METALLICA, FROM TEXAS TO THE WORLD: Metallica’s Aug. 18 and 20 concerts in Texas - each night with a different setlist - will be simulcast in movie theaters worldwide.

HORNSBY TO MAKE SOME SPIRIT TRAIL NOISE: Bruce Hornsby & the Noisemakers will celebrate 25 years of Spirit Trail with a “special tour” in the fall. Attendees will receive a copy of the Spirit Trail 25th-anniversary Edition box set; “more on that soon,” Hornsby said.

MOVIN’ OUT (BILLY’S MSG SWAN SONG): Billy Joel’s residency at Madison Square Garden will end in July 2024 on the occasion of his 150th gig at the venue, thus ending a monthly tradition that began in 2014.

3000 notes - I’ll actually start to study for school and not just wing it

4000 notes - I’ll stop being such an asshole to my parents Jesus Christ how do they deal with me

5000 notes - I’ll come out to my mom as trans

Try and reach the goal before uhhhhh I dunno April 16th

I may add more later, depends on how fast yall go through the goals, I have a lot of things I need to do (mainly because I need to start caring about my health and how I treat other people). I dunno, let’s see how this goes

Curious, because my husband and I are trying to help our 8th grader get shit organized and apparently we had VERY different approaches as teens:

In middle/high school, how often did you throw away graded work (homework, quizzes, etc) from your classes? If it varied (by class, year, etc), go with what you did most often.

OAK RIDGE BOY RETIRES MID-FAREWELL TOUR: Health issues have led Joe Bonsall to retire from the Oak Ridge Boys as the band continues its farewell tour. Ben James is taking Bonsall’s place in the vocal group.

“The Oak Ridge Boys will finish the Farewell Tour without me, but rest assured, I am good with all of it,” Bonsall said in a statement.

JOHN MICHAEL MONTGOMERY TO RETIRE AFTER ONE LAST TOUR: Country singer John Michael Montgomery plans to “wind down my touring career” over 2024 and ’25.

“It’s been a wonderful run for me,” he said.

You don't always have to know your birth time for your moon phase (sometimes is needed to see what degrees is your moon at but if you don't know your birth time is perfectly fine)

Just search on Google your birthday for example

" 09.05.1988 moon phase" and then you will see what moon phase is and what it says about your moon phase/ or you can search moon phase calculator

Just like last year, I had a goal to draw at least one drawing each month so here are my favourites! Though I admit I wish I had drawn more, especially with traditional media. Then again, I've been struggling with pain in my right wrist for over a year now so it's partly due to health reasons.

And, as a result, my relationship with my art is currently quite tricky. While I can tell on an intellectual level that I'm not bad at drawing, it feels like I am. And, quite often, I find myself asking why I even bother. Which is confusing since I LOVE drawing. But I guess we all end up in slumps sometimes?

Here's to hoping that 2024 will be more optimistic! :D
