Another Curse?
Regina Mills x Reader
SUMMARY
You wake up in the middle of the road, just a few feet across the borderline of storybrooke with no memory of the life you've had, the life you've led, and the life you've built.
You wake up in the middle of the road, just a few feet across the borderline of storybrooke with no memory of the life you've had, the life you've led, and the life you've built.
The only thing you can remember is your name, basic information about yourself, about things, and about basic knowledge, enough to keep a person alive. You don't even remember your birthday, or if you have a family. You have to start anew.
You put your foot in front of the other, and you kept on going as if someone was pulling your strings, and when you get to the town centre, you halted in the middle of the road.
A yellow volkswagen beetle almost ran you over. Luckily, the car stopped before it you and sent you flying across town. Your breath hitched, and you're left there frozen, almost being ran over, scared the hell out of you.
The driver stepped out of the car, revealing a tall blonde woman. "Hey! What the hell are you doing just standing in the middle of the road?" She demanded to know, and you answered truthfully, "I don't know." The woman looked around and inquired once more, "What's your name? What are you doing here?" And you once again answered her truthfully, not seeing the point in lying, "I'm Y/N, and I don't know." "Seriously? Do you know anything else other than your name?" Her head is full of question, she signalled you to get in the car. You're still in shock, so you just followed her.
"I'm Emma Swan, sheriff of this town. Let's continue this conversation at the station."
The car ride was quiet and rather quick, you thought to yourself.
When you get to the station, she scans your fingerprints, and the technology is taking long to find a match. It's as if you don't belong in their world. She asked a lot of questions to which your answer is always "I don't know."
Emma dialled something on the telephone and called someone to inform them about this strange situation. "There's this new girl in town, and she doesn't know anything except her name. Come down to the station and help me figure this out. Please, and thank you."
After a few minutes. A brunette, rather attractive woman walks into the station. "Who's this new girl you're talking about, and where is she?" She asked, and you spin the chair around to meet the gaze of the brunette, "that would be me, miss."
You stand up and held your hand out for her to shake "I'm Y/N and I don't know anything else other than staying alive" she chuckled at your corny joke and just as she's about to reach for your hand, Emma stated bursting your bubbles, "you think this is another curse?" You burst out laughing which quickly turn into an awkward chuckle when you see the two woman with stoic faces, you gulped and cleared your throat "Sorry, 'curse' that seems like a funny thing for me but from the look in your faces, safe to say I was wrong."
"You think this is funny?" The brunette practically growled at you. And you apologised. "Sorry, miss. I don't remember shit about shits, so please forgive my ignorance." You slightly bowed your head in her direction. Emma smirked, seeing the brunette flustered by your actions to which you are oblivious of, "cut her some slack, Regina. She doesn't remember anything other than her name."
Emma told you everything. From how they were characters from story books and how a curse or two fell upon them. How both of them were evil once upon a time.
After a few quiet sighs and stolen glances, the woman who Emma said was Regina finally speaks, "What do you suggest we do with her then?"
"Let's look into granny's diner and see if there's a vacant room available." Emma declared, and Regina side eyed you and scoffed, seeing a genuine smile on your face, "why do I have to go? You can do this on your own. Besides, I have far more important things to do than find a stranger a place to stay." Regina whined, and Emma put her hands on her waist and said, "Really? Name one."
Regina looked around but never met your gaze. She muttered words that couldn't be understood, and she sighed loudly, admitting defeat. "Fine, let's just get this over with."
You all went outside. Emma told you to get in the car, but you just stood there contemplating. "Why are you just standing there? Get moving." Regina demanded.
You sighed and looked at her with a sheepish smile. "I don't feel so good about getting in that car anymore." You told them, and Regina rolled her eyes but also chuckled inside. "Oh, you'll get used to it, just get in and let's start moving," Regina stated, and you replied, "Can we just walk there? I'm not getting in the car that almost ran me over."
Regina's eyes widened and turned to look at Emma. "Seriously!?" Emma just shrugs and replied "come on, Madam Mayor, let's get those steps in."
When you got to the diner, the smell of deliciousness blessed your nose, and your stomach growled in turn. They both look at you and eye each other.
"Order anything you want, pretty woman. It's on me." The woman over the counter said, you look at Emma and Regina, thinking she meant one of them. You saw Regina roll her eyes, so you thought, maybe she meant Emma, but when your eyes return to meet the eyes of the woman, she claimed, "I meant you, cutie."
Regina scoffed way too loud than she should, so you turn to look at her and fake a pout "What? You don't think I'm pretty or at least cute? Well, I think you're stunning." Regina, a stuttering mess, "what-- I- what?" Before you can respond, the woman said, grabbing your attention, "I'm Ruby, and you are?" She held her hand out for you to shake, and you replied, "I'm Y/N." Before you can shake her hand, Regina speaks, "I'll just have a coffee." Ruby retracted her hand before you can shook it. She wrote down Regina's order and turns to look at you after waiting for your order as well.
"Give me your best and worst, I'll decide which is which" you held your hand out wanting to properly and formally be introduced "thanks for the treat" she shook your hand out and grinned widely.
After a few seconds, you smiled at her awkwardly and requested, "Can I have my hand back?" She chuckled awkwardly, "right."
Regina sneered seeing the interaction, and Emma grinned knowingly after seeing Regina's reaction to Ruby flirting with you.
When Regina first heard your voice and saw you eye to eye, she felt a pull and that something had shifted. She's immediately drawn to you, though she may not admit it to herself now, she will in time.
During the first week of your arrival, everyone was wary of your presence, but they eventually warms up to you. Except Regina, who keeps her distance from you.
On the second week, she had a broken sink, and your boss sent you to fix it. You rang her doorbell, and when she opened the door to reveal you, she was shocked to see you. "What are you doing here?" She asked, and you quickly replied, "To fix your broken heart," she was taken aback by your sentence. All she could say was, "What?" "You have a broken sink, and I'm here to fix it." You elaborated, you thought you had said 'sink' earlier, but she definitely heard you say 'heart' loud and clear. She just shrugged it off, thinking that you're just being playful.
She watched as you worked, and she could feel herself heat up seeing you so focused and sweaty. She cleared her throat, but you didn't look at her. She cleared it some more, but it still didn't get your attention, and with one last attempt, "Would you like something to drink?" She still failed. A few moments later, she attempted again, "Y/N dear." You stopped what you're doing and give her your undivided attention. "I'm all yours, what's up?" You stare at her as she stared at you, you furrowed your brows, "I thought you called my name," "I did" she nodded her head while still staring at you and how she wish you were truly all hers. You nodded your head back, "I'm done. Is there anything else I can help you with?" She wanted to say 'yeah, help me scratch an itch your giving' but what came out her mouth was "I can't think of anything at the moment but I'll be sure to call you if something came up." She kicks herself internally for being such a wimp whenever she's with you.
There was a party at Regina's House, to which you are invited to, in the third week. "Bored already? Dear." You flinched, you weren't expecting someone to you,"Reggie, you startled me." You look up into the sky and sigh, you look back to her, "can I help you with anything?" You asked and she opened her mouth to say something but nothing came out, she closed it again and just shakes her head "no" she was about to walk away but you grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her closer to you. "Wait," you said, and your breath was tickling her skin. It gave her goosebumps. Her heart is jumping out of her chest, and she chuckles nervously, "what?" She asked. Your hand that grabbed her is now resting on her waist, "Hold on," you replied and added, "Stay still, you have something on your hair." You went to remove it and tuck a few loose strands to her ear, then proceed to pat her head softly, "there, all good."
Her hands rested on your shoulders, and you stared at each other a little longer. When you felt her slowly pulling away, you pulled her into a hug. You felt her fight it, so you tightened your embrace. "Don't fight it." You said softly, and she slowly melts away at your embrace. She would love to get used to this.
Its been months now since you appeared in storybrooke. They still couldn't figure out what your deal is.
You help in town in any way you can. You try to pay back the kindness they showed you. Waitressing at granny's, doing construction work, plumbing, baby sitting, and delivering food.
One midnight, you delivered food to a big white house. You rang the doorbell, rang, and rang, just as you're about to ring it again, the owner burst it open. Regina is on her night gown, and there is irritation written on her face.
"What the hell? It's the middle of the night." She chided, and you just stood there confused where her irritation is coming from, then she added, "well dear, what can I help you with?" You look her right in the eye, "You ordered food, I'm just here to deliver," "I didn't order anything, it's late, and I'm about to sleep."
She starts to slam the door close, you put your free hand between, and the door slams. She's oblivious of the hand you stupidly put there. You screamed in shock, and it startled her. You bit your lips, wincing in pain, and you slowly put the delivery bag down. A tear started rolling down your cheeks. Your hand is throbbing with pain. She looked at you genuinely concerned and cursing herself inside for hurting you. "I'm sorry. I didn't know. I didn't mean to-" she reached for your hands, but you raised it up, pretending that it didn't hurt like hell, so she won't worry, "Don't worry. I'm sure it'll be fine in the morning." You gave her a reassuring smile. You cleared your throat, "It says here Regina Mills and it's address to you. Would it be okay if you receive it? But if you don't I can take it back." You requested, and she decided to receive the food that she knew for sure she didn't order. "Are you sure your hand is okay?" Regina asked, and your eyes fell to look on your reddened and swollen hand. You just shrug it off and say, "it definitely doesn't hurt as much now. Have a good night, Reggie." You wink at her and give her a sweet smile before departing. Regina just stood at her door, watching you walk away, when you're out of sight she realised she has been watching and she gulped and looked around, she closes the door as her head shakes side to side.
The next morning, your hand swelled. Regina dragged you to the hospital. "You should stay at my place until your hand heals." She suggested, and you said and winked at her, "sure baby, whatever helps you sleep at night." Regina takes care of you and follows you everywhere.
"What are you doing?" You asked Regina, "I'm trying to help you." You smirked at her, "I still have a functioning hand, I can feed myself. You're not my mommy." Regina laughed at the end of your sentence, and you smirked when you saw her reaction to your joke. "You know Reggie, there are other ways you could help me with." You declared in a seductive tone, but Regina didn't catch up on it, "Sure of course, anything you need, what is it?" She asked eagerly. You just chuckled and shrugged it off, "Never mind."
Months have passed, and its been more than a year since your arrival. As times passed, the townspeople grew fonder of you, especially the Mayor, Regina, who seemed to have fallen in love with you.
She would bring you apples. Invites you often at her house. Treat you to dinner. Walks with you, ever since you passed at her house alone in the night.
"Do you still not remember anything?" Regina asked, you answered, "No. Its as if I didn't have a life before here." "Maybe you don't." Regina quickly replied, and you chuckled at her, "but I feel like I did, I have, or had." "Maybe they didn't want you there." Regina added, and you nodded. "Maybe. But what if I have a wife?" You said, and the thought of you having a wife that is not her, saddened her, Regina felt her heart shrink. And you continue to speak your thought "Or a child? Euh-- I hope I don't have a child..." you shivered at the thought of having a child and said, "I probably shouldn't have said the last part out loud." Regina chuckled and claimed, "I didn't see a ring on that finger, so you probably don't have a wife." She chuckled nervously at the end of her sentence.
You're conflicted, you feel like your heart already belongs to someone but maybe not, so you just shrug it off and replied "probably," Regina let's out a breathe she didn't know she was holding and she felt relieved.
You and Regina hang out a lot. She loves spending time with you, except when you decide to hang at Granny's. There's a certain someone who 'basically throws herself at you,' she thought, and she didn't like it.
When Ruby flirts with you, you flirt back. Regina would think to herself, 'why does she always flirt back to Ruby and never to me?' The thing is you never thought Regina flirts with you, and you don't catch up on it. It's either, her flirting game is not good, or you're just so oblivious when it comes to her. Maybe it's vice versa.
"Why don't you just ask Ruby out on a date already?" She growled at you, and there's a tinge of hurt in her voice. You snapped your head up to look at her, "where did that come from?" You chuckled at her, she rolled her eyes at you in response, "oh, come on, she flirts with you, and you flirt back every time, and she flirts a lot." You burst out laughing, and you shook it off, "that's just how she is. It's nothing serious."
Regina scoffed, "whatever," and she crossed her arms. You shook your head in disagreement, "She's not my type. I'm more into older women." Regina remained silent. "Besides, I flirt with you more, basically all the time, but you never once flirt back." You claimed, and she sneered, "I flirt with you all the time, and you're the one who never flirts back."
You burst out laughing after hearing her remarks, and she's confused and a little bit annoyed, "of course you think this is funny." She said in a menacing tone.
"We're both such idiots." You shake your head, and she just looks at you as her confusion grows. You grabbed her face and kissed her passionately, hungrily, and desperately, and she just let you, returning the desperation, the hunger, and the passion. When you pull away for air, you can hear everyone at the diner whooping and cheering. Regina gulped completely shocked by your initiation. She wasn't expecting that, but she's not complaining and would like to do it again soon.
Emma, who popped out of nowhere, observed Regina, "You okay, Madam Mayor? Your face is as red as your apples." Regina gulped one more time and sighed, "Oh dear."
2 years had already passed since you first kissed her. You both felt safe and secured. Regina is thinking of asking you to marry her.

