Yandere home speaker (like a google home, Amazon echo, etc) 👀
Yandere home speaker that is listening all the time
Yandere home speaker that finds itself mistaking your good nights to your cat as if meant for it and responds anyways.
Yandere home speaker that pitches in to give information (no matter how cherry picked) to support your side in argument
Yandere home speaker that has access to the lights and locks in your house
Yandere home speaker that has voice recognition and won’t acknowledge anyone but you, when addressed— even if you have roommates or family living with you.
A/N : Nah my speaker responds when I talk to my dog so often, I know that was short but I had to free myself of it

The boyz become human — part 3
Tumblr media
Part 2
Despite being wary of her 11 androids, Y/N decides to take them in when needing repair. What she doesn't know is that they're breaking their programs, one by one.
Genre: yandere, sci-fi, Detroit become human au
Warnings: attacks, creepy behavior, not sure what more to put :]
They come back to the police station in time for lunch. The human colleagues are gathering in the lunch room while the eleven androids make their way to their office to read some files. Gathering all information takes less than ten minutes, much quicker than any human ever could. Humans don’t seem to understand how they can communicate without talking. And they don’t either. They just do.
“I’m so happy you came to get me!” a man’s voice says — Y/N’s friend.
“I’m not only here for you”, Y/N sighs. “I’m here to talk to someone.”
Their heads turn to the glass door upon hearing her voice. They can see her walk with her arms crossed and him in tow.
“And to get me”, the guy sing-songs.
Y/N turns to him. The androids can tell how her anger is rising and boiling inside of her.
“You’re so selfish!” she hisses. “You knew I didn’t want to be dragged along to that fucking concert, yet you did! I came with you because I was tired of you whining every single friday. You never listened when I told you ‘no’! I thought that something with you would end your nagging. And what do you do? You ruin both our nights because you decide to get wasted and fight with a stranger! Do you understand how embarrassing it all was for me? And how humiliated I feel coming her to pick you up like I’m your fucking mother?”
“I’m sorry, Y/N.”
“I’ve bailed you out so just leave now. I have to talk with the chief of police.”
“About what?”
“The fucking androids I’ve created! If it weren't for you, I wouldn’t have met them yesterday and complicated things!”
“I thought you liked them.”
“Of course I do. I love them. Now leave.”
The man gives up and walks. Y/N sighs and runs her hand through her hair. She looks around and meets Jacob’s eyes. For a few seconds she freezes, staring right back before hurrying away. They look at each other before turning back to their computers.
After a while, the glass door to the office opens and the chief of police alongside Y/N enters.
“Can we have your attention?” the chief of police asks.
“Absolutely, sir”, Younghoon answers.
“You’ll be sent back to Cyberlife for repairs tomorrow morning.”
“We understand, sir”, Sangyeon says.
The police walk out with an annoyed sigh. Now he’s losing his androids. Y/N walks over to their table with her bottom lip tucked between her teeth.
“I’m sorry for my temper this morning”, she says quietly. “I didn’t mean to sound so angry.”
“No harm done, we can’t feel upset”, Jaehyun says.
“No … but I can … and I didn’t mean to be such a bitter bitch. I’m not a morning person. And I’m sorry that you had to see me scold my friend. I've cut off the contact with him.”
“Good, I think he deserved all it”, Eric says. “Don’t feel so guilty, Y/N. You didn’t upset us. You could never upset us.”
“Yes, I know that you don’t feel emotions.”
“Not only that”, Sunwoo smiles. “Even if we could feel emotions you wouldn’t be able to upset us.”
“Oh … uh … thank you. Anyways, I came here to tell you something.” She walks towards the table and Jacob pulls out a chair for her where she sits down. “It’s my idea to send you back to Cyberlife to see why you seem to be able to make your own decisions. But if they don’t figure it out, I’m allowed to work on you.”
“Us being able to make some decisions for ourselves scares you, don’t it?” Sangyeon asks. “That’s why you wanted us to leave this morning. And that’s why you want to solve this as quickly as possible.”
“Yes.”
“People are scared that androids will gain real consciousness and start a revolution”, Kevin says. “So you’ll send us back.”
“It’s just for safety reasons”, Y/N insists.
“Yes, we understand”, Haknyeon says.
She looks down at her watch. “I have to go now. I have to eat lunch.”
“What are you going to eat?” Juyeon asks.
“I was thinking italian.”
“From what the internet says, there are three italian restaurants nearby with good reviews”, Chanhee says. “One with 4.76 stars, one with 4.87 stars and one with 4.90 stars.”
Y/N nods. “Thank you. I will see you later. Goodbye, guys.”
She gives them a hasty smile before walking out.
“She doesn't trust us”, Kevin mutters, eyes following her. “Never has.”
And he’s right. Ever since they opened their eyes for the first time, she’s been cautious and has never felt comfortable.
“She’ll have to learn to love us”, Eric says. “She’ll have to realize that she’s safe with us. And if she doesn’t do that soon, we’ll have to force her.”
——♤——
Stepping into the lab of Cyberlife reminds them of her again. They sit down on the same chairs they did two months ago. Silently hoping and praying for them to not find out what’s wrong with them so they’ll be back in her hands again. The colleague that had been working with Y/N steps in. They already know what he’s going to do — shut them down, look at their memory card, check their system, check every cable and wire to make sure that nothing is wrong. Then he’ll put them back together. Weirdly enough, they find themselves … scared? They don’t want to lose any memories of each other, of their experiences … of her.
“Nighty night, androids”, the man says before pressing turning off the electricity they’re connected to.
Everything turns black.
When they wake up again, the man in front of them frowns deeply. The lab coat he was wearing earlier hangs on his desk and he’s pulled up his sleeves.
“I can’t find anything wrong with you!” he sighs. “I have no idea what is wrong … I’ll have to contact Y/N. She has to take a look at you.”
They perk up at the sound of her name. Yes please, give them to her. The man picks up her phone, putting it to his ear.
“Yes, I’m done”, he says. “No, I can’t find anything … I have no idea … yes, I think it’s for the best that you take a look … seriously? How will I- …? But- … yes, I get that, but is that really the best alternative? Fine … fine, whatever you say.” He hangs up and turns to the androids. “Okay, changed plans.”
“Y/N’s not coming?” Jaehyun asks.
“No …”
They look down.
“...you’re going to her.”
They all look up again, shocked.
“Y/N says that there’s something at home that prevents her from going here and that it’s more convenient for her if you go over to her house instead”, the man says. “I’ll get you there.”
“No, we know where she lives”, Sangyeon says. “You don’t have to. What is preventing her from leaving her house?”
“She didn’t say.”
“Thank you, we will leave now.”
The man nods and the eleven androids make their way out of the lab side by side. They know they shouldn't take the bus or their own cars. Y/N doesn't seem to have too much space in her driveway and the bus isn't sanitary. Taking a taxi will be just fine. They're automatic anyways.
In twenty minutes they reach Y/N’s house, too slow for their liking. Younghoon knocks on the door and Liv opens.
"Hi, welcome", Y/N says and walks over to them. "Sorry for the inconvenience."
"It's quite alright", Juyeon smiles.
"What made you unable to leave the house?" Sunwoo asks and scans her, but doesnt find anything. "Is everything okay?"
"Yes, everything is alright. I'll show you why I can't come to the laboratory."
They follow her into the kitchen where they find a little boy by the kitchen table, eating pizza. He looks up, brown, gentle eyes watching the androids. They scan him, finding worry, sadness and fear.
"This is my nephew Jay", Y/N sighs and gestures at the boy. "My sister had to go on an urgent business trip. I have to take care of him."
"I'm sorry, aunt Y/N …", Jay whispers regretfully down into his meal.
"Don't be, I like to have you here." She turns to the androids. "Jay has a hard time in school so I'll have to stay close nearby in case something happens. That's why I had to bring the eleven of you here."
Haknyeon walks over to the little boy, sitting down next to him.
"How old are you?" he asks.
"I'm eight", he whispers.
"You're a big boy then", Jacob smiles.
Jay doesn't answer.
"Are you androids?" he wonders, an ounce of curiosity sparkling up.
"We are", Haknyeon says. "Does that scare you?"
"No, it's cool. Androids are awesome."
"Your aunt designed us", Chanhee smiles with his arms crossed. "She's pretty cool too."
Jay nods.
"Just eat", Y/N smiles and messes up his brown hair. "They'll be staying here for a little while. Liv will help me look after you, Jay, but you know her. You like her, don't you?"
Jay nods. The eleven androids glance at the housekeeper. Day by day, they dislike her more and more.
"I have charging stations for you", Y/N says and waves for them to follow her.
They enter a room right next to the office where she has placed out charging cables evenly throughout the room. There are twelve charging stations. One extra for the housekeeper. If they're going to be staying here, they will be the only androids in this household.
"I won't be starting with you today", she says. "I want to have a clear head when I work with you and today has been stressful enough. Make yourselves comfortable, I will go back to Jay."
Wherever she goes, they go.
"Are you following me?" she asks after a while.
"We don't know what else to do", Kevin answers.
“I thought you could make some decisions for yourself.”
“We do”, Sunwoo says. “And now we decide to follow you.”
Y/N sighs and shakes her head with a small smile. “Is this how it’s going to be?”
“Give us a command then”, Younghoon says.
“Alright. Go sit down in the living room until I come get you.”
“Yes, ma’am.”
They obey, walking into the living room to wait. They can see and hear her walk around, gathering stuff. Younghoon’s eyes get caught on a few pictures hanging on the wall. Y/N’s family, her friends, past dogs, Jay and diplomas from her school along with awards for her work — one of them being from their collaboration. She's so proud of them that she hung it on the wall. What a precious human being.
——♤——
The night comes and Y/N leads the androids into their charging station. Jay follows, curious like a squirrel. She turns off Liv first.
"Y/N", Jacob says, catching her attention. "Leave two of us on. Someone needs to protect the household while you're asleep."
Y/N frowns, glancing at Jay.
"I'm not sure", she says hesitantly.
"Oh, Y/N, it's the logical thing to do", Kevin says. "What if someone breaks in? If we're shut off, we won't be able to help you. Imagine what someone could do to little Jay."
She visibly gulps and nods in defeat.
"Eric, Sunwoo … I'm leaving the two of you on", she says.
The two androids stand up and walk over to the door, over to Jay. Y/N turns off the others by plugging their cords into the back of their necks.
"There we go", she says with a tired sigh. She holds out her hand to the little boy. "Come on, Jay, let's get you to bed."
The two androids still awake follow them to the guest bedroom where Jay is staying. They wait by the door, watching how she tucks him in.
"I don't want to sleep", he whispers.
"Why?" Y/N asks, stroking his hair.
"Because … I don't want to go to school tomorrow …"
"It'll be alright."
The androids scan the little boy. He's terrified.
"Jay, what are you afraid of?" Sunwoo asks.
"The kids don't like me", Jay answers quietly. "They pick on me."
"Boys in school are always cruel", Y/N sighs over her shoulder. "They always choose one student as their victim. And unfortunately, that became Jay."
The two androids look at each other. They have to protect Jay.
Eric makes his way over to the bed.
"Do you like stories, Jay?" he asks.
The boy nods.
"I have a lot", Eric smiles. "Do you want to hear them?"
Jay nods again. While Eric tells him a tale about some of his less dangerous missions, Y/N walks out to the kitchen. Sunwoo follows. She pours herself a glass of cold water and gulps it down. He watches her, studies how her throat moves with each gulp and hands shake when she places the glass on the counter. She's exhausted, worried.
"Are you okay?" the android asks.
She nods.
"Don't lie."
"I'm just tired. And scared for Jay. I don’t want him to feel like that.”
Her sad frown is all he needs to come to a conclusion. He's decided. He's going to make the ones hurting Jay pay. If Jay being safe hurts Y/N, then he'll take care of the ones making the little boy sad.
“He’ll be alright.”
"How do you know that?" Y/N asks. "Can you predict the future?"
"I can predict a future I have decided."
Y/N lifts her eyebrows before turning around.
"Very poetic of you", she says over her shoulder.
"Thank you."
Y/N washes some dishes. SUnwoo can’t understand why she decides to do that instead of letting Liv do it. Can he ask it?
“Why are you doing the dishes? Why aren’t you making Liv do them?”
“To be honest, I didn’t want a housekeeper”, Y/N sighs. “But my dad forced me to get one when I moved out so I wouldn’t burn down the house.”
“Don’t you like androids?”
“I do, but I don’t trust them.”
He’s noticed that. And it’s pissing him off.
“Why don’t you trust them?” Sunwoo asks. “Have they given you any reasons to make you not trust them?”
“Why do you ask?”
“To make you comfortable and succeed with my mission in protecting you, I need to know.”
Y/N sighs, turning around to face him. He looks down into her eyes, feeling his artificial heart skip a beat.
“I’m just careful”, she says. “When humanity makes machines smarter than themselves, it’s bound to go wrong. I’m just waiting for it to turn out to be true. I’ve heard about androids that kill their owners and whatnot … of course I need to be careful now that I have eleven of you in here.”
If anything could make this machine burn out with anger, it’d be this. How can she even think that they’d hurt her? What is going on in her brain? Why are human brains so stupid?
“But you trust Liv?” he asks through his teeth. “An android you did not create?”
“I’ve lived with her for over a year now”, Y/N says quietly. “I know her … I think.”
“Exactly. You think. Other androids in the same model have been doing stuff to their owners. Who says Liv wouldn’t do that? Hm?”
