Good God, we're actually going to try running Thirsty Thursday on a Thursday this week. The novelty!
For my new followers, here’s how this usually works:
Once in a while I, your humble local Bartender, will post a list or concept for prompts. You can leave a prompt in my askbox and I’ll try to write a short fic for it! (Also: anonymous asks are enabled on this blog!)
This week, I’m featuring a words list, which I will reblog here shortly. When sending a prompt, be sure to include a character or ship, the prompt number and the prompt itself in case I don’t get to it this week! (Example: “Could you do #20, ‘butterflies’ for Eileen and Nix?”)
I’d love some prompts for any of my current fandoms or current OCs! This might be: House of the Dragon, Band of Brothers, The Pacific, Vikings:Valhalla, or anything you’ve seen me talk about in the last month or so.
OCs in recent rotation have been: Edith, Elin, Naera, Chryse, Daphne, and the whole Girl Gang.
I am an 18+ blogger, I identify as female and am attracted to men, and if you ask me nicely and I’m feeling it, I will write smut that reflects this preference because it brings me joy. I’m not a hardcore or kinky person and my writing also reflects this. I do my best to label and cut this content appropriately.

Quick update
Heyyy!! I’ve been pretty inactive recently and I literally haven’t posted a single thing in I don’t know how long and I wanted to come on and let you all know that I am actually still alive and I haven’t disappeared or something.
Some stuff has been going on recently and I’d like to talk about it!
Ive had major writers block the past while and I’ve been really unmotivated to do anything on this platform. If you guys would be willing to send in some requests that would be really helpful because I have some free time now and I want to get back into writing.
Another things that really didn’t help is the fact that my cat died last Friday. She’s been like my best friend for the last eight years and it’s been really tough trying to accept the thought of never seeing her again.
It’s getting easier but I’m never going to stop missing her. I’m hoping that if I get back into doing the things I love that it might take my mind off of her for a while.
I hope you can take the time to send a prompt or a pairing for a fic. If not then just know my asks are always open if you wanna pop in and say hello or something.

Felt like trying our hand at something different this Friday, so welcome to our first Flash Fic Friday!
The idea behind a flash fic is that we'll provide a couple prompts, and then you take 10-20 minutes to write or draw whatever the prompt inspires. Then, at the end of that time, we encourage you to share either your whole work, or a snippet of it (ie. a line you particularly like).
Now we know we have lots of time zones that follow our blog, and that you might not be able to do the flash fic when the prompt pops up . We encourage you to take the prompt, set aside some time whenever works for you and create, and then share your work later - that's perfectly fine!
So, to kick off the event, we would like to encourage anyone who has a prompt, or a favourite prompt list to drop some suggestions in the comments and we will present prompts at 2PM EST, 3PM EST, 4PM EST (and potentially some past 10PM EST depending on this admin's kids getting to bed on time).
