"girl I'm outside hurry up," ashlesha said as she tapped her nails on her grey leathered steering wheel as she signaled for nari to scoot over to the other seat with her bag. “I’m coming outside just let me grab my bag and I’ll be right out,” you answer back while fixing your lip liner and ending the call. you walk out of the house and head straight for ashlesha’s car, “girl we thought you were gonna take 18 years and 5 business days to get ready..” nari says as she fixes her blush in her small mirror. “oh please I didn’t even take that long..now let’s go, I’m ready to down some tequila and henny.” you all laugh as ashlesha takes the car out park and puts it back in drive. 30 minutes later, as soon as it hits 8, you all finally make it to the party. “I’m telling y’all..if ellie is here I’m leaving..” you say but get pushed infront of the door by your two friends, “GIRL GOOOO SHE’S NOT HERE!!” nari says, putting her hand on her hip, and groaning.
“ok ok!” you push open the door and walk in as ashlesha and nari follow behind you. you all rush to the kitchen for that well known red solo cup and only a few cranberry and hennessy shots later, you all are on the couch laughing your asses off at the littlest things and then you see her. the one person you didn’t wanna see was right across the room, in the corner, looking down into her cup, and her eyes suddenly dart towards yours as if she knew you were looking at her. she smiles slightly and looks back into her cup but god if you only knew..while she looked unbothered, she was sweating and panicking. “oh my god she’s here? MY PRAYERS!! MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED!” she thought to herself and had to stop herself from screaming at the top of her goddamn lungs.
you furrowed your brows and huffed looking at your friends, “you guys said she wasn’t gonna be here” you groaned and playfully hit them both and they giggled. “it’s not funny cmon I wanna go home” you frowned and laid your head on nari’s shoulder. “you should go talk to her” nari says as she pats your head, “no way I don’t wanna talk to her” you sigh and look to your left and see dina and jesse making out in a corner like some freakishly horny crazy highschool teens. “ugh..get a room..” you roll your eyes and look to your right and see a very familiar face, “oh my god? jasmine?” you gasp and she looks at you, “y/n? oh my gosh, hey gorgeous!” you stand up and she comes over and hugs you. ellie sees this and immediately her face drops from “omg my favorite sexy ex that I miss so much is here!!” to “who the actual fuck is that touching her. what the hell.” she clenches her jaw as she watches you two from the corner of the room, her face hot and red.
the more and more you and jasmine laughed and giggled the more ellie felt herself losing her cool. she knew she was your ex now and she knew she couldn’t just march over there but the alcohol was kicking in and she was feeling bold. she walked over to you and jasmine and put her hand on your shoulder, “can I borrow her for a sec? yes? ok thanks.” ellie says as she pulls you away from jasmine who looks extremely confused. “what the hell ellie? what do you want?” you turn to her and say while she just stares at you, pulling her hand away from you and biting the inside of her cheek. “y/n are you doing this on purpose?” she says which makes you tilt your head and show visible confusion to her question. “what the fuck are you talking about?” you’re frustrated, folding your arms and leaning against the wall while she just stares at you trying to get you to fess up about whatever she thinks you’re doing.
all of a sudden, ellie’s face turns red out of embarrassment realizing you actually weren’t trying to make her jealous and that she probably needed to sober up from the alcohol. she rubbed her neck and opened her mouth to speak when she didn’t even get a chance because you immediately read her like a book once you saw her face turn red. “you’re jealous aren’t you?” you squint and almost laugh, “we aren’t together anymore els..move on please.” you say while pushing yourself off the wall to walk away.“whatever..there’s no one better than me anyway.” she now crosses her arms as yours fall to your sides. “oh fuck you. you sound like a man.” you roll your eyes and walk off while ellie flips you off and you can hear her mutter “fuck you too.” and you start giggling to yourself as you walk back over to jasmine.
as it got later on into the night you, nari, and ashlesha all fall asleep on the couch and around 3 in the morning you feel someone shaking you awake. “y/n? Y/NNNN!!! GIRL GET UP LET’S GO.” nari lightly slaps your face trying to wake you up and you start to open your eyes. “ughhhh my head hurts...I have a fucking headache what the hell.” you rub your head and look up at nari, “how many shots did I take?” you ask as she shrugs and looks at ashlesha for the answer but she just shrugs too. “god..can we go back to my place?? you guys can just stay until it’s finally morning.” you sit up from the couch and stretch. “yeah..can we order wingstop when they open? I’m fucking starving and I could fuck up some mango habanero wings right now…a cow even.” nari says while patting her stomach while you pick up your things and follow behind your friends who left the house. “do you think dunkin donuts is open? I need something sweet like now. I feel like a pregnant woman bossing around her wife and child.” nari says as you all fucking lose it while ashlesha starts driving back to your house, still laughing her ass off.