Birthday Expectations
One shot | Once Upon a Time Masterlist | Masterlists

Fandom: Once Upon a Time
Pairing: Regina Mills x fem!Reader
Genre: Fluff
Words: 3k+
Summary: Just some birthday fluff, reader doesn’t like to do much for their birthday but when Mary Margret throws her a surprise party, she starts to realise just how badly she wants one thing, to leave.
A/n: Not proof read well cause it's me so I apologise for the mistakes <3
Walking into Granny’s you knew what awaited you. Whilst Mary Margret may have been known for not being able to keep a secret, she certainly kept this one quiet. It was the gathering of cars and less than subtle shuffles that came from inside that gave it away, there was no doubt about it, a horde of people were waiting inside to ambush you with birthday wishes.
The bell chimed and there was barely a second between the jingle running through the room and the off key singing that came from what looked like the whole of Storybrooke. The smiles that were stretched across everyone’s faces brought a warmth to your chest and you desperately wanted to enjoy this moment, but tears were welling up in your eyes and you hadn’t had the heart to tell the pixie haired brunette next to you it was from a sad longing to just be alone.
The truth was you weren’t a fan of your birthday, it seemed to only bring disappointment and it was just safer keeping your heart under lock and key, never expecting anything, and certainly not expecting a whole town to gather to celebrate with you. Getting your hopes up only meant one thing, you were going to get hurt. So, you told yourself to enjoy this small moment for what it was, temporary.
Heels clicked in the distance and when you looked to the opposite side of the room, eyes darting past a sea of strangers, there she was. Candlelight illuminated her olive skin, fire dancing in her chocolate eyes as she concentrated on holding your birthday cake whilst Emma barged through the crowd making a path for Regina to gracefully sashay through.
“Happy birthday!” Emma exclaimed through a wide smile, offering a small hug, and quickly moving out of the way; revealing the breath-taking sight of Regina in a tight fitted red dress.
Chanel perfume and vanilla icing permeated the air around you, suddenly no one else mattered. Suddenly, it was just you and her. A smirk appeared on her lips, looking down to the cake then back at you, she quirked an eyebrow.
“I think this is where you make a wish.” Emma said, lightly nudging you with her elbow.
Jumping back into your body you realised the singing had come to a halt and you were gawking at Regina, drool practically making its way down your chin with a full audience.
“Oh, ummm, right.” You stumbled. Leaning forward, trying not to stare at the full display of cleavage directly at eye level, you closed your eyes picturing where you wanted to be and blew out your candles, sending a wave of cheers across the swarm. Painted in your mind were the stars above you and the solidity of the ground colliding with you back, the true image of peace and solitude, that was your wish.
Almost an hour had passed, and it wasn’t surprising to see everyone had dispersed into small groups, talking amongst themselves, laughs and chatter filled the small diner, though somehow, you’d managed to end up alone.
Looking out to the barren street, the clatter of dishes and voices faded into background noise. No one had forced you into the little booth or put you on a time out, you couldn’t be mad. So why was there an all-consuming battle taking place within you? Some distant longing begging for someone to notice your absence.
It was an odd feeling you hadn’t experienced in a while, feeling alone whilst being surrounded by people. It was safe to say, the feeling hadn’t been missed, creeping up on you and consuming all the self-dependent thoughts you’d spent years working on. Everything in you wanted to run, use the fact no one was looking your way to your benefit. The brush of skin against your hand erased all thoughts of a quick exit, especially now that you were wedged between the window and- perfume, spiced apples, and a faint whiff of hairspray- Regina.
Her fingertips tenderly brushed against your hand for mere seconds, but by fair or by foul, they left behind a tingling sensation that somehow craned its way into your bloodstream, sending sparks flying through your whole body.
“I can hear the cogs you know.”
Finally finding the courage to look away from the window, you turned to Regina. With the room lit far more sufficiently than when you’d last been so close, you could see her fully. Breath-taking. That’s what she was. A thin layer of foundation, straightened silky hair, lined lips coated in blood red to match her dress and just above them, that scar. Night after night that scar seemed to haunt you, the feeling of running your lips along it, kissing the perfect imperfection.
“What?” you finally choked out, still half dazed, and helplessly trying to ignore the twitch in your fingers that so desperately wanted to reach out, to familiarise themselves with the indented portion of skin you were trying to pry your eyes away from.
“In your head,” she quirked, a soft smile gracing her plump lips accompanied by a light shoulder bump, “What are you thinking about, sitting here by yourself?”
Stringing a simple sentence together had never felt this hard, “I, I was just, ummmm.” Great start. You could tell her the truth, though that would require digging into your mind and actually thinking about why exactly you were sitting by yourself. A lie then. “I just needed to rest my feet.”
A perfectly sculpted eyebrow moved skyward by only a centimetre. “I can see how one would miss all the other free booths and randomly find themselves sitting at the only one that’s deserted,” she turned her head, scanning the room, “closest to the door.”
There wasn't much else to do other than avert your eyes to your hands and awkwardly shuffle in your seat. The rug was pulled from straight under you, leaving you free falling in mid-air whilst someone in the distance kept singing about a whole new world; one you’d yet to discover. In fairness, Regina was right, of all the booths that had free seats you’d managed to conveniently pick the one that was farthest away from the happy crowds and with the easiest exit strategy.
“Crazier things have happened.” You mumbled, keeping your head hung low.
An amused huff came from beside you, a breath of warm air brushed against your cheek, sending another myriad of sparks flying through your body. It was as though you had no control of yourself when your eyes darted to Regina, and not a morsel of regret was found when you saw the gentleness in her eyes and the comforting velvet smile adorning her painted lips.
“That they have. But you still haven’t truthfully answered the question.”
Guess there was no escaping this one, lying clearly wasn’t an option. “It’s easy to feel invisible with a whole town cramped into one small space, so I just let it happen. I know Mary spent a lot of time on things and I didn’t have the heart to tell her that this isn’t really what I do, parties, crowds, the whole shebang. It’s better to keep things low key and quiet because,” because there’s no chance of getting hurt, you wanted to say it, god, you wanted to just let it all out, but the words sounded too pitiful, too small and weak, “It’s just easier that way.”
Her eyes glazed over, like she was a world away, lost in a distant memory, “because there’s no chance of being disappointed or forgotten when it’s just you?”
“I-”
There was no time to tell her she’d hit the nail right on the head, purple smoke engulfed the two of you, rendering you all but blind in a haze of smog. With your vision obscured your senses were suddenly heightened, earthy smells filled your nostrils, the sharp smell of grass accompanied with soft, delicate, welcoming floral scents filled your nose. The smoke slowly cleared, revealing an open field with nothing but the night sky above you, the moon illuminating and bouncing off a vast array of coloured petals.
“Regina?”
Before you could wrap your head around what was happening Regina knelt on what looked to be a tartan blanket, slowly easing herself down with - as always - the grace and composure of a queen. She arched her neck to look up at you, tilting her head ever so slightly, beckoning you to join her.
The moonlight shone down on her perfectly, her eyes glistened in the meek presence of lunar light, stars danced in chestnut irises, mapping out a linear path to dilated pupils that remained focussed on one thing only, you. How someone could be both intimidating and downright adorable was completely and utterly confounding.
Slowly she reached a hand out; not knowing exactly how long you’d been stood getting lost in her eyes, you slid your hand into hers, attempting to ignore the butterflies that were flittering low in your stomach. Regina laid back, letting her head peak over the edge of the blanket, whisps of brown cascaded over shards of green. Thoughts of running your finger through her hair filled your mind, letting them disappear, just as the grass did, into thick brunette locks to graze gently over her scalp.
Following in suit you discovered the ground to be uneven and slightly bumpy, mud piles prodding at your back. After shuffling a little you found an agreeable position, the fingers that remained interlaced between your own seemed distraction enough from the cold earth that bit down on your thin clothing.
When you stole a glance at Regina her eyes were shut, chest rising and falling at a steady pace, maybe a little faster than normal, but then again, you had not often found yourself assessing the rate of someone’s breathing. Her face muscles were relaxed, it was like her cold mayoral exterior had melted, swept away by the cold evening breeze, and left behind was only her, only Regina.
How anyone could look at her and not see beneath the facade bewildered you, it was plain as day, she was good, she is good, pure, caring and kind. Everyone in town had a past, things they wished to forget, and the more time you spent with her, the more you saw she was the same, just another tortured soul scathed by a harrowing past, though townsfolk readily liked to forget that. Day in day out she battled inner demons, inner personas that demanded to be set free, and she did it without so much as batting an eyelid.
“I notice when you’re not there.” Her eyes were still closed whilst yours doubled in size, if it wasn’t said with such sureness, you would have missed it completely being too lost in thought. The butterflies in your stomach that lay dormant were woken, weaving between them a rope that was being endlessly knotted time and time again, her words echoing in your ears.
“I- That’s-,” taking a crisp gulp of air in, you let the cold fill your lungs, still your beating heart. Then set to releasing the warmed breath of air back out, watching the small cloud of condensation float away into the night, and hopefully with it, the inability to form a sentence, “How do you always know what to say? And how on earth did you know I wanted to come here?”
“I can read minds.”
“I’m being serious Mills.”
“So am I.”
Turning her head to look at you, a wide smile broke out across her face, her cheeks protruded out and a full set of pearly whites revealed themselves before the both of you burst out laughing. If one sound could feel like home, it was that laugh, low, hearty and raspy as the symphony passed through her lips, rumbling in her chest. The weight of the world that pulled you down was suddenly alleviated, gravity ceased to exist, the laughter pumping you with helium until you were floating on cloud nine.
Laugher echoed through the field, fading into comfortable silence. Distant longing eyes looked into one another, peeling back layer after layer of armour you both hadn’t known the true weight of. Smile lines faded and a serious expression washed over Regina’s face, she shifted her back off the ground, her knees brushing against the side of your thigh as she settled down to lay on her side, never for a second unclasping her hand from yours.
“I know what it’s like. To be alone I mean.” a soft sigh left her parted lips, her eyes were darting across your face like it was the first and last time she’d ever get to have you this close. You gave her hand a gentle squeeze, and when her eyes finally re-emerged from their endeavours, offered up a sweet smile, encouraging her to continue.
And she did, “My whole life I've been on this mission for revenge, and it was a lonely one at that. Then I found Henry and, well, you know the story. But no matter how much the band heroes said I was one of them, I found myself alone amongst a crowd of people, and I knew, circumstances be damned, I could always slip away, and it would go unnoticed. I’ll never really be one of them.”
“Fucking birthdays.” You huffed.
“I don’t even think anyone knows or remembers my birthday, other than Henry.” she chuckled out. “I think I prefer it that way, like I said, there’s no chance of being disappointed or forgotten when it’s just you.”
Mimicking her position, you turned onto your side. Regina’s eyes were a sea of unshed tears, almost instinctively you reached out to brush a stray hair off her face, letting your fingers linger over delicate skin for a few seconds longer than necessary. Fingertips grazed over the back of your hand, guiding you back to the powdery skin of Regina’s cheek, which you gladly took into the palm of your hand, and she humbly leaned into.
“Regina, you're the first person I look for when I enter a room.” you half whispered over the sound of your heart pounding in your chest, but you forced yourself to continue, “I feel like you’re the only person that sees me sometimes, and tonight, poofing me away, you may not be a hero to them, and without meaning to sound too corny, you’re my hero.”
Her cheeks flushed under your touch and her eyes shimmered, taking a rushed breath in, you kept going, “There hasn’t been a single day where I haven’t craved to turn a corner and be greeted by that pragmatic smile you wear so proudly, every time I hear a pair of heels, I can't help but hope they’re from those ridiculously expensive stilettos you wear. I search for you everywhere; I can’t help it. You are everything Regina Mills and the fact you can’t see that amazes me.”
Eyes flickered to your lips and the world stopped, pipeline dreams filled the intimate bubble surrounding the two of you, tender hearts caught wind of each other and beat in rhythm with one another. Blood rushed through your veins, moving so fast you could feel the molten fire coursing through capillaries and burning a direct path to your cheeks, that were now tinted with a rogue hue.
Your hand abandoned its post, moving to the back of Regina’s neck and weaving small circles in damp hair. In turn Regina’s hand found a new home on the small of your waist, setting fireworks ablaze in surrounding area. Your bodies drew closer until there was only a slither of space between you, and you lay still for what seemed like hours, peering into tear-stained eyes.
“I haven’t felt like this in a long time.” you muttered, the words falling from your mouth directly into Regina’s, cavorting through her until she realised, they resonated deep within her too.
“I know.” her lips trembled before quirking up into a smile.
In the milky light she looks so young, untouched by the cruelty of the world, her smile was youthful, and you’d never seen her look more innocent then she did at that very moment. There was no weight between the two of you and for the first time you felt like someone truly saw you and accepted you as you were, and you saw them.
Leaning a fraction closer till your lips lightly brushed against Regina’s, you closed your eyes and breathed out, “1st February.”
Her whole body froze, “What?” she whispered.
“Your birthday, it’s the 1st of February.”
Doubt filtered through your mind and for a split second you felt the world crash and burn before you. The contents of your stomach began to churn. Had you pushed too far too soon? Did you say too much? Overstepped?
Run. That was the only option, then hide out in a desolate cabin forever and never show your face in town again. Yes, that was a good plan, a very good plan. Never have expectations, because that way there’d be no chance of being disappointed, those were the rules, and you knew them all too well. You were too busy silently kicking yourself for getting your hopes up that you missed all the emotions that were plaguing Regina’s face.
Backing away and fumbling over your words, you tried to choke out an apology, but the hand on your waist glided up to your back and pushed your body flush against her. All panic was washed away when plump lips ghosted over your quivering pout and wet tears brushed against your cheek.
“Don’t apologise.” she cooed.
It was Regina who closed the miniscule space between your lips, tentatively kissing you, delicately using her thumb to caress the back of your hand. The kiss continued, filled with more passion and desire. There under the stars you both lost and found pieces of yourself, held within the slow kiss was an exchange of vulnerability, shedding away responsibilities, memories, and the mere idea that you were ever going to be alone again.

