ShiSaku Week: Day 3
Sakura could only sigh as her training with Annabeth was interrupted by one of her siblings. Especially after they told her "favorite patient" was waiting for treatment.
"You'd think being one of the fastest sons of Hermès, he'd be less injured," Annabeth said.
Rubbing her temples, the pink haired girl apologized the daughter of Athena. Of course her sparing partner understood, as this kind of interruption was not uncommon between the two. It's just on of the many flaws of being head if their cabins.
It also doesn't help that Sakura here, has medical abilities that could rival her father's, Asclepius. It made her a very popular request in the infirmary. It was got the point, that she put a ban on her patient load unless it was really serious (i.e. an arrow to the eye).
However, there was only one person who somehow alway managed to get her to heal him. That man, Shisui Uchiha, son of Hermès.
He was one who didn't let any of her cabin members come near him. Especially when it came time for his vaccinations.
At first she thought it was because he had already known her, being that dhe was childhood friends with his cousin, Sasuke. Then he just became problematic for her siblings. All the way from using his winged shoes to pinn himself to roof, or using his enhanced speed to evade them. In other word he was her siblings worse nightmare of a patient, and the newcomers to her cabin were quick to presudade to dump him on her.
Thus there was a rule in in her cabin; no matter what, whenever Shisui Uchiha showed up at the infirmary the youngest would be sent out to get her to rein him in.
"You know Sakura ," her sibling began, as they walked to the infirmary, "if I didn't know any better I'd say he has a thing for you."
She could see the concern on her siblings face at how fast she turned her head to look at them.
Of course Sakura was shocked at her sibling's hypothesis. In her mind, it seemed preposterous that Shisui would have taken a liking to her. In fact, thing far back as to when she'd be over at Sasuke's home to play, he'd alway pull at her pink locks, and say the most observed things to get a reaction out of her. He'd also poke her forehead a lot which he knew she was self conscious about.
" Trust me when I say this, Shisui does not like me. I am just a familiar to him. The reason being that we knew eachother when we younger, and that's it. Nothing more. Nothing less," she made clear.
Her sibling only shrugged and just came to the silent conclusion that Sakura was oblivious.
By now, every camper knew of Shisui's infatuation with Sakura. That is, every camper besides the woman of his affections.
They'd all seen the way he watches her at she trains with the daughters of Athena. They way he always made room next to him during celebrations.
Even during their interaction with each term, he'd be dropping hint, obvious ones and they'd just go over her head. It was painful to watch for all campers.
Percy remembers when Shisui used a funny pickup line on Sakura, and well, it got her to laugh. That was about it.
Later on he'd find out from Annabeth, that her half sister, Ino, repeated said pickup line that Sakura told her. Though, Ino made it clear that Sakura one hundred percent thought it was a joke.
After telling Annabeth who Sakura heard the pickup like from, let's just say she was pretty annoyed.
Pretty much every camper wants them to just kiss and end their missery...
Walking into the infirmary room that contained the Uchiha, Sakura crossed her arms. There he was, laying down all comfortable in the bed, with messy bandages wrapped around his head.
" So Shisui, what bring you intoday," she asked, as Shisui sat up from the bed.
Now despite, everything Sakura is very fond of the Uchiha. Don't get her wrong, he can be annoying, but he always made her smile in the end.
"Well Doc, you see I was helping the children of Demeter harvest their apples."
Oh no. This us going exactly where she thinks this is going.
Sakura could not help the smile that grace her lips.
"Well, one of them dropped their basket full of apples. The apples where going to hit their sibling holding the ladder steady, and I just couldn't let them. "
"So your in here cause you got clobbered by apples," she said, with amusement.
"What can I say, Doc? I'm proof that an apple doesn't  slways keep the doctor away,' isn't true."
With a chuckle, she walked over to his bed. Allowing her plans to glow green, she placed them on the side of his head. Her eyes closed, as she concentrated; scanning for any for and signs of head injury.
Shisui couldn't help but to relax in her touch. He even brought a hand up to clasp one her own.
It startled her to open her eyes, and for once it felt like they where really seeing eachother.
Time stopped.
Emerald eyes locking with onyx. Their heart beats somehow becoming in sync. Then suddenly they where leaning in, lip centimeters apart when-
"Sakura! We got a code 33," one of her siblings informed her, bargaining into the room.
Sakura had quickly pulled away from from Shisui, and a silence had settled into the room.
"A-am I interrupting something," they asked, looking between the blushing duo.
"No. Anyways, lead the way, and Shisui, you're good to go. I'll see you later at dinner," she said, rushing away to her next patient.
Meanwhile, Shisui was grinning like a fool.
By the end of the day, everyone knew what transpired between the two. So when dinner finally rolled around, and the two were holding hands; the whole camp lost it. Ino even fell to her knees as the rest of the camp cheered.
It was about damn time in everyones opinion.
I want to thank @athelise for their imput on who Shisui's godly parent should be. It really helped a lot.

Happy ShiSaku Week!
Day 3 @shisakuweek
Prompt: Apple a day
Warnings: filthy fluff
Words: 2464
Read on AO3
Sakura sets her bags on the counter and starts unpacking them, putting away the groceries as she settles back into her apartment. Her stress from working a double shift and overnight at the hospital is melting off her shoulders as the comforting smell of home surrounds her. She's not there for long when Shisui rounds the corner from the hall to meet her in the kitchen.
"Hey babe!" He smiles, coming to greet her with a quick peck to her temple. "Welcome home."
"Hey there yourself," she chuckles warmly and leans into his touch. She's surprised to see him here at this hour. It's so early in the day the moon is still out, the sun has barely joined them on the horizon. She's surprised to see him at all, really. Wasn't he away on a mission?
"When did you get back?"
"Just a few hours ago, but you were at the hospital so I thought I'd just wait here for you." He pauses, "I, uh, hope that's okay."
This is relatively new to them. It's only been a few months since they started seeing each other, and dropping in unexpected on each other is an even newer habit they've formed.
"Of course, Shisui. I'm always happy to see you," she reassures. She sets a new package of tea into the cupboard where it belongs while Shisui begins attempting to help her put the groceries away. "Oh, leave it. I'm starving. I've got to cook something before I can sleep."
He takes a seat across the island counter from her instead and watches her as she gets to work. Never one to sit in silence, he tries to fill the space with small talk.
"How was work?" He asks as he starts to fidget with the empty fruit bowl sitting in from of him. Oh, maybe he'd eaten the three apples that were there when he got back. Kind of an odd snack, but whatever. She'd have to remember to get some more if he liked them that much.
"Hectic, as always. I had to do emergency surgery right as I was getting ready to leave last night. I ended up having to stay overnight to keep the patient stable." She keeps flitting around the kitchen as she prepares a quick meal for them both, rightfully assuming he'd join her since he's never turned down a meal before.
He's learned not to offer her help with the cooking anymore. Not since the last disastrous attempt that ended with him needing six stitches on his left hand. So instead he sits happily and watches her, with that same dreamy faraway look in his eyes that Sakura has learned is admiration.
"Dang, that sounds crazy," he mutters, leaning his chin onto his hand, elbow resting on the counter. She smirks at him, he didn't hear a thing she said. He's too busy looking at her and zoning out.
"It was," she chuckles and sets both finished bowls on the counter, sliding one over to him then going to fish out two sets of chopsticks from the drawer. He offers his thanks as she hands him a pair and they immediately dig in.
"Did you eat all my apples?" She asks, halfway through her early morning dinner.
"What? No- I- I don't even like apples," he stutters. He's pointedly looking down at his food like he has something to hide, and she catches onto the odd behavior immediately.
"Then where did they go? Hm?" Sakura focuses on him entirely, moving her bowl aside and leaning towards him across the counter. She notices the top of his ears turning pink as she enters his personal space. She lets a mischievous smile grace her lips and tilts her chin up, staring down her nose at him. He's actually blushing now, but he breaks away from the eye contact to try and escape. Suddenly his food is very interesting.
"Shisui," she warns, "I'm not going to be upset about you coming home from a mission and gorging yourself on apples at 3 in the morning." She giggles at the mental image of him ravenously eating fruit in her dark apartment.
He huffs and looks up and away from her, "I didn't eat any apples."
"Alright, alright. Finish your food, then we can get some sleep."
And that's that. She'll leave the matter alone for now.
///
Sakura spots Shisui a couple produce stalls down from where she's currently perusing an impressive display of various vegetables. He's speaking to the stall owner there in a hushed tone, with a small sense of urgency. She sees him give the man some ryo in exchange for seemingly nothing. Wonder what that's about, she thinks. As if he senses her proximity, he instantly locks eyes with her and smiles. Then, drawn to her like a magnet, he soon joins her in her chore and buzzes around the market with her. He laughs and picks various things out for himself and her, telling jokes and gently teasing Sakura as they go. Sakura loves to be with him in moments like these. Loves watching him interact with all the merchants that treat her like family. The shopkeepers that helped keep an eye on her when she was a little girl, dashing around on market days trying to be anywhere but at her parents' own stall. She blushes at all their knowing looks when they catch her smiling and staring at him just existing. He pays for a pear as he takes a large bite of it. She's mesmerized as she watches the juice slip down his chin. Stares longingly as his tongue flicks out to catch it. She shakes her thoughts away quickly as he approaches her to offer her a bite of it as well. She doesn't think he meant to tease her with his bite, but she's going to try her best to tease him back anyway. She grabs hold of his wrist to steady his movement, instead of taking the pear from him. She looks up at him through her lashes and watches the blush creep across his cheeks as she wraps her lips around the pear. She quickly flicks her tongue across the tip of one of his fingers before she sinks her teeth into the pear's ripe flesh. She knows she's won when she pulls away and spots him staring at her with his mouth open.
One of the ladies behind the nearest stall giggles and breaks him from his stupor. Sakura smiles sweetly at him, feigning innocence as she turns to move on from their little display.
She's almost collected everything she needs when she remembers to restock on the apples that mysteriously vanished and definitely weren't eaten by Shisui. She makes her last stop to the vendor she usually buys them from, the very same man she spotted Shisui speaking to earlier.
She's looking at the fruit he has on display when Shisui rejoins her.
"No apples today, Keisuke-san?" she asks, not noticing the pointed look going from Shisui to the vendor.
"Not today, Sakura-chan, my apologies." She smiles at the cutesy way he's said her name since she was a kid. She starts to say something more but he's looking at Shisui when he speaks and Sakura spots a bead of sweat dripping down the side of his face. Sakura looks to Shisui who tries to stop glaring at the man in front of them quickly enough not to be caught doing it. That's…odd. She vows to herself to interrogate Shisui later and turns back to Keisuke the fruit vendor. She said something about how that's too bad or maybe next time, she can't really remember because she was too busy trying to suss out Shisui. Instead she buys some oranges from Keisuke and adds them to her bags, ready to head home with her grocery haul.
///
Sakura is casually throwing kunai at various targets with Itachi in semi-comfortable silence when Shisui finally appears as if from no where to join them. He was supposed to be here twenty minutes ago.
"Hey guys, sorry I'm late!" Shisui continues to rattle off excuses to Itachi who, at least to Sakura, is very clearly not listening.
They're all here as part of Shisui's grand idea for them all to be the best of friends. Sakura initially rolled her eyes and tried to fight him at his offer to get Itachi to help with her genjutsu training. But when pouted at her with his deep, dark eyes through long, dark eyelashes and muttered, 'I just want my two favorite people to like each other,' she couldn't exactly say no.
So here they are.
Itachi and Sakura were too unfamiliar with each other to initiate training without Shisui present, so they've been spending the time doing a whole lot of nothing. He'd been casually stretching for a while then joined her in target practice. Now that Shisui was there they could get started.
They'd spent around an hour throwing various genjutsu of varying levels at her until they reached a level she could no longer detect. Then they'd spent another two hours aiming higher and teaching her to break through. After a particularly grueling and cruel genjutsu of Itachi's, it was finally time to stop for lunch.
Itachi steps off to the side of the training grounds to retrieve the three bentos he'd prepared and arrived with while Sakura catches her breath. She's kneeling in the dirt and breathing hard when Shisui appears in front of her, a steady hand on her shoulder helping to ground her back in reality.
"I'm okay. I'm okay," she repeats as she shakes her entire head as if the violent movement would scare away any lingering maleffects. Itachi returns with her water bottle and offers it to her. She takes it and drinks deeply, simultaneously bringing two fingers to her temple to redistribute the chakra and soothe her headache.
"Wish I could do that," Shisui chuckles, observing her instant headache relief happen in real time. She's able to smile again now that the pain is receding, so she does. At both of them.
"I could try to teach you, but I've been told I'm not a very patient teacher…" Shisui laughs at that and takes the food offered by Itachi as they all settle in a loose circle.
"I'd say you have plenty of patience, Sakura-san," Itachi offers, "based on who you're dating."
Shisui gasps at the affront and reacts as if Itachi's just stabbed him in the gut. Doubling over in pain as Sakura laughs at the absurdity of the exchange. She quickly gathers the food from Itachi while Shisui is literally rolling in his own dramatics. Itachi's smile is barely there but it's still more than she's ever seen him smile before.
"Itachi, I will never forget this betrayal." Shisui groans as he claws his way back to a sitting position. Sakura giggles at his antics some more as Itachi sets down the rest of the food within reaching distance of them all.
"Thank you for the food, Itachi-san," Sakura manages to say in between giggles, right before she digs in to her meal. He simply hums in response.
She's looking down at her bento when a blur of movement catches her eye and she looks up quickly to see Shisui attempting to hide something behind his back. Itachi didn't fail to notice either.
"Put that back, Shisui. What are you doing?”
"What? I'm not doing anything!" Shisui turns his shoulders to face Itachi in an attempt to better hide what's behind his back from him.
