summary : as a daughter of a brilliant knight of Liones, you grown up in a abusive familyhood. you then escaped of this situation and someone’s knight were looking for a bride for their king just as they saw you running out…

PROLOGUE -> PT.1 -> PT.2

“i cannot…ah…just stay there…ah…while doing nothing…!” I said to myself while I was running without turning back as my drunk father yelled to me to come home and stop my “bullshits”.

I was still in my street, not running fast because of my heavy armor and sword. but the good side is that I wasn’t being chased by an alcoholic person that I call “father”.

so I stopped running for a while, my face all red because of the effort. I started walking out of Liones till I bump in someone with long white hair.

“ow…watch where you’re goin-“ I exclaimed till I face the person that turned back.

wait…

“sorry miss !!” said the freaking prince Tristan surrounded by his…friends ?

“o-oh ! do not apologise your majesty it’s for me I-“ I’ve been cut by him chuckling curiously. we know each other slightly, my dad know his dad a bit so we saw each other often.

“oh come on, (y/n), not those manners between us !!” he smiled at me after saying that. I smiled back but nervously, I was kinda hurry.

“oh okay, if you say so, Tristan” I chuckled softly between my words. I looked at the people behind him and looked at a girl that was clearly scaring me. she looked at me with furious eyes, that’s a girl I often saw around Tristan and two other guys.

“anyway, what were you doing in such a hurry ?” those words were from a guy I recognised between all : Lancelot. I frowned, knowing he knew about my abusive father. I then thought again about the fact that I needed to leave right the way.

“u-uh…doing exercises !!” I said seriously but nervous too because I was lying.

“LIAR !” screamed a blue haired girl from behind a lil man with a purple helmet. I jumped as she screamed and looked at her with wide eyes. how could she know anything about me and my reason to leave ??

“I-uh…excuse me…what ?” I said kinda nervous because of the feeling of all the gaze on me.

“I said : you’re lying” she said sure of herself.

“how can you be sure of that ?” I asked without any bad talking, I was just so confused. as she was going to talk about her “thing”, Lancelot explained.

“she can see when people are lying, blah blah blah… anyway, what. were. you. running. off. from ??” he frowned as Tristan did too. I started feeling stress in my tummy.

“I-uhh…I was-“ I’ve been cut again by Tristan touching my shoulder while saying with worried eyes.

“do you want me to call my father for any help ?? he could talk to your paren-“ he had been cut too by me saying clearly and loudly “nope !”

“DON’T CUT WHEN SIR PRINCE TRISTAN LIONES IS TALKING !” yelled the freaking scary girl that was staring at me badly since I got here.

the little kid with a purple helmet said with all his innocence which was so cute “hello ! I’m Percival ! who are you ?”

I jumped again “what are their problems ?? they are all talking at the same time : there’s a girl screaming at me “liar” another tell me life lessons, a boy is presenting himself and Tristan is saying if I need help of his father !!”

calm down (y/n).

before I could say it, Lancelot did it : “wow, guys, you’re all talking at the same time ! calm down !!”

I felt my tension decrease slowly as I looked at the little boy and said with a nice smile “hey ! I’m (y/n) nice to meet you Percival !”

he smiled and chuckled before saying “nice to meet you too !”

“anyways guys i really need to go now…for my reasons.” I started walking forward again before a hand placed on my shoulder.

“will we met again, (y/n) ?” said Tristan with a worried look before I saw Lancelot having the same look. I chuckled before turing to them.

“of course we will, I promise”

he smiled as a relief before I waved to them and ran back out of Liones.

as I ran out of Liones, a bag of clothes in my hands, I couldn’t stop thinking about ‘what if Tristan tell his dad ??’

but I trust Tristan, he know that I wasn’t okay with it, he wouldn’t do it…right ?

I stopped running when I bumped into someone in the stable at the exit of Liones. the shock ad a sound of two metals hitting each other. am I bumping into everyone now or what ?

