the thing that gets me the most about tfe bumblebee is how he actually hides stuff from the terrans and, by association, the audience

he gets asked multiple times about his altmode and he either evades the question or gives a very vague description and moves on. we don't get information out of him, so to say, but out of other characters. he had the chance to talk about it in the beginning of ep 11 but doesn't until hashtag finds his photo, they have to prompt him for it. and then later jawbreaker asks, too, but offends him. it's a touchy subject

he doesn't let people get close to him anymore. he's not as open-minded and trusting as we see him to be in different iterations, he doesn't share his struggles if he can help it. not because he's an adult, but because the war changed him (presumably). i hope we see this addressed in earthspark more, this idea is so unique for his character

still can't get over how he was in hiding for (i would guess) 15 years. it's not a lot for cybertonians, but for a social butterfly like bee (lmao sorry) it's probably been very boring and lonely. i don't think he's been communicating with autobots or other bots to not blow his cover or get tracked. this plotpoint connects with me so deeply because idw bee (my beloved traumatized victim of warcrimes and politics) had no one to talk to except starscream, of all people. i just constantly think about how he wanted comfort for years and couldn't get it no matter how much he wished

his insecurities are so subtle it's why i love his character in earthspark, i'm in general fascinated with how the show delivers plot and lore

YAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY! Thank you so much anon, I'll gladly indulge.

I don't think there's been a single iteration of Bumblebee I didn't at least kind of like. There's definitely a few iterations of him that stand out to me though! I really, really like the direction they took Bumblebee in Earthspark, an unprepared mentor who's still a little immature, but has it WAY more put-together than the Terrans he's always surrounded with. He thinks he's in over his head and there's no way he could be a teacher, but by the end of Season 1 he's proven himself to be an incredible leader, teacher, and fun uncle figure.

Also, potentially controversial opinion, I really enjoy RID 2015 Bumblebee. It's definitely not the best Transformers series, and personally I think it would have been a lot more well-received if it wasn't pitched as a sequel to Transformers Prime and instead got to stand alone as its own thing. But seeing Bumblebee trying to be a serious leader with his goofball team only makes it more adorable when the geeky moments slip through, like his love of cowboys or the Bumblebee babysitting episode. Prime Bee and RID 2015 Bee definitely don't feel like the same character to me, but I'm able to separate them enough that I enjoy each of their merits.

But my humble opinions on various Bumblebees aren't the main reason we're here, is it? No, the main reason is for me to write all my personal little valveplug headcanons for y'all to enjoy and peruse!

NSFW BELOW THE CUT!

I think just about every version of Bee would be incredibly possessive over his partner. Though he's usually a fun, plucky, charming bot, he's got a lot of inferiority complexes and that manifests in him absolutely NOT wanting to share. Some Bees are more flexible than other Bees, but all versions of Bee love it best when your attention is on him. The only one that I can see being willing to share his partner on a 'more than once' basis would be Cyberverse Bee, and even then only with someone he felt equally comfortable with like Cheetor or Hot Rod.

Bee is also incredibly tactile, he loves skin-to-metal contact. If he had no shame and no scruples he'd carry you around in his servos or on his shoulder wherever he went. Bayverse, Knightverse, Cyberverse, and Animated Bumblebee are all very grabby and affectionate in public, while Prime, RID 2015, and Earthspark Bee save their touching and fondling for more private places. Really, the first group just get too excited when they see you, while the second group is worried about embarrassing you AND themselves.

He usually prefers to be the one doing the spiking, but that's partially because of the aforementioned inferiority complex. Get your hands and mouth on his sensitive little valve and you'll have a puddle of mech all for you to play with.

Very messy and very enthusiastic kisser. Even when he's trying to hold back and take it slow his processor is just a fog of pleasure and he can't help but practically devour you. Same thing if he's eating you out, he gets completely and utterly drunk on you.

LOT of transfluid for a minibot, and despite his better efforts the two of you usually end up pretty messy. If it's an accident he'll be very sheepish and apologetic, but if you asked for it he'll fully revel in seeing you covered and slick with his fluids. Actually, probably a lot of fluids in general if we cycle back on that kissing one. He's just a messy bot.~

And I talked about this a little in my tickling posts, but I'll indulge myself a little more. Like Optimus, I think Bumblebee enjoys being tickled but struggles to voice that or ask for it because he's worried it'll reflect poorly on him, like he won't be taken seriously if he lets himself indulge. The inner lining of his door wings is super sensitive, even just trailing your fingers up and down the length of the rubber window seal will have him squirming. As for the inverse, Bumblebee absolutely loves to tickle you, and would gladly do it whenever you ask. You're so, so much smaller than he is: softer, squishier, more vulnerable. It both turns him on and tugs at his heartstrings that you trust him enough to let him manhandle you like that, pin you down and push you to your absolute limits until you're wriggling and gasping and squealing with laughter. Cyberverse and Knightverse Bees are the biggest ticklers, while Animated and Earthspark Bees are the biggest ticklees.

Would it be okay if I order a Bot Buddy to have its alt mode be a drone? The kind that you control and send flying to take photos and videos.

A neutral Buddy who is a little shy and a little too honest and direct that she can't tell if someone said something as a joke and if they really meant it.

I would like Optimus, Ratchet, Arcee and Smokescreen to meet her.

Buddy just wanted to mind their own business, that was all.

They didn’t want anything to do with the destruction of war.

They rather just take pictures and videos of curious looking organic life on this planet.

That led Buddy to acquire their alt mode from a local tech shop.

They loved this little alt mode.

Not only could they take pictures in the daytime and nighttime, but they could also go into populated places and most people don’t even bat an eye.

Buddy likes showing off their works to the passing bots they come across.

Team that tries to persuade Buddy to join the team

These bots try to get the little drone to join them. They could be of great use and an addition to the team. Of course, it’s not just because of their alt mode, but a part of it does lie in their stealth. Whenever Buddy does show up, they usually have a video or picture they like to share with them. They are patient enough to see a few here and there. They will ask Buddy multiple times if they want to join. Some do back off after a couple of attempts, while others just continue to ask. They believe that one way or another they are going to wear them down.

