Probably the most difficult one yet, but I had a lot of fun trying to problem solve how to design them in a way that still maintained their anonymity

Always have flowers in their pelts!

Covered in thick mud constantly (they like it :] dries a bit near rear.)

"Mask" is a trash bag and plastic bottle with a wet rag inside (made by their respective Engineers.)

"Flamethrower" is an ignited stick covered in pine resin.

In battle, either Pyro will take a mouthful of a mixture made from prey's fatty oils and tree sap and spray it on their breath onto the ignited stick while aiming with their tail (think a fire breather.)

You know what I need more of? Tango going all flamey when he’s daydreaming about Jimmy or when Jimmy’s doing something cute in his vicinity. And I need moments where like - well he normally goes all fire-hair on Hermitcraft or Empires after DL, right? So he gets used to worlds where he can’t burn stuff.

But then he gets on 24L and Jimmy’s a “bad boy” and wearing Tango's jacket and he’s trying to be TOUGH and Tango thinks it’s cute as shit, so he just ends up getting all smitten, and he keeps forgetting the world has fire tick ON so he can burn things again.

Which is 50% of the reason Impulse and Etho voted for a 100% stone build, because even wooden decor would be toast if Tango gets distracted for too long.

Stark and Hightower fans accusing House Targaryen of colonizing Westeros are beyond parody. Starks descend from the First Men and Hightowers from the Andals and both of these groups committed genocide against Westeros ’ actual indigenous inhabitants, the Children of the Forest. They either slaughtered them or forced them further North and destroyed their sacred trees, causing their physical and cultural destruction in the process.

LAND BACK FOR THE CHILDREN, LEAF AS QUEEN IN THE NORTH.

I find Stark and Hightower fans to be mostly Alicent and Sansa fans, so the hypocrisy doesn't surprise me. The "neutrals" and Team smallfolk are more of the same, hypocrites with double standards. It's funny because this two houses committed genocide while the Targaryens didn't, but it all comes back to the Targaryens being foreigners (disregarding that the Andals, Rhoynar and First Men are not natives of Westeros) it all just feels like xenophobia.

Imagine: Keith and Pidge holding hands and walking down town...

Then they walk in front of a bakery and, Keith noticed that Pidge was intensely watching the bakery.

Keith: you want something? Pidge: *stares at him so violently that her eyes would pop out of her face* Keith: alright.

So Pidge took whatever she wanted at the bakery....

Pidge: emo, what do you want? Keith: Nothin', thanks. Pidge: Are you sure? Keith: sure. Pidge: Ok, don't ask me to take a bite on my food later, then.

they went out the bakery and sat on a bench in front of the sea. Pidge was simply eating and at some point, she notices that Keith is staring at her.

Pidge: Whaaat? Keith: nothing... Pidge: you're hungry, aren't you? keith: pidge: *Sigh*

She shared the half of whatever she was eating with him.

Continuity issues with Denise going to Kitakami this early aside, I went there, had more trouble than expected settling on a voice for Carmine, and got my Vulpix.

Between her and Charcadet I am going to decimate the first two gyms.

#mel's musings #forest for the tree #“but mel why are you using two fire types” LISTEN ok i needed vulpix bc dena's mom has a ninetales that's known her since she was born #jen's ninetales is dena's main source of emotional support with her family issues and depression and whatnot #and jen also lets her keep ninetales while she's adjusting to her new school life & during her treasure hunt #for my purposes she's there to fill out dena's team until i can use koraidon #and she'll also be the first member of her b team when i get back to the dlc content #which i don't plan on progressing any further in until after i've beaten the main story. again for continuity's sake #in my canon dena doesn't go to kitakami until the summer after her first treasure hunt. then she goes to blueberry a few months after #oh well. this wasn't the first issue and it definitely won't be the last #mel plays scarvi

[Pyro was laying down in the middle of their room in a starfish position. Plushies all over, as well as crayons- broken and used ones, mostly.

It was hard to tell if they were awake or not, until they sat straight up and jumped to their feet- same way kid would be excited to see a friend.

They bent down, almost sitting again- to pick up an armful of markers and their favorite coloring pencils. Once they had a bunch, dropping a few, they went to stand in front of clo and bounce on their feet excitedly. They sorta pushed their arms out towards Clo, doing their best not to drop any of their art supplies.]

I was lied to Pokemon Sword is so much fun

#i say this like i wasnt trashing on it when it was first announced 💀#BUT LOOK I WAS WRONG THIS GAME IS GOOD!#probably partially because they had time to fix the bugs 💀#but the gym challenges?? might be my favorite so far i love them all #the grass and the fire ones especially!#like yeah they're not stupidly difficult but they're creative too #and honestly there are some banger galar mons #i will say the routes are kinda week #especially in the first section of the game #the forest area with the glowinb mushrooms and fhe town in it though??? awesome #the story is what I'd expect of a pokemon story tbh #i think the only thing i actively dislike so far is team yell #they're not as funny as team skull and they're kinda boring (although their dialogue can be really funny I'll give em that)#but it's good!! im enjoying it!!!#reawakening my childhood joy or something idk #the wild area is honestly fun too like its a lil shallow but i dont mind it #oh and the characters so far are great #i also bought the dlc and i havent touched any of the crown tundra but the isle of armor is so fun #klara is hilarious actually she might be my fav rival so far 💀#and kubfu 🥹 i rushed to get him so i could use him for my playthrough and he kicks ass!!!!#so yeah im having fun with it #in case anyone was wondering where the random sword reblogs came from LMAO

So I'm playing a fan-made pokemon game called This Gym of Mine where, instead of being a trainer, you're a gym leader. It's kind of fun, and I've played it a lot more than I thought I would. Only I'm a bit confused right now...

I think I somehow managed to get a shiny?

I'm not sure if it's a glitch or if I genuinely caught one because I haven't run into any other shiny pokemon to compare. When I first caught it, it looked normal and it looks normal in the stat screen as well, but...Well. take a look:

When I send him out, he's shiny.

This is the stat screen, so I'm sure you can understand my confusion.

This has to be one of the most unexpected shiny pokemon I've ever come across, but I'm going to go ahead and count it. This means Goomy has been added to the list of shinies that Amy is going to have in my pokemon fic. Lance isn't going to leave her alone when he finds out, that's for sure, ahaha.
