Endlessly tickled by the idea of Akira being a good shot but a shit gamer. I like to think its cause hes got incredible hand eye coordination and super steady ‘surgeon’ hands; hes very good with precise movements, but panics when he has to do brain melting inputs. His brain can keep up but its hard to make his hands follow suit. Its why u can have him be dogshit at arcade cabinets; panicking with the little joystick and button mashing like mad, while having him be a beast at things like darts and billiards.

The only arcade games he can play is house of the dead-esque shooting games (hes literally at the top of the leaderboards for MILES and he draws crowds whenever he plays) and DDR cabinets (hes just very light on his feet)(NOT to be confused with stepmania; he would die if he had to do arrow inputs with his HAND). Its kinda fun to watch him fumble with the other silly gimmick cabinets, but its more entertaining to watch him do what hes good at. If u take him to play darts, and if the darts are super cheap, he will absolutely try his best to split them down the middle each time. Doesnt always work, but its insane to know that he lands the bullseye literally 100% of the time.

ryusumi thoughts/ficlet:

Adult thieves shenanigans. A bunch of the PTs go out to a club for Ann's birthday. Sumi is vibrant and flourishing on the dance floor. Ann giggles about it being hard to keep up with her energy, but for Sumi, dancing is like breathing. It's effortless.

Ryuji is content to sit back and gawk. He leans against a railing with a drink in his hand, enjoying the music and all the very attractive dancers that keep rushing by.

Ann smiles and waves, she's just glad he was able to make it. Sumi notices him still standing there and a fire erupts behind her eyes. She marches over with a devious smile, though not threatening. Ryuji gulps all the same.

"C'mon, senpai! You've been a wallflower all night!"

Her nervously rubs the back of his neck. "Eheh... I'm not really much of a dancer. Ma says I've got two left feet or somethin'."

"Oh, that's not true!" she argues with an inaudible stamp of her foot. Ryuji wonders how on earth she's still able to dance in heels that high. But they do make her legs look very nice- "Anyone can dance. I'll lead you. Let's go!" And she grabs both of his hands to pull him out onto the dance floor. Amongst all the spinning lights and the heat of bodies.

And just like she said: she leads. She takes it easy at first; bouncing to the rhythm of the music and swaying side-to-side. The nervous coil in Ryuji's chest begins to unwind. Sumi beams like a spotlight, and what little thoughts were left rattling around in his head come crashing down in a fiery blaze. Damn, was Sumi always this cute?

She steps closer, heat rolling off of her like the sun, and Ryuji sputters. He misses a step, and curses his stupid feet. They only know how to run. But Sumi doesn't scold him, or even wince when he may have definitely totally stepped on her toes. Ryuji ducks his head low. "S-sorry!"

Sumi's warm hands find his waist and ground him. "It's okay! I'm fine!" People rush the floor as another song starts, and the room turns inescapably small. Sumi is suddenly pressed against him, her cheeks as flaming red as her hair.

The mob moves around them, but Ryuji is stuck. He needs to say something. Anything, you dummy! "Sorry. Uh, I'm... really bad at this..."

She blinks up at him through her bangs. A little smirk tugs on her lips that she must've learned from Ren, or maybe even that jerk Akechi. "Skull-senpai... what happened to all that metaverse confidence?"

Well, yeah. In the metaverse he was a Phantom Thief. The first mate. He was cool and strong and never-Oh. Oh, right.

Ryuji meets that fire in her eyes and thinks that maybe he can learn to dance, after all.

[Cut to Ann at the bar pointing and feverishly swatting Makoto's arm. Yusuke is inspired by their silhouette. Haru is taking photos for leverage later. Shuake are making out in the bathroom because you can't take those two anywhere.]

ryusumi can have a little “heterosexual fast dancing.” as a treat.

So this is a very random question but are there any foods that Riku could easily and happily eat loads of at a time?

