#seto kentaro x you
Note
the boys teasing Hanamiya for liking a girl one that you wrote earlier,,,, IT IS AMAZING,,,, SO CUTE,,, I LOVE IT,,, CHEF KISS MUA ,,, will there 👉🏻👈🏻 will there be a continuation where the boys find out he likes the girl and tried to help him get her
p1 here
Hara says Hanamiya likes you.
Hara also says that if you buried a berry underground, it would become a tuber and grow into one big berry with roots, which just goes to show that no one should listen to a word that guy says.
And, given that Hanamiya knows that that’s not how berries work, and especially given that Hanamiya has no interest in recalling the moment he called you cute (you, a mere acquaintance - no, less than that, a fellow student, or, even less familiar: a stranger who just so happens to attend the same school and the same classes as he does), Hanamiya elects to ignore every single word that comes out of Hara’s mouth.
The problem really begins when Matsumoto, a guy who makes a point of never kidding, strolls into practice one afternoon and says, “you’re not dating that girl in chemistry are you, Hanamiya?”
Hanamiya pauses from where he’s been jogging on the spot. “Are you kidding? What the fuck are you on about now?”
Yamazaki sniggers. With an impish grin, He passes a ball to Hara.
“It’s not that deep,” sighs Matsumoto, rolling his eyes, “I just heard her talking to her friends about you. The way she was talking - it sounded like the two of you were together.”
“Well, we’re not”.
The way Hanamiya frowns as he says that, looking distinctly preteen and faintly pink in the cheeks, makes even Matsumoto struggle to contain his smile. Everyone sees the way his lips just part, then slam shut, as he fights the impulse to ask what you had been saying.
And things get worse for the captain. Furuhashi catches him watching you during gym class - the excuse is that he’s pondering the feasibility of a female basketball team. One evening as Seto prepares to walk home with Hanamiya, he becomes privy to you thanking the man for his help in the most recent chemistry assignment. Surprising for two reasons, in Seto’s mind: a) how stupid were you to need help with that assignment, and b) since when had Hanamiya, king of enjoying people struggle over things he finds easy, been helping others with homework? It can’t be that you’ve blackmailed him, that much is for sure. So it has to be…
“Love,” declares Hara.
Matsumoto rolls his eyes - against his will, he is attending this If-Hanamiya-Gets-A-Girlfriend-He’ll-Stop-Making-Zaki&Me-Do-Laps meeting. His misfortune is in having done some group work with you last year, and thus in having your phone number.
“It’s a crush,” he corrects.
“Who cares? It’s enough for us to have some fun with.”
…That’s the level of care with which Hara has decided to approach the delicate operation of getting Hanamiya a girlfriend.

Sore Loser (Seto)
Seto Kentaro x Reader
Warning: Words & Suggestive Content
A sore loser takes his anger out on you when he loses to Kirisaki Daiichi.
Tumblr media
“There she is...”
You were completely unaware of all the attention you were receiving from across the hall. Your eyes were solely fixed on the tall figure before you. His slicked-back hair a sign that he had been called on by Hanamiya today.
“Sorry I missed it was hard getting time off work.” You pushed your hair back over your shoulder in an attempt to placate your wild locks. They had gone through significant turmoil as you rushed and ran the last few blocks.
“You should quit,” Hanamiya bluntly suggested. He wasn’t a fan of overachieving students like you who tried their best to the point of exhaustion.
His blunt statements no longer fazed you. Ignoring him completely, you strode past him to attach yourself to the owner of your heart. He was warm and sweaty but you could care less. The sight of his slightly exhausted face made you want to take him back to your place for a nap.
Seto comfortably leaned into you, his hand resting on the small of your back. His lips gently pressing against your forehead in the usual gentle greeting ritual that was a stark contrast to his appearance.
“You should have gone straight home.”
It wasn’t that he didn’t appreciate your presence, rather he was worried knowing how hard they worked you at your part-time job.
“I wanted to cheer for you.”
Hara pointed out you were still in your uniform which did nothing for him, unlike your usual short school uniform skirt. “Shouldn’t you wear something sexier to raise our spirits?”
The comment earned him a glare and click of your tongue. You knew “I don’t give a f*ck about your spirit.”
Unbeknownst to you, the opposing team was grumbling as they glanced in your direction. A couple of them scowled feeling a sense of misplaced anger towards you who they had seen several times cheering on their cheating rival. Their captain instructed everyone to get over the loss and get ready to leave.
A few of the younger members didn’t agree with him. They thought they had a duty to look out for their seniors. They wanted to do something about the injustice they faced.
“I’ll be waiting outside.” You let go of Seto’s hand so he could follow the guys into the locker room. The night was relatively warm but the cool breeze made up for it. It was ideal idling around weather.
You leisurely walked with your phone in hand, mindlessly scrolling through social media until you got to a bench behind the gymnasium that was empty. It never crossed your mind to take a look around so you were legitimately startled when someone called your name.
“Y/N-”
A guy with light brown hair sat beside you on your left while a blonde took the right seat. One look at their uniform was all you needed to know why they were here. This wasn’t your first time being approached by guys from other schools. It was your experience that told you it was best to avoid them.
“That’s your name right?” His eyes roamed to your chest where your nametag gave away that he was indeed correct.
You got up to leave but only took a few steps when the light haired guy quickly caught up blocking your way and nearly making you bump into him. You took a step back only to bump into his friend.
“What the f*ck do you want?”
They were both slightly taken back by your language, not expecting the expletive.
“You’re that guy’s girlfriend right?”
“That’s none of your business-” when you took a step to the side they followed.
“That guy hurt our captain’s shoulder. Coach said he might be out for the rest of the season.”
Honestly you weren’t in favor of the tricks or their manipulative plays. After watching for so long you were desensitized to their behavior. It was beyond you to feel their pain. Instead you celebrated Seto’s victory.
You sighed.
“Listen, talking to me isn’t going to change anything so back off and go home.” You looked back to his friend making sure they knew you were talking to both of them.
This time when you tried to leave the light haired guy held onto your arm and tightly pulled you back. The quick motion caught you off-guard for a moment causing you to crash into him.
The moment was all seen by Seto who had been looking for you. He didn’t know what their business was with you and he didn’t care. All he knew was what he saw.
“Oh they better run,” Hara taunted with laughter when he saw Seto walk faster than he has ever before. “Should we watch?”
Hanamiya didn’t even stop to look. “What’s the point, it’ll be over the moment they see him.” He knew physical violence was unnecessary for such a scary looking guy like him.
Those first years were nothing but benchwarmers. They had only seen Seto from afar, failing to recognize how overpowering the army of one could be. As soon as he came up to them he pried the unknown guy’s hand off of you with no effort.
You happily joined his side now that they could no longer stand in your way. When you reached for his hand Seto noticed a bruise forming on your wrist.
“Did they do this to you?”
The guys took a step back, their faces a mix of anger and frustration. “We did nothing compared to you. Our captain’s shoulder is probably broken-”
“So?” He caught them off with one word. Then ignored them for a moment to grab his jacket out of his bag when he felt the wind pick up. He draped it over your shoulders to ensure your warmth.
“Better?”
You nodded appreciating his attention to detail.
His lips curved up at the sight of his oversized jacket on you. It was gone in an instant when he turned his attention back to the offenders.
“Don’t come near her again,” Seto’s voice seemed deeper when he warned them. “If you have a problem with me then you come to me.”
The guys had to stretch their necks to look at him. The height difference was enough of a threat, however these two knew Kirisaki Daiichi would deliver on their threats on or off the court.
“Whatever, let’s go.”
“That’s no fun,” Hara booed when he saw them leave with their tails between their legs.
You leaned on Seto to take your shoe off and throw it at Hara. The bubble-popping weirdo caught it despite your wishes to have it hit him.
“Don’t mind him,” Seto picked you up and carried you over to Hara to retrieve your shoe. He took a hold of it and continued to walk home with you in his arms.
“I can walk.”
“It’s faster this way.”
You didn’t mind the stares but you wondered where this burst of energy came from. Usually after games he lazily leaned on you the entire walk home. When he walked past your home and into his you only gave him a look of confusion.
