While I write my next fanfic, I thought it would be nice to share some of my...

MegaSound headcanons!

♡ Not officially married, but they are the embodiment of an old couple that has been together for over 50 years.

♡ They sleep on the same berth.

♡ Soundwave always wakes up first, grabs some energon cubes for him and Megatron and wakes up his husband to have breakfast together before leaving to do their duties.

♡ Sometimes, when Soundwave is working, Megatron just lays his head on him in silence to make him company.

♡ Soundwave records almost everything they do and plays the clips to himself everytime he feels lonely.

♡ Usually Megatron is the big spoon and Soundwave the small spoon when cuddling because of their size and built difference, but sometimes Soundwave likes to be the one to cuddle Megatron when the warlord has a hard day. Visual representation of everytime Soundwave tries that:

♡ Megatron didn't know how to be affectionate with Soundwave at the beginning, so he would pat him in the head to show his love to him.

♡ Megatron purrs when he is extremely happy. Guess who is the only one who knows that.

♡ They both love music and Soundwave has a playlist of Megatron's favorite songs.

♡ Most of the time, Megatron has a light sleep, waking up at the minimal sound. But when he recharges near Soundwave, nothing can wake him up.

I think reader. Would has been with the decpticons for a while, and everyone knows she has a shorter fuse than megatron.

And that's saying somthing.

I think megatron would actally try to tred carefully around reader

Since she is the only cybertronian (besides optimus and predaking) that can hurt him

When she does get angry, megatron will tell reader to go calm down.

Rip starscream if he is caught by her

Starscream

Starscream would actally fear reader.

Just because she reminds him of megatron.

He would ster clear of reader at any cause.

Unless he is paired with her.

If he is, he will try everything to stay on her good side.

He will remmber his place if he pisses her off.

Rip starscream 2x.

Knockout

He will know how to help reader.

He will tell reader ways to help her calm down.

Reader will probably go to him and breakdown to calm down.

Best friends.

They would still walk carefully around her though.

They ain't Immune to readers rage.

They throw starscream underneath the buss.

Rip starscream 3x

Breakdown

Same thing with knockout.

But instead of self care, he would help reader get rid of rage thru fighting and training.

Breakdown now has a spar buddy.

BFF's

He will keep his distant if reader is upset since he knows he can be thrown around.

He throws starscream underneath the bus to.

Rip starscream 4x

Soundwave

He doesn't talk so he can't get reader mad.

Overwhelmingly compelled to design a TFP based Soundwave for an AU ending to the show

War ends with a whimper rather then a bang and both sides end up having to try and rebuild society and Cybertron together tenuously.

Soundwave ends up finding a middle ground between his gladiator frame and his stealth frame because he no longer needs to leave the space in his armor for where his minicons used to be, since only laserbeak survived. So he gets some of his bulk back. And even though there are no factions anymore, he keeps his Decepticon sigil and rank placard still on him. It's an honor and loyalty thing.

Transformers: Prime Decepticons - Hands

So, I was looking at hands, as one does when they’re bored, and I noticed a few things:

Every single ‘Con has claws, except Soundwave and Breakdown.

Megatron, Starscream, Shockwave, Dreadwing, Skyquake, Knockout, and Airachnid have 5 fingers.

Soundwave, Breakdown, Insecticons, Predaking, Darksteel, and Skylynx have 4 fingers.

Vehicons only have 3 fingers.

Predacon claws are flawless in form and aesthetic.

While I know Soundwave has spindly fingers for practical reasons, it’s the perfect symbolic representation of how he declawed himself for the sake of the Cause, giving up much of his power to follow Megatron.

Kudos to the character designers for crafting each Decepticon’s hands to match their function:

Megatron, Dreadwing, Skyquake: Sharp and wide for various combat situations

Soundwave: Thin and straight for work with computers and tech

Starscream: Light and “bony,” perfect for a flight frame

Shockwave, Knockout, and Airachnid: Sharp and delicate for scientific and/or medical work

Breakdown: Wide and blunt for brute force attacks

Vehicons: Useless

Insecticons: Wide and curved for digging and slashing

Predacons: Sharp with additional armor plating for evisceration (help I love this word so much)

The Autobots could only dream of having hands this masterfully crafted ✨
