One thing about the reunion that I’m so normal about is like. Omega’s close to full-on sobbing when she runs for Hunter. She’d been so brave the entire time she was held at mount tantiss, and that bravery is how she and Crosshair managed to escape, but also she’s still just a kid. A kid who spent months there frightened, isolated, homesick, and forced to bottle it all up because even having a doll to sleep with at night was something she could be punished for.
