behold! Here is a year and a half of work for three adult women who clearly have nothing better to do in their lives! 40+ alternate universes based on Philip from the Owl House.

Here we only have 25 illustrated AUs, but we created an article with brief descriptions of all our AUs, with links to posts and albums, with a description of the crossovers of these AUs and alternative timelines. We have described this as fully as possible so that you can fully appreciate the power of our hyperfixation. And so that if any of you have ever had a genuine desire to really understand this whole damn thing, you have this opportunity!

1. At the dawn of the light: after the Day of Unity, Philip spent ten years in prison under a sleeping spell. He has forgotten a lot, he barely remembers himself. But he is still remembered by Luz and Hunter, who need help from the former emperor.

2. Where the war axe is buried: Caleb is alive, he has become the emperor, and Philip is his right hand, the Black Guard. They have a terrible relationship, somewhere between slavery and domestic violence. But Philip has a son, Hunter, and almost adopted daughter – Luz, and they are going to save him.

3. Tandem: The Collector inhabited the body of Philip from Zarya to prevent him from dying. He hopes to bring back the memories and will to live of his tired old friend. It's difficult because Philip only wants to sleep.

4. Laugh seller: non-magical AU, modernity. Philip is a brothel head and drug dealer, he has a bad relationship with his brother, a traumatic past and criminal (anal) showdowns.

5. Anarchists: Philip realized that everything is decided only by Strength, Arrogance and Napalm. This conviction led to his complete loss of humanity and the acquisition of a new friend - Collie. In the present tense, these two are called the King and the Jester, and for four hundred years they have been the number one Calamity of the Boiling Islands!

6. Golden family: all the grimwalkers that Philip has ever created are alive and they and their uncle the emperor are a big friendly family with many children.

7. Favorite toy: The Collector is a child who does not know the word pity and does not feel sympathy for mortals. He has fun playing with Philip because Philip is not so easy to kill, even if the games are very cruel.

8. Bridges: on Unity Day, Philip and Luz left for the human world. Now the former Dark Lord lives in Luz's living room, drinks her coffee and chats nicely with her mother over breakfast. Sometimes he breaks or repairs household appliances. Luz also feels rolling attacks of melancholy and sees strange dreams about events four hundred years ago.

9. The clean page: Caleb from “Hatchet” found Philip from “Dawn,” erased his memory, throwing him back to childhood, and is trying to raise him “the right way.” But in his opinion, Philip needs to be an ideal child and always remain so.

10. Pyrrhic victory: Having killed all the witches, Philip returned to the human world with a small Grimwalker in his arms. He returned to a world that did not expect him, a completely alien world where he no longer belongs. He returned victorious.

11. Blindos: Philip is blind, but still manages to do everything he did as a sighted man, just as well as before.

12. The shadow house: swap au where Philip took the role of Ida. Luz, Kiki and Collie live in the same house with him, they are a cheerful, chaotic family.

13. Whore-Belos: Philip leads a riotous lifestyle. He's attractive and he knows it, and he takes advantage of it shamelessly. Until one day he meets a deity... Quite enslaved and for some reason not influenced by his attractiveness.

14. Plushie: Belos is a plush toy.

15. Hamayun: Philip is a Hamayun bird from slavic mythology living in a medieval fantasy world. Many people try to kill the mythical bird, and one day Luz tries too. The attempt fails, but a friendship between the girl and the fairy-tale creature begins.

16. Prof AU: non-magical AU, modernity. Philip is a university professor with a good relationship with Caleb, a traumatic past, and an abusive boyfriend.

17. The countess and the monk: Archi is the countess, Philip is the monk. They're fucking.

18. Fatum: Philip from the past, grieving after Caleb's death, tags along with Luz into the portal to the present. Facing his own future will not save him from the inevitable.

19. The backstage: All the characters are actors and get along well with each other. They're renting the Owl House.

20. Crowd discontent: Philip killed Evelyn, took his brother home and became a general witch hunter. He is a respected man, he has a wife and status, and he plans to go to war on the Boiling Isles.

21. SCP AU: an employee of the SCP organization drags Philip into the portal, into the world of people. Experiments are carried out on it until Philip offers cooperation to the organization. He is ready to make a portal for SCP to the world of Boiling Islands.

22. The distant relative: before his death, natural, from old age, Caleb managed to set Philip on the right path. In the present time, Philip is a mysterious wandering magician, the strange uncle of the Clathorne family.

23. Little oracle: Hekside's student accidentally summoned the ghost of Philip. He doesn’t look like himself in appearance, but is still full of desire to complete his mission. He is quite accustomed to manipulating a child.

24. Philip-Archivist: Philip is an archivist. For many years he spent time in a mirror prison, in the possession of the witch king. One day, the mirror ends up in the hands of the king’s younger brother, Colley, who decides to release the angry god, exhausted by captivity.

25. Mental hospital: non-magical AU, modernity. Philip lies in a mental hospital (until he escapes from it), and bonds with Hunter and Luz.

We also have AU that were not included in the main list for a number of reasons. For example, the subcategory of crossover AU. Two of them – Tandem and Clean Page – are the first crossover AUs that acquired great individuality, which is why they ended up on the main list. But there are a lot of crossovers that are harder to explain in a nutshell, differentiate between each other and depict in one picture, or center around characters who are not Philip. But they still hold a special place in our hearts. That's why we want to tell you about them too.

