"Seriously," Touya leans on the door frame of Natsuo's room, self-satisfied smile on his face "You're crushing on...Shouto? Our Shou-chan?"

You cover your face with despair at your predicament. You can't believe you're actually telling either of them. It wasn't like you were planning too. In what universe would you even think to do that deliberately?

But Natsuo is frighteningly good at grilling you about things when you refuse to tell him. Ever since he found out about your crush, he made it his lifes mission to harass you about it. You were careful, damn it. You didn't even actually tell him, he used to his annoying deductive reasoning to figure it out. You tell Natsuo everything.

He knows about every weird medical problem you've ever had, every partner you've ever dated, and every weird fit of crying you've ever cried in your life. He's your confidant. Your best friend. So he knows there's only two sorts of crushes you couldn't tell him about.

If it was on an ex or if it was on one of his siblings. His first guess was Touya - but he figure you wouldn't be this embarrassed about that since you often wolf whistle at him when you're in the house.

Then he guessed Fuyumi, because you're still embarrassed by how pretty she is. When you said it wasn't her - he was briefly stumped before settling in a shocked silence.

"...Are you crushing on Shouto? Seriously?"

Your embarrassment told him he was right, and now you're sitting in his room and hoping the world will swallow you because you're crushing on your best friends little brother of all things.

In your defense, it wasn't always like this. You didn't see much of the youngest Todoroki at all growing up. He was in his dorms for most of highschool and Natsuo spent most of his early adulthood ducking his parents house entirely. You only met him properly when he turned twenty. They're only living together now for Touya.

You kind of wish they weren't - since it'd save you the trouble of being embarrassed twice. You've been seeing Shouto a lot recently, since you've been coming over to hang out with Natsuo.

Shouto is not the 16 year old boy you always made. He's 22 and he's got tall and lean muscle. He's polite but sweet and strangely - much funnier than you could've ever predicted. He's genuinely very kind but most of all - he's been very direct on telling you that he likes you.

You don't think anyones ever pursued you like this in your life. Both of your last relationships ended amicably but neither of them had been this...direct with you ever. Shouto is very direct, actually. Direct in telling you which honorifics to use, and telling you how nice you look, and saying he misses you often. You've been dismissive. Even you're not so desperate as to openly pursue your friends little brother.

But again, he's not so little anymore. He's taller than you now, and he's got lean muscle. He always smells great. He is incredibly pretty in the fairy prince kind of way. This is by far the worst crush you've ever had to endure in your entire life. You've tried to forget.

But just last week he walked you home after patrols, speaking casually and kindly and good god - what is with the broad-shoulders? When did that even happen?

You want to die. You want to disappear into a black hole. You want to scream and cry. Why you're crushing on a boy 4 years younger than you? Why is Todoroki Shouto of all people make your heart flutter?

"Seriously... I mean I knew he was flirting with you pretty brazenly but," Natsuo looks like he's holding back a grimace. If you weren't holding back tears, you'd hit him "...Shouto? Like...really?"

"Didn't know our little angel was such a casanova. Crazy world we live in."

"Neither of you are helping." You say exasperated. Natsuo leans back on his palms, sighing a little. "Do you think I wanted this?"

"It's not the end of the world," Natsuo offers thoughtfully. You give him a meaningful glare from the corner of his bed but he doesn't budge "I mean..I guess if I got to pick who he dated, you're not at the very bottom of the list."

You kick his side. "That's so backhanded."

"He doesn't want to admit you two are a good match," Touya says thoughtfully, unwrapping candy from his pocket. A habit he picked up trying to quit smoking "He'll be lonely if you date Shouto."

"Shut up, Touya."

You ignore both of them for a minute trying to get your bearings.

"You think we're a good match...?"

Touya laughs hard "Is that all you heard? Poor Natsu, already being abandoned."

Natsuo shoots Touya a glare.

"Touyaaaa," You drag, reaching over to tug on the bottom of his shirt "Elaborate."

"And feed your delusions?" He says, clicking his teeth "Fine. Only because it's funny."

Natsuo hmphs, and you look at him apologetically. You two will have to talk about it later. Touya rolls the candy in his mouth, pulling his shirt up to scratch at his abdomen.

"Dunno. You're like... probably one of the only people who's not gonna treat him weird cause he's a good little hero. That brat... it's probably best for him to date someone normal and civilian-esque. Not like being a hero is the most important thing in the world to him."

You flush a little. This is really, really bad. Natsuo gives you a disapproving look. You look back at him a little softer.

