The sycamore trees on my street are massive, and the branches have grown like sheltering arms over the road. A miraculous and amazing neighbor decided to light all the trees this year and pay for the electricity. 😳 Hundreds of people have walked and driven along the street to admire how magical it is. But even better, are the cleverly displayed QR codes that give those who would care to a chance to donate to two beloved local charities who support refugees in our state, and the unsheltered.

I'm not sure I believe in an Almighty. I haven’t spoken to God in a long time. But if one believes in the Bible story and Mary and Joseph's search to find a place to lay their heads, they were both refugees and unsheltered. So I can’t think of a more beautiful symmetry.

Wherever you are tonight I hope you’re enjoying your own very magical Christmas moment. I love you. 💕 Thank you for making me a better person through your examples over this year.

So my friend, Mr. John, is an awesome, loving, and caring man! He helps everyone he can whenever he can. However, his sister Mary has been going through it for awhile, and now, he's unable to help her as it would make him lose his housing. Please take the time to read her story, and please consider helping her:

"Hello, I've battled stage 3 aggressive brest cancer with 38 weeks of chemo, 15-week radiation, and 4 surgeries. Within the past 18 months, due to the overwhelming amount of doctors and hospital bills, I'm in remission at the moment, but it had left me to file bankruptcy. I've lost everything except my car. But $675 is needed before Friday the 30th so I can keep my car. I thank you for any help that is given. Thank ya so much."

I also wanna mention that when Mary set up a GoFundMe for her friends and neighbors to donate to in order to help her out, they didn't help. Instead, they made fun of her and ridiculed her. She told me they basically made her "the laughing stock of the town." 😕 So fr, she'd really appreciate the help; she more than deserves it ATP.

When I scanned the code, it took me straight to a Google drive. I was hesitant immediately. The first folder in the drive is titled, “Arkansas Abortion Amendment Myth vs. Fact” and that was pretty much a dead giveaway; the lady stopping folks headed to an event intent on signing the abortion petition was going to hit them with disinformation first.

Another folder in the Google drive was something called “Decline to Sign.” This graphic included bulleted points. Among them: *No licensing for healthcare professionals at abortion medical facilities. *No ultrasound required before an abortion to determine fetal age and location. *Would make it harder to combat sex trafficking and child abuse. *No health and safety standards imposed on abortion clinics. Wow. That was a lot of weird and incorrect information. I would think a doctor would know the location of a fetus, and forcing a person who has been sex trafficked into delivering a pregnancy is just about the most disgusting and cruel act I can imagine. The rest of the points are at least stretching the truth if not flat out lies. Was the woman standing in that parking lot just some solitary extremist trying to dissuade voters from signing a petition? Some woman who got a crazy idea, created a Google drive, printed up cardstock with a QR code, and decided to lie to folks on their way to sign a petition in a small town in Arkansas?

No. “Decline to Sign” is a coordinated movement and we saw it in Missouri as well. It is well-funded and not at all grassroots. They have signs, sites, and lawmakers who are bought and paid for to do their dirty work. I noticed “Decline to Sign” popping up on social media from Missouri GOP State Senators and Representatives. The messaging was exactly the same. Some Reps even started tweeting out videos of themselves, sitting on the same couch in front of the same bookcase, reading a script about “out of state” folks coming to Missouri to gather signatures and steal identities or allow abortions up to birth. It was creepy because it was so scripted and the deliveries were so automated. The politicians also had those dead eyes you need to straight up lie to someone. I’m not exaggerating when I tell you it is Orwellian. Nearly the exact same words were seeping from the dry mouths of several extremist Missouri lawmakers.

There were nearly a dozen who were recruited for the videos, but here are just three examples: Senator Mary Elizabeth Coleman, Representative Doug Richey and Representative Justin Sparks. Each one took their time to stare into the camera and lie about the abortion petition. The videos gave me chills and let me know we are up against a machine that wants to take away bodily autonomy from everyone, and keep us from fighting back with ballot measures to return bodily autonomy. The good news? Missourians had just over 90 days to gather 180,000 signatures to put abortion on the ballot. Friends, we collected 380,000 signatures! Read that again…we gathered over 200k more signatures than we needed to put the measure on the ballot in November. We still have obstacles to returning bodily autonomy to Missourians, though. The GOP is planning to take away one person, one vote and strip us of the ability to pass Constitutional amendments. They are planning to take away a simple majority vote to pass amendments. That will be a disaster for Missourians and I’ll write more on it in another post.