Team that gets a bit annoyed with Buddy’s brutal honesty

These bots have a tolerance level that is constantly put to the test whenever Buddy is around. Buddy’s brutally honest talks are sometimes refreshing in certain situations, other times however, are just plain rude. Whether Buddy knows or not, they don’t know. They have a daily limit of pictures and video Buddy can show them before it starts to get annoying. They will pester the drone about joining the team for the advantage but will stop after a while.

Team that wants to hang out with Buddy

These bots find it fun to hang out with someone who isn’t so wound up about the war. Sure, war is a big factor in everything, but at least they have a hobby. Honestly seeing their videos and photos can make these bots day or entire week depending on the situation. In return these bots will try and spend more time with the little drone, maybe even take a couple of pictures themselves. They do want the drone to join but they will not enforce it too much.

Scare Tactic (Earthspark Megatron x gn!Reader)

My very first gender neutral reader for all who love this handsome mech! It is a bit of a shorty but, I'm glad how it ended up! Word Count: 666 (by the allspark we're doomed) Warnings: Fluff, sfw, lots of cybertroninan anatomy terms...if that's a warning?

You think that you're so funny, right? Scaring the former Warlord and Leader of the Decepticon's half to death and making him think he actually squished you beneath his peds.

Well it was kinda funny for a moment.

You had Dottie take you to Ghost Headquarters as you had several close calls with Decepticon's since your move to Witwicky. In reality, you wanted to see Megs and catch up a little bit since he had been swamped thanks to Agent Croft. So, when you got the opportunity to find him in the halls reading over a communication pad. It was just perfect. Hiding behind the large pillar that supported the walls, you waited till he got close to where you were until you let out the most Energon curdling screech you could muster.

Poor Megatron jumped a good 12 feet in the air hearing your scream. He knew it was you. His spark about ready to go into supernova if he knew he was the one who actually hurt you.

But as he began to think of what you were going to look like under his ped, the sound of your laughter was soon replaced. Making the titan raise a brow in utter confusion, he looked down to see you rolling on the floor and clutching your midsection because of your laughter. Your feet kicking in the air as tears started to prick at the corners of your eyes as your laughter continued. Megatron was deeply relieved that you were perfectly fine and let out a heavy ex-vent he had no idea he was holding. But what was once relief in his ruby optics were soon replaced with slight annoyance with a hint of mirth.

"(Y/N)! What in the Allspark do you think you're doing? Deceiving me into thinking I severely harmed you." He lectured you.

As your laughing fit soon fizzled to giggles, you sat up and wiped your eyes and cheeks. Looking up at your beloved 'Con, you knew you weren't going to get out of this so easily.

"I'm sorry, Megs. But… it was just too easy to not pass up the opportunity!" You explained as you stood and brushed off the dust on your pants.

With a slight glare, Megatron offered you his servo to which you happily accepted and perched yourself into his palm. With his thumb securing you around your waist, he lifted you to his chassis only to see Elita-one and Optimus running down the hall.

"What's wrong!" Elita exclaimed.

"We heard someone in distress! We came as fast as we could." Optimus said before laying optics to see the only culprit.

“Apologies, old friend. (Y/N) here came to visit and surprised me.” Megatron replied as he carefully lifted you to his shoulder plating. “Come to think of it, I was thinking of showing them my latest simulation.”

Turning on his struts, Megatron had a smirk on his own dermas to which Prime had no intention of figuring out what his plan was. You on the other hand were not planning on what was about to happen next. In the training simulation room, Megatron activated the system with a simple command where a pillar formed and rose to his eye level before plucking you off his shoulder.

“Ah! Hey!”

“This will teach you not to scare me.” And with a simple wave of his servo, the pillar rose an extra 15 feet into the air with Megatron chuckling.

“Megatronus! Put me down this instance!” You ranted only to hear your lover chuckle and soon begin to full blow tanks-laugh.

Again, it was funny. And in the end, it was worth it. Even if you scared the Spark out of him. He forgot about work, laughing and relaxing with you. Which you ended up laughing and him bringing you back to his level so you two could have a little stroll through the halls and talk about each other's day.

Now… what’s next to get your ‘Con lover?

Headcanons for all da Bumblebee x reader headcanons separately (like tfa, tfp, bay, 2018, rotb, rid, g1, Earthspark, cyberverse, rescue bots. How they each would be in a relationship and all that please ((So sorry I didn’t specify before pal 😅🥲))

Ok I hope I got this right😂. And no worries, and let me know if I missed anything or if there is something more specific you want to get my thoughts on

So there are a few things I think all Bee's have in common and that's being kind and a great boyfriend. Optimus raised a gentleman (bot) that's for sure. He's very much the opposite of " Oh I hate my significant other', " My significant other is my ball and chain", etc.

G1 Bumblebee: Definitely a clumsy blushing mess (if robots can blush) around his crush before they get together. He may or may not have used the same line he'd given to Spike to ask Carly out. I feel like he would also be the kind to brag to everyone about his SO and how amazing they are. Seriously, he introduces them to everyone as his SO especially at the beginning. I can see him at the very beginning having to run tell EVERY SINGLE AUTOBOT THAT WILL LISTEN THAT HE IS NOW WITH THIS PERSON. Very sweet boyfriend, and if he isn't cuddling with them he always has to be touching his SO in some way. I.E hand holding, having them in his arms or on his shoulder. The kind of relationship that it can be years down the line and they never run out of things to talk about and still learning new things about each other

TFA Bumblebee: If you got together too close to them making a home in Detroit he would have gotten in trouble for either stealing or messing up some flowers because he either wanted to get something for you and he didn't know the concept of paying for things or he was trying to pick flowers for you and he didn't realize he couldn't just pick some out of a public garden. He can be a little 💩 sometimes like you would probably expect, but he's actually a very sweet boyfriend. Always doing things like when he sees his SO carrying or trying to carry something heavy he has to rush over and carrys it for them while saying something like " Don't worry, Your boyfriend is here to help". Basically any reason to call himself your boyfriend. When Wasp did the electronic paint job with their helmets it affected him more then he let on, and once the others went to bed he asked you to stay with him. He can handle you being gone for a few days but if you're gone for more than a few days he starts becoming very sad because he misses you and the other bots don't know how to handle it. When you get back he nearly crushes you in a tight hug and he will definitely run over anyone who tries to get in the way, and don't expect for him to let you out of his arms for several hours. The other bots adore your relationship and see that you are a good influence on him. I definitely get the vibe that he would be the kind of boyfriend to do something like this