"Shisui, we both saw you."
"You didn't see anything," Shisui tries, narrowing his eyes at Itachi with conviction. He's not convincing at all considering he's still got both hands behind his back, holding onto whatever he's taken. Sakura's curious now so she leans over to try and see if she can see what he's hiding. He's facing one way so she leans the other and she can just see something red in his hand before he turns to block her instead.
"Whatcha got there, Shisui?" She asks, playfully. She's already set aside her bento in favor of whatever Shisui's up to and is now crawling towards him. He squares up his shoulders like that will stop her advance, adamantly keeping his hands behind his back and tightly gripping his prize. She's almost crawled into his lap when Itachi reaches behind Shisui and grabs the apple from him.
"Hey-" he's scrambling after Itachi and manages to snag the apple back quickly, using Itachi's confusion to his advantage. Shisui curses and mutters lowly, "Get that out of here-" then he finishes his point by throwing the apple far across the field they were sitting in.
"What."
Sakura is so confused. Why did Shisui just throw that poor apple as far as he could and what did it ever do to him. In fact what is his deal with apples? This is far from the first time he's been weird about them-
"Are you seriously still on this." Itachi says. It should be a question, but there's no inflection in his voice. He knows Shisui better. It's not a question.
"Uhh-"
"On what, exactly?" Sakura questions, arching an eyebrow at Shisui. "Why did you throw that apple?"
"I, uh, told you before," Shisui raises his hand to scratch the back of his head and ruffle his curls, "I don't like apples."
Itachi is blatantly glaring at Shisui in disbelief. Sakura looks between the two of them waiting for an explanation. It had better be a good one.
"So…" Shisui begins, looking sheepishly at Sakura with his hands in his lap, "You know how they say, 'an apple a day keeps the doctor away'? Well, uhh- I thought-"
"Because you're a doctor," Itachi finishes.
Itachi looks at Sakura with a facial expression that reads as 'can you believe this doofus' and she finds that yes, yes she can. She cracks up and starts laughing, small at first but quickly escalating to a full belly laugh. Shisui's smiling at her mirth, happy and proud to have made her day a little brighter no matter the cause. Itachi just shakes his head with a scoff and goes back to eating his lunch. Sakura finishes crawling towards Shisui and places her hands on his thighs, leaning in for a quick kiss between her giggles.
"You're such a dork." She giggles softer now, and kisses him again. "I'm not going anywhere, no matter how many apples you eat."
Shisui places both hands on Sakura's cheeks and kisses her firmly before pulling her away from him.
"You think I'm charming."
She snorts and pulls herself away from his lap, intent on returning to her lunch.
She does.

hello may i please have a shisui take because im struggling to write him and you're the authority 🥺🥺
nrjendfjdf 🥺 omg little ol me... THIS IS KIND OF A BROAD QUESTION AND I'M SOMEWHAT PEA BRAINED but I shall try to deliver. forgive me for my disorganized rambling I am extremely unmedicated.
under a read more because this got embarrassingly long
oh boy. shisui. where to start with this guy. listen I know he was on screen for all of 5 minutes but he contains multitudes inside my head and heart ok.
i'll start by listing off what we Do know about shisui!
in the databook he is described as honest and warmhearted (;-;) and I feel like that's a basic but pretty good assessment yeah. itachi himself told naruto that he felt shisui was a lot like him (you have shisui's soul) (lots to unpack there) HIS AGE IS UNCONFIRMED EVERYWHERE so we're only going off theories but I think its generally accepted that he's 3yrs older than itachi so! he graduated the academy at age 7, top of his class, and in that same year he uh. kinda sorta. let envy get the best of him and let his teammate die an avoidable death, unlocking his mangekyo. and he only revealed this to itachi when he was about to die lmao. he became a jonin at 11 and danzo ended his shit at around 16? the rest is fuzzy because kishi only created him cuz he realized he needed a way for itachi to unlock his own mangekyo sooo. that's where fanon jumps in
i think most of the fandom characterizes him as Itachi's silly little friend that follows him around and cracks jokes and that's fine and everything but! i do wanna point out that the only time we see him act in such a way is when he's around itachi and sasuke, two people he's very close with, and without any info on his mother and knowing that shisui's father was in poor health and likely passed while shisui was still pretty young, we could assume itachi and sasuke are the people he is closest to, period. so it's only natural that he would be comfortable enough to let his guard down around them like that, but the same cannot be said for random villagers or his fellow jonin etc. don't me wrong i think generally he's seen as a very kind and dependable shinobi, very loyal and always willing to lend a hand to those in need, but still yknow is competent and professional and Lethal. i mean. the guy had a flee on sight order in every enemy nation and earned a big name for himself while other kids his age were eating playdoh or making paper airplanes in class. he was a big deal, danzo himself refered to shisui as the strongest uchiha of his time (which i think is very fucking funny btw like fuck fugaku i guess jNFDJF) i am Getting Off Track my bad
ITS HARD TO PIN HIM DOWN TBH especially depending on what you consider canon or not. in the show he's fairly serious, in the ova he is a teddy bear, in the novel he's very Big Bro-like. in the novel anime fillers he is. my sweet baby angel he's very focused on mentoring itachi and its clear that shisui is very good at reading itachi from the start. across the board i wanna say he can feel the stress and stiffness radiating off itachi in waves and he just. wants to help. he knows exactly what buttons to push and how to rustle his feathers and how to set him at ease as well. oh no rox we're getting off track again fuck ITS HARD TO TALK ABT SHISUI AND NOT BRING UP ITACHI they were lichrally besties. okok.
i think the lighthearted cheeky interpretation of him is fine, I do think he's the type to make bad jokes in uncomfortable situations in an attempt to lighten the mood, but, yknow he tries to be sensitive about things either way. we're shown he's analytical and smart and fairly cautious. and he's uchiha, so he's got big big feelings tucked inside his little body. i imagine he carries a lot of grief inside that he doesn't let people see, his priority is helping others and he doesn't want anyone to fuss over him. Silly Characters That Are Profoundly Sad flavored apple juice. his teammate died because of his jealousy and his father fell ill after the war and shisui took on the responsibility of being the breadwinner of the family, which is A Lot for a young kid? in the novel he mentions that his father doesn't recognize him anymore, sounding like he's trying to fight off the sadness he feels and quickly changes the subject because he doesn't want to worry itachi. shisui takes on a lot of burdens and he would've kept taking on even more had danzo not stopped his plan to use kotoamatsukami on the clan and. brainwash them. (imagine walking around the uchiha compound knowing your clan is under an unbreakable genjutsu /you/ put them under) which is terribly fucked up but i think it shows what happens when kids are given these godlike powers? itachi and shisui were running out of time. they knew they needed to find a solution /fast/ to avoid civil war. we saw what happened with itachi and how far he went lol but shisui wasn't far behind him? it's hard to say if he would've gone along with the whole. slaughtering the clan thing. part of me wants to say he would've been naive enough to go along with it like itachi did. shisui himself said he was willing to do whatever it took to keep itachi and sasuke together as a family. maybe his idea of love was just as fucked up as itachi's? if things had turned out differently, would he have turned his sword against the clan himself? alleviating itachi of that burden, getting his hands dirty if it meant his two most important people were kept safe? he's shouldered guilt and grief before and survived, partly because he had itachi in his life, "spending time with you helped me pick myself up again, bit by bit. I'm really grateful to you,"
i don;t know if i see him being close to many people really? i think he almost doesn't trust himself enough for that.
imo he is an opportunist. he knows ppl perceive him as charming and trustworthy and he will use that to his advantage! not above flirting with people to try and get information out of them if the situation calls for it
overall i think shisui's someone that's capable of carrying a lot of darkness and keeping it hidden behind a smile. he's an uchiha, morals often go out the window when Love is involved. I JUST THINK EXPLORING A DARKER SIDE OF HIM WOULD B FUN
good god i talk so mcuh my bad DO I GET INTO THE CRACK HCS NOW? he is a MESS in the kitchen. worse than itachi, nearly sets the place on fire each and every time but somehow? the food always comes out great?? 0/10 process 10/10 result. (7/10 if u ask itachi but that's only bc he's salty about his own cooking skills)
he was always super physically affectionate w itachi and I feel like. he might've grown up touch starved himself? constantly training and taking on missions, his father was unavailable and. in my head I imagine his mother dipped soon after his death so shisui was just. abandoned. deeply lonely but tried to not make it obvious. eventually itachi takes notice of this and starts inviting him over for dinner a lot. insists shisui spends the holidays at his house so he won't have to celebrate alone. oh that's not crack that's just sad huh
is it fucked up that in a modern high school au i always imagine him being the captain of the swim team LMAO. cracking open a sugar free redbull at 6:30am. stayed up til 2am playing cod the night before. no wait he wouldn't play cod unless he's playing against obito, PERSONALLY I think he'd be into the uncharted game series or assassins creed or hades
he orders the most annoying elaborate starbucks secret menu drinks and itachi is EMBARRASSED to be seen with him in public. he's gonna ask for 15 pumps of this and 20 shakes of that but at least he leaves a good tip.
i think a lot about him and obito being good friends in an au where yknow Everyone lives and nothing bad happens. "race u to the hokages office" "who can make itachi laugh first" "bet I can drink more sake than u can" etc generally just giving itachi a massive headache
he's extremely observant and quick to pick up on any little changes or mood shifts. he respects his elders but Does like to push his luck sometimes, only because he knows he can get away with it.
he'd indulge itachi's sweet tooth a lot, take him out for dango or ice cream when he can tell itachi's just brooding at home or has been nonstop training for hours. he also strikes me as a big gift giver? he's not one to really overthink it, if he sees smth he thinks someone might like or need he'll pick it up for them. i like hcing that itachi's necklace was a gift from shisui aha </3 gifts could be anything from jewelry to a new set of shuriken to an Air Fryer or a funny-looking stuffed frog plushie.
i think my brains shutting down i've been rambling for 3hrs and I feel like I said a whole lotta nothing kJNDFDKJFN I'm sorry this is so long but this is what happens when u ask an adhd riddled gemini abt their fav boy

I hope you enjoy my Incubus AU. Part 1 can be read as is with no continuation if you like...but there are more parts of it if you want to follow Sakura and Incubus!Sasuke’s journey.
Part One
It was happening again.
Lately, in his afternoon lecture class, he was getting a painful empty feeling in his lower stomach. He wasn’t eating as much as he used to during his lunch break so that could have explained the empty feeling.
But the throbbing between his legs was making Sasuke consider that perhaps, something else was going on.
The lecture would barely be halfway through the hour and Sasuke was finding himself adjusting himself in his seat to discreetly hide the rising tent in his pants.
Luckily he sat in the back row, but it was getting ridiculous how often it was happening.
Nearing twenty and in the beginning stages of adulthood, Sasuke realized—a little later than he should have considering how obvious it was—what exactly was to blame for his predicament.
Or more specifically, who.
Turning in his seat, Sasuke created more space between himself and the girl sitting just a single space down the row from him.
Sasuke had been affectionately labeled a late bloomer by his mother when his father had expressed concern in his disinterest in humans of either gender.
“He’s going to have to feed eventually,” his father had grunted, not at all pleased when his mother pointed out the decrease in his consumption of human food she regularly made to feed him and herself.
“Meal times will be lonely once I’m the only one that needs to eat,” she had grumbled, taking his half eaten dishes away.
Sasuke wished he took after his human lineage instead. It would have been so much easier if he didn’t have to worry about how he was going to be getting his meals for the rest of his life on top of all of his course work.
Sighing to himself, he turned a page in his notebook and continued taking notes. He would just have to suffer through the ache.
.
.
Bending over slightly, Sasuke picked up his sports drink from the bottom of the vending machine. He could do without the sweetness of it but he desperately needed to replenish his electrolytes.
As soon as his class had ended he fled the lecture hall and put as much distance as possible between him and the source of his problems. He knew he would start to hunger for a different energy source but it made it all the worse that temptation sat with only a space between them.
When the new semester had started, Sasuke did what he always did: he found the seat farthest away from other students. It wasn’t that he disliked other people. He just didn’t want any distractions.
Sasuke had always been like that, studious to a fault. At first it was to impress his father, but he learned later on that he quite enjoyed having his name at the top of the board with all of the exam scores. He moved away from trying to make his father pay more attention to him and worked to make himself happy.
And his road to happiness required a degree in engineering.
He knew he could have picked another school, one that catered more to those of his kind, but he didn’t want to go to just any school he wanted to go to the school. Even if that meant attending a school with a high human population.
I have so many regrets now, he thought as he took a big swig of his sports drink.
Sasuke wiped his mouth with the back of his hand and sighed. He was going to have to stop by a canteen for snacks if he was going to survive the rest of his day.
Eating usually sustained him for a few hours. It did nothing to fill the empty feeling in stomach but it allowed him to focus more on his lectures and labs until he could get home and try to sleep away the ache.
At least that’s what he hoped would happen. It was getting harder and harder to quell the hunger.
.
.
Sakura buried her nose into her textbook, pretending to be deep into her reading. Peering over the top she caught hold of heated dark brown eyes and quickly averted her gaze back to her textbook.
What did I do? She wailed inwardly and mentally flipped through the past few days searching for the offensive thing she may have done.
She couldn’t recall a single moment that she had even spoken to her classmate. Why was he so angry with her?
He probably figured me out…
Although she had never spoken to him, Sakura couldn’t help how smitten she had become over her classmate.
Uchiha Sasuke was a quiet boy. He didn’t seem to be a part of any of the circles and mostly kept to himself and his studies. If she didn’t see him in class, she would usually find him in the library or in the computer labs.
