We 'd like to set extra cookies to understand exactly how you make use of GOV.UK, remember your setups as well as improve government solutions. You can still upgrade your paper licence at any moment by putting on trade it for a photocard. If the candidate does not clear the driving permit test, they can redo it after 7 days. There is a small cost attached to the retest which needs to be paid at the RTO. The 4-wheeler driving permit examination is rather comparable to that of the 2/3-wheeler examination. We highly suggest you read and follow all the details on this web page before waging your application. You will certainly locate all the info you may require to assist with your application on our licensing pages. The day showed in section 4a is the date you were released the photocard licence. I would certainly likewise like to up-date my environment-friendly paper license to the pink card layout as the paper one has actually traveled around the globe with me and looks tired out. I can stagnate forward without DVL info (they are obviously on strike Wed/ Thurs.) which may indicate I will be without the lease auto I have prepared to have provided. Prior to submitting a copy of your medical report, please check it is finished totally as well as review the instructions on the kind carefully. You would certainly not have needed to pay the ₤ 14 online or ₤ 17 postal cost for your extension - or the charge charged by image booths. The DVLA scrapped the paper equivalent to the photocard driving permit in June 2015, for anyone with a permit provided after 1998-- it now has no lawful condition as well as can be safely binned. The DVLA contacts every chauffeur when their photocard driving licence schedules for revival, offering guidelines on just how to renew and also the charge for not doing so. Renewing late won't motivate a penalty, but if your permit has run out the DVLA says you should not drive until it has obtained your finished revival application-- see directly below. There's a ₤ 14 fee for each and every revival if you do it online, ₤ 17 if you renew by blog post. You should be sent a. suggestion as well as form a couple of weeks prior to your licence ends. The DVLA will certainly send you a D46P application form 90 days prior to your 70th birthday. People aged over 70 still need to evaluate their permit every three years, and your GP might still require to analyze your health and fitness to drive if you have certain clinical conditions as in-depth listed below. renew your driving licence as well as Car Licencing Firm's services have been lowered therefore there may be lengthy delays in assessment of applications. If you do not inform the DVA within eight weeks that your licence has actually not arrived, you must request a duplicate licence as well as pay the pertinent charge. He has no clinical issue yet did have heart surgical treatment some four years earlier. He is finding it really tough without having the ability to drive. The misstep implies that any individual that is obtaining a brand-new driving licence as they turn 70 is unlikely to be able to renew online if they did not have a British passport before 2017. Nonetheless, since late-January 2017, all British keys have been provided without a digital duplicate of the owner's signature. Vehicle drivers that have actually requested a brand-new ticket since 2017 however have actually never held an electronic trademark on their ticket previously will be not able to make an application for a permit revival online. The DVLA has actually mentioned that paper applications, or those made online where even more details is required, are most likely to take in between 6 to 10 weeks to procedure.

Legal Name Change
I recently got my name change approved! So I figured I’d give advice. To clear up a few things: I live in Florida. Some of these steps may not be universal for all states. And I doubt any of this will be helpful outside the US, so I’m not sure if following these guidelines will work for other countries. But anyways, name change! I recently got all my stuff sorted out for this! Coughed up a huge sum of money, too, but it was 5000% worth it, yo. So I wanted to make a post about this to help other trans people out with the process! And I guess if you’re not trans but have wanted to change your name, this can help you out, too.
Step 1 - Paperwork. You have to obtain a petition for a legal name change. Not for your last name (like for when ppl get married or divorced), but for your first name. You’ll want the papers to be for the court of the state in which you live. Papers can be found at your local courthouse OR sometimes online. Obtain these bad boys and get your fav black pen and fill them out. I recommend making copies of the papers after you fill them out. You may need to ask your folks a few questions about old addresses, you’ll need some old/current job info if you’ve worked (it’ll help to have a resume on hand), some education info (high school, college, etc.), and you’ll need to find a notary who isn’t part of your family. If you can’t find someone to notarize your forms, it can be done at the courthouse for a small fee. Filling these papers can be stressful and a bit overwhelming. Just take your time. Make sure it’s neat and legible. Read everything carefully -- and I mean everything, even the sections you are mostly sure you will end up leaving blank!! Have a second set of eyes look at the papers with you!
Step 2 - Fingerprints. You will need to get your fingerprints done for a background check. You can do this at a local sheriff’s office. It was $10 for me. Not a terribly long wait, but if you’re busy that day, I’d say save it for a day you’re not too busy on or see if you can maybe make an appointment. The person doin’ the fingerprints doesn’t need to know all the details for why you’re getting them done, they’re just gonna send them in to the court anyway. Save your receipt as proof, bring that to the courthouse when you file your petition just in case. You’ll also get a paper from them explaining steps for an online payment for the background check -- along with a receipt. Keep both! This was $36 for me. Once you get the background check done, it’s time to send your paperwork to the courthouse!