I can see it being the kind of relationship where sometimes you don't even need to talk you can just be around each other in comfortable silence and enjoy each others company

TFP/ Rescue Bots/ RID/ Rescue Bots Academy (I'm combining because these are supposed to be the same bot): He is very sweet with his SO when they are alone but he is somewhat less comfortable with PDA. He's ok with holding hands and a few little things like that but for the most part he won't be the one instigating anything beyond hand holding ( though it also depends on who is around- if you're only around people you know well and are comfortable with he's much more open about PDA). It takes him a little while to get out of the habit of feeling like he has always be taking care of you and protecting you, you definitely make him see this is a partnership and he doesn't have to put everything on himself.

Cyberverse Bumblebee: He's probably not the kind to flirt BEFORE you get together but oh man. Once you do get together he flirts relentlessly, and with the cheesiest pick up lines. For example, if you trip or fall or something and he catches you he will without a doubt say something very cheesy like " I guess you really did fall for me."

Earthspark Bumblebee: I can see this going two ways. Either 1- he accidentally makes it seem like he hates you because it's noticeable to you that he avoids you and that you're the only one he seems to have a problem with. He's forced to admit his feelings when you confront him about his behavior. Or 2- he got close to you but didn't believe it could work between you two. He resigned himself to only being your friend until he couldn't take it anymore and he finally admitted it to you . (Everyone around you wanted you two to get together). An extremely loving boyfriend. He's not bothered at all by PDA, he'll give you a kiss, hug, hold your hand or whatever (SFW obviously) regardless of if anyone is around or not. Loves to call you pet names like; my love, sweetheart, baby (he uses a lot of pet names)

Bayverse Bumblebee: You two are so alike you can almost already tell what the other is thinking without needing to hear it. Seriously like some kind of weird mind meld/soulmate thing going on. Crosshairs once made the mistake of mocking you standing up for Bee when he was giving him a hard time, let's just say he now fears being on the receiving end of your wrath. You two have your own code for when a mission goes wrong, how bad, and where to meet after if you get separated. Also, this bots memory is very good. When you find Wheelie, he remembers what he did to Mikayla and he definitely threatened to blast him back to Cybertron if he ever tried that with you

ROTB/Knightverse Bumblebee: no surprise but he loves going to the drive in with you. Takes you to meet Charlie so that you two can be friends. He loves carrying you around in his arms because of the size difference between you two (he thinks you're so cute and small). He just wants to spend quality time with you whenever he can. Always running a finger through your hair and playing with your hair in some way it just fascinates him

Hello, Hola, こんにちは。

Welcome back to this side of the Hundred Acre Woods, and we’re back back back again with another Transformers writing. I was just randomly hanging out in my college’s LGBTQ+ space, eating my Hot Cheetos and enjoying the H2O in my Hello Kitty hydro, when I began to have thoughts about Earthspark again. If you know me by now, you know that I adore Transformers Earthspark. Easy 9/10, among the top five best Transformers shows if all well goes according to plan. Like Cyberverse, it aims to subvert the Transformers formula through putting a fresh new coat of paint onto various Transformers tropes as well as bringing new and interesting characters and concepts to the table. When it comes to the former aspect of Earthspark, there is one trope that is not only brilliantly deconstructed, but is also treated with the respect and grace it should have from the beginning. As to what this trope is, let’s start with everyone’s favorite evil twink girlfailure: Starscream.

So…

The 21st century has not been kind to our skrunkly king. Sure, from the beginning, he is designed to be the ultimate girlfailure of Transformers. He’s cunning and sneaky, but his plans go easily astray because of his arrogance and ego getting in the way. It also doesn’t help that he’s often Megatron’s favorite punching bag whenever his plans to overthrow him go wrong. It’s a pure hate filled relationship that is dark comedy galore…if you approach it with the right angle. Part of the reason why TFA Starscream’s hate relationship with Megatron works is that Starscream doesn’t take Megatron’s crap at all. He will fight back, and it feels right whenever he has the upper hand over ol buckethead. Sure, their relationship is quite odd when you think about it. However, their dynamic is compelling as well as being like I said, dark comedy galore.

Then, Transformers Prime came in and proceeded to make it all so horribly wrong. Like I mentioned in my TFP essay, TFP Starscream deserves so much fucking better. Megatron’s treatment of him is just downright despicable. True, Screamer ain’t no saint and he only has himself to blame for his flaws and behavior. But…I’m sorry, the way Megatron speaks to him and how he gets so physically aggressive towards him is neither funny nor justified. It’s uncomfortable to see him reduce Starscream to a whimpering and fearful mess whenever the latter fucks up royally. Is this really what the showrunners think is good for the audience at home? Even if you see nothing wrong with it, you cannot deny how depressing it feels whenever Starscream and Megatron are on screen together. By having Screamer be the countless target of abuse throughout the show, it only made me want to help him leave the Decepticons for good.

It also doesn’t help that in RID 2015, Starscream’s vendetta against Megatron is portrayed in a negative light. Nah, fuck this shit. HE DOESN’T OWE FUCKING SHIT TO MEGATRON. He has every right to feel angry and hurt at how Megatron treated him throughout Transformers Prime. Hell, this is why I hate Megatron’s redemption arc in Predacons Rising so fucking much. He was never held accountable for how he treated his second in command, and for that, I only wish the uttermost hell for him. Fuck TFP Megatron. Fucking shark douchebag.

Same for Transformers Cyberverse. Like I love you, queen, but how Starscream is treated in that show ain’t it. I’ve talked about this aspect in depth in my Cyberverse retrospective video, so feel free to check that out here.