Sakura mostly made her own lunches and snuck them into her bag when she went to the library but when she visited the cafeteria she would find him grabbing some onigiri to go. She wondered how he kept going with their long days if he only ate rice and snacks. Humans couldn’t live off of sports drinks.
Sakura had been considering joining a study group but had been procrastinating. She had started to drift from a circle she had joined in a previous semester because of an extremely flirtatious upperclassman.
He was too touchy for her comfort but it was mostly the fact that he took any opportunity he could to complain about Uchiha Sasuke.
I guess an incubus wouldn’t like to share the attention.
Sakura shrugged off his comments and made sure there were at least two of her human upperclassmen in the same room. They were already used to the circle hopping incubi and succubi that used the campus as their hunting grounds and usually helped the underclassmen steer clear of them when they weren’t interested.
She guessed, in a way,  it made sense why the incubus upperclassman felt threatened.
Uchiha Sasuke was quiet and polite but mostly he was really attractive. And it helped that he didn’t flirt with anything that moved.
An herbivore maybe? Sakura had joked to herself once.
Well now her quiet classmate was glaring daggers at her and she had no idea why.
And yet he is still beautiful while angry. The gods are so unfair.
Sakura kept her head down and she waited for the professor to arrive. She hoped he got there soon.
.
.
It was irritating how dangerous a blush could be.
Haruno Sakura was fair in coloring with pale skin that colored easily.
Sasuke had wondered if she was a regional dryad when he first saw her hair and eye color. Humans had a tendency to dye their hair but her eyebrows and pale, untouched lashes proved her to be a natural rose gold haired person. There was a chance of her being descended from a cherry blossom tree nymph.
But she was obviously human—or at least too far down the family tree from any possible nymph—without him having to ask.
“Is this computer taken?” Sakura asked, pink dusting the apples of her cheeks.
Glittering sea foam green eyes cast to the side shyly and the biting of a plump lower lip was just a reminder that Haruno Sakura was an above average beauty, even when compared to incubus standards.
It would be difficult to find a tastier looking meal.
What the fuck?
Disregarding that passing thought, Sasuke looked around the room for an available computer station. Even if there wasn’t one she could still switch computers with someone that wasn’t working yet.
“You should find a different computer,” he snapped when she reached for the chair. He gripped the top of the seat’s back and attempted to stare her down.
Pale green eyes went wide and the trembling of her lower lip made Sasuke’s stomach drop. He instantly regretted his behavior despite the fact that he needed her as far away from him as possible. Sasuke opened his mouth to ease the situation when, with more strength than he had expected, Sakura yanked the chair out from under his hand.
“Unfortunately for the both of us, this is the only available computer station,” she said hotly, face flushing red. She sat down and propped her textbook up so that she could reference it for notes.
A side effect of his awakening incubus nature was a heightened awareness of the emotions of different creatures. Sasuke could feel her irritation and her anger rolling off of her in hot waves. Her anger did nothing to quell the ache in his lower abdomen. Instead, heat pooled lower and a familiar twitching had him exhaling deeply through his nose.
“Shisui likes to get Izumi angry on purpose,” Itachi━who had lucked out and had taken after their human mother━━had explained once when he and his spouses were visiting. “Something about more flavoring.  He never gets me angry like that but then again, I’m more likely to withhold if angered. It affects him more.”
It was something that he had absolutely no interest in knowing about his older brother and his in-laws but it had explained a lot about Shisui’s behavior on certain days. Shisui was like his father, faithful. It was a strange trait for an incubus but it was one that ran in the Uchiha family. They married their partner━or partners like in Shisui’s case━and fed from them exclusively. It was interesting to watch how Shisui and his spouses functioned in comparison to his more traditional father.
But at the moment he was just irritated to know he shared a similarity with Shisui of all people.
The sound of fingers pounding down on the keyboard next to him lightened to a steady stream of light tapping. Sasuke chanced a glance from his peripheral vision at his neighbor.
Something glittery caught his eye when Sakura tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. The shorter strand curled around her ear and revealed a trio of silver studs along her lobe. His eyes trailed from her ears to her cheeks, the color had faded out as her temper cooled.
Her eyes squinted, a crease forming between pale brows as she contemplated her next keyboard strokes. Eyes drifting from the wrinkle between her eyebrows, Sasuke eyed the way she bit her lower lip at the right corner.
As she worked the scent of desire had diminished from her direction. Her anger hadn’t quelled it but her focus on her assignment had overcome the secondary feeling. It drifted to a quiet buzz, the way a few humans got when they were near someone they were innocently attracted to.
Sakura continued to work, not bothering to try and chat with him, like she always did in their shared lectures. That was the part Sasuke never understood. She never bothered him outside of handing him the exit slip for their lectures or to get around his seat.
And yet her existence was hard to ignore.
She wasn’t the only human at their university that was attracted to him. He wasn’t oblivious to the stares and to what people assumed was subtle brushing against his body.
So why exactly was she such a problem?
Sakura sighed and pushed her keyboard away from her. The action caused her propped textbook to slide upwards  against the monitor and system unit and fold in on itself.
“Oh, shoot!” Sakura hissed under her breath as the book began to fall. She fumbled with it as it slipped off of the desk.
He hadn’t intended to reach for the textbook. It was mostly reflex that had him making a grab for it. It hadn’t even occurred to him until after it was safely in his hands that catching the book would give away the fact that he had been paying far more attention than he should have been. He shouldn’t have been paying any attention at all.
“Thank you,” Sakura murmured as he handed back the book. Her face did the thing again where it colored easily, pink spreading across her cheeks and the bridge of her nose.
Great.
Sasuke sucked in some air to try and distract himself from the heat pooling in his groin. It wouldn’t do for his hunger to manifest itself as a lump in his jeans.
Quickly logging out, Sasuke grabbed his belongings and made a swift exit.
He needed to get as far away from her and her dangerous blushes as possible.
.
.
It was odd. He could still taste the slices of tomatoes his mother had chopped up. They slid across his tongue, still tangy and cool from having just been taken out from the refrigerator, every bit as tasty as it always was but it didn’t hit his stomach the same way.
“Is everything alright?” Mikoto stopped in her stirring as she eyed the way Sasuke’s mouth twisted and he pushed away the plate of his favorite fruit.
“I ate like three tomatoes worth of slices and I’m still hungry.”
“Oh.” Mikoto looked down at the pot on the stove and frowned. “Should I make more or…?”
“I don’t think it would matter if I ate more or not at this point.”
Sasuke’s jaw clenched as the ache in his stomach stung sharply. He was running out of time.
He had hoped he would never have to deal with this problem. His older brother Itachi never did—he turned out to be human, no matter the fact that he was almost perfect in everything he did, he was human through and through.
Sasuke had figured if his brother ended up being human then he would get passed over as well. Unfortunately, genetics weren’t on his side on this one.
Clearing his bowl and wiping down his spot at the kitchen table Sasuke bid his mother goodnight, calling it in for the night.
Without bothering to turn on the lights for his bedroom he peeled off his shirt and kicked off his house slippers before collapsing onto his bed. He yanked his duvet out from under him and pulled it over his head.
“I don’t even want to touch anyone like that,” he sighed.
As soon as he had the thought, his mind flashed him an image of pink hair and red blushes clashing with jade colored eyes.
I’m not entertaining that.
Sasuke curled into a ball and clutched a pillow to his chest. Maybe tomorrow he would be less hungry.
.
.
It was like he hadn’t eaten in days.
There was nothing that could have distracted him from the pain in his lower stomach. It was pride that had him struggling to get to class. That and an exam later on in the day that he couldn’t afford to miss.
Traveling by train was a hassle due to the amount of attention he was attracting.
“Never let yourself starve,” Shisui had warned him weeks ago when the signs of transition were revealing themselves. “Your body will go into starvation mode and release pheromones that attract nearby humans that you can feed on. That may sound helpful, but it gets chaotic in public spaces.”
Sasuke was forced to exit the train five stations away from the university station and call a taxi company that specialized in otherworldly patrons. A pair of high school girls were inching closer and one middle aged man had already brushed his back against Sasuke’s chest much too often to be blamed on the rocking of the train car.
He wouldn’t survive the rush of travelers that would hop on the train at the central station.
“You don’t look good, kid.” A single horned demon cab driver turned in his seat to look back at him. “I could drop you off somewhere you can get easy prey.”
What, did he have a sign on his forehead that read “Starving Incubus?”
“Take me to K Uni,” Sasuke growled out more forcefully.
Incubus physiological issues weren’t going to get in his way of passing the semester with top marks.
The demon gave him a disapproving look before pulling away from the curb. He muttered something derogatory that Sasuke chose to ignore.
Sasuke was dropped off as close as possible to the building he needed to get to but it still wasn’t enough. He weaved through campus, taking the least crowded hallways to get to his destination.
“Fuck.”
Sasuke ducked under a stairwell and slid down against the wall to the floor. The hunger pains were getting worse.
Exhaling deeply through his nose, Sasuke resigned himself to missing his two lectures for the day and then braving his way to his exam. He would just have to hide out. Luckily he was in a part of the building no one used, choosing instead to use the staircase and elevators on the opposite side of the building than the ones that faced the cafeteria.
Unzipping his jeans to make more room for himself without actually whipping his penis out Sasuke sighed out, grateful for the few centimeters of relief.
Sasuke rubbed his forehead with the heel of his palm. Unlike erections from his youth, he was having difficulty willing his current predicament away with meditation. It wasn’t arousal, it was hunger. And it wasn’t going to be going away just because he wanted it to.
Closing his eyes, Sasuke leaned his head back and tried to focus on the cool cement wall behind him.
“Uchiha-kun?”
Oh, no. No. No. No!
“Uchiha-kun are you, okay?”
Of course Haruno Sakura would be the one person that chose to walk in a secluded part of the building. Of course it would be the last person he wanted to see him in such a state.
“Do you...need assistance?”
Or maybe...she was the perfect person to find him?
“Uchiha-kun, do you need me to get someone? Or something?”
Her voice was warm and full of concern and just so inviting. The tone promised she would do anything to help him. Anything.
Opening his eyes, Sasuke let out a groan. This just wasn’t his day.
Sakura squatted so that she was eye level with him and tossed her bag on the ground. The hem of her blue button down shirt dress rode up her thigh, revealing more of her legs than he had seen before.
“You look a bit feverish…” she mumbled, placing a cool hand against his forehead before sliding the back of it against his cheek. “You’re really—“
Her sentence was caught off when she gasped. Her skin was so cool and he was so hot that he had leaned into her touch and pressed a kiss to her wrist.
“Um, Uchiha-kun?” Sakura squeaked and Sasuke took advantage of her shock to take hold of her hand and press an open mouthed kiss to the inside of her wrist and dragged his lips up her palm.
He wasn’t sure of what he was doing, but something inside him was telling him to take her slim fingers into his mouth and nibble at the tips.
“Uchiha-kun…?”
Already in his presence for too long, Sakura’s green eyes glazed over and she was beginning to pant. Sliding his left hand up her thigh over her dress, Sasuke gripped her hip gently and tugged her so that she would fall on to his lap.
Sakura’s breath hitched when Sasuke pressed his forehead to hers. His glasses slid down the bridge of his nose and lightly tapped against her face. Nudging her nose with his, Sasuke pressed his lips against hers, guiding her into opening up for him with hesitant movements. Sakura returned his kiss, running her tongue along the seam of his mouth.
Every sigh and moan lightened the ache in his stomach. Sasuke rolled his tongue against Sakura’s and brushed the underside of her right breast, gently strumming his fingers against her ribs.
“Mmh!” Sakura made a sound of surprise as he gave a small breast an experimental squeeze.
Sasuke groped around with his thumb, circling a hardened peak through the cloth of her dress. Sakura grunted in frustration as he avoided the places she longed for him to touch.
Irritation rolled off of her in waves as she bit down on Sasuke’s lip, tugging it as she pulled away from him. Sasuke couldn’t help the upturn of his lips as she crossed her arms in front of her chest and puffed out an exhale to blow hair out of her face.
The more frustrated she got the more her arousal spiked. Her body was demanding release and as much as Sasuke’s hunger clouded mind wanted to give it to her, there was another part that wanted to prolong the moment.
Since the start of the semester, Haruno Sakura had been a nuisance. Every shared lecture she would distract him with her not so subtle glances and the smell of fresh linens and apples whenever she passed him to get to her seat.
So he wasn’t in any particular mood to just get it over with.
Slowly, as not to frighten her off, he slid his hand up her thigh under her dress. He pulled her in closer by cupping the back of her neck and thumbed smoothing circles along her jaw.
Sasuke was sure lack of experience would cause him to stumble, but apparently being an incubus did have its perks. His heightened senses guided him and he was sure he was moving exactly the way Sakura wanted him to. Not a single intake of air or moan was hidden from him.
“Oh!” Sakura buried her face in the crook of his neck as his fingers slipped into the front of her cotton boy shorts.
With two fingers he lightly traced the velvet soft nether lips and hummed in delight at the way Sakura trembled at the slight touch. He wondered how much of it was the exposure to his incubus pheromones and how much of it was her own sensitivity.
Stroking inward, Sasuke groaned at the moisture pooling between her legs. His stomach clenched, cramping with a sudden pang of pain. He slipped his middle finger inside and curled it, feeling her walls and stretching her a bit. He pumped slowly, keeping alert for any signs of distress, and then with his thumb circled around a curious, knobby bit of flesh right above her entrance.
It was almost instant the reaction he got out of Sakura. She gasped and curled inward on herself, clutching his shoulders.
“Please…” she begged, swiveling her hips hesitantly. “Please, oh, please!”