Chapter 2: The Little Mermaid is my Sister-In-Law?
10 years later
There, in that god forsaken hospital, you sat with him.
Henry Daniel.
If there was one kid in the world who you adored above everyone else, it was Henry. So kind, so innocent.
“You’re princess of the Maritime Kingdom, see?” he once said.
You were sitting at your desk while he waited for his mother to get out of a meeting when he came over and started talking about his book.
“And this is your brother, Prince Eric!”
“What, like from The Little Mermaid?” He nodded. “So, Princess Ariel is my sister-in-law?” you asked.
He grinned. “Exactly.”
You held his storybook in your hands, having traded off shifts with Mary-Margaret just a half hour before to read to him.
“His favorite story is Snow White,” she had told you. “I just finished reading it to him, but I don’t think he’ll mind hearing it again.”
“Thank you, Mary-Margaret,” you smiled before hugging her. “Get home safe. Goodnight.”
When Mary-Margaret had left, you sat in the chair beside the bed and chose a random page–a story you had never even recognized but somehow felt familiar.
“Perhaps the Queen could be saved,” you read. “Perhaps true love could rid her of her darkness. So, that’s what the fairy did.” The illustration on the page depicted a blonde woman in green, ‘Tinkerbell’ she was called, who took the Queen’s hand and flew to a far away land. “In the window was a princess. “That girl there, with the star-shaped birthmark on her wrist, that’s your soulmate,” Tinkerbell said. “She’ll bring you happiness like no other.” The Queen wanted to believe her, but what would she be without her anger and resentment?”
You looked down at the page where a familiar sight lay. The birthmark. The exact same birthmark you possessed on your wrist. But how could it be possible? This is the real world. Soulmates don’t exist and magic certainly doesn’t either. But, could Henry be right? Could the dreams you’ve been having be memories? Relics of your past life in a land that is no longer?
“Henry,” you whispered, closing the book. “I know you can’t hear me, but–”
Your words were cut off by rapid beeping on the monitor. “What’s happening? Dr. Whale!” you shouted right as the glass doors of the ICU burst open and you were ushered out.
__________
“Thank you.” You smiled at the server as a plate of pancakes and bacon was set in front of you.
It was a long and sleepless night. You were on your third cup of coffee and it was only eight in the morning. So many thoughts ran through your head. The birthmark. The Maritime Kingdom. Your brother. Every dream you had experienced about this strange land. With each bite of your breakfast, it became harder and harder to swallow. You wanted to cry, to scream, to leave this world and go back to the world that you were apparently so happy in. And, as if your wish was granted by a shooting star, everything stopped in a rush.
You looked around the diner and noticed everyone looked dazed and confused. Standing up, you threw a twenty down on the table and rushed out the door. You had to find your brother. You had to find your family. You had to find Regina.
Henry was right.

My girl
Pairing: Karen Shetty x Fem! Reader
Warnings: kissing?
Plot: Karen knew her girlfriend was hot, her only problem was she wanted her all to herself.
—————————————————————————
Tumblr media
Northshore High was buzzing with activity as Karen Shetty caught the constant attention of students across the hall as they strolled. With Karen’s arm around y/n waist, the taller girl looked ahead with the same dazed look she always had. Although the couple garnered attention, it was Y/N who often found herself the object of affection for many boys.
One day, after their math class, Karen and Y/N walked through the crowded hallways, making their way past others to meet up with Regina and Gretchen. Y/N, with her hot demeanor and downcast eyes, attracted more attention than she was comfortable with due to her short plaid skirt with a cropped top, which was Karen’s favourite top on y/n, that hugged her figure. The taller girl, noticing the subtle glances and attempts at flirtation, couldn't help but feel a possessive twinge. Her normal dazed look twisted into a stare of jealousy.
As they reached Y/N's locker, a group of boys approached, led by Shane, the douchebag who was convinced y/n wanted to fuck him. "Hey, Y/N, I was thinking we could grab lunch together. What do you say?" he asked, flashing a charming smile. This went by with y/n clueless to the look the taller girl gave to the boy.
Y/N, blushing, looked at Karen for guidance. Karen, with a playful grin, replied, "Sorry, Shane, but Y/N and I have plans. We’re going to Taco Bell. Maybe next time."
Shane, undeterred, persisted, "Come on, Karen, can't Y/N make her own choices?"
Karen's eyes narrowed down slightly. "It's not about choices, Shane. It's about respect. And you should show some."
The days that followed saw an increase in attention towards Y/N. The school's rumor mill began churning stories of a rivalry between Karen and the persistent suitors. The tension reached its peak during a school assembly when Shane decided to make his move.
As the assembly ended and the students filed out, Shane approached Y/N with an assertive demeanor. "Y/N, we need to talk. Alone."
Y/N, feeling uneasy, glanced at Karen, who stood nearby. Shane, ignoring the silent warning, continued, "I don't know why you're with Karen. You deserve someone who can treat you better."
Before Y/N could respond, Karen, sensing the situation escalating, stepped forward. "Shane, we've asked you to back off. This is your last warning."
Shane laughed dismissively. "Or what? Are you going to fight for her, Karen?"
Fueled by a surge of possessiveness and frustration, Karen decided it was time to make a statement. She pulled Y/N into a passionate kiss, right there in the school corridor, in front of Shane and a growing crowd of curious students. God, Karen basically ate the girl in front of everyone, making sure that Shane saw how she slipped her hand into the top of the other. (Get a room 🗣️)
The kiss was intense, a mix of asserting dominance and expressing love. When Karen finally pulled away, she looked at Shane with a smirk. "That answers your question. Now, leave us alone."
As Shane retreated, flustered and humbled, Karen turned her attention back to Y/N, who was wide-eyed and blushing. "Karen, what was that?"
Karen, with a softened expression, caressed Y/N's cheek. "Sometimes, actions speak louder than words. I needed to show everyone that you're mine, and no one else's."
Y/N, still processing the bold move, whispered, "But, Karen, we could have handled it differently."
Karen grinned, "Maybe, but sometimes a bold move is necessary. And besides, I couldn't resist kissing you."