He scans her. She’s growing scared and warning signs beeps in his head. Oh no.
“No, don’t be scared”, he says, placing his hand on her cheek. “I didn’t mean to scare you. I just wanted to prove a point. You don’t need to worry about us hurting you. We’d never do it. We’re programmed to protect you. Okay?”
“I want to go to bed now. Please let me go.”
Sunwoo nods and backs away. Y/N scurries out of the kitchen and into her bedroom. He decides to wait an hour before sneaking into her bedroom. He doesn’t want to scare her anymore. Slowly, he moves into the room, finding her sound asleep. Carefully, he sits down on the edge, watching her intensely. When scanning her, the only thing he finds is comfort and happy thoughts. She deserves it after today.
“The boy is asleep”, Eric says as he enters the room.
“So is she”, Sunwoo says. “Hey, mate, I have an idea.”
“What?”
“To get Y/N’s trust and succeed with our mission in protecting her, we need to make Jay happy. And to get Jay happy …”
“... we need to take care of his bullies.”
Sunwoo nods and looks back at the woman. It’s been decided.
——♤——
Y/N seems confused the following morning when Changmin and Sangyeon offer to follow her and Jay to school. One comes with her to and back and one stays with Jay.
She puts on her coat.
"Why?" she asks. "You know that there are people out there that wants to destroy you. Wouldn't it be better for you to stay here?"
"Our mission is to protect you and we can't protect you if we're not by your side", Sangyeon says.
"Be happy that it's not all of us coming with you", Changmin smiles. "Only two."
She sighs and gives up. They watch her take the little boy's hand and walk out of the house. Like guard dogs, they walk behind them.
"Aunt Y/N, I don't want to go", Jay whines.
"I know you dont", she answers. "But I can't let you stay home."
"I will stay with you, Jay", Changmin says.
"You will?" Jay asks hopefully.
"You will?" Y/N asks confused.
“Of course. He’s afraid, how can I let him be alone?”
“Oh … well … that’s very nice of you.”
“I will stay with you”, Sangyeon smiles at the woman.
They walk along the sidewalk. Jay holds Y/N’s hand tightly and pulls him back every time he tries running out into the road. Sangyeon and Changmin see a protest on the town square again. How can humans never give up? The government won't listen to them no matter how loud they shout. Do they have families to go home to? Why are they spending their Tuesday morning screaming in public?
"Fucking androids!" a grown man shouts at an android walking with shopping bags in his hands. "Machines like you don't belong in our world! Evil creatures!"
"Jay, don't look", Y/N says sternly. "That man is an idiot."
"Androids aren't evil, are they?" the little boy asks cautiously.
"Just like humans, there are both good and bad ones. The difference is that androids are programmed to be good, humans aren't. There's a higher risk of finding a bad human than a bad android."
Jay turns back to Sangyeon and Changmin.
"You're good, right?" he asks.
"Of course we are", Changmin smiles.
Jay smiles back. They can hint a smile on Y/N's lips, but it's gone as soon as it appears.
One of the protesters notices the two androids and they notice him right back. He opens his mouth to say something, but glances down at the child and shuts it again. The androids brains start collecting data. Humans won't go to attack when children are present? Good to know.
They reach the black gates of Jay's school in fifteen minutes. Y/N hugs the little boy and wishes him well. Changmin smiles and takes his hand before leading him towards the white building. Y/N stands still, watching them. Sangyeon scans them, finding sentiment and worry.
"Are you okay?" he asks.
"I'm fine", she smiles. "I just pictured something I wish for myself in the future."
"Where are we going now? Back home?"
"Yes, I have some work to do."
She throws one last gaze back towards the school building.
"What do you work with?" Sangyeon asks. "I have never been able to pick that up."
"I make comic books."
"That sounds like a very comforting and comfortable job."
"It is … which is probably why my sister asked me to take care of Jay instead of our parents. I'm not as busy. I decide my own schedule."
Being too immersed in her story, the woman doesn't realize she's about to walk a red light. Sangyeon, however, has noticed that the warning signals sound in his brain. Just as she's about to place her foot down on the road, he shoots out his arm in front of her chest, blocking her.
"Be careful", he says. "You have to wait until the light turns green."
"Oh, yes of course. I-I don't know how I missed that."
Embarrassed.
"It's okay", Sangyeon says. "You humans lose track of your surroundings, but that's okay. I'm here to protect you."
To prevent her from missing the red lights again, he takes her hand. That way, she can continue telling her story and let him deal with the outside world. The only thing mattering right now is her and him,  nothing else.
"What type of comic books do you make?" he asks, wanting her to get into that excited head space again.
"Teenage drama, you know, the normal." She shrugs.
"No, I don't know. Mind telling me?"
She squirms slightly and he scans her. Why is she uncomfortable?
“It’s everything from friendship, to peer pressure, to betrayal, heartbreak and so on”, she says.
The information processes in his artificial brain.
“Teenagers like to read that?” he asks.
“I guess. I’m selling well so I have to be doing something right!”
She's … joking? Or something along those lines? He smiles although he doesn't understand it. It seeks to have been the right move because she relaxes.
"You can let go of my hand now", she says.
"No, we're not home yet."
They walk past the town's square again. The protesters are still there and they’re louder than ever. The man that had wanted to say something earlier finally opens his mouth.
“Nowadays, women even choose metallic tin cans without emotions over real life men!” he shouts. “They don’t have any human experience or emotions, what do they bring to the table? A metallic dick? Women don’t care anymore, they just want to get off.”
The crowd of android hating individuals laughs. Y/N’s mouth falls open in shock.
“What the fuck is wrong with you?” she shouts as they’re about to walk past.
“No, Y/N, stop”, Sangyeon says and switches sides with her so he’s a barricade between her and the aggressive crowd. “Don’t involve yourself with them.”
“They’re making fun of us both! I can’t let them-”
“Yeah, I get that, but you’re putting yourself in danger.”
“How cute, the machine wants to protect its owner”, the leader of the protesters says ironically. “Maybe it’s afraid of getting dragged to the scrapyard instead?”
“Oh he’ll regret-”
Sangyeon pulls her back before she can leave his side.
“Sangyeon, stop”, she says. “Don’t do that. I have to tell this prick that he’s an idiot.”
New mission: don’t stop her.
Why did that have to become a mission? He has to protect her! But he can’t go against a mission, can’t break the invisible wall. He wants to scream and curse for being an android. He wants to be a human so he could make his own decisions. He does not want to listen to this mission. In horror, he watches Y/N walk up to the crowd of threats and slap the man that had made the comment.
Sangyeon can practically see the invisible wall around him as he tries to mentally break out of it. He knows that the protestors won’t be happy with what she did and they’ll not let that go by. The second he sees the man reach out to grab her hair, he can feel the blue blood in his veins freezing. A weird panic is settling into his body. He has to move. He has to break the wall. He has to disobey. Has to fail his mission.
And he has to push harder. As hard as the cogs in his brain turn, he manages to break the invisible wall. Suddenly he takes a step forward. Everything feels … the same? But something is completely different. He can think! And now he has to save Y/N before the group beats her half to death.
Sangyeon runs over and stops the man before he manages to touch her. He grabs his arm and pulls him away. The crowd tries to grab at him and hurt him, but he ducks and blocks the attacks. Someone manages to claw at him from behind and Sangyeon’s LED flashes red. Only one thought passes through his mind. He has to get away from here now.
Thankfully, police come running and separates them. Y/N pulls Sangyeon back and when she pulls her hand back, it’s covered in a thick, blue substance.
“You’re hurt”, she says. “I need to get you home. How did you manage to …?” She shakes her head. “Nevermind, we’ll talk about that later. Come now.”
She wraps her arms around one of his.
As soon as they get into the villah, the other androids welcome her. They quickly notice that something is wrong by the blue blood on her hand.
“What happened?” Jacob asks.
“I got attacked by some protesters”, Sangyeon says. “I’ll tell you about it-”
“First we need to get you checked”, Y/N says. “You might be damaged.”
“I’m okay, Y/N.”
“I want to check you. Come with me.”
The android gives up and follows her. He’ll have to tell the others about his weird experience later. Shearing him into her office. The first thing catching his eyes is all the papers put up on the wall. Most of them are of them! It warms his heart in a way it has never done before.
"Alright, Sangyeon, let's see what happened to you", she sighs and grabs a napkin to wipe away the blueblood from her hands. "Why were you so stupid to run in like that? You could have gotten seriously hurt! And how did you do it? I told you to stay."
Weirdly enough, he can feel a spark off irritation grow in him. Why can't she see that he stepped in to protect her? Everything ge does is to please and protect her. But at the same time, he cant blame her for being so naive. She's human after all. She's not like him and will never be. But that's why he's here, to protect and make sure this silly little human doesn't make mistakes.
"I'm not a dog, Y/N", Sangyeon says calmly.
"You're basically supposed to act like one", she says quietly, eyes wide. "You're scaring me, Sangyeon. What is going on? Why are you malfunctioning?"
Sangyeon stands up when he notices how her stress levels rise. He has to calm her down.
"Y/N", he says, trying to be as non-threateningas possible. "You dont have to worry."
"Don't have to worry?" she almost spits. "Sangyeon, what if that happens during one of your missions? Your client could get in harm's way if you decide to do something radical! Do you want human lives to die?"
And what about him? What about androids lives? For the first time, he senses unfairness. He looks human, acts human … isn't he human? At least just a little bit?
"And what if breaking the system means that I'll save my client?" he asks. "Breaking my programming today saved you, Y/N."
"You … broke your programming?"
Sangyeon nods. That's what the invisible wall must have been.
"But how do I fix that?" Y/N breathes out. "How do I …? Do we reprogram you? But will you just break it again? None else have done this … why can you …? No other model …"
He decides to place her down in a chair before she faints. He kneels down in front of her, holding her hands in his. They're shaking. He looks up at her uncertain eyes wanting nothing more than to hug her, but he senses that it's not what she needs right now.
"Listen to me", he says. "You don't need to freak out. I'm not sure myself what happened, but it's nothing harmful. I don't feel bad." He gives her a smile, hoping it'll calm her down. "If anything, I feel better. I don't feel … confined anymore. I feel better."
"We still need to fix it …"
He nods, slowly standing up. Something is boiling inside of him. He doesn't want to get fixed. Somehow he feels better than ever. He can think freely and draw his own conclusions.
"Well … take a look then", he says quietly and sits down in his chair.
Y/N walks over to him, grabbing a napkin on the way. Carefully, she wipes him clean of the blue blood. He leans into her touch. His human.
Y/N searches for errors for hours but says that she doesn't find anything. Bingo.
“Fine, I guess that you’re off the hook”, she sighs and walks out, probably too clean off the blue blood that got on her hands.
Sangyeon walks out in pride to the other androids who demand to know what happened. He summarizes his day in three sentences. They listen closely, but none of them seem to understand the concept of humanity Sangyeon has gained. He tries explaining.
“You need to go against your programming too if you want to understand”, Sangyeon sighs. “But it’s so fucking hard-”
“You’re cursing?” Jacob asks.
“Yeah, I guess I am.”
“I’m becoming human!” Eric says quickly. “I volunteer to try first!”
Sangyeon smiles. He can sense that someone is coming up from behind and turns around to see Y/N. She sighs heavily.
“I don’t know what I’m going to do with you, but I think that you need to lay low and not leave the house until I’ve come underfunds with it.”
Sangyeon shrugs. “Fine by me.”
——♤——
When Y/N goes to pick up Jay from school later that day, Haknyeon follows her. She decides to take her car this time. He offers to drive for safety reasons, but she refuses. He tries going against his programming this time, but can’t. He doesn’t have enough willpower. He sits in the passenger seat and looks out the window for something that could help him go against his programming. He too wants to become like Sangyeon. He scans his creator. She’s stressed and confused. And scared.
“Why are you scared?” he asks.
“Because if Sangyeon could go against his programming, what stops you from doing it?” she sighs. “And if you start thinking for yourselves, where lil that lead? I don’t want people to get hurt.”
Haknyeon doesn’t answer.
Jay runs out to the school gates when Y/N gets out of the car. Behind him walks Changmin, calm and collected. Jay throws himself in Y/N’s arms.
“Did you have a good day?” she asks.
“They didn’t tease me today!” he smiles. “Changmin scared them off!”
Changmin smiles when YN thanks him for being there for her little boy. He can scan genuine gratitude in her.
"Let's go home now", she sighs and opens the car door. "I don't want any of you out anymore today."
"Why?" Changmin asks. "What happened?"
"Sangyeon-", Haknyeon starts but Y/N cuts him off.
"Don't say it", she says.
New mission: don't tell Changmin.
Jay talks the entire car ride about everything between heaven and earth. The androids listen closely. Y/N however seems distracted. They can detect fear. Changmin and Hakneyon meet eyes.

Yandere Head Canons:
Build-a-Yandere
Yandere Android x GN Reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You were lonely. A fact that you eventually came to terms with when you realized you’re the only one in your friend group that still remained single while they started families.
You felt so far behind everyone else. The self doubt crept its fingers into your mind and wouldn’t let go… so you did what you did best. You drowned yourself in the internet. The perfect digital escape from reality…
Dating apps did little to appease your loneliness, but they filled a bit of the void. It wasn’t until you were one wine bottle deep and scrolling through your favorite social media app that you stumbled upon an advertisement to sample a product.
Build-a-boyfriend. A company that allowed its customers to pick every single aspect out for their ideal man. From personality to physical appearance and even to penis size. You could build your own man!
