Gangster Au Shallura Summary: Allura always knew exactly what to say to bring him back. Slight angst, fluff. Note: This is for my girl @mitzoco who passed her exam to get her nursing license! I am so proud of you! Since you loved A Gangster’s Wife so much, I decided to write another chapter for you as a reward. Ao3

Keith flinched at the sound of glass shattering as it collided against the wall. Ever since they discovered that a mole had infiltrated their tight circle, Shiro had been on a rampage. He swept the city, searching through every warehouse, every hideout, every cafe, and every club questioning owners and workers alike. It didn’t take long to pinpoint exactly who had been foolish enough to betray his trust. The situation was quickly handled, the body was properly disposed of, and the only thing that was left to do was to tie up loose ends to make sure something like this never happened again. However, after witnessing Shiro’s wrath first hand, Keith was sure no one would even dare to consider the thought.

Even after everything was set and done, Shiro was still seething. He paced his office and anything he came into contact with was confronted with his rage. Keith had never seen him like this before. Usually, he was the one to lose his temper and Shiro was the one to keep his cool and guided him to do the same. Now the roles were reversed and nothing Keith did was enough to calm the leader who he saw as a brother.

Another whiskey glass met an untimely fate with the wall and it was followed by a long string of hostile words Keith couldn’t comprehend. He told himself that he would teach himself Japanese long ago, but now that he saw his brother in this state, he’d rather not understand what the older man was saying.

Keith slouched in his chair before he folded his arms over his chest and resisted the urge to yawn and stretch out his stiff limbs. It was late. Maybe half past midnight and they had a long, stressful day. He was usually a night owl, but the day had been taxing and it took its toll on him. But none of that seemed to have any sort of effect on Shiro. The man was wired, heated, and stressed beyond the point of no return. There was no way in hell that the man was going to calm himself down enough to take a breather and by the state of his usually organized office, he probably wasn’t going to bed anytime soon, either.

Shiro continued to pace his office as he talked on the phone of one of his trusted men. He needed to make sure that whatever the mole had leaked would not affect future plans or put anybody under his watch in danger.

Shiro took the greatest pride in his role as a leader of a gang who was notorious for all the morally right reasons. His turf was his home. It held his family; those who weren’t related by blood that helped raised him since he was a young boy who lived in the streets. From the bakery on 5th street, who fed him daily to the police station on Myrna Ave who let him go with warning after warning but never let him go without a lengthy lecture. In a way, they saved him.

And he was going to return the favor.

He grew up here. He made a life here. He learned to protect it with his bare hands, both metal, and flesh, here. He would do anything to make sure its residents were safe from harm from outsiders who wanted to run this city into the ground. He would guard his city until he was no longer physically capable to do so.

Today, a mole had managed to get past his defenses. He took it hard and it showed to the point where the entire city knew it. He needed to make sure that it would never happen again.

Shards of glass cracked under his feet with each step as he made his way to the window to continue his heated conversation. “I don’t care that you just got them this morning. Throw them all out, Gaizan! What…” he paused to give the man a chance to speak, but when he didn’t hear what he wanted to, the flame once again returned to a raging fire. “Will you fucking listen to me? I don’t give a shit if he gives you half off on Sundays. We can no longer trust that supplier. Cut all ties with him, now.”

Keith rubbed his temples when he heard the man on the other line continue to argue with his boss. It was going to be a long night. Behind him, he heard the door creak open and he rolled his eyes. Whoever it was, he felt sorry for them because they didn’t deserve whatever heat Shiro was going to give them.

His body jerked tensely but immediately relax when he felt soft arms wrap around his shoulders from behind. Long, silver curls tumbled over his shoulders and he let his head fall back to look at his savior. “Oh thank God you’re here,” he said relieved after she kissed him the cheek as a sweet greeting.

Allura laughed lightly at his response. “Is it that bad?”

Keith nodded tiredly. “I’ve never seen him this riled up before. And I thought I was bad.”

She ruffled his hair. “Oh, but you definitely are, Kogane,” she said playfully in return.

She unwrapped her arms from him and stood before she walked around him so she could set a hefty tote bag on the mahogany desk. “Have either of you eaten?” she asked as she unpacked the containers full of hot food.

At the sound of her voice, Shiro finally turned away from the window. His body was still tense - balled fist, heavy breathing, and flared nostrils, but his eyes softened significantly at the sight of her. His eyes went from her to the food on the desk and he raised a thick, dark brow in question. The look didn’t last long before it was replaced with anger and he was back to talking to Gaizen. He turned his back to Allura and Keith and continued to explain what their next move was.

“I ate about two hours ago, but he hasn’t eaten anything since this morning when we found that bug on one of the landlines,” Keith explained through a long yawn.

She nodded in understanding as she unpacked two matching mugs - one of their many wedding gifts, and a flower printed thermos. “Careful with those, you don’t want it to end up like the rest.” Keith gestured towards the whiskey-stained wall with glass shards at its base. They were going to get drunk ants if someone didn’t clean that up soon.

Allura seemed unphased at the sight and she continued to set up the rest of the containers around the desk in a neat and organized fashion. Shiro watched her out of the corner of his eye and his tone was losing some of the animosity it carried like a grudge all day. “Keith, will you be joining us for dinner?” she asked him casually over Shiro’s voice.

He shook his head. “No, I don’t think I can. It’s too late for me to eat, ‘Lu,” he said with a stretch and another yawn escaped his lips.

She watched his tired form. “I already prepared one of the guest rooms upstairs for you. Go to bed, Keith. I can take over from here.”

He frowned as he watched Shiro’s tense shoulders. “You sure?” He didn’t fear for Allura’s safety because Shiro would never dream of harming her, but he didn’t want to come back later to have to deal with two stressed out individuals on his hands. Shiro was stubborn when he wanted to be, but he was no match for the hellfire that was Allura.

She sent him a dazzling smile followed by a sly wink. “Of course.” She grabbed his wrists and pulled him to his feet. “You’ve done more than enough, Keith.” She gave him a hug goodnight and he returned it the best he could in his tired state before he left the room.

When Allura finished setting up her desk picnic, she took a step back to admire her handiwork. Now that dinner was ready, it was time to wrangle in the cowboy. She approached him wordlessly before she stuck her hand out and gestured for his phone. Shiro’s jaw clenched as he eyed her through steel eyes.

Through the phone line, she heard Gaizan’s muted voice call out her husband’s name and before Shiro could respond, Allura took the phone away from him. His grip on the phone lasted only a fraction of a second before he gave up the device to her. He never denied her anything and he wasn’t about to start now. No matter how stressed he was.

She smiled at him before she spoke into the phone. “Good evening, Gaizan.” Shiro rolled his eyes at the man’s immediate change in tone. Just like himself, Gainzan’s voice lost its hostility the second he heard the woman speak. “I’m well and yourself?... That’s wonderful to hear! How are those granddaughters of yours doing?”

She always knew exactly what it took to steer the conversation until the ball was in her court and she played it to her advantage. She walked away from Shiro but didn’t get far before he gently pulled her by the waist to steer her clear of the broken glass that covered a large portion of the wooden floors. She frowned at the scene when she recognized her favorite champagne flute was now in hundreds of pieces but mouthed her gratitude as she listened to the man speak intensely about his grandkids on the other line.

Shiro pulled at her away from the shattered glasses until he backed her into his desk. He buried his face into the crook of her neck so he could inhale the scent of her shampoo.

God, he didn’t realize how much he missed her until she was here.

