Know that this worldly life is no more than play, amusement, luxury, mutual boasting, and competition in wealth and children. This is like rain that causes plants to grow, to the delight of the planters. But later the plants dry up and you see them wither, then they are reduced to chaff. And in the Hereafter there will be either severe punishment or forgiveness and pleasure of Allah, whereas the life of this world is no more than the delusion of enjoyment.
- {Surah Al-Hadid, Ayah 20}

To jab insaan ko koi taqleef pahuchti hai to wo hamein pukarta hai phir jab hum use lapet dete hai apni naemat mein to wo kehta hai ye to mujhe mere ilm - danish ke sabab mili hai . Nahi! Wo to aazmaish hai magar unme se aksar nhi jaante.

And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision,
Rejoicing in what Allah has bestowed upon them of His bounty, and they receive good tidings about those [to be martyred] after them who have not yet joined them - that there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.
They receive good tidings of favor from Allah and bounty and [of the fact] that Allah does not allow the reward of believers to be lost -

It was said to Shaykh Al ‘Allaamah 'Abdul 'Azeez Ibn Baaz
“Oh shaykh, so and so has become misguided”. The Shaykh replied:
“Perhaps his deviation was due to two things:
1. He didn’t ask Allâh for Ath-thabaat (firmness).
2. He didn’t thank Allâh for Al-Istiqaamah (steadfastness)
So when Allâh chose for you the path of guidance, it was not because you are special, nor was it because of your obedience. But rather, it was a mercy from Him that enveloped you. He can remove it from you at any time.
Therefore, do not be deceived by your actions nor by your worship. And do not look down upon the one who has deviated from His path. For had it not been due to His mercy, you would have been in his position.”

The same pen that wrote for Yusuf to be sent to prison, deprived of his rights and denied justice, was the pen that wrote for him to become a minister, reigning over the treasury of Egypt.
The same pen that wrote for Yusuf’s brothers to dominate over him and throw him in the well
is the pen that brought them to Egypt, standing before Yusuf in need and at his mercy.
The same pen that took Yusuf from the arms of Yaqoub, returned him to his father years later as a Prophet and minister.
I do not know what may be written in my story next. But I know who holds the pen.
Shall I not trust the One who wrote the best of stories to write my story too?

“Most people like the man who is salih (pious) but they dislike the Muslih (the one who corrects and reforms his society). So you will see them loving the Salihoon and showing enmity to the Muslihoon. The people of Makkah loved Muhammad (ﷺ) before his Prophethood as he was a salih, but when Allaah sent him as a Messenger and he became a Muslih, they opposed him. The reason is because the Muslih clashes with the core of their whims and desires.”