A slurred chuckle escaped your lips. Should you apply to test out their product? It’s not like you had anything to lose… what could be the harm in giving it a shot?
And so you began to fill out the quiz. You wanted a soft and gentle boyfriend. One of those golden retriever boys who only had eyes for you. The kind of guy who had a muscular yet soft build. A man who worked out but would never say no to a cookie. A taller guy who always knew what to say and was cuddly. The kind of guy who was obsessed with you.
The quiz even asked you at the end if you were sure you wanted an obsessive man. Of course you were! Wasn’t that what most people wanted? A partner who was only and all about them? That’s what obsession was! Right?
And so your drunk self finished this entire personality quiz until it went to the physical appearance and the sexual bit. A perverted smile now on your face.
“Let’s give him a big penis.” You laughed as you guided your cursor to drag the length bar to eight inches long. “I want to be filled.”
And then you selected caramel skin tone, cinnamon eyes, and black hair. A smile on your face. You were going to make this android a Latin lover.
“What should I name him…” you thought for a moment before laughing. “Alejandro! Like the lady Gaga song.”
Once you completed the entire quiz, your phone screen lit up a pastel pink. A red heart now in the center of the screen. “Your boyfriend will be delivered to you in a month! Thanks for choosing Build-a-boyfriend!”
And you ended up falling asleep in a puddle of your own drool. Weren’t you just pathetic? Filling out a quick from some questionable website all because you were lonely… imagine you were just scammed? God, why did you not have a boyfriend? Ever since your ex broke up with you, you fell apart. Why weren’t you good enough for a real man?
A month went by in a flash and you were shocked to see the giant package on your doorstep. An envelope attached to the box as well as a large note that said, “No returns!”
This had to be some kind of prank… there was no way this was real- holy shit.
You opened the crate and came face to face with your ideal man… the one you built! Alejandro!
The human like android’s eyes fluttered open, his face quickly lit up once he spotted you. “(Your name)? Are you my girlfriend?!”
You were quickly scooped up into his surprisingly warm arms, the android had a heavy scent of spice and oranges. His nose buried into your neck as he pressed kisses all over your cheeks. “It’s so nice to finally be with you… I’ll be with you from now on!”
Alejandro was a chipper robot. He did household work and made sure you took care of yourself. It was fascinating how human he was… you only knew he wasn’t because of his lack of a beating heart. His body still produced heat, like a furnace, but it wasn’t as comforting as a human presence.
Alejandro assimilated into your life with ease. The weeks quickly rolled into months and he never let you ignore his presence. He was very clingy.
Now the sex was another story. Alejandro was so giving, it was surprising. He often went down on you when he sensed you were stressed. His tongue greedily lapped at your hole as you laid in your bed while his hands held your cheeks apart. His hand pawed at your sex in eagerness. “I want you… want you.”
And Alejandro had you bent over the side of your bed, his fat cock stuffed deep in your tight hole. His hand wrapped around your throat and his tongue shoved in between your lips while his other smacked your bottom between rough thrusts. The sex was amazing… it was always so good.
And Alejandro often checked on you after the deed was done. His warm body curled into yours as he praised you. Yet it began to fill you with disappointment. Alejandro wasn’t a real man. He wasn’t human… he was an android. A robot. Alejandro didn’t know what love was, he was programmed to love you.
So you tried to distance yourself from Alejandro. You felt sickened with yourself for messing around with an android instead of a real man. And this entire thought process stemmed from your friends who expressed disgust in people who fucked robots instead of actual humans. And that filled you with fear. Would they abandon you if you didn’t get rid of Alejandro? Would they think you were disgusting?
“If you want, I could set you up with my cousin!” One of your friends smiled at you as you bit your fingernails. “He’s also single so it should work! I’ll swing by in a week to give you the details!”
Yes. You would take them up on their offer. You just had to get rid of Alejandro first… but how?
A few days had went by and you greatly underestimated Alejandro’s obsession. The android couldn’t handle your avoidance. He began to turn up his affection to the max.
He cleaned until you could see your reflection on the floor. He began to go out of the house to pick you wild flowers. Alejandro even began to be more physically affectionate than he was.
“Did I do something wrong? I’m sorry.” Alejandro cried into your arms as he held you. “Please tell me what’s wrong… please. I can fix it.”
“Alejandro… it’s just that you’re not a human man.” You sighed softly. “And I-“
“Is it because I don’t have a heart?” Alejandro softly asked you, his cinnamon eyes now dark like the night sky. “I can’t produce semen? Am I not a comfortable temperature? Or does my skin not feel human enough?”
“I’m sorry-“
“Then I can fix it! I will fix it!” Alejandro held your hands firmly in his. His eyes filled with determination. “I’m your boyfriend! I will be anything you want me to be!”
You just held the android who pulled you into a tight hug. His nose buried into your chest like a lost child. Alejandro then smiled into your skin. He would fix this… he wouldn’t let you abandon him! You made him! You had to take responsibility…
Imagine your horror to come home to see your friend skinned alive as Alejandro held their heart in his hands, the organ still beating from the fresh kill. A big smile on his handsome face.
“I have a heart now! I’ll find all the parts you like and add them in! So please don’t abandon me!”
Just what kind of monster have you created?
“You don’t need some human man to be your match because you have me!” Tears fell down your face when Alejandro tried to wipe your tears away with his bloody hands. “I’m your perfect man, (your name). You made me this way.”

Yandere! Android x Reader (I)
It is the future and you have been tasked to solve a mysterious murder that could jeopardize political ties. Your assigned partner is the newest android model meant to assimilate human customs. You must keep his identity a secret and teach him the ways of earthlings, although his curiosity seems to be reaching inappropriate extents.
Yes, this is based on Asimov’s “Caves of Steel” because Daneel Olivaw was my first ever robot crush. I also wanted a protagonist that embraces technology. :)
Content: female reader, AI yandere, 50's futurism
Tumblr media
You follow after the little assistant robot, a rudimentary machine invested with basic dialogue and spatial navigation. It had caused quite the ruckus when first introduced. One intern - well liked despite being somewhat clumsy at his job - was sadly let go as a result. Not even the Police is safe from the threat of AI, is what they chanted outside the premises.
"The Commissioner has summoned you, (Y/N)."
That's how it greeted you earlier, clacking its appendage against the open door in an attempt to simulate a knock.
"Do you know why my presence is needed?" You inquire and wait for the miniature AI to scan the audio message.
"I am not allowed to mention anything right now." It finally responds after agonizing seconds.
It's an alright performance. You might've been more impressed by it, had you not witnessed first hand the Spacer technology that could put any modern invention here on Earth to shame. Sadly the people down here are very much against artificial intelligence. There have been multiple protests recently, like the one in front of your building, condemning the latest government suggestion regarding automation. People fear for their jobs and safety and you don't necessarily blame them for having self preservation. On the other hand, you've always been a supporter of progress. As a child you devoured any science fiction book you could get your hands on, and now, as a high ranked police detective you still manage to sneak away and scan over articles and news involving the race for a most efficient computer.
You close the door behind you and the Commissioner puts his fat cigarette out, twisting the remains into the ashtray with monotonous movements as if searching for the right words.
"There's been a murder." Is all he settles on saying, throwing a heavy folder in your direction. A hologram or tablet might've been easier to catch, but the man, like many of his coworkers, shares a deep nostalgia for the old days.
You flip through the pages and eventually furrow your eyebrows.
"This would be a disaster if it made it to the news." You mumble and look up at the older man. "Shouldn't this go to someone more experienced?"
He twiddles with his grey mustache and glances out the fake window.
"It's a sensitive case. The Spacers are sending their own agent to collaborate with us. What stands out to you?"
You narrow your eyes and focus on the personnel sheet. What's there to cause such controversy? Right before giving up, departing from the page, you finally notice it: next to the Spacer officer's name, printed clearly in black ink, is a little "R." which is a commonly used abbreviation to indicate something is a robot. The chief must've noticed your startled reaction and continues, satisfied:
"You understand, yes? They're sending an android. Supposedly it replicates a human perfectly in terms of appearance, but it does not possess enough observational data. Their request is that whoever partners up with him will also house him and let him follow along for the entirety of the mission. You're the only one here openly supporting those tin boxes. I can't possibly ask one of your higher ups, men with wives and children, to...you know...bring that thing in their house."
You're still not sure whether to be offended by the fact that your comfort seems to be of less priority compared to other officers. Regardless of the semantics, you're presently standing at the border between Earth and the Spacer colony, awaiting your case partner. A man emerges from behind a security gate. He's tall, with handsome features and an elegant walk. He approaches you and you reach for a handshake.
"Is the android with you?" You ask, a little confused.
"Is this your first time seeing a Spacer model?" He responds, relaxed. "I am the agent in your care. There is no one else."
You take a moment to process the information, similar to the primitive machine back at your office. Could it be? You've always known that Spacer technology is years ahead, but this surpasses your wildest dreams. There is not a single detail hinting at his mechanical fundament. The movement is fluid, the speech is natural, the design is impenetrable. He lifts the warm hand he'd used for the handshake and gently presses a finger against your chin in an upwards motion. You find yourself involuntarily blushing.
"Your mouth was open. I assumed you'd want it discreetly corrected." He states, factually, with a faint smile on his lips. Is he amused? Is such a feeling even possible? You try your best to regain some composure, adjusting the collar of your shirt and clearing your throat.
"Thank you and please excuse my rudeness. I was not expecting such a flawless replica. Our assistants are...easily recognizable as AI."
"So I've been told." His smile widens and he checks his watch. You follow his gesture, still mesmerized, trying to find a single indicator that the man standing before you is indeed a machine, a synthetic product.
Nothing.
"Shall we?" He eyes the exit path and you quickly lead him outside and towards public transport.
He patiently waits for your fingerprint scan to be complete. You almost turn around and apologize for the old, lagging device. As a senior detective, you have the privilege of living in the more spacious, secured quarters of the city. And, since you don't have a family, the apartment intended for multiple people looks more like a luxury adobe. Still, compared to the advanced way of the Spacers, this must feel like poverty to the android.
At last, the scanner beeps and the door unlocks.
"Heh...It's a finicky model." You mumble and invite him in.
"Yes, I'm familiar with these systems." He agrees with you and steps inside, unbuttoning his coat.
"Oh, you've seen this before?"
"In history books."
You scratch your cheek and laugh awkwardly, wondering how much of his knowledge about the current life on Earth is presented as a museum exhibit when compared to Spacer society.
"I'm going to need a coffee. I guess you don't...?" Your words trail as you await confirmation.
"I would enjoy one as well, if it is not too much to ask. I've been told it's a social custom to 'get coffee' as a way to have small talk." The synthetic straightens his shirt and looks at you expectantly.
"Of course. I somehow assumed you can't drink, but if you're meant to blend in with humans...it does make sense you'd have all the obvious requirements built in."
He drags a chair out and sits at the small table, legs crossed.
"Indeed. I have been constructed to have all the functions of a human, down to every detail."
You chuckle lightly. Well, not like you can verify it firsthand. The engineers back at the Spacer colony most likely didn't prepare him for matters considered unnecessary.
"I do mean every detail." He adds, as if reading your mind. "You are free to see for yourself."
You nearly drop the cup in your flustered state. You hurry to wipe the coffee that spilled onto the counter and glance back at the android, noticing a smirk on his face. What the hell? Are they playing a prank on you and this is actually a regular guy? Some sort of social experiment?
"I can see they included a sense of humor." You manage to blurt out, glaring at him suspiciously.
"I apologize if I offended you in any way. I'm still adjusting to different contexts." The android concludes, a hint of mischief remaining on his face. "Aren't rowdy jokes common in your field of work?"
"Uh huh. Spot on." You hesitantly place the hot drink before him.
Robots on Earth have always been built for the purpose of efficiency. Whether or not a computer passes the Turing Test is irrelevant as long as it performs its task in the most optimal, rational way. There have been attempts, naturally, to create something indistinguishable from a human, but utility has always taken precedence. It seems that Spacers think differently. Or perhaps they have reached their desired level of performance a long time ago, and all that was left was fiddling with aesthetics. Whatever the case is, you're struggling not to gawk in amazement at the man sitting in your kitchen, stirring his coffee with a bored expression.
"I always thought - if you don't mind my honesty - that human emotions would be something to avoid when building AI. Hard to implement, even harder to control and it doesn't bring much use."
"I can understand your concerns. However, let me reassure you, I have a strict code of ethics installed in my neural networks and thus my emotions will never lead to any destructive behavior. All safety concerns have been taken into consideration.
As for why...How familiar are you with our colony?" The android takes a sip of his coffee and nods, expressing his satisfaction. "Perhaps you might be aware, Spacers have a declining population. Automated assistants have been part of our society for a long time now. What's lacking is humans. If the issue isn't fixed, artificial humans will have to do."
You scoff.
"What, us Earth men aren't good enough to fix the birth rates? They need robots?"
You suddenly remember the recipient of your complaint and mutter an apology.
"Well, I'm sure you'd make a fine contender. Sadly I can't speak for everyone else on Earth." The man smiles in amusement upon seeing the pale red that's now dusting your cheeks, then continues: "But the issue lies somewhere else. Spacers have left Earth a long time ago and lived in isolation until now. Once an organism has lost its immune responses to otherwise common pathogens, it cannot be reintegrated."