Step 3 - Filing. This is the part where you go to your courthouse with your paperwork. Have your name change papers that you filled out, signed, and got notarized (remember: you can also get them notarized at the courthouse for a small fee if you were not able to get them notarized by someone else), and also have your receipt for your fingerprinting. You can make copies of the papers at home or you can ask for the person at the desk to make them for you (this will also be a small fee). I recommend getting copies at the courthouse because you’ll have all the stamps on them. Either way, you’ll want copies to have just in case! If you don’t know where to go, ask the info desk or the security people where to go for the name change. There will also be signs saying what floor has what departments and all. Trust me when I say these people at desks will be bored and won’t mind telling you where to go if you get lost (unless they’re dealing with someone else for once -- then just wait on them to finish what they’re doing before you ask). Once you find where you’re supposed to go, make sure that you’re in the right place. Simply ask something like, “This is where I come for name change stuff, right?” Once that’s confirmed, the person will want to see your papers. Have the receipt for your fingerprints, too, just in case. You’ll then fill out more papers. Ask for copies of them once you’re done. You’ll also have to pay a filing fee. I am sure this differs by state, and it may even differ by county. You can check the price online! My filing fee was real expensive: $415.04. I’d saved up from a part-time job for it, so you might end up having to do something similar in order to save up. But anyways, once you’ve paid your filing fee and finished the papers they give you at the desk to fill out, you’re done with step 3 and then you wait to be notified of any possible outcomes: a court date, your name having been changed and approved, or a denial. If you’re not a criminal or running from the law, there’s p much no reason the last option should happen to you, so try not to be anxious.
Step 4 - Letters. You will get a letter in the mail after filing and if everything was filled out correctly, you will either be notified of your new name being official OR of a court date. If you have a court date, just prepare to look decent for that day and answer the questions. The judge and all them just wanna make sure you’re not running from the law and all that. I personally didn’t have a court date, so I can’t give you more advice than that. Just stay calm, it’ll be worth it if you do have a court date. You might also get a letter from another legal department asking you to fill out other paperwork. Just fill it out as best as you can. There should be info for someone to contact if you have questions, so do that. This letter will have a deadline for when to get it back to them by, so do this all as soon as you can!
If things don’t go as planned:
Did something go wrong with your filing? Did you miss something on the forms by accident? Happens to the best of us. Don’t panic! You’ll be given a certain amount of days to fix the problem (mine was 60 days for the 2 issues I had), and within that number of days, you won’t be subject to paying the filing fee again. If you have questions about how to fix it, like if you can’t be there in person as soon as you’d like and might need an extension to be able to fix the paperwork, CALL YOUR COURTHOUSE. Call and ask all the questions you can once you get the right person on the phone. This will help clear things up and lessen your anxiety for sure. Otherwise, fill out a new form, get it notarized (you can do that at the courthouse for a small fee), and then just wait again.
Unable to make it to your court date? Call! Try and figure something out or reschedule. I have no experience with this, but I’m sure it can be done. If anyone has anything useful to say about being unable to make it to a court date, please feel free to add onto this post!
Hope this post helps! If anyone has any questions regarding this process, feel free to hit up my ask box or inbox. Good luck to anyone going through this process at the moment! It’s a lot of waiting, but it’ll be so worth it.

How I signed with my agent!
(I’m in the process of making some website changes, so cross-posting this to publicly archive it here! Originally posted on my blog on November 13, 2015.)
Over the years I've really appreciated the "How I Got My Agent" stories that other writers have posted, and so I wanted to share my own. The whole process of signing with an agent moved way more quickly than I anticipated. Here's how it happened:
When I reached the point where I believed my novel was ready enough to go out into the world, I sat down and looked at my list of all my dream agents. This was actually something I had been slowly compiling over the last few years in a giant Excel grid. I found it so much easier to just pay attention on a daily basis to who was making which deals and who represented which books/authors that I loved, rather than trying to do a whole chunk of overwhelming research at once.
The list of dream agents was not terribly long, but also not particularly short. I cut it down to what my first batch would look like by first eliminating agents I was friends/acquainted with. I was a little worried about an initial friendship complicating the professional relationship. And part of me wanted to prove that my work was strong enough to stand on its own -- I didn't want to get an offer of representation just because an agent already knew and liked me. I tightened my initial list further by looking to see who had worked with specific editors and imprints I admired.
It was the end of September / beginning of October when I began emailing the queries out. I sent them slowly and carefully and one at a time, to make sure I was really sharpening the individual messages and not making any typos or getting anyone's guidelines wrong. I started getting responses pretty quickly, and by the second week of October I had the full manuscript out with four agents.
Throughout October I continued sending queries here and there, until I had nine of them out in the world. There were a few agents who I really didn't expect to hear back from anytime soon for various reasons. For some of them, QueryTracker (a great tool for obsessive queriers) showed that they often didn't respond to initial queries for several months or even over a year. A couple others had closed to queries right as I'd sent mine out, and it sounded like they probably weren't going to get to me.