To explain the sudden question, my friend linked me to a video of a show with the seiyuu that was suggested to you for Riku, Nobuhiko Okumura I think his name is??? But yeah, he and a few other where doing a challenge where they had eat a desert every minute for 45 minutes and omg it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Like he starts off so strong (And I mean strong, this man straight up inhaled a slice of cake in two bites) and then you just slowly start to see his soul leaving his body. I would send you a link but I accidentally deleted the tab so it's gone forever... But I think the channel was called something like Abema??? If I ever find it again, I will let you know.

But yeah anyway, I was watching it and thought "why can I so easily imagine Riku doing something stupid like this?" Like he got dared to enter a competition like this so his stubbornness comes out and he has many regrets afterwards. So yeah, if he were to be talked into doing something like that, what foods would it require to persuade him? Or would it not take much persuasion at all?

And honestly? Thanks for reading my insane ramblings, this was probably one of the dumbest things you've ever had to read so thanks for taking the time ��️

OK first off thank you for sending me this, I absolutely ADORE when anyone asks/talks to me about Riku no matter how dumb they might think it is because as we all know I love my little scrunky and the fact that y'all come up/think about fun scenarios or facts or whatever with him makes my day so again thank you!!!

SECOND to be honest Riku is a real foodie so he's very much one of those "I'll eat anything" kinda people. I haven't really thought about any specific food he loves (although I could see him really liking cheese lol) he absolutely adores his mom's cooking and always asks for seconds. In terms of desserts and treats though I feel like he's a cookie guy :]

Third HELP I LOVE THAT IDEA SO MUCH?? I can imagine it really wouldn't take much to convince because as I said he's a foodie and he has a sweet tooth so of course he would be down for something as ridiculous as that 💀. A scenario that is starting to form in my head is like: Riku happily says that he would eat any kind of dessert and Akiren is like "oh really 👀 I don't believe you" and Riku is like "alright bet give me some desserts and let's do this". I can also imagine Ann would take part in the challenge because she is more chaotic than people think (also Riku brings out that side in her) AND she's totally doing it out of solidarity for one of her best friends and not so she has an excuse to eat as much desserts as she likes 💀. Either way both of them and their stomachs are regretting it big time but hey they had fun 💀

Hello! This is very sweet, thank you UuU Ryuji is definitely one of my favorites (although there are only a few of the main p5 cast who don't make that list)... I think he is such a good right-hand man for Ren. I really love "bro" character types and he fits that niche perfectly while also being so genuine and kind and silly like a high schooler should be. I think his confidant story is very well-done too, I wish we'd gotten to learn a little more about his relationship with his mother, makes me super happy

Simple but classy. As it stands, he can't really do anything big or fancy and the Daidoji sure as hell won't let him do many dinner dates if any at all but he makes the most of it. Probably gives you a bouquet of your favorite flowers and a heartfelt letter.

Majima Goro

A chocolate thief is on the loose in Sotenbori and his name is Majima Goro. If a giant heart-shaped red velvet size box appears on your doorstep, it's from him. He might even be in it. Open it and find out.

Saejima Taiga

A mix of getting you some gifts and making you something handmade. He's typically torn between two strategies: making you a handmade gift and taking you out to dinner or buying you a gift and making you dinner. Heads up, he will at some point make a handcarved wooden figurine or statue for you one of these years.

Akiyama Shun

You'd think it would be beyond human capabilities for this man to get any sappier than he is but somehow he does it every time. A class act with just the right amount of cheese. Dinner, flowers, the works. You can't tell if you're just that starry eyed over this man or if he actually just fucking sparkles.

Tanimura Masayoshi

Can't afford too much on his salary, but he'll make you an adorable custom basket of all your favorite snacks. Will totally pull some strings at Homeland to get the restaurant open to just you two.

Ryuji Goda

Can afford whatever the hell you want and has no reservations about doing so. However, he DOES have reservations at your favorite restaurant with a bottle of your favorite wine, alongside one of every single favorite item of yours on the planet. Always gets you a piece of customized jewelry.