In a nutshell, there’s an uncomfortable trend of Transformers shows that straight up treats Megatron’s treatment of Starscream with only a slap on the wrist. Like, how does any normal person find any of this acceptable? Just…AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

However…then, something miraculous happened in Earthspark. Something that manages to deconstruct this trope on its head by straight up telling the audience: “Nah, we’re not gonna do that treating Megatron abusing Starscream as a joke bullshit. We’re gonna be 100% honest with y’all.”

For context, Transformers Earthspark takes place after the Great War is over. Megatron became a good guy again and Transformers on Earth is a part of everyday life. However, for the Decepticons, many feel very salty about Megatron turning good and becoming mischievous gremlins. This resulted in G.H.O.S.T. imprisoning them in cells, including Starscream. Eventually, in the episode, “What Dwells Within,” Starscream and the Seeker lesbians broke out of prison and went on the run in some catacombs. The Malto kids also got trapped in here, and they had to teamup to escape the caves and a vore monster. When Starscream is being Starscream while trying to escape the vore monster, Twitch and Thrash bring up his flaws and believe that he should go back to Megatron, since they spend time with old buckethead and see him as the changed man we see here. However…then this bombshell drops:

Twitch: “Yeah, you should go back to following Megatron. He wouldn't leave anyone behind like that!" Starscream: “Oh, naïve child. Is locking Decepticons in prison while he walks free not "leaving us behind"? You don't know the real Megatron, the ruthless tyrant who ruled over us with fear and intimidation."

Me:

While the others were distracted by the monster’s growls, we see Hashtag’s expression. Just, the way her entire perspective has changed when Starscream brought up the man Megatron used to be. Mmmmm, LAYERS. A few more monster shenanigans happen and the two of them get stuck together in the control hub. Up to this point, we see how much Megatron’s treatment of him has affected Starscream deeply. Even after being technically free of him…he still remembers that awful time in his life. It also doesn’t help that he is The Starscream, the skrunkly backstabbing mean girl whose entire life goal is to be the leader of the Decepticons. He was never taken seriously and the universe determines that he will not succeed. I highly recommend Comodin Cam’s video on the topic about this if you wanna get into the details. Bottom line is that Starscream doesn’t have the best luck in being himself.

Back to the control hub, it seems like there was gonna be a discussion of Starscream being Starscream. However, to Starscream’s surprise, Hashtag believes him. When she called him out for trying to save his own skin while everyone else is gonna die because of the vore monster, she asks him this question:

“When bad things happen, it isn’t always our fault.”

Since July, I’ve struggled to convey my thoughts about this moment in the episode, especially as someone who has been in Starscream’s place at one point in my life. In Hashtag believing him and being ready to listen to him had the monster not acted a fool, Starscream’s pain and trauma has been validated. For the first in his life, he’s not treated as a joke. Someone realized that he was a victim of abuse and recognizes his feelings, not talking down to him nor trying to argue against it. Hashtag is a young child, but even she recognizes that what Megatron did to Starscream is not okay at all. This resulted in her gaining his trust and loyalty and she even told off Megatron when the latter and Starscream were ready to duke it out. Eventually, the day is saved and both Screamer and the Seeker girlies venture off into the unknown. But before that, he rejected Megatron’s offer of safety and yeah…after a long time of being Megatron’s chew toy, he doesn’t owe shit to Megatron. He has every right to not trust him again, and even though we saw Megatron changing for the better in Earthspark, he has indeed hurt a lot of people.

Honestly, the bond Hashtag formed with Starscream and how the episode treated Starscream’s trauma with the grace and respect it deserves is a great lesson for kids to learn when it comes to helping out a friend who is in Starscream’s shoes. Hell, it could even teach kids to recognize the signs of abuse in their own homes and seek out the help they need. That’s what I love about Transformers shows like Earthspark: it recognizes that the audience is smart enough to pick up on the clues and details as well as entertaining them.

Transformers Earthspark aims to fix what shows like Transformers Prime has started, and it’s only fitting to have Steve Blum as Starscream here, as if its own way of saying, “We know, folks. Starscream deserves better.”

Conclusion: It's never the victim's fault.

If anything, Earthspark manages to excel in ways that many Transformers shows wishes they can do, especially those in the 2010s. It treats Starscream’s trauma from being The Starscream with the gravity and care it needs, and I appreciate it all the more as time goes on. I highly recommend that y’all watch this show. It has a complex story, likable and enduring characters, great animation, and it breathes new life in Transformers. Most importantly of all, it gave Starscream the justice he deserves, and I hope it stays that way with this incredible show.

Hello, may I ask for an Earthspark or TFP match-up, please?

My height is 5'3 (160cm). Im nonbinary and asexual, and I use any pronouns. I have brown, curly, short hair and green eyes. My skin is very pale, and I usually look pretty tired. I wear black clothes. Im a pretty calm and level-headed person. I really enjoy deep conservation, music, dancing, reading, and stargazing. I can read pretty much anything. I really like learning new things. Im sarcastic, and I like to tease my friends. I am extremely loyal to my friends, and I show my affection for them through gifts, quality time, and doing them favors. I tend to talk a lot about topics that I am interested in. I usually stay calm when people panic, (even if I'm screaming on the inside). Im trying to be as open-minded as possible to everyone, as long as they are doing the same thing to me. I love animals, especially raccoons. I think they are just adorable (I also have a cat and two dogs).

I have a pear-shaped body, but I'm also a little bit chubby. I have some scars on my arms and legs (mostly because I scratch my wounds when I'm stressed). Im anemic, which means that I get tired easily. Im also lactose intolerant. I often have random pains, but I don't know why. I also have an anxiety disorder (I bite my nails and lips a lot because of it). I would rather spend time indoors than outdoors, but I will not pass up an opportunity for a picnic :3.

I dislike loud noises and crowded places. I can't speak in front of a large group of people, and I have trouble making eye contact. I also hate when someone is bullied. I like spending time with someone when we both just do our stuff in one room. Im a pretty awkward person at first, but if I get close to you, I become more talkative and funny. People always tell me that when they first saw me, they thought I was intimidating. I often hum some music while doing something.

