God man I. Irl I hate smoking. Like I wouldn’t really be with someone if they smoked just cuz of family history. But in fiction? There’s just something hot about it idk ahdjfl

Warning(s): potentially triggering relationship dynamics, some obsessive behavior tbh bc i like em crazy, mostly cute stuff tho!

GROWING UP RÄIKKÖNEN MEANS having a chaotic first few years, but with your father everything always works out. kimi isn’t even 22 when you’re born (2001), and your mother is just a fling who sadly passes away before you turn one, but you are his world. he melts at the sight of his eldest daughter; the one who he raised as his alone. Sure, you’ve had a couple step moms, but only one father who happens to be the protective type. You grow up in the f1 paddocks because kimi doesn’t like being apart from you for too long. even with his marriage to jenni, he has her watch you during his races. Just the racing part though, he commonly totes you along with him during anything he can, even media duties. due to his own upbringing, your schooling is the highest of priorities, but it’s still a guarantee you know how to drive anything by age 16. He wants you to be prepared for anything life throws at you, though of course he wouldn’t let you do it alone.

How bold would the Ros become with a shy and self-conscious mc?

Hey! I’ll be using a scale of 6 emojis for spicy vs sweet levels.😚=sweet 🥵=spicy. I think that the boldness of the ROs will definitely change depending on the type of MC you choose to play. Some may be all spice and others all sweet and some could be a mix of the two.

Roxanne/Robbie: 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵😚 Ro is usually going at 100% in all aspects! When they want something or someone they're going to get them. If MC is more shy and reserved they'll only dial a down a teeny bit.

Joleen/Johnny: 🥵🥵🥵😚😚😚 Jo is very intuitive and considerate. They will naturally feed off of their partners energy, not to say that they won't make advances. A more shy MC can always rely on them to make them feel wanted yet comfortable.

Delphine/Desmond:🥵🥵🥵🥵😚😚 De is a true leader by nature. If MC is shy or unsure of themself then De will more than willingly take the lead. De will help MC build their confidence so that they feel more confident and comfortable with initiating things more often.

Rina/Ren: 🥵😚😚😚😚😚 R is a bit reserved and inexperienced themself. MC and R may have to stumble through the motions and learn together. They can build on their wants and needs and find their own unique flow.

Everly/Everett: 🥵🥵🥵😚😚😚 Eve is observant and aims to please. They won't want to push MC to far past their comfort level, but they will need MC to show some interest or they will start to feel a bit insecure.

GOD THIS IS...SO DIFFICULT....... 🧍‍♂️ i dont read as much fic as i let on. theres gonna be fic from other fandoms besides f1 here because these are just things i think are great reads regardless of source material lets get into it

1. I'll Pick Up Your Bones When I'm Done by cephied_variable : A long fic for the Metal Gear Solid games. Changed a lot about how I try to approach fanfic, really compelling read. Men of war and their appropriately difficult, strange, and horribly cyclical relationships. I think even not knowing Metal Gear, this still is a great read for anybody on a rainy day.

2. the year you thought you were dying (was a really great year) by fractalkiss : I adore Ren's writing generally, but the universe created for this fic, the characterization of Lance and Fernando both, it's just so spot on and beautiful and romantic in a way I cant quite describe but I can FEEL. I'll always remember finally catching up with this fic as I sat outside on a sunny day, eating a very bitter piece of dark chocolate, and that's what this fic feels like to me. Love it.

3. A Month of Sundays by Kelfin : Hockey fic, but more than anything, a fantastic character study. Feels so reflective and real and personal, incredibly paced and has this perfect, frustrating acceptance of the way things are in life. Builds a really great empathy with its characters, and if this was a published novella on a shelf, I'd recommend it to everyone and carry a copy around with me.

4. red, and a little more red by atwater : The shortest fic of these three, but it packs a punch! Perfect little piece of horror writing, a great sense of dread, and I love how so much is left unknown. I think it's such a creative and different approach to what we usually see in a ship fic oneshot, and really makes me want more fics exploring genre rather than always being romance in different AUs if that makes sense? I also just love the way Sadie writes, specifically how she writes these two. I could read her Seb POV for days.