“From now on you aren’t allowed to leave my side.”
“We literally live next door to each other.”
He nodded in understanding but, “No one is home.” He couldn’t leave you to fend for yourself again. From now on he had to pay closer attention to your safety.
He brought you to his room and finally set you down.
You were touched by his sudden overprotective behavior brought on by today’s incident. “I’m fine Ken-kun” you brought him over to sit on his bed. With him seated you stood in front of him, between his legs, now able to meet his eyes. “I’m actually pretty tough, you know?”
“I know,” his arms wrapped around you. “I still worry.”
“I know,” you copied his monotonous response. A giggle erupted at his stern look. “Thank you for worrying.”
At this height you were better able to kiss him, so you did. First it was a peck on the forehead then on the lips.
But a peck wasn’t enough.
Seto held you closer as he captured your lips. The two of you kissed in the silence of his home forgetting the whole ordeal. When it got intense he fell back onto his fluffy bed bringing you along on top of him.
One thing you loved about your boyfriend was his passion for rest. Since he loved to sleep, his bed was always well-maintained. He kept the sheets clean, invested in a good mattress, and pillows.
“Oh,” you smirked playfully. “I thought you wanted me to rest?”
“Rest after.”
-end-
A/N: Thank you for encouraging me to write this one and hopefully I’ll get to Hanamiya too ^^

Kiridai vs Among Us
And what kind of players they are. Super super self-indulgent since Among Us has been a recent addiction of mine(and part of why I haven’t posted recently). In order of Most likely to Least likely to play (I kept shifting around Yama, Hara, and Hanamiya, and i’m still not sure of the order still)
Most Likely to Play
Hara Kazuya
Color choices: Cyan, Purple, Yellow/Black
Role Preference: Imposter >>> Crewmate
A player with “that” kind of username (junior-high humor, if you know you know)
The kind that leaves right away if he’s not the imposter, or leaves right after getting killed as a crewmate
Tends to self-report as an imposter, but uses it strategically Actually pretty convincing at pointing the finger at others. Even when he is a crewmate and he knows the person he’s accusing is innocent. Laughs when the innocent player gets voted out.
Would definitely say  “How do I vent like x color?” in chat
More so plays to mess around, but he is actually pretty decent at the game when he takes it a tiny more seriously, imposter wise.
When he is imposter, he utilizes the lights sabotage the most. Stack kills are used a lot too.
If he sets up his own room, he’ll set the lighting to the lowest, since it’s more interesting.
As I’m typing this, I realize I picture Hara as the exact kind of Among Us player that I hate
Yamazaki Hiroshi
Color choices: Red, Orange, Lime
Role Preference: Crewmate >>>> Imposter
Was reluctant to play since it looked weird, but he finally gave it a try after seeing it everywhere, and seeing the premise,  and got hooked.
A terrible imposter, we know Yama is not good at schemes. You have to be witty to be a good imposter.
The kind of imposter who gets caught right away. Either caught in the act, seen venting, or a terrible liar.
But as a crewmate, Yama has a good time. Get excited when he gets a visual task.
Played it enough times to the point he pretty much speedruns his tasks.
Enjoys the buddy-up system and will back up someone if he knows for a fact they’re innocent.
Does stick around if he gets killed and does his tasks still (like a good bb). Also so he can see the outcome.
Has trouble choosing who to vote for, unless it's like REALLY REALLY obvious who it is. Tends to just choose to skip. Can get easily swayed by the others’ words.
Tends to play in the same room over and over again, as long as he can. Gets a tiny bit sad knowing he’ll likely never see the other players again, since he had a good time with these strangers. May or may not exchange info with some of them.
Hanamiya Makoto
Color choices: Black, Dark Green, White
Role Preference: Imposter >>> Crewmate
SUCH A GOOD IMPOSTER
Mainly plays in single imposter games
On the flip side, a good crewmate as well. Co-op games aren’t really his thing though, so it's not as enjoyable as being imposter.  Prefers working alone cause the other players can be useless to him. Good at deducing who is the imposter, or keeping an eye on everyone or the vents. Memorizes who he passed by and where.
Sometimes if he figures out who the imposter is, especially early on, he’ll purposely let them go. The idea of the imposter thinking they’re getting away with it and may win, only for Hanamiya to expose them with all of the evidence he gathered, excites him.
However if he is the imposter, he will use the buddy system well to gain someone’s trust, and enjoys seeing their shocked reaction when they learn he is the imposter or one of them.
If he sets up his own room, he turns off visual tasks, since those usually prove someone’s innocence right away. Players have to prove their innocence better than that.
Will leave if he is killed, but usually survives if he is a crewmate.
Would never admit that he ended up staying up really late playing.
Furuhashi Kojiro
Color choices: Black, Blue, Dark Green
Role Preference: Imposter > Crewmate (doesn’t really have a heavy preference)
A quiet player, doesn't really contribute much to chat, if not necessary.
Only uses visual tasks for when there is a witness
An average imposter, tends to win more via sabotages (the reactor or oxygen)
Doesn’t like the buddy-system, since he can’t trust anybody. Not to mention it makes the game boring when there’s only a few players left, and so the imposter wouldn’t be able to do anything really. Same when he is the imposter.
Sticks around even when he is killed, since he kinda enjoys the secret chat box for the ghosts. Doesn’t mind talking crap about the dense living players. Doesn’t really do his tasks though.
The game really isn’t his thing though so won’t really get too invested in it. A day or two of it would suffice before it gets repetitive.
Seto Kentaro
Color choices: Brown, White, Black
Role Preference: Crewmate >> Imposter
Prefers figuring out who the imposter is
Would be a good imposter though, utilizes the sabotages effectively and efficiently.
Will most likely leave if he is killed off
Doesn’t contribute much to chat, but when he does, he brings up good points.
Quits the game after a few rounds cause he got annoyed at how hopelessly stupid and immature the other players are.

‘60 days’ of Voltage updated
I did a 60 days of Voltage challenge thing like 4 years ago, but I thought I’d update it since I’ve read a lot more since then.  I’m not doing it in 60 days though, and I removed/changed some questions.  Like the one about GREE, not even sure if its still a thing lol, yeah hi I’ve been in the fandom for a while.
Favorite guy(s)?
Takuto Hirukawa, Takao Maruyama, Chiharu Utsumi, Makoto Morimachi, Araya Kuze, Kyobashi Katsuyuki, and Shintaro Ando…in that order…maybe, I really can’t decide.
My first favorite was either Takuto or Takao, so even if they aren’t #1 they’ll always hold a special place in my heart for being my first Voltage husbands
The guy(s) you thought you’d dislike before reading their route?
Roberto Button, Koichi Natsukawa, Asahi Kakyoin, Hiro Sarashina, and Rihito Hatsune to name a few.
Least favorite guy(s)?
I haven’t disliked any character that I’ve played, yet.
However IF I had to pick Hiro Sarashina, Asahi Kakyoin, and Satoru Kamagari are the ones I like the least out of all the routes I’ve read so far.
NPC(s) who need their own route?
Tsukishiro from Our Private Homeroom!  At least give him a sub story…it could be like Chiharu Utsumi’s Forbidden Route which branches off of Shinichi Kagari’s route.