I think thats all. I apologize if this is chaotic. I never wrote a request. I hope it's not too much. Feel free to not write anything at all if you can't come up with anything <3.

Yandere TFP Megatron

Megatron is a cruel decepticon with a distaste for organics, so when he grabbed you into his servo he went to crush you right before Prime’s optics. He grinned viciously down at you, and your dead stare made him pause. Even the bravest of his kind looked more fearful than you.

Before he could even form a coherent thought, he had transformed around you and flown away. When he got back to the Nemesis he was angry with himself- but he didn’t realize that as he threw you to Knockout, ordering him to watch you.

While you were scared, you did like the quiet of this place. It was almost soothing.

Knockout peered down curiously at you. At your obvious exhaustion, he commented. “If I didn’t know better about your fleshies, I’d say you’re half dead.”

You stared back up at him, not quite making eye contact. He noticed your avoidance, but said nothing as he scoffed and went back to working.

Megatron questioned himself as to why he brought you along, but he couldn’t put his finger on it. He ended up sitting you on a table in his room while he worked. You were mostly quiet, but your curiosity showed as you looked at his computer.

His booming voice asked what you were doing, and you covered your ears. Megatron wasn’t sure why he did it, but he lowered his voice and spoke again. “What are you looking at?”

“....your screen. Sorry.” You bit your nails nervously. Megatron turned away, silent.

It was weeks before he sat you on his shoulder. He didn’t speak, clearly unsure of how to communicate with you. For the first time in millions of years, he was truly unsure of himself.

When he did start talking to you, it was to teach you about his gladiatorial days. He spoke of how he started the revolution, and how he fought against the corruption of the senate.

Eventually you felt comfortable enough to ask questions with him, but you felt nothing but pity. He had been through so much. However, you also felt conflicted- the Autobots are your friends, but you feel like this war has no point anymore other than for Decepticons to get some sort of revenge.

You slowly began to chip away at Megatron’s cold spark, and he cared for you- even if he didn’t show it well. He loved the way you hummed softly your favorite songs, and how content you were to merely sit on his shoulder.

Megatron would often bring you to large forests so you could enjoy the nature he found you enjoyed.

One day, when Megatron was on a comm with Soundwave discussing something, you decided to take off. You wanted to be back with the autobots- not to say that you even hated Megatron after everything you had learned. You ran through the forest, getting turned around almost instantly.

Almost immediately, you were snatched up into the servos of a very furious mech. Megatron had a deep scowl on his face.

“After I bestowed all of the knowledge I had upon you, did you really think I’d let you go?” Megaton squeezed you painfully tight. “Don’t worry, worm. I won’t make the same mistake with you twice.”

Megatron, secretly heartbroken that you’d try to leave after creating a bond, locked you in a cage hanging in his room- with no way to escape his clutches. You would never be allowed out unless Megatron was with you. His trust would be hard to earn back- maybe even take your lifetime.

Tfa Optimus in my opinion is basically Orion Pax (in general any orion). Like who I imagine Orion to be before taking the matrix. He is sweet, loyal , brave but is still struggling to be this leader but he's trying his damn hardest to take up the mantle.

ES Optimus would immediately be so drawn to TFa oppi because that's him , literally who he was before, young and not alot of experience. But also sad that this oppi has had to go through so much in such a small time. The losses he has suffered. He feels for him so much.

They are dads btws. This is two big bot dads with dad jokes. A young dad and aolder dad that goes

Now comes ES Megatron. Oh dear he's not use to this. When comes to the size and the fusion Canon on his arm. Tfa can't help but be uneasy. ES oppi would reassure him that this megs is ok and has changed. Its hard for tfa to wrap his mind around. So he trys to talk with him a little. Tfa oppi is a bit awkward but Megs sees he's trying so agrees.

He's so blown at the different personalities and history they share. Even a bit envious but happy that this Megatron saw the error of his ways and wnates to change. Meanwhile his was stuck as he was,, evil and murderous..

Megs is more than happy to show he's happy to talk. But hearing what tfa megs is like just makes him disgusted, particularly guilty as some traits he used to share maybe even struggles with right now.

But Megs is also like that Dad who's been around is trying turn his life around be there for the kids. Literally lol so Tfa Optimus and these two big boys get along well.

Earthspark Shockwave, Earthspark Grimlock and Earthspark Optimus accidentally hurting their Cybertronian SO (very badly)while they're under Mandroid's control.

I couldn’t manage to think of anything for Shockwave, sorry. For anyone who doesn’t want to be spoiled, both have a bit of spoilers- so it’s up to you if you want to read.

(TFES) Optimus Prime & (TFES) Grimlock with a Cybertronian S/O that they hurt while under Mandroid’s control:

Optimus Prime

{After everyone was brought back, there was a long moment of relaxation and an explanation for the Prime and the others as to what happened- when Optimus realized that he hadn’t seen you yet.}

{He went searching, and it didn’t take him too long to find you- you were back at the Malto’s. While you did leave with the others after the whole badge thing, you ended up returning- not knowing that a controlled Optimus (or the others) were going to suddenly awaken and attack.}

{He’s... concerned- why wouldn’t he be? When he gets closer, he can actually see all of the damage, which includes some missing limbs. Although... you’re alive. (Well, you just got brought back along with the others, but he wants you to stay that way).}

{He’s immediately trying to help you (it’s an unfortunate time to not have an actual medic), while trying to keep you awake- which includes him asking what happened/who had done this.}

{When you manage to point at him, Optimus frowns, and his finials lower. He never wanted to hurt you, but he was under control, he knows that... but it’s still upsetting- your his lover, he’s not supposed to do that, to anybody.}

{When you’re in a much more stable condition (somehow, despite them not having a medic), he’s already been visiting you before and after you wake up, the others included every now and then.}

{While recovering, you two will sit and talk- about the recent events, and other things. You’re quick to tell him that you forgive him, trying your best to reassure him.}

