Look at me, listen to me: A couple of months is way too early to think a fic is abandoned or dead. A year is often too early. Internalize this.

kind of wild how much fiction still treats torture as something that objectively works when every study has shown that it does not work at all and is possibly the least effective way to get correct information

Since I get way too distracted by music with any kind of lyrics I usually put some lyrics-less soundtrack while I read, usually videogame soundtrack (for example, I have almost 3 hours of Pokémon Emerald complete soundtrack), especially since my mind tends to wander a lot if there's silence and I woudn't be able to concentrate at all on what I'm reading otherwise

💡 Tell me a headcanon (and who you wish would write it)?

My second favorite headcanon is one I've actually seen quite a lot around the fandom, which is about Hashirama not having really died but turned into a tree because of the Mokuton and that Yamato might, one day, experience the same fate, and also that the Hashirama-tree is somewhere in the Forest of Death but no one knows about it (which actually ties back to one of my many WIPs but we're not here to talk about that)

And as before, I don't really have a preference on who I wish would write about it

My favorite headcanon will forever be Shisui and Obito being brothers but I don't have any particular writer in mind who I wish would write it, I just hope more people in general wrote about this hc

It has to be reverse by blackkat, the start of my obsession for time travel fics, 79 beautiful chapters read in two and a half days straight, I barely slept at night because I couldn't put the fic down

Yes omg, there's lots of fics that make me laugh so much that my stomach hurts and I have tears in my eyes, sometimes I need them between one angst fic and the other

Yes and no, as in there have been fics that I've loved so much that I've been sad when they finished because the story was finished, but usually what I read has a good ending so it never leaves me sad sad, you know?

I don't think I have a true NoTP. There are some pairings I don't enjoy, but I don't actively hate them, you know? Like, I wouldn't read a fic centric on them but if they were in the background of a main pairing that I like their presence wouldn't make me leave the story

💏 Who is your OTP?

Oh that's easy, if it's about the Narutoverse then MadaObi, KisaObi and KakaObi in equal misures (I do love Obito ships more than anything, sorry to my precious baby Shisui) and then Kurenai/Anko right under them in second place

As much as I don't particularly enjoy canon Sakura, I do wish people wrote more about her being left behind basically all the time (because no matter how much people love her, she can't keep up with Naruto and Sasuke when Kishi has basically made them half-gods by the end of the series) and all that comes from that (as someone who used to cause trouble because I wanted people to remember about me, I know what it feels like to be forgotten)

Also I wish people wrote more about Sasuke never truly forgiving Itachi, because while I do love Itachi as a character he's far from a saint or a hero and people need to stop putting him on a pedestal and give Sasuke the anger he deserves

👿 What trope do you hate / avoid at all costs?

There aren't many tags I avoid at all costs, probably only scat and necrophilia? For every other tag it depends on the context of the fic, if it's well written I can read almost anything ngl

😍 What is your favourite fic trope?

Time travel fix-it is, by far, my absolute favorite trope to read about

Also the soulmates trope but only if it's not forced (example, "We have the same soulmark so we HAVE to be together no matter that we've only met 0.3 seconds ago" gets old fast for me, but a NaruSasu or SatoSugu kinda thing like, "you're my soulmate, my one and only, we've chosen each other against all odds and we will find each other again and again in every universe and every life" will never get old for me and it's my life and blood, no matter if it's platonic or romantic)

Another one yet that I love is enemies as lovers, as in "We're enemies but we fuck and I want no one else to kill you except for me but I WILL kill you if the situation calls for it" which is rare as a trope for me to find, since usually people write enemies TO lovers instead of enemies AS lovers, which is mostly how I imagine Ao/Shisui in my head ngl