“excuse me” I said not bothering looking at the man, a knight to be more precise.

the man said nothing, just looking at me weirdly. he was looking at me like some model that needed to be perfect. suddenly he touched my hair, I then gasped, reminding of an old memory. I then slapped his hand out of my hairs and looked furiously at him.

“what do you think you’re doing ?!” I exclaimed calmly but with a furious tone.

“would you see yourself as a queen ?”

my eyes widen, what was he on about ?? I felt the aura of others knights hiding somewhere. I felt my breath heavier. and looked at him to respond.

“what are you talking about, you fool ? I won’t marry Tristan !!” I exclaimed slightly confused. I started walking to my horse, trying to get out of this…trap I think ?

“I’m not talking of Liones here” he said with a more serious tone. his eyes locked on me, trying to look at my body trough my armor.

I gasped as I prepared my horse, nearly finished so I can ran out.

“w-well…no, I know it’s some random jokes. now if you’ll excuse me” I said as he chuckled after it. I jumped on my horse looking at him from the top of my horse.

he smiled and said “we’ll see about that then. we will met again, and this time we will take you and bring you to our king”.

I gasped and turn my horse around and started going away from the stable and them. why is this day so awful ??

as hours passed fast, my horse felt more and more tired and the was going to let his place to the moon. I then thought that I needed to stop at an hostel. I then went to closer village from where I was.

when I finally saw a village where people lived peacefully. I put my horse in the stable of the village. and then rushed in the hostel, it was already the night.

the hostel was a small one. after I prayed, wishing there was still free rooms, I entered in.

“hello ma’am ! how can I help you ?” said the person directly when I entered : which makes me jump.

“hello, can I get a room for tonight. I’m alone” I smiled slightly at the old man.

“uuh…let me check…yeah…we have still two rooms free so you can get a room” said the old man as he took a key behind him. “It’ll be the room 5”

I took the keys and said thanks and good night as I started walking to my room. when I entered, I heard loud man laugh on the room beside mine, great. I entered my room and started taking my shower.

as I stopped the water and was ready to dry myself, I stopped. I was frozen in place as I heard the conversation of my neighbours.

“yeah…ahah ! King Arthur is searching for a wife…I think our mission is over since we found this girl thus morning in the stable…ahahah, it was quick !”

wait…

what did he said ??!

I started panicking, my first move is to grab my towel and dry myself with a fast and nervous way. ‘(y/n), you’re completely alone right now, if they happen to see you…as the knights of King Arthur…you’re dead’

this night, I didn’t slept well : you know why.

the next morning got really fast. you woke up, got ready and got out of your room to checkout the night as the freaking knights were in the bar of the hostel. you gasped, panicking again when the old man called you loudly.

“good morning ma’am ! was everything okay ?”

you wanted to crush his face against his fucking desk. you took a big inspiration and walked in. feeling the gaze of the knights.

“I’d like to checkout” you said as you glared at the poor old man. you then payed and walked fast out of the hostel but…a hand grabbed your shoulder.

“we met again…ma’am” said the knight of the other day. I decided to act dumb :

“excuse me, who are you ?” you said as you grabbed his hand on your shoulder, put it away and glared at him.

“oh, don’t worry, you’ll know soon”

“wait,wha-“ after this, I felt a big blow on the said of my head that knocked me down…

Hi do you still take requests if so I have one in mind.(basically angst with the happy ending)

So what if aruthur and y/n were like meliodas and Elizabeth except it was only y/n that got cursed and once he got his power of chaos he was able to lift the curse the only consequences is that she forgets her romantic feelings with him, until he finds something special in their memories that would help her remember and then they get married (the special thing would be maybe something like a necklace he gave her when they were kids)

Lol I have alot of ideas for aruthur but sometimes I just can't put it out right😅

I did these as headcanons since I thought I wouldn't be able to flesh out the idea well, but I'm now very proud of it! I think these headcanons can be a very good start if I ever want to make a xReader out of this (or anyone). I tried to do them in the most canon way to the series timeline and without altering the characters we know. Hope you like them!