1. Inbetween Party Event: this is not an AU itself, it is a justification for AUs! An alternative timeline in which Collie from Tandem decided to organize a gathering of all the alternative Philips that he could find and gather in the Inbetween to amuse his own Philip. For us, this event was an occasion to see how AU Philips would interact with each other in a vacuum. At least that was the original idea. But we went further and decided that at the end of the Inbetween Party, Tandem, sending the Philips home, mixed up several portals, and this entailed the formation of new AUs. For example, several AUs that do not have a name occurred due to Collie’s mistake: the Whore swapped with Shadow, Blindos swapped with Golden, Dawn with SCP, and the Seller with the Professor. And there are stories with a name and a big plot.

2. Castling: at the Inbetween Party, Philip from “The Axe” and Philip from “Pyrrhic Victory” agreed to exchange worlds. One gets the long-awaited freedom, the other gets alive Caleb. Philip from the Axe also takes Hunter with him, who ends up in the world of Pyrrhic Victory in the body of the local Hunter, and they have to share one body for some time.

3. The last straw: crossover of Anarchists and Arnica (original Tandem). Phil died at the hands (teeth) of Collistrophe, like the entire planet. Many years later, Collie, a depressed outcast, finds Arnica – Arthur and Nico – and becomes attached to them. Perhaps Arnica will be the straw that pulls him out, or will finish him off completely.

4. Rope through the stars: the firs points of the plot is like that of Straw, but Collie does not meet Arnica but ends up in a parallel world, with the canon Wittebro. He inhabits the body of a girl hanged on charges of witchcraft, and then comes to the brothers. At first, he is only interested in Philip, who is afraid of him, but over time, he (or rather, now she) warms up to Caleb, who from the very beginning shows obvious interest in her. (yes, it’s just female OC&Wittebro, but in a complicated way)

5. Don't listen to the Bird: Hamayun enters the world of the Axe and arranges magical family therapy for Caleb and Philip.

A separate subcategory for the Anarchy Seller because this AU created it’s own multiverse.

1.Anarchy Seller: after the Inbetween Party, Anarchist Phil finds himself in the body of the Seller. He is forced to interact with Archie (from Laugh Seller), who is completely different from his beloved Archie (from Anarchists), with Caleb, who in this universe really doesn’t like Philip, and with everyone else, constantly listening to the question “what did you drink/smoke/sniff?” After they switch bodies back, Phil again finds himself in the Seller's world, now in his own body. And then he drags the Seller into his world, on the Boiling Islands. In short, fun and chaos. And the bromance of the two Philips. And the toxic yaoi of the archilips, where would we be without it.

2. Paladin: one of the endings of the Anarchy Seller leads to a route where Archie (from Laugh Seller) first becomes a prisoner of Archie (from Anarchists) for a thousand years, and then escapes to a parallel world similar to the canon Owl House and falls in love with the local Belos. (yes, it’s just male OC/Belos, but in a complicated way)

3. Anarchy Seller, bad ending: Philip (from Laugh Seller) seals both Collie and Archi (from Anarchists) in the mirror. Phil, horrified, broken and betrayed, leaves to find a way to free them.

4. Anarchy Seller, neutral ending: in the world of the Anarchists everything goes close to canon, but in his world the Seller uses magic to burn out Archie's (from Laugh seller) brains. Phil is horrified, broken, and looks at the amnesiac Archie with pity.

5. I isekaied into the king of demons and now I’m his craziness: reverse of the Anarchy Seller, where, after committing su*c*de, Philip ends up in Phil’s head.

6. The Seller's Collection: Phil dies when he and the Seller end up on the Boiling Islands. Philip is broken, goes to free Collie, and then together they kill everyone and eat the planet. In the process, the Seller, due to mutual insanity and a surge of energies, grows into the body and soul of Collistrophe. Archie (from Anarchists) helps them separate, but they are still connected as soulmates. They go to the Seller's world together so Phillip can finish things off.

7. Professor AU (yes, here too, because initially these are the consequences of the Anarchy Seller): this is an alternate version of the events of the Anarchy Seller universe, where the Seller died in the finale and Phil went back in time to change the entire universe. He took little Philip to the hospital where Caleb found him, and as a result, Philip grew up in love, care and therapy and did not get involved in crime, but became a physics professor.

8. Rock and roll: the universe of the Laugh seller, but there is Phil, he originally lives here and he is a human and a homeless person and a musician and a scammer. He and Philip meet when Phil tries to pick the lock on one of the pharmacies where Philip's drugs are sold. Then Phil starts working for Philip, and then they start dating.

And the last category of AU, which have not been particularly developed, but as concepts are still interesting.

1. The Last Man: once on the Boiling Islands, Luz encounters only desolation, abandoned houses and cities, the silence of a dead world. There is no one here except irrational beings. And one – the last – person.

2. Adam: Evelyn's son meets a man he looks a lot like. He decides that this is his long-lost father. Philip does not fully understand how to behave with the son of his brother, whom he killed.

3. Samsara: by the will of the Titan, after his death Philip is reborn over and over again on the Boiling Islands. In each new life, karma finds him in the person of the grown-up Luz and Hunter, who kill him again and again.

4. Dreamtail Wittebro: Caleb did not die, but was turned into stone. After four hundred years, the spell breaks and he is faced with a new reality where Philip is a tyrant emperor.

5. Restoration: Philip has a dream where he sees nothing, only feels that huge hands are taking him apart like a doll. (these are the archivist’s greedy hands)

6. Two kings: Philip was killed under torture in the human realm, Caleb fled to the demon realm, became their ruler and fought with human realm. The war was stopped and Caleb was overthrown. He tries for the last time to make a new grimwalker of Philip, and this one turns out different from the others. He recognizes Caleb. And it turns out that this is Philip from the canon, whose consciousness after his death moved to a parallel world.