Nishikiyama Akira

Always gets you a customized bouquet of flowers. Actually pretty into the arrangement and colors and is particular about getting yours just right. Might just even make one himself one of these days. Also gets one of those customizable chocolate boxes or a luxury bag.

Daigo Dojima

Are roses and candles cheesy? Yes. Cheesy is also Daigo's middle name when it comes to Valentine's Day. Man's straight out of a 90's romcom. Probably got the idea from a 90's romcom, actually. Will also be down to watch a 90's romcom with you. Seriously, he prefers a cozy night in anyways.

Mine Yoshitaka

Same vibe as Daigo but sluttier. Seriously. He's a champagne and bubble bath type of hoe, followed by what can only be described as mind blowing sex. Out of all the boys, he's the one who's most likely to have sex on Valentine's Day.

Tatsuo Shinada

He will try his hand at baking you some homemade goodies. Be warned, the first few attempts will be a little wonky. He's doing his best though! He can't afford much so he likes to do homemade things. Would also be down to bake or cook something with you if you're into that.

Ichiban Kasuga

He'd take you on a date that includes all of your favorite activites and your favorite places. As long as he's spending time with you, that's what counts. Will totally end the day by just blurting out something sappy and romantic but would he be Ichiban if he didn't?

Yu Nanba

Likes to do something relaxing, particularly if it takes you two away from the city. Nothing like the peace and quiet of the countryside so you two can be as close as possible. Probably would take a weekend to go to a hot spring with you.

Adachi Koichi

Will actually ask you to be his Valentine. Total cheesefest with this guy. Type of fella to hold a rose between his teeth and say something dumb like "Hey babe, come here often?". In terms of activites, he doesn't have much beyond a nice dinner planned but his personality just oozes goofy, silly love.

Tianyou Zhao

If you thought he'd be doing anything other than cooking you an overly extravagant dinner all by himself, then you'd be dead wrong. Man's out here cooking all your favorite foods, baking your favorite desserts, and making them unbelievably pretty and fancy. He's out here making roses out of the freakin' dumpling pastry, for cryin' out loud!

Joon-Gi Han (Y7)

Sweetie boy is doing his best. Gets a nice cake with a custom message on it, or takes you to an adorable cafe and eats a bunch of sweets with you. Also, yes he's dressing in matching outfits, duh!

Joon-Gi Han (Y6)

This boytoy is taking you to the biggest, fanciest club in town and ordering the biggest, fanciest bottle of champagne they have. Also one of the boys who is likely to get down and dirty on Valentine's Day.

Osamu Kashiwagi

Total class. Years have given him enough knowledge and expertise to pull off a classic Valentine's Day without a hitch. Thinks of everything, from the flowers and dinner all the way down to what color tie goes best with what color suit that would match best with your outfits. Lots of kisses on the back of your hand.

Akiren choosing to wear a wedding dress for Akeshu/ShuAke wedding:

very late Part 2 to this post below:

I've had this sitting in a Google Doc for a while, I've just been too lazy to post it

(Mementos Mission Manga Scene Spoiler warning)

So while Unapologetically spoiling myself on Persona 5 content, I came across a Manga Spinoff called Mementos Mission. There's a scene where Akira (Protagonist’s name in the Manga canon is Akira Kurusu), teams up with Akechi on an investigation and he's advised to come in disguise and Akira’s version of disguise is “Oh, I just happened to have a female cop uniform in my wardrobe, along with curly hair extensions, lipstick and makeup. I'll wear that.”

Akechi reacts like most people would, and after recovering from a laughing fit, questions what the heck he's wearing.

And Akira is so nonchalant about it “You said to come in disguise and this is what I had on hand 🤷‍♀️.”

The outfit is also available as a DLC costume pack in Persona 5 Dancing In Starlight.