Mindful of the food Allura had already set up, he then wrapped an arm around the small of her back and the other around the underside of one of her thighs before he lifted her so he could sit her on his desk. At the new angle, he took a moment to look her over. She had enough money to wear the finest silks to bed but she opted to wear an oversized, bleached stained NASA shirt she found at the thrift store for $3 and a pair of yoga pants she refused to do yoga in. Her hair was in a messy bun that sat atop her head but silver clumps of hair still managed to escape the hold and cascade down her back.

As she continued to chat with the man that he wanted to strangle just 3 minutes ago, he took the chance to take off her slippers so he could check for any glass shards that might have gotten lodged into the soles of the fuzzy, pink bunny slippers. When he cleared the slippers, he moved on to check her feet for tiny pieces of glass as well. He was still on the verge of unfiltered anger, but it didn’t stop him from playfully running a finger up the arch of her foot. She immediately jerked her feet away before she frantically swatted his hand away from the ticklish area.

A ghost of a smile appeared on his face but it wasn’t enough to take away the stress. He leaned back into his chair and stared at the ceiling. He sighed when he saw another whiskey stain on the ceiling. They were gonna get ceiling ants.

“Now now, Gaizan, you know that we need to take precautions for instances like this.” Her words suddenly caught his attention. It was rare that she handled this aspect of the life she married into. Shiro would rather that she stayed away from it just so he could have that extra layer of security between her and the profession he could never escape.

Allura must have seen the look in his eyes because she reached out to caress his face with a soft, delicate hand. Her hand moved from his cheek, up into his hair. He felt himself relax into her touch as she gently raked her perfectly manicured nails through his black hair. “Yes, I know. It’s unfortunate that this happened but you have to understand that we can no longer trust this supplier because he was reported talking to the wrong people.” Her voice was soft and diplomatic but it held no room for argument. “You know we will make up for the lost wages, Gai. Besides, I may know someone who has a better deal. How about 40% off on – let me finish. I let you talk, now you are going to do the same. How about 40% off on Sundays and Thursdays?”

Shiro snorted. Sundays and Thursdays? That sounded like a good bargain. But only 40%? Impossible. There was no way Gaizan would take a deal like that. He had been trying to convince that old cheapskate to get a new supplier for years. There was no way in hell, not now, not ever that the man would ever even consider agreeing to such a ridiculous ide–

“Perfect! I say we have a deal,” she said as she threw a wink towards Shiro.

Son of a bitch.

Shiro groaned and laid his head in Allura’s lap and she patted him on the back. Maybe as a way to console him or maybe she was just rubbing his face in the fact that she was better at negotiations than he was.

“Alright, Shiro will come by tomorrow to go over the details with you. And tell your wife that I am looking forward to coffee on Wednesday.” She paused for a moment before her eyes lit up. “Of course, I can bring you those scones! Just let me know what kind you want by Tuesday and I’ll make it happen. Alright, you have a good night, Gai.”

She ended the call with the stubborn man she suddenly had wrapped around her pretty little finger and placed the phone into one of the drawers. “You’re amazing, you know that?” Shiro mumbled into her lap. He wrapped an arm around her middle to bring her closer to the edge of the desk and closer to him.

She laughed and continued to run her fingers through his hair. “I’m fully aware, there’s no need to tell me,” she teased with a smirk. After a moment, she lightly pushed him away so she could open the containers of food and Shiro immediately recognized the smell from his favorite Thai restaurant just a few blocks away.

He checked the clock on his desk. “Pheung’s is still open this late?” he asked as she laid out the food.

She shook her head. “No, but like the rest of the city, she heard what happened today and she just knew that my idiot of a husband was giving himself a hard time about it. She came by about two hours ago to drop it off.” She opened two pairs of chopsticks and set them each in a different bowl. “I figured that I’d give you some time to cool off before I brought it in but since that never happened...” She left the rest of her sentence unsaid with narrowed eyes. She then poured him some tea from the thermos and handed him a mug before she poured herself a cup.

Shiro took the tea gratefully and he closed his eyes in satisfaction at the smell of the bittersweet liquid. Before he met Allura, he was not a tea drinker. But she had convinced him to give it a try and through trial and error of the all the different flavors the beverage had to offer, he finally found his favorite and hasn’t let it go since. He wanted so badly for the tea combined with her presence to be enough to calm him down, and yes, to a certain extent, it was, but he still found his shoulders stiff and his breathing slightly stifled.

He took a tentative sip to make sure the temperature wouldn’t scald him. “I’m sorry, Allura,” he apologized after a deep breath. “I just–“

She shook her head. “Let's eat first, then we can talk about what happened today.” It was a command that she had wrapped up to look like a suggestion.

“To be honest with you, I don’t have much of an appetite,” he confessed as he eyed the food she had.

She watched him silently for a moment before she sighed and broke the chopsticks. She brought her chicken pad thai up to rest on her thighs and she picked up a piece and brought it to his lips.

He raised a brow. “You can’t be serious.”

“Try me, Shirogane,” she challenged.

He rolled his eyes before he opened his mouth to take the offered food. He hummed in content when the savory food made contact with his taste buds. It was better than he previously remembered.

Allura almost laughed at his reaction. “Pheung told me to tell you that she made your favorite dish with love, today.” She picked up another piece of chicken and popped it into her mouth. “That woman is an amazing cook. She told me that she was going to teach me how to make gaeng daen so I, ‘could make my husband happy.” She laughed to herself when she finished the quote.

Shiro joined her in laughter. “You already make me the happiest man alive,” he said before he childishly opened his mouth welcoming another piece from her. He could already feel his anger dwindling down. Since the moment he laid eyes on her, she always had that effect on him. When he was lost, even to himself, she always managed to find him and bring him back.

She wiped his mouth with a napkin. “Apparently you could be happier with red curry.”

Shiro grinned. That old woman never could hold her tongue. Whatever was on her mind, she made it known. He took the chopsticks from her so he could feed himself. “By the way, how is she? Was she walking okay?”

Allura crossed her legs and brought the cup of hot tea to her lips. “She still had a limp, but she’s looking a lot better than she was last week after her fall,” she informed him.

Shiro nodded, processing the information. “Do you think she’s taking her medication?”

“I’m unsure actually,” she said. “I’ll make sure to send Hunk over to spy her.” The sunshine boy was her favorite and she always made sure to let everyone know so they could be rightfully jealous.

Shiro’s jaw clenched. That’s what the rival gang, Sincline, did to him; sent a spy. He should have caught it earlier. He shouldn’t have trusted the man so easily and like a fool, just as they had predicted, he fed right into his enemy’s lies. His hands started to shake at the thought of his stupid mistakes.

Once again, through the darkness and through the clouds of self-doubt, Allura hands reached out to ground him once again. Her fingers danced over his skin as she caressed his cheeks before they wandered to his scar to lightly trace it. Besides his kind eyes, it was her favorite part of him. “Deep breaths, Takashi,” she said suddenly and he followed her command without question. Inhale through the nose, exhale through the mouth.

The anger he had for himself was no match for the love he had for her. But the overwhelming sense of guilt was a strong contender and threatened to consume him whole. “Takashi.” Why did she sound so far away?

“Look at me.”

He couldn't.

She brought her hands under his chin and forced him to meet her gaze. She brushed the white strands of hair out of his eyes. “What happened today wasn’t your fault,” she told him carefully.

He suddenly pulled away from her. “I’m the leader, of course, it’s my fault,” he argued, careful not to raise his voice. No matter how angry he was, he would never even dream about taking that frustration out on her.