Your favorite…
Tsundere guy?  Takuto Hirukawa Flirty guy?  Kiyoto Makimura Unrequited love?  Shohei Aiba Childhood friend?  Makoto Morimachi Alpha guy?  Genji Higashiyama Sadistic guy?  Kyobashi Katsuyuki Stoic guy?  Keiichiro Minase Funny guy?  Shintaro Ando Sweet guy?  Takao Maruyama Yandere guy?  Araya Kuze Old guy?  Jinpachi Yushima, hahahaha… Mature guy?  Chiharu Utsumi (he’s mature for his age...sort of...sometimes...once or twice...hahahaha)
Favorite guy from…
(Games I’ve played every character’s season 1 main story)
Serendipity Next Door?  Shinobu Narita
Favorite guy from…
(Games I’ve played at least 50% of all character’s season 1 main story)
10 Days with My Devil?  Shiki Kurobane Bad Boys Do It Better?   Keiichiro Minase Be My Princess?   Keith Alford Dreamy Days in West Tokyo? Haruki Tanemura Enchanted in the Moonlight?   Samon Finally, in Love Again?   Sosuke Kikuchi In Your Arms Tonight?  Kiyoto Makimura Kiss of Revenge?  Kyosuke Narumi Love Letter from Thief X?  Takuto Hirukawa Metro PD Close to you?  Kyobashi Katsuyuki My Forged Wedding?  Takao Maruyama My Last First Kiss?  Makoto Morimachi My Wedding and 7 Rings?  Seiichirou Hayami Our Private Homeroom?  Shuya Komaki Our Two Bedroom Story?  Shusei Hayakawa Pirates in Love?  Nagi
Favorite guy from…
(Games I’ve played at least 2 character’s season 1 main story)
After School Affairs?  Chiharu Utsumi Celebrity Darling?  Shinnosuke Ichijo First Love Diaries?  Nao Fujimori Kiss Me on Clover Hill?  Shoichi Kiyota Kissed by the Baddest Bidder?  Mamoru Kishi My Sweet Bodyguard?  Hideki Ishigami Office Secrets?  Shingo Kai True Love Sweet Lies? Naomasa Sakura When Destiny Comes Knocking?  Shintaro Ando
Favorite guy from…
(Games I’ve played only 1 character’s season 1 main story, but don’t let that fool you I really like these stories)
Be My Princess 2? Maximillion Levaincois Destind: Mr. Almost Right?  Araya Kuze (my will power is apparently super easy to break...but Araya is the best...If I can romance a childhood friend yandere character then I will apparently throw away my morals hahahaha) Diary of a Step-Sister?  Masaki Saionji Love Brings You Home?  Hazuki Tojo In Your Arms Tonight 2?   Kazuya Seto Sakura Admist Chaos?  Yukimura Sanada Seduced in the Sleepless City?  Chihaya Koda
Favorite guy from…
(Games I haven’t played yet, so these are the ones I think will be my favorite…)
A Knight’s Devotion?  Ken A World With(out) You?  No one (Kotaro Kamiyama if I had to pick?) Butler Until Midnight?  Tomoki Matsuba Campus Romance 101?  Kaneto Fujimuro Class Trip Crush?  Hajime Shindo Codename: Cupid?  Motoharu Kotani Dangerous Seduction? Kentaro Inui Era of Samurai Code of Love?  Soji Okita Exclusively Yours: An Office Affair? Arata Osaka Forget Me Not, My Love?  Kenshin Shiota Kings of Paradise?   Yosuke Sagara Her Love in the Force?  Seiji Goto Irresistible Mistakes?  Natsume Asaoka Masquerade Kiss?  No one (Kei Soejima if I had to pick?) My Lady Juliet?  Haruto Miyake Tokyo Love Hustle?  Suzuki Mado or Harushige Chiluba if I had to pick?) Oops, I said yes?!?  Shu Hasunuma Professional Boyfriend?  Ikki Tatsumi Romance MD: Always On Call?   No one (Tetsuya Hosho if I had to pick?) Rose in the Embers?   Kyosuke Takatsukasa Scandal in the Spotlight? Iori Enjyo Star-Crossed Myth?  Karno Wanted: Romance Renegades? Shinji Ayano
Do your favorites have a trend in their appearance?  Their personalities?
I think it’s no secret that I like the black hair bespectacled and suit look.  As for personalities, I see a mix of tsunderes and childhood friends.
I’d have to go full spreadsheet mode, which tbh kind of sounds like fun, but I have a hypothesis that characters with similar personalities will have similar appearances.  It could just be a quirk of how Voltage styles their characters.
Favorite MC?  Least favorite MC?
I don’t really notice bad or good MCs.  I think either I’m just really good at immersing myself into the role of the trope filled naive MC, or I’m just too laissez-faire to get bothered by it. I’ve thought about it and I do have a few favorite MCs: Our Private Homeroom, Metro PD Close to You, Dreamy Days in West Tokyo, When Destiny Comes Knocking, and Destind: Mr. Almost Right.
Sakura Amidst Chaos, Celebrity Darling, and Be My Princess’ MCs come to mind as my least favorite MCs.
Best route(s)?
See the ‘Favorite guy from…’ section.
Worst route(s)?
Hiro Sarashina’s route isn’t BAD, but the progression of the romance felt weird to me like it all of a sudden skipped a step.  If you hadn’t noticed yet I have lots of mixed feelings about Hiro lol…
I think Yamato Kougami’s My Wedding and 7 Rings route was ehhhh.  It would have been a great story if they just left the twist out.  Just FYI his My Forged Wedding route is MUCH better.
Most realistic route(s)?
Realistic?  Uh…I dunno man, I romance guys in video games what do I know.
Saddest route(s)?
Sad?  We don’t tolerate sad stories in this household.  I like a few angsty plot points here and there, but I’m not about overly sad stories.
Happiest route(s)?
All of them?  My Forged Wedding and Dreamy Days in West Tokyo are pretty packed full of fluff.  I’ve read almost all of the main stories from these games, so I can confidently say that if you want a happy story play those.
First Voltage game?
My Forged Wedding or Love Letter from Thief X I believe.  I found Voltage probably mid to late 2012, when I was 17.
I played some of the GREE games, but I just didn’t like the story tickets and checkpoints system…that’s why I stopped playing visual novels from other companies like Arithmetic, NTT Solmare, etc.  I miss Starstruck Love lol.
Favorite Voltage game?
In terms of overarching plot…
Dreamy Days in West Tokyo, Diary of a Step-Sister, In Your Arms Tonight, In Your Arms Tonight 2, Kiss Me on Clover Hill, Kiss of Revenge, Kissed by the Baddest Bidder, Love Letter from Thief X, My Forged Wedding, My Sweet Bodyguard, Our Private Homeroom, Our Two Bedroom Story, Serendipity Next Door, and When Destiny Comes Knocking are my favorites.
You could say I like the student life and slice-of-life genres haha.
But I’m pretty sure My Forged Wedding’s plot is my absolute favorite.
Least favorite Voltage game?
Any game that the main stories are Love Choice.  Also games with the story tickets and checkpoint system.  I need to be able to read at my own pace.
Of the games I have played?  Sakura Amidst Chaos maybe.  I guess I like modern stories more.
Games you haven’t played, but want to?
Butler Until Midnight and Class Trip Crush.
Games you haven’t played, but only have a lukewarm desire to play?
A Knight’s Devotion, Scandal in the Spotlight, Star Crossed Myth, and Codename: Cupid.
Games you haven’t played, and will probably only play when the stars align?
Dangerous Seduction, Era of Samurai Code of Love, Her Love in the Force, Irresistible Mistakes, Kings of Paradise, and Rose in the Embers.
Games you’ll NEVER play?
Tokyo Love Hustle (which sucks because the music and art are really great), A World With(out) You, Masquerade Kiss, and Destind Mr. Almost Right*…at least until ‘Love Choice’ is not a thing anymore, although tbh they don’t interest me even were they not Love Choice…
I also don’t have any plans to play the PARTY or Liar! games…even if they did migrate to the Love 365 app.
*yea I fucked that one up...but I did it for my love Araya and what are morals anyway?  I used hearts I had saved up from the previous daily wheel, it’s not like I spent money on it!
Favorite special/sub story/spinoff story?
Seduced in the Sleepless City’s Castaways, In Your Arms Tonight’s Baby Trouble?!, and all the His POVs are my favorites!
In Your Arms Tonight’s Another Story for Shohei and Genji were…really good!  I just needed to see them suffer a little bit with the MC not divorcing Koichi at the beginning…sorry not sorry.
Favorite epilogue, sequel, season n# story?
I’m slowly running out of Season 1 Main Stories I want to read, so I’ve started to branch out for my most beloved characters.
The formation of the relationship is really the most exciting part of the story for me, but for some characters maybe it’ll be nice to see the entire relationship from start to finish.
What plots, genres, themes, characters, etc. do you want to see in the future?
