the progression from "there's a morning snack and a midday snack" and "20 bucks for pizza" buck looking after his friend's kid to "bobby's famous lasagne: 6 types of cheese cooked to perfection" buck cooking for his family to "that's makes me your sous chef" teaching his kid how to cook is making me go so feral.

#going from two separate things - like how normal friends who aren't co-parenting would organised it - to the most domestic thing ever #to being the good responsible parent and making sure he eats real food before cookies #AND and the motifs that've been established: teaching to cook as father/son bonding and cooking food as a demonstration of love #im UNWELLLLL #buckley diaz family #911 abc #right from the pilot buck has had an intense care for children (but was also immature himself)#and we've seen him grow into a person who is literally becoming a father. Eddie Diaz basically pulled an uno reverse on Buck for a relationship. Shannon and Eddie got married because of Christopher. And in Eddie's head, he was like, "Baby trapping=marriage."

So what does he do?

I keep seeing people say buck has never gotten a breakdown moment and every time I have to reply well what's all this then

#i get that it was different from eddies in the sense that eddie's was the climax of his mental health arc and led to his healing journey #but sometimes a breakdown is just a breakdown and there's no immediate relief #(not that that was the case for eddie but for us the audience we saw him truly start to heal within the next two episodes)#buck just picked up his pieces and put himself together again into a recognizable shape #until the shooting and the crane brought it crashing down #and then he existed in a self destructive limbo all of season 5 until season 6 where we're finally FINALLY starting to see him heal #but that doesnt take away from the fact that the warehouse was a full blown breakdown after three decades of slow simmering misery #and the heartbreak grief desperation in his face is one of the most devastating things this show has ever done #evan buckley #911 fox #weewoo brainrot

So the first three photos are actually still in the aired footage, and the last pic was fixed before they put it in the show.. so yes, it was a costume department error or whatever BUT in the show in this scene, you can clearly see BUCKLEY written on Eddie's turnout,, so sure it was an error but that doesn't change the fact that canonically Eddie is wearing Buck's turnout and vice versa so like take from that what you will