“But you caught it before he was able to do anything.”

He stood up quickly, the action caused the desk chair to fly back and slam against bookshelf behind him. Before he could stop himself, he was pacing the floor again. The glass under his feet crunched with each step. She was too forgiving. She should hate him. Everyone should hate him.

“Allura, that’s not the point!” he almost shouted. “The point is that it happened! It happened when it shouldn’t have! I let him into the gang. I trusted him! I told him plans that I hadn’t even told Keith and that...that fucking snake was working for the other side this whole time! No wonder they took over one of the warehouses.

“Allura…,” He paused in his pacing to face her and it's a look she never saw in him before. His eyes were raging and his fists were balled at his sides. “Allura, I let that man drive you home.” His voice was dangerously low. Allura knew that if he could, he would kill that man all over again. “H-he, Allura he could have…”

“But he didn’t,” she interjected. “I’m here. Everyone is here. The only one who paid for his actions was him, Takashi.” She moved to leap off the desk so she could approach him but Shiro was quick to keep her from getting down barefooted by blocking her in.

Her hands cupped his cheeks to him his eyes on her. “Listen to me. You are a great leader, Takashi. You would gladly lay down your life for anyone in this city and they all know it. Mistakes happen, and they are going to happen again. But that’s what it takes to be a great leader. You fall, you learn, and you get back up.”

He searched her eyes and at that moment, he knew she was telling him nothing but the truth. If it was even possible, he found himself falling more in love with her. He bent down slightly and pressed his lips against hers. She was his favorite flavor and his most dangerous addiction. She always knew exactly what to say to bring him back.

He wrapped his arms around her small frame and kissed the top of her head. “I love you so fucking much,” he said. “You know that?”

She giggled and she returned his embrace. “Of course I do, but I love to hear you say it,” she said as she kissed the underside of his jaw. “Over and over again.”

“I’ll tell you as many times as I can for the rest of my life if that’s what it takes to satisfy you.”

Shiro’s eyes widened when she suddenly squeezed his backside through his pants. “I know what else will satisfy me,” she purred deviously.

Shiro chuckled before he reached to the side of him to bring out the phone she had hidden away in the drawer. “Just let me make few calls and then I’ll satisfy everything you need.”

She frowned and reached out to take the phone away. “It’s almost 1 in the morning!” she scolded. “Let people do what you should be doing; sleeping.”

“But, Allura,” he countered. He thought he sounded manly but he’s more than positive that it came out as a whine.

“Takashi.” Her tone told him that the conversation was over. When she caught the look on his face, she let her fingers walk up his chest and her voice took on a sultry whisper. “Relax. Things can be worked out in the morning. For now,” she paused as she kissed the corner of his lips and traced his jawline in the way she knew drove him mad. “Come to bed.”

She knew is ultimate weakness and she was never afraid to fight dirty. “Fine, but don’t blame me if everyone sleeps in tomorrow.”

“We’ll cross that bridge when we get to it,” she replied with a wink before she let him go and started to pack up their late dinner. He downed the rest of his tea as well as the rest of hers before he helped pack up rest of the food and organized it back into the bag she brought it in with.

“I think that’s everything,” he said and swung the bag over his forearm. He bent down slightly to pick Allura up and drape her over his shoulder and the surprised squeak she made brought a smile to his face.

“I can walk you know?” she said from her upside down position over his shoulder.

“Yeah, I know, you don’t need to tell me, Princess,” he responded with a boyish grin and he resettled his grip on the back of her thighs. He walked towards and out the door before he paused. “Get the light, will ya?” And he heard random slapping against the wall until he heard her hand make contact with the light switch.

As soon as he entered the foyer, other members of his crew stood up to greet him and he settled them down with a look. “You guys head to bed. You can crash here if you want. Tomorrow, we’re having a meeting at 7:30, sharp.” A cough from Allura made him roll his eyes. “Fine, 8:30.” He handed Rylo the bag and instructed him to put it in the fridge before he ascended the stairs.

Behind him, Allura wished Shiro’s crew goodnight before she grabbed a handful of his backside to show them who the real boss was. “You’re totally going to pay for that, Princess,” she heard him grumble.

“Can’t wait,” she said with a giggle.

Voltron NextGen Multi-Reality AU Basics (S8 UPDATE)

Voltron NextGen Multi-Reality AU

SPOILER WARNING FOR S8

Or just Multi AU for short. As a multishipper I’ve suffered with all my ships and NextGen ideas for a long time now, until I came to the conclusion: Why make an AU for every single ship when I can make 1 BIG AU for all of them? I mean with Alternative Realities being a thing it’s basically a free-for-all!

That’s how I came up with the Multi-Reality NextGen AU, honestly I’m only calling it an „AU” as a formality…

Basically, every ship is canon. EVERY SHIP. I may personally not like a couple of ships but that doesn’t mean I don’t want others to have fun. So yeah, fight me.

And of course with this being an inter-reality AU the crossovers are endless… honestly come to think of it, this whole AU is pure self-indulgence, nothing else.

I just enjoy designing NextGen children for my ships with some very little story ideas here and there and some crossovers. That’s all this is.

But since I’m putting this out there in the void I might as well write up some basics to make it easy.

Also this is probably obvious, this being a NextGen, but there’s a general warning for MPreg for the whole thing.

As for all Realities:

- I headcanon Galras to have both set of reproductive organs, so all females and males can impregnante and become pregnant all the same, though the dominance of each organ can change in cycles.

- Also miss me with that „Allura is a teenager” bullshit, I headcanon her to be around 23 years in human terms in S1.

- I also headcanon Pidge to be a Trans Girl.

- Also you can pry Half-Korean Keith from my cold dead hands.

- Also also I headcanon Keith and Axca to be siblings, so unless I state otherwise just assume they’re are siblings.

- Depending on Reality Adam is alive. Also miss me with Adam dying in the Canon Reality too, my guy just lost a leg and was saved by the resistence and was chilling in the desert the whole time, okay?

- Krolivan is totally a thing in all my realities.

Most of the AU focuses on a couple of ships of my liking and their children, those being:

Klance Reality:

Everything happens mostly according to canon, up until about S6. The key differences being:

- Thace is Keith’s Uncle, being Krolia’s brother, he also survives in this AU.

- The Castle doesn’t get destroyed.

- The 3 years gap still happen.

- On their way home they find a Shiro clone who managed to stay alive but never found his way back to Voltron, Shiro has a twin now (they decide to call him Ryou because I’m creative like that).

- Shiro gets an Altean like arm.

- Adam doesn’t die.

- They go back to Earth and save it from Sendak, but Earth doesn’t become the center of the Voltron Coalition.

- Allura doesn’t die.

- Allurance happens at first but later they realise it’s not working, so they split sometime after S8.

- Adashi, Thoran and Hunay happen.

- No Altean Lance at all.

- No Curto either.

- Altea and Daibazaal aren’t reborn.

- The Lions don’t leave.

More stuff to know about the Klance Reality:

- They eventually switch back the Lions with Allura going back to pilot the Castle and Ryou going to pilot Blue.

- Allura will eventually become Queen Allura, and they’ll reform the Coalition with a more Altean center.

- The Empire will be completley wiped out and they’ll work on clearing the universe from rogue warlords and pirate captains. Also re-habiliting and re-integrating galras into the universe.

- Keith will have a more Galra like appearance after their third kid, because he got infected with a bio-chemical weapon virus and part of the procedure to save him was to amplify his Galra genes.

