"Why did Din mansplain manipulate malewife his way into giving Bo the Darksaber when he wouldn't give it to Paz?" 1) Paz Vizsla—who up to that point had solely been presented by the narrative as a loyal Mandalorian and Professional Din Djarin Hater (we love him for it)—rolled up to my man Din like "maybe you suck at the Darksaber because it belongs to me because my ancestor made it." (tBoBF, S1E5.) Then he directly challenged Din to a duel. If you think Din wouldn't respond to that with "hell yes let's fucking go," then you don't understand Din.

2) Bo-Katan had already refused to accept the Darksaber from Din and did NOT challenge Din to duel for it even though she had ample opportunities to do so. She could've challenged Din in her own throne room. It certainly would've helped her get her squad back so she could retake Mandalore! But she'd given up. She lost faith.

3) By the time Din and Bo are before Axe and the fleet, Bo has proven herself a capable leader many times over. She's had a genuine come-to-Mythosaur moment, she rescued Din, she's performed the highest of Mandalorian services by rescuing a child, AND she's been honored by the covert's leader (Din's leader) to work to bring other Mandalorians back to the Way. Also she was literally trained as a leader from birth (not JUST born to it, which Mandalorians *SHOULD not care about.)

4) Din cares about two things: Grogu, and being a good Mandalorian. Being a good Mandalorian in that instance meant following his alor's word and ensuring that Bo-Katan be successful in her appointed mission to bring Mandalorians together. It didn't matter to him up until that point because the Darksaber ONLY matters to the people who believe it matters. "Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government!"

5) So my boy (who demonstrated throughout that episode—and even before—that he's very good at sussing out the reasoning methods of an individual/group and utilizing those methods to further his own goals,) thought about it for 5 seconds and figured out a way to convince Axe and the others (and Bo, for that matter) that, actually, this stupid shit I mean super important symbol belongs to Bo. He used the group's own programming (lol droids) against them.

6) "But using that logic it would ACKCHULEE belong to—" Great, you've figured out how stupid the Darksaber bylaws are. That's the whole point.

*There are some Mandalorians who do care about bloodlines but they suck and it goes against OG Mandalorian culture.

Not related to much of anything, but I love seeing YD's posts over on twitter. She's being so positive, and seeing all that excitement is downright adorable

Like when she saw a clip of Phil running over to pick her up after she got downed on her first day

Not to mention all the fanart she's been retweeting, even asking at one point if retweeting or quote-retweeting was better because she wanted to start sharing the fanart that people were making

I also wanna say that I really liked Jyungreok's (Let me know if I spelled that wrong) energy too when he joined, he was absolutely hilarious. Though he hasn't been on as much to see. Same with Acau and Kong (Again, let me know if I'm spelling these wrong)

It's just nice to see this kind of positivity again and remember the great things that this server can bring to people all around the world. ALL THE REP TV EASTER EGGS IN THE NEW AFTERGLOW MV !!

The first image shows a graveyard that we saw in the background when actors Charlie and YN were walking down a path, it’s the same one from the LWYMMD music video. When they were on a date at Olive Garden (which was included in NBNC and this song has a rep feel to it) YN’s phone has new year’s day playing and one of the rings on her hand is a snake ring. The black and white colour scheme of the heart on the building is the same as the reputation colour scheme. The TS written in the sand was first thought to be a Debut (Taylor’s Version) hint but after the overpowering reputation hints perhaps it means reputation (Taylor’s Version). There was a bracelet in the background of YN and Charlie’s kiss in the mv (which took place in YN’s bedroom) where in the background there was a black bracelet among the pink colour scheme that said “REP”. The paper on Charlie’s desk littered with kisses from YN had lyrics to So It Goes… on it.

luffy’s phrasing when he talks about his goal (kept from the audience) is identical to what ace said to yamato in the chapter 1000 flashback when presumably telling him about the same thing (also offscreen)- he says it is his 夢の果て/yume no hate. to quote what i said about ace's line in that chapter:

果て/hate is kind of a hard word because it’s most often translated as ‘end,’ and that is right, but i feel like it gives the wrong sense. ('end' in english is usually better translated into japanese as owari.) hate is more like the limit, the furthest point- i’d maybe translate it as something more like ‘endpoint.’ “the endpoint of my/our little brother’s dream.”

My very convincing and not all circumstantial list of evidence that the Bugsnax journalist is attracted to Chandlo (It's very circumstantial):

They try to imitate the way he speaks a couple of times, but based on Chandlo's reactions, they just come off as awkward. Journalist: Thanks, Chandlo, you really "slam dunked" my questions. Chandlo: Bro, that's not- just... don't. Chandlo: I gotta be stronger than a Grumpus! I gotta push my limits, ya feel me? Journalist: [Option 1] I feel ya. [Option 2] Word. Chandlo: (looks unhappy) Uh... (squints) I need your help to bulk up. As far as I can remember, Chandlo is the only one they do this to, or even seem particularly awkward around. They also mimic his speech style in a few places in their journal, but it's unclear whether or not they're just quoting things Chandlo said offscreen. Again, they only do this when talking about Chandlo. Do they want him to think they're cool or something? Because it seems to be having the opposite effect.

Look at this piece of art for Chandlo's main quest:

Assuming the Journalist is meant to have drawn the quest art in-universe, that's an interesting choice of framing. His arm is the focus of the image, to the point it takes up more than half its width. That is a muscular arm with some kind of snout guy attached. I know Chandlo has large arms and is always flexing, but still...

Finally, the descriptions for the interview quests all have variations on "time to ask the [occupation name] questions." For example, they call Wiggle a musician, Floofty a scientist, and Cromdo a salesman. Chandlo, though, gets called a "beefcake". They could have called him a builder, like in his profile, or a carpenter or a basketballer, but they went with beefcake.