{Cuddles every now and then while recovering.}

Grimlock

{When he wakes up again after all of them get saved... he immediately remembers what happens. He couldn’t control himself, but he could still hear and see everything that’d been happening- like your screams.}

{He’s always been terrified of hurting others for one reason or another without meaning to- including you- so he doesn’t really take it that well.}

{When you eventually wake up, you’re repaired well enough, and in the little medbay. Some of the others are with you, but you don’t see your Conjunx.}

{That changes, though, when you watch Elita 1 leave, and shortly return with Grimlock, who must’ve been off doing... something, he seems upset, but you don’t say anything, not yet, at least.}

{Even when you do start to say something the first couple of times, he simply brushes it off, telling you that “I’m fine”, or something along those lines, and changing the subject.}

{Eventually, you figure out that he’s... scared that he’s going to hurt you again- he may not be under that control anymore, but he could potentially still do it from another reason.}

{You sit there with him and have a gentle talk with the Dinobot, just trying to reassure him.}

Alright, I don't typically comment on stuff like this but, I can't not do that since this is something in the Transformers community that is just absolutely wild.

The fact that Nightshade from Transformers: Earthspark is causing such controversary is driving me up the wall with the amount of stupid takes I've been about this. It's literally a little over one minute part of a 22 minute episode wherein Nightshade tells one of the humans that their pronouns are they/them and the human says their pronouns are she/they and that is the extent of it.

And, of course, all the conservatives are having such a problem with it. I've seen people calling this "revolting" "disgusting" and saying that "they're after your kids" or "felt uncomfortable and unnecessary" which has to be some of the stupidest ones yet, saying that this one minute part of a 22 minute episode is going to brainwash your kids. No one said that conservatives were smart. Though, the worst of the worst one said "The worst part is they imply that the world is evil and you can only trust non-binary people. This is the most sinister message you can send to a child. Absolutely revolting" which like most of that was never specified in that single minute part of the episode. There's is, of course, the typical thing of these conservatives calling this "leftist propaganda that must be repelled" like I just can't roll my eye any harder at the absolutely stupid shit these people are saying about this one minute part of a 22 minute episode that's apart of a season of show that is 26 episodes long.

Now, first thing to me is to throw part of this right back at them. I can't tell you how many military movies that I've gone to the theater to see with my dad (he likes military movies) and those movies will very often have advertising for one or two branches of the military before the movies starts. Plus, on the behind the scenes of military movies they will often talk about putting the actors through training and will gush on and on about how great whatever branch of the military is helping with the movie and it just turns the movie into pro-military propaganda which the conservatives have zero problem with, of course. Yeah, a whole two and a half hour movie of military propaganda and yet this is how they react to a one minute part of a 22 minute episode of a cartoon for kids.

Now, the part of this I really want to talk about that, for as long as I have been apart of the Transformers community, has never made sense to me. WHY DO TRANSFORMING ROBOTS NEED TO BE GENDERED TO BEGIN WITH??? I believe that these Cybertronians probably wouldn't have specific pronouns like he/him or she/her because they're just autonomous robotic organisms from the planet Cybertron. You know why I think people gave these robots genders at all? Because in G1, someone said they needed more diverse characters in the show/comics and thus they introduced the "fembots".

I'm sorry for the hardcore G1 fans but this design is horribly outdated and is just painful to look at. Why the hell did they ever design these characters this way??? Also, the problem is just G1 either but also it leaked into Transformers Prime as well.

Just tell me why all these robots have to have that stereotypical and wholly unrealistic hourglass shape to them??? To me, it's honestly more disgusting and revolting to see these character designs this way because the hourglass shape is just an unrealistic body shape expectation.

Look, I have not watched Transformers: Earthspark because I don't have Paramount Plus and don't want to pay for another streaming service just for one show. But, I don't see anything wrong with Nightshade wanting to have they/them pronouns because I believe that all Transformers characters should be they/them anyway and that they should do a serious redesign of these "fembots". Alien robots shouldn't have these hourglass shapes or angular chests to basically be implied boobs. If this makes people unfollow me then so be it but, I am all for Nightshade and am rooting for them to cause some sort of change in the Transformers franchise as a whole in the future. I may not have watched Earthspark and I hope that someday I can. I hope they release all the episodes on DVD or something. But, I know that regardless of that, I will definitely buy Nightshade's deluxe class figure because I am rooting for them. Keep it up, Nightshade.

Wheeljack

Always confident and calm ninja seems to be quite easy-going at the first glance, but the more you watch him the better you see that in reality he prefers being all by himself, and it demands time to earn his respect and affection. So, like Ultra Magnus, he would be very picky about who he would let inside of his fueltank. However, as far as he warms up to someone, he gets unbelievably chilly about swallowing his beloved team pal down. Need a place to rest? Feel scared or upset? Lonely? Just get in. He doesn't see any point in long ceremonies; his movements are slow and gentle, however it doesn't take much time for Jacky to push you down his throat with a satisfied hum. At the same moment, the part of the process he would adore is tasting; unusual, exotic human flavours would make his processor just buzz in bliss! Sometimes he would take his time a little, carefully, methodically licking a person in his mouth from head to toe, rolling and tickling them with a tip of his tongue, optics closed and lips smiling joyfully. Only when there is no dry spot on the human's body, he would title his helm back and let them slide further into his core. Wheeljack would never be shy to speak to his friends after they got in his fueltank; often he is watched by puzzled eyes of comrades while he's running around his business and talking to someone they can't actually see or hear. But he doesn't pay much attention on their reaction anyways...

As an addition: Wheeljack finds vore a perfect chance to take Mico with him and Bulkhead on missions without Ultra Magnus noticing anything. And he always manages to set her free right at the time when no one is able to see it. So, Magnus is repeatedly driven mad by this small, innocent tricks, although he admits human child's help is quite useful from time to time.