- Rosalie „Rosa” and Thace „Ace” McClain-Kogane:

30 years old, the oldest of the children, twins, with Rosa being older out of the two of them. Rosa is named after Lance’s Mom, Ace is named after Thace, Keith’s Uncle. Rosa is a Field Commander and later she’ll become the Red Paladin. Ace is the Royal Commander and later the Black Paladin.

- Amelia „Amy” McClain-Kogane:

26 years old, smaller and sickly due to Keith’s sickness during the pregnancy. The future pilot/Captain of the Castle, she will pilot it with a pair of Altean gauntlets Allura made for her.

(She’s named after Amelia Earhart because I’m a history nerd.)

- Violet and Liliac McClain-Kogane:

21 years old, twins, with Violet being older. Both of them just freshly graduated, Violet is a diplomat, Liliac is a mechanic. Violet is the future Blue Paladin, Lilian is the future Green Paladin.

- Akira McClain-Kogane:

18 years old, going to graduate soon, possible future Black Paladin. He prefers to work with the Rebels, can’t quite find his place yet.

- Clarisse „Claire” McClaine-Kogane:

16 years old, the problem child of the family, possible future Red Paladin, nopes out to join the Blade of Marmora in secret.

- Charles „Chuck” McClaine-Kogane:

12 years old, youngest and last of the children, future Yellow Paladin, upcomming tech genius.

Sheith Reality:

This reality follows canon the most closely, but there’s almost a slight „underage” warning, „underage” being Keith is 17 at the start.

- Shiro and Keith kind of „got together” just before the Kerberos mission, a good while after Shiro and Adam broke up, it wasn’t exactly official, they were supposed to figure it out after Shiro came back.

- They had a one-night-stand before the Kerberos mission, Keith got pregnant, and since he wasn’t aware he’s half-galra, he was thought to be some kind of intersex.

- Adam helped Keith, and helped him keep it a secret, and even helped him after he got expelled.

- Adam was taking care of the kid when Shiro came back and they found the Blue Lion and kept taking care of her after their disappearance for 3 years until his „death.”

- Curtis takes care of Hoshi after Adam’s death mostly. (haha)

- Since Shiro didn’t bring up their Pre-Kerberos „relationship” neither did Keith, only until they were on their way back to Earth, that’s when he told him about the kid too.

- Earth’s becomes the Center of the Coalition.

- After the Universe is safe, Shiro and Keith „settle down” in the desert, Shiro keeps working as Admiral of the Garrison and Captain of the Atlas, Keith as Leader of Voltron keeping the universe safe.

- Shiro had a twin brother called Ryou in this Reality but he also had Shiro’s disease and he already died from it.

- Allura doesn’t die.

- Altea and Daibazaal aren’t reborn.

- Punk and Allurance happen.

- Curto doesn’t happen.

- The Lions don’t leave.

- No Altean Lance at all.

Shiro and Keith will have 3 children:

- Hoshi Shirogane:

26 years old, mechanic and teacher at the Garrison, future Black Paladin.

11 years old, troublemaker with the face of an angel, she has very good strategic skills.

This reality is pretty close to the Klance Reality, since originally they were in the same reality but I changed it later.

- The 3 years gap still happen.

- They go back to Earth and save it from Sendak, but there’s no Atlas and Earth doesn’t become the center of the Voltron Coalition.

- They occasionally go back to Earth.

- They eventually switch back the Lions with Allura going back to pilot the Castle, Shiro going back to Black, Keith to Red and Lance to Blue.

- Allura doesn’t die.

- Altea and Daibazaal are still reborn.

- Allura will eventually become Queen Allura, (and King Shiro?) and they’ll reform the Coalition with New Altea at the center.

- Keith becomes the new Galra Emperor of Daibazaal.

Honestly this is just the Altean Empire Reality. Like I legit planned this to happen in the canon Altean Empire Reality but it can just as well be a variation of it. Everything is exactly the same except Sven and Slav having a daughter.

Sven and Slav will have 1 kid:

- Yume, 15 years old, member of the Guns of Gamara, her existence is considered an anomaly in all realities, this gives her a good amount of existential anxiety.

Loturra Reality:

This also mostly follows canon, just with Lotor Redemption.

- Lotor doesn’t kill Narti.

- Lotor also unlocks the secrets of Oriand.

- (Lotor doesn’t lie to the alteans on the Colony, they can volunteer for the Quintessence extraction „experiment”.) I don’t know what to do with this part yet, bear with me.

- Lotor DOES go kind of mad from the Quintessence exposure when they go in to the Quintessence Field with Allura.

- Lotor and his Generals form Sincline and fight Voltron, but Voltron saves them in the end and Allura cures Lotor.

- Sincline will fight beside Voltron.

- Lotor doesn’t die.

- The 3 years gap still happen.

- They still go back to Earth and save it from Sendak together.

- Shiro still becomes Captain of the Atlas.

- Allura doesn’t die (duh).

- Altea and Daibazaal aren’t reborn.

They’ll eventually unify the Galra Empire again this time on the right path and start to build New Altea with the Colony Alteans. Galrans and Altean unite on a new home.

- Empress Allura and Emperor Lotor.

- After Kolivan and Krolia retire, Keith becomes the new Leader of the Blade of Marmora together with Axca.

- Allura becomes the Black Paladin.

- I don’t know who’ll be the Blue Paladin yet.

- Curto doesn’t happen.

- The Lions don’t leave.

- Kaxca and Shlav happens.

- No Altean Lance at all.

Lotor and Allura will have 2 children:

Oh boy, here comes another hard one. This Reality is probably the most different of all and the least worked out. This is basically Sendak redemption with Sendak not being That Bad™.

- Sendak has a strong sense of honor.

- After Voltron defeats Sendak, Zarkon denounce him a disgrace and „exiles” him from the Empire.

- They eventually meet him again and he eventually joins them.

- At first Sendak works with the Rebels later he joins the Blade of Marmora.

- Allura doesn’t die.

- Allurance happens.

- Altean Lance happens.

- Altea and Daibazaal are still reborn.

- The Lions don’t leave.

Shiro and Sendak will have 2 children:

- Arashi and Urax

25 years old, twins, with Urax being older. Both of them are pretty problematic, but strong warriors.

Uliro Reality:

This Reality is pretty much the same as canon, just with Ulaz surviving. That’s pretty much all that changes really.

- Ulaz survives the fight with the robobeast, he gets trapped in the pocket-dimension and they later free him with the help of Slav in the 3 years gap.

- Ulaz will be amongst the surviving members of the Blade.

- He meets with Shiro again no Earth after they defeat Sendak.

- Probably Galtean Klance will happen at some point? I don’t have that many details on this reality yet.

Ulaz and Shiro will have 1 son.

Some other ships that don’t have their own reality but happen in already mentioned realities:

- Thoran happens in the Klance Reality.

- Hunay also happens in the Klance Reality, also the Shallura Reality:

Hunk and Shay will have 1 daughter, 14 years old, Koru.

- Punk happens in the Sheith Reality.

- Allurance also happens in the Sheith Reality and the Shendak Reality

Allura and Lance will have 2 children, a girl 19 years old, and a boy 14 years old. They boy will have alchemy abilities. They don’t have names yet sorry.

- Laxum happens in the Shallura Reality.

Lance and Plaxum will have 2 children, 23 years old, twins a boy and a girl, they’ll both be amphibious, able to change between mermaid and human form.

- Kaxca happens in the Loturra Reality.