Sasuke gave in and pressed his thumb directly on her clit, massaging it and rubbing circles, adding pressure to it and listening to the change in pitches of Sakura’s moans. Slipping in his ring finger as well had Sakura letting out a strangled cry. Sasuke paused, worried that he had hurt her when she whimpered.
But then Sakura grinded her hips against his hand and he resumed pumping his fingers and twirling his thumb in the way she seemed to enjoy.
“Hm!”
Sakura caught him off guard by taking his face in her hands and lifting his face up to hers. Their teeth clanged together from her eagerness, but Sasuke allowed her to relax and settle into a languid meshing of lips all on her own.
A moan rolled into his mouth and it caused a delightful shiver to run down his spine. Sasuke increased the pace of his pumping fingers and the rubbing of his thumb, coaxing more of Sakura’s little moans. He shuddered when one particular moan of hers hit at the same time the walls of her core fluttered and clenched around his fingers.
That was good…
Sasuke pulled his fingers out, smirking at the dejected whimper that fell from Sakura’s lips. He slipped the fingers that had just been inside of her gathering her fluids and sucked on them. His stomach growled, needing more.
Sasuke laid Sakura down on the linoleum floor and tugged on her panties, dragging them down from her legs. He kept an eye on her face for any signs of protest but instead what he got was Sakura shimmying her hips to assist in helping him peel away her undergarments.
“Huh?” Sakura blinked her unfocused eyes as Sasuke adjusted their positions so that her upper body was lying on the ground and her legs were lifted onto his shoulders. “What are you━?”
She cried out in shock as he cupped the pert rounds of her backside and pulled her up to his mouth. Sasuke let out a breathy chuckle before flattening his tongue against her core and giving it one long lick upwards, flicking her clit at the end of the stroke.
Sasuke groaned, pressing open mouthed kisses to her core as Sakura covered her mouth with her hands to reign in her moans.
No matter how hard she tried to keep quiet and hide her reactions, Sasuke felt them all as they warmed his lower stomach, easing the ache he had been suffering through for weeks.
I wouldn’t have been avoiding this if I knew how good it felt to feed.
Sasuke wrapped his lips around the bundle of nerves that caused the most delight and sucked on it. He adjusted his hold on her to slide his right hand around so he could slip his fingers back inside and thrust them in and out in tandem with the oral attention he was giving her clit.
It didn’t take long for Sakura to tense up, thighs squeezing together around Sasuke’s head as she held on tight to her orgasm. Sasuke licked languidly at her core, letting her ride it out as long as possible.
The better she felt the less empty his stomach felt. The only problem was the throbbing between his legs.
Sasuke laid Sakura back down on the floor. Her dress bunched up around her hips, showing off her bare pale legs and the tuft of glistening pink curls at the peak of her thighs.
She was so pink everywhere. Her hair, her flushed face, even down below she was just so pink.
Sakura peered up at him from beneath wet, pale lashes. Her chest rose with each harsh pant as she tried to settle down her breathing. Sasuke was just about to call it off—perhaps he had reached the limit as to how much Sakura could take at once—when she lifted the hem of her dress further up, dragging it to bunch up at the cinched section below her breasts.
Swallowing hard, Sasuke sat up on his knees and tugged his jeans lower on his hips.
“Holy…” Sakura shook her head and squeezed her eyes shut. “That’s not going to fit.”
It was a part of the incubus anatomy that Sasuke hadn’t considered causing him any issues before. Sakura was petite, much smaller than he was. The size difference would be a challenge.
Especially considering incubi had much, much larger members than humans.
“It’s going to be fine,” he assured her, kneeling in front of her.
He spread her legs wider and pulled her up so that she was propped on his lap. It was a move that had his cock brushing the entrance of her core and he groaned at the heat radiating from her.
Sasuke pressed the head of his cock and watched Sakura’s eyes as they widened when he inched further in.
Sakura whimpered as he stretched her further. Even with all of the foreplay earlier, Sasuke was still much too big for comfort. Sasuke soothed her by stroking her thigh. Sakura reached up and took his hand in hers and intertwined their fingers.
“Keep,” She panted, “going.”
Gripping her hip with his other hand, Sasuke steadied her as he pulled out and thrust back in. He kept his thrusts shallow, hoping to get her accustomed to having him inside of her.
“Oh!” Sakura tightened her hold on his hand when he sank further in, finally able to slip past the tight passage of her core.
It’s still not much inside though…
Sakura arched her back, clearly ecstatic at the new sensation as Sasuke picked up the pace. Her face was no longer pinched in discomfort, much to Sasuke’s relief.
But maybe it would be better if I…
Sasuke slipped out and Sakura sobbed at the loss of his girth inside of her. He knew that his pheromones and body fluids acted as an aphrodisiac but he didn’t realize that humans could become so desperate once they came in contact.
Sasuke turned Sakura over so that she was lying down on her stomach. Realizing what he was up to, Sakura braced herself on her forearms and arched her back so that her ass was in the air.
Sitting up on his knees, Sasuke took his cock in his hand and guided himself back into Sakura’s wet heat.
He groaned aloud at the feeling as he sank even deeper than he was able to before. He waited for a moment as Sakura got used to the new position. A high pitched cry had gotten caught in her throat as he had stretched her out once more but it had turned into a moan as he slipped further inside.
Using a two handed grip on her hips to anchor himself, Sasuke pulled out and drove back in. His pace was slow but the thrusts were harsh and deep as he soaked in the blissful energy radiating from Sakura.
Sasuke began to increase his pace when a door opened up from a floor above them. A loud set of girls had flung the door open and were giggling to each other as they made their way down the stairs.
He instantly halted his movements and strained to listen to where the people were heading. He was reluctant to pull out; partially because he was almost well fed, partially because Sakura had turned her head to look back at him, face scrunched up in a pout, silently pleading for another release.
He was pleased to hear their voices carrying upwards, going in the opposite direction of where he and Sakura were hiding on the first level.
A sigh of relief caught in his throat and choked him as Sakura began to push back against him, grinding her hips.
“Oi,” Sasuke chastised, tightening his hold on her hips to still her grinding. They still weren’t in the clear until he heard them exit the stairwell through one of the doors.
Sakura whined low in her throat but settled when he leaned over her and pressed a kiss to her nape. She sighed dreamily as he continued to lavish her with sweet attention. He trailed more down her spine until he heard the clanging of a door shutting.
As soon as they were alone again, he pulled out and rammed back in. He couldn’t drag it out any longer or he would risk them almost getting caught again.
Snaking a hand around Sakura’s hip and down between her thighs, he reached for her clit and pinched it. Sakura squealed and the walls of her core clamped down on his cock. He rubbed it in a pace to match his thrusting.
Sakura mewled in delight as he swiveled his hips, grinding deeply. One good thrust and she came undone once again. Reluctantly, Sasuke pulled out at the last possible moment, ejaculating on the back of her thighs.
He could only compare the decision to pull out to the feeling of someone swiping away the last bite of one’s favorite dish before they could get to it but it would have been unwise to come inside of her without knowing if she were on any birth control.
He moaned softly as the last drops of cum oozed from the slit of his cock’s head. The act was so messy despite how pleasurable it was. It wasn’t going to be fun trying to clean up.
“Haruno,” Sasuke tried to get Sakura’s attention. She was face down on the linoleum, arms having finally given out from under her. “Haruno?”
Sasuke shook her shoulder and when he got no reaction he flipped her over onto her back. Her eyes were shut and her chest rose slowly with each breath she took.
Haruno Sakura had passed out right after her climax. Considering his starved state, he had drained her of more life force than was necessary.
Sighing to himself, Sasuke took out his handkerchief and got to work on wiping his ejaculant from where it was dripping on her legs.
So fucking messy.
.
.
Blinking her eyes open, Sakura yawned before turning her face into the comforting warmth she was leaning against.
A small cough drew her attention up to the face of her classmate Uchiha Sasuke.
“You missed two lecture blocks.”
Sakura narrowed her eyes at him. He had just fucked her until she was unconscious and that was what he wanted to inform her of?
“You’re an incubus.”
If the abnormally large size of his penis wasn’t a dead giveaway, his eyes had shifted colors and glowed red when he had sucked his fingers clean of her fluids. When had they shifted back to dark brown? She had no clue. She had been knocked out by the sudden draining of energy he had consumed.
Sasuke glared at her before averting his gaze. He stared at the wall and muttered, “Unfortunately.”
Sakura took note of how he cradled her in his lap, his cardigan sweater covering her. She watched as he avoided looking at her even as his ears burned hot pink.
He was still Uchiha Sasuke despite everything.
“This might be a weird time to mention it, but I like you. A lot.” The pink on his ears spread down his neck. “And I usually have more stamina than that. I’m not kidding, Uchiha-kun. I was in my high school’s track club.”
Sasuke pinched the bridge of his nose and exhaled deeply.
“How about you start with calling me by my first name and we’ll work from there?”
“I can do that.” Sakura squirmed in his lap, making herself comfortable. She was still exhausted from earlier despite taking almost a three hour nap.
Ah, shit.
“I had an exam during one of those blocks.”
“Shit. I have one in half an hour.”
Sakura burst out laughing as the color drained from his face. He really was still the same Uchiha Sasuke she had been sitting next to all semester.
“At least you won’t be hungry, huh?”
“Real funny…”

Jokes on You
AU: Phoenix Gai Au
Words: 1723
Rating: General
Characters: Hatake Kakashi, Haruno Sakura, Uchiha Shisui, Tenzo|Yamato
Warnings: None
Summary: After a long morning of training, Sakura feels like taking a nap. Possibly the biggest mistake she has ever made.
Made with Help from @sakura-rpblog
When Tsunade-sama had told Sakura to start her adventure into the world and gain knowledge, she hadn’t imagined that it would be full of such interesting experiences. Meeting the forest spirits, and the various creatures and humans that inhabited the land was something that she fully expected.
But being part of a group that included the last remaining phoenix, a Kodama, and a Half human-half Yatagarasu? That had not been in her plans. Neither had training under Kakashi-sensei to learn Kenjutsu or watching the small group she had become a part of bicker over where they were going to go next.
It made her miss her days at the temple. Where food was always collected by some of the other priestesses while Sakura hid away in the basement studying up on the various creatures and clans of the world.
“We need supplies,” Gai insisted, his hands on his hips as he stared down Shisui. “And the last thing we need is you following Kakashi and Sakura to the town. If anyone spots you…”
There’s no moment before today that Sakura can think of where Gai looked so serious. Usually, he was the definition of brightness and sunshine. Both personality-wise and literally. He looked like the sun if he relaxed enough to let himself revert into his true Pheonix form, rather than hiding away in his human disguise.
“You and Kakashi rarely ever spotted me,” Shisui argued, one large feathery arm coming out to rest on Yamato’s shoulder. “Come on Yamato, tell him. I can keep hidden.”
“I’m with Gai on this one,” The Kodama huffed as he brushed Shisui’s arm away from him. “It’s too risky. If you are spotted the humans will chase you down, and if you bring them back to camp…”
Throwing his arms up into the air, Shisui groaned “I know I know. We have to protect the last phoenix. But come on, humans can’t be that bad. Sakura and Kakashi aren’t horrible. They haven’t tried to skewer me for lunch, or kill Gai.”
“You wouldn’t taste good,” Kakashi shot back, coming to a stop by Sakura’s side. “Too stringy. Plus that half-human part of you would make me feel bad about eating you.”
“Ay!” Covering her mouth, Sakura chuckled when Shisui jumped back behind Gai and glared at the older man. “Don’t act as if you’d eat me, Kakashi! It’s creepy!”
“Well, if we don’t go to town to pick up some supplies then my options may be limited,” Kakashi gave his shoulders a shrug. “And if you get caught and we have to retreat because a bunch of humans decides they want to try and make you a trophy for their home, then I won’t be able to get myself food that I want to eat.”
Gai laughed, Yamato slapped a hand over his face, and Shisui hid completely behind the Phoenix.
It was the most ridiculous thing Sakura had ever seen in her life.
“We’ll leave in an hour,” Kakashi stated, his eyes travelling down to Sakura. “Once you’ve had a bit of rest.”
“I’m fine,” She insisted, clenching her fists and throwing a punch into his arm. “You didn’t even tire me out that much during training, Sensei. I could go for another hour.”
As soon as she said that it felt like all of her energy was zapped away from her. Her knees gave out, and the only thing that stopped her from crashing into the ground was Kakashi catching her in his arms.
“Another hour, huh?” If she could glare at him she would, but her body refused to move no matter how hard she tried to force herself to do something. Even just standing up on her own seemed impossible now. “I think at this rate I’m going to end up going into town on my own.”
“ ‘m not… that tired.” Sakura protested even as her eyes started to close.
“Perhaps if you rest, we can have some food ready for you when you wake up,” Yamato offered a soft smile on his face when Sakura glanced his way. “What would you prefer? Yatagarasu soup or some fresh apples from town?”
Shisui screeched, yelling something about ‘bad jokes’ and ‘terrible friends’. No matter how hard she tried to stay awake and listen to what it was Shisui was saying, Sakura found herself slowly passing out in her Sensei’s arms.
She’d just have to ask Gai how the rest of the argument went later. When she was awake and able to listen to the grand story that he’d come up with.
It was already dark when Sakura finally opened her eyes. She blinked a few times, the smell of something delicious filling her senses. Slowly, she stood up from a makeshift bed Kakashi carefully placed her in earlier and walked towards the direction where the smell is coming from.
There, sitting around a small campfire was the rest of the group. Kakashi was leaned up against Gai’s side, his head on the Phoenix’s shoulder and his eyes half-closed.
Across from them, Yamato’s resting under a tree that she’s pretty sure wasn’t there before her nap. Though, it’s not abnormal for the Kodama to grow new tree’s just for him to sit under.