I really want the Japanese only titles to be translated…
Kimi o Aisu Nandodemo* and Hana Yori Dango ~F4 to Fāsutokisu~…for sure I would love to play.
*Kimi o Aisu Nandodemo aka Forget Me Not, My Love WAS TRANSLATED!!  It looks like Voltage has been bringing a lot of titles over, I’m not sure if they’re translating every title in the japanese app to english (I hope they do)...I’m just really excited!
As for totally new IPs…
Something sci-fi?  Time travel?  More love triangles?  More student-teacher relationships?  Villain romanceable characters?  MCs who are nerdy, tomboys, athletic, cynical, or antisocial?  GENDER BENDERS???  OH MY GOD.  Do I love any plot more than ‘Girl dresses up as a boy to be in an all-boys school’?  NO I DON’T.
There is only one thing that could top a gender bender……Yandere.
I doubt Voltage’s yanderes would be as dark or extreme as I like my yanderes, but… just take Kazuya Seto and Luke Foster (who I’ve heard is yandere-like, I’ll have to check it out someday) and just turn it up to eleven.
...Araya Kuze is a yandere...a soft yandere to be sure but he’s definitely the closest of all the characters I’ve seen.  He’s just...*chef kiss*
Things that Voltage should improve on?
Love Choice.  GET RID OF IT.  The main appeal of Voltage for me is the ownership of the stories.  Once you purchase the story…it’s yours.  Read it at your leisure, however many times you want, forever.
More stories where the endings are not just Super Happy, Happy, Neutral, Good, or Bad endings.  Potentially splitting the story paths up more than just different endings, although it could be done with separate stories I guess.
This is just my opinion, but most of the new games and new stories coming out are too focused on being ‘adult’ and sexual.  I just don’t come to Voltage for smut.  I’m here for romance, story, and relationship development which yes can include sex, but I’d almost prefer if it just faded to black instead of playing the 'how many different ways can we describe Eisuke thrusting into the MC’ game.

aftermath of manager betraying the boys p4
part 1 here, 2 here, 3 here
It’s Friday. She’s about to leave home for her afternoon shift at the bookshop, slipping her shoes on just as the door swings open.
“Honey, I’m home!” Her husband of one year tosses his rucksack to the side, and wraps his arms around her waist, “have a nice day at work, yeah?”
Leaning into his embrace, she turns her head to kiss his cheek, “you need to stop acting like you’re in a sitcom.”
Then, quietly, knowing how much he hates the topic, she adds, “how was the physio?”
“Fine.”
One final kiss to her forehead and he walks away with the limp he’s had ever since Yamazaki’s foot made contact with his spine. He can’t play judo anymore. He sees a physio once a week, and yet there’s been barely any progress since the appointments began. He was a man whose motto was “push through the pain”, but you can’t push through chronic pain. A man who lived for judo, and now all he lives for is his pain meds in the morning.
(And she never snitched. Gentleman than he is, he didn’t push her, but he wanted her to. He said that if they told on Hanamiya and his gang, they’d be expelled and she wouldn’t have to worry anymore.
“Look at what happened when you told the headmaster about their behaviour on the court,” he had said.
But she was looking at it. She is still looking at it, remembers it every day, every time she looks at him and his limp. And so, she had sworn to break up with him if he ever dared to snitch.
God she’s vicious. Undeserving. Hanamiya was right.
——
Excluding a group of children who screamed her ears off over a new instalment of some shoujo manga, her shift passes without a hitch. Outside, it’s dark and dreary. Drizzle batters the windows. But the shop itself is cosy, more so when you’re at the counter in a thick jumper. With one hand, she’s updating the shop’s blog on next week’s offers. With the other, she’s bringing her thermos of hot chocolate to her lips. It’s a lovely evening, with no customers to bother her. And, in just one hour, she’ll be on her way home, and Friday’s are movie nights.
“Excuse me, ma’am, could you direct me to the crime section?”
She hadn’t heard anyone enter. She flinches at the sound of a voice.
“Yes, it’s just on-“ she looks up. Pauses.
It’s not fear, it’s not dread that flits across her face: it’s horror.
How ironic. This was all because she snitched on them, but Seto must have told them where she worked.
In their first year of high school, she and Seto sat together in almost all their classes. Any group projects, they did together. Lunches, they spent together. His being there was the main reason she’d agreed to being the team’s manager. And, until the very end, when she was walking to the headmaster’s office with that damning USB in her skirt pocket, she’d still been thinking that Seto was a good guy. Yes, he’d ignored the hostility the team spewed - but that made him guilty of apathy, not cruelty, right?
It took hearing him laugh as he watched the others beat her boyfriend up for her to realise that he was just like the rest of them: entertained by violence.
Why she’d thought he’d keep his promise - when she asked him not to tell anyone where she worked - even she didn’t know.
“Ma’am, you still there?”
Hanamiya leans over the desk, and grins at her. It’s been six years since they last saw each other. He’s a little taller now, dressed far more formally than he used to be (black suit, sleeves cuffed, and a long black coat like the Grim Reapear), and his tone is formal though relaxed - but that big Hanamiya grin hasn’t changed.
There’s no one else in the shop. Yet, even if there was, this situation would always feel like Her-and-Hanamiya.
“The crime section, yes,” she shoves her hand below the desk so he can’t see them shaking, “take the stairs over there. The crime section will be on the other end of the basement.”
“You know, my eyesight’s not great. How about-“
“Fuck off.”
The grin slips off his lips.
He straightens his back, looks around - looks at each and every CCTV camera on the floor - then turns back to her.
“What would your boss think, if he knew you were a) speaking so rudely to a customer and b) refusing to support a customer with an eye disease. I have glaucoma, don’t you know?”
He’s a cunt. He’s a lying fucking cunt. He’s a disgusting piece of shit, whom her mother adored. She insisted that Hanamiya was a good sort, based on how kindly he helped her around the house when the team would stay the night. She with her glaucoma, that she fought with so valiantly until she died of a heart attack. Hanamiya knows she’s dead. The whole team attended the funeral with their beloved manager, letting her cry on their shoulders, holding her hand, offering her tissues. Hara even completed her memorial speech for her when she couldn’t.
And Hanamiya also would tell her boss about her behaviour. He’d tell the tale in such a way there’d be no arguing with him; her boss would fall in love him with, and she’d be unemployed by the end of the day.
For someone who warned her what happens to snitches, with her now husband’s blood across his palms, he sure is comfortable with being a snitch himself.
So she gets up slowly, holding onto her chair as tight as she can, so her fist doesn’t make contact with Hanamiya’s mouth. Steps away from the desk. And, keeping her eyes fixed in front of her, committed to ignoring him, walks towards the stairs with Hanamiya in tow.
“We should hang out sometime,” natters on Hanamiya, “reminisce the good old days. How’s that bloke of yours? Are you still with him after we… redecorated his ugly mug? Not that there was much to like originally. You were just desperate.”
“Don’t talk about him like that,” she snaps. she’s fair game, but her lover is the only good thing in this world, the only sun shining.
Hanamiya continues. “If you were so desperate for some male attention, we could have pimped you out to someone. There was no need to cause such a fuss just to get some judo moron to sleep with you. Does he even sleep with you? Back in the day, it was the male students who got along best with him, wasn’t it? Big fan of the male first years-“
She can’t bite her tongue any longer.
“You’re grown ass adults now,” she spits. “Just because you’re realising you peaked in high school, and the rest of your lives will be spent as angry depressed salarymen in shitty marriages with angry depressed kids, doesn’t meant you need to take it out on me.”
Hanamiya pauses, as if surprised - or mock surprised. As she turns the corner to the crime section, she hears wolf-whistling and applause.
“She’s still got it,” says Hara, referencing the times the team used to perform rap battles while watching each other practise shooting.
She won everytime. She was the “rap battle queen”, and when she got a 3-pointer from the bench, after coming up with a lethal bar about Matsumoto’s hair - or lack of - she was deemed the queen of the team full stop. Those were the good days. Yamazaki, ceasing to clap, has a solemn look in his gaze like he’s thinking the same thing.
