I always hear that turning children into vampires is always dangerous because that's how Crazy as time goes by, so we have Claudia interview with the vampire and then I stopped to think would the little boy be too if he had completely transformed?
Kid vampires are always so tragic and I LOVE IT. Well, not that their suffering I just think that it is such a interesting sort of existence. So there is two main types of vampire kids and they go as follows,
Forever a kid WITH the same mindset of a kid.
These are the vampires who are turned at, let’s say 12 and have the mind of a 12 year old/the body forever. So it’s basically a lost boy (Peter Pan sense). While it is less tragic then the second kind it can still lead to a lot of loneliness etc.
Examples- Eli (let the right one in),  Rudolph (the little vampire)
2. Forever a kid but with the mind of a adult.
This is the second and most tragic kind. Someone who is turned at, let’s say 12 again and develops mentally but never physically. You’d be a adult , or way older then a adult, trapped in the body of a child forever. This leads to frustrations as your body won’t develop to meet your wants,  loneliness again because you can’t have a companion i the way others do
Examples - Claudia (interview with a vampire) , Homer (Near dark).
Laddie? Laddie doesn’t fit in either of these category’s. He’s still only half and he’s very much just 11. Maybe older, maybe Half vampire stalls a bit of aging?
I don’t think they would force Laddie to turn, especially since he’s so young. The boys leave star and him behind whenever they go out to feed. They don’t give in that same push and force that they do with Star, then again they aren’t pushing for star that much either (SHES very much the second star/tinkerbell figure of the story, she’s their lure). I think right now they may, if anything try to get him at a age where it’d be better to turn, theyd probably give him little Dixie cups of blood to keep him under control and not flip and feed on someone because he wouldn’t want to be like that forever. I’d say probably at 16? But IF he had turned at 11... I think he may be more of a type one based purely around how the lost boys act. They are canonically just a bit over 100 years old and yet are that wild excited and young type, they act very much like.... well the lost boys. Non stop fun forever that’s it. They’re also very, animal like. So I think laddie would be forever a kid with forever the mentality. He may grow a little smarter as this kid definitely knows what’s going on around him, he’s seen the boys come back with blood on their clothes many times before

An Oddworld Munch’s Oddysee T-shirt with some art I don’t think has been seen before online. I really like the colour scheme and how the characters are composed here. With munch being the only white thing on the shirt apart from the game title and being tiny compared to, not only the blackness of the rest of the shirt, but also the dark silluette of the vykker looming over him, eyes blank yet still filled with malice, illuminated by the blood red graphic in the background and about to use their surgical tools or big sharp claws to inflict a world of pain on tiny, helpless Munch.
The symbolism in the graphics and art here perfectly captures what Munch’s Oddysee is about while also just being a kick ass design for a shirt. An amazing design all-around!

Imagine having an emotional breakdown because you've learned that your several thousand year old sugar daddy has had more than one romantic/sexual relationship in his life. It's insane how insecure and full of inferiority complexes these characters are. Persephone would be so much better off with someone her own age, not that this insecure little girl is mature enough for a relationship no matter who her partner would be. You mentioned that the ship and shuttle are named after goddesses. Can you tell us more?
Adiona and Abeona are actually goddesses from the Roman pantheon!
Adiona is the goddess of "safe returns", she protects travelers and ensure they get home safely. Abeona is the goddess of "outward journeys" and she protects travelers as they depart home to places unknown.
Partially Stars takes place in the very distant future (I'm still working out the exact timelines, but I think around a thousand years, give or take), after humanity has mastered faster-than-light travel and colonized other planetary systems. But even though we've left Earth behind (for the sake of this story, anyway. there's still people living on Earth, but Adiona isn't a sturdy enough ship to fly between systems like that) we still remember our history and where we come from.
So there will be some things that are familiar from Earth, like Adiona and Abeona, like the cultures and accents of the crew, but some things change and evolve with their environment and over time 🥰