“Sakura!” Gai’s cheerful voice greeted her. “Come, sit down. We’ve already made soup.”
“I made soup,” Kakashi corrected him, sitting up so that Gai could lean forward and scoop up some soup into a bowl for Sakura. “You and Yamato argued over whether or not you should wake her up.’
Rubbing her eyes, Sakura took a seat between Kakashi and Yamato and carefully took the bowl from Gai when he offered it to her.
“Thank you,” she covered her mouth as she yawned, still groggy from her nap. “How long was I asleep?”
“About four hours,” Kakashi explained. “I was able to go into town, get supplies, get back and make soup while you snoozed the day away.”
Impressive, considering town was about an hour and a half away. Though, she wasn’t too surprised. Kakashi didn’t like being around big crowds in her experience, so she could imagine him bouncing between stalls desperately grabbing whatever he needed and getting out of there as quickly as possible.
Usually, he took her along for the trip so that she could talk to people. Get some human interaction.
He always said it was healthy for her, even though he avoided it as much as possible.
“Well, it smells good. Thank you,” digging in, she groaned when the flavour hit her tongue. Delicious as always, and warm. With just the right amount of vegetables and a slice of meat that tasted exquisite.
Examining the group in front of her, she tilted her head when she noticed that Shisui was nowhere to be seen.
Even when she turned her eyes up towards the trees, his favourite place to hide away, there was no sight of him. Almost as if he had disappeared.
As if…
Her face paled, and her eyes shot back down to the bowl in her hand. Now that she thought about it the meat was tastier than what she was used to and tougher.
A little stringy and harder to pull apart than beef or pork.
Setting the bowl down on her lap, she glanced between the three men in front of her. Not one of them was looking at her, and that smile that had been on Gai’s face when she first joined them was now gone.
All three of them looked haunted now.
As if they were thinking about a lost friend.
“K-Kakashi-sensei,” the older man looked at her when she spoke up. “W-where is Shisui?”
Her heart dropped when he turned away from her.
“Sakura,” Yamato spoke up, his voice heavy with regret. “I’m sorry, we tried to save him. We didn’t think…”
Throwing the bowl away from herself, Sakura scrambled to her feet. Horrified by what she had just done. She couldn’t believe it. Surely it had to be a joke.
“You’re lying!” Tears streamed down her face. “Tell me you’re lying! This can’t be. He can’t be…”
She should have defended him. Told her Sensei off for making such a cruel joke.
Covering his mouth, she stared down at the large bowl of soup.
Had they done it?
Did they think it was the only way? The best way to respect their friend?
“You three are terrible!” She snapped, pointing a finger towards her Sensei. “He was our friend! Our comrade! And you…”
“Awww, Sakura-chan,” A smiling face appeared directly in front of her, sending her spiralling backward in shock as she took in the face. Shisui’s face. “You’re so sweet. I knew someone in this group liked me.”
Suddenly the air around the fire changed. The heavy feeling of regret disappeared instantly, replaced by laughter and a light, cheerful energy.
“I can’t believe you fell for that,” Yamato curled up into himself. “I didn’t think that would work.”
“Best idea ever,” Kakashi-sensei hid his face in Gai’s shoulder, barely keeping himself up while he laughed. “Shisui, you’re a mad genius.”
Shisui?
“You!?” Sakura pointed at the Yatagarasu with a look of betrayal. “This was your idea!?”
“You shouldn’t have slept so long, cherry blossom,” Shisui chuckled. “I was starting to wonder if you were ever going to wake up.”
Dropping her arm to her side, Sakura lowered her head.
“Aww, Sakura don’t tell me we upset you,” Kakashi-sensei teased. “It wasn’t that bad, was it?”
“Come on, Cherry blossom.” as soon as Shisui reached out to poke her, she lashed out. Landing a fist right against his face and sending him flying backward into the campfire. Knocking the pot of soup onto the ground and spilling their food all over the ground.
She could hear Kakashi-sensei muttering something about ‘eating before she woke up’ but she didn’t care.
If they starved tonight it was their own damn fault.
“Next time you think about pulling a stunt like that, just remember that it’ll be the last time!” She screamed, turning her back to the group and storming away. “And next time I’ll shove my Bomuti right up your-“
“Sakura!” Yamato cut her off, horrified by what she was about to say.
Good. Maybe it would prevent them from trying to pull a prank on her in the future.

Christmas ShiSaku Fluff
Merry Christmas guys! I was inspired over in the ShiSaku discord by @dijayeah to write this cute and fluffy fic for Christmas. Go check it out and tell me what you think, and here’s a snippet below! :)
Title: Christmas Sushi Dates
Rating: General
Pairing: Haruno Sakura/Uchiha Shisui
The smell of spiced apples and fresh pine filled Sakura’s apartment with warmth as she sat on the couch, waiting for Shisui to come back with their Christmas dinner. They’d opted to grab takeout from their favorite sushi place instead of making a fancy dinner. Simplicity wins every time, Shisui had told her, small smirk on his face as he’d leaned down and kissed her affectionately on her forehead. The heat in his eyes as he left told her he wanted to do more than just kiss her, but he restrained himself. They needed to eat first. Sakura smiled. It was their first Christmas as newlyweds after all.
Lights dimmed low and festive lights on the Christmas tree twinkling gently against the crackle of the lit fireplace, Sakura took a deep breath, feeling at peace as she held a mug of warm mulled wine between her hands. Yes, it was their first Christmas as newlyweds, but it was also their first Christmas alone. Ever since they had announced their engagement a year ago, it had been nothing but planning and craziness until the wedding, which only happened two weeks ago. There was a reason they planned a honeymoon that overlapped with Christmas.
The sounds of the front door unlocking and then opening brought Sakura out of her pleasant thoughts. Shuffling feet made their way over to her, and Sakura could only smile as her heart swelled in her chest as she saw Shisui brushing off snowflakes from his hair as he grinned at her, takeout bag in hand. He was so handsome, and Sakura’s heart still sputtered every time she saw him. She couldn’t believe Shisui was hers.

4. Share a sentence or paragraph from your writing that you’re really proud of (explain why, if you like)
{ It was like walking on the edge of the blade, like every little thing could push him over, and he would fall and fall and fall, and nothing would stop him before the inevitable crash. His mind was teetering on the edge of madness, and he was doing nothing to keep himself away from it. It wasn't like he was inherently evil, or at least he hoped so, but sometimes there would be little, fleeting thoughts finding their way in his mind like little worms eating their way inside an apple. They would stay there, and after a while he would forget about them. Until they would grow. Until he could no longer ignore them. }
It's a little paragraph from a story I'm writing with my best friend, and it's a fantasy of sort. The main character has the power to influence the human mind, but he has never been interested in using his power for good. One day he uses it for his own advantage and from there he starts slowly spiraling down a power-hungry path and the only thing that keeps him from willingly follow that path is his best friend, the only one who knows about his power.
I like this paragraph because it shows how the main character is not fighting against his desire for power, the underlying fear of being evil and knowing that he's going down a dangerous path but doing actively nothing to avoid it. I like it because I think exactly like that- I'm not a good person, and if I had the power to do it I would follow the villain path, but I know that it's wrong, even if knowing it doesn't stop my mind from following dangerous thoughts.
14. At what point in writing do you come up with a title?
It depends. Sometimes I find a word/phrase that would make a cool title and I think "What can I write tied to this title?" while sometimes I finish a story and I've yet to find a title. There is no in-between.
16. Tried anything new with your writing lately? (style, POV, genre, fandom?)
I would like to try something more dark. I've already tried it, with the Danzou/Shisui drabble, but I was not really satisfied. There's something missing, I need to be darker!
I'd also like to try and write with second PoV, because it looks so cool when I read something with that PoV? But I still have to try it.
Let's say it's a work in progress 😁

The Purple Turbo Tube Slide
Genre: Slice of life, Romance, Comedy, fluff
Main-pairing: SasuNaruSasu
Summary:  Naruto (33) and Sasuke (33)  go to their nephew’s birthday party. Soon Naruto goes off to play with the children while Sasuke spends some quality time with his the adults of his family. When Naruto gets a bit over his head he decides to slide down on a children's turbo tube slide and managed to get stuck half-way. Sasuke, annoyed his husband didn’t listen to his warnings, gets a surprise visit from the biggest demon he had to face during his childhood
The Purple Turbo Tube Slide, part one
Sasuke was fixing the collar of his white shirt before fastening the buttons on the ends of his sleeve. He looked over his shoulder to the bed where he could see his husband snoring loudly while hugging the pillows on the empty bed side.
“We’re going to be late,” Sasuke said his eyes fixated on Naruto’s face that was drooling over the pillow. The man had been getting up and falling back asleep for the past two hours. He continued snoring.
“Come on,” Sasuke turned around and walked over to the bed, shaking Naruto. “We have a lot to do.”
Naruto woke up, an groaned annoyed. He grabbed Sasuke’s wrist and pulled him in the bed.
“No, you are not getting out of this.” Sasuke sat up and pushed Naruto’s hand away from him.
“Isn’t there a nicer way to wake your husband up? I’ve heard people waking up to kisses or…” A small smirk appeared on his face.
Sasuke kicked Naruto on the side, so he rolled off the bed and onto the ground. He heard a soft moan once the men hit the floor.  Sasuke leaned over the edge of the bed, looking at his idiot husband, making do with the fuzzy rug.
“I can get used to this, dattebayo..” Naruto muttered grabbing the black cat that was trying to get away and used her as a pillow to hug. Sasuke shook his head, but couldn’t supress a small smile. Naruto was adorable.
“Maybe if you were being nicer, I wouldn’t have such a hard time.”
Sasuke sighed deeply and mockingly began calling: “Sweetie, Baby, darling, Bambi, cutie pie, my one and only, sun of my moon-“
“OK-“ Naruto rolled on his back, and the black cat took her opportunity to get away an jump on the nightstand.
“The line goes, ‘Moon of my life’ and you would’ve known that if you watched HBO with me.”  Naruto sat up and rubbed his eyes before looking up at Sasuke.
“Whatever,” The Uchiha sat down on the edge of the bed and looked down on his husband. They have been married for a while now,  ever since they were twenty-eight and ran off and got eloped. Now they are thirty-three and still madly in love. It was so odd how opposite attract.
Naruto had ocean blue eyes, blond short hair, his left ear was covered in piercings, he had snake-bite piercings and another piercing in eyebrow. His right arm was covered in colourful tattoos, the colour orange sticking out the most because of the nine tailed fox on his upper arm. His stomach had some ancient sealing tattooed on it and his left arm was covered till his elbow, one of the tattoos was Sasuke’s name in hiragana. It is insane to tattoo your back then boyfriend’s name on your arm, but to be fair, he lost a bet with Sasuke and till now did not come to regret it.
Naruto was a nice person, pure hearted and good to the bones. He was friendly, helped everybody he could. He was kind and easy to talk to. He could even befriend the worst person on the earth and even they would end up caring about him.
Sasuke was the opposite of this. He had dark eyes that almost appeared to be black, his hair was midnight blue and his skin didn’t have any art on it or metal in it.  He was cold and always saw the worst in people.
He leaned in and kissed Naruto’s forehead. Naruto smiled at this. They’ve been married for five years and yet every small bit of soft affection from Sasuke made his heart pound like a pre-teen madly in love.
“Fine, fine I’ll hit the shower.” Naruto said, getting up from the floor. “But I’ll get to choose the music on our way to Madara.”
“Fine,” Sasuke agreed “You know what you are going to wear?”
“Uhm...My orange sweater.” Naruto looked over at Sasuke, seeing his expression change ever so slightly.
“I guess…Just jeans with a shirt-“
Sasuke’s face did it again.
“….I go naked?” Naruto raised a questionable eyebrow.
Sasuke’s face did it a third time
“Uhm….What am I going to wear?” Naruto asked feeling the pressure of judgement on his shoulders.
“Well, I guess if you want me to choose what you wear today. I guess I can take a minute to think about it.”
“Don’t pretend like you haven’t been thinking about what I should be wearing all night.”
“Nonsense.” Sasuke said, and it sounded almost believable if it wasn’t for that slight twitch of his lip that formed a minor smirk.
Naruto shook his head.
“The first then minutes I was thinking about what I was going to wear.” Sasuke said.
Naruto gave his husband a small smile and headed to the bathroom where he proceeded to get ready for the day.  He felt a bit hesitant because although he loved Sasuke and his family very much, his family had the tendency to be extremely…Savage. Naruto wasn’t sure if it was normal. He was an orphan ever since he could remember. He did not have any siblings, cousins, uncles or aunts. He didn’t know what was appropriate and what was normal. Sasuke was really close with his family. Ever since his mother died and his father wanted nothing to do with him. His brother and three cousins were always there for him. They were very important to Sasuke and so they were important to Naruto too. He sighed as he pulled on the clothes Sasuke had picked out for him and headed to the kitchen.
“How old is Obito now anyway?” Sasuke asked, he was sitting down on the bar table, apparently texting his brother.
“Turning eleven, I believe.” Naruto said, grabbing something to eat.  Sasuke looked up from his phone to his husband and seemed generally pleased.
“You look handsome,” Sasuke commented, leaning over the bar table. Naruto smiled and leaned in to kiss Sasuke.
“What should we get him?” Naruto asked, “I was thinking-“
“A hunting knife.” Sasuke said absent minded as he read a message Itachi send him.
“He is eleven…” Naruto said, leaning on the table and giving his husband a questionable look.
“Yeah he could have some practice before he turns thirteen and Madara drops him off in the forest for a week to fend for himself.”
Naruto’s expression changed to one of horror before he could see Sasuke look up and give him a soft small smile.
“Joking.” He said before putting his phone down.
“What were you thinking?” Sasuke asked, giving his full attention to Naruto now.