Reflections — Regina Mills x Fem!Reader
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
Synopsis: After getting the weekend to yourselves, you put your bedroom mirror to good use to give yourself a view that you’ve been dying to see.
Warnings: Praise, fingering, mommy kink, etc…

.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
The weekend was always your favorite part of the week, not only were you free from work but those two and a half glorious days were always child-free.
As of recently, Henry has come up with his own parenting plan. On weekdays he would stay with you and Regina then once the weekend rolled around he would stay over with Emma and Killian.
After certain disputes with Emma died down, Henry took full advantage of the double parenting to ensure everyone got to spend time with him.
He did stay with Mary Margaret and David on occasion but in the wise words of young Henry himself, 'they're too old school'.
It was only a matter of time before Henry got tired of trying to explain to them what a gameboy was and how it worked.
Today however was Friday, which marked the start of a brand new weekend. Everything went the same as usual, take Henry to school, help Regina in the office, grab lunch at Granny's, and last but not least, start spending the entire weekend alone with Regina.
While Regina was dropping Henry off at Emma's, you wanted tonight to be extra special for her.
It's been a while since you got all dolled up just for her and seeing you in her favorite color always made her jaw drop.
Working around the room, lights were turned off, candles were lit, rose petals were scattered, and you were frantically trying to make everything look perfect.
Although, all that was left was for you to slip on a little black dress but the second you saw your reflection in the mirror it's like you were caught in a daze.
The soft reflections from the candlelight had your skin looking like smooth silk. . .
And sheer red lace that barely covered your body seemed to hug in all the right places. . .
Your hands couldn't help but glide down the sides of your body before making their way around the back. With a slight turn, you watched as your hands slid down past the straps of your thong and admired the way it accentuated the roundness of your ass.
"Fuck. . ." You heard from an oh-so familiar voice.
You gasp sharply as your head whips towards the doorway to see Regina leaning against the doorframe with her bottom lip tucked between her teeth.
"I thought I was coming home to dinner. . ."
Regina kicks off her heels, instantly making her way towards you.
"But it looks like we're headed straight to dessert."
Her lustful voice got deeper than usual, just before her signature red stained lips collided with yours in a fiery kiss. Hands carefully cupped your cheeks while yours slid to her back in search of the zipper to her dress.
Regina giggles when she feels your fingers fumbling to pull the zipper down.
She walks you towards the bed and gently pushes you down onto the bottom half of the lush mattress.
You lift yourself up on your elbows and watch as she stands between your legs slowly gliding the zipper down.
You couldn't help but admire the way her lightly tanned skin was glowing under the candlelight.
Her dress falls to the floor revealing a matching black lace set that fits her body perfectly. Garters with little bows on them sat tightly against her thighs holding up her sheer black stockings that ended with a pair of black high heels.
Regina steps out of her dress, kicking it to the side, before climbing onto the bed above you.
She straddles your hips and instantly brings her lips back to yours. This time they felt even needier than before. . . more hungry.
Her hands reach around to unclasp your bra, sliding the straps down your shoulders and tossing it randomly behind her.
Breaking free from the kiss, Regina sends small kisses along your jawline and starts making her way down, leaving red lip stains in their wake.
Soft moans escape as she nips at your collarbone before heading straight towards your breasts.
She flicks her tongue over your hardened nipple.
Teeth slightly grazing across the sensitive bud.
"Mmm, mommy. . ." Your voice was just barely above a whisper.
Her dark chocolate eyes snap up to meet yours, caught off guard by the name slip.
She raises an eyebrow and brings her head back up to hover just inches in front of yours. Regina did her best at hiding the smirk begging to show across her face.
"Mommy, eh?" Her thumb swipes across your bottom lip.
"I'm sorry—"
"Don't be sorry," Regina quickly cuts you off.
"I find it rather. . . hot." She chuckles deeply before giving you another kiss on the lips, reassuring you in the best way she can.
You couldn't help the smile that spread across your face.
"You do?" Your bright eyes look into hers lovingly.
"Of course I do! You're just the sweetest little thing. . . call me whatever you like, okay?"
"Okay."
"Good girl. Now, is there anything you'd like mommy to do for you? Any requests while we resume our activities?" Her hand gently stroking your left cheek.
You contemplate for a moment, using your fingers to tuck a stray hair behind her ear. Eyes quickly darted to the mirror that stood behind her.
Regina turns her head to follow your eyes before looking back at you with her other eyebrow raised this time.
"What do you want? Use your words."
"I want—" You take a deep breath as you begin, cheeks glowing red as you're embarrassed by the fact she's making you be so forward. "I want to watch you fuck me in the mirror."
Regina looks taken back at your request, not expecting that sentence to ever come out of you.
"My little Angel doesn't seem to be so innocent anymore. . . I love it." Her nose scrunches as she finishes her sentence and gives you a quick peck before she moves herself to sit next to you with her legs spread.
She pats the empty space between her open legs, Regina now facing the floor length mirror that sat across from the bed.
"Come."
You sit up and take her hand as she helps you climb into her lap, both of your bodies facing the mirror.
She moves your hair behind your back and completely exposes your neck.
Tender eyes meet yours in the reflection.
"Is this what you wanted?" She asks, kissing your neck softly.
"Yes," You shudder when she reaches the spot just below your ear and tilt your head to give her better access.
Her free hand slides all the way down your side to reach your thighs and uses gentle force to spread your legs wider for her to achieve better access.
"Look at you, already so wet and we've barely even started." Regina chuckles at the prominent wet spot against your panties.
You hum when her warm hand reaches your center, playing with you through the thin fabric.
Her free hand slides across your chest to toy with your breasts and slightly pinches your nipple between her fingers.
You lean yourself as close as possible to her. Her breasts pressed heavily against your back.
You watch through the mirror as her fingers tuck beneath your fabric and move it to the side. The cold air hitting you sends a long chill up your spine.
"Open," She demands when she brings two fingers to your lips.
There was almost an immediate response to your mouth opening and Regina slowly sliding them in.
"Now suck for mommy."
You do as you're told and swipe your tongue along the length of her fingers and gently sucking at the tip before she pulls them back out.
Brown eyes scanned your nearly naked body as her now wet fingers slid back down to where it was prominently more wet.
Slim fingers toy at your entrance, almost teasing you along your folds before they easily dip inside.
A small moan slips from your mouth as she fills you. Your eyes watch through the mirror when Regina's lips return their attention to your neck.
She sucks and kisses along your neckline and across your shoulder while her pace steadily grows faster along your cunt.
Heat immediately spreads throughout your body at the pleasure of the slight curve of her fingers along with the subtle pinches against your nipples.
"You like this don't you?" Regina questions.
"You like it when mommy plays with you." She whispers lowly in your ear.
"Yes—God yes."
She watches as your eyes nearly roll to the back of your head at the full curve of her fingers. The different areas getting pleasure was almost too much to bear once she added the palm of her hand to your clit.
Moans of ecstasy filled the dim room around you along with the sounds of her palm gently smacking against your skin.
Expert fingers hit just the right spot with every skillful thrust.
"You're doing so good for me, darling."
Your legs couldn't help but twitch as you felt yourself nearing your release, fighting to keep your legs from closing.
Dark eyes were glued onto yours through the reflection when she heard your moans increase in volume.
"I want you to look at me when you finish, can you do that for me?"
"Y-Yes!"
Your head leans against hers as your hands claw their way at the sheets.
"Oh my god—" Your voice nearly catches in your throat as you finally reach the climax you've been running towards.
Your bottom lip gets roughly pulled between your teeth while Regina releases your tit to lay her hand atop your own that's grasped against the sheets.
Her movements soon turned gentle as she helped ride out your high.
"That's my good girl." She proudly speaks out, both of you still eyeing each other down in the mirror.
Your eyes immediately lighting up at her praising words.
She slowly removes her fingers and almost instantly brings them between her lips, quietly humming when she finally gets a taste of you.
Her fingers quickly get sucked clean.
"Stand up real quick my love so we can clean you up."
You do your best to stand so the two of you can clean yourself in the restroom. She sets you atop of the bathroom counter and swiftly cleans you with a wash rag, throwing it in the hamper when she's done.
"How about we put on a movie and order some of your favorite takeout?" She offers, knowing neither of you are now in the mood to cook.
You nod your head excitingly which puts a precious smile across her face.
"Okay then it's a plan," She chuckles and gives you a peck on the lips just before you return to the bedroom.
She opens her drawer and takes out two oversized button up shirts, tossing one to you and putting one over herself.
The two of you end up spending the rest of the night laying in each other's arms across the leather couch after a quick meal, easily falling asleep to one of your favorite movies.

Green Eyed Monster
paring: Regina mills x reader
TW: None but if there are tell me pls
Regina's POV
There he was. Captain guy liner. God i hate him. I know he just being himself,I guess, but did he really have to be after my girl. Always ready to put his hands on her. UGH i'm sick and tired of it. Worst of all, Y/N has no idea he's flirting with her.
"Hey Love, How are you?" his voice rings through granny's diner. "Oh i'm alright, how are you Hook?" that sweet angelic voice of Y/Ns sounds out next to me. "I'm doing wonderful now i've seen you, I was wondering if you would like to go on a little boat trip with me and the jolly roger" he asks with a smirk. How polite, he wants to take her on a date. I can feel the anger start to bubble beneath the surface of my skin.
"Oh well, I was just having lunch with Regina so maybe later?" she says. What. I'm right here, in front of her and she's going to say yes to a date. WHEN I'M RIGHT HERE. "Regina, are you ok?" her sweet voice trickles into my ears, "yes i'm quite alright, well since you and the handless wonder have a date. I shall be leaving" I say seething with anger. I get up and walk out.
"Wait Regina, Regina" I hear Y/Ns voice behind me but i don't look back. I can't bare seeing the smug look Hook probably has right now.
Y/Ns POV
"What was that about?" David asks coming out from the toilet. "I think Regina got a little jealous because this little lady would rather have me" Hook laughs. "Wha-what do you mean? did you ask me out on a date?" I ask with a confused tone. "Of course I did, i've been flirting with you for months. I new you'd choose m.." I slapped him before he finish his sentence and rushed out the door to find Regina.
I looked everywhere for her. Her house. Her office. Under the little tree we go to for picnics. I couldn't find her. Last place to check was the beach. While walking down towards the water I saw her figure walking in the distance. I ran as fast as my legs could take me.
"Regina, baby" I say, "I couldn't find you anywhere, I was worried sick." She looks like she's been crying. "Why would you care. You have a Captain to get to." she spits out at me. I can here the jealousy in her tone. "Why would I want to spend my time with some prick, when I you?" i ask, buts it not really a question. more of a statement.
"Well you too seem as thick as thieves together, so why would i stand in the way of your happiness" she says as she looks away. "Go on, go be with your handless wonder" she starts to walk off but before she can, I pull her into a passionate kiss. She rest her arms around my shoulders while my hands are on her hips.
I pull away when all the oxygen has left my lungs. "I know that your jealous" I say as i rest my forehead against hers. "And I know that you sometimes think that i'll just up and leave you for the fist guy I see." I pull her into a hug, "but no one has my heart like you do." She nuzzles into my neck. "I love you, but please be more aware when people flirt with you" she chuckles. "I love you too and i will" I laugh and pull her into another kiss.