meanwhile with ellie though…
Tumblr media
“oh cmon ellie..it couldn’t have been that bad...I hope…” dina says as she pats ellie’s back as she ugly cries into her hands about how much she fucked up that small interaction she had with you a few hours ago at the party. “well I mean..it could’ve gone worse.” jesse says as he chuckles and runs his fingers through his hair, “wow thanks jess, that totally makes me feel better!!” ellie says sarcastically which makes jesse huff and roll his eyes. “all she said was fuck you ellie..she could’ve like slapped you for even pulling her away or cussed you out even more for everyone at the party to hear.” he says while falling back on ellie’s bed and staring up at the ceiling. “jesse, you’re gonna send the girl into cardiac arrest please stop.” she looks at him and hits him on his arm, “well call me kevin gates because you know exactly what happens next after the cardiac arrest.” he laughs while dina and ellie turn to look at him with the most “shut the fuck up” expressions ever. “bad timing?..sorry.” he mutters and looks away.
“obviously?? and stop with that kevin gates video, it’s making me feel extremely ill.” dina says as she shakes her head and sighs, “ellie you really need to talk to y/n…SOBER and IN THE RIGHT MIND.” as soon as dina said that, ellie immediately stopped her ugly crying and side-eyed her so hard. “no shit dina..no shit..and stop yelling in my EAR because I’m right NEXT TO YOU.” ellie says as she wipes her face with her sleeve and goes to the kitchen for a tissue to blow her nose. dina looks at jesse and shakes her head, “man..she’s hooked on this girl..I feel bad because y/n may not come around and she’s on her bad bad BADDD.” dina scratched her head while jesse nodded in agreement.
ellie came back into the room and sat back down on the bed, “so what should I do? it’s only been like a week since our breakup. I can’t just say I wanna get back together now..” ellie groans and grabs her pillow that jesse was laying on, “hey! I was laying on that..” jesse sits up and frowns, “well that’s too damn bad.” ellie scoffs and hides her face in the pillow. “I say give it a few more weeks or a month maybe??” jesse says in response to what she said earlier which she freaks out about. “A MONTH?? ARE YOU CRAZY? she’ll already have moved on by then..I’ll just give it a few more weeks maybe, hopefully, she’ll unblock me on everything and talk to me...if not I’ll have to text her off one of my lurking accounts.” ellie sighs and rubs her temples, “I’m sorry did you just say ONE OF?? AS IN THERE’S MORE THAN ONE??” dina looks at her with pure concern as ellie turns to her and makes a face that says “uhm hello???? obviously???….”
“why do you need more than one?? one is enough to lurk at her..bro what is your problem?” dina blinks a few times before turning away from her and shaking her head in disbelief and disappointment. “in case she finds out it’s me and blocks me? duhhh like I need to have multiple accounts. it’s a necessity when it comes to lurking..you wouldn’t know anyway.” ellie rolls her eyes and nudges dina. “ok so like what if she presses all new accounts made will be blocked??” jesse blurts out which makes ellie’s neck snap towards him and she throws the pillow at him. “take that back NOW. do not manifest that negative energy into my life jesse.” she frowns and gets up, grabs her phone from her desk, and goes onto instagram. “now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go do my daily lurking on y/n’s account.” ellie says with a smile while jesse and dina groan in unison.

OKAY NO WAIT
I was reading fanfiction a few minutes ago, right? And it was about halloween costumes. Well, Cameron in halloween costumes.
AND DO YOU KNOW WHAT JUST RANDOMLY CAME TO MY MIND?!?!
okok y’all aren’t ready for this scenario-
Imagine it being Halloween and yn and Cam are going to go to a Halloween party of one of their friends. He knew what costume you’d choose, because you loved it so much, you couldn’t shut up about it. He, however, kept his costume choice a secret. You were lowkey scared he’d come up with something either incredibly scary, weird or stupid but it was
so.
much.
worse.