Jump to the last full week of October. That Thursday night, as I sat in Rite Aid waiting for my husband to get his flu shot, an email rolled in from an agent who had requested the full manuscript only about three weeks earlier. He'd told me it would take him nine or ten weeks to read, so my heart dropped. I was convinced it was a rejection. But no -- it turned out to be a wonderful message saying he'd loved the book and wanted to talk. I started crying right there next to the over-the-counter supplements.
My husband bought me celebratory rainbow cookies -- which if you know me well you know that I am a rainbow cookie FIEND -- and I couldn't even eat them. I was so overexcited my stomach was a pretzel and I didn't sleep at all.
So I talked to the agent that Friday morning. I had a great call, received my first offer of representation, and was pretty much a useless and glowing ball of excitement for the rest of the day. I emailed all the other agents I had contacted -- the ones who already had the full manuscript and the ones who had not yet replied to my queries. I immediately received requests for the full manuscript from all but one of the remaining agents.
The bizarre thing was going from weeks of radio silence to suddenly getting the play-by-play. Agents were emailing to tell me they were 8% in, or already at Part III, or on page 152. "That's publishing from the author side," my friend Melissa texted me. "Nothing happens until all of a sudden everything happens. Then you go back to nothing happening until your next spike of activity. It's maddening."
I ended up with three offers -- literally from the three people at the very top of my Dream Agent Grid!!!!!
Here was my query response breakdown:
8 out of 9 of the queries I sent had gotten me full manuscript requests.
3 out of those 8 offered representation outright.
2 of the agents who stepped aside sent wonderfully generous emails saying that they loved a lot but would want to make major revisions -- which were in fact changes I disagreed with. (One of these agents later sent the sweetest email expressing regret for passing, and then messaged me again with congratulations when I announced who I'd signed with. A lot of the agents out there really are the nicest humans!)
1 of the agents said that the book was great but she was turning me down because her client list was too full.
The other 2 agents sent the kindest emails telling me how much they loved in my book, but they were passing because it wasn't right for them, and they were excited to cheer me on from the sidelines.
I thought that would be interesting to share so that other querying writers out there can see: just because an agent says no to your book doesn't mean you're a failure!! There are a million ways in which someone might think what you've written is great and still not take you on as a client. (And this is not meant to be discouraging, though I realize the other side of that coin is that it sounds like a pretty bleak and impossible endeavor. But really, it's not. And anyway, you want to find the agent who is the best match for you -- the agent who has fallen so head over heels in love with your book that they want you as their client even under circumstances where they thought they wouldn't be taking on anyone new.)
I was seriously blown away by the responses. It was an embarrassment of riches, and I had a difficult decision to make. But talking to each of the three offering agents on the phone was really what helped me decide. I had a great rapport with them all, but there was one agent in particular who felt like an extension of my brain. He pinned down all the things most important to me. He seemed to understand my novel even better than I did. It was unreal -- he was truly The Dream Agent!
I slept on the decision, and then first thing in the morning on November 10th, I signed with Michael Bourret at Dystel & Goderich Literary Management. And since then it has been quite the celebratory week!
This was actually my third time querying. The first round was over a decade ago, when I was one of those obnoxious teenagers who thought I'd written the next Lord of the Rings. It was back when agents only really took snail mail queries, and most of the time it had to be a proprietary submission. I had to do the whole SASE (self-addressed stamped envelope) thing, and the manuscript had to be Courier font and to indicate italics you had to use underlines and to denote breaks you had to use the pound sign (or octothorpe, or whatever you want to call it; it certainly was not a "hashtag" back then). I remember my dad driving me to the post office -- because I couldn't even drive yet, that's how much of a baby I was -- to send out my next query packet every several months.
In 2013 I sent out a small batch of queries for the second time, and it was so weird how fast it was to just shoot out an email. I got so many full requests, and then just as many rejections. But I also got encouraging feedback. Agents generously sending editorial notes. Agents telling me to revise and resubmit. I felt like I was so close and yet still so far away. I tucked the novel in a drawer, planning to rework it after I got some distance, and wrote a new novel. And then revised a ton. And then wrote another novel. And revised a ton again. And here we are.
Third time's the charm and all that. But really, I'm so grateful to have had those rejections. I would not be the writer I am today without them. And this little bit of success would not taste so sweet if I hadn't before experienced that gut-wrenching disappointment, that feeling of failure, and that determination to start all over and try again.
8/3/16 -- Edited to add: I've written a "How to research and prepare for querying literary agents" blog post that might also be useful.

For what reason Doesn't Gmail
The issue isn't with the security itself—it's that the nonappearance of explanations leave iPhone customers absolutely in indefinite quality.