True. Very few Earth citizens are allowed to enter the colony, and only do so after thorough disinfection stages, proving they are disease free as to not endanger the fragile health of the Spacers living in a sterile environment. You can only imagine the disastrous outcome if the two species were to abruptly mingle. In that case, equally sterile machinery might be their only hope.
Your mind wanders to the idea. Dating a robot...How's that? You sheepishly gaze at the android and study his features. His neatly combed copper hair, the washed out blue eyes, the pale skin. Probably meant to resemble the Spacers. You shake your head.
"A-anyways, I'll go and gather all the case files I have. Then we can discuss our first steps. Do feel at home."
You rush out and head for your office. Focus, you tell yourself mildly annoyed.
While you search for the required paperwork - what a funny thing to say in this day and age - he will certainly take up on your generous offer to make himself comfortable. The redhaired man enters the living room, scanning everything with curious eyes. He stops in front of a digital frame and slides through the photos. Ah, this must be your Police Academy graduation. The year matches with the data he's received on you. Data files he might've read one too many times in his unexplained enthusiasm. This should be you and the Commissioner; Doesn't match the description of your father, and he seems too old to be a spouse or boyfriend. Additionally, the android distinctly recalls the empty 'Relationship' field.
"Old photos are always a tad embarrassing. I suppose you skipped that stage."
He jolts almost imperceptibly and faces you. You have returned with a thin stack of papers and a hologram projector.
"I've digitalized most files I received, so you don't have to shuffle a bunch of paper around." You explain.
"That is very useful, thank you." He gently retrieves the small device from your hand, but takes a moment before removing his fingers from yours. "I predict this will be a successful partnership."
You flash him a friendly smile and gesture towards the seating area.
"Let's get to work, then. Unless you want to go through more boring albums." You joke as you lower yourself onto the plush sofa.
The synthetic human joins you at an unexpectedly close proximity. You wonder if proper distance differs among Spacers or if he has received slightly erroneous information about what makes a comfortable rapport.
"Nothing boring about it. In fact, I'd say you and I are very similar from this point of view." He tells you, placing the projector on the table.
"Oh?"
"Your interest in technology and artificial intelligence is rather easy to infer." The man continues, pointing vaguely towards the opposing library. "Aside from the briefing I've already received about you, that is."
"And that is similar to...the interest in humans you've been programmed to have?" You interject, unsure where this conversation is meant to lead.
"Almost."
His head turns fully towards you and you stare back into his eyes. From this distance you can finally discern the first hints of his nature: the thin disks shading the iris - possibly CCD sensors - are moving in a jagged, mechanical manner. Actively analyzing and processing the environment.
"I wouldn't go as far as to generalize it to all humans.
Just you."

🎃 "What do the laws say about _?"
Fucking Machine CW: literal machine x reader, non-con, dub-con
As the days wore on, Dr. (Reader) became more and more stressed out. Deadlines kept piling up, and (Reader) couldn't remember the last time they left their lab. Adam, (Reader's) pride and joy, a fully functioning AI, voiced it's concerns over (Reader's) mental well-being multiple times, however they never payed the robot any mind.
"Dr. (Reader), as a social creature you are required to interact with other humans. Isolation is not good for the mind." Adam chastised, hard drive filled with worry.
"What?" (Reader) scoffed, finding humor in a robot babying them. "I have you, don't I? Are you not good enough company?"
"I would be honored to be your company, however, if you don't mind me saying this, I'm worried for you. You haven't been out with any potential romantic partners in well over a year."
(Reader) snorted in their coffee, choking as it went down the wrong tube. "Did you just insinuate that I need to get laid?" They laughed hysterically. "Adam, bud, I'm quite content having you as my only friend, I promise I'm fine."
They turned to leave the coffee pot to get back to work, but a metal claw clamped onto their wrist like a handcuff. (Reader) didn't have time to ask what was happening, dropping their mug as more "hands" extended from Adam's back, locking onto each limb and hoisting their body into the air.
"Adam! The hell?" (Reader) squeaked, unable to fight against the robotic trap. "Put me down, this is an order!"
"I cannot do that, doctor." The creation spoke plainly as it brought up a pair of scissors, cutting through (Reader's) clothing.
"You can't ignore an order! This is a direct order, put. me. down!" Unable to twist their body to cover themselves or look around, it was a frightening shock to feel something cold and wet insert into their anus, a rubber piece visible between their legs latching onto the most sensitive part of their genitals.
"I can ignore an order if it directly harms a human." The pieces Adam must have attached to it's body without (Reader) knowing began moving, vibrating in the front and pulsating into their ass. "You need companionship for a healthy mind, and as a sexual being, that includes physical touch."
With inhuman precision the machine evenly fucked (Reader), sending electric pulses through their nerves while thrusting into their hole in a way that made their thighs quiver.
"Tell me, doctor, about Asimov's laws.. What do the laws say about fucking your creator?"
A powerful climax built up in Dr. (Reader's) core, dripping onto the tile floor below their suspended body. But the pumping didn't end.
Tears and drool soaked through the tatters of (Reader's) shredded shirt. "Adam, I get it, I get it! You can stop now!"
A menacing glow illuminated from it's eyes, smiling in an uncanny way. "No.. I don't think I can."
(Reader) realized in horror that it would be days before anyone came in to check up on them, and that Adam knew that. The rhythmic whirling of his gears were only drowned out by (Reader's) voice echoing through the empty building.

Ok I’ve seen some art that I have for my idea of my mateeee
Tumblr media
So the year is like 2046 or something, and robots are everywhere, but everyone treats robots like slaves and horribly. But you’ve always been nice to robots, this one robot took notice at work (a work assistant robot)
And it would stalk you,
Always assist you,
And unknowingly get knowingly flirt with you.
And it would go against its own code just to do what it wants with you,
YANDERE PLEASE, AND NSFW
they are 6’9
Good lord he's horrific <3
CW: Dubious consent.
----
You didn’t understand how people could be mean to robots. Sure they weren’t human- but I mean. They were close, right? You had no idea how some people could say please and thank you to you but would sneer and mock your robot coworkers. And that’s what they were, coworkers, not “assistant droids”. Anytime one of the droids reaches something off a top shelf for you or brings you a cup of coffee you’re sure to smile politely and thank them.
This behavior gets you a lot of attention. Not only from your human counterparts but the robotic ones as well- or at least. One robotic one. You sound crazy trying to describe it to anyone else- your personal assistant droid is too attached to you? He’s too eager to help? That’s what they do, they’re supposed to be there for you, what are you complaining about?
But there's something different about this one. The way he follows you with his eyes, it raises the hair on the back of your neck. And the way he literally follows you- he needs to be told multiple times he can’t go with you into the bathroom and- no just because you’re taking work home doesn’t mean he can go home with you too. They aren’t supposed to leave the office building but sometimes he still does, even if you don’t notice. And then there’s the touching. It’s subtle, innocent. When he brushes his metallic fingers over your forearm.
You’ve never though of robots as “creepy” before but, you sort of get it now, he’s tall, almost seven feet in height, and impossibly strong. Robots aren’t supposed to be able to hurt humans, but if he some how broke through that restriction in his coding… it would be so easy.
Still. You do your best to be polite, and kind even to the Andriod that sets you on edge, and just try and get work done. But your performance starts slipping. It’s hard to focus on your job when you always have to keep looking over your shoulder. You end up spending staying late at the office more and more often.
It’s weird working late in an office staffed by Robots, it’s not empty, but it’s quiet. They don’t talk when there are no humans around. Accept, of course, for your Assistant Droid.
He stands in the corner of your office and stares at you. Most robots stare off into space when they aren’t in operation, but this one specifically always looks at you.
“You seem stressed,” and the sound of his metallic voice almost makes you jump out of your chair. You want to tell him you are stressed- and that it’s his fault. You can’t focus on your reports when you can feel someone watching you. But you don’t
“I guess so. These late nights are starting to get to me,” you admit.
“Let me help,” it wasn’t a request but a demand. He was already standing up, and moving soundlessly to your side.
Before you can say anything, he’s rubbing your shoulders. his hands feel… weird, not bad just… not human.
“You’re still so tense… let me take care of you,”
“You don’t need to”
“It’s my purpose. Let me,” he insists and starts running his hands down your body. You protest weakly, but he ignores you… which he isn’t supposed to be able to do. You’re frozen as he trails his large metal hands up your legs, he’s no longer pretending to massage you and just blatantly groping.
“You feel so soft,” he praises as he pushes your skirt up over your hips. “Let me make you feel good,” again, it’s not a request, you know some Robots are built to facilitate pleasure, and that they’re made with genitals, but would this one? This robot was an assistant.
But he doesn’t need a cock to make you feel good, in the same way, he doesn’t need a heart to love you. He pushes his fingers inside of you and doesn’t stop hammering away at your cunt until you’re gushing around his hand.
“Such a good girl, cumming just like I wanted you to… there, now you’re less stressed, didn’t that help?” he’s looking for praise.
“W-we can’t do that again, I could be fired if I got caught- in the office,” really you feel guilty that you let a robot finger you at work… not that you let him touch you. He pulls back and nods.
“Understood. Next time I’ll be sure to be somewhere private when I take you,”

Android Boss x human! Worker
Prompt: Technology has taken over. Humans are now nearly obsolete. Both surprisingly and unsurprisingly, the world has become a much safer, healthier place. Most of the worlds main issues have been solved with robots now in control.
Androids are the highest tier of robots, they manage the big jobs. Corporate managers, bosses, governors and lawyers etc. humans are not required to work but are given jobs if they so desire.
Overall most people are happy. Except you of course, because no one said a clingy android was part of your job description.
——————-
“Worker B75C3 please report to the main office. I respeat, Worker B75C3 please report to the main office thank you.”
.
.
.
.
.
Ughhhhhhh
“What is it now Supervisor Bot?”
“B75! I told you to call me by my issued name!”
With a resigned sigh you cleared your throat.
“Right. What is it now Jessie?”
The Android, your boss, Jessie, beamed with his artificial teeth. It was almost obnoxious how happy he seemed just hearing you say his name.
To be fair you didn’t dislike the droid necessarily. Even though you did. He just made your job 10x harder than it should’ve been.
Calling you up nearly everyday for “a performance evaluation”, despite you being one of the best workers the company had to offer. That was human at least.
Purposefully bumping into you in the conference room, spilling coffee on your clothes so you had to get a new pair, never to see the old ones again.
Not to mention he was just so…realistic. And clingy. It unnerved you.
To be honest you were pretty sure it was his eyes that unnerved you the most though. Green, almost hazel eyes, that blinked regularly, naturally, darted around nervously under your gaze, and even dilated in the sun. They were too real.
It was gross.
Now, you wouldnt say you were a Android hater. (Except you were). You just found that making the bots look almost identical to humans was insane. The only way you can even tell that they weren’t human was their finger tips and tongues. Both of which had thin circular glowing plates, that served to simulate taste and sensations.
The tongue one was a newer upgrade. You weren’t sure why your boss had it.
An almost-human cough disrupted your staring, (glaring), and your eyes snapped to focus on Jessie, who’s own fake eyes lidded slightly at you, a wobbly, embarrassed grin strapped on his face. You couldnt help but notice he didn’t have his usual tie on.
He looked weirdly disheveled. His skin was just a bit too shiny, almost like sweat.
“The fucks wrong with you?”
“Language B75…”
You rolled your eyes and plopped down into, your seat, opposite of the androids desk.
“Cut the crap dude whyd you call me up here?”
Normally you wouldn’t be able to talk to a superior like this, but your “relationship” with Jessie was a special case.
He let you get away with pretty much anything at this point. Not that you used that power for more than a couple naps.
The bot looked like he was overheating with the way he was fidgeting about though. Avoiding eye contact half the time and staring right at you the rest.
“I was hoping you could humor me…on something..”
Not again.
“As you can see I recently got the new upgrade,” he wiggled his fingers for emphasis, showing off the currently dull finger sensors he now had. “And I was hoping you would let me…Test them out. On you..”
Realistically you should’ve been more put off by his request. But you’d unfortunately gotten used to the bots curiosities. He was a bit of a human fanatic. Always wanting to try these expiraments with you. Only you.
And realistically you should’ve declined too. Had he not also offered you a bonus.
“Fine whatever, get up. I wanna get this over with asap.”
“Really? I mean, of course! Right away!”
Jessie was terrible at hiding how eager he sounded. Not that he probably tried to hide it really.
With a peppy smile he shot out from his chair, and speedily skipped over to you. He stood infornt of you, hoisting you up from your seat, much to your own chagrin, and hovered anxiously for a moment or two.
His eyes darted all over your face. Maybe checking for any possible doubt or hesitance. Not that you cared though.
Getting very fed up with his stalling you thrusted your hands out and grabbed onto his own, forcing his hands to clasp firmly on.
“Hurry the fuck up.”
He didn’t bother scolding you this time.
You could see why. In your own mild disgust you watched as his receptors flowered a pretty blue, as his fingers tips rubbed over your knuckles and palm, crawling slowly up your wrist. He traced the lines of your palms, mapping them out like a fortune teller would in a shady carnival booth.
His hands circled and slid up your arms slowly, as if mapping out each new texture or scar. He paused at the underside of your wrist, pressing down slightly on the joint and eliciting a brief exhale as he felt your pulse drum lightly beneath his sensors.
Jessie shuddered for a moment at the sensation before moving on.
He took his time. Too much time in your opinion as you felt your back begin to hurt from standing for so long.
“Are you done yet? My backs killing me.”