Point is, Akiren canonically crossdresses and has no issue with it.

So what if he willingly wears a wedding dress to an Akeshu/ShuAke wedding scenario?

Originally, the Wedding Dress option was just supposed to be plan B. If for some reason the Metaverse proves to be too dangerous to hold the wedding and they're forced to have it in the real world, Akira could just crossdress as a female and take the role of The Bride.

Luckily Metaverse Wedding is manageable enough. During the private dressing process the Girls took it upon themselves to play Bridal Boutique for Akiren.

Fast-forward to the Wedding. Akechi is waiting at the altar, Grim Reaper officiating (it was originally supposed to be Yaldabaoth but Grim showed up and it seemed letting him be a part of the ceremony was the only way not to get K.O.ed by him). Random assortment of shadows sitting in the crowd that the group managed to convince threaten to attend. Sophia is playing the role of the pipe organ, humming a wedding tune. Ryuji is one of Akiren’s best men, Yusuke is busy in the role of Wedding photographer—-um, “Artist”. Since cameras don't work in the Metaverse, Yusuke has to hand photograph the moments by painting them which he is more than enthusiastic about, this man is going to paint the most detailed works of art ever, who needs a silly camera?

Morgana is on ring bearer duty. unfortunately since Sojiro can't enter the Metaverse, Cop PeePaw Zenkichi Is playing the role of “father that gets to walk Akiren down the aisle”

Jose is the flower boy.

Sumire is one of the girls not playing “Bridal Boutique” and is instead one of Akechi's best—-women? She felt bad for him barely having any Bests on his side so she insisted. The rest of Akechi's Bests entourage consists of docile cognitive beings of Sae Niijima, and a couple of his agents.

Since fashion isn't her area of expertise, Futaba also willingly opted out of playing Wedding Boutique and stood next to Ryuji in Akiren’s Bests line up, along with Lavenza.

Akechi didn't have anyone close to walk him down the Aisle. Shido was an obvious no go. “Absolutely Mcfucking Never In This Lifetime Or In Hell, Docile Cognitive puppet version or not” - in Akechi's own words.

So Igor happily decided to fill that void. The long nosed hunchback was an unsettling sight for Akechi but Akiren reassured he's a decent dude.

The moment comes, doors swing open for the second Groom to reveal—-

Akiren in full wedding dress and veil, hair extensions to further sell the feminine look, along with black lipstick. He's wearing a casual warm smile, absolute zero sense of shame in this man.

Zenkichi and Ryuji do double takes, Futaba bursts out in a fit of cackles.

Behind Akiren, the girls, minus Futaba and Sumire, stand behind him, all with varying expressions from defeated, embarrassed, and holding in laughter.

“For the record, we didn't force him to wear this. Once we managed to convince him that wearing his Shujin school uniform is not appropriate attire to get married, he suggested a wedding dress. Despite us explaining it's not necessary and a Tuxedo will do just fine, he was already picking out dress options, so we just went along with it.”

“He also pulled black lipstick and curly black hair extensions out of his pocket and ominously claimed “My time has come.” He wouldn't give us an answer as to where he got them from, I can only assume they've been in his pocket all day.”

Akechi just lets out a defeated sigh, and facepalms. Oh, that's right. His soon to be husband is a fucking dumbass

A lovable, amusing, cute, undeniably sexy dumbass, but a dumbass all the same. But—--he wouldn’t have it any other way.

It didn't even need to be close to exam week for you to be with him, studying.

The boy was trying his best!

Doing his homework with you and stuff.

Today you were helping him with some extra work Yukio gave him - according to his little brother, Rin's grade were too bad and he needed extra lessons to fixate the subject.

you had explained it to him a couple of times and was just watching him do the quizzes.

You were exhausted. You had recently come back from a mission, but you insisted on helped Rin.

Yukio only gave two days to finish the regular work + extra, so...

You were peaking over his shoulder to take a look at his answers.