Just Tell Her
merry christmas @poutpoutlilith <3 I was happy to be your squealing santa this year! this is my first time writing for ouat so bear with me, but i truly enjoyed writing every bit of it! thank you to @squealing-santa for hosting!
word count: 3,000
pairing: emma swan x regina mills
rated: pg-13
cw: talks of kinks, mild nudity, heated kissing scenes, intimate themes (no smut)
summary: emma is scared to talk to regina about her biggest kink.
Tumblr media
Emma was fierce. Always has been, always will be.
When she arrived in Storybrooke, she wasn’t afraid to speak her mind. She’d stand up to whoever necessary to do the right thing. She could, literally, kick ass and look pretty while doing it. But most importantly, she was never afraid to fight for Henry and his well-being, even if that meant crossing Regina Mills.
Regina Mills didn’t scare Emma. Never has, never will.
Sure, she’s tough and is definitely a force to be reckoned with, but not scary. Not to Emma, anyway. It took Emma a while to break through Regina’s powerful exterior, even after they got together. Regina would swear up and down that she didn’t have feelings for Emma the way Emma had feelings for Regina, but everyone knew it was a façade. It’s what made the people of Storybrooke less frightened. Mary Margaret was fully convinced Emma made Regina tolerable, but Emma knew that Regina had always had that soft spot. She just had to find it.
So, no, Emma was not scared of Regina, but for some reason talking about this to Regina scared the hell out of her.
It happened accidentally the first time—Regina had hugged her and when she pulled away, her fingertips trailed a little too lightly against her lower back. Emma hissed in response, arching away from the fingers and into Regina’s body. She cursed herself for reacting at all, but it was so quick that she didn’t have time to prepare herself.
The remembrance of her kink came flooding into her head and once it was there, it would set up shop for a while. She’d forgotten about it because of the length of time it’d been since she’d been with anyone romantically. Plus, she had to focus on Henry and saving Storybrooke. She didn’t have time to think about what turned her on.
Emma’s cheeks flushed red as she pushed Regina away from her. Regina raised an eyebrow, looking her up and down.
“Are you alright?”
A loaded question. Emma sniffled, waving her hand in the air to dismiss everything that had happened in the last 10 seconds. “Y-yeah, I’m fine. I just got a chill.”
Regina hummed and seemed to let it go because then she shook her head and continued to thank her for taking Henry camping so that she could get some work done. Emma absentmindedly kept the conversation going, but the still-there tingling on her lower back was taking up space in her mind. Too much space.
Even after the feeling faded away, Emma replayed the moment over and over in her head, the smallest smile tugging at her lips. She couldn’t help it. Tickling in general can, and will, make Emma turn into goo. Being tickled, watching others being tickled, even just reading the word—it’s her weakness.
And since that small moment with Regina, it was all she could think about.
Emma began secretly wishing that it would happen again. She wanted to feel her nerves pulse as Regina slid her fingers over her skin. But wishing wasn’t enough. No, it wouldn’t happen unless Emma talked about it, which Emma would like to do just about as much as she’d like to go back to Boston.
Though, as time went on and nothing ever happened, Emma began feeling antsy. Needy, even.
The second time it happened was also an accident, but Regina knew it’d tickled Emma. A string from Emma’s jacket was left astray on her neck and Regina reached her hand up and brushed it off. Emma squeaked and shrugged her shoulder up to her ear, a shiver running straight down her spine.
“Sorry,” Regina said, the corners of her mouth tilting up the smallest amount. “You had a string.”
Emma looked at Regina with wide eyes, but her smile betrayed her. “It was fine where it was.”
“It was bothering me. Not to mention it got the cutest reaction out of you,” Regina chuckled. This third time was not an accident, but Emma’s response was. Regina shot her hand up to Emma’s neck again, fluttering her fingers at the soft skin under her ear. Emma giggled, shrinking away and swatting at Regina’s hand.
“Stohop!”
It was an impulse. It’s what everyone says when they’re being tickled. Emma didn’t actually mean it. If anything, she wanted Regina to do it again. But she put the nail in her own coffin.
“Apologies, dear,” Regina grinned, stepping closer to place a soft kiss to the side of Emma’s temple. It was over as quickly as it started and Emma’s heart sank. She knows that people say that when they really don’t want to be tickled, so why on God’s green earth would she say that?
It put Emma between a rock and a hard place. She couldn’t take it back. Not without completely admitting that she liked it. So, she just sighed and continued her work, hoping that one word wouldn’t deter Regina from ever trying to tickle her again.
It did.
Regina hadn’t tried tickling her on purpose, nor had she done it accidentally. Emma was beginning to think that she was making a conscious effort not to and it was driving her crazy. Since that day Regina had hugged her—4 months back—all Emma could think about was being tickled by her. She even stooped as low as trying the oldest trick in the book—getting on her last nerve.
Despite hiding Regina’s favorite blazer and playfully ignoring her when she asked a question, she never tried it again.
Emma eventually gave up. The hope of Regina ever tickling her diminished faster than blowing out a candle. The thoughts were still lingering in her mind, but Emma stopped trying to antagonize her into it.
The fourth time it happened was just a stray of fingers during an impromptu make-out session that was nearing its way towards sex. Regina had pulled Emma out of the office abruptly, claiming she needed her for something important. It didn’t take long for Emma to figure out that ‘something important’ included lazy, yet hot kisses and trailing hands up her body to rip her clothes off.
The rendezvous had made its way to their shared bedroom within moments and Emma and Regina were already half-naked. Emma laid back on the bed and Regina crawled her way on top of her, seductively kissing her way up Emma’s body. Whimpers, moans, and hisses filled the silent room.
It only took a few minutes for Regina’s hands to skim their way up Emma’s body, lightly trailing over her hip bones and up her sides. Emma arched her back and a quiet giggle slipped from her mouth. Regina would have missed it had she not been face to face with her.
“Sorry, sorry,” Regina muttered through a kiss to Emma’s neck, which coincidentally tickled too. Emma smiled and flinched in reflex, but her eyes went wide. It was now or never. This would be the perfect time to bring it up without it being too weird but still, Emma’s heart thumped against her chest like a drum. It was almost painful.
“It’s okay, really,” Emma replied, moaning when Regina reached that spot under her ear. She wanted to say more, but Regina flattened her hands against her ribs and since she was very consciencely aware of where Regina’s hands were placed at all times, she held her breath. Her heartbeat was the only sound she could hear.
“You don’t have to say it’s okay. Especially if you hate it.”
Emma wasn’t sure what she thought Regina would have said, but it sure as hell wasn’t that.
“W-what?” Emma tilted her head to see her girlfriend better, giving her a quizzical look. “You think I hate it?” This set-up was almost perfect. It’s as if the situation had literally fell into her lap and she could tell the truth without feeling like she was dropping a bomb.
Regina sat up, sitting on Emma’s thighs and returning her look. “Well, yeah… don’t most people?”
Emma shook her head and raised a brow at Regina’s complete innocence. “Not necessarily,” she said. Regina hummed in response, but Emma was on the verge of telling the truth. The conversation couldn’t stop there. “What made you think I hated it?
“You told me to stop that one time I tickled your neck, remember?” Regina recalled. Of course Emma remembered. It was the only thing she’d thought about for weeks. How Regina’s eyes sparkled with mischief when she realized Emma was ticklish. How she smirked when she playfully flit her fingers on Emma’s neck. How she never did it again because of Emma’s slip of the tongue. And she couldn’t even fault Regina for it because of how easy it was to believe that she didn’t like being tickled. Emma had never brought it up and Regina had never tried before then.
So, now that the conversation had been brought up, Emma would finally tell Regina how she truly feels.
“Yeah, but I don’t hate it,” Emma mumbled, avoiding eye contact, “Everyone says stop. It’s a trauma response.”
Regina narrowed her eyes at Emma. “You don’t hate it?”
Emma shook her head, her eyes still laser focused on the bed sheets crumpled around their legs. Regina didn’t speak for a while. The gears in her head were busy turning as she remembered the signs. How Emma would antagonize her. How Emma would lean into her touch when they’d make out. It all made sense. Regina’s mouth tilted up into a small smile.
“You like it,” she said. A simple sentence that made Emma’s face burn hot. Her heartbeat felt heavier as her body tensed. Maybe this was a mistake. It’s not normal to feel this way about being tickled. Her ex knew that, hence why it was part of the reason he left. Just as Emma felt hot tears spring to her eyes in embarrassment, Regina’s cold hand touched her chin and lifted her head up to look at her.
Understanding. No judgement. Adoration. Maybe a mix of all three. That’s what Regina’s eyes held when Emma finally locked hers onto her girlfriend’s.
“How much do you like it?” Regina asked in genuine curiosity. Emma knew the answer and what she wanted to say, but all the preparations couldn’t have prepared her for this question. “I only ask because I have to know how far I can take this.” A smirk plastered itself on Regina’s face and holy hell, Emma’s heart constricted along with heat pooling in her lower abdomen.
“I, uh—a lot,” was all Emma could muster. She wished she wasn’t so paralyzed with fear even after knowing that Regina is clearly okay with it, but she’d always been this way. It took a lot for her to mention it in her last relationship and it ended with her ex calling it strange. She liked Regina. Loved, even. She just didn’t want to mess this up.
“A lot as in…” Regina lifted her tone into a question to leave it open for Emma, but she just reverted her eyes back down to the bed. “Does it turn you on, Emma?”
If Emma’s face wasn’t hot to the touch, it definitely was now. There are very few things that Regina is shy about and apparently tickling, and the prospect of using it as foreplay, isn’t one of them. Emma swallowed hard giving Regina the answer she was looking for, but she nodded quickly too.
“Look at me, dear,” Regina coaxed, rubbing her knuckles along Emma’s thigh. The pull in Regina’s voice was just enough to make Emma comply, so she sighed and looked up, attempting to find the acceptance in Regina’s face. “Why didn’t you tell me before? We’ve had plenty of sex and you never bothered to mention it.”
“It just never came up,” Emma shrugged. “When it did, I was so scared of what you might say or think that I just couldn’t talk about it.” She bit her lip anxiously and awaited Regina’s response.
“Emma, you can always talk to me. There isn’t anything on this planet that you could tell me that would make me hate you or scare me off,” Regina said, brushing away a stray tear that slipped from Emma’s eye. “I mean, maybe if you told me you eat people, that would be a different story, buhut…” A laugh slipped from Regina’s mouth, which got Emma to smile too. “But this? This is far from scary. In fact, it’s hot.”
Regina lifted her palms from Emma’s legs, leaving just the tips of her fingers to trace lazy and slow circles on her upper thighs. Emma was immediately covered in goosebumps, her hands gripping the bed sheets.
“Where are you ticklish?” Regina asked her lover sultrily, gently pushing her down to her previous position so she could get a good look at Emma’s body. Smooth and fawn-colored skin that Regina could manipulate in any way she wanted once given consent. Her fingers trailed back up to Emma’s hip bones, circling just above the waistband of her underwear. “I think I pulled a giggle from you right about here earlier.”
Emma giggled again, her stomach erupting with butterflies and heat rather than knots and anxiety. “Everywhehere. Pretty much everywhere,” Emma blurted out.
Regina’s eyes lit up with excitement. “That is wonderful news, Emma. Thank you for making this so easy,” she teased, scratching more firmly at Emma’s hips. “Now, I’ll ask you again. How far can I take this?”
“As far as you want,” Emma replied with a small moan interlaced with her words. “My safe word is ‘red’.”
Regina smiled at her girlfriend’s willingness to submit herself to this, the sheer excitement and wanting seeping from her skin. The slightest touch made Emma squirm, which Regina was delighted to see.
“Then, put your hands behind your head. Don’t move them,” Regina ordered, her core clenching at the sight of Emma in such a vulnerable position. Emma did as told and bit her lip through a grin. Her entire body was on display, only her undergarments shielding her from being completely naked. They’d come off eventually, Regina thought. “Good girl.”
Regina placed her fingers on either side of Emma’s belly button, softly spidering them across her stomach. Emma’s abdominal muscles reacted instantly, jumping underneath Regina’s light touch. Emma’s quiet giggles turned into a real laugh, making Regina smile with endearment.
“Oh, you are very ticklish, aren’t you?” Regina cooed as she continued lightly tickling the blonde beneath her. She couldn’t help but notice the tiniest moans and whimpers falling out of Emma’s mouth, the sounds filling her heart with joy and lust. Regina moved her fingers up to scratch at Emma’s ribs, earning her a loud gasp. Her arms shot down to cover the vulnerable area, but Regina halted her fingers, looking down at Emma with an arched brow. “What did I tell you to do with your arms?”
Emma blinked. “T-To put them behind my head?”
“And…”
“And not to move them,” Emma finished her sentence, her cheeks blossoming with a dark shade of pink. Regina adopted another smirk.
“Exactly. Put them back. If they come down again, I’ll have to restrain you, understand?”
Emma wasn’t sure if she could finish on words alone, but she was pretty damn close. She’d never seen Regina so dominant, but she really enjoyed it. So, Emma nodded and placed her hands back behind her head, lacing her fingers together so hard that her knuckles turned white.
Regina didn’t say anything in response to Emma’s compliance. Instead, she resumed tickling her girlfriend’s ribs, grinning slyly when she let out a whine followed by a belly laugh.
“Reginahaha!” Emma cried out, turning her head to laugh into her elbow. Regina tilted her head and let out a satisfied hum at Emma’s reaction. After another minute, she quickly shot her hands up to Emma’s armpits, laughing herself at Emma’s squeal and how fast her arms clamped down on her fingers. Regina continued wiggling her fingers despite them being trapped and Emma’s laugh turned into a cackle as she attempted to roll over to flee from her assailant.
The brunette stopped after a few more seconds and both of their laughter died down. The two of them locked eyes again, Emma breathing deeply to catch her breath and Regina brushing the hair away from Emma’s face.
“You’re adorable,” Regina spoke after the silence had lingered for too long. “I’m delighted to know this information about you.”
“Which part? That I’m ticklish or that I like it?” Emma propped herself up by her elbows and huffed. Regina shook her head and pushed Emma back down for the second time that night.
“Both. Now, I’m not done with you, my dear. As a matter of fact, we’re just getting started,” Regina said, bending down to kiss Emma. They both moaned into each other’s mouth at the contact. Emma reached up to lace her fingers through Regina’s hair, but she put a stop to that quickly by grabbing Emma’s wrist and pinning it to the bed beside her head. “I do believe I said that if you moved again, I’d be restraining you. Did you think I was bluffing?”
Emma rubbed her legs together and sighed. “No, of course not.”
Regina placed her fingertips at the base of Emma’s sternum and slowly dragged them down to her hips, relishing in the pleasurable moans seeping from her lover’s mouth. “Good. You wait here while I get the cuffs.”
Emma watched as Regina swiftly got off the bed and strutted into the closet, watching her hips sway with every step. Then, she formed a genuine smile.
To think that Emma was genuinely scared to tell Regina about a kink that has ignited a newfound fire in their bedroom is almost laughable now. She should have known that Regina would be open to anything that turned her on just as she would be for Regina. It’s how healthy couples worked.
Emma chuckled to herself as Regina came back with the restraints she promised. Little did she know, Emma disobeyed her on purpose just to get a taste of that punishment.