@kindworldsword asked me what I'd recommend for someone visiting London for the first time.

This has gotten quite long, so I'm putting everything under a break. Nevertheless I've likely have forgotten something I love doing while in London.**

Honestly though, most of the times I just walk around the city, go to the theatre, and eat lots of food, so the most important recommendation is: Take a good pair of shoes and an appetite. (If you would like restaurant recommendations, message me.)

Have a great time!

Things to do in and around London

Take a walk along the river

This is my go-to walk. I do this when I'm back in the city. I do this when I'm stressed out and need to clear my head. I do this when I've got some time left before leaving.

Start at Embankment, cross the river on the right bridge to get a view of the House of Parliament and the London Eye. Continue to walk eastwards along the river - you'll see quite a few famous landmarks like the National Theater*, the Tate Modern, the Globe Theatre. Take a break at the Tate (the perks of free entry) and have a look at the Rothko room or join a free guided tour. Continue along the river - you can take a detour along Borough's Market for food and drink or skip that part and just walk until you're at Tower Bridge. Is it a touristy spot? Yes, it sure is. It's also a great spot for some people watching and catching a bit of sun sitting on the lawn in front of Bridge Theatre.

*National Theatre

There's a viewing gallery at the Dorfman Theatre, so if you're around there before their matinee show: Go along the left side of the building, walk past the stage door, up to the Dorfman entrance. The indoor walkway will take you past the costume designer's working space - which is well worth the detour.

Book a free ticket for the Horizon22

Not as touristy as the Shard or Sky Gardens, and even better: It's free. The Horizon has the highest viewing platform in the city right now and you'll have a spectacular view of the city. Most people working there are up for a chat about the view and really knowledgeable. It's near Liverpool Station and you can also try and book a ticket via QR Code at the entrance door.

Buy a theatre ticket

Go online or visit the TKTS boot at Leicester Square. If you're lucky you can get fringe theatre tickets or seats further back in the more famous theatres for little money. The Globe theatre offers standing room tickets for 5 GBP. If a play is sold out lots of theatres offer last minute tickets in the morning, but you might have to queue. (Cate Blanchett's play came with queueing from 3am until they opened at 9am.) You can message me about theatre recommendations during your stay if you like.

Covent Garden

While I don't care for the actual shops in the market building, I like watching the buskers in front of St. Paul's. If you need a break from all the hustle and bustle, take a side entrance to the church yard on Henrietta or King Street. The actor's church offers free lunch concerts and benches to sit out in the sun. There's a church cat - wouldn't recommend trying to pet him though.

Walk along the small courts and yards north-west of Covent Garden. Find the house were the Phytons lived together on Neals Yard and the Bambi Mary Poppins stencil.

Museums

Yes! Most of them are free and there's plenty of them. I love the Wallace Collection, I'd recommend the National Gallery, I already mentioned Tate Modern, and of course there's the V&A (soooooooo good), the National History Museum, the Wellcome Collection, the British Museum, the Museum of Home, the...

I often sit on the stairs of Hintze Hall at the National History Museum next to Hope their whale skeleton. I love the ceramics at the V&A. I have three favourite paintings at the National Gallery. Often you can take part in a free tour, and if you don't want to spend a whole day at a museum: Don't. Just pop in, have a look around, and go your merry way.

Thames walk towards Rotherhite:

Start at the Tower Bridge and just follow the walking way along the river. At one point you'll have to take a detour around a huge industrial estate, but you'll be able to return to the river quickly. Time your walk to have either lunch or dinner at The Mayflower in Rotherhite - one of the oldest existing river pubs with excellent pies & mash and a superb sticky toffee pudding. Take the underground train to the other side of the river or a bus back to London Bridge.

Richmond

Go to Richmond (by train from Waterloo Station) and walk along the little streets south of the Green. The Sandman and Ted Lasso have been filmed here (among others), so if you watched either one of these shows, you'll recognise the area. You can go down to the river and then either walk or take an ebike to Kew Bridge.