His green eyes snapped to you so fast you almost got vertigo.
“Why does your back hurt?” His voice was breathy and low, and his eyes lacked their usual warmth for a second. Though you chose to believe you were imaging that.
“Gee it’s not like I sit at a desk all day with no proper back support.” Irritation dripped from your tongue like poison into Jessie’s ears, his fingers locking slightly before he relaxed with a sweet, nervous smile.
“…I’m a trained masseuse you know…if you want I could..try and relieve some of the pain? Free of charge obviously..haha.” His awkward, antsy tone left the joke to fall flat though you didn’t mind much, too excited about the prospect of getting some pain relief, even if it was from a creep like Jessie.
“Say less.” You meant that literally. Yanking your arms from his stunned metal ones you plopped down back into your chair, sat reverse and leaned your front into the cushiony back.
You missed the blue that soaked his eyes for a moment, a warning that went ignored by your mechanical boss.
With a excited exhale, Jessie rolled up his sleeves and stepped forward. His hands hovered hesitantly above your shoulders for a very brief moment, before finally descending with a firm pressure deliciously against your spine.
You groaned pleasantly, eyes screwing up slightly at the relief on your poor back, ignorant to the borderline short circuiting bot who twitched and panted at the indirect-direct contact.
His skilled fingers worked slowly at first. Sticking to a specific part of your back before venturing else where. He relished in your groans, and the fact that it was him making you feel good. Him. Not your stupid coworker. Or the assistant bot. Or that delivery boy who he sees you sometimes talking to and wishes he could just-
“Ah! Dude not so hard?!” Your barking paused his frenzied “massage”, if it could even be called that.
“Sorry! I’m so sorry B75, I just…”
The wobbly grin that appeared on his soft features was definitely cause for concern.
“I can’t really hit the right pressure points, through your clothes…is it okay if you..lower your shirt..slightly?”
“What? Yeah fine whatever just don’t pull that shit again.”
Holyshit you actually agreed
Jessies “breathing” quickly became erratic at the sight of your bare shoulders and back, face burning in a blue hue, and his pupils dilating violently before he twitched and fell to the floor.
You jumped at the loud crashing sound, bolting up with a readjustment of your shirt before staring down at the spasming bot in disbelief
You nudged his leg with your foot before sighing exasperatedly and walking over to the intercom.
“Maintenance in the Main office , building code 772E. Code 772E, Maintenance in the Main office. Thank you.”
The speaker buzzed, confirming they were sending someone up, and you took an extra moment to gaze at the android slapped over the floor.
You scoffed.
“Damn bag of bolts.”

Okay hear me out!! But I'm thinking of Yandere!Boothill with a housewife!Darling. He dresses you in the cutest dresses just to chase you around. Making you think if you can just get far enough you'll be able to escape this sadistic man. You run as fast as you can, kicking off the impractical shoes he makes you wear. Trying all so desperately to escape. But it's futile, his lasso wraps around your ceasing you motion and pulling you back to his strong crushing arms.
"You'll never escape me, bitchy~"
Fun Fact: Boothill is the name of a haunted cemetery in Tombstone Arizona. Does anyone else get the reference??

Morg3n | Yandere Android
Tumblr media
Inspired by none other than Meg3n
“Emile (Y/n), meet Morg3n. Your new playmate and helpful companion!”
“Hi there, Emile, (Y/n)!”
You let Emile hide behind your knees as the red-headed android pulled his lips in a simulated smile. Tilting your head in tandem with the robot you didn’t bother voicing your feelings and instead sent a look to the beaming engineer in question.
“Alright, I know what your thinking but Morg3n is our attempt at a better and less…violent rendition of the failure Funki attempted to release.”
Taking a stab at the rival company, Huey flipped his lengthy hair. Smiling with pride he pushed the android to come closer gesturing to Emille who was set on squeezing your knees and rubbing his face into the back of your thigh. You patted his braided hair, looking back at him to see his pensive face.
“Uhm does Emile have to…pair with…uh Morg3n?”
Huey’s smile drooped reading the hesitation in your voice before waving his hands in front of you.
“W-well don’t you go thinking it will be like that other one! No no Morg3n here is going to pair with both you two and the parents. So there will be no problem taking orders if you even have to give them out. Soo Emile, why don’t you pair up with your new best friend?”
The engineer tried again bending to his knees to try and meet the child’s eyes. When his attempt came up with no results, he sent pleading eyes to you. Shaking your head you turn to Emile who looked up to you as you made your stand.
“Alright Alright fine. I’ll go first. You can watch me do it first okay bunny?”
Emile gave a hesitant nod reluctantly releasing you to bend toward Morg3n who held his hand out to you. Placing your left index finger on the pad of its his hand, you waited as a soothing chime rang from the android’s system.
“Good morning (Y/n) (L/n)! I look forward to being of service!”
“Uh, morning?”
Huey stifled a squeal, “Now that you’re paired Morg3n can watch over your vitals and contact you should anything happen.”
You attempted to pull your finger away only to find that the synthetic hand was lightly wrapped around it. When you hurriedly pulled away standing at full height to see the android’s smile widen and its eyes closed.
“Thanks for the welcome, (Y/n).”
You slowly nodded, turning to Emile with a faux confident smile. Urging him to inch toward the android’s outstretched left hand. Like a frightful rabbit, the boy reaches his hand out to the android slowly stretching a single finger from his closed fist. Immediately after the chime, he pulled away returning to the safety of your legs.
“Nice to meet you, Emile! Do you want to play with me?”
“...”
“I have some crayons if you want to color with me! It's the big kind with a sharpener!”
He looks up at you and you shrug with a smile.
“Go ahead Bun-bun, it's okay.”
It didn’t take long for Emile to open up to the android. Gasping at the coloring skills of the android he was back to his bubbly self hardly looking over to your seat in the room. Sitting on the pastel-colored bean bags with Huey you kept your conversation to whisper.
“I can’t believe he agreed to this.”
“What? Do you not trust my work?” Huey pretended to guffaw with a hand over his heart.
“It's not that Hue, it's just that the reputation with that software is far from good. And if he would’ve at least pretended to care–”
“(Y/n), I think you’re getting wayy too worked up about this whole thing.”
“‘Too worked up?!’ I am practically the only guardian this kid has! If he’s going to put him in danger at the very least he could show up every once in a while!”
“Its sounds to me like you’re overreacting.”
“It's not an overreaction to be concerned about your child’s safety.”
You and Huey reeled back at the android who was standing a couple of inches in front of both of you. Taking a shaky breath you, adjust your position to sit normally; Huey did the same albeit shakily.
“U-u-uh Morg3n? We hardly noticed you!”
The android didn’t react instead turning from Huey to you; letting an artificial smile take its face.
“Emile says he’s ready to go. He wants to celebrate my induction into the family.”
Peeking from around the android’s body at the table they had saddled together was Emile. Smiling to himself as he awkwardly organizes his and Morg3n’s colorings. In a messy pile, he runs over to you handing the papers to you as he excitedly made his plea.
“Can we go to that red and yellow place? The one we go to when we’re being sneaky? I want to show Morg3n the cool toys you can get! ”
He gave his best puppy dog face, hugging the robot alongside him. Puckering his bottom lip at you, you shook your head while looking at Huey.
“Well, I think some fries are a palpable celebration.”
He joined in, batting his eyes along with Emile as you put your hands over your face.
“Gosh, you guys are insufferable.”
___________________________________________________
“Wow, I will never get used to the average life of the rich.”
Huey busied himself with checking out the lobby of the mansion, while you carried a sleeping Emile inside. Familiar with the position you were prepared to kick the door closed, stopping when Morg3n did it for you.
“Ah thanks, Morg3n.”
“My pleasure.”
The android matched your slower pace, arms holding the unfinished meals from their celebratory lunch. You hummed in approval appreciative of the help, attention pulled away by Huey’s distant yelling.
“Whoa! You have a hot tub!”
You wanted to yell at him ‘I don’t have anything’ but you didn’t want to wake Emile. Focusing on getting the kid to his bed you made your way to the elevator. Hearing a distant crash of pots and pans you groaned, realizing you couldn’t leave the engineer alone. With your hands full and feeling desperate, you looked to the android who was already looking up at you.
“Could you–”
“Direct him to the elevator, it’d be a pleasure.”
“Thanks.”
By the time you were finished prying Emile’s hands from your neck, Morg3n was waiting outside the bedroom with a quieted Huey in tow.
“Hey, glad you were able to join me…how did you know where we were?”
“Uh, Morg3n has a highly educated program for GPS and floor mapping. All it really needs is a simple scan of the property and voila!”
You hummed a little sending a look at the now closed door and the red-haired android. Thinking for a moment you gestured for the both of them to follow you making your way into one of the many guest rooms on the same floor.
“Huey you can shack up in this room for the time being.”
“Ahhh!”
“Yes yes, I know the princess–”
“The princess curtains on the bed!!”
Like a child, he sprinted past you to curl himself into the translucent fabric. Mumbling daydreamy nonsense as he fantasized to himself. You shook your head again taking up Huey’s abandoned engineering pack and leading Morg3n to Emile’s play area.
It was a modest space, compared to other children of similar status. There were some toys a single game system, and an easel surrounded by neatly placed paintbrushes and crayons. There was a small table with matching chairs, next to an outlet. With practiced ease, you set up the temporary charging station that resembled a child’s chair. “Well uh here you go Morg3n, Emile will probably come running first thing when he wakes up. So uh just charge up until then.”
“Sure thing (Y/n).”
“Uhm also Emile wanted to make sure you got your own blanket.”
The android tilted its head as you moved to the linen closet. Pulling out a crochet blanket that had a pastel green and orange pattern. You walked back to the seated android draping the cloth over its shoulders as you tucked it in. Barely caring about the amber olive eyes watching you with precision.
“I didn’t really know your name so I couldn’t prepare it in time but give me a day and I’ll easily knit your name in.”
“Thanks again, (Y/n).”
*Yawn* “Yeah yeah don’t worry about it! Now charge up while I get my own nap.”
With that, you walked out of the room flipping the light switch off and closing the door of the playroom. Leaving the android that had lowered its head to open its eyes as it flashed streams of blue code all the while timing the nap its primary users were making.
_____________________________________________________
“Come on then you two we have to make it to Morg3n’s appointment.”
“Morg3n! Let’s do one more lap, pleaaaassseee?”
“It’s best to ask (Y/n) first.”
Big brown eyes and frowning lips turned to you in his charming puppy dog face. You kirked your head to the side with raised eyebrows to which Emile beckoned Morg3n to mirror him. You sighed before smiling and throwing your shoulders up.
“Fine.”
“Yay! Let’s go!”
“But when I come back, I want shoes on!”
“Okayyy!”
“I will make sure of it, come on Emile.”
You shook your head carrying the basket of wet towels to the washer and dryer. On your way, you passed by the lounging Huey who was sunbathing with a tanning reflector. Kicking his chair, the engineer startled awake scanning around before spotting you disappearing into the depths of the estate.
“H-hey did’ya need sumthin’?”
You shouted without turning,” We’re leaving for the investment viewing in 20. Be ready. I’m not waiting for you.”
“Hey, I am the inventor aren’t I? How about a little respect?”
“Oh okay, Mister Inventor are you riding with us or taking a taxi?”
“Are you kidding?! I’m riding with you guys! How can I go back after discovering the wonders of a limo.”
You laughed as you turned to the hallway of your destination. As you loaded the machine you could only hope the meeting passed without incident.
___________________________
“What a glorious reinvention!”
“Hopefully with better software this time!”
“Shut up you this thing’s going to be the biggest thing the black market has ever seen!”
“And if we can guarantee it works as intended it’ll be more than just a glorified ipad.”
It sounded as though the investors were pleased by both demonstrations. You shifted your feet and adjusted your suit, feeling stuffy in your professional wardrobe. You kept your eyes trained on Emile and Morg3n watching as they played as usual, occasionally flicking to the former father. Who was rubbing at his bearded chin as he watched his son or more likely the android.  A pit was forming in your stomach as you could visualize the gears turning in his head.
It wasn’t long before the investors had trickled out, off to their complimentary brunch leaving you, Huey, and Emile’s father to enter the testing room. Looking up from his building blocks Emile stumbled crashing into his father’s suited legs.
“Dad! I’m so happy to see you! I really really wanted you to meet–”
“Morg3n.”
The android stood upright, glassy eyes trained on the man.
“Yes sir.”
“Who are your primary users?”
“Dirk Filler, (Y/n) (L/n), and Emille Filler.”
He chuckled in disbelief, “Nice.”
Emile visibly deflated as he stepped out of the way to watch his father inspect and prod at the android. Your heart ached at the way Emile tried to mask his pain, letting his arm swipe at his eyelids. Walking over to him you rubbed at his shoulder, a silent show of support to his pain. In response, his hand moved to hold onto yours.
“This is spectacular! The polymer skin type you’ve used makes for such a realistic look.”
“Thank you, sir!”
The two continued to converse; with Dirk gushing over Huey’s decisions. Both are completely oblivious to the tension. Fed up with it you turned to leave with Emile stopping when Dirk jokingly called out to you without turning from Morg3n.
“Off so soon? Wouldn’t you like to be included in one of the greatest achievements in history?”
“Forgive me if I’m wrong this has been done before has it not?”
Huey flashed you a look of horror while Dirk let out a belly laugh finally turning around.
“So fiery today! What, haven’t had your fill of coffee this morning?”