“Video game. It is a bit expensive…And we would probably have to get two…” Naruto had a small grin on his face seeing Sasuke look slightly confused, “Because I kind of want to have the same game.”
“But it isn’t your birthday.” Sasuke said.
“But it will be in like eight months!” Naruto laughed, “I am an adult, I am going to get that game.”
“Sure,” Sasuke said, “then use your own credit cards except of your joined debit card.”
“Boy, when the Korean Elvis married us, you knew what you were getting into.” Naruto laughed, “A public school art teacher who is seriously underpaid.”
“But did you finish that other game that was almost sixty bucks?” Sasuke asked, folding his arms. “I thought we made a promise that you will have to finish a game before you buy another.”
Naruto raised an eyebrow and put his glass of apple juice down before walking towards the bookshelf and grabbed a book turning to Sasuke.
“Did you finish this?” He asked.
Sasuke eyed the book before looking Naruto straight in the eye.
“Yes.” He lied almost convincingly.
“How did it end?” Naruto asked.
“….They got married.” Sasuke remained his straight face.
“Did they though?” Naruto opened the book and looked at the last page. “No, they all die.” Naruto said, pushing the book back on the shelf hearing Sasuke whisper: “Spoilers much…”
He grabbed another book and held it up.
“So you haven’t finish that book and yet…These three books appeared out of nowhere on the shelf.”
“Yeah it is crazy how books just….Appear….” Sasuke sighed looking at Naruto giving him a ‘are you kidding me’ expression, “Alright buy the game.” Sasuke gave in.
They headed To the store to get the gift and headed towards Madara that was a two hour drive to his house in the suburbs. Madara was a men that was very well off. His house had five bedrooms and a huge garden. It was only him and his two sons, Obito and Tobi. His wife and him got divorced three years ago, but they remain on good terms. They went around the back and walked inside the garden. There was a swing set where Itachi was pushing his daughter, Naori. And Shisui was pushing his daughter, Mirai. The girls were laughing and shouting to go higher and higher. Up on the tree house Tobi and Obito, chasing one another.
“UNCLE SASUKE!” Obito shouted from on top of his longs. He slid down the purple turbo tube slide . He ran up to Sasuke and wrapped his arms around the men’s waist and hugged him tightly.
“Happy birthday,” Sasuke patting the boy’s head.
“I’m so glad you came!” The boy said excitedly.
“We got you something very good,” Naruto said, handing Obito the present. “It is actually PG 13,” Naruto whispered.
“Presents after dinner!” Madara shouted from the BBQ grill. He was wearing an apron saying  ‘kiss the cook’. Obito had a pouting expression on his face.
“Uncle Naruto!” Naori and Mirai ran from the swing to Naruto and jumped at him. Tobi wrapped his arms around Naruto’s left arm and Mirai on his right one. Naori hugged his leg as she was just tall enough to reach Naruto’s thigh.
“I drew a cat. You wanna see. You wanna see!” Naori grabbed Naruto’s free arm.
“I drew a dog!” Tobi exclaimed.
“I drew unicorn!” Mirai added.
“Naori, Tobi, Mirai let your uncle Naruto first have a drink first, alright.” Itachi told his daughter and nephew. They both looked sad for a moment and so did Naruto. He looked over at Sasuke.
“Oh just go. Stay hydrated” He said, causing all four to smile again and run inside.
Itachi sighed and looked at his younger brother.
“How have you been, little brother.” He let his hand run down Sasuke’s hair, fixing it slightly on the sides.
“I am thirty-three, can you stop calling me little,” Sasuke said slightly annoyed as he tried pushing his brother’s hand away.
“You could be eighty-two and I still see that little boy running after me and begging me to play with him.” He laughed seeing Sasuke’s slightly embarrassed face.
“Oh remember when he was a baby and kept crawling towards you. Adorable!” Shisui tried to pinch Sasuke’s cheek, but Sasuke had no problem to slap his hand away as soon as it approached him.
“Don’t Shisui, you know he’s a cop now.” Itachi chuckled.
“I’m a detective.” Sasuke corrected his brother, but his words went unnoticed.
They walked up to the patio where the other members of the Uchiha-family were.
“Sasuke, I’m so happy to see you.” Izumi, Itachi’s wife, said as she got up from the chair and gave Sasuke a big hug. She has known him for almost twelve year and still managed to be oblivious to the fact that Sasuke did not like people inside his personal space. He decided to let it slide, yet another time, she did gave birth to his niece after-all. Kurenai, Shisui’s wife, did respect his personal space and greeted him with a simple nod.
“Oh the handsome Uchiha came too,” Mei, Madara’s ex-wife, walked outside, holding two cold beers in her hand. “I’m glad seeing you here again,” she said handing him a cold one and proceeded to smack his ass before sitting down between Kurenai and Izumi. Sasuke had an annoyed expression on his face, glaring at her. She smirked, taking a sip from her beer before putting her hands up and saying, “arrest me officer!”
The awkward tension was shrinking when Madara called for Sasuke: “ Hey Sasgay! Hey Sasgay!” he sniggered at his joke before pointed at the sausage on the grill.
“You want the sausage!” He laughed like he was the villain of a Disney movie.
“I would Maddy but you don’t seem to have it.” Sasuke said, causing Shisui, Kurenai and Izumi to laugh while Itachi tried to hold back his smile.
“Confirmed, it ain’t impressive!” Mei said loudly, “you would think with that bush of untamed hair you would have a-“
Mei was interrupted by the sound of something falling and breaking inside the house followed by Naruto’s voice shouting: “EVERYTHING IS FINE! NOTHING IS BROKEN!”
“I swear to God if that is my mother’s ashes…”
“I be damn happy the ugly urn is out of my house.” Mei finished Madara’s sentence for him. They shared a look and a grin. Even though they were divorced they were great co-parents with the occasional booty call. How they worked…It was a mystery to almost everybody present.
“Nah seems to be the Chinese vase they broke,” Sasuke said looking through the window.
“I thought the purpose of an adult watching over the kids was so they would not break anything.” Kurenai stated.
“Naruto is a slightly taller child,” Mei chuckled “By now you should know that.” She turned her gaze back at Sasuke, her eyes were looking at him like he was some sort of not so secret sexual desire of hers.
“I don’t understand, how are you gay?” Mei said, “I get if you are an ass kind of men, but women have asshole’s too.” She raised an eyebrow.  “We’ve all done butt-stuff, right ladies!” she looked at Kurenai and Izumi that looked away, not willing to participate in the conversation. The awkward tension was back.
“Fine,” Mei sighed, a bored look took over, “But then why not a rich sugar daddy why a mere professor?”
“Professor?”  Sasuke frowned slightly, “He teaches public school.”
“Oh, poor soul.” Madara said. “You know, I have a pretty good divorce lawyer…And he is also very into ass.”
“I get why you two were married…”Sasuke muttered and shook his head at Madara before looking back at Shisui.
“When is Izuna going to be here?” He asked.
“He said he was stuck in traffic-“
“That’s code for not having left the building yet,” Sasuke said, rolling his eyes.
Maybe if Izuna got here he could take some of the heat off Sasuke. Izuna was quite the hot mess of the family. He would have been able to swift the conversation away from Sasuke.
Sasuke took a sip from his beer before looking at the cool box and pushing it away from the door opening to the side. It caused most of the others to give him a slightly odd look, but soon their questions were answered when Obito, Mirai, Tobi and Naori ran from the back door in the garden, all four not looking in front of them as they rushed towards the tree house. Naruto ran outside getting a strange looks from his in-laws.
“…We’re playing a game….” He said.
“Naruto, you don’t have to look after the children. They’ll be fine as long as they are in our view.” Izumi said, “sit down, you want a beer?”
Naruto’s expression stiffened and Sasuke had a small smile on his face.
“Yeah…I would do that but…You know…We’re playing tag and you know…I am ‘it’ so…..” Naruto slowly walked away before sprinting off.
“He would make a great father, don’t you think?” Kurenai stated, getting an agreeing nods from Itachi and Shisui.
“Speaking of children-“
Sasuke rolled his eyes, he couldn’t believe how un-smooth they managed to swift the conversation to yet another sensitive topic.
“I don’t think so-“ Sasuke was quickly interrupted by Mei
“I would be honoured to be like your surrogate.” Mei said and for a moment Itachi looked very weirded out. He gave his brother a quick look and shook his head.
“No…” Sasuke said.
“Adoption is great too.” Shisui said. “We’re actually talking about adopting a second child.”
“Why you have good swimmers yourself, don’t you?” Madara commented.
“It is not about being fertile-“
“We’re bored already,” Madara added.
The door bell rung and Madara looked annoyed.
“it is probably Izuna,” Itachi said, “forgot to use the back door as stated in the evite.”
Madara walked back inside the house as Sasuke looked at the tree house where he could see Mirai, Naori and Obito ,Naruto and Tobi.  He headed towards it.
Sasuke didn’t know how he got the ability to sense something going wrong before it happened, but he knew he become like this after Naruto and he moved in together.
“Hey Naruto,” he called out. Not a moment later his husband looked down.  “I don’t think the tree house was built for more than two children-“
“Looks pretty steady to me.” right as he said that Mirai screamed at the sight of a spider and bumped right onto Obito that fell over the wooden window. Obito screamed but was saved by Sasuke  who caught him in his arms. Obito stopped screaming and wrapped his arms around sasuke hugging him tightly.
“I’m so sorry!” Mirai shouted.
“Enough, everybody out of the tree house. That includes you Naruto.” Sasuke said with a strict voice. He was just happy no other adult has seen Obito fall down or else he wouldn’t hear the end of it.
“Owh men…” Naruto turned his head to Mirai, “you ruined it for all of us.”
“Thanks uncle Naruto…” You could see the slight annoyance on her face.
“Can I go from the turbo tube slide !” Naruto shouted as the children climbed down the ladder.
“It is designed for children, not grown men.” Sasuke said.
“I bet I fit in there…” Naruto said eyeing the turbo tube slide  before diving head first in it. Sasuke could hear Naruto get stuck at the turn of the tube slide.
Sasuke put Obito on the ground, the boy was shaking.
“Get over yourself, you aren’t hurt.” Sasuke said harshly before walking to the end of the turbo tube slide .
“You’re stuck, aren’t you?” He asked squatting down at the end of the turbo tube slide .
“No….” He could hear Naruto’s voice echo. He couldn’t see him, it was too dark inside the purple tube.
“I told you not to. Do I need to call the fire department….Again?” he sighed. He really didn’t want to explain for a second time to the firefighters that Naruto was his husband, a thirty-three year old men and mentally not behind in a…Diagnosable way.
“No! I can totally get out of here!” Naruto shouted back. Sasuke shook his head while feeling somebody tap his shoulder. He didn’t want to hear any of his family’s mockery so he pushed the hand away without looking behind him.
“Not now, I’m busy because an idiotic moron got himself stuck inside a children’s turbo tube slide ! AND NEVER LISTENED TO ME!” Sasuke shouted the last part right inside the tube slide so Naruto could hear it echo.
“I’m sorry….” He could hear a slight mumble coming back.
Sasuke rolled his eyes and sighed deeply before turning around, expecting to see his brother, but the moment he did. His heart stopped beating and his body stiffened. His expression changed from annoyed to ultimately shocked.
Standing right in front of him was Fugaku Uchiha, his father, who he hadn’t seen or spoken to in ten years. The men who had belittled him, crushed him and abandoned him. The man that made every bit of love, happiness and light disappear from Sasuke’s life for the longest time.
Sasuke quickly looked in the corner of his eyes where he could see Madara, Itachi, Shisui and Izuna stand there staring at the situation speechlessly. Mei, Izumi and Kurenai looked confused. He felt like a weak hopeless child again.
“Hey! I can crawl! ” Naruto’s voice came from the slide, waking Sasuke’s up. He realised he was no longer a child he was an adult and he was a respected detective, he was married and had two cats. Yet his husband is stuck in a purple turbo tube slide for a second time in his life.
“Father…” Sasuke spoke softly.
“You look just like your mother.”
“That is not much of a compliment for an adult men.”
“It wasn’t meant as one. It’s an observation.”
“Very well.”  Sasuke lowered his eyes, even when he tried to remind himself he was an adult his father did manage to get the upper hand and make him feel worthless.
“I see you got married” He indicated to the ring on Sasuke’s finger.
Just before Fugaku could say something else, he could hear a scream coming form the tube slide. Naruto slit out of the slide, head first, and landed on the ground. He groaned when his back hit the grass and looked up at the sky seeing his husband’s face giving him a concerned look and a grumpy old men giving him the most disgusted look he had ever seen somebody give him.
Naruto set up, rubbed the back of his head before standing up. From the conversation he heard from inside the tube slide, he wished he could have stayed stuck there for a little longer.
“Uhm…Hey…I’m Naruto….” Naruto said, getting up and extending his hand to Fugaku, he looked down at Naruto’s left hand, seeing a wedding ring, before looking at the extended hand in front of him.
He remained quiet.

[ 365 Days of SasuHina || Day Fifty: Apple Tree ] [ Uchiha Sasuke, Hyūga Hinata ] [ SasuHina ] [ Verse: A Light Amongst Shadows ] [ AO3 Link ]
“...what is that?”
“My new project!” With a soft clack, Hinata sets a pair of pots atop the front porch, alongside a bag of potting soil, and a small envelope.
“...some...plants?”
“Mhm!” Unburdened of her supplies, Hinata stands upright with a soft sigh, hands at the small of her back. “I’m going to try raising two bonsai trees.”
Sasuke perks a brow. “...like, the miniature trees?”
A nod.
“...what brought this on?”
