fave stan centric episodes
you’re getting old, ass burgers blah blah guitar queer-o yknow.. i’d like to say future self-n-me because the first time i watched it i was so immersed, because it IS south park i never thought it’d actually be a realistic concept of “consequences of doing drugs at this age/idk how to talk to my son about drugs” and my brain immediately went to “okay. so theres future stoner versions of the kids. what happened this time! only in denver right guys!” and i just find it so clever i cant put it into words. has anyone thought about opening a future self business?
though not a very stan-centric episode i loove biggest douche in the universe!! the stan subplot is soo funny to me + stan explaining how fake mediums work and how easy it is to manipulate people experiencing grief, how they’ll do anything to bring themselves closure besides facing actual reality, is really interesting! plus the little comedic effect where he becomes a literal fucking mastermind. i love my silly guy

What is your favorite topic to write about?
I don't have a favourite topic per se, more like a set of genres or tropes I like to write. I live for codependent friendships, or friendships where the main character is obsessed with the friend more than the reverse, like platonic pining. I think it makes for interesting storylines! You get yearning without falling into the trap of love at first sight (which I personally don't write).
Anatagonists/Idiots to lovers - a bit different from enemies because I don't think I've ever written true enemies, but I like to write people that don't like each other finding common ground enough to look past their differences
Diversity - I love researching cultures and lifestyles very different to my own when I write. I've written main characters of different ethnicities, gender expressions, trans girls, different wealth classes etc
I love to say my 3 categories of work are girls gone mad, girls gone sad and girls gone bad.
Usually my MCs are girls, but project Autumn (my new YA fantasy wip) is going to follow a disabled boy so that's going to be really interesting for me to try!

MAN I feel you over the Mira and Laxus thing. Like I dont believe that solidifies the ship because Mashima has also drawn Natsu and Lisanna together and Gray and Erza etc etc and when have Mira and Laxus even interacted or talked the last time? Hiro has made it pretty clear they're not gonna end up together but now this art work comes up in 2023 and shippers are gonna shoooooove it down pur throats even though Mashima and Atsuo have both still refused to have these two interact with one another
I just want a picture of my favorite character without it being ship bait is that too much to ask? 😭 He hasn't even SKETCHED Laxus in over a year, whereas he drew her in full-color in February...
That's just how annoying he is about it though, everything has to be ship bait, he can't draw any character without adding in another one that gets to be used for ship bait and it's so tiresome! No matter how nonsensical it is, because it riles up the shippers so they can be validated, until the next time he draws ANOTHER ship bait image and invalidates them. Wash, rinse, repeat.

dentist! gojo who, when you complain that you can’t open your jaw wide without it hurting, asks you to demonstrate, and god, when he sees your pretty lips part, it’s hard for him to focus. and it’s hard for you when your cheeks burn when his fingers examine your jaw, and he indulges in dragging a finger down your lips. he also can’t help but think of what else would look good between those lips.

hii im currently writing a book that centers around person A (who has a semi-normal household life if a but abandoned) and person B (suffering from abuse and ptsd)
can you think of any details i can add to make the story more real or accurate in terms of person B's reaction to affection or attachment in general. thanks!!
I know writing trauma can be difficult, and I don't usually write heavy topics (I cry easily lol), but here are a few points that could be useful :)
The attachment style theory can be really helpful when writing character relationships, and there are 4 main ones. It sounds like person B's attachment style could be anxious-avoidant, where the character may want affection from and to connect with person A but also fear it (this could be because of the character's trauma, PTSD, etc). Here are some examples:
Person B could begin the relationship thinking they're over everything that's happened to them and that they're ready for intimacy
But as the affection grows or things become more serious then person B could become more anxious, fearful, and just generally want out.
Person B could get overwhelmed easily by the growing relationship
All of this could result in the character being emotionally or physically distant from person A, leading to relationship conflict
This is my attachment style, so I can only really speak personally, but a big part of anxious avoidance is feeling trapped even if they really do care about the other character. Person A could try to 'fix' this by trying to get closer to person B, but this might draw person B away entirely.
I recommend trying to convey relationship beats through scenes where the reader can see it play out. (Ex: Instead of telling us person B is becoming distant, try to show us one or two moments of person B becoming distant like instead of hanging out with person A they might go out with other friends). This leads to a more active plot and a more active book in general and also avoids the trap of 'telling' the reader what the characters are feeling.