Or better, in your case.
After a few years of you and him being in a relationship, you randomly told him, that you had an immense crush on his character Jerome Valeska when you were 17. You were a few years younger than him. He was 30 now and you were 25. So when he was 22, you were 17, which was when they released the second season of Gotham. (This shit took all my math knowledge omfg)
You two laughed about it together. Cameron was a bit surprised that you randomly shared your teenage crushes with him, but he found it cute and funny.
So anyways.
It was the evening of the party and you already waited for him in the kitchen, already wearing your (fav costume) costume.
Cam‘s costume must’ve been very time-, skill- and effort-consuming, because he had called someone he once worked with, to help him with it. By the time you were really curious about his costume. Why did he make it such a secret?
You didn’t want to be late, so you knocked on the bathroom door and called:“ Cam, darling, are you ready soon? We’re gonna be late.“
„Yeah, yeah, just a sec, hun!“, he answered from the other side of the door, giggling like a little child.
What the hell was up with him? His costume must be really great.
You went back down the stairs and waited for him at the bottom of the staircase.
After a few minutes, you heard the bathroom door creak open upstairs and him giggling. As he came downstairs you turned around and-
You couldn’t believe your eyes.
Were you dreaming?
Wth was happening.
In front of you stood your boyfriend.
As Jerome mf Valeska.
You stopped breathing for a bit and felt like passing out any second. All those butterflies you felt for the character in your teens-
They were back.
„You like it?“, Cam smirked.
You just stared at him.
Then you just broke out into loud laughter.
„Wtf Cam HAHAHAH WHAT IS THIS“
You had to grab onto your thighs for support while wheezing and laughing.
„I thought, for this Halloween, I’d go as your teenage crush.“, he joined in on your laughter.
„I can’t take this Cam omfg. It’s so weird. I can’t take you seriously with this, you know that right?“
„Nah, I think you’re just even more in love with me right now.“, he grinned proudly.
„Yeah true.“
„Sooo“, he asked, a mischievous smirk on his face.
„ You still in love with lil ol‘ me?“, he asked in his deep Jerome voice.
Your face dropped.
„There is no way you can still do that.“, you said, blushing like mad.
He began laughing again.
„ Guess your crush on him is still there.“, he grinned.
„Yeah I guess the fictional crushes of teenage girls will never leave them.“, you said, a hand now over your mouth, still in shock.
„ Then let’s make little Yn‘s teenage dream come true and let her spend an evening with her bad boyfriend, Jerome Valeska.“, he grinned, placing an arm around your hip as he started guiding you towards the front door to leave.
„You know I’ll not be able to process this the whole evening, right?“, you asked, still a bit in shock.
„Yep.“, he grinned happily.
„Maybe my hot gf will be all over me even more the whole evening.“, he said, leaning down towards your ear, then whispering.
„ You look very hot btw hun. Gotta make sure to not let my feelings take over and take you home again just so I can have you all to myself, huh?“, he smirked.
You blushed. Yn exe literally stopped working.
You had literally the best boyfriend, Cameron Monaghan, who was also Jerome Valeska today..
Wtf.
„I love you so much Cameron, you know that?“
He smiled at you.
„ If you want you could even call me Jerome or J today.“, he smirked.
„But yeah, I know that. I love you too. And I love you more.“, he smiled proudly.
„But just don’t fall for Jerome more than for me, alright?“, he asked jokingly.
„No can do.“, you laughed at him as he poked your sides and started to tickle you as a response to your sassy answer.
—————
At the party, you two leaned on the bar waiting for your drinks. Well basically he leaned with his back against the bar and you leaned with your back against his hard chest, him having his arms around you. He put his head onto your shoulder and let out a sigh, making you shoot him a questioning look.
Then he raised his voice in the Jerome tone.
„It just feels good to be back.“
You giggled.
„Just don’t start killing people for real okay?“
„Why not? I wouldn’t harm you of course, doll. You’re the Bonnie to my Clyde.“, he murmured in your ear in that raspy voice.
You laughed.
„Hell yeah I am.“
You took his hand in yours and placed a soft kiss on its back.
„And nothing’s gonna change that.“, you added, now turning your head to the side and giving him a kiss on the cheek. He smiled, turned his head in your direction as well and kissed you on your lips, soft and gentle, the sfx make up on his lips feeling funny but also kinda real, which was astonishing.
