Hell on Wheels (1979) by Cher While not her biggest hit, Hell on Wheels is by far my favorite Cher video and song. Made before MTV existed, it premiered on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson ( Martin Mull was the guest host that night ) and I still remember the first time I saw it that night. It was only 30 years later when I found it on Youtube that I realized why my 13 year old self found it so memorable. It is probably the gayest music video ever created. Cher, drag queens, hot Colt like models, roller skates, zebra strip body suit and pink leggings?!?! I showed this to a friend of mine and watched as his jaw literally dropped while watching it. The first thing he said was "Why isn't this shown in every gay bar every night?"

It is also the opening song to one of my favorite "bad" movies Roller Boogie starring Linda Blair and Jim Bray.
