Kaly's basic breakdown of [Save Slot A] background lore!
(Under the cut because it's LONG)
Kingdoms
There are no Kings or Queens. Most people don't even know what those words mean. The highest ruling class of the monarchy system is Princess. Princes rule secondary to their sisters/spouses. The ones to take the thrones next are referred to as Ladies and Lords.
There are many races of people on the planet besides humans. Think of the range from classic fantasy people like elves to people who have disco balls for heads. It can be very silly!
Each kingdom has a different species that hails from them, some with more than one native type, such as Insektia, which has their current ruler being a anthropomorphic bee, but there are moth, ant, and other insect people within the kingdom.
Each kingdom has a parallel aesthetic with real world countries. The Bramble Flats, for instance, is the in-universe equivalent of Mexico/Southwest America/Brazil... And Macro City (human kingdom) has a TON of cityscape space and is very similar to places like New York and Chicago :)
Heroes and Villains
Most kingdoms teach Common in schools for communicating globally, but some kingdoms also have a native language.
The main kingdoms referenced are Macro City, Bramble Flats, Sukoichi, Winterdown, and Insektia!
There's a check and balance system amongst the League of Justice, the Syndicate of Malice, and the Counsel of Virtue. Each faction is lead by a powerful individual who bears the title of their respective branch, ie. Crowley's boss goes by Virtue or Lady Virtue while her real first name is unknown.
* This system was put into place to make sure that civilian casualties in great conflicts between forces of good and evil are kept at a minimum. So a villain in the Syndicate isn't allowed to target civilians for the hell of it, lest they lose their benefits from the organized crime network and are thrown to the wolves to defend their titles by themselves.
** Only certain villains are recognized by the Syndicate of Malice, and they are typically pretty high caliber evil-doers, ones who seek to and have the ability to take over entire kingdoms.
All heroes are assigned an arch nemesis by the government of their respective kingdoms (lol there's an application process)
There are parallel tiers of power level to match villains and heroes in any given kingdom and it goes as follows: Villain = Hero
Street = Cadet
City = Guardian
County = Elite Guard
Kingdom Antagonist = Kingdom Defender
Global Threat = Legendary Hero
* So for real world equivalent, Crowley is, like, a general for his kingdom. The guy you call when shit's going down in a bad way. That being said, Mack's arrival for "business" is usually the shit going down in a bad way LMAO
Other Info
Crowley's family is pretty well known as a lineage of heroes. He, himself, is the 6th generation of bird-themed heroes to take up arms for Macro City.
Mack's rise to villainy seemed to come out of nowhere. Total nobody turned someone you do NOT want to contend with (this mother fucker is SCARY. Brother eats people 😨)
The princess of Macro City is named Cherri Mayapple and she seems to be all pink, smiles, and sunshine, but rules with an iron fist that turns a blind eye to some questionable activities as long as it brings her kingdom prosperity.
Magic is real and very much exists in the world! Humans cannot typically generate magic for casting, but they can use artifacts and magic items no problem, though obtaining them is somewhat rare.
* Mutants also exist and have powers! So it's not to say humans can't have special abilities!
Macro City has very advanced technology and sciences. Things like teleportation and hologram technology are well documented and known about by common folk.
There 100% are monsters and creatures like mimics in the world (but @splinter-sister has the reigns for how those little transforming freaks work)!
The meta perception of the world is like looking into a video game/comic book. There are very game-like things that can occur such as power-ups and platforming obstacles! Though there are in-world explanations for a lot of those things and how they work too :)
I hope this helps explain some of the weirdness and world I've ripped these characters from, reshaped, and plunked them back into under my flavoring LMAO

Once you realize that Stranger Things is first and foremost just as many 80s tropes and stereotypes as the Duffers could possibly stack on top of each other without any concern for things like continuity in plot or characterization, everything starts making sense.
#why was the American government the bad guy in the first two seasons but suddenly it was the evil russians in season 3?#because both criticism of our own government and the red scare were vital to much of 80s media#so the duffers threw both of them into their show without any concern for if it made any sense in their story#sometimes they make their own characters act ooc just so they can say stereotypical 80s things or hit certain tropes#Kali literally only existed to give El her punk phase because that was big in the 80s#that’s why she completely disappeared from the story after that#who cares if it makes no sense that she never ever becomes relevant again?#there’s so many examples of things that don’t make sense in st if they were actually trying to make a good and coherent story#but they make sense when you realize the duffers are just going down a checklist of neat 80s things to include