Best digital marketing company USA and Canada. we have Gmail Support Phone Number, Contact Gmail Support.
my dad was starting late amidst an escape and he called me when he appeared considering the way that his email quit stacking on his iPad. It worked immaculately before he left, so why not directly? The proper reaction is this: Google saw that he was endeavoring to interface from another region and blocked the sign-in try since it expected that someone was endeavoring to hack into his email account. My dad hadn't the faintest idea about that was an opportunity, anyway Apple Store delegates observer it continually. Whether or not you're not on an all-inclusive escape, Gmail can square sign-in attempts for a wide scope of reasons. Guidelines to Fix Gmail On Your iPhone Or iPad if you understand you're entering your Gmail mystery express precisely you in spite of everything can't get your mail, this is the thing that to do: 1. Visit The Gmail Website And Check For Alerts We need to visit the Gmail webpage to improve thought of what's going on, considering the way that the Mail application on your iPhone or iPad can't give you any experiences concerning why you can't sign in. Use a PC if you can (it's more straightforward to investigate the Gmail site with a greater screen), yet this technique will work on iPhone and iPad also. Open Safari, Chrome, or another web program, go to gmail.com, and enter your email address and mystery word. Sign In On Gmail.com iPhone Click Mobile Gmail Site LinkIf you're using an iPhone, you may see a popup that demands that you download an application—however at this point's not the time. Tap the little "flexible Gmail site" interface at the base of the screen. After you sign in, scan for a caution box or email in your inbox that says something like, "Someone has your mystery key" or "We obstructed a sign-in attempt." If you a container or email that way, click on the association inside called "Review Your Devices Now", "That Was Me", or practically identical—the particular language changes much of the time. Someone Has Your Password Gmail Someone Has Your Password Email 2. Review Your Recent Devices On Google's Website Regardless of whether you didn't get an email about a blocked sign-in try, it's a shrewd idea to visit the section called Device development and admonitions on Google's My Account webpage. You'll have the alternative to see the aggregate of the continuous contraptions that have endeavored to sign into your record, and unblock the ones that were you. (In a perfect world, they're all you!) Gadget Activity And Notifications After you uncover to Google that it was without a doubt you who endeavored to sign in to your record, your email should begin to stack on your iPhone or iPad. In case it doesn't, read on. 3. Do The CAPTCHA Reset Gmail has a little-acknowledged fix called a CAPTCHA reset that promptly opens a segment of Google's security features to allow new devices to connect with Gmail. I got some answers concerning it when I worked at the Apple Store, and I don't have the foggiest thought how anyone could understand it exists without the upside of really nerdy sidekicks. I'm happy to have the choice to confer it to you. License access to your Google record To do the CAPTCHA reset, visit Google's CAPTCHA reset page and sign in with your username and mystery express. Next, try stamping into your Gmail account on your iPhone or iPad. This time, the sign-in try should work, and Google will remember your device so you shouldn't run into issues pushing ahead. 4. Guarantee IMAP Is Enabled Another inspiration driving why Gmail may not be going after your iPhone or iPad is that IMAP (the advancement Gmail uses to pass on mail to your device) may be crippled in Gmail's settings. If IMAP is murdered on Gmail.com, you won't have the choice to get your email from the server. To make sense of how to turn on IMAP for Gmail, take a gander at my short article called How Do I Enable IMAP for Gmail On iPhone, iPad, and Computer?, and thereafter return here to wrap up. The method is to some degree shaky, especially on iPhone, so I made an a little bit at a time direct with pictures to help. 5. Oust Your Gmail Account From Your iPhone And Set It Up Again on the off chance that you're prepared to login on Gmail.com without any issues, you affirmed that your contraption isn't being blocked in device development and notification, you've done the CAPTCHA reset, and you're sure that IMAP is enabled, it's an extraordinary chance to endeavor the propelled adjustment of the "unplug it and fitting it back in" game plan: Remove your Gmail account from your iPhone absolutely and a short time later set it up again. Generally speaking, the aggregate of a person's email is taken care of on the Gmail servers. That infers that when you oust your Gmail account from your iPhone, you're not eradicating anything from the server itself, and when you set up your record again, the sum of your email, contacts, and notes will bring directly back. A Word Of Warning The clarification I notice this is a couple of individuals may be using an increasingly settled kind of mail movement system called POP (which has, all things considered, been displaced by IMAP). Every so often, POP records delete email on the server after it is downloaded to the contraption. Here's my proposal: As a once-over to make sure everything seems ok, sign into gmail.com before you delete your Gmail account from your iPhone and guarantee the aggregate of your email is there. In case you see the mail on the web interface, it's on the server. In case you don't see your mail on gmail.com, I endorse you stay away from this movement until further notification. 99% of people examining this will see their email can make this step safely. The best technique to Remove Your Gmail Account From Your iPhone or iPad Erase Gmail Account From iPhoneTo oust your Gmail account from your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings - > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, tap on your Gmail account, tap Delete Account, and tap Delete from my iPhone. Next, come back to Settings - > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, tap Add Account… , tap Google, and enter your record information.