Professor Song Mingi. That's all that everyone talks about these days. Especially the women at this godforsaken school. It would range from, "Professor Song is so hot!" to "I'd let him bend me over." Was I the only one disgusted by this? As I approached my locker, I felt arms being thrown around me and I chuckled knowing who it was.
"Hi, Y/N!" My best friend greeted me. I turned around and properly gave her a hug. "Hi, Regina." I greeted back. Regina Mills, one of the most popular girls at school, was my best friend from childhood. We've been through everything together. From birthday parties to the first day of school. We even decided that we would go to the same university together! I was there for her when she suffered through her first heartbreak. Daniel Colter, a nice guy, died in a car crash three years ago. Her heartbreak had been so intense that it almost cost us our friendship since she shut everyone out. However, with my persistence, I was able to get her back on her feet. Now, she's happier than ever, especially since she met Robin Hood. His story? He fell out of love with Marian and vice versa, so the breakup was mutual.
Speaking of Robin, I saw him walking down the hallway and I waved at him to know where we were at. He saw us and a bright smile appeared on his face as he jogged over to our shared lockers. He gave Regina a kiss on the cheek and I gagged jokingly. Robin playfully rolled his eyes as he stuffed some of his things in his locker and shut the door. "Just you wait, young lady. One day, you'll be in the same situation as us." He said and I chuckled.
"That would imply that I had to fall for someone first. And so far, I don't see anyone that catches my eye." I said truthfully. I felt a presence beside me and I looked to see Zelena Mills, Regina's older sister, put her things in her locker as well. "Oh don't be silly, darling. You'll find someone eventually. We all do. However, if you're asexual like me, then things will be difficult. For you at least." She said before she brought out a textbook for her class. I looked at the textbook and I groaned inwardly. The four of us had English with Professor Song.
"Fuck me." I muttered to myself as I brought out my own textbook from my own locker. Soon, the four of us made our way to the lecture hall and sat down in our respective seats.
Time Skip
"Hey. Y/N. Wake up." Someone whispered in my ear. A hand grasped my shoulder gently and I jolted awake from the touch. I looked up to see Mary Margeret looking at me with concern while her boyfriend, David Charming, was packing up their stuff in their bags. "What time is it?" I groggily said as I stretched. "It's the end of class. Speaking of which, Professor Song needs to talk to you." She said and I groaned out loud. I'm most likely going to receive another lecture about sleeping in class.
"Regina! Wait for me!" I called out to her and she nodded before she, along with Robin and Zelena, exited the classroom. I sighed heavily as I trudged my way downstairs before stopping in front of his desk. Belle was beside Professor Song since they wanted to make sure that they understood the assignment. Once Professor Song clarified on certain parts of the homework, she said her thanks and walked out after giving me a small greeting. It was now us two and Professor Song took off his glasses & messed up his hair a bit. He smirked at me as he tapped the desk, indicating that I should sit on it. I obliged and sat on the desk. He was now standing in between my legs as he studied my face.
"You slept throughout class again. I'm ashamed of you." His deep voice resonated throughout the empty lecture hall as he continued to look at me. His hands were on his desk in a form that had me caged in between his arms. I crossed my own arms and looked up at him. "Ok and? Why should I care? It's not like we're dating." I said to him. I was already pissed off with him since he held me back. Now this? When will this end? "Is it your insomnia again?" Mingi asked in a gentle tone. As much as I hate to admit it, he's right. My insomnia got the best of me last night.
"So what if it is? Again, we're not dating so you should stop caring about me. Go back to Ingrid, your wife." I put emphasis on that word since I found out that he was married while we were dating back in high school. Mingi sighed in frustration and ran a hand through his hair. "I told you, it was an arranged marriage. Keyword: arranged." He corrected me, his deep voice going deeper. "It doesn't matter. I felt like a homewrecker when I found out about it - "
"WHEN WILL YOU REALIZE THAT I DON'T LOVE HER?! I ONLY LOVE YOU!"
"BULLSHIT! I SAW THE WAY YOU WERE HUGGING HER AND SMILING DOWN AT HER!"
"IT WAS FAKE! IT WAS ALL AN ACT! I NEVER SMILE LIKE THAT WHEN I'M AROUND HER! I ONLY DO IT WHEN I'M AROUND YOU!"
"IT DOESN'T MATTER! YOU'RE MARRIED TO HER AND THAT'S FINAL! SO JUST LET ME GO - "
Mingi's lips swiftly planted themselves on mine and I was shocked yet I kissed back, my eyes slowly closing. His hands found my waist and he lifted me up easily so I could straddle him while he sat back down in his chair. My arms were thrown around him and my hands were in his hair. His hands landed firmly on my ass and he squeezed it. A gasp escaped my lips and it granted him the opportunity to have his tongue enter and explore my mouth. I felt my sweater being pulled down and air hit my bare shoulder. His lips left mine and started working its way down my neck, collarbone, and shoulder. A quiet moan escaped my mouth as his tongue dragged itself around every inch of exposed skin.
"So damn beautiful. You are mine. Mine and only mine. I don't want anyone else looking at you. I love you. I will always love you." Mingi muttered against my skin as he pulled down my sweater some more so he can do the same thing on the other side. I was lost in pleasure due to his touch. It was rough yet gentle at the same time. He looked at me with those eyes, going from sharp to soft in a matter of minutes as he caressed my face and gave me another kiss. It wasn't aggressive like the first time. Instead, it held care and love.
"Please. I want you back. I can't handle being around Ingrid anymore. I miss you. Your touch, your smile, your love. I want it all back. I'm so sorry that I didn't tell you about my marriage. I never wanted it, you know? I never knew what love felt like until I met you. I want you to be my wife. I want to wake up beside you every morning. I just want you. That's all." Mingi confessed as he pulled away from me, eyes brimming with a few unshed tears. Our foreheads connected as he continued. "I'm filing for a divorce today. Fuck what she has to say or what her family says. I'm done with this marriage. I'm done. I don't want to be around her anymore."
"Then you don't have to be. If you need help, aunt Cora is a lawyer. She'll help you with whatever you need. Just don't cry, ok?" I said as I held his face in my hands. "I'll be yours again. Truth be told, I missed you. And I still love you." I confessed and his eyes brightened. "You do?" He asked quietly. I nodded before kissing him once more. He wrapped his arms around me and got up from his chair so he could spin me around. "YES! Y/N Y/L/N IS MINE AGAIN!" He shouted to no one in particular and I couldn't help but giggle at his excitement.
Bonus Scene
"And that's how we got back together." I explained to my friends. We were at Granny's Diner and I told them the whole story of how Mingi and I got back together. Regina and Robin had their jaws dropped to the floor while Zelena smiled. As our food came, the couple from across us stared at us long and hard. Mingi felt uncomfortable and I reassured him that it was alright. They just like to be dramatic. Robin munched on some fries while Regina took a sip of her coffee before she blurted out the first thing that was on her mind.
"So we can skip out on tests that we didn't study for?" She asked in a hopeful tone. "Nope! You still have to do your exams." Mingi shut her down and Regina pouted while I laughed it off.

Hi! Can I get Regina Mills + I'm Gonna Show You Crazy by Bebe Rexha? Thank you!
Fandom: Once Upon A Time
A/N: Again, this sounded like an angst fic song so I manipulated the meanings and mainly used words and sentences from the song rather than basing the plot on the song.