At time you would make him questions to confuse him on purpose - If he truly learned, then he would be able to correct you or question you.

Which he did fairly ok.

As he went on getting the quiz right you started to feel your heavy.

It didn't help he was really warm - like a fuzzy blanket.

You also felt safe, much so people dismay.

You soon fell asleep.

Rin notice your lack of replies as he asked you a question.

He turned his head to see you leaning on his shoulder.

Your cheek were pressed against the side of his arm and you were snoring lightly.

Rin chuckled to himself calling you a silly person for coming to help him even though you were so tired.

He also felt his face burn and reach 5 shades of red. But his stare at you was very kind and loving.

He thought a little bit what he should do - stay still or carry you to his bed?

He finally made his mind that allowing you to rest on his bed would be the best for your back and neck.

Rin gently lifted you on his arms and placed you as carefully as he could on his bed.

You showed signs of being kind of awake, but Rin soon soothed you while covering you with a blanket.

By the time you woke up, Rin was fast asleep on his table, but all of his assignment were done. A bit wet from his drooling but done.

Your turn to place a blanket around him.

And so you went with Kuro to fetch something for you three to eat.

Shima ( Renzo)

You were helping him study to catch up on a pushiment that Yukio gave him - to a write a massive essay about a very rare and specific demon.

The boy could be a massive coward at times and have a terrible grade.

Other times he was oddly brave and clever, go figure.

Renzo was whinnying the whole time about how unfair this was - he wasn't the only involved in the incident, the other boys were there too!

You sighed and hit his head with rolled paper sheet - no use complaining now, what is done, is done.

You were helping read the books to gather info on this demon, but his attention wasn't that great, he often flirted with you.

He eventually complained you were being too cold with him by just giving the books some attention.

So you decided to sit next to him - shoulder touching shoulder.

This made him blush a bit and get his ears red.

The boy still played it cool, kinda of.

Being this close you pointed out things for him to take note about the demon.

It was a lengthy and tiring process.

Finally he had all the notes, just had to write in an essay shape!

While he was at it, Renzo would sometimes chitchat about something with you.

You were leaning your head on the palm of your hand and soon enough your eyes got heavy.

You ended up dozing off and your head slightly leaning on the boy's shoulder.

The sudden tough made him call for you.

No answer. No called again and looking to his side, only find you gently leaning on his shoulder sleeping.

Renzo laughed to himself, he thought you were so so cute for dozing off like that.

He tried to stay still to best of his powers!

Often times he would think about grabbing our other hand - it was in sight and not far.

Just imagining how nice it would be if he could actually hold your hand....

These thoughts made his ears go red and silly appear on his face.

He allowed you to stay there until you woke up.

By the time you did he, once more, tried a picked up line along of " i didn't know you felt THAT safe, maybe i am your knight in shinning armour"

Which you replied by going red, slapping his head and walking away.

Completely worth it, on his eyes. Your cute blushing face was the high point of the day.

Ryuji

Neither of you needed that much help studying.

You met Ryuji in the school's yard.

He said he had to study "in peace" which probably meant he wanted to be alone or away from Rin and Renzo.

You offered to make him some company!

He reluctantly agreed, to your surprise - as long as you stay quiet, that is.

You decided to read a book while he studied on the yard.

At first you were seated next to each other, but then with time you ended up leaning on his shoulder.

Ryuji was surprised by feeling you lean on his him so suddenly, to the point of complaining about it.

You giggled and explained your reasoning.

As a response you got a sigh from him and a red ear, even though you couldn't see it.

The shade of the trees and the breeze made you fall asleep.

At one point Ryuji called out to you, he wanted to stretch a bit.

You didn't reply.

He called again and look at you, only to find you slightly snoring sleeping.

He sighed again and just watched you for a moment.

His face heating up.

The boy finally decided to let you be.

His arm was tingling, but you looked awfully peaceful.

It took him a while to go back to studying - you were so distracting.