The rant has given her some more confidence. Even knowing that the crime section is the only part of the bookstore that has no cameras on it, and that that’s probably why they chose it, she still feels better. They can’t do their worst in a public location. And it’s only forty minutes until she can close up shop, head to the local police station, only a five minute walk away, and tell them that she’s being followed by an obsessive boyfriend and his friends, could she please stay at the station till they walk away. As long as they don’t find out her current address, or anything about her husband, she’ll be alright.
Thirty-nine minutes now.
“It really has been a while.” Before she can think to push him away, Hara wraps his arms around her, his weight pressing her into the corner, and whispers in her ear, “I missed you, you know?”
“Leave her be, Hara,” Yamazaki sighs.
“Jealous much,” replies Hara, but he does let go, adding, “you’ve put on weight. No more basketball to keep you fit, ey? I was the same way for a bit. After you happened.”
38 minutes. Just 16 two minutes left to go.
“You know, you’re the reason Zaki didn’t get to his first choice university. Because you gave him a record.”
“Sucks to be him,” she retorts, just as Yamazaki mumbles, quietly,
“That’s not true. My parents sorted it out.”
“But it could have been true,” interjects Hara, “which is why someone should be showing more remorse.”
Hara hasn’t changed, that much is clear. He argues with the same pointless, childish, circular arguments that he’s had since he was in high school, whose logic never had to make much sense as long as he had it in his mind that he was superior to whoever he was arguing with. Even his hair colour hasn’t changed. And these stupid remarks now aren’t much different to the times he would pull her ear or punch her in the arm. Time has killed much of the malice he used to have towards her, leaving nothing but that same demand for attention. Plus - a confusion as to why he wants that attention, like a bully who targets their crush.
Had she not snitched, would she have ended up like this too - forever trying to return to the days of high school? Or was it because she snitched that the rest of them got stuck in the time loop, clinging onto the life they lived before they realised they weren’t above the law?
There’s no juvenile laws to protect them anymore. Plus she doubts that their parents would be happy to get them out of trouble, now that they’re adults who’ve been given everything they need to have a successful future. They’re not going to hurt her, really hurt her, in a situation where they could face the consequences; they must know she’ll go straight to the police.
They can’t hurt her but they also can’t leave her be.
With this in mind, she starts to speak.
“When I said I did it for your sakes, I meant it. It wasn’t from the moral high ground that you perceived it to be. I genuinely meant it. You’ll never know how many times I thought about throwing away the USB and carrying on as if the team’s - our team’s - behaviour was normal. I barely slept for the nights leading up to that final day, and I barely slept afterwards. To this day, part of me feels guilty. I threw up in the headmaster’s office when I showed him the clips. He thought it was because I was so disgusted - but it wasn’t. It was just, when you watched the videos,” her voice cracks, “you could tell we were all friends. I was watching those videos thinking what a horrible person I was to betray you all like that. I was-“
She takes a shaky breath. Her eyes are burning as she fights the urge to cry.
No one else speaks.
“The worst part of it is, I was never planned on doing it. I started recording during practice, after matches, whatever, because I wanted to make a film of us. I was going to present it to you all at the end of our third year, as a memento of our time together.
But the more time I spent editing, the more I realised what you - we - were really like. We were so cruel. I’d never realised it until I was watching us as pixels on a screen. God, the things we said - honing in on people’s physical weaknesses, with no respect for the actual game, and ignoring the fact people could actually be crippled for life thanks to one stupid basketball match. Jokes about beating people up for fun that became actually beating people up for fun. Comments on how you’d make people pay for going against you, that got increasingly explicit and violent over the course of the year. Or that time a guy yelled at me after a match, and you were with me, Zaki, you overheard. Yes, he shouldn’t have called me a bitch - but you could have killed him if Seto hadn’t showed up to help me pull you off him. What future would you have had then?
The entire fucking team was edging closer to doing something that would be in your records for the rest of your lives. Practice after school was less about basketball and more about honing this pack mentality where all that mattered was violence with no consequences. What I showed the headmaster was the mild stuff. I deleted the really incriminating bits, like Furuhashi holding a knife to someone's throat to school, or Hara waterboarding one of the health committee kids.
We didn’t need any of that. Hanamiya, with your brains, you could have developed any sort of team, you could have learnt any skill you wanted. Why did you have to pick hurting people? Kiridai could have been a really good, genuinely good basketball team. You guys were all so talented!”
Tears fall to the carpet as she stares down at the floor, her fists clenched, her voice growing quiet.
“And I loved every moment I spent with you all. I loved every single one of you. I loved pre-match prep, running around an unknown school to figure out where the toilets were, scouting out opponents in stupid disguises, playing streetball at dawn in an area I would never have felt confident to walk around with you there, or team sleepovers at my house where we’d fall asleep together on the sofa. I still dream of you all now, and I wake up crying, knowing that I was the one who ruined it. I’m sorry.” She looks them each in the eyes as she says this; her voice is loud again, and resolute, “I’m sorry. I was naive, I was self-righteous, and I ruined everything.
I’m really fucking sorry.”
She wipes the tears off her face one final time, and says, “The shop will be closing soon. Hanamiya, I directed you to the crime section as requested. If you want to make any purchases, I’ll be at the counter but please make them in the next twenty minutes. Thank you.”
She walks away.
No one calls her back.

i'm glad people enjoyed the previous parts, especially enjoyed seeing different viewpoints on what this final(?) part should be, and variation in whether people sympathise with the boys or not.
for people who don't know this series, part one is here and part two is here .
and, without further ado...
---------
“Really, I can’t believe you’re graduating soon, Kazuya. I still remember how you cried on your first day of nursery. And now look at you, a young man, all grown up.”
Hara rolls his eyes as his younger brother snickers, and his older brother hides his laugh behind a cough. It’s the bimonthly family dinner today - also known as the only time all brothers are together - and, of course his mother is being sentimental. Whilst all his dad has expressed is surprise that Hara actually made it through all four years of university, his mother has been getting teary-eyed at the idea of it all. (Whether that’s solely due to Hara, or rather her dreams of getting her youngest out of the house soon too, is a separate matter.)
“Me as a functioning member of society,” mutters Hara, shaking his head, “fancy that.”
Dinner continues on that note of Hara vehemently denying that he’ll be a true adult anytime soon, as his older brother agrees that it fucking sucks, and his younger brother snorts obnoxiously at every reference to the younger Kazuya. In particular, he’s been laughing at their mother’s gift for Kazuya’s graduation. An album full of photos from his youth.
Having been looking through the pile of photos again today, she lays one on the table, “that reminds me. Who was this?”
Hara leans across the table to see the photo clearer. It’s a post-match picture, for sure, judging by how everyone in it is smiling and sweaty. 7 people feature: Hara making the rock’n’ roll sign with his left hand, Yamazaki and Matsumoto with their arms around one another, Seto with his eyes half-open, Hanamiya with a basketball balanced on his index finger, Furuhashi at the side standing stiffly, piggybacking the seventh person. Who knows whether the seventh person is smiling or not - their face has been scribbled over in black ballpoint ink.
“You know, I don’t even remember anymore,” replies Hara. In part, he’s being honest - it’s been years since he thought of that figure, and their fingers making bunny ears behind Seto’s head. “I was probably being childish when I doodled on it.”
But, it’s funny. It’s been all these years and yet Hara still feels rage burn within him at the sight of it.
A week later, Hara reunites with Seto, at a cafe a few minutes from his university building. They make an even weirder duo now than they did back in high school. Seto dressed in all black, the only colour a white handkerchief in his top coat pocket; Hara in sweatpants and a hoodie, his hair dyed bright green.
“Man, whose funeral are you attending dressed like that?” Hara grins as Seto sits down at the table opposite him.
“Hopefully yours,” is the reply.
The old team doesn’t meet as much as they used to, yet Hara feels like a kid again when he’s talking to Seto, who’s matured in so many ways but still maintains that slothful mockery. Over cake and coffee, they discuss the good old days and how boring university has been in comparison. Hara complains about not wanting to be a capitalist slave, Seto telling him that even the rockstars he idolises were, in part, such slaves. And, at some point, the conversation turns to the photo. How it made Hara feel seeing that face, or lack of it, again. That curious bitterness.