Axca and Keith are not related at all, and they’ll have 2 kids, a girl 19 years old, member of the Blade of Marmora, and Yorak, 14 years old boy.

- Thalaz happens in the Shallura Reality.

- Shlav also happens in the Loturra Reality, they’ll have 1 daughter, 13 years old, (Yami) Yumi, she was genetically made by the Galra from Shiro and Slav’s DNA, to see what happens if they mix their strongest and smartest captive: the answer is anxiety and bad impulse control.

Yeah, all the „Castle doesn’t get Destroyed” will be just solved by Allura pulling some Mary Sue magic thing, she does that often enough in canon.

And the „Allura doesn’t die” is basically that, most of these will be wiped out for some time when Honerva destroys all realities except 1, so when canon Allura sacrifices herself to save all realities these AU realites just get restored and they just normally fight and defeat Honerva. (Tho this depends on reality since in some of them the story takes a whole different turn from her to begin with.)

I’ll also add to this file as I go along and figure things out, but I think this is it for now!

How did you discover the show?

I discovered it when it first came out thanks to a friend and a popular blogger I follow. When I saw that it was the same animators as atla I had to check it out (also got super obsessed with Shallura and Klance lol). Had no regrets !

Was it love at first sight or did it take you a while to get into the show?

Hooked right from the start. The voice actors and dialogue and cinematography just reeled me in.

How/Why did you join the fandom?

Once you go Black (paladin) you never go back. As an artist and a writer I had a duty to post my works, get involved in fan theories, BE AN ADMIN OF THREE AWESOME ZINES @shallurazine and @allurazine , join the LetsVoltron podcast in an episode, and yah,even cosplay and go to New York Comic Con to see the crew and voice actors :) Call me obsessed (although it’s toned down now).

Care to share your favorite headcanon?

Haggar was pregnant when Zarkon exposed them both to the high levels of quintessence. Lotor is born from quintessence.

Blaytz was gay and in love with the Galra servant. After the former died in the war, the galra servant - through his sorrow - founded the Blade of Marmora to get back at the empire (honestly one of my top favorites).

Krolia came to earth in the Blue Lion and was here for a lonnnng time before meeting Keith’s dad.

Kuron is not the real Shiro and Haggar is controlling him to get to her son, but he’s not bad either. Shiro is probably chilling in the astral plane.

Lotor didn’t get the love he deserved from his parents.

Allura will eventually get her own white lion and become the white paladin (’cause she da bomb).

The space lions each have a respective voice based on their personality (aka Black’s is Cate Blanchett, Red’s is Lucy Lui etc. lol).

What do you think is the best part of the show?

The characters and the conflicts aren’t all black and white, they are complex, and there’s a lot of diversity. Plus the world building with different planets and aliens, along with the cinematography and suspense, is so cool (sorry Jenna I took your answer here lol). Lotor is actually an interesting villain and you never know what’s going to happen next. You can see all the love that was put into this show and I can’t say if everything I’ve seen is just for kids. It has been an inspiration for me for my original story too :)

Any hopes and wishes for future episodes/seasons?

Development with the Kuron plot (I want the real Shiro back!)

Will Lotor end up deceiving Allura and the paladins (even unintentionally)? Will he ever make peace with his mother?

Krolia and Keith bonding - her telling him why she left and what happened with his dad and stuff.

Is Zarkon REALLY dead? What does Haggar really want to achieve having her son in place as the leader?

Seeing what’s happening with Earth

Will Allura and her newfound alchemy powers be the ultimate fighter against the final boss?

Do you think you’ll stick it out until the end of the show?

Hell yeah. I need to know how this will all end and who will be the final boss (quintessence monster) and whether Lotor will really really become good, make peace with Honerva, and be the true leader to lead his race . How will Earth be involved in the fight, what will happen to the paladins and Allura and Coran after the war is over? I need answers lol.

Don’t get me wrong,THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST SEASONS EVER, buuuuut I have some things to say, about what I liked and what I didn’t like about it, so.. spoiler warning i guess lol:

Positives:

- THE SPACE MICE ARE ALIVE I’M SO HAPPY

- THE D&D (OR M&M LOL) EPISODE WAS FANTASTIC A N D THE “I’M SHIRO’S TWIN BROTHER” MOMENT GOT ME SCRRRREAMING !

- Shiro/Kuron in the M&M episode... He’s so dramatic I love him!

- LANCE AND HIS FURSONA SPIKE! I SWEAR TO THE GODS THAT HE’S GONNA BE MY FIRST TATTOO

-Hunk, Pidge and Allura... DFHKDKFFJD HUG ME I LOVE THEM SO MUCH

- Coran... when he was the inkeeper... And he turned around... ksjfewefhewhf I stan

- The show looked fantastic! They have definetly stepped up their game! The planets, the backgrounds, the characters, EVERYTHING LOOKED FANTASTIC!

- The fight between Kuron and Keith BROKE MY HEART

- Could they PLEASE just FREAKING decide wether or not they want Shallura to be canon? Like, I don’t mind them together, Shallura and Klance are literally the same ships (one hella gay, the other one hella straight), if one is romantic, then other is also romantic, but coME ON! We litteraly saw her feeling guilty about the fact that she broke his heart, and she clearly cares about him, but I feel like it would be such a toxic thing to teach kids: If you flirt and annoy your crush enough, they’re gonna fall for you!!11! I’M NOT SAYING ANYTHING ABOUT LANCE HERE, I don’t think he’s a bad person, but as the creators have already said: He needs to accept that what he wants is not what he needs...There are still 4/5 seasons left for them to make it a fix the situation, and if they are endgame, I will respect it. And Lance as the king of the alteans ofvofrgjieri if that happens I will definetly forgive Dreamworks

- I did not expect there to be any characters confirmed LGBT in this season, but I’m really nervous that they’re queerbaiting us... Comments: Back to Earth AU. Reunion fic. This one occasionally flips pov to some characters on Earth so we get to see their reactions to the gang’s initial disappearance and then the realization that they are not alone in the universe. This fic is so different from the other Back To Earth ones I've read, all the little details make it feel so real. A song that I feel sets the mood for this fic is Home and It Goes On.

Summary: Keith’s shirt falls to the floor and Shiro gets so distracted by the ink on his skin that when he finally realizes Keith was trying to flip him, he’s already on his back. With the mismatched ‘Never tell me the odds’ pressed against his throat, Shiro thinks he could fall in love like this.

Comments: Part 1 of the series blame it on the stardust which is partway through its second installment just pretending to know. This is a Sheith fic featuring tattooed!Keith. Also, my favorite part is the OG GARRISON TRIO AKA Matt/Shiro/Keith bonding bc they are my favorite friendship group ugh. Also Keith’s adoptive parents are super awesome like seriously I love them so much. This one ends with the start of season one basically, and Part 2 kinda picks up from there.

Then they’re pulling their gloves off, revealing pale, half-bruised knuckles of the human variation, and their mask is dissolving, giving way to big blue-purple eyes and an achingly familiar jet-black cowlick. “Who,” says Keith Kogane, in that low-pitched rumble that makes Lance’s stomach roil in the good way—holy fuck—“is this guy you’re trying to get over?”

Comments: Lots of Lance whump. And obviously this is Klance endgame. I just love how far this goes before Lance finds out its not just some random bom guy. Lance is such a sassy guy when he’s in danger and it really comes out in this fic. Add in a heaping tablespoon of protective Keith and you’ve got yourself the perfect post-s4 voltron fanfic right here.