When you woke up, Ryuji teased you without taking his eyes out of the book - " hey, you up sleeping beauty?"

the reason why his eyes didn't raise from the book is because his face would burn at the sight of you.

I am adoring some of the tags i got on that goro ref. They are all correct. I knew what i was getting into when i decided to give him the tumblr sexyman treatment 😭 I do want to stand my ground tho, to say that i do think goro is a wet napkin of a human being. A disaster. Overly competitive to a fault. Exceedingly cocky. This is someone who said ‘i do bouldering’ as like a flex and immediately had haru shut that shit down and say ‘hmm doesnt take much strength to do that :0’. Someone who cant handle spicy food and scarfs it down anyway. He snores like a truck when hes sleeping and scares himself away when its too loud. He claims akira has fake glasses and mocks him for his dedication to his perceived appearance, and then pretends hes not doing the same thing when he does interviews. Nothing fucking fits him so its either Too Big (sweater) or too small (everything else). His idea of unassuming is Big Round Soft, so he is just a teddy bear to most kids. He unironically screams about ripping shadows apart and genuinely thinks he is Fine :)

not that anyone would care but what if i went in depth about how personal my hc/analysis of ryuji being bi is. which is way more than about him sitting silly or talking about meat in a sus way btw. what if i talked about how he is so steadfast in his ability to be attracted to girls that it seems like he plays it up to way more than it actually is to compensate due to being in some sort of denial and how i, a bi, relate to that phase so much. or if i mentioned how he seems to misjudge romance and intimacy as something removed from friendship, that it's about being popular with girls, and how he equates it to something to be won because of fame instead of a natural relationship, and that the way he acts about this DOES NOT PROVE that he somehow only likes girls because it's not actual romance. if anything it does the opposite. you all should know comphet you idiots

what if i explained how all his actual, close friendships and relationships are much more within the scope of being romantic than the "won from popularity" option ever was but he doesn't really understand that or think it's possible. maybe because he can't differentiate much between the differences in his ability of attraction between the different genders among his friends... and how as a bi person i went through that so absolutely and truly. what if i described how much chemistry he has with all of the PTs and ESPECIALLY yusuke and akira/ren how he feels like he can be HIMSELF around you how he is FREE that you're his place to BELONG and he thinks maybe there's a place for you next to him too. Propaganda under the cut

Pairing 1: Protectshipping (Ryou Bakura/Hiroto Honda|Tristan Taylor)

Propaganda: Tristan’s so loyal and dependable, and he pays more attention to Ryo than probably any other character does, and it’s what Ryo needs after everything he’s been through. He’d listen if Ryo wants to talk about his troubles, he’d remember little random details about him, and he wouldn’t make a big deal about these things, but they’d mean so much to Ryo, and he’d let Tristan know how much he appreciates his efforts. I also think it’s interesting how Ryo looks soft and gentle, but is also really strong and brave, while Tristan looks tough (and can be), but is more sensitive than he’d probably like to admit. A lot of Protectshipping fics are more about Tristan taking care of Ryo, which makes sense and I love it, but I think it’d go both ways - Ryo would want to be there for Tristan if he was going through a difficult time, and I like the idea of Tristan being able to confide in him, especially post-canon when the Ring’s gone and he’s doing better mentally. He might still have some trouble putting his feelings into words (as we saw in chapter 7), but Ryo would be patient with him and let him say whatever he needs to, and I think he’d give pretty good advice too. I just think it has the potential to be a really tender, caring relationship, and they both deserve that. ^-^

Pairing 2: Snareshipping (Katsuya Jounouchi|Joey Wheeler/Ryuji Otogi|Duke Devlin)

Propaganda: They would make an amazing couple and would definitely get married | They plague my mind every waking moment. Their chemistry is insane and theyre both so hot. | They look cool together n have that playful sorta rival dynamic. Also dog costume dont forget that XD

Ryuji

He thought this was stupid. He thought it was so incredibly stupid. But Joker and Mishima told him to go for it. So he sighs as he buys a lime from the supermarket, not even knowing what he's going to do with it afterwards. Maybe if things go badly then he'll just torture himself with eating it.