TFE (Earthspark)

Starscream

This mech with difficult, sarcastic, but secretly soft character would be a shy and nervous kind. He would be quite concerned about his tiny friend's safety; when it comes to gulping them down, the 'con is too afraid that he can accidentally hurt them if something goes wrong. And he is sure it will go wrong because he is too used to failings... Moreover: it's really hard to win his trust because of everything he has been through. That way, it would be not a simple task to convince this ex-decepticon that vore is actually a good thing. However, if you manage to go over with all the obstacles, he will be the most careful and wholesome pred ever. And once he completely understands there is no danger - an obsessively willing one. He wants to keep his human companion as close as possible, warm and protected from everything and everyone (especially Megatron). He can get a little teasy in attempt to see how you blush and smile - recognition of his human's pleasure makes his spark sing of happiness; but usually he would just coo at you softly, give you a light kiss in the forehead and then his smooth lips would slowly, but demandingly pull you into his salivating mouth. As a person with PTSD he always needs to have absolute control over the situation, something unexpected (abrupt movements, screams, loud laugh, sudden rough squeezing of his insides) extremely freaks him out; so, you better let Starscream take the lead and stay still. After his darling reached their destination, he would try to move less, not wishing to cause any problems to them. He would curl up in a tight ball, hugging his middle with both arms and stroking it happily, and speak to them softly until he and his prey both fall asleep.

As an addition: sometimes he have panic attacks and feel deep enxiety, so some reassuring weight inside of him would be required.

TF RID

Drift

This autobot is a tough guy which is quite strict to others as well as to himself. So, you shouldn't expect him being a sweetheart. Although the alien samurai never forgets about humans' fragility, his tiny friends are barely treated softly most of the time because they are members of their team like others; they have responsibilities and have to work on their best without excuses or privileges. He doesn't accept extreme sensitivity in anyone; in order to that, he can often hurt his little partner's feelings. I think in this case, vore for him would be a way to apologize for being rude and to show that his friend can trust him; putting them deep inside of his body, close to his spark would mean that whatever offensive things he says sometimes, he is always there for his precious comrades. Of course, his is a QUITE protective pred; if Drift understands that his companion isn't able to defend themselves, he will simply grab little one in a second and shove them into his mouth - such straight forward actions committed without any explanation can be shocking for a prey, but, unfortunately, they should just live with it; he won't change anyways. If you're his close friend or a lover, then perhaps he will go slightly easier on you; at least, he will be definitely more gentle and caring every time he is bound to send you down his fueltank.

However good control Drift has over his emotions, he isn't able to deny that he likes the entire process. When there is an opportunity, he loves examining his sensations; presence of a small life hiding in his very core has a comforting and relaxing influence on him, especially because of his protective instincts. These are the points why he wouldn't hurry to set his human friend free (not like they would be unhappy about it though). The samurai wouldn't tell anyone about where his partner is once they got tucked into his "stomach" (even to the minicons) because in Drift's opinion it could be shameful for both included; that way, when he is around others you can imagine that he has forgotten about you at all. It's not true. And the fact that even during the hardest battles he will keep you fine inside no matter the cost perfectly proves it. But he would pay attention on you openly only in private, far away from the team. Then he would lay one servo on his waist, caressing it delicately, and finally ask softly if you are OK in there. Afterwards, perhaps there would be a long philosophical discussion till the evening, when he would let you out to look at a beautiful sunset from his shoulder.

What if Starscream faked his death during the War, to join the Autobots as a ‘different’ person + finally escape Megatron?... What if Optimus/Ratchet helped Star, by Optimus pretending to ‘destroy’ Star with Megatron watching + Ratchet gives Starscream a different body/face afterwards... Would Megatron or anyone in the Decepticons, miss the ‘Dead’ Starscream? (Platonic or Romantic Megastar Headcanons?) 💖💔 (IDW + TFP + EARTHSPARK)

OOh this would be interesting for everyone involved, and it would be interesting seeing Starscream's change as well. as someone who left because of both megatron but his own lust for power, actually going back on his own ideals to become an autobot.

I think that at first, him leaving would really just want to get away from Megatron and also, find away to seize power on his own, but spending time with the Autobots would change him. Seeing how much care there is between Ratchet and Optimus, and seeing how much they love one another would make Starscream change his mind about what side he’s on and I think he’d agree to it. No lust for power, not wanting to kill Megatron, he just wants a better life.

During the war, I don’t think that Megatron would care. Starscream is a useless asset to him that he can care less about. I do think some people would miss him like Soundwave and maybe Knockout—but Knockout would probably be happy that Starscream was gone because of how awful Starscream treated him. I think that yeah, some would miss Starscream but for the most part, no one would think too much of him. Well, at least not at first.

I think Megatron’s opinion on Starscream would change as the war came to an end. While Megatron is getting tired of fighting and ends up seeing the end of the war is near, he’d reflect on how he treated Starscream. I’m taking more of a TFP stance here, like the whole Predacon’s rising narrative instead. What if Starscream was an autobot before that, and what if he was always working with the Autobots and Megatron happened to find him again during Predacons rising (well after the events). After Megatron goes into exile Starscream finds him. In his disguise that is, his Autobot disguise and they can talk. Megatron has actually been reflecting on Starscream a lot—he misses him, he’s sorry for how badly he treated him, he’d hurt. In his own exile he thought that Starscream was dead, and he wanted to say so much to him, so to see him alive makes Megatron happy, and from there, they’ve got a lot of work to do.

Starscream and Megatron basically make up. Megatron apologizes for his treatment of Starscream and Starscream brings up how they are the same. They were both abused, both clung to power because they didn’t want to be hurt again. If it’s something they can both recognize, and make a deal not to hurt others or themselves, then they can be friends and perhaps more—so happy ending.

IDW is kinda similar. Like, Megatron of course for a while doesn’t ponder on Starscream. After the Spotlight Megatron issue, I’d think Starscream would defect to the Autobots and fake his death. I think he is still secretly running the neutral bots, and he is still elected as Chancellor but anonymously. Things go as planned; there is a trial but Starscream isn’t ready to face Megatron yet, for obvious reasons. He still wants to keep himself a secret, and Optimus tells him for the best. Part of Starscream doesn’t know whether or not he wants Megatron to be executed, but stays silent. Like canon, Megatron goes off on the Lost light and Starscream runs Cybertron in silence. He thinks of Megatron from time to time. Meanwhile, Megatron thinks of Starscream as well.