Arthur and his S/O if they were cursed similar to Meliodas and Elizabeth

Since only Y/N is being cursed with Elizabeth's curse, and assuming Arthur is a human (and so he has the lifespan of one and can't resurrect, at least until having Chaos), I'm guessing Y/N had to be cursed after they met while being kids, but without passing too much time in between both events. If not, the timeline would be a little strange. (Arthur gets Chaos canonically very fast if you think about it, just 16 years in comparison to the 3000+ years Meliodas had to endure with both curses)

Also, Y/N should have been cursed by someone who isn't the Demon King or the Supreme Deity, because it wouldn't make sense for them to be the ones. And the best next contender for that has to be Merlin.

Why is she being cursed? Maybe Merlin didn't want Arthur to be distracted from her goal, and so she took advantage of their relationship and forced Arthur to unlock his full potential, knowing well he would do everything to save his S/O from the curse. Neither Arthur nor Y/O knows that Merlin is responsible. Arthur asks Merlin for help, so of course everything goes according to her plan

Y/N has to be very unlucky to die several times, taking into account Arthur is still young and a human (Elizabeth dies at 28 y.o. on average, and Arthur will be able to solve everything in less than 16 years). So maybe she died like 2 or 3 times, max. 4 - 5 (if she was cursed let's say at 6 y.o, that would mean she dies every 2 years)

And if she dies, she can't reencarnate as a baby or Arthur would outlive her easily (and would be very creepy). So I'm guesing she reencarnates in someone close in age to Arthur.

To sum it up until now: Y/N is cursed by Merlin with Elizabeth's curse in an attempt to unlock Arthur's full potential faster. She dies a few times, every 2 years aprox. Like Elizabeth, Y/N always finds Arthur and falls in love with him, only to remember everything and die in 3 days.

This is assuming his canon information. If you wanted to think of it as them being demon/goddess then I don't think the story would be any different since you are just changing the protagonists but keeping the same formula

Back to the present: Arthur gets Chaos and is able to lift the curse, Merlin is also satisfied with the result (at least for now). However Arthur notices something strange, as if her S/O had some kind of amnesia, since she doesn't reciprocate his feelings (which were reciprocated until lifting the curse a few minutes ago)

Arthur worries a lot and explains her the situation, which is useless since Y/N doesn't remember anything of them being in a relationship. He makes his next objective being able to make Y/N fall in love with him, alongside making a country were no one suffers (he is a King after all)

With the passing of time he noticed that nothing he did made Y/N fall in love with him, which made him spiral into darkness and despair for some time, making him closer the 4kota Arthur we know

That was until one day he found in one well stored box a beautifully crafted necklace, which he inmediately recognized as the one he had gifted Y/N years ago when vowing to save her and marry her one day, and that was also discovered in the corpse of that same Y/N after the curse had made its appearence

It was more and more painful to make the same promise to every reencarnation only to end in death, that's why he stored it and put it away.

But now that problem had disappeared. Arthur took the necklace and went back to were Y/N was, just to gift it to her once and for all. To his surprise Y/N's eyes widened after seeing it in her hands - "I remember now..."

Both looked at each other with surprised looks on their faces. After so many years, war was over.

i stood up immediatly after i came to my senses, i looked at where i was when someone entered the room i was in. this freaking knight with red armor.

"i see you're up now, future queen" said the knight as a smirk animated his lips.

"where the fuck am i ? and don't you dare call me that again, you fool" you barked at him as he chuckled, his chuckle gave you the want to squeeze his head till blood comes out.

"oh don't worry about the place, we won't stay there long. the king is waiting for you. no now, obey" he said as a big head-aches took me by surprise. he put a hand on my hand when i felt a bandage that surronded my head.