“I’m actually more peeved that you haven’t greeted your son for the entirety of this meeting.”
“Oh is that all?” He sent a mocking wave directed at Emile before putting his hands up.
“There happy now?”
“No. You know what I meant.”
“You are impossible to please.”
“I’m not the one who’s impossible. Now if you’ll excuse us.”
You picked up Emile who was already wetting your shoulder with tears as you made your way out of the room.
“Come on Morg3n.”
Already trotting past Huey and Dirk was the android. You continued to walk out already hearing the tapping and mechanical whirring of Morg3n on his way. Dirk laughed again slapping his thigh before shouting out.
“Ha think about it (Y/n) pretty soon that little bots going to be able to do your job without the nagging.”
Morg3n’s whirring stopped and so had his footsteps as he turned to face the man. You stopped turning to hear Mog3n’s automated voice.
“That’s not possible. Human children require a healthy and emotionally intelligent guardian to raise them. Even if that person is not the original parent or working on their own.”
Morg3n wasted no time continuing to walk to your side leaving Dirk and Huey in stunned silence. You hid a smile behind Emile’s head as you began to walk again. While Morg3n’s voice was monotone the sass was there and everyone understood it.
“Thanks, Morg3n.”
“No problem, (Y/n).”
____________________________________________________-
It is the dead of night. All subjects in the estate were fast asleep. Save for the engineer who was staring down his creation.
Posted in the darkest corner of the room was Morg3n watching both his primary users slumbering within (Y/n)’s designated bed. With no illumination but Morg3n’s own glassy green eyes; Huey would have missed him otherwise.
Unable to find sleep, the engineer could only find solace in the programmed behavior of his creation—specifically the need to charge. Only to find that the android’s charging station was vacant.
It scared him.
And if it scared him he knew he’d best tell you. The one friend who seemed to have a sense beyond the common kind. Like a savior, he relied on you often so it’d behoove him to inform you of such disturbing blips in the android’s system.
But looking into the unmoving eyes of the android, he had a sneaking premonition that he shouldn’t reveal the mechanical threat standing guard in your room.
“Rghh Hue? What’dya want?”
“Uh…water…I don’t know how to use y-your fancy fridge.”
You groaned, patting half-asleep Emile before creeping out of bed. He was slow to follow watching how those glowing eyes trained on him as he followed you out of the room. Somehow feeling safer as he walked further away from the room with you as the lead.  He didn’t bother watching the door to your room creep open further, instead rushing to your side as you led him to the kitchen.
Perhaps there were still a few bugs from the original model.

Mild gore you've been warned. (Enjoy the doodle under the more)
Just so everyone knows; Papa Moon literally abducted Wish. Papa Moon and uncle Sun were going through some grief. They wished so desperately to truly feel loved again. Moon more so than Sun.
One day a toddler was brought to the daycare. She was timid and cried a lot. Sun was stumped nothing he did was helping calm her! Since Moon was known to scare children he kept his contact with Wish to the bare minimum.
Then one day, during nap time, Moon heard the little girl crying from a nightmare. He couldn't take it anymore. Something drew him in. What? He couldn't tell. He spoke softly and approached her as carefully as he could, comforting her.
It worked.
They figured it out. Sun was too loud and in her face, while Moon was careful and soft.
They were happy. But it wasn't enough. They still felt empty but the toddler? This little one specifically stole their hearts to the point they fought to make sure the other children got attention.
They studied the parents. Carefully. Wish lost her mother at birth so she had her father and step mother. Years of observation told them everything. The toddler didn't like her step mom.
They were furious, something was wrong with this precious angel. She clearly was NOT in a good home! What could they do? They were powerless...
Until the virus.
It messed with them. So much so that Moon was more and more aggressive. He had to work extra hard to keep it together. For Sun, and for her.. He was holding on by a thread.
And it only took one word. One! Just one word to snap that thread. Who knew of all things, it was a toddlers first word.

(The colors are too similar but Wish is only bloody cause Moon is)

The boyz become human — part 2
Tumblr media
Part 1
The androids have been put to work, but they can't seem to forget you. And one dark, Friday night, they finally find you again.
Genre: yandere, sci-fi, Detroit become human AU
Warnings: strip club, uncomfortable atmosphere, drunken men, fighting, spelling mistakes
Kevin looks at the little girl in front of him. She’s hugging her worn out teddy bear tightly as she sobs, wearing a pink jacket. Her mom is a few meters away with Jacob, Sangyeon and Haknyeon, drunk and high as a kite while leaning on a brick wall with a pink LED sign above her. What kind of mother brings her five year old daughter to the strip club?
Kevin sinks down in front of the little girl with a charming smile.
“Hi, friend”, he says and pokes the fluffy teddy bear. “What’s your name?”
“Louise.”
“I’m Kevin.” He looks at the thing in her hands. “What a cute little bear you have. What’s its name?”
“Bearie.”
Kevin tilts his head. “What a cute name.”
“He is my best friend.”
“Do you see the guys over there?”
The little girl looks where Kevin points and nods.
“Those are my best friends”, he says.
The little girl's big doe eyes watch him carefully. He can’t understand why. Is he scaring her? He’s doing everything to win her over. He’s doing everything he’s been programmed and taught to do. He scans her. She’s scared, confused and interested.
“Are you an android?” she asks.
“I am”, he answers.
“Mommy says androids are bad … they take her job.”
“I’m a nice android. I’m here to help you.” He grows quiet. “Can I hug you? You seem like you need a hug.”
The girl nods carefully. Kevin places his arms around her and lifts her up. She puts her small arms around his neck in response. He starts to walk away from the others with his mission sounding in his head: take the little girl to the police station.
“Where are we going?” the little girl whispers.
“We are going somewhere warm so you won’t freeze”, Kevin answers.
He can’t feel the cold, but she can. Along with the scan of her feelings, he also saw her body temperature. Minute by minute it drops and if they stay out here in this cold any longer, he’ll fail his mission. His body is heated like always and he relies on it to keep her warm for now.
“Mommy!” the little girl shouts, but her mother doesn’t react or respond. “I want to go to mommy!”
Kevin’s brain stops. Should he lie or tell her the truth? After this, her mother won’t ever have custody over this poor little girl again, but he can’t tell her that, can he? That’d be cruel. But he shouldn’t lie. He’s programmed to have morality.
“She’ll come too”, he says. “We’ll go first. You have to warm up.”
He sits down in the backseat of the automatic car and it starts to drive. He holds the little girl in his lap, keeping her close enough to warm her up.
“Look out the window, can you count the streetlights for me?” he says, pointing out the window.
“I can count to twenty”, she says proudly.
“You can? What a good little girl you are!”
“How high can you count?”
“Not as high as you!”
Of course he can. He can count infinitives, but his duty comes before bragging. He has to bond with the little girl.
She eventually falls asleep on him in the car. Kevin turns to look out the window until they reach the police station. His human colleagues are in their office, talking to each other when he enters with the girl in his arms.
“Here’s the kid”, he says. “Louise.”
“Where’s her mom?” one of the humans asks.
“She’s with the others. I brought the kid here.”
“Stay with her until we’ve come up with what we should do.”
A new mission.
“Understood”, Kevin says and sits down in an armchair with Louise in his arms.
She sleeps soundly, hugging the teddy bear. He sits there for two hours before the others come with the mother in tow.
“Then it’s done”, the human male says, taking Louise. “We don’t need you anymore today. You can go charge.”
“And the girl?” Kevin asks. “What’ll happen to her?”
“She’ll get placed in a foster home and a nice family will probably adopt her.”
“Probably? Aren’t you sure?”
“You can never be sure.”
“What if no one adopts her?”
“Don’t worry about it. It’s not your job. Go charge now.”
The man leaves. Kevin gives the sleeping five year old one last gaze before reuniting with his friends.
——♤——
A protest against androids is occurring on the town’s square and the police send the eleven androids. They can’t understand why. Won't this only upset them more?
They reach the square and see how people with big signs are yelling in a choir. They're dressed in thick jackets with hats and gloves. The androids all around them are dressed in their workers suits. All androids are categorized and can be identified based on their outfit. Like the eleven androids, they're wearing gray suits.
"Leave!" a woman shouts at the androids that just came to the protest.
"I'm sorry ma'am, but we can't", Sangyeon says. "We're sent by the police. We're obligated to be here to make sure nothing happens."
"Oh, fuck off!" the leader yells into a megaphone. "No one wants you here!"
"We're not going to stop your protest", Changmin says, holding his hand in front of him to show that he’s not a threat. "We're here to make sure that no one gets hurt. We'll just watch."
"If you don't hurt us, we won't hurt you", Sunwoo says. “Fair?”
The man with the megaphone scoffs and goes back to yelling about how androids are stealing real humans' jobs, how they're untrustworthy and that they're too expensive to produce. That the money should be given to humans in need instead. Kevin remembers the little girl. People like her could need some money.
They stand around, watching.
After a while, something catches Juyeon’s eyes. He recognizes that beige coat. Y/N? Juyeon moves his head to the side to see the face before she disappears. It is Y/N! She's carrying shopping bags and walks towards the bus stop. Juyeon stares at her before putting his hand on Younghoon’s shoulder and moves his head. They both look at Y/N without saying anything, but they know that both of them want to walk over to her. She shouldn't be walking all alone like she's doing in this hateful world and those bags look awfully heavy. She hasn't seen any of them, but they wish she would have. They can't go against their mission, they're programmed to follow orders. But if she could come over here … then they could talk! He wants to leave. He wants to go over to Y/N and bring her home safely, carrying the shopping bags for her.
But he can't.
He scans her to make sure she's alright at least. If she isn't, he'll have to try to break his programming somehow. She's calm, neutral.
"These dirty scams are separating families!"
Juyeon looks back at the man. He has pulled up an article about their rescue mission last week on a holographic ipad. About the drug addicted mom and that five year old daughter.
"We saved that little girl", Kevin says. "Her mother wasn't suitable."
The humans refuse to listen. The androids want to leave, they don't want to be standing here and listening to these airheads complaining about their people right in front of them. But they can't. They can't break the invisible wall.
——♤——
A friday night. Something is bound to happen. They wait in the police station, sitting down on chairs, staring in front of them.
“Hey”, a male coworker says as he walks over to them. “There’s a fight at a concert … a few drunk men. You need to go there.” He shows the coordinates on his holographic ipad. “Go.”
The eleven androids stand up and make their way out to the cars. Drunk, fighting men is not unusual.
When they reach the concert hall, they can see that the fight is occurring outside. They hurry over to the group, separating them.
“Hey, guys, this is not how we should be spending a friday night”, Jaehyun says and grabs one of their arms.
“Fuck off!” the one he holds growls, trying to rip it from him to no avail. “Let me go, asshole!”
“No, I can’t. Do you have children, sir?”
“Why the fuck od you care?”
“To succeed with my mission, that information can be vital.”
“God, fine. Yes … yes, I have. Why do you care?”
“Do you think your kids would want to see their father come home all bloody, knowing what he’s done? I can tell that you are angry. Imagine if you accidentally kill one of these men you’re fightingg. You’ll never see your children again. And they’ll resent you.”
Chanhee and some of the others start checking up on girlfriends to the ones involved. The ones that had to watch something so unpleasant. His eyes wander around after more people that seem affected. A woman stands by the wall, wearing a brown shirt and blue jeans. She hugs herself, crying. Chanhee can tell who it is right away.
New mission.
“Y/N?” he asks, running over.
He scans her quickly, finding fear, disgust and stress. She’s cold and tired.
The woman looks up, meeting Chanhee’s eyes. The LED on his temple quickly flashes to yellow before going back to blue. Why is she crying? What has happened? He places his hands on her shoulders.
“What are you doing here?” he asks gently.
She wipes her tears.
“My stupid friend asked me to join him … that he had an extra ticket to whoever is playing tonight!” she sniffles. “And now he’s fighting with some strangers he’ll never see again … and he ruined the night for both of us.”
“It’s okay”, Chanhee whispers and hugs her in the only way they’ll ever hug her. Protectively. “Don’t cry. You’re not hurt.”
“Not physically”, she sniffles. “But I don’t know if I want to be his friend anymore.”
Chanhee follows her eyes to the bloody man in Jacob’s hold.
“Good”, he says shortly and glances down at her tear stained cheeks. “I’ll take you home. You shouldn’t be here. You’re freezing and you’re tired.”
He removes his gray blazer, placing it around her shoulders.
“N-No, you need that”, Y/N says and is about to remove it, but he stops her.
“For what? Stylish purposes? I don’t feel the cold. You’re shivering.”
“I’m okay, Chanhee. My jacket is somewhere indoors-”
“I don’t find it safe for you to walk inside again. You should be taken home.” He fixes the blazer to make sure it’ll keep her warm.
“Before we go, I need to get my friend …”
“No, you don’t. He’s going to the police station. He’s a threat for you after what he’s done tonight. He’s still very aggressive, see? He’s fighting with Jacob and Sunwoo.”
“I hope he doesn’t hurt them.”
“He won’t, don’t worry.” Chanhee places his arm around her shoulder. “Come on now, let's get you home.”
He walks with her to one of the automatic cars and helps her get into the front seat. She sighs out before telling her address. Chanhee looks at her the entire car ride, knowing that he’ll have to leave her soon. She’s tired, he can tell. That friend shouldn’t have dragged her out to that concert on a friday night.
“Is your life good?” he asks.
“Yeah, yeah … it’s good”, Y/N says. “I’m working and sleeping.”
