Look I love my sisters, right? But they come up with the craziest things. For instance, I got the following message from them at ten o'clock at night:

"Sis, we have a problem:

Peter Pan is Link.

Think about it--"

Peter Pan has a Shadow self. Link has a Shadow self (sure Link and his Shadow try and kill each other most of the time, but not ALL the time, which is how Peter and his Shadow get along).

He's got a pet bird or a pet fairy, depending on who you ask (In the play, "Peter and the Starcatcher", which is the origin story of Peter Pan, Tinkerbell starts as a bird and then magically gets turned into a fairy--and this is from the original story. Link has a Loftwing, which gets subbed out for a fairy later down the line.)

They both wear green. Self-explanatory.

...Okay, this is a weird thing. Wendy's Mother Molly, fell in love with Peter Pan. And when she did, but realized she couldn't stay with him forever, she wished that Peter would fall in love with all of her daughters, granddaughters, and great-granddaughters. For all time. And Link and Zelda got that whole "eternally bonded for all time" (Side conversation: "You know, Molly is Ganon!" *laughter*)

They are both CHILDREN (okay, Peter is eternally a child but Link is usually a child when he's called to adventure)

They are both orphans.

They both use swords.

"So we have ruined Link but made Peter Pan better because Peter is annoying." (their words, not mine)

(Random Fun Fact for Peter Pan: Captain Hook gave Peter his first name and magical mermaids gave him the Pan part of his name.)

One of my favorite flavors of bsd fics is (secretly?) established sskk with tragic, pining losers skk. Like sskk will be like damn, so young. Remember when we were like that?

And someone (probably chuuya) will be like stfu i know every single embarrassing thing you've ever done. You dumbasses were still severing limbs and stabbing each other at the point in your relationship where dazai and i were already at the teasing banter stage.

Dazai very conveniently appears to remind everyone that his coat is out of commission due to an angry chibi with a knife and a poorly timed joke at lunch<3

zelda and ganondorf are both insane in that their roles keep destroying them as people and consuming them into an endless narrative but neither of them have a conception of even wanting to change it. (link is the sanest member of the trio in that he occasionally thinks 'man being the hero sucks. i wish i could herd goats.') where they diverge though is that if you posed a hypothetical to them where some other person took care of all their current duties, looked after people for them, basically just a perfect person to fill that role so they have the option of leaving it, zelda would be guiltily tempted and ganondorf's response would be 'who is this hypothetical person. i'll kill them'

ohhhhhh my god my lead actress's big brown eyes...... girl you're killing me......

#and my male lead is quite literally blonde with blue eyes it's ridiculous #he's ok tho. actually i did find out today he played clarient in marching band in hs #so that's a red flag but hey i just need him to act and he's been pretty great at it. red flags are allowed <3 #he also got us our other guy we needed for some small scenes. so he's been invaluable despite the serial killer eyes #in truth he actually looks lke a panda to me. there's nothing wrong with his serial killer blue eyes i'm being mean #sorry for being anti men who play clarient. in my defense i've known those guys and i have never met one that didn't annoy me a little #anyway. she has beautiful big brown eyes and he is there. and our other guy is beautifully tragic and doomed <3 #that was my criteria for casting him. i said 'he needs to look beautiful and tragic' and then we found him #he did great today. i don't know if he likes me but he showed up and he wore all the outfits i told him to wear so #actually i think i act weird around good looking men. i think it's because once a hot guy is around i get one notch lower on the hierarchy #and i'm usually up there. frankly. so i don't like being lowered...#i mean you guys will see what he looks like eventually i'm gonna post the link to the film when it's done and i'm graduated #but he's Hot. i was scared of him for a moment. he was wearing sunglasses. and then i made him walk up a bigass hill #and then i made him be in vaguely homoerotic pictures. his words. he didn't seem to mind there were jokes had. jests even #and tomorrow at 11am im gonna make him stand on a bed and put stars on a wall while yelling at him to smile and look pretty #and well. that's awesome. heirarchy is restored once we all remember that i'm the guy in charge......#anyway. i had an eventful day. 8am to now. i gotta go to sleep girls.#unfortunately that's not happening soon due to i've committed myself to reviewing today's footage. ok

my dad works for a significant household tech company and won’t say what exactly he’s working on but he WILL say that he and a few of his colleagues are trying to figure out how to make Doom run on it

#his older colleagues specifically - other late 50s/early 60s tech guys #who remember linking up their work PCs in the 90s during breaks to play doom together