Trafalgar Square/Chinatown/Soho

Go, sit on the edge of one of the Trafalgar Square fountains. Watch people from all over the world, hear the buskers in front of the National Gallery. If you need food, Chinatown isn't far away (Cafe TPT or Misato are my go to places) or you could go for cake & tea in the crypt of St Martin-in-the-Fields. Walk along the streets in Chinatown, cross over to Soho, walk along there. If you need coffee, go into the Algerian Coffee Shop on Old Compton Street, they are doing a great espresso. London's only queer women's club She Soho is also on Old Compton Street.

Markets

Are they touristy? Sure, but I love them. Portobello Road on Saturdays and Brick Lane on Sundays are my favourites. I don't care about Columbia Road too much, because it's always way too busy.

Street Art around Brick Lane

Go and have a look around Brick Lane if you like street art. Walk around the area and explore, there's always something new to see. Look out for broccoli and eggs.

Book a London Walk

The original London Walk company has already been around when I first came to the city around 1990. They offer a wide range of walks - I can recommend their street art tours in Whitechapel or their ghosts walk. If you do an evening tour, the walk will likely end up in a pub, so you can have a drink with the other attendees.

Walk along the canals

You can walk either from Paddington or King's Cross to Camden - you'll see a lot of houseboats, the London Zoo, and end up in Camden, where you'll have plenty of food stalls available. I feel like Camden Market as such is a bit overrated these days.

Barbican & Barbican Conservatory:

If you like Brutalism and history, this is the place to be. You can see remains of the London Wall, sit by the artificial ponds, and visit he botanical gardens. It looks like something straight out of a end-of-the-world film with huge plants covering concrete. You might have to book a ticket, even though it's free. It only opens on Friday & Sunday as far as I remember.

And if you need a break from London:

Take a day trip to Brighton

I just love the city. If you like to be by the sea - the train from London Bridge only takes about 90 minutes. Walk along the Northern Lain area for lots of lovely shops, great food, and drinks. Go visit the pier and eat some donuts. Watch the sea. Visit the Royal Pavillion.

Don't Pick Up Boyfriends From the Trash Bin: (recommended) A man dies and a system gets attached to him, before he goes into multiple worlds and saves the people he transmigrates into

(A brilliant webnovel that I absolutely adore because it manages to circumvent every bad stereotype of QT novels but the translations are slow. Ghost Games is specifically inspired by its 5th arc) [UNCOMPLETED]

Supernatural Movie Actor App: (recommended) A man finds an app where he has to "act" in horror movies to earn points for his wish to make his lover a body

(An amazing webnovel that is filled with fun, action, and suspense; the main characters are brilliant and I loved how each arc keeps you excited) [COMPLETED]

Card Room: A policeman and a forensic scientist accidentally fall into a game where they have to go through different trials in order to survive

(A fun and mysterious novel, tho it's very long (around 500 chapters) and I stopped halfway through) [COMPLETED]

Edit: I finished it! I recommend it only if you have the time to read it through, and although the ending suffered bc the author got lazy, it was actually a fun and interesting read! The cards/trials were all super interesting, so I had fun! (Recommended)

Kaleidoscope of Death: (recommended) A man accidentally enters the 12 doors, which is a supernatural event that can either save him or kill him

(Everyone and their mother is in the reviews section with EXACTLY identical reviews: "this novel is great but the plot twist is trash. Five stars" 💀. I agree with them. A fantastic and HELLA scary novel but as long as you avoid the extras (which holds the plot twist), the novel is amazing. After reading it, I was afraid to open cabinets for a while and no longer feared death 😔 it is so bloody) [COMPLETED]

High Energy QR Code: (recommended) A man tries to investigate his brother's death, and in doing so, falls into a game world

(I really enjoyed this fic bc it's similar to Supernatural Movie Actor App where the MC is naturally intelligent without seeming obnoxious, and the stories and arcs are all well thought out, creative, and fun. There's also somewhat found family, which I love. It was so much better than what I was expecting, but then again, the author has always made amazing stories (They’ve literally created the most highly rated novel on NovelUpdates and that novel inspired me as a person fr fr no cap. Highly recommend!!! It will change your life!!)) [UNCOMPLETED]

A Crowd of Evil Spirits Line Up to Confess to Me: A man who can see ghosts gets pulled into a ghost game, but there's always a ghost in it that seems to fall in love with him

(A fun novel with a protagonist that is kind but doesn't feel like Virgin Mary, but the translations are slow and I stopped reading bc of it) [UNCOMPLETED]