After a small pause, Hinata’s expression sobers. “...I had one back when I lived with my father and sister. It had been one my mother had raised from a seed before she married my father. It was a wisteria tree...and it was beautiful. But…”
Shoulders wilt, and Sasuke glances to her carefully. “...when Konoha was attacked by Pein, the entire village was destroyed, including the Hyūga grounds.”
He knows that much. It’s why their current home - one of only three in the entire Uchiha compound - sits mostly in a large field of grass. The village had been kind enough to level the ground bequeathed to the clan, but none of the prior structures had been spared...nor rebuilt. Now all that takes up space thus far is his brother’s home, Shisui’s, and his own.
Which...is also Hinata’s.
“So, when we cleared through the rubble, o-obviously it didn’t survive. It was crushed, and the trunk snapped...the last living part of my mother was just...g-gone.” For a moment, it almost seems like she’s going to cry. “...b-but I promised myself, when I got married, and had a home of my own...then I would make a new tree. One for myself, and...to pass on to one of my children, if they wanted it.”
“...I see…”
They sit in silence for a few moments before Hinata looks back up, trying her best to smile. “...so! That’s what this is all for.”
“Will they be the same type?”
“No, I thought I’d try something different. Ino-chan talked me into it…” She reaches for and holds up the little package of seeds. “It’s for a-apple trees!”
“...apple…? Can a tree that small really make a fruit?”
“Mhm! She has one that grows cherries - it had so many! She said you can either let it have multiple blossoms, o-or just trim it down to one. The more blossoms, the smaller the fruit will be. But you have to have two, so they can pollinate each other.” She gives a shy little shrug. “...as much as I like flowers, and as beautiful as wisteria is...I thought something different might be fun to t-try. And I can always do more. They take longer to grow from a seed, so...I might get saplings if I try to do some other ones. But I wanted the first to be mine from the beginning, you know?”
“Mm.”
Curious, Sasuke stays and watches as she goes about setting up the pots. But to his surprise, she doesn’t plant them yet. “Do you have to wait?”
“I’m going to sprout them outside the pot first. Once they’ve grown a little, I’ll plant them! It takes between two and three months, because you keep them cold to simulate wintering! Here, I’ll show you.” Taking the seeds inside, she goes about carefully dampening a light cloth, wrapping the seeds, and sealing them in a container before putting them in the fridge. “In about...oh, eighty days or so, I-I can plant them!”
“Talk about a slow payoff.”
That earns a laugh. “Well, then they have to grow. And it’ll be several years before they can grow any fruit. But that’s part of the fun - over time, you help prune and shape the trees with w-wires.”
“...wires?”
“Mhm! You wrap them around the branches -” she even mimes the motion “- and use that to carefully bend and shape them. It’s why bonsai have such unique shapes! You have to be diligent with them. Yes, it takes a long time, and effort...but it’s something you put all that energy into, and then get rewarded for your patience, and diligence.” Just to tease him, Hinata gives Sasuke a small, sly smile. “...just like people take time to change a-and grow. Like when we met - well, met again - when you came back. It took time, and patience. And now look at us.”
In spite of himself, he gives a soft snort of amusement. “...I guess I understand. I’ve never been one much for plants is all.”
“It definitely has to be something you care about. Kāsan loved flowers, so...she passed that love on to me. Hanabi...well, she’s not really ‘for plants’ either.” Hinata giggles into the cuff of her sleeve. “She prefers more...timely rewards for her efforts.”
“Hm...maybe I’ll get myself a cactus.”
“Oh, that would be so cute!”
...well, he was mostly joking, but...maybe that way he can pseudo-participate. Plants might not be his thing, but they are hers. Why not give it a try, at least in some capacity?
Only a few days later, she does indeed get him a tiny little cactus: round, plump, and plenty spiny. “See? Isn’t it cute?”
“...sure,” he replies, unable to help a grin. “...I’ll call it Hari.”
That just makes her snort. A cactus named needle...that works.
More than two months later, Hari finds itself joined in the sunniest window ledge by two pots: each containing a newly-sprouted seed. While the little cactus isn’t watered nearly as often (which is good, because Sasuke forgets he even has the thing half the time), Hinata still gives it a cheerful good morning when she waters her own plants.
Slowly, oh so slowly, they begin to grow.
From there, progress is marked more around the plants than upon them. Three years after their marriage (and about two and a half since Hinata started her little project), a new little growth joins the family: a son, Tenkai. He sits in his mother’s lap when she carefully prunes and arranges the branches each Spring, and trims them every so often throughout the year. Two years later, little sister Chikyū is born. Little hands reach for the growing limbs, carefully guided aside by Hinata. Once she’s older, she’s taught to help.
Tenkai joins the Academy. And still no flowers. No fruit. Over eight years have passed now, and Sasuke begins to wonder if it will ever happen.
“It can take quite a while,” Hinata assures him. “I haven’t given up yet!”
Another two go by, and it’s nearly time for Chikyū to join her brother. And as the Spring approaches...little buds form along the branches. They grow to bursting...and then unravel into pretty white blooms.
A decade later, and Hinata’s patience has paid off.
It’s such a milestone, the little family goes so far as to have a celebratory dinner. “Well, in a few months, maybe we’ll have some apples to eat, hm?” Hinata laughs.
“We better, after all that work.”
“Hari’s going to be jealous.”
“Hari doesn’t need flowers or fruit. Hari just does what Hari does.”
“And what’s that?”
“...prick my finger whenever I try to say hello.”
The whole table laughs, three pots in the window silent in the evening shadows.
And late again. Though this time mostly due to a handful of family emergencies ^^; Excusable I hope, ahaha~ But we HAVE hit a milestone: fifty entries! And all without any late days! Well...late as in skipping and sleeping. I think y'all know by now most of mine happen after midnight, whoops...      Anyway, this prompt was...rather random, but I happened to recall a picture of an apple bonsai, and just...went from there! From what I read, it CAN take almost a decade for them to finally start to make fruit. Good thing Hinata's so patient!      Anyway, I'm...exhausted, so time to call it a night. We'll see about getting things done more timely tomorrow now that some of the worry has passed. Thanks guys for all your support, and thanks for reading!

black mirror.
prompt: after shisui’s suspicious death, haku demands to see him again so he can say goodbye to the first person to ever show him kindness. grandmother tsukimono obliges. (  a weird short snippet-thing uchiha adoption au thing for @zanzou i guess ? ) cw: body horror, eye stuff, scarification, sadism?, masochism?, haku's fucked up family history and his even more fucked up evil grandma, and uh, kinda worms,,,
Tumblr media
“ It shall not be the real him, ” tsukimono repeats, warning hissing against the gravel of her voice like arctic waters. shards of muddy blue chakra flicker and lance against the obsidian cave walls, the same frostbitten blue of her lips, tongue, eyelids, the web of chakra suspending her several feet up the wall as she stares down at the boy from the mirror with dead eyes. he is smaller than the last time he dragged himself from the frozen waters of her ice mirror, a boy in body as well as spirit. less hungry, more bitter. skinnier, dirtier, angrier.
she likes this haku better already. maybe.
woven chakra snaps from the web, snatching the boy’s ankles and yanking him toward the oracle and dangling him upside down before his ancestress.  she can smell the uncertainty pouring off him, her cursed blood coursing through his veins, the bittersweet tang of lingering sorrows, but. not fear. he is not afraid of her. that much she sees in his failure to flinch, the way he does not resist the chakra strands slowly cocooning him. ah, the false bravado of youth. she doesn’t miss it.
tsukimono rights him, then leans closer, unabashedly scratching a talon over the curve of tendon in the child’s heel, smiling at the cord’s tense and jump beneath her fingers, missing, for a moment, the days when her body could still disobey her and when her legs could twitch and jump and run without the aid of chakra puppetry.  “Nor shall it be free.”
Tumblr media
“I don't care. I want to see him. I want to see Shisui-san one last time.” the boy repeats, voice more flint than river water.
“The world cares not what you want, child, and I even less." the witch cackles, the sound tangled with the mash of juniper berry and smashed ginger between her red-stained teeth, wet and harsh, bone grating against stone, folding her great, spindling torso to rest both thumbs against the grooves between his eyes and nose, cracked nails hovering over the wicks of his eye, jagged tips pressing into sensitive, weak, oh so easily punctured flesh. already her chakra is worming over him, thin and sharp, winding and nuzzling into his psyche like fingertips testing the skin of an apple: looking for where the flesh gives. “ What shall you give me, I wonder, to lay eyes upon the dead and blind? Your body? Your soul? It is no small thing, to cheat death, even for a glimpse beyond the veil.”
“A deal.” the boy exhales slowly, shrewd brown eyes boring into manic, delighted violet. “I don’t know why, but I know you’re trapped here, in time, wherever this is.” his eyes linger on the talismans above the cavern’s exits, the ritual scars cut and keloiding the mouth of her palms. “In return for letting me see Shisui-san again, I will grant you one favor. I will let you see through my eyes.” and then, a shade too polite to be genuine, “It must be hard, to be so nasty your own people sealed you away in the dark, right, onibaba? Surely you’d like something to watch while you wait to starve to death.”
the witch snarls, eyes flashing neon as the darkness bubbles and lashes against stone and earth in her irritation, furious at this boy for seeing the truth of her confinement so easily. perhaps he is not so young and ignorant as she thought. “I should eat you for your insolence!” she sneers, contorting herself over him, baring red-stained teeth and claws in warning, but the boy smiles at her, already caught on to the hopeful, longing look in her eyes. what a sneaky, miserable little child.
“Take me to him.” he says, louder this time, though with blessedly less certainty,  “And my eyes -- my eyes are yours.”
the boy, bless him, curse him, blast him, refuses  to close his eyes or fight as tsukimono’s chakra begins eating into him, not even when the worms dig into the cavities under his jaw and begin to burrow. tsukimono shudders at the first waft of pain’s smoky stink, a rare rush of warm exhiliration arcing across the malicious bridge between their shared chakra systems into her body. she has been so cold and alone for so long, but pain -- pain never fails to make her feel real.
selfishly she wants him to cry out, to wriggle and squirm, to panic and fight like an insect caught in a web, the animal of her bloodline itching to take it a step further and drive her to ecstasy by watching the light fade from his eyes --- but she needs him. he is her legacy, after all. hers and raijiri’s. he remains useful. and he is not yet ripe enough for her to reap.
“Oh, child of my children, blood of my bone,” the witch jeers, nails sinking slowly into his skin, acursed chakra flooding into his cursed blood, her web pulsing with light and power like stormclouds just before lightning’s strike, “You are already gone.”
tiny threads burst from the body of the web, filling in the gaps until a full moon mirror hangs heavy and pregnant below them so quickly the boy hardly has time to process what’s happened before talons snatch his neck and hurl him into the depths -- he does, however, have time to loose a shrill, surprised, yelp before the chakra pool sucks him under and whisks him away to the realm of ghosts and demons, and tsukimono cherishes the sound like the sweetest of meats.

