sim to explore!

I have played Moonlight Falls and Dragon Valley far too many times. I wanted a new fantasy/medieval/tudor world to play in so I decided to try making my own! I found this gorgeous map by JanasCreatives and just had to make my very own perfect new tudor town!

Interesting Characters

There are a lot of townies from Dragon Valley and Moonlight Falls here: The MacAnna Sisters, Robin Hooley, The Dolans, The O'Connells, The Goodfellows, The MacDuffs, Chaucey Grimm, Gladsten Farmwell, John Burb, Siobahn Murphy, Bailey and Chester Swain.

The Mudd Family is a farming family! They love to get their hands in the mud to plant, build, and more! You'll see them tending to their garden on their lovely lot all of the time!

The Blossom Fairies are best fairy friends and probably 99% responsible for all of the shenanigans around town.

Cordelia Morgan has been a resident of The Kingdom Of Kaodina since the beginning…mostly because they can't keep her out of Kaodina Bay. She is a daughter of the sea king!

Flora Root loves her little house on the peninsula. She can practice her alchemy potions, let her garden thrive, and all with an absolutely beautiful view!

Splash Mountain Rollercoaster by soocoolsim - set as a beach, your sims can lay under the sun, swim, snorkel, play in the water, or even ride an amazing rollercoaster!

Camp Plumbob by ruthlesskk - even medieval sims still like to camp so bring them down to this beach and pick your favorite tent!

Royal Bulldog Pub by XOX1 - you can definitely meet some interesting folks at this dive bar!

The Old Mill - a smaller version of SimGuruKitty's Old Mill, you can catch only the best fish here. It's the town's best secret

The Three Broomsticks by elle0808 - a lovely cafeteria where your sims can enjoy all kinds of different delicacies from around the world

Kaodina Market And Nectary - lots of fun trinkets to find here or sell your own! You will be surprised at the nectar selection as well!

Kaodina Entertainment District is where you will find the grocery store, theater, bijou, and a fun arcade with all games.

The Opera House And Casino is Kaodina's Live Show Venue where you can see your favorite performer, play some casino games, or both!

Country Bear Jamboree by Sandraelle - this is where all of the locals gather to have some fun

Kaodina Library has a lot of books and you can buy some at its bookstore, too! The Vault of Antiquity is here for all of your deep research needs. The Wyeth Institute art gallery is right next door!

Visit the Gypsy Camp by LariFari2009 to purchase potions and glimpse into your future…for a price, of course.

Prosperity Lounge and Casino by Joolster - a dance club with an underground live music room

Notre Dame de Paris by soocoolsim - an absolutely gorgeous recreation of the Notre Dame where your sims can get married, or get buried.

Kaodina Fire And Rescue - a small station on a big lot with everything you need for the firefighter career.

Construction Pete's Junkyard - a small junkyard with lots of treasures to be found!

The Duke Of Bows Renaissance Fair - store venue edited a bit by me and set as the town gym

The Kalua Pool by Snowmoon - a cool oasis pool ready for your next party

DunBroch Archery by Sandraelle - a recreational park where you can practice your archery, martial arts, or just enjoy the scenery

Orchard House - a community garden hangout with a working tractor so you can grab those goodies even faster. Who says a medieval town can't be a little modern?

Other Important Info

Kaodina is a medium world. I have all expansions, all stuff packs, and all store content so I am sure most of it is used in this save. If you do not have some of the items, the game will generate another item in its place. The only expansion not used is PETS so I am not sure how it will perform with pets and horses, etc. but there is plenty of room for them. This is a world save file so you will have to have the world installed in order to play the save file. In this download there is the world download and 3 save files:

KaodinaCommunityLots - this save is only the community lots, no residential houses

KaodinaUnpopulated - this is the final version of the save with zero households

KaodinaPopulated - this is the final version of the save with all households

Anya’s eyes are floating with black spots caused by the constant flashing of cameras, and she wouldn’t have a clue where she was going if it wasn’t for Roy’s hand on her bare back, guiding her through the crowd. They are about fifty feet from the building’s entrance when they are stopped by a strangely familiar woman in a long white dress, a microphone in her hand. She is trailed by a camera man. Anya realises with a jolt of excitement that the woman is Christie Tudor, Entertainment Reporter for Channel 0.

“Roy, does the fact you’re not here tonight with your wife mean that the rumours are true?” she says, thrusting the microphone at his face. Roy looks mildly annoyed for a second then the corners of his mouth reach upwards and he splays his hands in a gesture of good-humoured resignation.

“If you’re referring to the rumours that my wife and I are no longer together then yes, Christie, I can confirm that they’re true,” he says.

“So are you divorced? Or just separated?“ says Christie.

“The divorce was finalised last week,” says Roy.

“What were the reasons for the breakdown of your marriage? Was there a third party involved?”

Anya feels her cheeks growing warm under Christie’s scrutiny. She straightens her back and presses her lips together in a tight smile.