"I won't date him if he's off limits." You offer. Touya coos at you both.

"Well aren't you darling."

Natsuo groans, laying flat on the floor.

"Ugh. It's not like I can just say no. It's enough of a miracle that Shouto is showing interest in anyone. And if he misses out on true love, even if it's," He gives you a sideways glance and shakes his head "Even if it's with you then I can't actually stop it."

"I'll reject him if you tell me too."

"What kind of older brother do you take me for?"

"Yeah, what kind of older brother do you take him for?" Touya mocks, laughing to himself "Aren't you just a saint, Natsu?"

"Touya, I'm gonna throw you out of my room."

"Ooh, someone's mad."

Before Natsuo as a chance to come back, the sound of the door opening from the living room downstairs floats up. Shouto calls out. You feel your heart almost fall out of your ass. Touya, delighted, is the first to reply.

"Shou-chan, we're upstairs."

You make a gesture of violence towards Touya who replies by pretending to jerk off then giving you the middle finger. You don't have time to collect yourself before Shouto is upstairs. He's back from patrols and he's a little sweaty. You feel heat creep-up up your neck.

"Touya-nii, do you still—oh," Shouto smiles soft as he realizes "It's you. I didn't realize you were here."

"I came in after class."

"Alone? You should've asked me to walk home with you."

You flush. Touyas' snickering is not helping you at all.

"Isn't that out of your way?"

"It's fine. I do stuff like that a lot," You're almost disappointed until he tacks on "But it's you so it's alright."

You look up at him wide-eyed. He gives you the ghost of a smile. God you're screwed. Before you can reply, Natsuo clears his throat.

"Go wash up. You stink." He chides. Shouto immediately goes back to being a little brother, nodding his head.

"Okay. Then," He looks at you directly. You're so screwed "I'll be right back."

You wait until Shouto is finally down the hall, listening for the bathroom door to thump shut before falling back into Natsuo's bed. Touya breaks out into a fit of laughter as Natsuo sulks in the corner.

But all of it feels like white noise when you compare it to the sound of your heartbeat, thudding hard in your chest.

- Rex Is Not Your Lawyer (REX ALEXANDER)

Unaired pilot. Only 40 minutes. Show wasn't picked up, but it is very good. Rex is a successful and skilled lawyer who is forced to stop practising when he starts having panic attacks every time he speaks in court. He decides instead to coach people who want to represent themselves. Lots of DT in very tight suits. American accent. Not MAJOR angst but he does has daddy issues and a panic disorder, so.

A kid discovers that his neighbour is a vampire, and he seeks out a famous vampire slayer to help him. Peter Vincent (DT) does not live up to his name, and turns out to actually be sort of pathetic. - The Decoy Bride (JAMES ARBER)

Celebrity Lara Tyler tries to get married to her author fiancé James Arber, but the paparazzi interrupts the wedding. Desperate to keep it private, she takes James to the island that he based his book on. Somehow, the paparazzi still find them, and they hire a decoy bride to pretend to be Lara. Romance, kissing, light hearted, minimal angst. David in a funny outfit. Fake dating trope?

- Nativity 2: Danger in the Manger (Donald and Roderick Peterson)

Sequel to Nativity, but you don't need to watch the first one. Primary school teacher Donald Peterson (DT) is forced to take his class to Wales to participate in A Song For Christmas, a festive singing competition. Here he is put against his twin brother, who is a successful composer and with whom he has a strained relationship. Light angst - lots of daddy issues, but generally sweet.

- The Escape Artist (WILL BURTON)

A defence lawyer, Will Burton, gets a murderer off free, and very quickly grows to regret it, when his client comes after his family next. Lots of murder. Like three murders I think. Hot lawyer DT.

- What We Did On Our Holiday (DOUG MCLEOD)

A family go to Scotland for their grandfather's 70th birthday. Doug (DT) and his wife (Rosamund Pike) are getting a divorce, but are hiding it from the rest of the family. Movie is mostly focused on the kids and their grandad, but David has a few moments, and he's generally present throughout. Funny, slightly shocking at times, family film. No major angst. Character death.

- Richard II (RICHARD II)

Shakespeare's Richard II. David plays the titular character, the extravagant, heartless and cold King of England, Richard II. We see his fall from grace as he is stripped of everything he owns and knows. Quite angsty. Long hair, androgynous David. Queer kiss scene (although they are cousins, soo...)

