How to Enter/ Wake up in the void state instantly Using the Phase method ꨄ︎
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hii loves, Today i decided to make an Guide Based on the Popular method ' The Phase '. You can either use it to wake up in the void , or affirm while you are in the Phase. It literally Takes Seconds , based on astral projection Success stories , I have read. Its a tried and tested technique that hundreds of participants have participated in . And Guess what ? Within 2-3 days, Everyone was having reported Success with it. Also this method is ADHD Friendly and also does not require you to mediate or affirm for a long time. The phase method can be used to lucid dream and shift also .
"Interesting Fact" -
" Indirect techniques are mainly to thank for our 80% success rate over only 2 days of attempts at three-day seminars, even in groups of 50 people and more. Once, more than half of the group had a phase experience by the second day."
✩⋆୨♡୧⋆. ⁺ ⋆
The Phase Method ( Original Method ) :
STEP 1 : SET YOUR ALARM TO WAKE YOU UP IN 6 HOURS .
On the night before , go to bed at your usual time and set your alarm so that you will only sleep for 6 Hours. When the alarm goes off , you may go to the bathroom, drink a glass of water , whatever you want to do. Try do something relaxing , read a book. Scroll through your phone , If you want. Relax or chill for about 10 - 15 minutes.
STEP 2 : GO BACK TO BED WITH AN INTENTION
Go to bed laying on your back , if you can't fall asleep then you can sleep on your side. Then repeat an intention in your mind , Eg, " I will wake up soon and enter the void ". Reason why this works, because just as you falling asleep you are in a self hypnotic state of mind , so you signalling your subconscious , what you to do when you wake up.
STEP 3 : WHEN YOU WAKE UP, DO NOT MOVE ( You may breathe normally)
Close your eyes immediately and do a separation technique.
I will share one from the ' Phase ' :
" Peer into the void before your closed eyes for 3 to 5 seconds. If nothing occurs, switch to another technique. If you see any kind of imagery, peer into it until it becomes realistic. Once it is, separate from the body right then and there, or allow yourself to be pulled into the imagery. When peering at imagery, it's important not to scrutinize details, lest the image wash away. You'll need to look through the picture, which will make it more realistic."
✩⋆୨♡୧⋆. ⁺ ⋆
How to get into the Void state within Seconds Using the Phase Method :
Affirming In the Phase :
♡ Set your Alarm for 2.4 hours or 6 Hours Ahead. Also remember this technique involves using Rem sleep. Rem sleep occurs Every 90 minutes when we are asleep. So setting your alarm For 2.4 Hours Ahead is ok too.
♡ Wake Up and do something for about 15 minutes , go to the bathroom etc. Just Chill or relax for these minutes.
♡ Go back to bed with an intention. Your intention will be for the void " I will wake up soon and enter the void". Try and lay in a position that is comfortable with you.
♡ When you wake up , Do not move. Because this technique causes you to wake up in the mind awake and body asleep state. Start affirming for the Void State. Imagine your body entering the void and keep on Affirming. This causes your consciousness to detach naturally because you are in the phase.
Waking up in the Void by using Phase and Commanding your Subconscious Method :
♡ Set your Alarm for 2.4 or 6 Hours Ahead.
♡ Wake Up and do something for about 15 minutes , go to the bathroom etc.
♡ Then lay flat on your back and get relaxed . Set an command or intention to the subconscious
My command to the Subconscious " As soon as I fall asleep I will wake up in the void aware ".
And you'll wake up aware in the void state !

The Myth of Dreamless Sleep
Consciousness never "switches off" because it isn't generated by the brain. Its sensory inputs can be switched off - during sleep or general anesthesia, for instance - but your consciousness is still there. For example, a small but consistent number of patients report out-of-body experiences (OOBEs) or near-death experiences (NDEs) while under general anesthesia.