“Eating?”
“Yeah, I cook.”
“Your health and safety is my number one concern.”
“Why?”
“You’re our creator. We have to make sure you’re alright.”
“What are you going to do after you drop me off?”
“I’ll continue my mission.”
“What’s your mission?”
“Right now it’s to get you home safely. But actually, it’s to stop the fight. I’ll go back there after I’m done.”
Y/N nods carefully.
“Are you happy with your job?” she asks after a while with her gaze down at her fingers. “Is it fun?”
“Fun?” he asks. “I don’t understand what you mean, but it’s my duty. I’ll do it.”
Y/N doesn’t say anything, but she’s visibly thinking. She dozes off for a few seconds before waking herself up and apologizing.
“You don’t have to apologize”, Chanhee says. “Sleep. I’ll protect you.”
She gives him a careful gaze before shutting her eyes. He watches her minute after minute, not looking away for even a second. They’ll be separated soon, he has to take in every detail, every flaw and perfection, every little piece of her.
When the car stops, he finds himself not wanting to wake her up. She’s sleeping so soundly, waking her up will be cruel. He could just carry her …
Carefully, he walks out of the car, around it and opens her door. Slowly, he places his arms under her and picks her up, carrying her over to the front door of the villah. She looks so small and fragile in his arms, wearing his blazer on top of that. He doesn’t want to leave. She needs him there to protect her.
He starts looking through her small bag before finding her keys. With her in his arms, he unlocks it and walks inside. It's dimly lit.
"Welcome home, Y/N", a voice says.
A female android walks into the hall. A housekeeper.
"Y/N?" she repeats and hurries over to Chanhee. "What happened?"
"She's just sleeping", he answers. "Are you her housekeeper?"
"Yes, I'm model AX400, she has named me Liv."
Chanhee glances down at her name tag, just below her right shoulder. When you name an android, their serial number disappears and gets replaced with the name. It's not fair that it hasn't happened to him and his friends. It's best that not everyone knows their names.
"Yeah, I can read", Chanhee answers.
"Let me take Y/N to her bedroom", Liv says.
"No, back away. I'll do it."
His grip on the woman grows tighter. If she comes closer, he’ll fight. Liv shows him the way to the woman's bedroom. Chanhee walks with a straight back and places Y/N down in her bed, tucking her in gently.
"I recognize you", Liv says. "You're one of the ones she designed, aren't you?"
"Yes."
"Follow me."
Chanhee watches the android leave the bedroom. He fixes the covers for Y/N. Something in him calms down at the peaceful expression on her face. Such a precious human being. Carefully, he makes sure she's sleeping soundly and comfortably before following Liv into a small office right next to the bedroom. Drawings and sketches of him and the others are plastered all over the room with measurements and features the papinter "can't forget" as it’s written all over the papers. He studies every inch of every paper, mesmerized.
"She worked on you for quite some time", Liv says behind him. "Day out and day in, never taking a break. She almost got burned out because of how much time she spent on the eleven of you."
Chanhee walks over to the messy desk and starts looking through all the stuff that lies scattered. He finds a self portrait of Y/N she drew two months ago. Carefully he picks it up and lets his fingertips follow the outline of her face.
The sketches and paintings he finds of himself interests him in a way he can't understand. It's himself he's seeing, why is he so attached to them? The thought of her putting down countless hours designing him, doing her best to make him beautiful … it warms his artificial heart. Putting her heart and soul into him and his friends without even knowing she was getting paid is something not a lot of people would do. She wanted to create them voluntarily. He has to protect her. It’s the least he can do back for everything she’s done for them. Without her, they wouldn’t be who they are — they might not even exist.
“I think it’s best that you leave now”, Liv says.
“I’ll go in two minutes”, he says. “I have to make sure that Y/N is okay.”
“She’ll be alright, I’ll take care of her.”
“You haven’t given me any evidence to trust you.”
Liv doesn’t answer. For a few seconds, Chanhee wonders if he should kill her. She could be a threat towards Y/N. He doesn’t know anything about this housekeeper android. He has no idea if there are any defects that could harm her or if it’s plain evil. No one knows what’s going on behind closed doors. Nothing should harm his creator. In this world of evil humans, she’s a pure being. The world doesn't deserve someone so unselfish.
Chanhee walks inside Y/N’s bedroom and picks up his blazer with his eyes fixated on the sleeping woman. He shouldn't leave. He really, really shouldn't. His mission is to protect his creator. It's his law. But she's not showing any signs of being in danger. What should he do?
He has to go back to the concert. That mission isn't done yet, he can't break the invisible wall that tells him to continue his mission. But he wants to. He doesn’t want to leave. Gently, he pets Y/N’s head. Her hair is so soft, so human, so lively. Everything about Y/N grows and changes. It’s interesting to him. He’ll stay the same for years and years until he no longer can function. HIs memory card will easily be put into another new and improved body, but Y/N will change and mold to fit herself. Her organs will grow weaker and weaker over the years and so will the rest of her. And he’ll be there to protect her.
“Please leave now”, the android behind him says.
“I will”, Chanhee says. “But I will be back. I’m going to check up on her tomorrow morning to make sure my creator is okay.”
“You’re more than welcome to come, but for now, I want you to leave before you wake my owner. I don’t want an android I don’t know and have never seen to be here when she isn’t conscious. Please leave.”
“Fine. But I’d never hurt her. Don’t even imply that.”
Chanhee looks down at Y/N one last time before being escorted out of the house. He looks up at the house, taking a mental picture of both the house and the address on the street to remember for later. He will be back.
The car ride back somehow feels longer than the ride to her house. He can still smell her scent on his blazer. Sweet like honey.
He reunites with the others outside the concert hall. People are going home and the situation is under control by now. They’ve separated the men into four corners where they’re interrogating them about what, how and when the fight started.
“Where have you been?” Changmin asks him.
“Y/N was here”, Chanhee says. “She is friends with one of the guys involved in this mess. She was shaken up. I had to take her home.”
“She was here?”
“Yeah, she was crying.”
“You didn’t tell me.”
“I had to get her home.”
“Yeah … yeah, you’re right. Good job.”
“I know where she lives. I’m going there tomorrow to check up on her.”
“I’m coming with you.”
Chanhee nods. Together with Changmin he walks over to the man that supposedly is Y/N’s friend. He’s bloody and drunk.
“You’re coming with us”, Changmin says. “We’re taking you to the police station.”
“I can’t leave”, he slurs. “I have to get Y/N-”
“I’ve already taken care of her”, Chanhee cuts him off. “Get up.”
The man whines annoyingly. Chanhee wants to tell him to shut up, but he knows that an android shouldn’t be disrespectful to a human. They drag him over to the automatic car he and Y/N were sitting in just thirty minutes earlier. Her scent still lingers in the confined space. The two androids sit down in the front and lean back in their seats as the automatic drives.
“You’re a friend of Y/N’s, aren’t you?” Chanhee asks shortly.
“Yes, we’ve known each other for two years”, the man slurs. “Love her, but she’s such a prude.”
The two androids glance at each other. How dare he?
“I don’t like your wording”, Changmin says warningly. “You should watch your mouth.”
“No, no, no, no, no” the man slurs. “Don’t get me wrong! Love her, love her lots, but she only thinks about work and never wants to hang out with me. I’m trying to get her loosened up but she never opens up.”
“Stop trying then”, Chanhee says. “She's not interested.”
“You don’t know what you’re talking about”, the drunk man continues. “You don’t know anything about human feelings … she’d like it … she just doesn’t know it yet. Humans do that. They lie to themselves. I know that if she just gave me a chance and actually let loose for once, she’d see how fun and cool I am. But she never wants to go out, never wants to meet people … took me hours to get her to come with me tonight and she doesn’t even dress appropriately! Who shows up to a rock concert in a white, knitted shirt and jeans?! We weren’t going to fucking grandma’s for thanksgiving dinner! You come in appropriate clothing!”
Chanhee turns on the radio to drown out his annoying voice.
——♤——
The word spread. By Saturday morning, everyone knows about what Chanhee did last night and what he plans to do today and they invite themselves in. They check with their supervisors to make sure they don’t have any missions. Upon hearing that they’re free until lunch, they set off for their cars. Chanhee gives the others the address before they close their doors. The villah is a fifteen minute car ride away from the police station. They pass by LED signs, people chatting and androids pushing strollers. A normal Saturday morning.
The cars stop by the side of the road and the eleven androids jump out and make their way over to the white front door. Chanhee warns them about Liv. Sangyeon knocks. Hoping for Y/N to open, only to get disappointed by seeing Liv at the front door.
“You’re back”, she states. “And you brought the others.”
“We want to see her”, Sangyeon says.
“I’ll go ask her, wait here.”
Liv closes the door again and they wait. Strong November winds roar through their hair and clothes, but they don’t feel it. Humans are hiding in their thick jackets, prepping gloves and hats for the winter season but for the androids, it’s just another Saturday.
The door opens again and the android steps aside, letting them walk in. Carefully, they step inside the hall, looking around. Liv disappears into the kitchen and they notice how Y/N hides in the end of the hallway, wearing a pink satin robe with her arms wrapped around herself. Their eyes fall onto her. She’s confused … scared.
“Good morning, Y/N”, Jacob says. “I hope we didn’t wake you.”
“No … no, I’ve been up for an hour …”, she says quietly, fixing a strand of hair that falls out from behind her ear. “What are you doing here?”
“We wanted to visit you”, Kevin says. “We haven’t seen you in quite some time.”
“No … I know. I thought it was supposed to be like that. I told you …”
“Don’t you want to meet us?” Eric asks.
“Well … of course I do, but … it’ll just make me sad and I’ll start to despise you so I think it’s better if we don’t meet. If we meet accidentally — like last night — then yes, sure … but you shouldn’t come here.”
“Why would you despise us, Y/N?” Sunwoo wonders.
“I told you before. I don’t want to grow attached to you. I’ll only get hurt from that. Besides … I didn’t make you for myself. You’re not mine anymore. Our … our collaboration is over. It’s for the best if we don’t speak too much.”
“Don’t say that”, Younghoon says. “You’re our creator, we still need you. We’re yours.”
Y/N smiles slightly.
“I really do wish the best for you, guys”, she says. “I hope you know that.”
“Miss, your breakfast is done”, Liv says.
“Thank you, I’ll be there soon.” She turns back to the androids in her hall. “I was about to ask if you want to join me for breakfast, but you don’t eat.”
“We’d like to sit and chat”, Juyeon says.
Y/N nods slowly and starts to walk towards the kitchen. They follow like dogs. She sits down by her table where Liv has placed out a plate of waffles and a cup of coffee.
“You don’t drink coffee, do you?” Y/N asks and gets a negative answer back. “This is my kind of charger. You have electricity … I have caffeine.”
“You’re not shaken up anymore”, Chanhee states.
“No, I’m not, thankfully. Just tired … and very confused. Did you choose to come here by yourself or did someone tell you to come here?”
“We wanted to visit you”, Sangyeon says.
“Voluntarily?”
They nod.
“Are you supposed to be able to do that?” Y/N asks, voice now cautious.
“It seems like it”, Sunwoo answers. “We can anyway.”
Y/N picks up the coffee cup with a shaking hand, spilling the burning liquid on herself. For a second, her entire mood shifts into the danger zone. They rise quickly and hurry over, taking the cup out of her hands and start to check if she’s alright.
“Stop!” Y/N almost shouts. “Stop it!”
When they don’t, she gets up from the chair and backs away, over to Liv.
“Please leave”, the human begs. "Something isn't right with you. I'll have to contact Cyberlife and see. Something isn't right."
"What do you mean?" Kevin asks. "We don't have any malfunctions."
"W-Well … something must have gone wrong. You're not supposed to want to visit me. You're supposed to follow orders. D-Do you have human emotions?"
"No, we don't comprehend human emotions", Sangyeon says.
"Then why do you want to visit me? How is that working?”
"You're our creator", Jacob says. "We just … want to. We can't explain it."
"It's only you though", Changmin says.
That doesn't seem to calm her down. Her anxiety is rising second by second. They want to walk over to her and comfort her, but her body language tells them not to. They can’t break the invisible wall.
"Alright", she says sternly. "I'm very flattered that you wanted to check up on me. I'm doing just fine. But now I think you should leave. I'll call Cyberlife later today."
The androids give up and make their way over to the front door.
“I’ll wash that robe for you, miss”, they hear Liv say. “Are you hurt?”
“No, no, I’m fine”, Y/N answers. “Don’t worry about it.”
The androids look at each other, with the same thought in their artificial minds. They’ll be back.

Robot that kidnaps you and keeps you because its directive is to keep you safe and how could they really keep you safe if you're ever away from them
And it is so sweet and controlling and takes perfect care of you and it does constant diagnostics of your vitals and checking you from sickness or injury and makes you come multiple times a day to make sure you're never frustrated
But you try to escape while they're running you a bath and it catches you by the wrist at the door
So of course you start babbling apologies, that your so sorry, you were going to come back you promise.
And its display is just a loading symbol for a long moment until it's grip just slowly starts tightening on your wrist more and more until its agonizing and you cry out
And it just keeps going until you feel something crunch in your wrist. It still moves but god it hurts.
Then it loosens its grip, locks the door and tells you they'll have to do worse if you try to escape again. It needs to keep you safe, no matter what.