"what king are you talking about ?? what did you do to my head and why would i obey you ??" i said really nervous as i thought of all the elements that bring me to a conclusion...was i in a forced marriage or something ??

"King Arthur of Camelot, i just knocked you out with my sword and you will obey me or i'll do worst to you" he grin as he looked down your body.

"don't you dare do something to...your future queen" you said as you thought about prented to be thrilled by the marriage and take my role as the queen to maybe find a way out of this trap.

"oh i see you're already taking your role...we'll see about that then" he said as he leaves and let you alone happily. you sighed as you heard a knight calling you to leave.

"in few minutes we'll arrive at Camelot !!" you heard a knight saying those words as you frowned, trying not to show your nervous situation, your heart pounting in your chest.

"open the portal" said the red armor's knight to another one who opened the portal as we entred this weird place. the castle was only few steps away as waitress came to you.

"hello my Lady Seria, follow us to the castle to dress you quickly !!" said an super kind waitress, but how did she knew my name ? as i follow them, i was surprised to see people happy in Camelot, i always thought that it was a no-life castle.

when we arrived in a room, with the most neautiful view i'd ever seen, a waitress gave me a sign to come near her.

when we finished my dressing, in my head i had the plan to run out directly when i got out of this room. "here, Lady Seria, you look stunning" said the waitress as other ones gasped in shock of i think...my beauty ? I stood up to look at how i was looking when my eyes widen in front of the mirror.

my long white wavy hair where let out on my white satin dress full of details with gold details on the extremities of the dress, my neck fully exposed with my shoulders exposed too, a square neckline with a purple set of necklace and earrings.

i took a deep breath as i smiled and turn around the waitresses "thank you, girls. please answer me just one question...do you know an easy way out of this castle ?"

as i prepared myself out, i opened the door and rushed to the way the waitress told me when i bumped into someone. i fell on the floor as it touched my nose bleeding. "hey watch where you're going !"

you look up to see two knights glaring at you, then suddenly they two took a arm of yours and started walking with you as you bleed of the nose.

“wait ! what are you doing ??” you said as you tried to go off of them, stirring your arms but nothing happened, you felt pain in your arms.

“to the throne room, Lady Seria” you gasped, nervous as your eyes widen when they stopped in front of a door. The red armor knight waiting for you.

“ready ?” he said with a grin. you gasped as he opened the big door. you saw a throne at the first sight with a ginger haired man sat on…Arthur…

the guard let you to the red armor knight by throwing you to him, you wiped you nose bleeding, and step in the room.

“hello, Ironside. I see you bring my bride…” a voice said as you shivered looking down, your breath heavy. the knight put a knee on the ground and bow to the king and said.

“hello, your majesty. yes, this is Lady Kay Seria from Liones. a holy knight from Liones, your majesty” he said, that was funny how his voice changed with the king. he turned at you glaring to you. you understood why, you looked up to the King, already looking at you. your eyes widen as you jumped and directly bow.

his presence was freaking me out. “good, the wedding is tomorrow.” you gasped, it was early !! you need to find a way out before tomorrow…

“of course, your majesty. she’ll be ready” he said, I saw him sweating as he talked to the King, I wanted to laugh so hard seeing him like that.

“but first, Merlin. make her queen…of chaos” your eyes widen, you didn’t knew about that as you looked up directly, ready to say something when Ironside whispered to you. “don’t you dare say no.” you gasped as Merlin step closer to you. touching your shoulder when you changed of room.

“well, it’s going to hurt a bit. but it’ll be quite fast if you cooperates.” you looked up to her, with a bored look, not saying a word. but in your head you were clearly doing a panick attack. “okay, what is it going to change on me ? what is it the “queen of chaos” thing ??”