“There was no third party,” says Roy. “It was a mutual decision. My ex-wife is a wonderful woman and she and I remain on the very best of terms. And I’ll continue to fully provide for my four children’s needs, of course. But I’d also like to let your viewers know that I recently met this beautiful young woman, Anya, and…well, she’s amazing. She’s stolen my heart and my soul and I couldn’t be happier. I want her in my life forever.”

“Oh, Roy,” murmurs Anya. Christie turns to her.

“Anya,” she says. “You look absolutely stunning tonight. Can you please tell the people watching at home who made your dress?”

She shoves her microphone towards Anya’s breasts.

“I did,“ says Anya proudly, throwing humility to the wind in the wake of all the compliments she’s been receiving. “I’m a fashion design student.”

Christie’s eyebrows shoot upwards in an expression of exaggerated surprise.

“Woah,” she says. “I’m seriously impressed.”

“Now you know why I’m so in love with her,” says Roy, speaking directly to the camera. “She’s not only beautiful and sexy as hell, but talented and clever too. She’s the total package.”

The 1400s gave way to the incredibly iconic accessories of the 1500s, namely hoods (both Gabled and French) and ruffs. While the end of the Tudor era saw the popularity of headdresses decline in favour of uncovered hair decorated with jewels, diadems, and feathers, prior to that headdresses were a vital part of court dress. In fact, the style of hood worn was often used as a political statement amongst the nobility. Hats had always been in fashion for men, but the 16th century saw them also become a fashion staple for women. CC links and reference images under the cut.

Dance Suite: A Maxis-Match Rococo Clothing Set For C-EF

This was inspired by my frustration with the Store's "Morning in the Garden dress," which is a decent approximation of a robe a la Francaise, if somewhat costume-y. The channels were poorly assigned, the mesh was nowhere near as wide as it ought to have been at the hips, there were no engageantes, but worst of all, there was no maternity morph for the young adults and adults! So I set out and made one. And then I adjusted the channels to make things much more fashionable. Because I can't be the only one to look at extant examples with mix-and-match stomachers, robes, and petticoats and think "YES PLEASE!"

Option one (seen in picture four) has a channel for the robe, the petticoat and bows, the stomacher, and the tucker (1), choker, and engageantes (2).

Option two has a channel for the robe, the bows, the stomacher and bows, and the tucker, choker, and engageantes.

Option three has a channel for the robe and stomacher, the bows, the petticoat, and the tucker, choker, and engageantes.

Option four has a channel for the robe and petticoat, the bows, the stomacher, and the tucker, choker, and engageantes.

This dress is available for Everyday, Formal, Career, Makeover, and Maternity for Teens (Courante), Young Adults and Adults (Allemande), and Elders (Sarabande).

And then I made a vaguely Rococo dress for the children, because I was sick of putting them in the Tudor dress, and they couldn't all wear Danjaley's dress all the time! The style could fit anywhere from, say, 1680 to 1780, though the polonaise-style ruffles might be more suitable for the 1770s-80s. It's darling, in my opinion.

Option one (not shown) has the original yellow gold rick-rack trim.

Option two has a new bronze rick-rack trim.

Option three has a new silver rick-rack trim.

All of the options have the same channels: bodice and skirt, sleeves, stomacher, and trimming.

This dress is available for Everyday, Formal, Career, and Makeover for Children (Gavotte).

There are some really harsh shoulder seams that I can't smooth out. Additionally, the child dress has a strange gap between the sleeve cap and the sleeve that I can't figure out; I may revise this when I'm more skilled at frankenmeshing.

All photos are unedited; what you see is what you get! You should not need the Store dress or Generations for these dresses to work.

(2) The "engageantes" are the lacy sleeve trim seen here. One day I'll make a set that actually is meshed...

(3) The self-stripe you see on the elder model is a pattern in progress of my own, borrowed from @simbury's silk stripes texture for TS2. I'm a sucker for self-stripes.

Sunset Valley - again

Like many of you, I've been following @greenplumbboblover's Sunset Valley Chronicles - or whatever she's named it. (Old-timers' disease!). Which made me nostalgic for SV - probably my favorite town to play. And while I've been playing, I've been re-doing the lots. Because I can!

I moved the family in that multi-colored, hot mess of a house into this one. This was a remake of theirs that was done a gazillion years ago by @lilymayrose. You can see the original over on her blog - which is still active. Or at least up. (Lily's Sim Antics (lilyssimantics.blogspot.com).

Anyway, I did make changes - mostly to the outdoor landscaping. The original had a swimming pool in the backyard and since I have 3 pools in this frammin town, unless you are super rich like the Landgraabs, Altos, or Goths, I expect my lazy sims to use the public facilities. But back to my changes. I resurfaced the driveway and added that spot where the trashcan and bicycles are. Then I resurfaced the sidewalks, moved flowerbeds, and gave them a hot tub. (I'm not entirely mean!)

I didn't do a whole lot to the inside - because I liked her version. Maybe switched out some rugs and got rid of all the toddler junk - because I aged the rugrat up.