“It’s the recency effect,” Seto takes a sip of his coffee, "some cognitive bias shit. You remember the most recent situation with that person, despite what came before, and that’s what influences your thoughts on them the most. We didn’t part with her on a good note, after all.”
Hara chuckles, “that depends on whose side you were on.”
He closes his eyes and remembers the last time he saw their beloved manager’s face.
There was nothing stopping them, that was the problem. The team had been disbanded, with no chance for the boys to return to the basketball club if it was ever reopened. Hanamiya had had his relationship with his mother soured, and he’d been kicked out of the disciplinary committee, which meant there was really nothing left to hold him back. Especially not the disciplinary committee, whose fear (respect?) of him grew even stronger after he left. And Hanamiya was usually the one to keep the others in check.
She had thought she was saving them, but they’d lost pretty much everything instead. Now, they only had problems, no restraints, and a toy to take those frustrations out on.
To be fair to her, their manager-chan did try to fight back after some point. She must have realised that any past relations were now rotting six feet under, too far down to be brought back to life, and that her old companions had nothing better to do. Word in the school corridors was that she went from club to club asking if they’d let her join, in attempts of finding an ally. Everyone said no, they didn’t want the trouble. That is, everyone apart from one club - the judo club. With a total of one member. A tall and muscular third year, kind to everyone but with a keen sense of morals. Brunette too, coincidentally.
That alliance worked for about a week. Catching sight of her with the brunette kept Hara and the others away - he wasn’t stupid enough to pick a fight he couldn’t win, it would make him look like a moron. And Judo-Man was everywhere where she was. Probably had a crush on their beloved manager, Hara remembers Matsumoto joking (they got closer, strangely, in the aftermath of the breaking up of the club), probably jerked off to her “thank you so much, senpai, for saving me!!” squealing.
The funny thing is, that tactic of hers might have worked, if Judo-Man hadn’t resembled Kiyoshi Teppei so closely. That was enough to mean Hanamiya would never let this go. One evening, he arranged for the team to meet up. Teach this moral fucker a real lesson about morals when it comes to fighting - that there are none if you want to win. That poor fuck got a lesson on every single move in the Kiridai Basketball Team inventory. Furuhashi even brought a knife.
And what was funnier was that they had no real problem with him, except for how he got involved in their business, and the colour of his hair. They might have even let him go after a few kicks and punches, had it not been for manager-chan in the background, begging for them to let him go. Hurt her instead. Leave him be.
Hara remembers it well - the feeling of his heel meeting Judo-Man’s chest, the sight of blood making his own roar so loud that he couldn’t hear himself think. Seto holding their precious manager back, clamping his hand over her mouth when she tried calling for help. Yamazaki spitting in her direction as they left.
They’d left her poor victim lying on the ground unconscious, and let their manager call an ambulance for him. But only after Hanamiya had given her a final piece of advice.
“We here at Kiridai operate on a two strikes system. You snitch a second time and you’re out.”
Both she and Judo-Man never showed up on the school grounds again. Rumours were rife. Some said that he’d gotten her pregnant and they’d run away from home together. Others said that she’d killed herself.
“But she didn’t”, says Seto now, “I met her, a few months ago. She was working at bookshop I had stopped by at. I didn’t recognise her at first, until she recognised me, and the look on her face made it easy to put a name to the face.”
“And you never did anything really bad to her,” Hara takes one final slurp of his drink, “I wonder what she’d think if she saw me.”
“Don’t go out of your way to find out. We did enough to her.”
“Yeah, yeah, live and let live. It was just a thought, that’s all.”
But it’d be interesting to see her again. Partially to see her expression, but mostly to see how he’d feel. Would it remind him of his violent youth, bring that that brilliant anger that encouraged itself onwards to excessive levels? Or has he matured now? Would he feel guilt? If she’s hot these days (only if she’s hot), maybe he’d even apologise.
“Where did you say you saw her again?”
Seto rolls his eyes. Hara cackles. He’s thinking that Hanamiya would love to get involved with a game like this.

Hello, this might be oddly specific, but can I please have some kiridai boys hcs with s/o who's into taxidermy and collecting bones (both animal and human ones). It's my main interest, and having all the 'weird' stuff (e.g. few dead animals and whole ass real human skeleton) makes me afraid of getting to know new people, because they tend to be scared of me after they see this collection of mine or even when they hear what I like to do in my free time Thank you and have a nice day!
hanamiya makoto
this man has a whole ass smile light up on his face when he sees your collection
very interested (worryingly interested) in the process behind cleaning bones
plus, the more you tell him, the more his own expertise about chemistry kicks in and makes him want to find out even more
suddenly, he’s bringing bones to you that he’s somehow found (don’t ask) to do experiments with, in figuring out what will strip the bone of flesh fastest, if any chemicals can make them whiter, etc
i guess you’ve got a partner in crime now, so to speak
furuhashi kojiro
has a thing about stroking taxidermied animals as if they’re alive
otherwise, he’s not a bone collecting type of guy; ironically for someone who looks like a serial killer, he prefers bringing things to life (that’s all gardening is, right?)
but he’s also not someone who would ever be made uncomfortable by a few dead bodies here and there
so you’ve got yourself a very companion: he will happily let you talk his ear off about your hobby, because none of it will ever disturb him
hara kazuya
knows nothing at all about bone collection (unless we’re talking about the hara from this au), but is pretty damn impressed by your assortment of things
spends one hour going round saying “what’s this” “what do you use this for?” “and this is-?” “yo what if we taxidermied furuhashi would that be fun or what, wouldn’t even notice a difference”
yeah, taxidermy in particular catches hara’s interest because he has no morals/ethics that might stop him from telling you to taxidermy this dead animal into a stripper-looking thing; everything in his mind is just potential gag TM
expect him to demand to be taught how to do it
(but, for furuhashi’s sake, please don’t)
yamazaki hiroshi
you know that “looking respectfully” meme? that’s zaki when he first sees your collection
he tries to be a polite boy but, to say the least, it’s a bit of a shock
aka he’s gawking at the human skeleton like he doesn’t play the most gruesome and detailed fighting games
“but doesn’t not burying them mean they’re gonna, you know, haunt people?”
it’s not that he’s judging you, it’s just that he genuinely thinks you’re some ultra-powerful black magic wizard
seto kentaro
like furuhashi, he’s unbothered about seeing a set of human bones, and even when he asks, “did you kill it?”, he sounds more curious than anything
doesn’t believe in ghosts or magic or anything like that either, so there’s literally nothing that could possibly scare him about your set up
can very much appreciate the science behind bone cleaning/restoring/etc, though taxidermy’s a little too fiddly for him to want to be involved
but if you made/bought him a lil taxidermied mouse for his birthday? it’d be sat on his otherwise minimalistic desk for the rest of his days

Bois opinions on female buzzcut/if their gf would have one, or headcanons? Approve or nah? Who would actually approve to the point they wanna BE the actual person doing their buzzcut for them? You may toss imayoshi into this mess also (and this is not cuz I consider doing a buzzcut myself or anything okay please stop look at me im not obsessed by their opinions on me or anythinfgsswyugxzdyh??!@k)
Hara Kazuya
won’t stop encouraging you after you bring up the idea, even if you had just mentioned it once
100% wants to be the one doing it, except he may fuck up your hairline (probably)
so then you get your revenge but shaving off a chunk of his hair, and thus neither of you go outside without a hat for a month
Imayoshi Shouichi
encourages you to do it, and then goes about saying “hmm.. well it doesn’t look like i thought it would…”
who knows whether he actually likes it or not? the major thing is that he’ll never tell you either way
he’s an absolute dickhead; please pull his hair and tell him that at least you don’t have a bird’s nest on your head like he does
Hanamiya Makoto
honestly he wouldn’t be for your having a buzzcut if the idea was “starting afresh” or something like that, but if it’s something like “blood’s hard to wash out”, he might just let it slip
like imayoshi, also a dick - don’t expect him not to pretend to shine your head, or critique your head shape
(shave your hair off anyway and leave it in his shirt so it itches for the rest of the day)
Seto Kentaro
watch his reaction just be like “oh” when you walk in, as if you haven’t completely changed your look
honestly seto’s not the kinda guy to care either way - if anything he thinks it’s a smart move cause it saves you time having to brush/wash your hair
hell if you’re smart about it, you might just convince him to do the same
Yamazaki Hiroshi
he’d try his best to support you in your buzzcut endeavours, but it might take a little bit of time for him to adjust
read as: man spends the whole day apologising after he confuses you with one of the local thugs
also no way would he be the one doing the buzzcut; he’s the one watching you do it on yourself, getting more emotional than you are over the hair falling to the floor

kiridai/imayoshi/haizaki on opening jars
idea stolen from this post - as a sidenote, if you like the kengan franchise, i def recommend @kengan-ass ‘s stuff :D
hara tightens the lid beforehand so that he can tease you when you ask him to open it, except he tightens it too much, so now even he can’t open it. what was the point in that, kazuya?