“you’ll share your powers with Arthur. you’ll be bounded to him, and you’ll be the queen of chaos.”

you didn’t ad time to say anything that she put her two arms in front of you and a white kind of thunder pierced you. you then got knocked out.

as you woke up you were on the air, when a big pain took off your body. you screamed in pain, grabbing your tummy. “w-what…what are you d-doing to me ???!” you couldn’t stop screaming, the pain was too intense. when finally, it stopped. leaving you gasping for air on the ground. you glared at yourself in the mirror, looking at your now, black sclera. you screamed of surprise, before putting a had on your mouth.

tears dropped down your eyes as you felt something changed inside of you.

you were in your room dizzy about what happened hours ago. you could feel a change but you didn’t knew what beside the fact that you had chaos power now…

Tristan…

TRISTAN !!! KING MELIODAS !!!

oh my god they’re gonna kill me, but for real, I’m the queen of chaos now and I cannot run away this time. Arthur is not that mean too…

*knock knock*

shivers ran down you spine, you really wasn’t trusting the place. when you understood that you were in bra on your bed, sweating from the fever you had, you were about to get ready quickly but you didn’t had time to when someone said while entering my room.

“sorry but it’s urgent, I’m entering” the voice said when the door flew open and let you frozen on you bed, you outfit showing at least a half of your body…

“wait-“ you said as you saw Arthur in the corner of the door. SHIT. you couldn’t help but feel aroused you think… his gaze were on you eyes when it drifted to your body.

his gaze wasn’t shy but was needy I think… oh my… where did I put myself in ??

“sorry…, it’s urgent. are you feeling alright now ?” he said while approaching you, approaching??? you felt shivers down your whole body and heat growing on your face.

“w-wow what’s going on that is so urgent that you can’t wait for me to get dressed ?!”

he smirked and sat on your bed.

“the wedding is tomorrow, I need you to be ready and healthy, maids are on their way for your dress” he said totally not ashamed of staring at my body and face, like he didn’t saw me this close.

“okay ! now I think you can go pleas-“ you were about to protest when he sat on your bed and looked up at you with a grin, that makes your face heated.

Arthur was the king of chaos, but damn…he was the hottest man you ever saw.

Arthur cut you by saying “you know, tomorrow night is the wedding night. I want you to be relaxed around me…”

your eyes narrows and you said with a quite teasing tone “how could I ? you’re the king of chaos”

“am I that scary to you ? all I want is to protect Camelot and my peoples” he said as you saw a glimmer of sadness in his eyes, he was sincere.

“yeah, if you say so. now if you don’t mind, I need to get dressed, you’ll only see my body tomorrow night, mrs. can’t-wait” you smiled slightly at him, you found yourself gradually enjoying his company.

you won’t run off Camelot now, it’s too late…

hours passed as your maid got you ready, you found yourself happy in this wedding dress. you always wanted to be somehow a queen when you were little girl, a dream come true.

but you were queen of chaos, that wasn’t the same actually, but you’ll see later about that.

as the maid finished your get ready, you came up to the miror and gasped loudly. wow… you were dressed of a white dress of wedding with gold accent on it. your breast were highlighted by the push-up corset. gold jewellery going down perfectly on your neck and ears. your hairs are naturally down your back.

today was a very big day because you were getting married and crowned. your breath start to panick.

“your highness is alright ? how do you find yourself ?” a maid said softly. you took off the anxiety in your heart and took your role.

“im great and beautiful in this dress, now tell me when i need to go because the wedding is now” you said all blank of emotions and looked up to the maids.

“okay, follow me your highness” a maid said while getting out of the dressroom.

you followed her to a big door and you got told that everyone was there already and Arthur was waiting for you.

you took a deep breath when the big door opened. as everyone’s gaze was on you, you walked without looking anywhere but in front of you and Arthur.

Arthur gaze was on you with a lovely smile as he watches you walking.

when you arrived to the place the prayer started the long thing while you and Arthur were looking at each others with smiles.

“blessings and merry meet. Gentle lords and ladies, their bans having been published, we are here today to join the fair King Arthur and the Noble Lady Seria together.

