Why do all of the Fazbear Frights stories with girl protagonists so fucking horrific
Like being turned into candy then eaten alive, being slowly turned into a robot by a robot you thought you could trust, being forced to pick a way you die, the entirety of Pizza kit, it’s fucked up

The Puppet Carver Review
Hey y'all! I’m slowly going to be reviewing all of the Fazbear Frights stories I don’t already have a separate review for, and this one is for The Puppet Carver! Overall, The Puppet Carver is a poor book with two stories that drag it down.
For my Friendly Face review, go here! For my previous Gumdrop Angel review, go here! If you want to read these in order, go here!
For the rest of the review, keep reading!
The Puppet Carver - I actually did sorta enjoy this. I do agree that the story feels as if it were drastically changed at the last second, and the Faz-Goo parts definitely do ruin some enjoyment of the story, however I did find some parts of the story funny, and I liked the little bits of Sylvester’s story. All the characters overall are fun to read and this is one of those rare times in which a jerk character felt more comical to me. It has its flaws and is somewhat forgettable but I think it was still a good story.
Jump for Tickets - This was bad. This story does build up on the Ticket Pulverizer well, as Colton obsesses over it constantly. Despite this, I think the characters really drag this story down. The only two characters I somewhat enjoyed in were Aidan, Colton’s little cousin, and Coils the Birthday Clown, and even then, Aidan isn’t that amazing of a character, he’s just a sweet child. Colton is a jerk, and while he uses his father’s death as an excuse, I still don’t think his behavior is justified. Alec comes to the realization that he’s messed things up and is sorry for it. Colton never is. As for the other characters, Mike was alright, although it is another case of a repeated name. I think Mr. Harrison and Colton’s mother should have been slightly more involved, as they’re the only two adults in the story that seem to care about Colton’s declining mental state. Still better than Hide-and-Seek tho.
Pizza Kit - This was bad. This story has a tendency to focus on pointless details that don’t matter to the rest of the story, like Payton’s interest in birds like ducks and Chica, which is also revealed to us right when we get to the pizza factory and meet Ms. Bryant. I didn’t talk about it in my Into the Pit review, but characters like Abby, Millie, and Abigail are characters who have been treated similarly by old friends like I have, and thus I have a hatred for characters like Payton. Same goes for Marley. As for the other characters, it was nice to actually see Mrs. Crutchfield and Payton’s mother react to Marely’s disappearance rather than have the story skip over it like always. Overall, this story had potential, even with the ending. In fact, I actually like the ending in terms of what the story was trying to tell. The story needed building up. It sacrificed the time needed to build up to the ending with a nightmare where Payton dies with over the top gore. It resets the stuff being built up, and that’s when the ending fails. So, not really a fan of this one.
