I'm not sure if it's some kind of episode, overstimulation, burnout maybe my seasonal depression is kicking in- or if I'm starting menstruation all I know, but it's been a rough month... Maybe it's all of the above, who knows.
All I know is I just need to write out my feelings just a bit, to let some feelings out, you get it?
Art. I'm starting to despise my art with a firey passion. My writing too, I can't finish a damn thing and all my writing and comics go to waste. I'm letting the people who took the time to follow and like, and enjoy my work down.
Theres so many good TMNT artists out there- and great ROTTMNT writers too! I just wish I were up there, I wish I could actually give people content they want. I feel my art is just- nothing compared to all my mutuals and the people I aspire to be.
The worst part is, I thought I was improving. I thought I could be better and get better, but it's just... There. It's nothing, no improvement. I try so hard to draw characters to perfect, try to stick to the right patters and keep to each characters personality so desperately, and I'm only grasping at straws.
Anither this is my OCs. Tamsin used to be a Self Inster that I loved! She's a character that projects some of the things I wish I had ×20.
But now, it feels like sometimes I can't stand to look at art of her. She's just- some other plain, self insert that is in way too much of my stuff when I should just stick to original material.
I know people don't want to see more than just this basic, plain, little to no personality character. I wish I could give that- I just don't know where to start.
I... I'm not having fun. That's the whole reason I wanted tumblr to share my art, and to just wing it and not care what ANYONE thought, as long as I was doing what I loved, it didn't matter.
But here I am, just feeling kinda down in the ditch down a river without a paddle, and it sucks ass.
I think I'm gonna take like- a day or two break from drawing any TMNT stuff. I'll still be online and reblog all that jazz just... I really don't want to draw for a hot minute anything that involves ROTTMNT.
Its been what? Only a month or two since my last burnout post? I know, I'm kinda a lazy ass in this department. For those of you sticking around, thank you so much and hopefully you'll get some art out of me sometime soon this week, just need a bit of time to myself before my self confidence smacks the floor.

More rottmnt oc stuff!! I have so many sketches of her, but I’m a little scared to post them haha. You can read the explanation/ backstory under the cut!
Basically, Lee actively keeps up her shapeshift magic to make herself look more human, but it cannot last forever, especially not after overuse.
As a child, Lee grew up alone on the streets of New York City, unaware of the more welcoming society of her kind just below it. Not yet knowing about her ability or the Hidden City, Lee was constantly in her true form and had to deal with humans shunning her and calling her a monster while trying to survive.
Due to this trauma, being in her true form makes her extremely uncomfortable because of the memories and believing after being told so many times that it makes her look like a monster.
Eventually she befriends Mikey who helps her face her demons, after which she slowly starts being in her true form more casually.

A bit of vent, warning:
I had a breakdown a few days ago, related to my art. It was bad. I broke and threw away a good portion of my painting and drawing tools. I thought things that I never thought before, things that I would never think with a clear mind (which I obviously didnt have at the time).
But afterwards, at night, I found one of my sketchbooks, now empty of used pages. Found my favorite ball pen.
And did art of some old furry men snuggling. Peak performance. I wish all my breakdowns ended with cuddling furries.

Well...
Its official, gor my first ever, full blown burn out. Decided after the fact I didn't have the energy to shower for 2 days it's time to take a little break.
I feel guilty for wanting to leave yall without anything new, fresh that maybe didn't involve an OCs dump- or to give you some stuff to enjoy and look at- but I also know it won't do much for my mental health if I don't get it in check first LOL.
Ill be kinda mute on Tumblr for a day or two, maybe expect me to post something (Probably my Mikey and Niccolo Comic) either Saturday, or late Friday- maybe Sunday?

Guess who downloaded Among Us.
I know it's kind of a dead meme at this point, but it's pretty fun as long as you don't get stuck with the wrong people. I love being a crewmate, especially when I catch an impostor. I hate being an impostor because it's stressful. It's exciting, but I'm a horrible liar. I've gotten away with some dumb stuff, though.
Anyway, have this drawing. It looks kind of bad because I drew it in the dark during a movie we were watching in my psychology class.

Introduction
Hello! Our collective names are Cage/Kage/CK, though we don't mind being called Echo or Koi. We are a fan of Undertale, TMNT, SAMS, Samurai Rabbit: The Usagi Chronicles, and more! I) We collectively go by They/them, It/Its, or Neos
We write fanfic, and draw. The two current fics we're posting are 'Love You 'Til the Blood Dries and the Bones Decay' and 'The Sun Wants to Set' [currently going through a rewrite] (aha this part is outdated but theres too much we're writing to list it all)
