What a fascinating news after a long year of discontinuation!!!

The more I hear abt the way show!kaz talks to inej (like calling her a weak link apparently for not being there because she was helping people???)And a bunch of other insensitive stuff he would never ever say to her in the books the angrier I get like I cannot believe they took book kanej who were supposed to subvert the whole bad boy/good girl trope and then made them fall into that trope in the show
This might be me being subjective due to how much more affectioate he is towards her in the adaptation, but I do have to cover for him a little bit bc he is an insensitive jerk in the book, too. I don't think he would ever tell her "forget about your parents already", but most of the other stuff is pretty in-line. The subversion comes from the fact that Inej doesn't interpret it as "Awww he is being mean because he is scared of his feelings!", she tells him "Buddy you either solve your emotional issues and start treating me right or I'm gone." HOWEVER, the show makes it all very one-sided and ignores Inej's trauma and the fact that she also wants his help in return, so it rings much more hollow.

Dunno how saying I’d love j-hope to tour got me some weird responses on Twitter. People do realize that’s just what artists do right? Musicians release music, and then perform that music. It’s like, literally the only thing musicians do...and j-hope is a performer? He already has everything necessary TO tour? He doesn’t need to go on some huge world tour, but just hit some major cities in the main continents? We also don’t even know WHEN he’s enlisting, so to take 6-9 months to go and put on some shows wouldn’t be too insane.
How is it asking too much of a performer to perform, I don’t understand Twitter ARMY at all. j-hope LOVES performing too, like yeah he was nervous at Lolla ‘cause it was literally his very first time performing all his songs as a soloist but he killed it, even HE said he killed it, and people don’t think he wants to do it more? When those are literally in the lyrics of MORE?!

It’s not a matter of could he do it, or can he do it, he WANTS to do it.

i’m going to maintain my position that we don’t need a six of crows show at all.
they are straight up doing the six of crows plot for season 3 of shadow and bone. they’ve already taken all the human interest and backstory out of crooked kingdom and all that’s left is the assassin and shu cyborg warriors. there is no reason to remove them and their storylines from shadow and bone, especially as its super clear that the king of scars plot is at least starting in season 3, and possibly could be wrapped up in that season too, considering how quickly they’re ploughing through the source material.
i actually think it would be jarring to give them their own show when they’re clearly a massive, plot-relevant part of this one. shadow and bone would be a lot thinner without the crows, and any tv show focused solely on the crows would only need about three episodes per season. they’re very efficient and we already know all their secrets bar wylan’s.

a couple of days(weeks?) ago, i saw an ask about curse!suguru au and it really got me thinking.
how would a curse!suguru work? to what extent would curse!suguru be suguru?
i assume that curse!suguru would be created through intense grief and love. but this also got me thinking: is curse!suguru a separate entity from suguru? do they—on some level—share the same soul? is it entirely an invention of suguru's lover? does it function the way rika does, but more powerfully and perhaps more sensibly, considering this is a twenty-seven-year-old man we're talking about and not an eleven-year-old girl?
and would curse!suguru exist concurrently with suguru's body? and so, would kenjaku still get to suguru's body? and so, would curse!suguru witness his body being violated? that would make curse!suguru mad—beyond mad.
and what would suguru's lover think of all of this? cursing suguru—her other half—turning him into a curse, one that's at her beck and call.
that’s so interesting — I want to say the curse can exist separate from the body — since I assume that’s what happened with rika 🤔
oh curse! suguru would be made through grief, love, and anger — I would say curse! suguru would be a product of both him and reader! so I would say he can operate independently — but probably would attach himself to reader.
oh my god, kenjaku would enrage curse! geto especially when seeing him hurt reader or gojo or anyone else he cared about
reader would be so upset — she would be torn between trying to set him free while selfishly hanging onto this vestige of suguru that she has left. but I would guess curse! suguru wouldn’t be able disappear until his body was at peace as well as reader letting him go 🥹🥹🥹