Pancakes
“You made it” Itachi walked right to Shisui and opened his arms to receive a hug, “You are going to release me from this prison” “If this is the prison, then you are the warden, bro” Itachi opened his eyes and was met with mine. He broke the hug and stood in front of me. I looked up, Itachi looked so much taller from this angle. “Otouto” He spoke, pulling my hoodie down. I hissed, he grabbed some my hair with it. I rubbed the back of my head. “You are pale” He suddenly leaned in and cupped my cheek in one hand. “He hasn’t eaten till now” Shisui said. “That reminds me, I did promise him to get some food on our way back home” “You are telling me you are letting him eat Mcdonalds as breakfast?” Itachi turned around and I was glad I was sitting down because his ponytail would have bitched slapped me otherwise. “Hey, you have not been with him he woke up at nine! Nine! It has been-” He cleared his throat before imitating my annoying voice, “Shiiisssuuiiiii~I am hungry, Shiiisssuuuiiii~” “At least I am the only one moaning your name, eeeehhhh~” I raised my hand to get some sort of high five, but instead my entire body just moved to the left and I just laid there. “My bloodsugar is very, very low” I added. “Mr. Uchiha?” A woman walked in the hallway, looking right at me. Apparently I was the last one or some shit. “Coming” I said and remained on my side, “Just give me a minute” I figured I should just use all my energy and get up, but instead...I rolled off the bench to the ground, and the worse part of it all...nobody even extended a hand to help me up. “Oh, don’t bother, I don’t need help!” I said, crawling over the ground. “He did that all the way from the parking lot to here” I could hear Shisui whisper to Itachi. “How unsanitary” Itachi commented. I groaned, forcing my weak arms to hold my torso and I finally got up and immediately sat down in the chair. She wrapped some sort of belt around my arm. “It is to help-” “Oh, I know the logic, I am heroin addict, I shoot heroin up my arm for three years...I have been clean...3 days...” I said, looking down and nodding my head slightly. It’s time to play a game called How-to-make-people-think-Itachi-is-a-sick-fuck. “It really my fault getting addicted...though..I would have never started using it if I...never met Dr.Uchiha” “This arm?” She grabbed something to clean the spot with. I nodded. “Hnf...there are no signs of any injections in this arm, are you sure you were a heroin addict for three years?” She asked with a mocking voice. “Whatever lady…” I felt story blocked by her. I hissed when she stuck the needle in me without any mercy. Like the heartless killer she must be. “Oops” She said sarcastically, pulling the needle back out, “My mistake” “You are evil” I hissed. “You thought your brother was bad” She said and I swear I saw fire appear in the background, “You haven’t met me, pretty boy” “Thanks…” I whispered, before getting the next five minutes a needle stuck in and out my arm because apparently “She couldn’t find my vein” . “What was taking you so long?” Itachi asked. “Your entire hospital is a joke...a joke!” I hissed, turning my head around to get one last look at the devilish lady. “You might have crushed my arm, but you can’t touch my hopes and dreams...because Itachi already crushed those!” “Like hell I did, it is called self-sabotaging and it something you are a star at” Itachi commented. I wrapped my arms around Shisui. “Shisuuiii~”  I whined, “Carry me” “There is a wheelchair, right there-” “Carry me!” I shouted, feeling him wrap his arms around me and throwing me over his shoulder. “Otouto, I can get cookie from the vending machine if you are that hungry-” I sushes Itachi. “Whatever I am going to eat now is going to taste twice as good, I am all up for a dinner with greasy fooodddd~” “It beats Mcdonalds” Shisui commented. “I doubt it” Itachi sighed. I lost track of time, mostly because every second seems like an entire minute to me, but damn was I glad we finally made it to the dinner and I could already smell the pancakes. Yup, now I wanted pancakes and a lot of them. “What do you want to get?” Shisui asked me. “Pancakes” I said “Really?” He seemed surprised. Probably because I am more a sandwich guy than pancake guy. “Yes, a lot of pancakes...with jam...a lot of jam” I said. “That I can do for you, cutie” I lifted my head at the waiter, “Yeah, I normally work in the kitchen, but we are running low on staff...so...now I do both” “Working hard or hardly working?” Itachi looked at me and I glared back. “Whatever, my music career is going to take off” “What?” Shisui asked confused. “Music career? Otouto, why are you digging your own grave?”  Itachi asked, raising a bitchy eyebrow. “At least try to sound believable” I sighed. “I will have some waffles and tea” Itachi said. “I’ll have some coffee” Shisui said. “Can I do you some apple pie with that?” The waiter asked. “Yes, make that two slices” I raised my hand and I heard him chuckle. “You got quite the appetite, cutie” He put his small notebook away, “Apple pie is on the house” And with those words he took off and I hope by god he was going to make the best damn pancakes I ever had. “Ooooeeee, sassukkeee~” Shisui put on a teasing tone in his voice. “What?” I asked. “Come on, cute guy, works in the kitchen, obviously can cook and is getting you free apple pie...you at least owe him your number” “I owe nobody nothing” I folded my arms. “Am I the only one seeing a perfectly healthy equation here?” Shisui looked at Itachi who looked sceptical.  “Sasuke loves to eat, the guy is a chef and obviously doesn’t mind feeding our Sasuke” “Tch” Itachi hissed, “Oh, look somebody got shot and is now bleeding out on the ground, oh, I am a medical professional...it is meant to be” Itachi imitated Shisui’s teasing voice. “Dude, isn’t that how you basically met Suké?” A silence emerged. “Well, fuck, you got lawyered” I commented. “So, are you going to leave your number...or...are you going to ask him out?” “Shisui, since when are you cupid? Get your nose out of my love life” I sighed, sitting back. I turned my head to the kitchen and I saw the waiter walk out, skillfully holding three plates and two mugs. If I didn’t know better he looked like a male version of Tina from princess and the frog. I could smell the pancakes from here and damn were they delicious.   “Here you go” He put down the coffee mugs first before putting Itachi’s plate in front of him. ”Waffles, got some apple pie and~” “EVERYBODY QUIET THE FUCK DOWN!” A few gunshots were heard, aimed for the roof.  “WE DON’T WANT ANY CASUALTIES, DO WE?! JUST SIT STILL AND DO AS WE SAY!” Two people walked in, wearing ski masks over their faces.   “You are coming with us!” The ski mask person suddenly grabbed the waiter by his arm, causing the waiter to drop my plate with pancakes. My eyes widened when I saw my hopes and dreams fall and shatter on the ground. All the noises seemed to go and all I could see where the pancakes on the ground...my precious...pancakes…. “Sasuke!” “Sasuke!” I turned my head to Itachi and Shisui before looking up seeing the other ski mask wearer  standing in front of me , holding a bag which already contained quite some wallets. “You fucked up my pancakes” I whispered, looking up at the dude. “You know...I have been starved this entire morning...waiting...for pancakes” I stood up. “Sasuke! No!” “Sit down!” “Hey! Sit the fuck down!” The person held his gun up to my face and I started to laugh almost psychotically. “You think this is the first time I had a gun pointed to my head?” I asked. I figured I should show him instead. I suddenly grabbed his wrist with both hand, moving his hand so it wasn’t aimed at my head. I pulled myself closer, throwing my legs up and wrapping them around his neck, before pulling him down. I landed on my feet, holding his gun in my hand while he was moaning on the ground. I put the safety on and put it in the back of my jeans. “You wanna fight, pretty boy?” He wiped some blood off his face and I smirked. “I have been called that a lot lately” I said, cracking my fingers. “Oh, you wanna go?!” He stood up, jumping slightly while holding up his fist. He tried to directly punch me in the face, and all I could think off is that whoever this guy thought he was...he was nothing but street garbage who thought he was street-smart. I moved my head away and grabbed his wrist again, twisting his arm around before moving my own body in a cartwheel motion in the same direction. I put one leg behind his head, the other in front. I dragged him down on the ground, forcing his body to make a somersault. His back hit the ground and he gasped for air, but I wasn’t about to let him go. I wanted him to feel like my plate of precious pancakes getting dropped on the filthy fucking floor! “Get the fuck off!” I heard a gun click and I got up, turning my head around to see ski mask number 1, holding the pancake maker as his hostage. I narrowed my eyes. “Fucking drop the gun!” He shouted. I grabbed the gun, took the ammunition out before throwing the the rest on the ground. “Listen-” “Don’t give me no fucking speech! I’m holding the fucking gun, I am the one who gets to say shit!” He put the gun against the waiter’s head. “But you are wrong” I grabbed the guy who was on the floor by his hair, forcing him on his knees. I grabbed his arm, kicking right in the elbow. I could hear the bones break, everybody could hear the bones break. I threw the person back on the ground. “I don’t need a gun to claim the same amount of dominance you think you are having” I put my food on the broken arm, putting my weight on it causing the person to scream louder. “You are sick!” “Drop the gun and kick it over” I said, putting more weight on the arm. The guy suddenly stopped screaming, guess he passed out. “YOU ARE FUCKED UP!” The guy shouted before dropping the gun and kicking it over to me. He let the waiter go who quickly ran. I grabbed the gun and walked towards the ski mask person. “You know” I kicked him in the knee cap so he was smaller than I was, I grabbed him by his hair and leveled him to my eye length “I am hungry as fuck...and if you don’t want to end up like your buddy over there, you better pray to your grandmother that she taught you how to make a decent fucking pancake” “Dude...this was all about the fallen plate of pancakes?” I let go of his hair. “You bet your fucking ass it is!” “...so...you are saying if we had waited after you had eaten...you wouldn’t have done any of this?” “Hnn...for somebody who is about the get his legs broken...you sure talk a lot” I said, “Make.The.Damn.Pancakes” He got up and ran towards the kitchen, but then I already heard a siren and not 10 seconds later the cops came. Oxoxoxo “You know how angry I am! You should’ve just let the guy rob the place! You could have been in real danger!” I wasn’t sure how long Itachi was nagging, I was way too busy eating this egg sandwich an old co-worker of my father’s gave me the moment he heard the story. Actually, he only heard my name and hunger and he seemed to know enough. “Dude, he was badass! Cut him some slack” Shisui commented before hitting his elbow in Itachi’s arm. Itachi looked behind me before allowing Shisui to pull him away. I turned my head around seeing the waiter. “Hey...Sasuke, right?” He asked nervously. “I am sorry you got in such a mess by helping me” “I was really hungry, to be fair” I said, pointed at the half eaten egg sandwich. He chuckled nervously. “You are really cute” He held up a plastic bag and my eyes widened. “Are...those...my...pancakes?” I asked swallowing loudly. He nodded and I took the bag. “You are a hero” I could cry right now from happiness. “No, you are my hero” He suddenly leaned in and placed a kiss on my cheek, “Thank you” He whispered. I suddenly felt warm and I put my hand on my kissed cheek. Waaaaaahhhhhh~ what was this sudden feeling of happiness inside me!? Is this how it feels to be appreciated?! I was so not use to this feeling. “The fuck!?” That voice sounded familiar. I looked up and by my surprise I saw Naruto getting out of the store right in front of the dinner. “First Utakata, then Nardo and now this motherfucker, dattebayo!” “No! It not like...Waaaaaahhh~” Oxooxox special thanks to @failureoftheyear for editing oxoxoxo

I need some Uncle!Itachi feels! Something (headcanons or a scenario or whatever you'd like) in a non-mass AU with Itachi and Sarada interacting? :3
(Cute adopted uncle!itachi and Sarada headcanons to balance out the sadness)
* Itachi would spoil her rotten every time he got the chance with what ever she wanted.* He would sneak her candy before dinner.* He would tell embarrassing story’s about Sasuke* He would also love giving her private lessons from a legendary ninja.* If Sarada has a serious thing she needs to talk about she will talk to Itachi about it* She makes him teach her how to cook too* She always takes his side and vice versa when sasuke says they can’t do something fun* He’s 100% the cool uncle that she has no problem being in public with* Sasuke does his best so Itachi and Naruto are never together with Sarada because she will definitely get what she wants * Thought her dangerous justus at a young age * When she was little he would take her to the park and he would watch her from the bench with all the other moms and they all know who he is, the legendary Itachi Uchiha leader of the Uchiha clan, so it’s intimidating but he fits right in to their gossip/your child is adorable but mine is better circle* Shows her pictures of sasuke as lessons on fashion donts.
(I’m so sorry, this is a no uchiha massacre au but I made an au that when Sarada was 4 or 5 Sasuke Sakura and Naruto where defending the village and Sakura and Sasuke where killed, Naruto then left the village and became a roaming ninja like jiraiya , Itachi is a legendary anbu and takes in Sarada. Again I’m sorry I’m so so sorry) [this is basically instant sad for a good 6 paragraphs]
It was midnight and a storm was raging above konoha, Itachi was protecting the village from debris while other ninja where evacuating the city. He stopped to look at the second Sanin fighting only a mile away, he could see Kuruma with Sasuke’s Susanoo armor and Sakuras Hundred Healings Mark. No one could help them they would just get in the way not even him or their sensei Kakashi could lend a hand.
Suddenly a blinding flash of light illuminated the sky and parted the clouds, the light lasted minutes when it faded a massive crater was all that was left, whoever they where fighting was gone as well. “Sasuke!” Itachi made his way as fast as he could towards the hole, he noticed Kakashi, still in his Hokage garb running close behind him. When they arrived there wasn’t much to see, save nine small glowing tails covering something in the distance. Naruto had been saved by karuma but just barely he looked like he should be dead. Beside him where his two teammates, they weren’t breathing. Itachi collapsed to his knees utilizing his little healing jutsu training as best he could. Naruto was being stabilized by karuma, Kakashi out his hand on it’s his shoulder. “He’s gone Itachi.” Itachi slapped his hand away he didn’t say anything and continued to cry trying to heal his little brother. Soon other medics arrive and take way Naruto, Kakashi is pulled away from the scene. Sakura and Sasuke died holding each other’s hand protecting the village and their families.
(God I’m so sorry I got really dark I’m so sorry, this is less but still dark I’m sorry)
Only two hours later the quickly did Sasuke’s funeral ceremony sealing away his eyes and making sure he was safe from grave robbers. Because of Itachis, Kakashi’s and Naruto’s insistence they burry him next to Sakura on the uchiha cemetery.
4 hours later the citizens where returning to their homes and Itachi forced himself to do something he very much didn’t want to, during the battle Hinata had looked after Sarada and her own children. Itachi knocked on the Uzumaki house hold.“Just a moment!” Hinata said softly through the door. She opened it expecting to see Naruto or Sakura. Itachi informed Hinata of the situation and how Naruto was recovering. “I’m terribly sorry… and Sarada… she’s sitting on the couch I believe. If you need anything you are always welcome to come to us.”
“Thank you Hinata.” He bowed slightly. The conversation was awkward and forced, the head of the Uchiha and he head of the Hyuga normally didn’t do favors for each other but this would be the exception. Itachi slowly made his way into their home dreading having to explain everything again and to his niece no less. She was sitting on one end of the couch looking over a sleeping Himawari, Boruto was on the other side doing the same.
1 hour later Itachi and Sarada hadn’t spoken much, Itachi didn’t know what to say and Sarada just assumed they where waiting for her parents. She was sitting in his kitchen while he made something to eat still avoiding the inevitable. “Where’s mama and papa?” She said out of the blue, this made Itachi drop his ladle.
“They… are… far away, you will be staying with me instead, ok?” He was happy with how well he concealed his pain in his voice but he wouldn’t be able to say that too her face.
“Oh… when are they coming back?” Itachi realized he didn’t have a choice but to explain more and turned around.“Well Sarada, they won’t be coming back, their gone.” He definitely looked sad but tried to sound ok. After a long pause he said. “But don’t worry, you still have me ok?” She seemed to ponder that for a while.“Ok uncle Itachi. Can I help you cook?” He smiled she didn’t understand yet but it’s probably better that way. He nodded and picked her up. “So what should we put in next? How about apples” he did his best to match her high spirits.“Apples don’t go in ramen !” She started giggling.
After cooking and eating dinner Itachi put her in one of the guest rooms, he had Shisui get all of her clothes and her bed and move it in. He was jokingly grumpy about it but knew it wasn’t the time or place to complain. Itachi sat next to her bed for maybe an hour as she asked him and shisui questions about being a ninja. When he thought she was asleep he turned off the light and quietly walked out of the room.“I love you uncle Itachi.” She said half asleep. “Good night Sarada, sleep well.” He whispered, she was already asleep.btw I kind of want to write more about this would you be interested in that?
