I’ve seen a bunch of ppl saying Mr Farouk should be played by Connor Jessup and while I would love him to be a part of s2 he absolutely shouldn’t play a Muslim man. Like , this show is so far so good at diversity I would hate for a white man to be playing a gay Muslim man , a type of person who’s hardly ever appeared on our screens before. In the same way that ppl on tick-tock are fancasting Ravi Singh as a white man , and more white passing actors are playing darker skinned fictional characters , Connor Jessup should not play Mr Farouk and I’ll be so upset if he does