Barred from her lab by pandemic restrictions, behavioral ecologist Daniela Rößler caught local jumping spiders and kept them in clear plastic boxes on her windowsill, planning to test their reactions to 3-D-printed models of predatory spiders. When she came home from dinner one night, though, she noticed something strange. “They were all hanging from the lids of their boxes,” says Rößler, a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Konstanz in Germany. She had never seen jumping spiders suspended motionless on silk lines like this before. “I had no idea what happened,” Rößler says. “I thought they were dead.”
It turns out the jumping spiders were simply asleep—and that Rößler had discovered an alternate sleeping habit of the species Evarcha arcuata, which had been known to build silk sleeping dens in curled-up dead leaves. But the real surprise came when she decided to spy on them all night. She bought a cheap night-vision camera, duct-taped some magnifying lenses to it (E. arcuata is typically around six millimeters long) and aimed it at a sleeping female spider. What Rößler saw on the recording astonished her.
Mostly the spider just hung there. But then her legs started to twitch, and her abdomen and even her silk-producing spinnerets did so as well. Sometimes her legs curled in toward her sternum. With every spider Rößler recorded, these odd movements only appeared during distinct bouts that lasted a little more than a minute and occurred periodically throughout the night. “They were just uncontrollably twitching in a way that really looked a lot like when dogs or cats dream and have their little REM phases,” she says.
Rapid eye movement (REM) sleep involves a state of partial or near-total muscle paralysis paired with an active, awakelike brain state, which is why it is sometimes called “paradoxical sleep.” In humans, this state has been strongly linked with dreaming. Rößler and her colleagues wondered if the twitching spiders could be experiencing something like an REM phase of sleep and possibly even having dreams. “We were like, ‘Okay, that would be insane,’” she says. Then she thought, “Let’s figure it out,” and immediately changed her research plans for the spiders.
There is abundant evidence for REM sleep or an analogous state in many mammals and birds. Scientists have also found something similar in two reptile species and hints of a state like it in zebra fish. Both octopuses and cuttlefish appear to have an REM phase, complete with eye movements, arm twitches, and rapid skin color and texture changes that resemble displays they perform when awake. Beyond those animals, there are glimmers but not much evidence of REM sleep in invertebrates, including insects and arachnids.
“It wouldn’t surprise me at all if [jumping spiders] have dreams,” says behavioral ecologist Lisa Taylor, who studies the spiders at the University of Florida and was not involved in the new research. “They live in such a rich sensory world, and we know they have amazing cognitive capabilities and memory.”
The jumping spiders offered a unique opportunity to expand the realm of dreaming animals, in part because of particular aspects of their ocular anatomy. Though most spiders cannot move their eyes even while awake, jumping spiders have long tubes that shift their retinas around behind their large principal eyes. What’s more, for the first several days of life, the spiders’ exoskeleton is translucent, so those eye tubes are visible inside their head.
When Rößler recorded 34 sleeping spiderlings, she found that their twitches were accompanied by unmistakable eye-tube movements that did not happen during other phases of sleep. “It’s beautiful. I mean, it’s crazy. It immediately makes a sleep researcher think about rapid eye movement sleep,” says entomologist Barrett Klein, who researches bee sleep at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse and was not directly involved in Rößler’s work. “And to have the first indication that you could study such a thing or that it’s even relevant in arthropods is thrilling to me.”
But it is too soon to say for sure that the spiders are experiencing something akin to REM sleep in humans, Klein cautions. The researchers first need to confirm the spiders are actually asleep during this phase by showing that they are less responsive to their environment, he says.
Rößler and her “dream team” of co-authors have already started those tests. And she points out that the leg curling is a particularly striking aspect of the spiders’ REM-like phase because that pose is typically only seen in dead spiders. Spiders use hydraulic pressure maintained by muscles to keep their legs extended, and the curling could result from the muscle paralysis that typifies REM sleep. The team’s initial findings were published on Monday in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences USA.

ik this sounds weird, but how do I wake up HAPPY? like I have to wake up at 5:30 am everyday and I sleep at like 10:30 and in the morning when my alarm goes off I snooze it for like 30 mins and I wake up pissed off AND LATE. it's really bothering me how my mornings are so not ...NICE. Any help would be appreciated. xx
Hi love. You could need more sleep (some people need 8-9 hours instead of 7 hours to function optimally) and you're chronically over-exhausting yourself. Or, your sleep and wake-up times could be incompatible with your natural circadian rhythm. I would look into sleep chronotypes and read the book, Why We Sleep by Matthew Walker to see what improvements you can make for a more peaceful way to start your mornings.
Hope this helps xx

Sleep inertia refers to the groggy and impaired feeling that individuals often experience immediately upon waking from a nap or night's sleep. It's the transitional period between sleep and wakefulness when cognitive and motor functions are temporarily compromised. During sleep inertia, individuals may feel disoriented, have difficulty concentrating, and experience a decline in performance compared to their baseline capabilities.
The severity and duration of sleep inertia can vary among individuals and are influenced by factors such as the depth of sleep, the duration of sleep, and individual differences in sleep patterns. For example, if a person is awakened from a deep stage of sleep, such as slow-wave sleep (SWS) or rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, they are more likely to experience stronger sleep inertia.
The grogginess associated with sleep inertia typically dissipates over a short period, ranging from a few minutes to about 30 minutes, as the brain transitions to a more alert state. Strategies to minimize sleep inertia include gradually waking up with gentle stimuli, such as light or mild movement, and avoiding sudden or abrupt awakenings. Additionally, establishing consistent sleep patterns and ensuring an adequate amount of sleep can contribute to reducing the impact of sleep inertia.