#shush raine |random nonsense and rambles|#it was actually really fun#this is the one i play Estelar in my bard who is multiclassed into a paladin#it was me lagan and remmington (barbarian and rogue) and we didnt get downed once and we fucking kicked ASS#two amber golems a deadnob or whatever it was called cause i keep forgetting anything but the dead bit#two flaming skulls two ghosts and another creature that i cant remember but it was the one that spawned the ghosts of the dead priests#NO we did NOT level up BUT i got 2000 gold and a cool one time use spell tattoo#and i used my talesfromthe beyond spirit table bard bullshit all through this session and that was cool cause i kept getting 6 7 and 8#despite me sorta being a dumbass when we entered the temple and not let remmington say his thing i think that session was good#we were at the temple of osibus again cause remmington had business with them and we ended up having to clear out their fucking temple#cause of lore reasons they had shit magically repressed that broke out as we got there#i also used all my spell slots that session which was not fun but also i ran out at the end so nothing too terrible#dnd stuff

hello! new to the whole mcyt thing and didnt really know where else to start...but just wondering how many mcyt/dream team/dream smp fans are out there that aren’t minors (so...18+ or rly 20+) ?

30 days of night - blurb review
Not the lost boys, or even a 80s vampire movie but it’s vampires so I’m holding onto that. This movie really surprised me? As I don’t really hold early 2000s horror in a high regard , but this one was actually pretty good. It had its issues, which are more nitpicks on my part but I’ll get into that in a bit.
Spoilers, duh.
The plot-
So the plot is actually extremely freaking clever, at least I haven’t really seen it before. A remote Alaskan town gets cut off from the world for a whole month and has no sunlight at all? So these vamps naturally are “that’s fantastic? Why has no one came here before what the hell?”. it’s also not really a hack and slash type movie either! We get this - what can only be described as a Feeding Frenzy and then we follow our small group of survivors the rest of the movie. Naturally some get cabin fever after three days and go stupid but that’s expected. Also the police in the town- they really do what they want dont they??
Unrelated but I realized once finishing the movie that our main  character is Ethan chandler! Idk the actors name- didn’t recognize him with the short hair haha
The vampires-
So my criteria to be a good vampire/type of vampire is to be interesting! You don’t have to be sexy or some sort of pretty boy (that is appreciated but not required in my book.) you have to be fun! We have evolved past the need for burnet vampires who are so tragic ™️ and cry all the time , I want some fun baby!
These these guys. I LOVE them so much holy shit.
Animalistic vampires my beloved 💕
I love them because of this, I’ve said it once I’ll say it a million times. Vampires are animals. They aren’t some higher species, they don’t create little governments that they literally escaped from by turning, they don’t want domination. They want to feed. Seriously nothing turns me away from a movie quicker then vampire politics (basically when they act all high and mighty , create a civilization and rules and a class system like wtf?) I like this better. Small nest groups that just- do their own thing and don’t give a shit.
There’s a fine line between making A vampire human like and TO HUMAN and I’ll maintain that. There is a clear separation and it is NOT from thinking their superior. But you can make one to animal at the same time but it’s MUCH more rare.
These guys? Oh boy! So they do something I LOVED in the lost boys- they make animal noises, more specifically bat sounding but they communicate though the screeches, the clicks , the screams and cries and all the other sounds. And it’s AWESOME. I love their claws, however I hate their teeth and their eyes. I think this is where the Tribe got the stupid ass cgi black eyes effect from because good god does it kinda take you out of it. Also their teeth are like supernatural vampires level bad, it looks like they eat small fish not people. However they make up for it by making gash like wounds in the neck like vampire bats? Which I love. 
However..... they have their own  language. WHY!? You already speak though the noises why though some Middle earth sounding ass speech over it? Why ruin it with that? However..it’s only really the leader who seams to speak it? The others laugh and screech etc. It’s only him for his extremely pretentious  villain monologues . I hate him. As they’ve proven they can speak English? And they already use the animal noises. So making up a entire language is really unnecessary in my opinion! Besides that I love these vampires, they’re just- kinda what I like about them. We need more of this then just , buff guy in Louisiana has fangs that click like a cat toy and pecks the size of Texas. That- no.
The movie does great with atmosphere, the music as well is amazing(for the most part) when it comes to brining  tension as well. Again the vampires , they’re smart enough to cut off communication, transportation, power etc AND to use bait and stuff like that. Just , love. At the same time I also love the people, it’s very much a small town, very know everyone, window all of their issues and call really feel the weight in their deaths. However our main romance is pretty forced at the end? Like YES being though a traumatic life or death situation can pull people back toegether but I would have liked a talk or something!
Rip weed grandma you will be remembered 😔 (it’s actually important to the plot and that is fantastic)
