HI! Do you have any perlia head canons? Like how they go together what there like as a couple ?

Wrote that a while back for those two, but this post is among my first hcs ask so maybe I'll try myself with more :

I see them together after a fight, about something, and like coming to apologize to each other, breaking down before the other

Or, complete opposite, in the middle of a big fun battle at camp.

(Basically I love the idea of them on opposite sides before joining forces literally or figuratively because that's what their whole dynamic is about)

I think that even if she doesn't become a huntress Thalia would still like to roam around and travel, while Percy is more a home guy. But that could work in a good way with both of them bringing something to the other, would it be seeing new things or a safe space to go back to

If you think Percy could hold some pride in dating Zeus' daughter, then imagine Sally? She would be so indirectly petty and proud

Annabeth and Grover have to hold them back from sm but still they both balance each other's temper pretty well

They prank each other all the time but know where to stop

At first they're both pretty insecure about the relationship and have a hard time talking it out, friends have to get involved but they slowly learn to communicate better

The other is the only one with who they stand to spend a day doing nothing, just being together and chill

Headcannon:

After they defeated Gaea, Percy and Annabeth spent the week in Montauk with Paul and Sally. Percy hadn’t seen his mom in almost a year, so he nearly broke down when she gave him a hug. Sally was hysterical. Sally didn’t even bother setting up two beds for the kids, she knew they would just sneak into one room. The first night there, Annabeth woke up screaming. Sally was immediately at their bedside, asking what was wrong and trying to calm her down. She was buried in Percy’s chest crying. Percy just looked defeated as he shook his head. They wouldn’t dare to tell her where they’d really been that summer. They didn’t want to worry her any more than they already had. The next night Percy knocked on her door because he too had woken up from the terrors within his mind. He didn’t want to wake up Annabeth, so instead he and his mom sat together in the couch as she gently stroked his hair. Sally spent the week babying them and bringing them tea throughout their sleepless nights. Sometimes she could hear Percy comforting Annabeth with gentle words. Sally was proud of who he had become, and she loved Annabeth as her own. By the end of the week, both of them sleep soundly. Sometimes she would watch the two of them from the doorway just to make sure they were really there with her. It was hard being a demigod mom.

yes yes annabeth has abandonment issues and she loves percy because he's the only one who stayed, but have you considered: she loves him because he has no ambition

(i'm tempted to just leave it at that, but i'm guessing most people will not get what i mean, and i like doing this stuff so let's go)

think about it. for her dad, it was the dream of having a normal family and a nice normal job where he could work on his projects without distractions. it was the desire to make helen happy because she could give him that life even if it hurt his daughter.

for thalia, it was the dream of not being the child of the prophecy. it was finding a family with the hunters, no strings attached. it was maybe even the desire of keeping annabeth and luke alive by sacrificing herself, at least a little bit.

for luke, it was the dream of being a hero. it was the dream of saving the demigods. it was the utter belief that he knew what was best and could achieve that goal, damn the consequences. it wasn't even pride. it was just good intentions marred by ambition and bad influences.

for grover, it was the dream finding pan.

the one thing all of these dreams have in common: they took annabeth's family away from her.

that's not to say percy didn't have desires or dreams or goals or anything, but the difference is that everything he wanted had her in it, and none of it was particularly ambitious.

he didn't want to be a hero. he just did what he had to do til his job was done. even his ambitions now have annabeth written all over them: going to college with her in new rome, trying to live as normal a life as possible, growing old with her, etc. there's nothing he wants that doesn't involve her, and you know what? they deserve that so much, that open-hearted devotion.

which introduces some fun irony: where percy's fatal flaw is loyalty, annabeth's fatal flaw is hubris, and one of the first real things she ever said about herself is that she wants to build something permanent. that is hardcore ambition right there, but it ties right back into her abandonment issues. she wants to build something that won't leave and disappoint her.

in that regard, percy's lack of ambition fulfills her excess ambition because his loyalty gave her something permanent. they love each other so much that they fill in the gaps of each other's fatal flaws, and their ambitions fit like puzzle pieces. they never have to doubt each other because there is nothing to doubt.

she loves him because he has no ambition.

Cw for period cramps I guess? Sorry that it's not exactly what you might have expected, again 😅

Percy stabbed a stick violently into the shining red apple, sighing in relief when it finally stayed secure in the fruit. It was littered with shallow holes and dents, little bruises and tears, left from his attempts at getting the stick stuck in the apple.

He was determined to do it right - he needed to do it right -, but he wasn't prepared for how difficult it was to make a perfect caramel apple. He pulled the bowl of melted caramel in front of him, rolling the apple in it until it was thickly coated with the sweet sauce.

"One done, two more to go," he sighed as he put it down onto the baking paper covered tray, and started the next one. He wanted them to be perfect, Thalia deserved them.

"Percy," came the uncharacteristically whiny voice from their bedroom. "What are you doing?"

"It's a surprise!" He shouted back. Sticking his tongue out in concentration, he coated the last apple with caramel. It still needed to harden, but, running his finger through the caramel then sucking it off of his finger, he was at least sure it tasted good.

"Percy?" Thalia asked again. Biting into his lip, he pulled off the first coated apple. It was still a bit sticky, but at least the caramel didn't slide down, so he counted that as a win.

With soft steps, he walked towards the bedroom, where his girlfriend was groaning, and shifting restlessly, a ferocious frown on her face as if she could just stop her cramps bothering her by her will. Percy suspected if she could, she would pull out her dagger and threaten her body. Percy walked closer, wrapping an arm around her while trying to hide what was in his other hand.

"What's that?" Thalia asked suspiciously, nose twitching at the familiar smell, melting against his side at the same time.

He moved his hand to rest on Thalia's stomach, and she let out a content sigh. "Don't move, that feels so good. Your hand is so warm. Ugh, I fucking hate period cramps."

Percy chuckled softly. Putting down the caramel apple on the drawer, he took the glass of water with and the pain medicine he already prepared before he started the whole apple project, and gave it to her.

"Thanks," she grunted, taking it redundantly; she hated the drowsy side affect.

"I hope you still like caramel apple," he beamed after he grabbed the empty glass from her hands.

She looked at him suspiciously, "Ye~es?"

"Good," he nodded, offering her the stick that held the candied fruit she loved so much. Her eyes lit up, and it was the only thing Percy needed. He loved being able to take care of his girlfriend.

He kissed her softly, before holding the apple to Thalia's mouth. Her cheeks pinked with a little blush as she opened her mouth, letting him feed her.

"I love you," he sighed softly as she chomped on the fruit.

"I love you too, but shush now, just keep feeding me. And keep me warm. And maybe you could try that blood bending ability of yours to help me not feel like my inside is going to fall out in any minute?"
