My first sheith fic/series is complete! It's a miniseries consisting of three fics surrounding the birth of Shiro and Keith's daughter [and son but there's some angst there]

Are my sheith lovers interested in me posting it here? It's cery heavy on angst: birth complications, character death, still birth but I'm proud of how it's come together-please vote to let me know if you're interested!

I will also have other sheith fics up in the future-I'm just super proud of myself for actually completing something and I'd like for people to enjoy it too!

I think Shiro couldn’t look Keith in the eye for the while after the clone fight, even though He knows that it wasn’t him and it wasn’t his fault, but he still blames himself for the scar on his little brothers face and all the hurtful words the clone said.

I think he lies awake at night, replaying the fight over and over again in his mind, wondering if Keith feared him as much as he feared himself. I think he’d dream of his brother’s blood on his hands and the feeling of falling.

When his eyes reached Keith's chest, he stepped in again to adjust a couple of buckles at his shoulder. Keith's chest burned hotter as Shirogane's voice caressed his ear. "You are now part of the Eight, which earns you the right to call me by my preferred name when we are in private situations."

Keith and Shiro’s PLATONIC relationship holds a very special place in my heart and at this point Klance is my freakin’ personality. So watching Keith being forced to pick between the lives of the two people he loves the most pulls at my heart strings in the most painful yet satisfying way- idk it’s weird BUT this piece is just pure art, hence why I recommend it.

Keith says it, and yet Shiro is afraid.

The last thing he wants to do is hurt him. It's been on Shiro's mind for ages— fear that one day he'll snap, one day he'll lose himself, one day he'll go too far and do something to Keith that he can't take back. All this is is touch, though— Shiro affords pressing his flesh hand to the side of Keith's face, over his scar, tracing the very place that he, himself, hurt him. He knows it's his responsibility alone— he knows it's his fault that scar is there.

Neither of them have talked about it and it's likely that neither of them will. But they don't need to, do they, when Shiro's apologizing for it with such intimacy, as if it will atone him to stroke him so? Keith's scar is rough and jagged and mean looking, cut into his skin like an angry reminder that Shiro had only months before threatened his life— not Shiro, he reminds himself, Kuron, the name springs to his mind, and Shiro still— he feels guilt. Sadness. Shiro's hand trembles slightly, hesitantly.

He folds a lock of Keith's hair behind his ear. It's a worthy distraction from the minute's tension.

"Thank you for giving me permission to," Shiro murmurs, automatically.

But all actions have consequences.

Lance is captured and now the fate that awaits him is as a test subject as Lotor seeks to unravel all of the legends, the mysteries and the magic of the Mers. His only hope is an escape alongside Shiro and Keith. But the clock is ticking as Lotor’s experiments and methods grow more cruel, more violent, and if they don’t escape soon… the only freedom any of them will find will be in death.

The Whole Ship's Sleeping

“No. Please, no. Please, take me instead. Please,” he begs, cheeks glistening with tears. This isn’t a restful sleep. Gently, I touch Shiro's shoulder to wake him up from whatever horror plagues his mind when he shoots up, eyes wide and trained on me.

The soldier in him only takes a beat to assess the situation and recognize he isn’t in immediate danger, and a bit of tension leaches from his frame.

“Keith. I was dreaming,” he says, a little muddled.

“Yes. It wasn’t real, captain.”

Pain ripples across Shiro’s face.

“You should sleep in your bed, captain. The sofa will ruin your back. Good night.”
