So, I kind of have good and bad news :c

The good news is I updated 'Was Not The Hero' after months of not doing so. Bad news is, it is a short chapter and... the story is either taking a long hiatus, or very short chapters from now on will be published, or possibly - which I hope it doesn't happen - i stop writing more chapters for it :c

I've been going through stuff in real life and my all time fixation for Transformers has been helping me cope with things and because of that I have a hard time putting focus on "Was Not The Hero'.

I love the story I've written, but I don't want to force myself to write if it's going to come out terribly written without emotion : c. I rather just write out details of the events the story was going to have so peeps could idk, at least know what was going to happen so I don't leave you guys with nothing

I do want to thank you all for all the support you all have given me for this story. You peeps have all been great and I love you all. Thank you for the kudos/likes/comments/reviews/fanart/fanvideos. I legit cherish all the kind words you have all given me

Hmm, I do sound like I'm leaving, hahaha, but I will do my best not to. I am just saying things in case I do just stop writing for the fic : c

So I had a friend ( @cobalts-corner ) over at my house and she started sketching poses and made these two people. Originally, they were blank, so she asked me to add some silly details and I chose to make it Philip and Silas. Mind you, it’s completely in her style so full artist credits go to her.

This little doodle motivated her to read Was Not The Hero after wanting to for such a long time (she’s up to chapter four rn, in the middle of it)

I know you get told this a lot, but your "Was Not The Hero" story is REALLY amazing!

• First off, Philip LOVES writing bible fanfics. Doing so always brings him immense joy.

• People can't get enough of his Jesus x reader content.

• His Goliath redemption arc story that's titled "Was Not The Hero" is a HUGE hit. It gets so much love and shares. Philip is so proud of himself for writing it.

• His username would be his full name lol.

• Masha and Father Francis are his biggest supporters. They love that Philip is being so creative and is sharing his stories with the world.

• Silas does too (and is a fan).

• Philip's fans / readers are always leaving him nice comments.

• He hearts all the nice comments and replies to them.

• He'll sometimes post art of some of his favorite stories.

• He ends up making a few online writer friends.

How powerful is the Catholic Church in your story

Answer: They are pretty powerful. I don't want to spoil too much but let's say they have many peeps around the world who can use magic by different means : ). Usually though, they don't use such peeps unless they have to like fighting against other magical beings or magical users who are a threat to the world.

2. How would Philip react to his og death and his dragon form in the original series

Answer: He would be shocked that Luz's friends killed him in such a merciless way and would be shocked at himself that he allowed himself to turn himself into a dragon and probably ashamed too.

3. What are the ages for sister Lilian,Luna, and Father Francis?

Answer: Father Francis is about 40, Lilian is 33, Luna is 56

4. Tim I wish you were born a girl fits Philip and Silas relationship

Answer: hahaha, yah :'c

5. Would the Collector and Philip be buddies later on

Answer: They would yeah. in my version, the collector isn't such an innocent child.

6. is Silas and Elizabeth biologically immortal?

Do you ship Philip x Silas if so have you ever wonder if such a thing can actually happen in the show’s lore? if so what analysis would people make of them plus memes and jokes about them?

I think it’s adorable, though I am currently a member of the “punch Silas in the face” petition. I’ve always loved the idea that Philip was a victim of conformation, such as the evidence suggesting that he was left-handed, the strong implications that he couldn’t ever get along with other kids, being an orphan and generally considered “weird,” and more. It couldn’t have been easy to live with his brains in a time and place where logic was considered blasphemy against faith and religion.

The idea of him trying to move on with something new, only for it to blow up in his face through no fault of his own, is interesting and even more so when it’s considered as one of the driving factors that Philip pursued with his goal to find Caleb. He had tried to be okay, and it didn’t work out. Obviously, Caleb was the only person who could care about him. (In his eyes, anyway.)

I think an emphasis on the way being forced to conform hurt Philip would be a heartbreaking parallel for Luz to realize, especially if she considers that she could have turned out the same. There tends to be more attention to people who try and fail to conform, and I think that people often overlook the trauma of those who do manage to conform.

It would also be interesting to see Philip, a man who’s progressed in so many ways ahead of his time except the one that seems the most basic, appreciate the way the world’s changed without him. I think his feelings would be very bittersweet about that. Maybe thinking, “I’m glad that that’s changed, and people don’t have to go through that as much, but I wish it had come sooner,” sort of thing.

As for memes, I’m not that great with humor, though I do understand memes. I think there would probably be a lot of jokes at the Minister’s expense. And probably a lot on Silas and Philip being emotionally repressed Puritans.