Comments: Slowburn Kidge roadtrip AU. Background Shallura. This is a college AU that feels very raw to me idk. Like its not just all fluff and comedy, its also angst and comfort and thrilling in all the ways. The way their conversations flow and relationship develops is so natural and un-forced. This fic really made me like Pidge a lot more after reading. Even if you don’t ship it romantically, it really makes you appreciate the fiery, explosive bond between them. Platonic Kidge is also something I started exploring because of how much I loved the interaction with these two.

Summary: When Keith found himself mentally linked to Lance of all people, he never thought that it would end in anything but irritation and misery on both sides. He certainly never imagined that it would be a useful asset in team Voltron's fight against the Galra Empire. Now if he can just keep his feelings in check, they might actually have a chance at defeating Zarkon.

Needless to say, when he'd wished for a 'bonding moment' with Lance, this wasn't exactly what he'd had in mind.

Comments: Klance with eventual mature content. Whump for both parties in this fic, and lots of angst. Also super-protective-over-Keith Shiro, which is my fav. A warning that this is very slow burn. I mean look at that word count. It’s amazing tho bc we get so much of this goodness. I love Stuck-Together and Forced Co-Dependency Tropes and this satisfies both. These two are forced to show so much vulnerability to each other and get so much closer as a result.

**Keith’s ‘Physical Contact’ Initiation Program by alisayamin (sh_04e)

Summary: Keith didn’t move and neither did Pidge. It was a little awkward until Keith finally said, “Maybe we could officially officiate this..?”

“What do you mean?”

“Fist me.”

Pidge recoiled and sputtered, “Keith, what the f-” She was cut off by Shiro’s bellowing laughter from the observatory deck.

With his straight face unchanged, Keith lowered his left hand with the stopwatch and lifted his right hand, fisted.

Pidge actually sighed with so much relief, “OH. You mean fistbump! Right.” She slapped her forehead to remove the very very wrong image her imagination drew for her, “Holy shit, Keith, we need to work on that but yeah sure, I’d be honoured to officiate your physical contact program whatever.”

That one time Coran realized Keith was too distant and decided to make him undergo the 'Physical Contact' Initiation Program which then led to --> 5 times the paladins realized Keith was an actual cat.

Comments: I. LOVE. THIS. STORY. ugh. Keith bonding with everyone through hugs and cuddles, man. That is all that needs to be said. Oh and also Keith whump plus lots of comfort. Also Matt&Keith bros and Pidge&Keith bros is life. And super-protective-over-Keith Shiro. LITERALLY EVERYTHING YOU COULD EVER WANT ALL IN ONE GLORIOUS FIC. But seriously in this one, Keith unashamedly knows he wants physical affection, he just struggles with how to ask for it.

Keith's bitten by a lovebug, but this one doesn't make him all cuddly. Instead, every moment he spends away from Lance is physically painful for him, and every moment he spends touching him is really, really nice. That's frustrating enough already without Keith having to hide his massive crush.

Lance just wants to help, but he knows that Keith doesn't like to be touched. Also hiding a massive crush, because these two are horrible at communication.

Comments: Slowburn Klance with so much Keith whump and comforting and supportive Lance. I really like this version of the Lovebug AU, especially bc it basically doubles as one of those Stuck-Together Tropes, and also they become super co-dependent on each other which is also nice because we get to see all their vulnerabilities and insecurities forced into the spotlight.

Bushel and a Peck by isabeau25 Words: 5,158 Author’s Summary: It’s not Hunk’s first job interview, but it might just be his favorite. Series Part 3 of The Five Lions Cafe My Comments: We’re coming up on the busy season at my job, and I was grateful for this spot of pre-emptive stress relief. It’s so lovely and relaxing. Read the whole series.

Cream Waterfalls and Violet Stars and All The Broken ThingsbyMashpotatoeQueen5 Words: 3,185 Author’s Summary: Coran had children once. (A fic about before and after, and the family that our favorite Space Uncle might have lost in his ten thousand years of slumber. Sad… but hopeful ending?) My Comments: Beautiful and haunting vision of Coran’s lost family and how he sees them in the new children he deals with every day. I love the idea of Coran as a family man, and this is a great exploration of that concept.

Shopping for Disaster by Engineer104 Words: 6,108 Author’s Summary: Allura just wanted something sparkly, and Pidge just wanted to get her ears pierced. And they will, after a mishap involving a kid, a Druid, and a Galra ship. My Comments: Bonding time with Pidge and Allura turns into an action/adventure with plenty of badassery from both. Very fun read.

Children of the Empire by foxysquid for Meteorysh Words: 10,147 Author’s Summary: Those who find themselves without parents can turn to Emperor Zarkon for parental guidance instead—but Thace would rather not. Shuttled off to a school for orphaned children, he has to adapt to a strange place, with no one to rely on. Fortunately, he may not be as alone as he thinks he is. Written for Galra Secret Santa, as a gift for meterorysh! There are also some accompanying illustrations, which you can find here. My Comments: Absolutely stunning. Achy and touching, fantastic worldbuilding and characterization. I felt so bad for tiny Thace, losing his parents and shipped off to a school where he had to guard himself every second of every day for fear of being outed as a traitor. The friendship with Ulaz and eventual conclusion were extremely satisfying. This read like the beginning of an original novel, one that I would gladly devour in like a day at a most.

Four are shipfics, Shatt, Shallura, and Sheith, plus Shunkeith, but the chapters are labeled so you can easily skip them and stick to the gen if you want.

Vasish by ElementKitsune for AstroPhantom Words: 2,255 Author’s Summary: Sometimes, you just wake up and go see a storm with your favourite princess. (Coran and Allura go stormwatching) My Comments: Sweet Allura and Coran interaction before the fall of Altea. It’s cute, and a little sad, but mostly heartwarming.

Stranger Danger (2) by YukiSetsu Words: 2,076 Author’s Summary: Sequel to Stranger Danger (part 5 of Whumpmas series). After the last incident, Lance didn’t think he’d run into David again anytime soon. He was wrong. My Comments: Sequel to a previously recced fic, and just as good as that one. The realism of this is what hikes up to true levels of disturbing. Great protectiveness from the others.

Epoxy to the World by buckysbears (DrZebra) Words: 2,245 Author’s Summary: Shiro, Pidge, and Keith are forced into a Galra gladiator arena. The two younger paladins see a side of Shiro that he desperately wishes they hadn’t. My Comments: Very intense and emotional. This is pretty much Shiro’s worst nightmare. I don’t blame him for losing himself a little bit along the way.

What’s In A Name? by bouquetofwhoopsiedaisies Words: 1,532 Author’s Summary: “What is ‘Keith’?” Kolivan asked one evening. Keith looked up, blinking in confusion. “I’m Keith.” “Yes, but what is ‘Keith’?” Kolivan pressed.“Well, as far as I know, mostly human, and some Galra.” He really thought Kolivan already knew this. He had been there when Keith’s knife changed form, indicating that he had Galra blood. How much, none of them knew. Kolivan huffed, looking impatient. “The word. ‘Keith’. What does it mean, in your language?” (The Blades get curious about the name of their smallest member. Pidge does some hacking to find out the surprising answer) My Comments: Cute, fluffy, and funny. I like the little bit of Galra culture, too, and Blades being protective and teasing of Keith is always a plus.

Castle Glitch by YukiSetsu Words: 2,394 Author’s Summary: When a bug from Pidge’s laptop accidentally infects the Castle, Lance ends up having to face an extreme gladiator bot without a weapon and armor. As expected, things get dangerous really quick. My Comments: Excellent whump, excellent protective team. I don’t know how many ways to say that I’m enjoying everything this author is doing, but here it is again.