Non-Human Seeing Re-Employment: An ancient ghost finally gets his own human body before he gets sucked into a horror game

(A nonsensical and crackish webnovel with overpowered MC and ML; read it for fun, not for plot) [COMPLETED]

After the Little Crybaby Enters the Nightmare Cycle: A ghost gains a new body and then gets himself transported into a horror game to earn wishes

(Actually, I dropped this story really early on bc it was like… a less interesting and more boring version of Supernatural Movie Actor App 😶 like it had nearly all the same ideas but it was executed quite plainly and when I caught myself complaining about it, I realized I didn’t have to suffer through it so I dropped it. It’s not bad, just ordinary imo. One of its arcs DID inspire me tho so… you can make your own opinions about it) [COMPLETED]

End of Year Zuka Tag 2023 Part 2

3. Never Say Goodbye: Which taidansha did you find the hardest for you to say goodbye to this year?

Timewise, the first one has to be Kazumi Shou's taidan... she was one of hanagumi's best singers, both mature and cool on stage, and she brought something truly special by her presence alone. Her taidan role in Singing Loverbirds was perfect though and her funny and touching dynamic with Hoshikaze Madoka was imo the highlight of the show!

The second one was Arisa Hitomi's, I was wishing she'd stay forever 😭 Unparalleled voice, amazing acting, and a genuinely sweet personality, it's just impossible not to love Kuracchi. She was one of those non top musumes the company allowed to shine and she truly felt like a star. To hear her sing that solo as Marie Antoinette in 1789 made me a tear up for real...

4. Material Girl: Favourite piece of merch (most treasured Takarazuka thing you have bought yourself this year, OR if you didn’t buy anything this year, a piece of merch that is on your wish list)

I have very little merch dfjhv but this year was the first year I bought stills and bromides from QR! It took more than 2 months to arrive lmao but I'm still so happy to have all these high quality pics of my faves. And for christmas I treated myself to Madoka's photobook, it should hopefully be on its way now 👀

5. Mon Paris: Did you discover a new fav show that was not from this year? (This can be any fav show that you saw for the first time this year that was released before 2022)

I must have discovered a bunch of older shows but the one that stood out to me the most was Never Say Goodbye (2006). The Spanish Civil War and fascism at large are difficult topics, especially for a company like Takarazuka that doesn't have the best track record when it comes to handling these issues with care when so much revolves around making siennes look cool, no matter what they play. But NSG felt spot on for me. Without making any sienne play any fascist, it managed to portray the importance of resistance against fascism while still showing the difficulties of organising armed resistance without (too much) infighting. Also Wildhorn has never not made a banger, all the songs slap.

6. Wings of the Heart: Favourite fandom memory (this could be a fun stream experience, going to the theatre with friends, all collectively freaking out about something together, anything really!)

Most probably the first (and only so far) international-friendly livestream we've had on BeyondLive for James Bond. The excitment was palpable lol and personally I was so happy to have any "official" subs at all, even if of so-so quality. They gave us some top tier memes and memories, plus the general emotions of seing Makaze Suzuho and Jun Hana taidan (my first top combi taidan!), I was happy to be a fan that day and to have this community.

7. The Final Dance (Saigo no Dansu): What was your favourite duedan of the year?

Frozen Holiday, hands down. Ayakaze Sakina and Yumeshiro Aya, and other pairs, dancing while Howl's Moving Castle's theme plays in the background, it feels magical. And with the news of saki taidanning on the next GT, it's now even more important to me.

REVENGE

Notes: This is part six of chapter one (the conclusion of the "episode"). When this goes up on Ao3 tomorrow, I'll include the character matches I'm ready to share, for my fellow Revenge fans.

If you haven't already done so, please stop and read parts one , two, three, four, and five. This is a #Batwoman AU based on the ABC tv series #Revenge. The character parallels were interesting, and I decided to reimagine a world where Ryan Wilder has a more intentional pursuit of vengeance.

CHAPTER ONE - DECEPTION (Part Six)

Summary: Robyn Wilde, formerly Ryan Wilder, continues to make connections that set the stage for her revenge.

Wildmoore Week Prompt: Forced Proximity

Sophie: “Ah, nice to see you again, Robyn.”

Ryan had to accept that she couldn’t avoid that happening forever.

Ryan: “Same to you, Sophie.”