Note — guys the urge to write 4 him is so strong yk I must!! I honestly wrote this off of the line as it mainly inspired me to write!! Divider credits to @/cafekitsune P.S ooc!aventurie I haven’t gone too in-depth of his character so warning!!
It’s always been the same, he’s always messing you with small tricks he pulls to catch you off guard. Pulling off a small dime from your ear, placing a hand around your shoulder or waist. They never fail to surprise you everytime even if aventurine does this everyday, they always give you a sudden flush of blush to your face whenever he walks up behind you and places an arm around your waist. Aventurine knows he can always catch you off guard from a surprise trick he does to you. He uses it against you to have some fun, seeing the shocked face you make always makes him want to smirk more. He can’t help but love that face you make everyday but never says anything as you might just see his movements as his personality than him gesturing his liking of you. Ohh how you love and hate him at the not really, same time.
Every time he would get a reaction out of you being shocked from his surprise moves, his cocky smirk shows more, laughing from making you this sate you hated him further that. But you also like every time he encounters you anywhere in penacony, he would always talk to you no matter if he an important meeting very soon, he will pretend that meeting wasn’t a thing when he starts chatting with you. The way he always likes to start by knowing how your day was not even caring if you didn’t do anything “exciting, fun” thing today. He likes hearing your voice, it brings him such smoothness to him like a deck of cards, it may be perhaps the reason he likes to bring you to casinos as your voice is like gift of luck. It is like a package in one! His adorablecrushing on friend and a lovely voice of luck hanging out with him!! He always says to you, “You know, [Name], we make an amazing pair. With your luck and my skills in the casino we will be unstoppable.” With a smirk of a smile and places a kiss on your knuckles.
Meanwhile you, on the other hand, cannot identify if what is he saying is true and doing is true or just him trying to remain his poker face by doing something to get into it. It’s conflicting with your mind and heart trying to think and also believe what he is saying is very much true. A small blush only appears visible on your cheeks that aventurine can see, his mischievous smile appears that makes you realize your face betrayed you showing your emotion. You only then clear your throat and focus your attention on the match/round aventurine is busying in. Soon after leaving and returning to your home, aventurine decided to break the small moment of silence after you stepped foot in your home. “[Name], I hope you do know, I do enjoy having your company with me everywhere, have you thought about what I have told you of us being an unstoppable, amazing pair together?” You turned around to face him with seeing a genuine smile on his face that he is allowing you to see. Hesitated you decided to speak, “Aventurine are you messing with me again? I thought you had your fun at the casino?” You didn’t think he actually mean that, he would have told you genuinely- “I’m not messing with you [Name]. I do enjoy having you with me, you are an embodiment of what needs in luck, a person to have around.” Starting to move closer to you, becoming mere inches away from each other’s faces, he continued. “You always have this thing of soothing me whenever you talk, it hypnotizes me to listen to you more and forget whatever I needed to do.” He then leans in to place a kiss on your lips, one hand under your chin so he can kiss you, and the other behind his back with a small card ready to be handed to you. Aventurine breaks the kiss and looks at you seeing how you feel, he then shows his other hand that was behind his back to your hand and winks at you leaving you completely speechless from that. Ohh, he is so paying you back for suddenly confessing to you and just playing like it was nothing when you catch up to him running at him.

she won't say much but you can tell that's how she expresses her gratitude

I made it to episode 7 of the new season of stranger things (season 4) and...... I am going to take a break now, I've had enough of the Steve/Nancy ship being forced down my throat and the fact that Robin is rooting for it is so OOC for her I can't even-
LIKE WHY DUFFER BROS?!?! Who the FUCK asked for Steve/Nancy to be brought back again?! NOBODY!! Literally if you want Nancy to break up with Jonathan (which I don't want cuz they're literally soul mates in my opinion) and have her get with someone, ROBIN FUCKING BUCKLEY IS RIGHT THERE!! Literally I will take Nancy/Eddie over Steve/Nancy (I would prefer Nancy/Jonathan or Nancy/Robin)!! And if you guys are so desperate to have Steve be with someone and not alone (so he can grow and find happiness without a partner, which he needs in my opinion he doesn't need a new ((or old)) love interest every season) than make a new character who fits in the group perfectly or have him end up with Eddie, Kali, or even bring Billy back for real this time and not as a hallucination! And why are the Byers being sidelined?! And what's up with Steve and Dustin dynamic this season? It's like a little off, I don't know how to describe it. Plus why is Robin OOC? Or is that just me? Like I still love her but the whole plot point of her trying to push Steve and Nancy together is like so OOC of her to me and it's distracting, other than that she killed it and I love her (and Nancy and Steve obviously).
But thank god for Eddie, Argyle and Jonathan, Will, Max and Lucas, Erica, Eleven and Vecna/Henry Creel, and even Suzie and her older sister, their literally carrying this season for me right now. 😭💯