Megatron has family, he has a second chance, he gets the love, support and redemption he needs. While he’s getting all of these amazing things, he can’t help but think of Starscream, the hell he put him through, and how Starscream himself never actually got that chance at happiness or family. Megatron knows that Starscream started off somewhat rotten, but he also acknolwedges that he contributed to so much of that, so he starts to feel guilty. He enjoys his life but he feels guilty. He misses him a lot, and starts to think about him every day. He writes letters to him that will never be sent, and just, wants him to somehow know how he feels. He knows it’s too late, but he still wants to tell him how sorry he is.

Little does megatron know that the chancellor who secretly runs Cybertron and who expunged all his crimes was Starscream, because Starscream also wants to see him again.

EarthSpark omg…I have so many thoughts on how this would work in Earthspark. I like the idea of of course, Optimus knowing and probably breaking Starscream out of prison earlier on. In my version of this, Starscream is the anonymous Deception leader on Earth, and it’s him who helps Decepticons break out of GHOST facilities and smuggles them from Earth to safer planets. In Megatron’s mind, Starscream has been dead for many years. Anyway, at first, Megatron didn’t care. He thought Starscream was an awful person and is glad he’s dead. But he starts to learn from him through others, Optimus specifically, who I sleeping Starscream’s whereabouts and current status a secret. But during their talks, Megatron starts to not just see a different side of Starscream but he misses him. Megatron also starts to realize just how similar he and Starscream were. Both victims of violent abuse, both took it out on others. Megatron realizes that if he himself has been forgiven and redeemed, then Starscream deserved that as well. But in his mind, Starscream is dead. of course he wants to talk to him, of course he wants to apologize to him, but he can’t find him. And he has so much he wants to talk about, but it’s too much to ponder on so he holds his tongue and keeps to himself.

• the next time you meet was when ghost had hired you ,, and then assigned wheeljack as your partner

• since then ,, the two of you had stuck together ,, laughing about the odds you’d see each other again

• the most you two did was tinker around ,, you helping him with spots he couldnt reach too well and all

• the first you two went out for a ride was when wheeljack was searching for his lost drone ,, which is how you met twitch and thrash later on

• though you kept that stuff secret from ghost agency ,, as bumblebee was also there and optimus didnt trust ghost with that information

• for the most part ,, you two stick together and are mostly away from others doing your own things

• wheeljack had been the first to confess ,, via an invention he made that may or may not have malfunctioned

• after that you two were closer than before ,, date nighte arent too often as youre both busy ,, but they do happen :)

• mainly it consists of you two just chilling together and talking about something random or showing wheeljack a show you had been wanting to seen

• pda isn’t something you two can do in front of ghost agents ,, they may be working towards a cybertronian-human relationship but lord knows theyd flip if you and wheeljack came out as couple

• the other bots know about it ,, optimus is happy for you two ,, megatron doesnt really say anything but hes glad that you’re not like most ghost agents and that the cybertronian-human relationship is getting somewhere 😏

• twitch and thrash call you parent2 ,, since wheeljack is already dad2 ,, bumblebee was shocked but he doesnt discriminate ,, sometimes telling you old stories of wheeljack and his many past incidents

• arcee just smirks to herself about it ,, before teasing wheeljack about it all ,, of course she also offers to beat him up if he does something to hurt you

• elita has pretty much the same reaction as arcee ,, but she also caves in and tells stories about wheeljack’s incidents as well

• your first kiss was one you initiated ,, making a sneaky move when he bent down to grab something from you ,, and you took the opportunity to place your hands on his face and give him a small kiss

• he was definitely flustered to say the least ,, letting out a few chuckles as he hid his face away ,, but he definitely loved it

• after that day he definitely craves for more ,, picking you up and kissing you all over your face ,, laughing as you start to complain jokingly

• hugs and cuddles are a definite <33 wheeljack is quite affectionate with you ,, not bothering which bot is around to see ,, he’ll pick you up and kiss you and smother you in his love

• he also makes inventions for you in his free time ,, 👉👈

• your relationship is quite healthy <3 lot of conversations happening and talking about feelings ,, if you’ve had a bad day hes there to listen and vice versa

• wheeljack also uses emojis ,, but not as much as optimus thankfully ,, hes more fond of the ☃️🌞🧗‍♀️🏎🧪 emojis ,, especially the rock climbing emoji ,, you dont have any idea why either

Saw a recent TikTok edit of Earthspark and I just-

It gave me thoughts I wanna talk about so bad.

I'm not that good at explaining my thoughts, so here's to hoping this makes sense!

‼️ EARTHSPARK SPOILERS BELOW ‼️

So!!!

In this edit (made by @/ andrealmorales28 on TikTok), it was mostly Starscream centered, and how Earthspark actually shows and references all the abuse Starscream received at the hands of Megatron, yeah?

And just- the entire interaction between Starscream and Hashtag. I gotta talk about it.

"Is this how Megatron treated you?!"

"...you...believe me?"

"I believe he hurt you."

AND THAT JUST BRINGS UP THE THOUGHTS.

The Terrans never really...got all the information on Megatron, right? Or got to see Megatron in action during the War? They just know that he used to be the leader of the Decepticons; the bad guys. And nothing else, really.

But Hashtag. Our internet, technical gal.

She has access to so many things. Movies, information, memes, tutorials, just anything and everything you can find on the internet.

Historical information.

Do y'all ever think that Hashtag could've done some of her own research further into the war? Possibly more-so after that episode where Megatron took them to that...memorial of sorts (can't think of the episode name rn, sorry)?

I mean, we also know that the comics are like...a canon thing in Earthspark. Comics that can possibly be found online. You think Hashatg read through those? And gathered information on Starscream and everything he experienced?

Like...all the Terrans sorta look up to Megatron and Optiomus, and all the others, yeah?

But the Terrans are smart kiddos. They know not everyone is simply just "good." Everyone has their ups and downs.

Idk. Just needed to ramble that thought out.