hanamiya doesn’t even need any strength to open it; he’s got tons of lil techniques he uses (which he taught himself cause he used to be a weakass child, 90% of whose sense of masculinity came from opening the jar for his mother)
yamazaki’s good at opening lids but every once in a while it won’t open, so he knocks it against the side of the table, and if it still won’t open, he loses his temper, knocks it again, and it smashes into pieces
seto doesn’t care about your stupid jar; if you try to ask him to open it whilst he’s trying to relax, he’ll just sleep with in his arms. enjoy your plain bread meal.
furuhashi doesn’t understand the nature of the “it’s cute when my s/o asks me to open a jar”; every time you ask, he tries to explain his technique so you won’t have to ask again (he’s doing you a favour?)
matsumoto opens the jar without any fuss, hands it back to you, and mumbles a your welcome when you thank him. he is a good boyfriend. ignore everyone else here and fall in love with matsumoto.
imayoshi starts on some bs monologue about “you’re asking me to open the lid but what does this really mean? could this possibly describe the futility of life? the misery within our souls?” to wind you up. your anger at him gives you enough strength to open the jar.
haizaki is damn good at opening jars, except he’ll try hold them out of your reach afterwards, and, when you jump to get them, the jar spills. now both of you are stuck washing pickle juice off the floor

Haaaii is there any way for me to request a part 2 for the boys feeling betrayed by their manger like how it escalates after the cancelled practice???
Tumblr media Tumblr media
part one here
Hara’s been trying not to look at her recently. Her face pisses him off too much, with that faux concern in her eyes, that sadness - as if she has the fucking right to be playing the victim.
They still share some classes, but they no longer sit together. In maths, where Yamazaki used to join Hara in the corner with their beloved manager, Furuhashi’s taken her seat instead. The first time she saw that she’d have to find somewhere else to sit, she was staring at them for the rest of the lesson, like she was genuinely heartbroken. And, for that same period of time, Hara watched as Yamazaki’s fists were shaking, how the boy had forced the nib of his pen so forcefully into the paper, that it had drawn a dark score across the tabletop. At the end of the lesson, as he was walking out of the classroom, his shoulder swung into hers hard enough to send her staggering against the wall. And once again, she had those fucking doe eyes, as Furuhashi and Hara accompanied Yamazaki out, as if she was really expecting them to help her.
She’s yet to realise that all those privileges she had as manager are long gone.
Hanamiya had been talking about it, the other day. He had said that he’d caught a couple of their classmates harassing her, by the school gates, crowding around her like a bunch of vultures around fresh meat. In her panic, she had called out Hanamiya’s name.
“And so I said,” said Hanamiya, shifting in his seat on the playground bench the team was sprawled across  (now that the gym’s no longer an option, they’ve had to find new haunts), “that, they could go ahead and fuck her if they really wanted, but her cunt would probably rot their dicks.”
Yamazaki kicked his leg against the leg of the bench. Seto chuckled, though humourlessly.
Seto’s the only one that’s not bothered by mention of her - perhaps because he considers her as just an abstract entity. He can’t hear her when she calls his name in class, he can’t see her when he’s walking through the corridors. Really, it’s amazing that she’s still trying to approach him. Maybe his pacifist approach makes her think that he’s not going to harm her, but, from his frustrated comments, walking home with Hara, Hara’s pretty sure Seto’s patience won’t last much longer.
“Did I tell you, she woke me up the other day, when I overslept in the library? Called me ‘Kentaro’ too. If she tries to use my first name again…”
The thing is, they don’t really want to hurt her. At least, they never used to want to hurt her. But she’s the traitor in this scenario - and, worse than that, she had the audacity to act as if she was helping them, act like she was expecting ‘thanks’ instead of exile from the group.
So now, if she gets the occasional elbow to the face (accidental; she’s just short), or if she hears the occasional unpleasant comment shared between a team member and one of the other students (maybe she shouldn’t have been eavesdropping), she should remember that she’s the one that started it.
Furuhashi put it best, Hara thinks, during that one sports lesson, where Yamazaki had kicked a ball right to her gut (deemed as accidental by the teacher, except Zaki’s used to be in a futsal club when he was younger - and the coach always praised him for his accurate passes), and Furuhashi was called to take her to the nurse’s office, where Hara was already residing (health committee means having a valid reason to hide out there, when you’re bunking a lesson).
“I don’t know why you guys are being so cruel to me,” she had whispered, looking down, after the silence had grown stifling.
“Cruel?” cut in Hara, not turning to look at her, “what were you expecting? You did say we were the bad guys.”
Furuhashi, who had been silent so far, placed an ice pack on her stomach, and held her down as she squirmed against the cold, pushing it down onto her skin.
“We’ve been kind so far,” he murmured, eyes blank, tone unaffected, like a psychopath killing a kitten, “do you want us to start being cruel?”

How do you think the kiridais + imayoshi's approach to having a female stalker would be? Like them finding drawings of themselves or taken pictures of them when they weren't looking in the girls bedroom and such? (Let's say they went to borrow the toilet and got lost and find them there) aaahhh I love you
(note: i’m presuming that the stalker is someone they don’t know well, like a classmate they’ve been assigned to a project with, rather than a s/o or summat)
Imayoshi Shouichi
straight up confronts the classmate about this
he speaks teasingly, but with that slight almost-intimidating grin which warns (even when his words don’t) that he’s unimpressed, though almost intrigued at the same time
from then on, all pictures his stalker takes of him feature him looking straight at the camera - it’s like some kind of sixth sense, he always knows when they’re there
Hanamiya Makoto
he’s of course somewhat creeped out, but the big idea in his mind is “how can i take advantage of this?”