Sick Day by FanaticFangirl2602 for RandomDragonDoodles Words: 2,727 Author’s Summary: Keith should have seen it coming. Actually, he did see it coming. The little voice in the back of his mind had been scolding him for going so hard for the past month, but all he’d done was push it aside and ignore it. A dumb decision. My Comments: Nice little Keith-centric sickfic in a college AU. Hits the spot.

All Swallowed in their Coats by yet_intrepid for stover Words: 2,317 Author’s Summary: Shiro and his new roommate, Matt, would tell you that they are nothing alike: Shiro is an overwhelmed grad student, while Matt is a dropout and avid science youtuber. But then there’s a blizzard, and maybe things change. My Comments: Great modern AU with Shiro and Matt realizing that they have much more in common than they think. Past abuse.

Fruit Loops by SerenePhenix Words: 3,571 Author’s Summary: Shiro never stood a chance. My Comments: Wonderful team-as-family feels in a modern roommate AU. So cute and fluffy and sweet.

It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas by WinterSky101 Words: 2,510 Author’s Summary: In which Pidge is a Christmas elf. ‘Tis the season, after all. My Comments: Cute and sweet and fluffy, with just a touch of angst at the end. 'Tis the season!

If Only In My Dreams by yet_intrepid Words: 5,918 Author’s Summary: The team agrees that Space Christmas isn’t that great with Keith off on missions with the Blade of Marmora. But it’s a lot, lot worse with Keith held hostage by the Galra. My Comments: Awesome whump fic, very snappy pace and intense emotions, and the Christmas theme just heightened the whole thing to the rafters.

In Stitches by A_Zap Words: 6,118 Author’s Summary: With every stitch, a bigger picture can be seen. And each one is made with love.In which everyone on Team Voltron learns more about Lance as he knits the day away. And maybe he learns something too. My Comments: It’s been a while since I’ve read a fic with Lance as a knitter. This was very warm and soft and fluffy, lots of great bonding and sweetness. Very satisfying.

Tradition… Tradition by imperiality Words: 6,802 Author’s Summary: It’s bright! It’s loud! It’s festive! It’s everything Shiro hasn’t really had for Christmas, and it’s wonderful. Then the night winds down. And it’s down to 3. They talk about traditions. Some are lonelier than others. My Comments: The entire team has a lovely Christmas, but the ending conversation between Shiro, Matt, and Keith was the most emotional and heartwarming thing in the fic. Little bit of angst and emotional hurt comfort for lonely boys who miss their homes, but mostly they’re just happy to count their blessings where they are.

One by One by LitDragonWagon Words: 8,512 Author’s Summary: Shiro remains in a state of Not Surprised about all the people who join him in his bed. (Just a cute fic about the paladins platonically sleeping together due to nightmares, and healing.) My Comments: Paladin cuddle puddle to the max. This was very relaxing to read. Brief mention of Klance.

The World of Lion Soul

Well, we’re out of questions and the holiday season (and the @shallura-month celebration) is keeping me pretty distracted.

If you have any questions about The World of Lion Soul, please feel free to ask! I won’t answer spoilers (or any questions about the Bucket Incident, as I have been sworn to secrecy) but you can ask about characters, about cultures, about the humans or the prides or really just about anything.

For today, one of my MASterful friends suggested I talk about the inspiration behind Lion Soul. It’s not exactly what I’d consider a “world-building” question, but with no other ideas to go with, sure, why not?

Hopefully the next question will go up Wednesday, December 13. I say “hopefully” because I will be traveling that day; I’ll try to get something queued up before then.

For now, I’ll babble about how “Lion Soul” came to be.

So, once upon a glorious time, @yliseryn asked if I’d be interested in doing a collaboration with her. And once I was done screaming, flailing, and whooping for joy, I said that I was honored and would love to.

Neither one of us had really even done a collab before, so we talked a little bit. What we wound up going with was that I’d come up with at least 3 ideas over the course of the next week and pitch them to her, and then she’d choose which one she liked.

‘Course, then I had to come up with 3 ideas. Steampunk and Fantasy AUs were pretty easy, given that I love those genres, but I was stuck for an idea for the third. Out of desperation as the deadline approached, I mined some old RPs with a friend of mine that I’ve fallen out of contact with. We had a lot of werewolf/were-something-or-other RPs (along with slews of vampires, witches, and other such beings of myth) and I sorted through them trying to find something that I liked.

And then I found the RP where I had created a young woman whose parents had been Hunters (that idea ran through the RPs as well) who was raised by the werewolves who’d killed her parents. They were part street gang, part mafia sort of organization, so she was brought into this criminal underworld. She knew from the outset that these people had killed her parents - she saw it happen - and that they had almost killed her (she had scars on her stomach from where she’d been clawed). But she also knew they’d taken care of her, protected her, given her somewhere to belong, as best she could. But she never COULD belong, because she was human. And she hated that. My RP partner’s character was a white werelion who had rejected his pride’s ways - he was the Alpha’s son, and as such was expected to become Alpha himself some day, but that could only happen if he killed his father, which he was unwilling to do - and had gone out into the world to become a cop, eventually becoming a homicide detective. He almost never shifted, choosing to live as a human as best he could.

He yelled at her about being part of an organized crime gang and about why she’d want to be a were; she yelled at him about what an incredible gift he had and he’d just thrown it away, etc. They fall in love, of course.

That idea of a white werelion stuck with me immediately, of course. Allura became that (because OBVIOUSLY) and that made Shiro the human-raised-by-weres. I made it more traditional fantasy instead of urban fantasy, and that became my third idea.

Ylis loved it immediately, and we began work on it. We developed it together into what it is now. I don’t even remember how “Lion Soul” became the title of it; one of us pulled it out of thin air.

So thanks out to Sarah for that RP, because it’s become one of the most popular pieces of fanfic I’ve ever written. ^_^; And y’all can thank Ylis for choosing this idea to run with, as well as helping me flesh it out more.

Current Shallura WIPs

Now that Summer is here and I plan on writing a lot more. So here’s a list of things to expect from me over the next few months.

1) Only With You: Chapter 6.

Childhood!Shalllura AU. Allura and Shiro are best friends that meet as children and grow old together. Right now, they are about 4 years old. It’s full of fluff and humor. Also, it features Good Zarkon! He is Alfor’s best friend and business partner. Chapter 6 introduces Lotor, a person that brings out the jealousy in Shiro because he isn’t used to sharing Allura. I told myself that this was going to be a short chapter, but its already 11K deep...so yeah...Get ready for that...

Rating: G, then will eventually change into M when they are adults and realize their feelings. Here is chapter 5. Warnings: Fluff Fest. (And they were roommates.)

2) The Infamous Voltron.

Space Dystopian Mafia AU. (??) What if Voltron wasn’t the defender of the universe. What if instead Voltron was the codename for the deadliest gang in the known universe?

Based off of my headcanon. (That should tell you a lot more of each of their characters in this story. What makes it an “Evil Voltron” is that I want to take the darkest, most predatory elements of each of their canon personas and amplify them. By 1000x. It’s gonna take on a dark concept because of mental illnesses, blood, gore and such. I’m a slut for an evil version of literally anything, so this was something I’ve been thinking about for a while now. I just need to practice writing descriptive action scenes because I want this story to have a lot of action. I plan on having a teaser chapter up soon. Not sure how soon tho. However, I don’t have a plot for this story just yet. The only thing I have figured out is that each member has their vices.