HOW TO CHANGE H4 TO F1 OF STATUS
University registration is a major move that needs a lot of preparation. When you start to think about the legal status, it gets much more confusing. H4 dependents who want to go back to college also have two choices – Stay on H4 status in the system or change visas from H4 to F1. To learn about those choices, read this blog.
The first and most critical thing you need to do is locate a university that suits your requirements and a curriculum that matches your job objectives best. Helping an agent such as skoolville.com is a perfect place to shortlist services, find out about eligibility criteria, and submit applications.
To know about all the moves involved in obtaining a master’s degree in the USA, read this blog. And read the Best H4 Visa Holders Courses blog to know about the emerging services that are sure to give you a career after graduation.
You also need to apply to alter your immigration status from H4 to F1 visa once you receive I-20 from the university. You should either fly outside the U.S. to have the F1 visa stamped or remain back in the U.S. to ask for a status adjustment from H4 to F1.
Change of status petitions will take 3 to 9 months, depending on the support center to which the petition is submitted. Changed loading times can be found here. While your H4 to F1 status adjustment petition is pending with USCIS, you can participate in the system but you will continue to retain your H4 status until the Pos is accepted.
When the H4 visa runs the risk of expiry until the H4 to F1 COS is accepted, you will lodge another status adjustment appeal to prolong the H4 permit. In this respect you will find USCIS regulations here.
While you will start classes while waiting for COS to F1 certification, you would not be considered for OPT or CPT until the change of status petition from H4 to F1 is accepted. Remember that the status petition adjustment is just to modify your position when you’re in the US. When you are entering the country, you will visit a US consulate to have the F1 visa signed.
H4 TO F1 CHANGE OF STATUS PROCESS
The H4 to F1 transition of status petition I-539 ought to be sent electronically. The Adjustment of Rank charge as of this writing is $370. You would still have to accept a biometric charge of $85. On submission of the application, you are expected to submit to USCIS the following relevant documents:
Copy of University’s I-20
University acceptance letter that grants you entry
Print of receipt for the Sevis bill. Service charge is $200, which can be charged electronically
Copy of new I-94
Passport duplicate – contains just the first column, the second column and all parts of the visa stamps
Archive of all previous I-797A approvals if any H4 visa extensions have been submitted
Funds justification to pay fees and bills. Require the financial accounts for the past 3 months of the H1B partner. The bank balance should be greater than the sum listed on I-20
Cover letter detailing why you request for rank change from H4 to F1. Since F1 is a non-immigrant visa, while finishing your degree you must show your desire to leave to your home country.
Copy of wedding certificate
Print of the passport of H1B spouse-contain just the first page, the second page and all the sections of the visa seal
Your most current H1B spouse’s I-94
Your H1B partner ‘s last 3 pay stubs
H1B Partner cover letter saying they fund your college
DIFFERENCES BETWEEN H4 OR F1 RESEARCH VISAS?
If you’re preparing to research in the US but don’t know the visa you require or the visa is easier to use abroad, so you’ve come to the right location!
We will clarify the variations between studying on an H4 and an F1 visa, and mention the pros and cons of each one.
3 RESEARCH OPTIONS IN THE US AS A NON-RESIDENT
If you come to the U.S. intending to join a college or university, you generally have 3 choices. Those options include:
F1 visa research (meaning you ‘re moving from an H4 visa to an F1 visa)
Visa report for H4
H4 study and F1 visa study
What one you select depends upon your individual needs. If you work on an F1 visa, for example, the cost would be more costly than on an H4 visa. You must not be qualified to be a teacher’s assistant (TA), testing assistant (RA), or an optional practical experience (OPT) assistant.
So, the visa that’s best for you depends on the requirements and your wants for education. You may be able to find the right choice for you if you keep on reading.
When selecting the best visa for you, the first thing you need to remember is what your present visa status is, how will your financial condition look like and what are your potential career goals? Do you have answers in your head? You may now decide which visa is appropriate for you. We discuss the distinctions between the visas below, starting with examples about what is available on each.
THE F1 VISA
The United States helps you to get going with an H4 visa status at university or work, whether it be full time or part-time. If you don’t want to live in the US or do a CPT or Select, it may be very helpful to remain on an H4 visa, because you already have an H1B visa listed under the limit. Additionally, you can apply for an Employee Authorization Document (EAD) when you convert to H4 and then you can get a job thereby.
But, as we described above, this opportunity is not the best choice for you if you have the target to get a full-time job and an H1B opportunity. On the H4 visa, you’ll be less likely to be able to get a full-time job. There are also situations where H4 partners are not qualified to qualify for an EAD, and if you choose to operate in the states, review the H4 EAD eligibility criteria.
You may need to spend a great deal of time and money to find a job to get an H1B visa with this method.