- Broadchurch (ALEC HARDY)

An eleven-year-old boy is murdered in a small town, sending shock-waves through the community. He is sick and hiding it. Injury, dizziness, panic attacks, that sort of thing - as well as a heart attack. He has a lot of trauma and daddy issues. Season three touches on topics of rape (warning).

Biopic about RD Liang, a Scottish psychiatrist. Sex, misogyny, mental health topics, some self-harm (done by another character)

Phileas Fogg, a quiet and reserved man, decides to travel around the world in 80 days, after he receives an anonymous postcard calling him a coward. Cute found family, drama, angst (ex-lover stuff, internalised cowardice, illness, near death experience), some violence. There's a scene where Phileas gets flogged (whipped, essentially) quite violently, and it's somewhat graphic. Touches on themes of racism. Phileas is 100% neurodivergent.

Thoughts on Byler and pet names that I wanted to make a video on but ended up writing because they’re quite specific and frankly a little embarrassing to say aloud:

Baby: Mike uses this one when he’s in a very flirty mood. Will uses this teasingly and very sparingly.

Babe: Mike uses this all the time. Will uses it sometimes around the house.

Sweetie/Sweetheart: No. These are Joyce’s terms of endearment only.

Darling: Both use and don’t realize how often they do. They’ll readily deny using this one, but they love flirting with it.

(My) Dear: Both use this often. Mike uses it when he’s writing and/or being poetic (AKA cheesy and sappy) and Will uses it when he’s happy.

(My) Love: Both use this all the time. It makes them sound a little prosaic and cute at the same time, and they absolutely love it.

Handsome: Both use when flirting, so pretty often.

Hot Stuff: Only Will uses this one because he somehow makes it not sound overly-cheesy. Mike can pretty much only use this one ironically with finger guns and everything (Will finds it cute, though, so no losing with this one).

Cutie: Only Mike uses this one, usually when Will’s wearing a cute outfit or his hair is getting a little too long. When Will occasionally does use this one, Mike is left blushing out of his mind.

Lover Boy: Both use this one, usually when they very obviously want to get the other person to blush.

Angel: Too cheesy for them both. Maybe only when Mike is down bad.

Sunshine: Again, too cheesy, but Mike uses this sometimes first thing in the morning.

Casanova: Will uses this teasingly when Mike is being cute or romantic.

Prince Charming: Both use very rarely, maybe when the other is being, well, very charming.

Cuddle Bug: Mike used this one first and then Will picked up on it. Both sometimes use when they’re cuddling.

Sugar: No.

Pumpkin: No.

Honey: No. Maybe after a few years into their relationship? Maybe.

Bonus: Mike calls Will “O Great And Wise” and Will calls Mike “My Knight/My Knight In Shining Armor” sometimes, too ;)

Pretty Boy - credit to @c4ntbr36th: Both use, mostly Mike, though, in my head. Sometimes they use this teasingly when the other is pointedly a mess (crazy bedhead, coming home super late and frazzled, etc.) or exceedingly well put-together and when they’re all-around smitten.

Stray Kids x Petnames

Headcanons: Pet-names Boyfriend!Stray Kids would have for you (+ pet names you have for them)

Pairings: Ot8 x Reader *No pronouns are used, but some pet-names incline more towards a "feminine" reader.

Chris:

Chris's go-to pet-names when he is around the others is 'Babe' or 'Honey', sometimes he will let a 'Sweetheart' slip but it's usually followed by Felix or Hyunjin making kissy noises.

When you are alone, he likes more "delicate" pet-names.

Such as 'Baby' (he'd totally use ''Baby-Girl as well), 'Sweetheart', 'Princess', or 'Darling'.

When he is in a more quirky mood he will throw out anything he thinks is cute in that moment

'Honey-bunny', 'Pumpkin', 'Nugget', 'Sugar'

You most often refer to him as Babe or Baby.

But he goes soft when you call him 'Sweetheart' or 'Love'

If you speak another language besides English and/or Korean, and you refer to him as a pet-name in that language??? Heart Eyes Motherfucker.

Lee Know

Lee Know doesn't really call you many pet-names in font of anyone, he will usually just use a nickname that some of the others use as well.

But eventually he will start calling you 'Jagiya' ('Baby/Honey') in front of the others.

And once he did start, that's when the others really knew he was serious about you. (thought they didn't really doubt it)

It's a fairly common headcanons that he would call his s/o 'Kitten', though I do think personally this would only be when he is in a more teasing mood.

Otherwise, I think his most often besides Honey or Babe/Baby, would be 'Love'.