Kate: “How do you guys know each other?”

Sophie: “Selly introduced us. She ran off again, and Robyn found her.”

Kate: “Did she try to claw your eyes out?”

Sophie: “Nope, I found them snuggling.”

Ryan gives her a small smile. Sophie is going to be a little more trouble than she anticipated. She is trying to make friends with Kate, and already Sophie is pitting them against each other. She needs to redirect.

Ryan: “And you are?”

Mary: “I’m Mary Hamilton. Catherine is my mom, which makes me Kate and Beth’s younger, step sister.”

Ryan: “Well, I love the rainbow plaid! Plaid is my favorite pattern - I’m such a stereotypical lesbian.”

Mary does a slight curtsy with a big grin, while both Kate and Sophie seem to take note of Ryan's last comment.

Mary: "Evan, where have you been hiding her? It would have been nice to know you had another friend who'd appreciate my style!"

Evan: "We actually just met last week, and I already love her."

Ryan leans in to nudge shoulders with Evan.

Ryan: "The feeling is mutual! We're going to be besties!"

Kate: "Cute. I take it you're new in town, then?"

Ryan: "Yup! Moved into The Loft above The Hold Up the day we met. This is off the record until tomorrow, but I'm going to be announced as Jeturian's interim CEO."

Kate: "So you're the new tenant. Reagan left so fast, I wasn't really sure what happened. But, congrats on everything."

Ryan catches Sophie rolling her eyes and fights back a laugh. She's gathering the tension between Sophie and Kate means they have history and this might be a forced proximity situation. And, if Kate and Reagan were at all involved, Sophie's reaction to Reagan liking her might also make more sense.

Ryan: “Thanks! So, what’s the agenda for this thing? Is there some sort of schedule?”

Evan: “I’ve got you, babe! Scan this!”

Evan holds up a postcard with a QR code that was laying on the table, and she scans it with her phone. The auction is about to start in a few minutes.

Ryan: “Ooh, fun! It’s time to start bidding. I’m going after this Muay Thai lesson at the community center.”

Kate: “You like martial arts?”

Ryan: “I do. I’m proficient in about a half a dozen forms. It’d be cool to add another to the list.”

Kate: “We should spar sometime! It’s not actually that easy to find another woman to practice with.”

Ryan: “I’d love that!”

Mary: “Whoa.”

Sophie: “What’s up, Mary?”

Mary: “I’m pretty sure I just saw my mom go off on our dad. It must be pretty bad for her to risk making a scene.”

It is bad. Luke had used a burner to text Catherine, Candy, and Jacob stills from the video footage they’d captured of Candy and Jacob at The Royal Hotel. Suddenly, Catherine is walking very purposefully towards the stage, and she grabs the microphone as soon as she is in the center of it.

Catherine: “Happy Memorial Day, everyone! Thank you for spending this day of remembrance with us. As is appropriate on days where we acknowledge the loved ones who have served and are no longer here, we’re taking this opportunity to give back to our community. And so, we appreciate you for digging deep into your pockets to help the organizations that are taking care of those most in need in Gotham. My very best friend, Candy, is so invested in this idea that she wanted to start off the action for it this year. She has already committed fifty thousand dollars towards the Alpena Youth Corrections Facility in upstate Gotham. She knows how important it is to help kids who have been impacted by things like drugs find their way to recovery, and this particular cause is so very close to her heart. Please give her an applause for showing us what we should be challenging ourselves to do here tonight.”

You can hear shattering just before the applause starts, as Candice drops her champagne and the glass hits the floor. Servers run over to clean up the sharp fragments that had spread everywhere, and Candy smiles at everyone, nervous by both her public error and the sudden attention.

When the applause ends, Catherine says a few more words and sends everyone off to find the tables with descriptions of what is being auctioned off. As the crowd begins to move, so does Candy, towards the exit.

One down, so many more to go.

Taking this from one of my recent posts, but this is also connected to my ptsd post. Basically this is just a rundown of Abe's alcohol addiction in a timeline format and why this became more prominent in some seasons as opposed to others.

TW: alcohol mention, alcoholism.

