🔸Brian May: “Freddie said, ‘Write me stuff. I know I don’t have very long. Keep writing me words, keep giving me things – I will sing, and then you can do what you like afterwards and finish it off.”

🔸Producer Dave Richards added: “He was dying when he did those songs, and he knew he would be dead when they were finished because he said to me, ‘I’m going to sing it now because I can’t wait for them to do music on this. Give me a drum machine and they’ll finish it off.'”

🔸“A lot of people thought Freddie wrote “The Show Must Go On,” but mainly I wrote it,” May later said of the song about 20 years later. “I did a complete demo for “The Show Must Go On,” including that very high part, ‘on with the show.’ Freddie always used to say, ‘Oh Brian, you’re fucking making me tear my throat to bits again!’ I remember apologizing in advance. I said, ‘I’ve done this in falsetto, I don’t know if it’s possible to do it full voice. Obviously that would be great.’

“And he went, ‘Oh for God’s sake.’” He said, ‘Roll the tape’…and he went for that line, which is outstanding for him to reach those notes. He’s reaching heights he’s never done before. He’s finding the energy from somewhere. And the voice on “The Show Must Go On” is incredible. I’ve never heard anybody sing like that in my whole life. He rose to every challenge and seemed to reach heights that he’s never even reached before.”

Duke Nukem 3D (1996, 3D Realms)

Technically this is the 20th Anniversary World Tour version's GRP running in eDuke32 to fix basically all of that release's issues. No more baffling forced mouse acceleration and smoothing!

It's my favorite way to play Duke 3D now. The new lighting in every map is really, really nice.

Noticed something, now I am rotating this in my brain.

Now, if we look to the wall to the side of Richard:

So I didn't take a screenshot of it, but the scores are, of course, not there when that Anna segment of the game starts.

This shows us that life goes on, even while Anna's in the past. Details from other games imply that James and Dorian can remember things from the timelines that Anna undoes.

And then, of course, there is this scene from Detectives United: Timeless Voyage.

...So. It's shown in a moment, during the next minigame, that the bomb is close to blowing up.

Add to that the fact that time continues to progress while Anna is in the past, and the fact that James and Dorian may or may not remember the other timelines...

There is 100% a timeline where Dorian and James get blown up by the bomb, and given the laws of the world there is a distinct possibility that they remember blowing up.
