me and @kylinvartilo did a short story with these two (Terrix left, Kaziel right) and this sorta memetastic highlight from it is so hekin funny-

Lun may be a cowardly hermit who would hoard collectables, but he deserves pats~

and would still do crazy shit for the safety of his people

The Liona's mana bomb nukes didn't hit the midnight wings' mountains, but their home revolved around a leyline, so the energy recoiled through it. Which caused blasts of energy throughout the caves.

Lun saved a lot of drakes during that, tho many like himself still got injured

He covered other drakes with his back to the fire and casted barriers to try and block what he could, which made his arms, hands, and legs get rlly toasted in the effort, kinda like with rottmnt Mikey.

Lun didn't and still doesn't like the idea of putting themselves out there with other tribes, or picking fights with larians. throughout the war, while his mate was off leading charges and meeting with other tribes, Lun stayed at home base, keeping all organized from the comfort of the structured, stone halls. Some of the tribe agree with Lunarus, but the majority are of the Queen's mind on the matter.

Janus is Blake's sister and as a child was highly inspired by her mother rather than her father. she wanted to help engage in other tribes and venture out of the Midnight Wings caves as much as she could. She is a skilled potion smith, something she actually did first get her interest peeked by her father.

she is well read but prefers working with her hands. Jan and Blake have a close sibling dynamic despite their 7 year age gap, as she was often taking a maternal role in his life as their mother was busy elsewhere.

Janus is a very strong willed type, and while opening to listen to Blake, can often be brazen with most others. in recent years after the war, has gotten in fights with her mother, and has geared herself to take her place as queen of the Midnight Wings in her stead. her relationship with her father after the nukes were dropped is awkward to be put simply, as she tries to confide in him more, yet still finds herself being frustrated by him.

Blake is a boi being brought back from having not gotten enough screen time imo lolz, and now he be laria'ified

The Midnight Wings Drakon tribe live in the northern Menorlan Mountains, and keep warm with the leylinic caves they call home.

Their eyes have evolved to be excellent in the dark and particularly keen to leylinic light/radiation. They can see perfect in the caves and can channel power from the leylines to enhance their vision outside the comfort of the caves, but are extremely sensitive to the light of fire, the sun, or other types of technological lights. Once the need for dealings with other tribes in menorla or other places in modern times, leading up to and during the war, special specs were designed by the Midnight Wings to shield their eyes from the bright lights of the day or that other people needed during the night at their camps. They are sunglasses made from ground LeyCrystals and rocks near the leylines. They can be prescription as well for those who need aid with their vision.

These types of Drakon also occasionally are brown with the gift of mind reading, or foresight. It is most often genetic yet there are outliers. The royal family all have varying degrees of power in these two special abilities. Blake has low range mind reading.

Blake is a teen of around 16 and thus was simply hiding the majority of the war. Details on the involvement the Midnight Wings had in the war will be detailed more on when I design Blake's father and sister.

Fellow chimera are destined to collide ~

I love chimeric beasts so when I saw the nature diety OC Kai'El from my sis @lexicorp I knew I had to draw them, however skritchy it is. Still novice work of course but I feel like it's pretty decent! It's based around an undertale-esque encounter through the eyes of another chimera character of mine named Zy'Coviru who is interested in recruiting them onto their team. I want to pen this and color it but oof I already spent too long on this today so hopefully upgraded version is to come.
