But also Erica Sinclair aka The President.

Plucking a fruit from a tree that you've planted and eating it right then and there shouldn't feel so amazingly joyous. We're so disconnected from what we were originally put on this planet for that even something that basic and that should happen every single day of our lives gives us an intense rush of serotonin.

Book Jackson/Holt lore is so interesting cause of the number of details brought up about their appearance and their livelihood as a whole. It feels very rounded in a sense due to how integrated they are into the story. I LOVE DETAILS

Details/Descriptions I think should be discussed more:

Both live with their mother in a cute white cottage, which has yellow roses in the front and generally a cheery exterior. However, the inside of the house is decorated with "dusty velvet couches, dark oriental rugs, and cluttered corners filled with knickknacks that could have arrived via time machine from Old World London" (pg. 181, Book 1). Also, described as "the dark funeral-parlor-style furniture"

Their mom is a science teacher at Merston High, though previously was a genetic research scientist. She wears "Woody Allen glasses, a sharp black bob, red lipstick, and a collection of pencil skirts and blouses in varying shades of black." (pg. 127, Book 1. ) Her personality is somewhat strict, but caring. She found out that overheating causes Jackson to transform, which was why she never let him play sports. She regards them as both of her sons and loves both.

Jackson's love for art is genuinely so cute and it's evident that he's very passionate about it. His fingers are occasionally stained with pastels and he just likes creating things in general, which is neat.

The fact that Jackson made ceramic flowers for a girl he liked is very wholesome, and then smashing it in the school parking lot cause she kissed a guy right in front of him is so real

DJ knows more about Jekyll and Hyde than Jackson cause he actually looked into his family's history.

DJ calling Frankie "Firecracker" cause she sparks a lot.

In this version, their dad was the one with the Jekyll/Hyde trait instead of their mom.

Jackson wears a vintage Rolex in the fourth book (pg.81) that was his Dad's

For appearances, Jackson has brown hair, thick black glasses, and hazel eyes. Later on in Book 2, DJ gains his own appearance, that being blonde and blue-eyed (I got that from the MH wiki page so I can't really confirm).

Small details like these are very cool and they make the characters feel more realistic!

hey aimsey i realize your lore is done and no vol2 and such but i just wanted to say thank you for the story you did tell. i was so grateful to see more of bearsmp, i loved the love your character had for others, i loved the themes of forgiveness and moving forward and grief, i love the way you told a story so much. I love the themes of being haunted (by ghosts, by memories, by the past, by guilt). c!Aimsey the world :,) hope youre doing well!

c!aimsey is so tragically yet so beautifully human. even though they have been haunted their entire life, they never fed into the cycle of violence, because despite everything she wanted to live. through heart break, abandonment, grief and even death she remained true to her intentions which is something i’ll always love about the character itself. to have someone with the ability to portray grief so honestly was such a big thing i wanted to ensure i did based on the fact it’s one of the things i never see usually in media and i wanted a way for people to see the way c!aimsey grieves and notice that it is okay. it can take weeks, months, years and you can think you’re over it but have a day where you just can’t stop crying over what you once had - and that’s okay. c!aimsey belongs to you. you are her, as much as she is you. you love her, just as much as she loves you. despite everything, she tries and you can too.

I can't claim credit for the idea - Imogen and Laudna corruption arc has floated around for a while - but honestly I'm not sure why this is coming up as some kinda gotcha for me? I'd fucking love that honestly. It would completely validate my statement that they are insular and toxic and often acting against the interests of the rest of the party AND either it would end with interesting character growth or with them departing and being replaced by new characters. I'd be excited for either!

So the household got a slight age time jump and everyone's an adult-adult now (Flora lost a hand in the process). Since Lavina is coming with us, I made Rahul the new Mayor so Henford won't spiral into NPC madness.

Lavina has like 3 days left as an adult, so let's start mission nooboo before she becomes a wrinkly raisin :D

Okay so in My Little Pony: Friendship of Magic S3E13: A Magical Mystery Cure, the mane 6 besides twilight switch around their cutie marks and destinies and have funky memory loss because twilight read an old unfinished spell and stuff. but. but they do a little house switch too because we see rainbow dash in fluttershy's cottage and twilight's like "but rarity said this was rainbow dash's cottage!" and then later apple jack is in rarity's boutique and pinkie's at sweet apple acres and the like but RARITY. Rarity got rainbow dash's destiny so she should have also gotten rainbow dash's house? rainbow dash's house which is in CLOUDSDALE?? You know, the big fluffy cloud city in the sky?? that is where rarity, the non-wings-possessing unicorn, resides,, so. unless she pulled an S1E16: Sonic Rainboom again and got magical butterfly wings, I am starting to doubt the realism of the magical talking pony show for kids from the year 2010

thinking about remus being a dadda's boy when he was little but as he grew up he realized how lyall was drifting away bc of the guilt he felt whenever he looked at remus so remus became a mamma's boy in his teenage years

i do love canon amy & rory but god, does some part of me wish they really had gone with the idea of the doctor picking up a child as a companion (and then later, that child’s best friend with a huge crush on her.) with the rest of the season really not changing at all, except now it’s amelia pond with an angel in her head killing her and lost alone in the woods. it’s little rory who dies and is forgotten and becomes a toy soldier. if this is going to be a fairy tale, then let it be one. children have never been safe in fairy tales.