Anyway, here's the family - the Single Moms. Fiona has finally come out-of-the-closet and is currently trying her darndest to convince Molly that they should be exclusive. (Their lifetime relationship is around 41 - even though they are supposedly "girlfriends.") I'm guessing, hating your beloved's cookie-cruncher is not the way to endear yourself to the object of one's affections. River - the teen - just wants the 2 of them to keep it in the bedroom. (Fiona is big on public displays of her amorous desires). While the youngest - I forget her name - is just happy to not be living in a shelter. BTW, in my town, she is the product of a drunken one-night-stand that Molly had with that Alvi sim. (The reason his wife bailed on him). Right now, she doesn't know who her dad is.

Then I hopped next door and did a tiny make-over of Jaime's house. I basically tried to keep it as horrible as EA had designed it. I did get rid of their carport and made a new one - sort of an arbor thingie. Then - because the description says this is an Asian-Tudor mix, I added that new siding on the gables after re-doing the roof a tad. I also got rid of that extra front door and replaced all the windows and doors using B5Studios' Grant Park set.

Inside, I left all the wall finishes the way they were. Except for the bathroom. That one I changed. Anyway, I made the kitchen a bit bigger since that front door was deleted, freeing up space. Then I added those Grant Park screens in the dining area. I basically reused her furniture, although here and there I made a few changes. I did get rid of that spare bedroom, making it into an office, since all the doctors I work with, always take their work home with them. I also put up those posters by @kimmiessimmies, because Jaime has a major crush on the lead singer. And she is absolutely sure that if he ever met her, he'd dump that Sadie sim for her - because she is just that BEAUTIFUL!!!! And don't you forget it! Well, you can't because she reminds everyone she meets that she's beautiful and smart! But apparently not smart enough, because she got demoted at work when she bragged about her latest conquest - Thornton Wolff. (Seems her boss, Geoffrey Landgraab - a good friend of Morgana's - was not pleased.)

And here the little tart is! Basically, all I did was change her skin and hair and toned down her make-up. I did give her some new clothes, but some I kept because I don't like having a whole neighborhood of models walking around. And this outfit wasn't that ghastly.

BTW, she's set her sights on a new gene therapist who was recently added to the hospital staff. His family lives in a new house next door to the Keatons. But since he comes from a traditional Chinese family, his parents are having none of it. Like Yumi Sekemoto, they are looking for a nice Asian girl to marry their son to. So, that lets out Ms. Jaime and her BF Pauline Wan. They're on the fence about Tori whatshername.

Los Santos - Progress Report 2022 - Part 3: 6 more buildings in focus

This Tudor may look old. But truth be told it's actually built in the 21st Century.

Technically this house does not have a pool... Just technically. If the officials ask: THIS HOUSE DOES NOT HAVE A POOL.

264 Portola Drive Private Pool

A newer law made it mandatory for plots of land to be rectangular. While everybody else obeys the law, the filthy rich are at it again. This pool is directly linked to 263 Portola Drive. Making use of a grey area in housing laws.

This is one of those houses that are really hard to show from just one side. It actually consists of two seperate lots because the weird shape of the plot makes it necessary. Don’t know yet what implications this has for gameplay but yeah

Like the entirety of the world, all shown lots are not even remotely done. If you have any suggestions for these let me know! Especially when it comes to interior. I feel like interior is the hardest part since you never really know what they look like on the inside. You can just guess. Anybody here who knows the real life owner of Goth House? What does it look like on the inside?

In the early part of the 17th century holdovers from the Tudor period continued to be in style, but soon enough the iconic ruff would evolve into delicate soft and standing lace collars. By the 1620s women's fashion - and by extension their accessories - became a lot more simple. Hats kept growing in size from the previous century, both in width and height. Pearls were HUGELY popular as they were a way to display wealth. In fact, it's hard to find a woman's portrait from this period that doesn't feature pearl jewellery. 41 BUILD STYLES

Hey simmers, today I share with you my list of build styles I use. So most of these styles I have never built before. I put this list in a wheel spinner, you can copy and paste it in, then let the wheel spin and see what build style it lands on.

I usually search the build style on pinterest and then pick a design from there for my Sims 4 build. You can decide after the wheel has selected a style if it should be removed from the list or remain for a possible second build. Also you can save the wheel spin list in the top right corner of the website there is options then you do not have to keep putting the list in.

Plumbella recently came out with a build challenge that might possibly be one of the hardest challenges to date.

Well, Deligracy completed the challenge and her results were rough to say the least. I decided to try my hand at the random challenge Deli received to see what I could come up with.

The challenge was:

Build a Tudor style home

Home had to have 1 floor and 5 rooms

You were limited to brown as your color palette

Had to fit 3 sims

Limited to 36,299 simoleons exactly

and.... had to feature My First Pet Stuff.... ew.

I’m actually pretty impressed with my build, especially since I am NOT a builder by trade. So I thought I’d post it in the off chance people were interested in downloading it!

2 Bedroom, 1 bath

36,299 simoleons

I own every pack (except most kits) and yes, this does feature MFPS.