They have asked you here to share in their joy, and to declare their love for one another before you as a community.”

the prayer turn to you and talked again

“Lady, are you here this day in pledged truth of your own free will and choices ?”

you replied softly without letting your eyes contact with Artur go.

“yes, father”

he turn now to Arthur and say

“King, are you here this day in pledged truth of your own free will and choices ?”

he replied without letting you eye contact and without hesitation

“yes, father”

“in as much as this Noble Lady and Fair King have pledged their troth to be married this day, we call upon Heaven to bless this union. Therefore if any one can show just cause, why they may not be joined together, by God's Law, or the Laws of the Realm; let them now speak, or else hereafter keep silent for all time.”

the silence was answering

the prayer turn to me and say

“Swear you now, on this sacred blade, that there is no reason known to you that this union should not proceed.”

you smiled and without letting go of your gaze on Arthur as you both made some smiles and chuckles

he turns to Arthur now and continue

“Is there any reason known to you why this partnership should not be made?”

he grin at you, with a lust and groaning voice he replies

“Heavenly Father, creator of all things both in heaven and Earth, we humbly ask thee to bless this union, may these thy servants seek goodness all the days of their lives, may they be strong in defense of what is right, may they be united as one even as the art with God.

May they be numbered amongst thy sheep. We humbly pray in the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit. AMEN”

he turn to me again before saying a big thing

“Do you Lady Seria take unto thyself as husband the fair King Arthur and pledge unto him before God and these witnesses to be his protector, defender and sure resort, to honor and sustain him, in sickness and in health, in fair and in foul, with all thy worldly powers, to cherish and forsaking all others, keep thee only unto him, so long as you both shall live?”

“I will”

your response was simple but to Arthur it was ecstasy. the prayer turn to Arthur

“ Do you fair King Arthur take unto thyself the Noble Lady Seria to be thy rightful lady Wife and Queen and pledge unto her before God and these witnesses to honor and cherish her, to cleave unto her, in sickness and in health, in fair and in foul, be his one true and lasting counselor and solace, and forsaking all other, keep thee only unto her, so long as ye both shall live?

“I will”

“Heavenly Father, bless these rings which Noble Lady Seria and Fair King Arthur have set apart to be visible signs of the inward and spiritual bond which unites their hearts. As they give and receive these rings, may they testify to the world of the covenant made between them.”

a little girl came up with the rings and let you took Arthur’s one before taking his hand gently and saying.

“Receive and wear this ring as a symbol of my trust, my respect and my love for you.”

and you put his ring slowly that fit perfectly to his finger.

he then grabbed your ring and took your hand and says

“This circle will now seal the vows of this marriage and will symbolize the purity and endlessness of their love.”

then four noble person came with cords, it was the ritual. you both joined hands and smiled at each other.

the first person place the cord around your both hands

“The first, the Burgundy cord to symbolize romance, partnership and happiness”

the the 2nd person place another one

“the Ivory cord which stands for peace, sincerity and devotion.”

the 3rd

“the gold cord which represents unity, prosperity and longevity.”

the 4th person now tie the cords together to signify the tying of the knot.

“As this knot is tied, so are your lives now bound. Woven into this cord, imbued into its very fibers, are all the hopes of thy friends and family, and of thyselves, for a new life together.”

he then talks a lot that makes me bored.

“With the fashioning of this knot you tie all the desires, dreams, love, and happiness wished here in this place to your lives for as long as love shall last.

In the joining of hands and the fashioning of a knot, so are your lives now bound, one to another.

By this cord you are thus now and forevermore bound to your vow.

May this knot remain tied for as long as love shall last. May this cord draw your hands together in love, never to be used in anger.

May the vows you have spoken never grow bitter in your mouths. As any child discovers when they are learning to tie their own shoes, the first move is to cross the ends.

he then remove the cords slowly.