Let’s assume you ‘re graduating in May, which implies the H1B limit is already ended in April — you’ll still have to wait until next April to apply for an H1B visa. You ‘d still have to wait until October to start functioning again. That is like a year of doing little or being constrained on what you will do in the U.S.
But this might not be the path for you if you intend to live in the U.S. Make sure you look at your visa schedule to see which choice suits the goals better.
HOW TO SWITCH VISAS FROM H4 TO F1
While it can seem strange, you may continue with an H4 and adjust it to an F1 visa afterward. How exactly does it work? If you’d like to select this option, you must start with an H4 visa and instead change it to an F1 visa after one year or more.
Be sure to address this solution first with your university’s foreign team, as every university has clear guidelines for how CPT and OPT options operate for various visas. Essentially, however, if you can apply for one of these two, you will obey strict guidelines and procedures.
The choice to go for this alternative depends on your needs and your desires. There are several options available, such as completing 2 semesters on an F1 visa to qualify for a CPT. Some other option you could recognize is to do an internship, then do your studies with an H4 visa and convert it to an F1 before graduating so you can apply for an OPT.
We agree this is all a little difficult to keep up with! However, we only want to demonstrate that through your foreign representation and attorneys there are other options that you may try out. A plus side to an H4 visa is that it would only require you to pay in-state university fees.
OUR RECOMMENDATIONS
We suggest you don’t go for the hybrid option because it could get a little too difficult to go around. Although this is still an option, we believe it could be easier and less of a headache to choose to study with either an H4 or an F1 visa.
Therefore, we suggest that you work on an F1 visa if your target is to get a job and an H1B visa.
On the other side, if you’re a spouse and your wife is moving close to having the green card, you probably will apply for an H4 visa so charging in-state tuition payments for your assets would be far smoother.
Recognize that you are not qualified for in-state tuition fees on an F1 visa; you will be required to pay out-of-state tuition if you’ve not lived in the same state for at least one year, which would not be the case for most of you.
Notes on In-state Tuition Fees
You would only be qualified for in-state tuition payments if you have been residing in one state, and only one, for at least one year. Your university will ask you to include proof of residency rules, such as filing state tax or a state driver’s license.
INTERVIEW QUESTIONS AND CONSIDERATIONS FOR H4 TO F1 VISA
As previously mentioned, changing status from H4 to F1 would only change your employment status when you’re in the US. But if you’re traveling outside the country, you’ll need to get a US consulate stamped on the F1 visa. The F1 visa interview tips blog for the F1 visa recruitment process is available for reading. But F1 Visa stamping when converting from H4 to F1 includes some extra risks. During the F1 visa test, there are two frequently asked questions: Why do you want to move from H4 to F1 classification and what do you plan to do after graduation? CPT and OPT workability are good reasons for changing status from H4 to F1. The query about post-graduation plans is intended to test your intention to eventually immigrate to the US. The possibilities of visa stamping H4 to F1 are particularly grim when the green card of your H1B spouse is already undergoing the procedure. So when you go for stamping, you need to be mindful of the risks involved. And it’s also advisable to join your home country’s F1 visa interview rather than Canada or Mexico because that will help show the ties with your home country. While H4 to F1 visa stamping is risky, if the F1 visa is rejected you can always return to the US on an H4 visa and resume your studies.
CONCLUSION
Please ensure your choice is thought about and rethought, and also have your main objective and financial position in mind because both can direct you in the choice taking phase.
Whatever you want, we wish you all the best of luck with your American studies! Please keep in mind that you should make the best decision regarding your particular situation. If you need more guidance going about the nuances of these visas, let us learn! We ‘re ready to support those contemplating coming to the USA!

Healthy Cereal: 5 Criteria for Picking Yours
Among the colorful, character-donning boxes that line your grocery store’s shelves, filled to the brim with sugar-coated pieces of “food,” healthy cereal could seem like a myth.
…And, because you’ve probably heard that breakfast is “the most important meal of the day” reiterated countless times, there’s pressure to make the right choice.
A study published in the European Journal of Neuroscience found that skipping breakfast is associated with greater responsiveness in the brain to highly palatable, high calorie foods… a recipe for diet destruction.
Cereal is a longtime breakfast favorite, and for good reason: It’s quick, easy and delicious. The good news is that not all cereals are diet destroyers. The right, healthy cereal for you is out there, waiting to help you keep your weight loss plan running smoothly.
Rise and Dine with the 4 Most Popular Nutrisystem Breakfasts
Read More
The Nutrisystem cereals—like all of our foods—are perfectly portioned and prepared with the best balance of nutrients, taking all of the guesswork out of choosing the perfect one. Whether you opt for the Nutriflakes, the Granola Cereal, or something else, you’ll know you’re making a good choice to help get your day off to a great start.
For those not on the Nutrisystem program—or those who find themselves in the cereal aisle, picking out something new—there are five basic guidelines to inform your cereal selection.