Ryuji sees you and forces a smile onto his face as he tries to calm down. His face is already red from embarrassment because he knows this is unbelievably cheesy and he turns around and watches Joker and Mishima giving him thumbs up from where they're hiding and Ryuji sighs and turns back to you.

You greet him, give him a smile that is way too cute for his heart to take and he takes a deep breath before showing you the lime that he had in his backpack. He stares at the fruit and sighs before looking to your curious face.

"This is my best pickup lime…" he says, trailing off and knowing that he probably looks like an idiot. There's a moment of silence and he's about to just laugh it off, but then he hears you starting to giggle about his dumb joke. His heart feels lighter and he smiles at you as you tell him the line was silly. He just shrugs and asks you if it worked.

"Well, I'm not sour about the pick up line. I actually thought it was pretty sweet," you say and he chuckles and shakes his head. But he has to admit that this is a very sweet outcome.

Could I request some specific x reader thing? Like, I saw your latest post and ik you didn’t write headcanons before so just pick whatever form you find the easiest (and drop one character if you don’t want to do both)

This might be very specific but like, can I get something about a reader who used to be very sporty and graceful but has had a bad injury that kind of affects the way they walk and their balance. They don’t say it but they are secretly self conscious over it. They still do sports and stuff but they worry about never being enough again (and also ppl making comments about their limp). For characters that would be paired with the reader, I was thinking Mishima (love him sm🩷) and, unsurprisingly,, Ryuji (it’s a bit silly but this character helped me a bit to feel better about my situation)

Mishima :

You stood in front of the diner in Shibuya, looking around with your bag on your shoulder and your phone in hand. Yuuki had texted you he’d be here in 5 minutes, exactly 5 minutes ago. You kept glancing at your screen, checking to see if he had texted you again.

You usually tried to keep an eye on your surroundings, but you must’ve been too focused on your phone to see the crowd of people rushing into you. You tried keeping yourself up, but it was no use - you felt yourself falling over, almost resigning yourself to your fate before a pair of arms clumsily held you up.

You looked to your side to see Yuuki, looking frantic and panicked as he slowly made sure you were back up on your feet. Just as you were about to thank him, he held you by the shoulders and yelled.

“Are you alright?!”

After taking a second to recover, you chuckled and held onto his arms.

“I am, no need to worry.”

He looked you over worriedly, and finally let out a sigh of relief as he saw that you were indeed alright. Yuuki brought you closer to him in a hug, which you returned.

“Should we go inside? I don’t want you to get hurt if someone bumps into you again.”

He offered as he pulled back, taking one of your hands in his bashfully.

“I’m not that fragile, you know… But sure, let’s go.”

He pulled you up the stairs behind him for your date. Yuuki could be a little too protective when it came to your injury, but he ultimately just didn’t want it to get worse for you.

Ryuji :

Dating Ryuji naturally meant accompanying him on his runs, when he felt like practicing.

Today was one of those days. You both sat down on a bench as you handed him a water bottle, which he thanked you for before drinking practically half of it.

Your chest heaved with your breaths, trying to calm down the ache in your body as you took a break. Ryuji was sitting next to you, massaging his leg.

“You okay?”

He glanced at you upon hearing your question. He flashed you a grin and a thumbs up, reassuring you with a nod.

“Yeah, no worries! I can keep going. What about you?”

You nodded too.

“Same here. Just need a short break.”

He hummed in acknowledgement, offering you the water bottle back. You drank a bit, and not long after, you two were back up and running for another lap.

Really, you probably could’ve gone longer before your injury, and the same was true for him. Still, you two enjoyed doing this together, going at a rhythm that you were both comfortable with.