In terms of Abe's alcohol addiction: I feel like Abe was a heavy drinker in college. He was the type of guy to go out drinking all night and still manage to turn in an essay on time with a perfect score. His schooling wasn't ever difficult for him, mostly because Abe already had a good idea on law from watching his father throughout his childhood. Abe also used his college as a way to escape Setauket and I imagine Richard paid for all of his tuition and book fees, so he's basically living his nepotism baby lifestyle in college. Other than young people usually delving into alcohol, I think Abe did drink heavily to ignore the pull he still had to Anna at the time and numb the guilt after breaking off their engagement.

So, that being said, Abe has a history of heavy drinking. He comes back to Setauket, eloped to Mary, and starts building his home. He also starts farming at this time, so with his busy schedule, he pulls away from alcohol. He drinks it occasionally, but not to excess as he used to. Basically putting his college partying days behind him.

S1 drama stirs up. Abe starts to really disagree with his father. He's dealing with Simcoe, being seen as a suspect in a murder case, he owes a ton of debt to people in town, he's partly responsible for Selah's arrest. This and his involvement in the spy ring just adds up on stress, but it's more manageable. I think his affair with Anna served as a place for alcohol at this time. He does fall a bit into a drinking habit at times during the gravestone plotline because Abe hasn't resolved his guilt over his brother's death.

End of s1 and s2: Abe gets deep in the drink. Baker's death weighs heavily on his mind. The whole bandit thing. His home he built is burned down. He's trying to recruit Townsend and finding ways to get into the city. He's still dealing with a poor harvest and financial issues. This and his prison time really starts to get Abe to go deep into his alcohol addiction. (Also his s.ex addiction). He starts drinking again heavily and this only continues once he deals with the stress of Hewlett finding out his spying and reporting to Andre. Anna and him are apart, so his alcohol addiction tenfold. He feels her drifting away. This leads into the whole Annlett storyline. He feels like he has less control over his situation and needs an outlet to avoid any anxious thoughts. (I go more into how alcohol affects him in the pstd post).

S3: Abe still deals with a bit of an alcohol addiction, but this the time when Abe starts to cut back on it. Rogers is breathing down his neck. Simcoe is threatening to burn down his hometown. Abe basically gets banned from Whitehall for a while and with Rogers and Simcoe nearby, Abe needs to stay sober because he's the one mostly taking care of Sprout now and Rogers is always one second away from killing him. This leads him towards his sober lifestyle. I think the Thanksgiving episode also made Abe more alert. I think, too, he potentially witnessed Rogers' addiction to alcohol and it wised him up. He doesn't want to go down a similar path to Rogers.

S4: Abe doesn't feel a reliance on alcohol. Mary and Abe are getting along better, and with their alliance, he feels way more in control. The QR are gone, Rogers is gone. Hewlett isn't around. Yeah, it sucks that Anna isn't nearby, but Abe manages. I think Abe might dive into alcohol sometimes, but it's very minimal. Abe is probably at his best mental health moment here until Richard dies. Thankfully, Abe doesn't go back into his previous vices and he feels like he has a good footing. He has a home, he needs to look out for his son, he feels comfortable in his place in the spy ring, and basically spite is fueling him right now lmao. So from this point onwards with Washington's payment, Abe stays away from alcohol. I don't think Abe's s.ex addiction is as strong here, he has a more healthy relationship with both alcohol and s.ex in general once he feels like he has more control over his situation.

I just notice QR likes belt and she always wears a different top and bottom (style and color) Her fashion is different from Kate, Princess Mary and Queen Letizia. These ladies have similar fasion style. Maybe, because of her physique? A straight dress doesn’t suit here because she is so skinny. What do you think?

I don’t know if it’s because of her frame that she wears belt a lot but I think it has more to do with her style preference. Rania is very sartorially adventurous (even more than the royal ladies you mention) and a self-admitted fashion enthusiast. That explains her different tops and bottoms as you mention with many belts. Apart of her clothes, she also apparently put a lot of thoughts into her accessories (belts, jewellery, bags etc), so that’s why. I should probably learn from her using more belts as I share a similar frame but then I’m lazy and can’t be bothered to even buy belts ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ooooh, that's interesting, Mari!

Since most of the story He Xuen masquerades to be Ming Yi, I think for his Ming Yi persona, I'm feeling a strong Blake vibe while his true identity is revealed as a mixture of Vega for his power and sadism towards the Shi brothers.

(Also, lemme just simp for this man for a bit. I love his gold and black aesthetics! The fact that he has a crazy huge appetite and his arc is perfectly tragic!)