The People’s Choice | Chapter 2 Motive
After three days, you expect another motive to come. That was how Kali had initially described this ritual working, three days of offtime followed by as many days of horrors as it took to browbeat you into killing. But the fourth day arrives, and no word from Amber. You can’t really relax during the four additional subsequent days, but you’re probably grateful.
But, all things must run their course. And in the morning of what would be the eighth day of peace, you finally hear the summons you’ve been dreading reverberate through the tree. “Please make your way to the lounge. It is time for an announcement.”
You trudge to the lounge. Once again, you are met by Amber and Kali. The pixie wastes no time hovering forward to address you. “Welcome to your second incentive!” she greets through a vicious grin. “Since you all were so dissatisfied with the chance to be King, how about some democratic governance instead?”
She throws her arms wide. “From now on, until a sacrifice is performed, we are going to be holding a vote every twelve hours! You’ll choose one of three Incarnates to receive a stated punishment. Write your votes in the back of your book before the deadline, same as before. After twelve hours, we will call you back here to announce the results, administer the punishment, and announce the next vote!”
Ugh. So now the motive is a popularity contest?
Kali folds her arms. “I know you can’t wait to find out what the first punishment is going to be! Whoever you vote for in this round will have their ankles bound together with manacles for the rest of the incentive. For this punishment, you will be choosing between Bian Le, Meili Løken, or Perry Harbor to receive it!” She glances at the mentioned individuals in turn. “Better get ready to make your case, you three. Those manacles will definitely make you easier to kill.”
She claps her hands together. “But! That’s not all!” Oh, great, what now. “We have another mission to send you on. This time, you will be visiting the Calac Witchwoods in the west to solve a long-standing mystery! Many Incarnates go missing there, and if you’ve got any sympathy at all for your fellow heroes, you’ll want to figure out why just as much as the capital does! And take care not to go missing yourself.” There won’t be any danger of that, though, with the sap bodies…. Right?
Cracking her knuckles, Kali rises higher. “Before you ask, no, we will not be foolish enough to send whoever gets manacled into danger with the manacles still on! Same goes for any other lingering, restrictive punishments. Those will stay with your real body. We actually want results here.” The pixie shakes her head. “See you in twelve hours! Get those votes in.”
Body discovery will occur in the evening of the fourth day IC and 6 PM EST on September 26 OOC! In between then and now, there will be eight rounds of IC voting on punishment. They will occur every two days OOC, with the first starting immediately! Your deadline for voting on this round is 5 PM EST on September 12. The last round will not actually be resolved, but can still be voted on.

While we aren’t doing the extended reapp period like before, everything else is more or less the same. You’ll have until the end of the day on 11/8 (server time) to send us an ask (or a message via our Google Forms submission linked on the contact page). Your character’s app will remain on your mun page and on the masterlist, and their account will remain in the server during this time. However, if this is your second consecutive failed activity check, the muse will be removed from the server and the masterlist, and they will need to be fully re-reserved and reapped. The re-reserve cannot happen any earlier than 11/12.
To reapp (after only one activity check failure), we just need you to reach out to us with a message containing the following:

Character name and series (it’s okay to include multiple in the same ask or submission to google)
Date
OOC contact

RULES:
• This blog is a sideblog to my main, immobiliter, and you MUST be following my main blog in order to interact! I am also predominantly plotting only over here as this is a private, lowkey blog that I intend for the most part to use to interact with friends, but never be afraid to message me and ask to plot!
• I work and have a busy life outside of tumblr which takes priority, so I am slow and I cannot write with everyone. This is also not generally my main writing focus so I will go through phases of inactivity. I do have main writing partners for this blog who are listed below.
• I do not care to see call out posts or any other kind of ooc drama. I will unfollow and potentially block if I see it on my dash: I am here to write, not to engage in tumblr politics.
• Out of the three muses featured here, any shipping is most likely to occur with Robin only, but she is a LESBIAN. She will not be shipped with male muses under any circumstances, and I tend to be picky in general when it comes to shipping. Also, within her own canon verse, Robin is still closeted, so therefore I would ask that your muse does not assume her sexuality if we are interacting within her own canon, unless discussed otherwise.
• I am not a fan of shipping in general when it comes to Dustin and Erica and it is unlikely to happen on this blog.
• This is not a Billy hate blog and you will see me interacting with him here. I’m not interested in discussion on the topic.
• NSFW may appear from time to time, as well as certain dark topics given the nature of the show. I do not have any triggers myself, but I will certainly try to tag anything particularly sensitive that may appear on this blog. Smut will of course be excluded to Robin only but I will only write it with those I know well out of character.

GUIDELINES

1. One account per head, main account is highly preferred. We accept newly made account with 150> tweets and minimum 30 followers.
2. Username and display name must related into the your muse. Using RT or LiKE upfoll and JFB thingy are strictly prohibited.
3. All star & No twin.
4. Following must be under 600.
5. Maximum 3 OA including us and 2 SQ.
6. Do update your muse, retweet from an official account is fine but fan account are prohibited.
7. Use your brackets if you tweet something contains OOC things. But please remember, don't out of your character too much to avoid any inconvenience among members.
8. NSFW is only allowed for Legal Muse and from 12 PM to 4 AM (GMT+7)
9. Attendance on every event is required, if you canʼt join the event please inform us with a specific reason.
10. You're allowed to change account or character if needed after 2 weeks verified, but please inform us first and the maximum amount of change is twice.
11. Temporary Swap is also allowed for maximum 3 days in one weeks after informing the details to us.
12. If in some case your account is suspended, locked or broken because of technical issue, please contact us maximum 3 x 24 hour after the incident.