“The hast pledged troth of the own free will and sworn upon the Sword, The hast exchanged rings and been bound together by the ritual of the cords.

May it be granted that what is done before the gods be not undone by man.”

the moment that makes you stressed was now happening : the kiss.

“Before I proclaim you joined the must kiss three times on cue.

Once for luck, Twice for Love and Thrice for Long life.

Arthur took your hand and approached him to your face and gently put his hand on your cheek. he then kissed you first time, it was magical, that was a long kiss that in your brain, made all your thoughts shut, you wanted to be his wife now. you put a hand gently on his shoulder to push him into the 2nd kiss. and then kissed a 3rd time before looking at him with a lovely smile.

“I now pronounce you Lady Seria and Fair King Arthur, Wife and Husband.”

The crowd applauded as you looked at each other with big smiles.

the maids changed you into the very traditional queen outfit, a long trail with fur on the collar of the dress. it was still white and gold. it really freaks you out because now you were alone on stage. Arthur was looking at you

you were on the church, everyone here, the Bible on your hand when you started the speech.

“Sir, to keep you ever mindful of the law and the Gospel of God as the Rule for the whole life and government of Queen, receive this Book, the most valuable thing that this world affords. Here is Wisdom; this is the royal Law; these are the lively Oracles of God.”

the prayer took the Bible and put it on the church.

“Our Majesty, the Church established by law, whose settlement you will swear to maintain, is committed to the true profession of the Gospel, and, in so doing, will seek to foster an environment in which people of all faiths and beliefs may live freely. The Coronation Oath has stood for centuries and is enshrined in law. Are you willing to take the Oath ?”

“I am willing”

I stand up look at the crowd and place my hand on the Bible.

“Will you solemnly promise and swear to govern the Peoples of Camelott, your other Realms and the Territories to any of them belonging or pertaining, according to their respective laws and customs?”

“I solemnly promise so to do.”

“Will you to your power cause Law and Justice, in Mercy, to be executed in all your judgements?”

“I will.”

you then kneel down at the Chair of Estate.

“Will you to the utmost of your power maintain the Laws of God and the true profession of the Gospel? Will you to the utmost of your power maintain in Camelott the Protestant Reformed Religion established by law? Will you maintain and preserve inviolably the settlement of the Church of Camelott, and the doctrine, worship, discipline, and government thereof, as by law established in Camelott?”

“And will you preserve unto the Bishops and Clergy of Camelott, and to the Churches there committed to their charge, all such rights and privileges as by law do or shall appertain to them or any of them?”

“All this I promise to do.”

I place my hand on the Bible again and say

“The things which I have here before promised, I will perform and keep. So help me God.”

i then kiss the Bible and the prayer say

“Your Majesty, are you willing to make, subscribe, and declare to the statutory Accession Declaration Oath?”

“I am willing.”

“I, Seria, do solemnly and sincerely in the presence of God profess, testify, and declare that I am a faithful Protestant, and that I will, according to the true intent of the enactments which secure the Protestant succession to the Throne, uphold and maintain the said enactments to the best of my powers according to law.”

I sign the copies of the Oaths, whilst the choir sings.

“Prevent us, O Lord, in all our doings with thy most gracious favour, and further us with thy continual help; that in all our works begun, continued, and ended in thee, we may glorify thy holy name, and finally by thy mercy obtain everlasting life; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.”

I then kneel again and the prayer say

“God of compassion and mercy whose Son was sent not to be served but to serve, give grace that I may find in thy service perfect freedom and in that freedom knowledge of thy truth. Grant that I may be a blessing to all thy children, of every faith and belief, that together we may discover the ways of gentleness and be led into the paths of peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.”

the prayer take the crown and put it on my head and I stood up and take the scepter.

“I declare you Queen of Camelott !”

and the full crowd applause and say things like “glory to the Queen !!”

I smiled and looked at Arthur, this is not that bad actually.