Rating E. Oh yeah. It’a going to have blood, gore, extreme violence, and filthy sex. Pairings: Shiro/Allura, Keith/Lance

3) Mr. and Mrs. Shirogone

Assassin AU. Allura and Shiro live a simple life. A cute house in the suburbs that makes the upper-middle-class their bitch. After 5 years of marriage, they think they know everything about each other. For example. Shiro knows that Allura likes four spoonfuls of sugar in her morning tea, but only two for the cup she drinks before climbs into bed. He thinks its adorable how she thinks that waffles are superior to pancakes only because the “syrup pockets” give it the edge.

He also knows that it takes her exactly 43 seconds for her to pull up into the driveway and get into the house, leaving just enough time for him to put away his newly polished guns and clean the blood from his shirt. What Shiro doesn’t know is that Allura knows how to kill a man 3x her size without leaving a single bruise.

Life was more simple before they found out the person they vowed their undying love to was one of the world’s deadliest assassins, each with a 100% kill rate. It was also more simple before their competing agencies assigned them to kill each other. I have literally written nothing to make this plot become a reality. But I will. One day. Rating: M for violence and…things. Warnings: Blood, Gore, Spy Talk.

4) Hellooo Nurse!

Domestic AU. After a minor operation, Shiro is left high on drugs. Unable to remember much or control his tongue, Shiro falls in love with who he thinks is the nurse and uses cheesy pickup lines to gain her affection. Lucky for him she’s already his wife.

Rating: G. So much fluff. Warnings: Shiro is very much out of character for this. Shameless Flirting.

5) Not Over You

Breakup/Makeup AU. Just when Shiro finally thought he was over her, she came back into his life to remind him that he wasn’t. Two-shot. Rating: E. (They do the do, my guys) Warnings: Fluff and Smut.

6) Allura Whump.

I’m a sucker for hurt characters and their loved one needs to race against time to save them. So with that being said, Allura needs to get hurt. Badly. So its gonna happen. This is Shallura, but its mostly a team effort to protect and save her. But how can they do that in the middle of a war zone? Hmm...We’ll see. Rating: T Warnings: Blood. Blood everywhere. *evil laughter*

7) Chapter 2 of The Model and the Photographer.

“Lance was right, her hair was a mess and it looked like a bitch to get manageable again. The rain had converted it back to its naturally curly texture and it still somehow perfectly framed her face. Long, thick lashes, still coated with rainwater, surrounded the bluest eyes Shiro had ever seen. Her lipstick, that once painted her full lips, was now smudged across her chin and some even stained her teeth because of Lance’s harsh treatment. Her tank top rode up slightly and clung to her body in all the right places and he was pretty sure that one of her shoes were missing.

She looked a downright mess. She looked like she was out in the rain for hours instead of minutes. She was truly the definition of a disaster. She was - She looked - She-S-

She was fucking gorgeous.”

Chapter 2 of this is basically complete but its missing something. This one will definitely be up before Voltron S6 comes out on Friday.

That's all of my ideas I have for the summer. More will probably come and this list will get longer as time goes on.

I had this little one shot pop into my head on the way home from the grocery store today:

Truth or Dare

Truth or Dare was Coran’s idea. He thought it would make a good team building exercise. Mostly everyone had picked truth so far and nothing revealed was particularly shocking. Hunk had to feed Shiro soup while wearing Pidge’s glasses. That was amusing.

Pidge was bored. She predicted nearly every secret and action in the game so far and was hoping someone would shake things up soon.

“Lance, it’s your turn. Truth or Dare?” She asked.

“Pidge, since I am an open book, I’ll pick dare!” Lance winked at Pidge and smirked a ready for anything smirk at Allura.

“Ugh.” Pidge and Allura groaned in unison.

“Hmm…” Pidge paused to think a moment, “I dare you to, to kiss…”

Lance grinned wider.

“..on the mouth…”

Lance gave Allura an eyebrow wiggle.

“Keith.”

“What?” Keith looked up from his fingernails, a red rising to his cheeks.

“What?” Lance protested, “No way, uh uh, I’m not kissing Keith.”

Keith shoulders dropped in relief.

“Why not, Lance?” Hunk chuckled. “Is it because he is a boy? I never would have pegged you for a homophobe.”

“I am not a homophobe! I’ll kiss you, Hunk. Right here, right now. I’ll kiss Shiro. Heck, I’ll even kiss Coran.”

“Gee, thanks,” Coran grumbled.

“It’s no skin off my back,” Keith replied defensively, “I wouldn’t want to kiss you either.”

“Why won’t you kiss Keith, Lance?” Allura asked, “It’s just a kiss.”

Lance flushed.

“I wouldn’t want to kiss Keith, because I kiss so well, he’d probably fall in love with me and then things would be awkward.”

“I don’t think that will be a problem,” Keith crossed his arms and huffed.

Lance stepped towards Keith, “Oh, it will be! Pucker up, Keith. I am about to blow your damn mind with these lips.”

“Yeah, I’ll blow your mind with my lips.”

“Yeah!” Lance postured.

“Yeah!” Keith postured back.

“I didn’t realize human kisses involved blowing, did you, Allura? I thought it was more of a pressing motion like our kisses.” Coran turned to ask the princess.

Allura looked at Shiro and flushed before lying, “How would I know?”

Everyone stopped to watch Keith and Lance.

They looked like two roosters dancing, their heads bobbing in and out as they would lean in, then pull away before any lip contact was made. Their arms fluttered at their side, as they did know where to put their hands.

“Bwack, bwack, bwack,” Hunk clucked.

“I’m not chicken,” Keith growled and stood up tall.

“You’re the one pulling away!” Lance accused.

“You’re the one pulling away! Keith countered.

Lance rolled his shoulders, “On the count of 3. One, two, th-”

Keith’s lips landed hard on his mouth before he could finish three and it accidentally made him slip Keith the tongue. Lance could feel his hair catch on the snap of Keith’s motorcycle glove as Keith’s fingers tangled in his hair. Lance’s breath caught in his throat.

Oh shit, Keith was winning.

Lance grabbed Keith by the shirt and changed the angle of the kiss, brushing his bottom lip in a way that caused Keith’s heart to pound and his ears redden.

Now, the game would become a game of who would pull away first.

Hunk, who had been plotting ways to get them together for weeks now, gave Pidge an elbow jab, “Pidge, you evil genius.”

Pidge made a gagging motion, “I have regrets.”

Shiro coughed, “I think that is enough you two,” allowing them to part, both victors.

“And maybe enough of this game,” Shiro continued, “Let’s get some rest. You never know when we will have to go to battle against the Galra.”

The gang went their separate ways.

Lance and Keith walked in silence back to their rooms, looking everywhere but at each other. When they reached Keith’s door, they both stopped and stared at it for an awkward amount of time.

“So,” Lance attempted conversation but didn’t know what to say.

“So,” Keith repeated.

“I have to admit, you’re not a bad kisser, Keith,” Lance relented.

“You’re not too bad yourself, Lance,” Keith replied rather formally.

“It was weird, everyone watching though.”

“It was.”

“I can’t help but wonder what…” Lance hesitated and decided not to finish his sentence.

Kieth smirked and finished it for him, “I kiss like when no one is watching?”

“Yeah, kinda,” Lance replied.

Keith grabbed him the lapel of his jacket and pulled Lance inside his room, leaving door shut behind them.