These are the five criteria for choosing a healthy cereal:
1. Fiber
Your morning bowl of cereal is a great place to get some of the fiber that’s important to your overall daily goal of 25 grams (for women; men should get 38 grams per day). Aim for a fiber count of at least three grams per serving. To achieve this, you should be looking at whole grain cereals. The Whole Grains Council has made this a bit easier by putting a yellow stamp on cereals that have at least a half serving of whole grains.
2. Iron Fortified
Iron deficiency is the most common nutritional deficiency worldwide. It is also one of the easiest to solve. Even if you’re not anemic, you are likely not getting as much iron as you should in a day. Use your morning meal as an excuse to get some more iron by looking for the words “fortified with iron” on your cereal box. Just make sure you’re consuming some vitamin C, too, as it plays a key role in helping your body’s absorption of iron. Pair your iron fortified cereal with some fresh fruit like orange slices for the maximum benefit.
3. Sugar
You probably already know that sugar is lurking in a lot of cereals on the shelves. However, labels are getting more and more difficult to read. Sugar is disguised with names like fruit juice concentrate, evaporated cane juice, dextrose or coconut palm sugar and sometimes, manufacturers will use more than one of these names to separate out the sugars, so that their products appear to contain less. When you add it all up, it’s a lot less healthy than you thought. Try to avoid cereals that also have dried fruit because it is typically coated in sugar. When in doubt, go with the fresh stuff.
4. Calories
Cereal alone can be low in calories. But, once you add in milk (or a milk substitute), top your bowl with some fresh fruit, and maybe even enjoy it with a big glass of orange juice on the side, the count rises fairly quickly. As a rule of thumb, try to select a cereal that is around 150 calories per serving—and then stick with that one serving. It’s important to measure out a single serving, rather than pour a big bowl full, because it’s very easy to get as many as two or three servings into a bowl, without realizing.
5. Sodium
Is there salt in your cereal? That may sound kind of funny, but the fact is that there is sodium hidden in a lot of foods and cereal is a common culprit. While shoppers tend to look at the label for calories, fiber and sugar, they rarely remember to check the sodium content. Keep sodium intake from your cereal under 230 mg, which is 10 percent of your daily value according to the new Dietary Reference Intakes (DRI) guidelines from the National Institutes of Health.

Shoot for the Moon! Easy Budget Friendly DIY Stamped Accent Wall
Hello, my fellow Remodelaholics! I’m popping in from Shark Tails today to share a project that required minimal spend-age as well as minimal effort and resulted in a huge design pay-off! Isn’t it the best when things work out that way?
Last time I was here, I showed you how to build this geometric storage box using plywood. Today, I’m going to be a little less build-y and a little more crafty: I’m super excited to share this hand stamped accent wall project with you!
This past August, Matt and I found out that we would be welcoming a sixth member to our household in the form of a human child. WHOA. I have never even held a newborn baby before, so as you can imagine I was experiencing paralyzing fear some nerves when it actually started to sink in that we were having a baby.
My initial fear and trepidation was gradually replaced with excitement, and I dove into planning the design for the nursery. Of all the rooms I’ve fixed up or changed in our house, I have to say this is the one I have had the most fun with. Since we’d decided early on we didn’t want to find out the sex, I knew I’d have a bit of a challenge keeping it neutral but still fun and original. I did a lot of perusing my favorite  blogs, Instagram, and of course, Pinterest. When I stumbled upon this wallpaper, I knew immediately that I wanted it for the nursery:

Seriously you guys — I was obsessed. Unfortunately, as most beautiful things do, it comes with a hefty price tag and after hurriedly doing some math I realized it would cost upwards of $400 for me to do the one wall. I cursed my champagne taste/beer budget self and tried to move on.
But I couldn’t.
So I slapped my DIY cap on and devised a plan that would give me my accent wall without damaging my credit score for years to come in the process.

How to Make a Lunar Phases Hand Stamped Accent Wall

I originally settled on stenciling the wall, and ordered this lunar cycle stencil from Etsy for about $5. When it arrived, I realized that it would take a looooong time to stencil the whole wall with it, and of course there would be paint bleed to deal with as well. Also, the moons did not end up being as spaced out as I wanted on the stencil, and I refused to settle. After some further brainstorming, I came up with the idea of creating a custom “stamp” made out of sponges. It seemed like the least time consuming option while still being super cheap. I used the stencil to create my stamp.
What you’ll need for this stamped accent wall:
Clean, bare wall for stamping (freshly painted is optimal)
Regular household cleaning sponge (number of sponges depends on your stamp design)
Stencil of your choosing (optional)
Piece of scrap wood for backing
Wood glue, sharp scissors, ballpoint pen, measuring tape and ruler
Paint for stamping
Flat tray for paint, large enough to accommodate entire stamp
Scrap cardboard for excess paint
Level (optional; more on this)
Matt and I had already moved all the junk out and repainted the baby’s room so we had a fresh, white canvas to work with. I started by tracing the different moons onto my sponges (I only ended up using two sponges) with the ballpoint pen and cut out the moons using a pair of very sharp scissors.