Kinda curious, can anyone like/reblog this post if they experience any of the following in dreams;
Taste
Touch/Sensations
Smell
Clear words, phrases, letters, numbers or anything in writing
Pain
Death and or serious bodily harm
Being given specific messages about your current state of consciousness
Self aware figures/people who seem to act of their own voilition despite you having a sense of control/being lucid
Environments and people distorting/not cooperating when you acknowlege your lucidity
Being somebody completely different from yourself/having another persons literal, in body perspective
Spiritual, out of body experiences like acension or a feeling of your soul seperating from your body
Apparentally these things arent common but I experience all of these. I wanna see if anyone else does! Itd be neat.

How to get into sleep paralysis :
( Link to the original post )
I found a method to induce Sleep Paralysis!
" First a bit of context. I'm one of those guys who absolutely cannot fall asleep unless I'm actually tired. I can stay in bed for hours and never fall asleep. So maybe this method is going to work better for people like me. "
" Basically, you need to follow a typical sleep paralysis inducing method. You lay on your back, stay completely immobile until your body falls asleep, but keeping your mind awake. If you're like me, this method just won't work. I can lay still for more than an hour but nothing will happen. I'll just start to get more and more physically uncomfortable until I just quit the practice. And this is exactly what happened yesterday. I layed still for about 50 minutes until I was too unconfortable, so I decided I was going to quit. I also needed to go to the bathroom. "
" But then, as I had plenty of free time, I decided to immediately start practicing again (something that I never do). So I went back to bed, but this time, I decided to find a comfortable position that I could fall asleep, which in my case is on my side. And that's when the interesting stuff started to happen. I forgot to mention that I also did a big, pleasant stretch in bed before starting the practice again. And I think this was a pretty important step, as it made me feel much more relaxed and comfortable, and also released the tension I had built up in the previous 50 minutes of laying still on my back. "
" Then I just remained pleasantly on my side, with the body relaxed. I started to naturally get on a more expanded mental awareness state, like when you're in deep meditation. At one point, I got a slight roll over signal (that annoying feeling of having to move in bed). But it was surprisingly weak, so I could perfectly ignore it and remain still. In this state of physical relaxation and mental awareness, I started to focus on that hum you hear when it's completely silent. Actually, this felt like a completely different hum from the usual one, but I'm not getting into detail because it's just too personal and abstract to explain. So I continued listening to this hum, until suddenly, about 25 minutes into the practice, it began. The Sleep paralysis kicked in, and it felt like a tremor in the whole body. The best part is that I was completely aware of the process. Finally, I managed to let my body fall asleep while my mind remained completely awake. I finally induced a Sleep paralysis. It took me around 1 hour 30 minutes of practice in total. "
" TL,DR: Lay on your back for about 45-60 minutes while remaining completely still. You're probably going to feel progressively more uncomfortable. When you feel like you absolutely need to move to release the tension, get out of bed and walk for about 30 seconds. Maybe you need to go to the bathroom like me. It is important that you move as slowly as possible, as you don't want to lose the relaxation state. Then you go back to bed, do a big, pleasant stretching to release all that tension from being still (this step is important), and you find a comfortable position in which you could fall asleep. I suggest laying on your side, with your legs slightly bent. Then you focus on the humming sound of your ear, while remaining completely still. You keep focused on the hum until Boom, suddenly the sleep paralysis process will begin right out of nowhere."

Prime Lucid Dreaming Conditions
Just based on my own experiences. Kept this short and to-the-point for y’all.
Taking melatonin before bed
Rapidly fall asleep and wake up over and over again—I recommend snoozing an alarm every 10 minutes for at least an hour
Set intentions before bed/Repeat verbal affirmations of or recurrently visualize what will happen during your sleep
Sleep somewhere new—a hotel, a friend’s house, your car, etc
Practice reality checks in the waking world
Attempt to train your gut reactions to old instincts—look into brain plasticity for this
And lastly….
Believe in yourself.

Something I’m learning over and over again is that sleeping and then going back to sleep for 1-1.5 hours before actually waking up is very bad for me
Tumblr media
Okay fuck this, actually
Edited for clarity
Image description: a screenshot from WebMD that reads: “Usually, REM sleep happens 90 minutes after you fall asleep. The first period of REM typically lasts 10 minutes. Each of your later REM stages gets longer, and the final one may last up to an hour. Your heart rate and breathing quickens.
You can have intense dreams during REM sleep, since your brain is more active. REM is important because it stimulates the areas of the brain that help with learning and is associated with increased production of proteins” /end description

Finally, Stickgold suggests a clear link between EMDR and memory processing in dreams: "If the bilateral stimulation of EMDR can alter brain states in a manner similar to that seen during REM sleep then there is now good evidence that EMDR should be able to take advantage of sleep-dependent processes, which may be blocked or ineffective in PTSD sufferers, to allow effective memory processing and trauma resolution."