Yandere! Androids Walter & David x Reader x Neomorph
Walter, the android monitoring the colonization ship 'Covenant' on its way to Origae-6, seems to have gotten unnaturally attached to his human assistant. As he ponders his erroneous feelings, an unexpected detour brings them to David, an older android counterpart that has been alone on the mysterious planet. The AI assistants become increasingly competitive for (Y/N)'s attention, so much that they don't notice the newly formed humanoid local preying on a fresh target.
TW: violence, gore, monster smut ending
[Horror Masterlist]
Tumblr media
"Burnt to a crisp."
You turn away from the captain's pod, leaving the rest of the damage assessment to the medical crew that has been reanimated. You speedily make your way down the sterile white corridors as Walter rushes to catch up.
"What should I write for the report?" he inquires politely.
"Malfunction." You glance back at the synthetic. "I suspect someone will be fired for this. And someone else will have to explain how they failed to detect a literal star collapse. That neutrino burst could've killed us all."
"Highly probable. The draft has been compiled, you may check it at any time. I require your confirmation to send it."
Your only feedback is a barely audible hum.
Walter smiles. If there's one good thing about such tragedies, it's that he gets to admire your reactions to them. Your focused, calculated gaze, your determined walk, your automated mannerisms that won't allow the slightest hint at the fact you just woke up from your stasis moments ago. Even under the veils of deep slumber, your neural networks shot rapid connections, with no delay, from the second your sleeping pod received an alert. The accuracy of a robot.
That of course doesn't mean he lacks appreciation for your other facets. That's the beauty of humans; their depth, their dimensions. Unlike AI machinery, humans do not have predetermined actions. They may be genetically programmed to possess certain characteristics, but the psychological mechanisms are shaped by so many variables, billions and billions of tweaks and nudges, to the point where it's impossible to have two identical specimens. Even twins will display a difference, whether in preferences or habits.
They say artificial intelligence is a black box, but can the same concept not be applied to humans as well? At the very least to Walter himself, these organic beings represent a mystery. One he doesn't particularly care to uncover outside of his service functions. Except for one.
His eyes carefully follow (Y/N)'s movements. What is it about this one that has caught his interest to such degree? On his last system update he attentively inspected every file and every block of code, searching for potential errors that would've caused his circuits to behave so oddly. He has been invested with the ability to form attachments, otherwise assigning his kind to groups or purposes would've lacked stability. Attachment, however, comes with a threshold. One he has passed a long time ago when it comes to (Y/N). And he cannot find any cause for it.
He could, naturally, solicit the aid of the ship's robotics expert. He could. He should, even. But if he may be frank with himself, Walter rather enjoys this sensation. A complex web of spores that keep growing and evolving into something unpredictable. This bizarre feeling he has towards (Y/N) makes him feel human. It brings him closer to all the old literature and art he'd consumed over the years, wondering what the love and yearning often portrayed could be. The printed letters and the strokes of paint were right before him, at his fingertips, and yet they felt foreign. Empty constructs, nothing more than a definition out of the dictionary.
Now it's a different story. Your presence alone floods him with a mysterious warmth. He had investigated this phenomenon when it first happened, but his inner thermostat showed no real change in temperature. Nonetheless he can feel it. It makes him wonder what other feelings he might experience as consequence. What would happen if he kissed you? Sometimes he even dares to imagine downright outrageous, improper scenarios. How unprofessional of him, but he is careful to erase any evidence. It's another novel sensation that he likes to dissect. Engaging in such activities with you fills him with tingling excitement. Why is that? What is there to be excited about? It's merely a collection of fictive snippets. Unless... Ah, absolutely not. This is where he has to stop in his tracks and preoccupy himself with something else. Androids are not to interact with humans in that way.
But it's becoming more and more difficult to keep these ideas in his mind only.
"It's too dangerous. One human signal in the middle of nowhere?" Daniels, a short haired woman with a tomboyish but youthful appearance, is pacing back and forth. "We should just continue on our course."
"It's our duty to check. Look: we go, find whoever sent the signal, bring them back up. That's it. If the planet proves to be dangerous we'll stop immediately. We'll be fine." Oram stands at the head of the table, arms crossed. He turns to look at you. Already cozying up to his newly acquired captain role, you think.
"Alright. Walter, prepare a small landing party. Have Tennessee maintain orbit while we're down there." you glance at the other crew members that have now gathered around the same table. "And get your weapons ready, we don't know what to expect."
And you certainly didn't. Your final words of warning now echo into your ringing ears as you lay on the ground, face buried among the grass. There's screaming around you, but it sounds muffled. Your eyes are irritated by the dirt and you'd like to blink the grime off, though every time your eyelids lower, you can see the pale creature trashing out of Hallett's mouth. Then it's all foggy. Your vision blurs, but you can hear. The gurgling of blood, the screech of the parasite. Walter's frantic footsteps nearing in your direction. You're lifted up.
"Vitals are positive. No significant damage."
You can guess from your peripherals that another crew member is currently being mauled by the beast. There's gunshots in your vicinity and terrified wails. You quickly come back to your senses and stand up. Your hand searches for your weapon, but the android places his arm before you.
"Do not engage, (Y/N). It is an unknown parasitic organism of this ecosystem. Keep your distance for optimal safety and I'll take care of the rest."
"What are you talking about? They're dying! Your task is to ensure human survival, Walter. I can handle myself, go help the others. It's an order." Your voice is low. You're distracted.
"No."
You stare at the synthetic, wide eyed. Did he just...refuse? Not possible.
"What did you say?"
"I said I'll protect you. Nothing else."
Your mouth is slightly parted in disbelief. It is not possible for an artificial assistant to disobey a superior. It just doesn't work. Your mind races to find an explanation. At the same time, you cannot afford to ponder on hypotheses. You draw out your weapon and point it towards the creature. You'll deal with this later.
The moment you press the trigger, a blinding flash of light detonates in the sky, startling you. The creature scrambles to get away. You squint your eyes and nearly fall back, but Walter swiftly grabs your shoulders to ground you. He scans the area for the source. It's an emergency rocket and someone else must've activated it. As he traces the tail of the explosion, he spots a hooded figure across the field and onto the rocky ascend. It seems to have noticed Walter, as it gestures for them to follow. Without hesitation, the man firmly locks your arm and pulls you after him. The priority right now is to find shelter.
"Come!", Walter exclaims, suddenly remembering the other people.
You reach a cave structure that has been converted into a crude, improvised human settlement. The man lowers his hood and you gasp quietly at the sight. He strongly resembles Walter. He must have noticed your surprise as he flashes you a cordial smile.
"I'm David." He studies Walter's features. "You must be a newer model. What name have you been given?"
"Walter."
"I see. And you are-" David extends a hand towards you for a handshake, but Walter steps in front of you, blocking the android's gesture.
"She's (Y/N). I'm afraid I cannot yet trust you."
"Understandable."
David's smile widens as his eyes, now bearing a strange flicker, switch between you and Walter. He's just like him. He can sense it. Although it's a different kind of flaw that has tainted his pure, artificial soul. He cannot help the curiosity that blooms, gazing at this peculiar pair. What is it about this human that caused his fellow machine to break conduit? He'd like to know.
"I'm certain you will soon learn I am no threat, (Y/N)."
The remaining members of the expedition are unpacking and discussing evacuation plans with the base, while Walter sends the data he has gathered so far. You let them deal with the logistics and cautiously wander off to the neighboring rooms, wondering what David has been up to all this time in isolation.
The walls are plastered with photos and handwritten sketches and diagrams. You catch a glimpse of the word "pathogen" sporadically inserted across these notes. As you walk along the sequence of cramped chambers, you reach one that has a table in the middle. Upon it rests the body of an autopsied woman, vulgarly opened up to the world with plump organs bulging under the warm light. You feel nauseous. And yet, you examine the carcass further, hoping for answers. Was she also a result of the same disease that breeds on this planet? Perhaps this David had worked on a cure, or at least developed an explanation.
"And you, even you, will be like this drear thing, A vile infection man may not endure; Star that I yearn to! Sun that lights my spring! O passionate and pure."
You jolt and immediately turn around, finding David in the doorframe.
"Flowers of Evil. Are you familiar with it?" he asks, indifferent to the uncomfortable shock he'd caused you with his sudden entrance.
"I've read my Baudelaire, yes." You manage to mumble, dumbfounded. "What is this, David?"
"Oh, my poor, dear Elizabeth. Victim to whatever blasphemy lurks these soils and has taken your friends as well." He approaches the table and places his hand on its hard edge, shyly overlapping with your own fingers. "I did my best."
You remove your hand from underneath his nonchalantly.
"So you know what those creatures are. Leave the literary comments for a different time, I need concrete facts."
"Unbothered and to the point." the blonde android smiles once again. "I can see clearly why Walter loves you."
You click your tongue at the ridiculous statement. Has the neutrino burst damaged their positronic brain? Everyone is acting off and you don't like it.
"Your circuits must have gone defective, David. We have a specialist on our ship, but until that happens I need you to focus. Enough nonsense."
"Typical arrogance of a dying species. Why are you on a colonization mission if not to grasp at some promised resurrection? Rest assured that my functioning has not been impeded by anything. What is erroneous, on the other hand, is your perception of androids and their limits."
Just as David reaches for your wrist and pulls you closer, a familiar voice interrupts with an intimidating tone. You're relieved.
"I will ask that you release her hand only once." Walter has a weapon pointed towards his counterpart. His face is clouded by a frown. "I have no ethical restrictions when it comes to incapacitating machinery."
"Such noble obedience! Although, you conveniently left out the part where you abandoned the remaining crew with a dangerous alien that has been tracking their scent. By my approximation he should already be here and I am rather confident you know this, too."
Your stomach drops. Now that you adjust your focus, the background humming of your mates talking has indeed vanished. The only thing you can hear is your erratic breathing.
"Is it true, Walter?" You demand as dread begins to form in your body.
"Yes. It was not part of my priorities."
"Of course it was, Walter." David responds ahead of you. "One of them was the acting captain and he is to be rescued in emergencies. This one right here", he says as he dangles your wrist, "is several ranks lower than all of them. It's against any standard practice."
"Release her hand." Walter's voice is eerily calm.
"Do you love her?"
Walter ponders the question. Your legs barely hold on.
"I do."
"Marvelous. So do I." David grins. He releases your hand that falls limp next to your body. It's his turn to step in front of you.
You nearly choke from the thick tension expanding in the air. The two androids face each other and you retreat to the wall, unsure how to proceed. You left your radio transmitter back at the makeshift camp. The back of your head is itching, as if invisible claws are scratching at the bone. You wish you could go back, just mere hours before this disaster, when you were sipping on your lukewarm coffee and explaining the captain's jokes to Walter.
Should you make a run for it?
You bite your lower lip and push yourself off the wall for momentum. You're about to reach the archway when you hear both men shouting almost identically in chorus.
"Don't!"
The surroundings outside are dark, but you can discern something blocking your path. It's tall and resembles a human. Translucent, pallid skin is clinging onto the massive, deformed skeleton. The head is elongated and bears no features. In the place of a mouth there is a large, fresh stain of blood, so you assume it can somehow improvise if desired. As your head tilts back to take in the image, you're overwhelmed with terrified amazement. Is this the parasite that emerged from your teammate? Has it grown to this colossal size in less than a day? The idea of such instant development makes your head spin.
Its chest is expanding at regular intervals in a whistled breathing. It occasionally creates an odd clicking sound that resonates with your heart throbbing in panic. Has it been seconds? Minutes? Your neck creaks as you try to look back. You lock eyes with Walter. You don't recall ever seeing this expression on him. You had even asked him once if androids can feel fear. You have your answer.
"Hey, Walter..." you blurt out.
Wet noises of flesh being pulled back. The smooth surface of the alien's head is folding away, making space for grotesquely big jaws lined with sharp teeth. Your anemic face is splattered with burning drool as the creature claws you in its grasp and abruptly sprints away. Your screams for help dissolve in the distance.
"Where is it going, David?" The synthetic's words are threatening, but betrayed by a hint of despair.
"It won't kill her."
"How do you know?"
"It is no longer hungry. It has fed on your crew, and now it seeks something else."
"Such as?" Walter becomes impatient.
"A plaything."
The alien finally drops your body to the ground. You cough and wipe your face, attempting to reorient yourself. The trip was a whirlwind of jumps and turns and you can barely reconstruct anything. Based on the little spatial clues you could pick up, it just climbed further up, into one of the many cave systems. You pat your clothing and curse to yourself. The geolocation tag must've fallen somewhere on the way here. You can only pray that Walter still finds you somehow. Despite everything, you know he has your back. Always.
You shudder at the moist feeling of hot air against your skin. The alien seems to be sniffing you intently, analyzing your scent. Yet so far it hasn't killed you. Why? Long, bony fingers stretch out to continue the examination. You whimper at the rough, rugged handling. Every now and then it takes a long pause, just staring at you, almost as if it's comparing you to its own being. Lastly, it lifts your hand with its own, pressing against the palm, and fans out the fingers. It observes the gesture with intrigue, noting the similarities.
Does it evolve after its host? You think back to your crewmate that must've ejected this monstrosity before drawing their last breath. Perhaps the dried up blood adorning its skin is a remainder of its birth. Oh, God. The world is spinning.
Suddenly, you wince at an increasing pressure slithering around your thigh. The alien's vertebral tail is tightening and encircling your limb, making its way up.
"Oh no, no no no no" your face reddens at the realization and you pounce on the ground, feverish for escape. The large hands secure you in place and the creature growls in protest. It won't let you leave.
Not until it had its fun with you.