He thinks it is romantic, and he knows you love it.

You call him 'Babe' most often a he is not the most fond of being called anything "cute"

But, you know he can't deny how red his ears get when you refer to him as 'love of my life' on occasion.

You abuse this power though sometimes, when you really need his help

Changbin

Changbin is not afraid of calling you any kind of pet-name in front of the others, because if they try to call him out on it he will just be like "Yeah?! So what? You're just jealous!"

That being said, he often calls you 'Baby' 'Sweetie' 'Bunny' or 'Beautiful/Handsome'

On occasion he'll throw out things like 'Hey Cutie!', 'Cutie-Pie' 'Sweetie-Pie', 'Honey'

Be careful though, if he's laying the pet-names on thick, it means he wants something.

You call him 'Babe' 'Baby' or 'Handsome' most often.

When you need his attention or want something you tend to go for "Sweetheart' or calling him 'Bunny' like he does to you.

When you see him wearing either his work out clothes or a suit you might call him 'Stud' or 'Stud Muffin' and it always makes him giggle (he loves it)

Hyunjin

Hyunjin is definitely a romantic pet-name guy.

He does not often use 'Babe' or 'Baby' unless you're around the others, or in public.

Most often he goes with 'Prince/Princess', 'Darling', 'Love' and 'Muse' or things like 'Petal' or 'Beautiful' if he is feeling more soft than normal.

You use a lot of different pet-names on him.

The most common are 'Gorgeous' 'Babe' 'Love' or 'Darling', similar to the ones he uses for you.

But you tend to throw out random pet-names when he asks you questions, and he loves it

"Hey Love?" "Yes Dear?"

"Y/n!" "Yes My Beloved?"

Or things to make him laugh like 'Main Squeeze' 'Honey-Bun' or 'Hot Stuff'

Han

Han's go to is the classic Baby, My Baby, Babe, or My Honey.

He likes to put 'My' in front of them, not because he is possessive, but because he can't believe that you are his s/o!

When Han is feeling particularly soft (like when you are cuddling) he will refer to you as 'Beautiful', 'Gorgeous', or 'Love'

He is also a fan of the funnier pet-names like 'Shortie' (even if you are taller), 'Hottie', 'Baby doll', 'Cutie Pie', 'Hot Stuff' etc.

You use these a lot for him as well, usually when he is flirting and you are being a bit sarcastic 'Stud', 'Stud Muffin', 'Casanova', 'Romeo', 'Prince Charming'

He is amazed at how many you have in your arsenal, but he loves all of them (because of course he would)

More regularly you use 'Babe', 'Sweetheart' and 'Love'

And when you really want his attention you use names like 'Hey Handsome', or 'My Love'

Felix

Felix is 'Sunshine', you are 'Sunflower'; or sometimes just 'Flower'.

He also loves using more romantic pet names like 'Love', 'My Love', and 'Darling',

In front of others, he often just uses 'Babe' or 'Love'

He also like to refer to you as food related pet names 'Peaches' (because your cute and sweet), 'Sugar' (sweet as well), 'Pumpkin' (no real reason he just thinks it's cute).

Less like pet names and more of what he just refers to you as: 'My Beloved', 'Love of My Life', 'Soulmate'

You often refer to him as 'Babe' 'Baby', or 'Love' as well in day to day life (more often than not you call him by Lix though)

But you might also call him 'Sweetheart', 'Baby', 'Light', 'Gorgeous' or 'Baby Boy' when you want to make him blush.

You like to him with the "What's cookin' good lookin'?" anytime you find him in the kitchen, and he giggles every time.

Seungmin

Seungmin does not go for Pet names very often, usually just referring to you with your name or shortened nicknames.

But when he uses pet names it is often things like 'Dummy' (affectionate), or 'Short-cake'

On the somewhat uncommon occasion that he call you something sweet, it will be 'Babe' or 'Honey'

They come out very casually and without much thought.

The first time you heard him use one, you smiled widely and he was just like 'What?🧍‍♂️"

You often refer to him as 'Babe', 'Honey', or Sweetheart'

And though he never says anything about it, he really does like when you refer to him as pet names.

Sometimes when you don't, he's afraid you he made you angry.