starts very casually flirting with the stalker-classmate, enjoys watching their reactions, and how easy it is to have them wrapped around his finger
in short, his stalker is practically his slave, just another person to do his dirty work for him
Yamazaki Hiroshi
incredibly uncomfortable
he’s not bold enough to leave straight away, but he starts hesitating when talking to the stalker, shifts away from them when they try sit closer to him and so on
from then on, doesn’t want to be near them alone - latches onto hara, when it’s just the three of them in the classroom, and changes seats if he was previously sitting next to the stalker
Seto Kentaro
straight up just leaves; he’s not paid enough to deal with this bullshit
he’s not scared in any way, knowing that he’s very tall and pretty fit and that this stalker classmate is unlikely to be able to overpower him or do anything to him
but that doesn’t mean he’s willing to hang out with someone who’s clearly not quite right in the head

I havent been in the best health lately and due to that I'm curious since you write the bad boys so well. Can you do headcanons or small scenarios for the kiri boys, how would they be/react if their fem s/o passed out randomly and they find out shes sick ^_^ please and thank you xo i just love your writings
Hanamiya Makoto
catches you when you faint, and then proceeds to tell you off, as soon as you regain consciousness, for not looking after yourself better
gets grumpy with you for having been eating unhealthy food, for not being hydrated, for not taking any vitamins: the works
forces to you to stay in bed till you get better
but also will stay by your side the whole time, reading books, checking your temperature, potentially even doing your homework for you
Hara Kazuya
bro he’s on it like he’s been to med school and back
catches you as you collapse, and lies you down on your back, loosening any restrictive clothing and checking your pulse
(maybe being on the health committee was good for something)
then, when you gain consciousness again, proceeds to bully you jokingly as to “you fainted from a cold? Weak” whilst also demanding that you go home and don’t leave there till you get better
Seto Kentaro
lies down next to you so you don’t look like an idiot lying down alone
very unimpressed when you awaken and reveal that you’ve been pushing yourself whilst sick
will piggyback you home and proceed to keep you company for the next few days till you get better
works as a hot water bottle whilst you sleep off the sickness
Yamazaki Hiroshi
that ‘panik’ meme
as the youngest child, he knows nothing about dealing with sickness, but that won’t stop him from trying to help you out
buys you a lotta food (but nothing junky) and will spoon-feed you if you’re too weak/tired to eat
probably ends up catching whatever you have

ok ok ok i'm aLWAYS A SLUG FOR YANDERE KIRIDAI so could I request a scenario with yandere!Seto x a female classmate? The polite but firm female classmate has been on the Kiridai boys' bad side since the beginning of the year where she almost turned in photographic evidence of their foul play to the school newspaper club that's a member of. fast forward a few months later and things have died down, except Seto seems to enjoy making her life a little harder. IM GONNA CONTINUE THIS IN ANOTHER ASK
Tumblr media
The way the blood drips out of her nose, the way she’s just subtly trying to back away, the way the bright lights of the nurse’s office make Seto’s eyes look predatory, the way his hands have trapped her against the wall.
“Did you throw that ball on purpose?” she asks.
“There’s always an accident or two in basketball.”
“More than two, in your basketball.”
Seto laughs - just once, almost coldly, savouring the joke with something within himself - and his thumb inches closer to stroke the skin of her cheek. He can feel the grazes the basketball made, when he tossed it, when it somehow made its way to her face instead of the hoop (her fault though; she could have dodged), but, even with the graze, her skin is soft. Addicting. He could spend all afternoon running his fingers down her cheeks. Or pulling a razor down them, all the way down her face, down her neck too, just to have the folds of her flesh portable.
He’s never been able to touch her before. He’s always kept a little distance between the two of them: close enough to aggravate her, but not in a way which counts. It was supposed to keep him restrained, like biting down on one’s tongue to fight the hunger, and yet, he’s ended up more ravenous than before. Why did he bother?
Why’s he been so nice to her, all this time?
“Why did you offer to take me to the nurse’s office? It’s just a nosebleed.”
“I felt,” he pauses, savours how the adjective rolls down his throat, “guilty.”
She starts to move away from his hands more obviously, and flinches when his thumb follows her. “Why? If you threw it for a reason.“
“To hurt you?”
(When he brings his face closer to hers, she realises just how distorted the proximity makes his smile look. Or maybe the smile was a little twisted to begin with. She’s starting to regret following him to an empty room.)
“To hurt me.” A second to think, to consider just how much riskier she can allow her situation to become, “why did you do it? What do you want?”
The way his elbow rubs against her neck, the way her voice catches in her throat, the way his frame traps her, the way his pupils reflect the blood stain by her nose.
And the way he murmurs “you”.

Hanamiya having a "nice" female childhood friend, who clearly knows him and how he plays, but remains fully supportive as long as he's happy. It stays platonic between them and she's more interested in meeting his teammates, but he's adamant on not letting them meet since he thinks she's too good for them. (if that makes sense) Requesting for a scenario where she meets the team haha
“So you’re telling me,” Hara repeats incredulously, “you’ve never broken someone’s knee?”
You smile, and nod again.
When Hanamiya had finally agreed to you meeting the team (it had been torture hearing so much about their different antics without having had the chance to meet them), you had been expecting a …different experience to the one you was currently stuck in. From the way Hanamiya had put it, his teammates, goofy idiots though they were, were also complete and utter dickheads - dickheads who would not hesitate to beat up anyone they disliked.
“Consequently,” Hanamiya had explained, “I’m not letting them meet and ruin you.”
And yet, you’d now met the team, and the only one hinting at violence was Hanamiya - having threatened to shove his foot up Hara’s ass if the boy even dared to make one pick up line towards you.
“I didn’t realise that breaking someone’s knee is a key trait needed to be Makoto’s friend,” you chuckle, feeling said boy’s hand tighten around your wrist.
(You know he hates being the butt of a joke, but this is too good an opportunity to miss. Everyone else you’ve met refuses to make a joke at the second year’s expense, fearing the repercussions.)
“That’s what the team does though,” Furuhashi comments from where he’s been leaning on Seto to retie his shoelace, “under his command.”
“It’s understandable,” Seto interjects, “he’s got a lot of pent up teenage angst in that little body of his.”
The gym goes silent. There’s a pause as Hanamiya comprehends the situation, wonders what happened to make his teammates suddenly so bold, and represses the urge to scream that he’s barely an inch below 6ft and that’s not short. He ends up not slapping Seto though, as Hara starts chanting “six foot gang” and then finds himself running for his life when Hanamiya starts chasing him around the court. And then there’s Furuhashi chuckling away to himself in the corner, and Seto has pulled his face mask back over his eyes, and Matsumoto entered the gym - heard Hara’s screeching - and went straight out again.
“So, how long have you been friends with the captain,” mumbles Yamazaki as both you both watch the chaos together, “you seem pretty close.”
“Oh that,” you joke, ”we’re actually in an arranged marriage.”
“You’re - you’re married?” If Yamazaki wasn’t a permanent frowner, his eyes would have popped out of his head, “oi captain - you’re married?”
It doesn’t take Hanamiya long to figure out what Yamazaki’s talking about, especially with that unusually devilish grin on your face.
“We’re not fucking-“
“How sweet,” Hara mocks, “you’ve saving yourselves till the wedding then?”
And now you’re laughing harder, almost wheezing as Yamazaki begins to chortle next to you.
(Hanamiya never realised he could regret introducing you to his teammates this much.)

Did I hear you looking for domestic fluff?? How about our bad boys comforting their wife who is about to have their first child and is nervous and worried they won't be a good mother.
oya oya oya?
Hara Kazuya figures that the best way, to reassure his beloved that they’ll be a good mother, is to strongly emphasise that he’ll be far worse than them. “You know I’ll have to leave if they get good at basketball,” he teases, laughing at his own joke, “cause otherwise they won’t get drafted. I’ll come back for you though.” It’s not the best technique at comforting her, but Hara’s chortles are contagious, so, at least his wife is chuckling a bit too by the end of it.
Hanamiya Makoto also can’t resist a joke. For him, the idea of having their first child still seems a bit of a fantasy; he’s more than happy to just pretend that all that future commitment doesn’t exist, till he starts actually needing to be a paretn. “Besides,” he purrs, “we can always sell it on the black market. It’ll have good genes, cause it’s ours, so it should fetch a high price-” (He hadn’t predicted the punch he received.)
Seto Kentaro is holding his wife’s hand as he reminds her that they’re in this together. Plus, if his older brother’s child seems to be doing okay, then what’s there to worry about for you and Seto? “It’s not that hard,” he says, “it’s just a baby.” (He’s going to regret those words when his sleep schedule, for the next few years, is wrecked.)
Furuashi Kojiro really doesn’t understand what his wife is worrying about. “You know what you’re doing,” he remarks, with a pointed glance towards the stack of baby care books, which have somehow taken over their home. “and there’s babies born all the time, so it’s not a big deal.”
Yamazaki Hiroshi’s more nervous about being a bad parent than his wife - in his mind, it’s always the fathers that screw up anyway. What if he does something wrong? What if - a worst case scenario - he accidently hurts the little human being he already loves more than anything else? Nonetheless, he makes sure to comfort his wife, promising her repeatedly that he knows she’ll be an amazing parent, that he’ll support her every way he can, and retorting that their unborn child doesn’t realise how lucky they are to have such a wonderful mother waiting for them.
