It's fair
Star's situation with the vehicons would probably be "you go out, go on strike, fake collective death, whatever, I'll find a way to deal with the son of a bitch"
Soundwave is angry enough to go along and Optimus only agrees to the Vehicons' part because "he foolishly destroyed all of Cybertron, don't fucking overestimate yourselves."
The prime team is suffering a lot of whiplash and they don't like it
TFP Starscream is also something to consider...I've seen him move in with IDW starscream, in his universe, once, maybe something similar?
You're right, that's probably his dynamic with them, and Optimus is right
Tfp Megatron's thing isn't just brute strength, as we saw with the Insecticon scout, it's also his smarts. We don't have tfp Optimus's experience with him available here.
... But. Tfp Megatron is also lacking two of his greatest resources, tfp Starscream and tfp Soundwave
Who are, as established, in the earthspark universe with Optimus and the earthspark crew :)
I'm imagining tfp Optimus, just like with earthspark Optimus, immediately goes to the earthspark autobots, and he's surprised by how many humans are working with them and the "no longer in disguise" part trips him up
I'm expecting tfp Starscream and tfp Soundwave are absolutely avoiding humans like hell, since they're at disadvantage
I'm imagining tfp Starscream tries to slot himself into that missing "decepticon leader" slot going on in Earthspark, which has mixed results. As again the war is over there and very few of them are keen on restarting it.