After all my moons were cut, I roughly laid them out to determine how long I would need my scrap wood to be and cut it to size. I then found the center on both the x and y axes of the wood using my measuring tape, and drew a grid on the wood using a ruler to make the placement of my sponges easier.
I lined up my sponges on the grid, starting from the middle with the full moon sponge and then working my way outward. I honestly didn’t measure here: I eyeballed it until I had a placement I liked. If you wanted something perfectly exact, though, I would suggest you do some measuring.
Once I was happy with the placement of the moons, I glued them to the wood using wood glue. (***Make sure the side of the sponge that you traced on is facing out — glue down the other side as it won’t necessarily be the perfect “cut out” due to the thickness of the sponge.) Let it dry for at least 25 minutes.
As soon as your sponges are good and stuck, it’s time to stamp! Full disclosure: unless it’s related to safety, I am a “cut all the corners” DIY type. That is to say, I did not use a level or draw any guidelines to help me stay on the straight and narrow while I was stamping, but if you are someone who would be driven nuts by the “imperfectness” of my horizontal lines, then I implore you to use a level. I simply couldn’t be bothered and wanted this to be a one and done type of deal. I was also worried if I tried super hard to make it perfect, any little mistakes would be that much more noticeable. I think eyeballing it made my end result look pretty authentic, but that’s just my humble opinion. Something I did think of halfway through that would have been super helpful was to have stuck my mini level on the top of the stamp, but it was too late by that point. If you are like me, skip the measuring and just jump right in like you don’t have a care in the world!
Ok! I had some black latex Rust-Oleum paint that was leftover from my kitchen cabinet project, so that’s what I used. It was looking a little too black for my liking, so I added in some of the white paint we’d used on the walls until I had achieved the color I wanted.
The first stamp was nerve-wracking and I totally almost chickened out. There is something terrifying about touching freshly painted white walls, amirite? I dipped my stamp into the tray of paint, not pushing down hard at all, and then swirled it around on my cardboard to take off any excess. I wanted it to look a little faded, and also avoid any globs. I started at the top left of the wall, put the top of the wood flush with the ceiling, and lightly pressed….
…not too shabby! I was very nervous and so my shaky hand smeared the stamp a little bit: but it was nothing a damp cloth couldn’t fix right up. The first few rows I took very slowly so I could get the hang of the stamp, how much pressure I should use, spacing, etc.
You DO NOT need to re-dip the stamp in paint every time. Sometimes I was able to do an entire length of the wall without re-dipping, and once I got going, it went quite fast. I think it took me about 2 hours total stamping time, and only that long because I may or may not have made an epic mistake on one of the rows and had to paint over it and wait for it to dry before I could keep going…
Some tips and tricks:
Keep a damp cloth on hand for any accidents or drips
Hold the stamp with both hands and eye it up before committing/pressing it against the wall
Don’t press too hard! Remember it’s a sponge and there is a lot of excess paint accumulating in there
Every so often, wipe around the sides of your shapes to remove any globs of paint
Step back and look at the wall often while you’re working to make sure nothing is looking too wonky
Depending on your pattern, consider staggering it (for example, I lined up my “full moon” under the middle of the two crescent moons when starting a new row)
Have fun with it and don’t get too finicky or hung up on imperfections — once the entire wall is done and you’ve got things moved into the room it’s gonna look baller, I promise!
When you get to the end of a row, there will be a lot of instances where you can’t fit your stamp. That’s ok. Leave it to the end.
When the entire wall was done (save for the ends) I carefully peeled the shapes off my wood block and finished the rest by hand.
It took about ten minutes tops to finish the ends. Just make sure you’re paying attention and stamping the right pattern.
I cleaned up my mess (I definitely stepped off the step ladder into an open can of paint at one point so) and stood back to admire my work. It’s obviously not as perfect as the actual wallpaper would have been, but I looooooove it!
Guys. $15 vs $400 — what do you think? Personally I couldn’t be more stoked. It turned out better than I ever could have imagined and was SO CHEAP! Also it was quick AND easy — it took a bit of finesse and patience, but I do believe that this project is something anyone with a little DIY experience could do. It took one afternoon and the payoff is huge: the perfect statement wall for our neutral little nursery! If you’d like to see how the room turned out once we moved in the furniture and added some finishing touches, you can see the whole nursery reveal here.
I love that this project is so versatile: you could do so many different patterns and designs to suit any style and it’s not a huge investment (I spent a whopping $15!) depending on the supplies you have on hand.
We’d love to see your versions of this fun DIY, so be sure to share them with us if you decide to embark on your own stamping journey!