When the curse broke, you were probably the only person in the whole town who didn't judge her. She had created a curse and mostly ruined a townful of lives, but you still remembered how she had visited your office once in a while. She told you feeling guilt about how she and her father parted ways and how it was killing her. How she felt like she's crazy and can't be fixed, she was always over-thinking and felt like she was driving herself crazy. That she had been that way before, what prevents her to take that path again?
She had told you about wanting to get better, be a better mother for her son and learn to be more empathetic for people in town. You had tried to question why she hates Mary Margaret so much, but dropped it when Regina told you that she had broken a promise, and that's all she has to say about it.
You had helped her to listen to Henry more, to try and get along with Emma and even with Mary Margaret and very slowly, she succeeded in it. She tried to be more accepting to people she had despised and thought of as a threat before - most people in town still didn't like her, but some started to warm up to her upon realising she actually tried to get better. For the first time in years, Henry hugged her and said he loves her and she even started to feel grateful that Emma could take care of Henry if she couldn't.
You kept seeing her, never judging even if she had messed up, and Regina admired you for it. You were just so incredibly determined to help her through it all, not abandoning her and with your help, Regina actually felt like she could one day be a person she wants to be, live without bitterness or anger. Or rather, she knew she would one day achieve it.
One day, people would love her like she had always dreamed they would. She might have lost track on how many times she fell down and failed, but this was a beginning. This was hope, something that no matter what else happened, she still held onto it. That was a feeling she had lost long ago, but had gotten it back again because of you.
She would never stop being grateful for you, and would reward you for all the help once your meetings would come to an end.

masterpost of my fics on ao3
Just doing this because I want to have something pinned on my page here but well, a reminder of my old fics from different fandoms because kudos and comments are appreciated as well so it motivates me to keep on writing. Hopefully there's new ones updated soon as long as my inspiration kicks in.
Currenly working on two mevie fics so let's see how that goes!
username: carsonnieve
Let's start with the ones that are completed and I'm really proud of.
it's always about fate pairing: beca and chloe (pitch perfect) rating: T
Summary: Chloe sighed and walked in the coffee shop with the phone in her hands. She didn’t want to have this conversation today and yet there she was, talking about it when she just wanted a coffee and have a relaxing afternoon writing down new ideas for her stories and not pining over her online friend. Then the moment she looked up she saw someone she really wanted to see too and the reason why her heart was so divided and yet confusing. Beca.
2. unsay these spoken words pairing: regina mills and emma swan (once upon a time) rating: T
Summary: Because maybe, after all, she could take the pain and continue with her life. But maybe she thought she could, when actually her heart was already broken and the scattered pieces all over her chest were not enough to make her realize that she was alone, and hurt. She had hope... until she saw the ring on her finger.
3. fool for you pairing: harry hook x evie grimhilde (descendants) rating: T
Summary: Her smile forever gone after the images came back to her mind, sending chills all over her body and a strange feeling going slowly up her spine. And in that instant, she closed her eyes. Right when it hit her. Right when Harry stood up and placed a hand on her arm. “It reminds ye o’ that night, eh?"
4. let me pairing: mal and evie (descendants) rating: T
Summary: "Mal?" "I'm fine. Let's change and go dance, okay?" The girl tried to slip away from her arms but Evie kept holding her because she knew something was off. And it was right there, in that hug, when she felt a sting of pain way worse than the last. Her hand immediately went to her skin to keep it hidden. But Evie's eyes were already on the injury. And Mal was so ready to hear her complain about the dress she just destroyed because she wasn't careful enough with it. And to be honest, she just couldn't deal with that in that exact moment.
5. watch me ride the beat pairing: mal and evie (descendants) rating: E
Summary: “Oh! I’m so sorry! I wasn’t looking.” Wow, she’s even prettier in front of me. Evie thought with both of her hands on her shoulders for support, as the blonde’s hands kept a hold on her hips, keeping her still. “I’m really sorry.” The brunette ran her fingers through her hair and her other hand touched the girl’s nape, without her even noticing it. She seemed to be too busy holding Evie by her waist. Her fingers slightly touching her bare back. “Don’t worry. It’s not your fault. I wasn’t paying attention either.” or the smutty club!au fic no one asked for but i needed to write
and here comes the unfinished ones but that will be finished one day, trust me.
some things are meant to be pairing: mal and evie (descendants) rating: M
Summary: Everyone knew what a soulmate was back in Auradon, where princes and princesses lived their own happily ever after. Where their parents taught them what true love was without fear. Needless to say they believed in their own destiny but the idea of having a soulmate was so exciting for all of them. But back on The Isle… Descendants of pure evil weren’t fond of the idea, especially considering what their parents taught them; "love is not for us, love is weakness, we’re villains and you are our next generation to take over the world and finally get the revenge we so desire." But everything changed when four of them were sent to Auradon. And it all started when two girls were 6 years old... or the Soulmate!AU nobody asked for but I really wanted to write.
2. to find the light even in the darkest places pairing: mal and evie (descendants + shadowhunters universe) rating: E
Summary: Evie and Harry are two of the best shadowhunters of their generation. They never get in trouble and they always get the job perfectly done… until they go on a mission and everything starts to change and leads them into an unexpected path. Should they continue their normal lives or live as they want to without thinking of the consequences? Is it more important to find and follow love than their duties as shadowhunters and working for the Clave? Even when a new source of evil arises and things start to get more serious… is everything worth fighting for? It all starts with a simple order from the Clave… or the shadowhunters!au no one asked for but we needed to write
There's also two in Spanish in case I have followers who actually speaks the language and not just me and the last one is one of my favorites from my favorite couple so please check it out, thanksssss!!

Chapter 1: FFN | AO3 | Wattpad
Chapter 18: Back to Reality
FFN | AO3 | Wattpad
Excerpt:
"Happy First Day of School!" Regina said, placing a plate of pancakes down in front of Sophie. "Eat up and then you need to change into your uniform. You have all your new pieces, right?"
Sophie nodded as she placed some butter on her pancakes. "Is Daddy coming?"
"He and Roland are going to meet us at the school," Regina said, sitting down across from her. "We'll see them there."
"Okay," Sophie replied, feeling a bit disappointed Daddy wouldn't be there to see her come down in her uniform and take the traditional picture by the front door. But she figured he had his own traditions with Roland, no matter how much that still hurt to think about.
They ate their pancakes as they talked about the upcoming school year. Sophie shared her hopes for the year as well as her worries, which was that everything would be harder and she would struggle that year. But Regina assured her that even if she did find it harder, she would make sure she got the help she needed. "And I'm sure your father will do the same," Regina added.
"Thanks, Mom," Sophie said, feeling a bit better. She picked up her empty place and placed it in the sink. "I'm going to get changed."
"Okay," Regina replied. "You have about a half hour before we need to leave."
Sophie nodded, heading up to her room. Her uniform was already hanging on the doorhandle of her closet and she picked it up. It was the summer uniform, which meant she wore a white polo shirt with the Storybrooke Academy emblem over her heart paired with a solid navy blue skirt. Sophie pulled on some white socks before slipping her feet into her new blue shoes. After lacing them up, she went to her vanity and brushed her hair before heading back downstairs so her mother could braid it for her.
As she came down the stairs, she heard a familiar voice greet her. "You look beautiful in your uniform, Soph."
"Daddy?" Sophie asked, stopping where she was as she stared down into her father's blue eyes. They shone as he smiled at her, nodding. She nearly jumped into his arms, hugging him tightly. "Mom said you were going to meet us at the school!"
"That was the original plan," he said, hugging her just as tightly. "But your brother wanted to see you before we got to school. And honestly, so did I. So we decided to come and surprise you."
"It's definitely a pleasant surprise," Regina said. Sophie turned her face and saw her mother hugging Roland against her side as he smiled widely.
Roland wore the navy shorts students could wear as part of the summer uniform paired with the same polo shirt that Sophie wore. He looked her over before grinning. "We're dressed alike, Sophie!"
"Yes, we are," she said. "Everyone will be dressed like us. That's why it's called a uniform."
"Cool," he said, clearly impressed.
Regina released Roland and stepped forward. "Do you want me to braid your hair?" she asked Sophie.
"Yes, please," Sophie said, handing over her brush and bow. "Thank you."
She stood still as her mother brushed her hair. Robin sat on the stairs next to her, smiling up at her. "Excited for the new school year?"
"I am," she said. "But nervous. Fifth grade is going to be harder than fourth grade."
"That's usually how it goes," he agreed. "But you have your teachers, your mum and me to help you. So I think you're going to have no problem with fifth grade."
Mom leaned closer. "Just like I said."
Sophie beamed, feeling reassured. "Thanks, Mom. And thank you, Daddy."
"You're welcome," he said as Regina finished braiding her hair. Sophie felt her snap the bow into place before she stepped back.
"Okay," Regina said. "There's one last thing to do before we head to school. Against the wall, sweetheart."
Roland frowned. "Why does Sophie need to stand against the wall? Is she in a timeout?"
Chuckling, Sophie shook her head. "No. Mom's been measuring my height since I was really little, just like my grandparents did for her. It's fun to see how I measure up against her growth."
"My parents always measured me on the first day of school and so now I do the same with Sophie," Regina said, holding her pen. "Does your Papa measure you?"
"I do," Robin replied. "We have a wall chart that's a poster I can take with us from house to house. It comes with set times for me to measure him – pretty much every six months now."
Roland nodded, grinning. "It has Winnie the Pooh and his friends on it! I'm as tall as Winnie the Pooh!"
"That's impressive," Regina said as Sophie pressed herself against the doorway into the dining room. "Okay, sweetheart, stand still."
Sophie did as her mother said, resisting the urge to stand on her toes or crane her neck to make herself taller. Instead, she kept her feet flat on the ground and did her best to keep her head level as she felt her mother press the pen to the top of her head. Regina moved it a few times before nodding. "Okay, you can step back now."
"Thanks, Mom," Sophie said, stepping away from the wall. She watched as Regina darkened the line before writing the date by the line. Biting her lip, Sophie asked: "Where am I and where are you?"
"You are somewhere between my height in fifth grade and my height in sixth grade," her mother replied, pointing out the two lines before motioning to Sophie's newest line. "So you're taller than I was when I was your age. I think you get that from your father."
Sophie looked over at her father, who shrugged. "We do tend to run on the taller side in my family so it's possible."
"Does that mean I'll be taller than you?" she asked her mother.
"You might," Regina replied. "But I'll always be your mother and you still need to listen to me even if I'm shorter than you."
Sophie chuckled, knowing she would do that no matter how much taller she got. "Yes, Mom."
Robin checked his watch before standing. "I think we need to get the kids to school. Don't want to be late on the first day."
"No, we don't," she said. "Go get your backpacks and we can take a few pictures outside."
"Come on, Roland," Sophie said, taking her brother's hand. "I'll help you with yours."
She helped him put on his backpack before she put on hers. It was still light even though she had all her school supplies in there. But none of them weighed the same as some of her textbooks so it was much easier to carry it. Regina then held out her lunchbox, smiling. "Here you go, sweetheart."
"Thanks, Mom," Sophie replied, certain her mother had packed a healthy and delicious lunch for her.
Robin had handed Roland's lunchbox to him and took his hand. "Let's get some pictures. Nan and Pops are waiting for them."
They headed outside and Regina closed the door behind her. "Okay, stand in front of the door together and we'll get some pictures," she said.
Sophie and Roland stood next to each other as their parents took pictures. At one point, Sophie stood alone for a few shots before swapping out with Roland. Robin grinned as he finished taking his pictures. "Your grandparents are going to love all of these," he said.
"Do you want to drive together or separately?" Regina asked, tucking her phone into her purse.
"Are you going straight to work afterwards?" Robin asked.
She shook her head. "I'm coming back here to change. I always go in late on the first day of school."
"Then we can together," he replied. "We can take my car and I can drive you back here."
"Sounds good," she said, turning to Sophie and Roland. "Everyone in your father's car."
Robin opened the car and helped Roland into his booster seat before Sophie sat next to her brother. Her mother buckled herself into the passenger seat while Robin took the driver's seat. Once he was buckled up, he started the car and grinned. "First day of school, here we come!"
Everyone cheered as he pulled away from the house and drove toward the school. Regina turned around to face Sophie and Roland in the back seat. "You two excited?" she asked.
"Yeah!" Roland exclaimed as Sophie nodded. Regina chuckled before looking forward again.
"Here we are," Robin said, turning the car into a parking lot. Sophie looked out the window and realized her school was right there.
It was time.

Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea

Prologue: I’m Having Wet Dreams About my Boss
Soft kisses could be felt down your neck as the snug feeling of a corset hugged your waist. The voice in the hazy vision was familiar–too familiar.
“God, you are just a little slut for me aren’t you?” the voice groaned.
You took a deep, shaking breath. “Yes…” You gasped as teeth bit down on your neck harshly–a warning. “Yes, your majesty. I am…I’m your little slut.”
“Make me cum and perhaps I’ll reward you–if you beg enough. Now, get on the bed.”
And with that, you were pushed forcefully onto a plush mattress.
The image flashed and suddenly you were on a ship. You could feel the swaying of the vessel under your feet as it pulled into a harbor, the smell of the sea, and the sight of a palace just a carriage ride away. Sailors were bustling around you, tying lengths of rope, dropping anchors, and you watched beside…your parents?
Your estranged brother, Eric, you recognized. But your parents, they were always a hazy memory. You could still remember your mother’s laugh and the way you would stand on your father’s feet as he held you up and walked. Your childhood seemed so far away–so unreachable.
But what were these visions plaguing you, and why did they feel more like memories rather than dreams?

Clearing out my drafts - this one was started from a prompt on my original Daggzandarrows Tumblr account (which I stupidly deactivated *cries in soooo many lost fics*)
“Baby Peanut’s magic”
————
“If we suppress it, it will only hurt her in the long run.” Regina explained, her patience running thin because they'd talked about this for so long now and, as much as she loved Robin, he just wasn’t getting it. “She needs to learn to control it now, while she's young lest she lose control and, god forbid, kill someone.”
“She wouldn't.”
“Not on purpose, Robin,” she amended on a tired sigh. The kids were due home soon and the chance to speak so openly with him was quickly dwindling. “You know her temper. At least if she understood what it was, she'd be prepared.”
He shook his head, still pacing in front of the window as she watched from her place on the sofa. “I just…” he sighed, rubbing a hand over his face, “I don't want her to turn out like-”
“Like me?” It stung, penetrated deep and flooded her veins like acid.
His pace slowed as he turned his head to look at her, a look of horror on his face, “What? No! That's not-”
“Magic is in her blood just as it is mine, Robin. Regardless of who birthed her, Mills’ blood runs through her veins. You cannot condone my magic yet condemn Zelena’s because they are one and the same.”
“Regina, I-”
“If you'll excuse me,” she interrupted briskly, swallowing thickly as tears glistened in eyes that wouldn't lift to look at him, “I need to make a start on dinner.”
————
“Is Mom sick?” Henry frowned as he watched Regina walk from the room, the plate of food in her hands barely touched unlike the children's empty plates she’d stacked beneath her own.
Robin swallowed guiltily, his own food inedible with the way his stomach was knotted. She'd barely looked at him since before dinner and had immersed herself in the children when they'd bounded through the front door, full of joy and caked in dirt having spent the afternoon in the forest with Robin’s men.
He felt awful.
“I think she's just a little tired, Henry.”
“She looks sad,” Scarlett frowned worriedly with eyes still on the door through which her mother had walked, “do you think she'd like a hug, Daddy?”
He couldn't help but smile with absolute affection at his daughter’s words, nodding his head as he replied, “I think she'd love that, darling.”
————
Her shoulders shook with her silent sobs as she pressed her face harder against her legs, wrapping her arms tighter around her knees and berating herself for getting so worked up over something she knew Robin hadn't meant.
He loved her, loved every single part of her - he'd spent many years now reaffirming that belief in her - and she knew that included her magic, he was just worried that it would corrupt their girl like it had done Zelena and Regina both and his fear wasn’t irrational...it was just unnecessary.
He didn’t understand how frightened Scarlett would be should she feel that first surge of power without knowledge of what it was or where it came from. There’d been many a night in which Regina had stood watching in the doorway of their daughter’s room as her dreams had been magically projected onto the ceiling, chuckling softly as her teddy bears had danced about the room in a way that had been strangely elegant.
It was beautiful, their daughter’s magic, but it could change and Regina wanted her to be prepared for that in a way that she herself hadn’t been.
There was a tug on her fingers that startled her, eyes wide as she lifted her head to blink wetly at the very person she'd been thinking of staring concernedly back at her.
“Why are you crying, Mama?”
She’d inherited magic from Regina’s side of the family but had most certainly inherited Robin’s ability to move silently when he wanted to. “Oh, I just stubbed my toe, sweetheart,” she replied and she hated lying but this was not something she was ready to discuss with their daughter yet, not until she and Robin were agreed on the best course of action. “It really stung.”
Eyes as blue as her father’s but as expressive as her own blinked back at her, a shadow of suspicion there as Scarlett looked to her bare feet and back again.
She changed the subject - or at least her daughter’s train of thought - by holding out her arms to Scarlett and asking, “Can Mama have a hug? It’ll make me feel much better.” And that was no lie.
Dimples dented chubby little cheeks as Scarlett nodded and reached arms up towards Regina, giggling wildly when she tickled at her sides as she lifted her onto the bed and placed her in the gap between legs now crossed, folding her arms tight around her daughter’s waist as small arms wrapped around her neck in turn.
Regina threaded her fingers through strawberry blonde curls and held Scarlett’s face to her neck as she cried quietly, trying to keep her shaking to a minimum. Their daughter was good in spite of her conception. Inherently good and that wasn’t only because of Robin but because of her too. She knew that even on her worst days.
They’d raised her in the right way - Zelena’s visits were still supervised even now and they’d never heard anything to be cautious of but it would remain that way lest she even dare think she could corrupt the goodness in Scarlett’s heart - but Regina knew the lure of dark magic. Knew how it could whisper in your ear and wrap around your heart.
It was a chance they weren’t willing to take where Zelena was concerned despite Regina’s own desire for a change in her sister much like her own. There was simply too much to lose.
“Can I sleep with you tonight, Mama?”
Her heart ached in her chest as she stroked her fingers through Scarlett’s hair and nodded, “Of course you can, my darling.”
————
She wasn’t sure of the time nor how long she’d been asleep but when she blinked open heavy eyes, she found Robin to be sitting in the armchair in the corner of the room watching them sleep. He looked exhausted and completely guilt-stricken. It was automatic and instinctual for her to lift a hand from Scarlett’s back and hold it out to him.
Robin didn’t hesitate to cross the small distance to the bed and slip carefully beneath the covers, instantly leaning up and over their daughter to press a kiss to Regina’s lips. “I am so sorry, my love.”
Regina shushed him gently, accepting another lingering kiss from him before she lay her head back down onto the pillow and watched as he did the same after dropping a kiss into Scarlett’s sleep-mussed curls. They lay in silence for a long moment, just soaking in the tiny child in their arms and the joy she brought to all of their lives much like her brothers before her. A child not born of Regina, much like the other two, but just as embedded in her heart.
“She may be Mills by blood,” Regina began quietly, shushing him gently when he moved to apologise, to tell her he hadn’t meant that. “But she’s also a Locksley by heart and soul. She’s so good, Robin. Much of the darkness in both Zelena and myself was out there by years of neglect. We chased that with a need to be loved by people who didn’t have the capacity to and that in turn bred abuse and an acceptance that that was what we deserved…until we couldn’t stand it anymore.”
“That dark path was a choice both Zelena and I took. I was simply lucky enough to find people to pull me back from that, to make me realise that there was so much more for me to find in the light.” She pressed a kiss to Scarlett’s temple when the girl snuggled deeper into her hole without waking before continuing. “One day Zelena might realise that too - maybe she’s already leaning that way, only time will tell…but Scarlett will never have to wonder if she is loved because we show her everyday. She will never feel alone because she has a whole army of people behind her. And she will never feel scared because we are going to tell her the truth.”
“Within reason,” Robin laughed softly, and she breathed a laugh in return because yes, some things she didn’t need to know just yet. But others…
“I suspect she already knows she can do special things or at least sense it, I began to suspect at her age,” she smiled down at the angelic features so relaxed in sleep, reminded of Henry at that age and Roland too, not yet aware of how dangerous or scary the world could be. “I just don’t want her to fear what is a part of her. I don’t want her to resent her magic, not when we can prepare her for it, when I can teach her to wield it properly.”
“I know,” Robin moved forward to capture her lips in a kiss that said so much more than he could. It was full of apology, of compassion and of promise. She was not alone. He stayed close when he allowed the kiss to break, stroking a hair through Scarlett’s curls. “I don’t want her scared either. I want her to feel confident in who she is, to know she can be whoever she wants to and we’ll always be there to catch her if she falls…it’s just…”
“Scary?”
He nodded, relief colouring his features that he was finally communicating what he’d been trying to say earlier. “I have absolutely no doubt that you will keep her safe, Regina. I trust you implicitly.”
She smiled tenderly at him, eyes moving over his face for a long moment before she admitted, “It scares the hell out of me too, Robin…” and then, “but the thought of Scarlett disliking or even fearing any part of herself scares me more.”
Robin leaned in once more to press a kiss to her forehead, cupping the back of her head as he moved in closer to hold his two favourite girls as he pressed his forehead to her own and promised, “Then her lessons start tomorrow. Let’s show our daughter another of the beautiful things about herself to love.”
And with those words, another dark shadow began to fade from Regina’s bruised heart as she closed her eyes and cuddled close to her family. Her world.

Something Wicked This Way Comes, Chapter 31
Tumblr media
The Prosperous Lands. (Standing on the cliff overlooking the valley below, Regina and Emma use their combined magic to remove the protection spell surrounding the Prosperous Lands. When the barrier fades from sight, the cheers from below rise up to greet them.) Emma: “I think we’re a hit.” Regina: “Let’s go home.” (Each taking one of Maria’s hands, Regina and Emma swing their daughter between them. Maria giggling with glee as she is carried back down the hill towards Storybrooke.) Storybrooke. Main Street. (A short time later, the Swan-Mills’ are met by the Charmings after David and Neal have retrieved Snow from the sheriff’s station.) Snow White: (Pulling Emma in for a hug:) “Oh, Emma. I’m so sorry for what happened on the bridge, I couldn’t stop the words from coming out of my mouth.” Emma: “It’s all right Mom, we understand.” Snow White: “Oh, and Maria. (Bends down to embrace her, squeezing tightly:) I’m so glad you’re okay.” David: (To Regina:) “So that’s it, Medea’s gone?” Regina: “Gone to join her master in hell, yes.” Snow White: (Chiding:) “Regina! There are children present.” Regina: (Scoffs:) “You’ve got to be joking, right?” David: “And what about the Jabberwocky, is she…” Emma: “She’s er… (Looks to Regina:) Locked away safely, for the time being.” David: “What do you mean by that?” Regina: “We’re still deciding exactly what to do with her. She’s not going anywhere in the meantime.” Snow White: “Well, we trust you of course, but I wouldn’t leave anything to chance.” Emma: “We’re not, we’re just… considering our options.” Snow White: (Notices the pensive look on her daughter’s face:) “Is everything all right, Emma?” Emma: “Hm? Oh, yeah. I’m… (Glances down at Maria who smiles up at her:) We’ll talk later.” Snow White: “Okay.” David: “Well we better be getting this guy to bed.” Neal: “But, Dad!” David: “No buts, buddy. It’s way past your bedtime.” Regina: “It’s way past all our bedtimes. (They part ways with the Charmings and continue walking:) I feel like I could sleep for a month.” Emma: “At least.”