"Seungmin" "...are you mad at me?" "No why?" "Why'd you call me Seungmin" "It's your name?" "No, I'm Babe"

Jeongin

Jeongin was a bit slow to using pet names, but the one that first came most naturally was 'Babe', and then it turned into 'Baby'

When your relationship went on, he started to call you more pet name in private, like 'Beautiful', 'Love', 'Angel' (which he stole after you called him that)

Sometimes he uses things like 'Prince(ess)', 'Cupcake', or 'Darling'

When his more menacing or teasing side comes out he will call you some pretty random things like 'Tiny', 'Dumpling', or 'Peanut'

You refer to Jeongin mainly as 'Babe', 'Baby', or 'Angel'

But sometimes you use things like 'Sweet Cheeks', 'Foxy', 'Cutie'

Jeongin is another member who would die if you called him something in a foreign language.

He gets all smiley and giggly, he loves it.

Slytherin Boys W/ Ballerina!Reader as Pas De Deux 🩰

SO I'm back at it again with more ballet stuff! Last time I did headcanons for Mattheo if he was dating a ballerina. This time however, we're going down the route of what Pas De Deux (pair dance) the boys would do with a ballerina reader if they danced together.

Lorenzo Berkshire

White Swan Pas De Deux (Swan Lake)

Choosing one for our boy Enzo was EXTREMELY difficult because I secretly headcanon him being a danseur already so picking just one dance for him was hard. I went with the famous white swan pas de deux from Swan Lake where he is the role of Prince Siegfried and the reader is Odette. It's a beautiful, and heartbreaking pas de deux where Odette and Siegfried get to know each other better with it ending in Odette putting her trust in Siegfried to make a vow of true love in order to free her from Von Rothbart's spell. (In this video the pas de deux is performed by famous dancers Svetlana Zakharova and Roberto Bolle. The part at 5:09 where he embraces her makes we weeeeeeep)

Giselle act 2 Pas De Deux (Giselle)

For Theo's I decided to play a little into the headcanon of him being a casanova and went the route of Giselle. Theo's character would be Albrect (sometimes known as Count Albrect, Duke Albrect, or in other versions Prince Albrect) the reader's character is Giselle, who died of a broken heart when she found out Albrect was bethrothed to another woman. Another beautiful and heartbreaking piece as Giselle is trying to protect Albrect until dawn from the wrath of the willis (spirits of young maidens that died before marriage) who wish to make him dance to his death. The queen of the willis Myrtha uses Giselle to lure Albrect away from the safety of her tombstone by making her dance a seductive pas de deux that lures him in like a siren singing a song. (In this video the pas de deux is danced once again by famous dancers Svetlana and Roberto. They're one of my favorite dance partner pairings!)

Sugarplum and Cavalier (The Nutcracker)

My first fictional love, I had to give Draco one of my favorite pas de deux which is from The Nutcracker between the sugarplum fairy and her cavalier. I don't think I need to explain which roles these two are, it's a beautiful piece with beautiful music performed near the end of the story. (I've inserted my FAVORITE rendition of this dance performed by famous dancers Anna Tsygankova and Matthew Golding)

Black Swan Pas De Deux (Swan Lake)

When it comes to my headcanons I said that Mattheo liked Don Quixote and Giselle, but this man also in my headcanon has an absolute WEAKNESS for Swan Lake. So when he gets to be the part of Siegfried and the reader is playing Odile? He's absolutely giddy because this pas de deux is alluring and seductive as Odile is playing poor Siegfried like a fiddle making him believe she's actually Odette. (For this video the pas de deux is danced by one of my favorite dancers Gillian Murphy with Angel Corella)

I could've easily went full delulu and gave Tommy a pas de deux, but come onnnnn. I'm giving this man the role he was MADE FOR. The opening scene from ABT's Swan Lake. He's the role of the sorcerer Von Rothbart while the reader is Odette. So enchanted by the beautiful princess he runs into in the woods he tries to charm her only to find her displeased and so what does he do? Takes her for his own and changes her into the form of a swan to keep her close to him. (For this video it's from ABT's Swan Lake they recorded back in the early 2000's with Gillian Murphy as Odette, Marcelo Gomes as the handsome human Von Rothbart and Isaac Stappas as Von Rothbart's other form)

Nikiya and Solor act 1 (La Bayadere)

I'm not too familiar with Blaise, so forgive me everyone but I didn't want to leave him out. I chose my favorite pas de deux from La Bayadere where Blaise would be Solor a warrior and the reader is Nikiya a beautiful temple dancer. The two are secret lovers that are reunited and dance together before swearing their love under the sacred flame. (For this one I went with yet again Svetlana and Roberto because they ATEEEEEE this pas de deux up with their chemistry alone!)