As you pulled back, you examined every inch of his scarred face. Then you absentmindedly traced the scar where his face was „sewn on again“.
This was literally the most romntic thing Cam could’ve ever done for you and you didn’t even think about it earlier. That he could dress as Jerome.
There was a moment of silence as you two looked at each other.
„ I love you.“, you said. It was the most genuine and honest tone of yours.
„ Just please don’t get stabbed in the neck again or fall off a building. I can’t handle that shit again 8 years later. Hurt bad enough at 17.“, you smirked, rolling your eyes.
He chuckled.
„ I promise.“, he said in a playful way, but then his expression turned serious.
„I could never leave you YN, really. I love you.“
——————-
You two had an amazing evening.
BROOO IMAGINE-
Guys it’s 4:22 am and I’m sick so I really don’t give a fuck about any mistakes in this. That’s also why there aren’t any cute symbols or pictures for the aesthetic, I’m literally writing this on my phone rn. So I’ll fix that and correct them later, okay?
Thanks
Love ya <3
Bye

spidey and sprinkles - peter b. parker x gen!reader
this is part one to a multiple chapter series that i have posted on ao3 as well.
summary: While settling into your new apartment in New York, you find yourself enamored with Peter B. Parker, as he spices up your daily life.
You gleamed at the setup of your apartment. Everything was aesthetically pleasing, from the color coordination of the furniture to the pictures and artwork you had managed to stick to the wall. Although it had taken you weeks after your actual move-in date to achieve, it finally paid off, and pride echoed in your chest as you admired the home you made for yourself.
Rome wasn’t built in a day, which was made crystal clear to you as the light of your phone demanded your attention. The decorating that brought itself late into the night displayed itself in the form of the clock on your phone, and now all that was left was to settle into your bed.
You began to slip into your pajamas when a familiar sound erupted from your stomach—a grumble. Once the soft fabric of your pajama pants collides with your skin, it dawns on you that you haven’t eaten at all, being so preoccupied with decorating your new apartment. You slip on a jacket and some slides, grab your keys, and hop into your car.
The car stops at a 24-hour grocery store nearby. The parking lot is empty, safe for a few cars that you only can assume are majorly from staff, with a few customers looking to get a late-night snack like yourself. Slightly spooked by the darkness outside, you quickly enter the glowing market to find yourself wandering down the aisles, pushing a primarily empty cart. Pizza dough, shredded cheese, and some pepperoni make their way into said cart, the idea of a homemade pizza teasing itself for tomorrow's lunch. Grabbing a few more essentials, you get down to the ice cream aisle. Your hand grabs the last bin of vanilla bean as a treat for your hard work. As you reach for it, your hand comes into contact with a slightly warmer and softer one.
You look up and are met with the brown eyes of a man who can’t be any older than his late 30s. You shyly retract your hand while he does the same. The older man awkwardly rubbed his hand behind his neck.
“Sorry, I didn’t know vanilla bean was that popular option.” You smiled at him.
He chuckled, gesturing towards you to take it. “I insist you have it. I can grab a different flavor.”
You frowned, shaking your head and pointing to the container. “No, it’s okay. I can grab something else.”
The exchange goes back and forth until you both coincidentally reach for it and touch your hands again.
The two of you both let out a light laugh, catching the attention of two teens. One is a blonde girl with her head half-shaven, and the other is a brown skin boy with a visually unique jacket. The blonde girl smiled at the older man while walking up to him.
“Did you find the ice cream, or were you busy flirting over here?” She laughed.
This caused the boy next to her to punch her shoulder gently. “C'mon, leave him alone, Gwen!”
The older male rolled his eyes at her as she grabbed the container and placed it into her smaller handheld basket. You couldn’t tell if you wanted to laugh at his obvious annoyance or the red tint that crept across his face at the girl’s blunt description of the situation.
The male pulled out his wallet and handed a couple of bills to the younger boy. “You and Miles go up and pay, and I will catch up in a sec.”
The two teens giggled, walking off and whispering things to each other that you could only assume were pretenses about you two.
The guy turned his attention back to you, a slight smirk on his face. “Well, since it’s my fault your ice cream is gone, I feel responsible for helping you find something else to eat.”
You smiled at his apparent gesture to spend more time with you, but you couldn’t help but accept. “What about your kids?”
He raised his eyebrow, “My..kids?”
“The two kids that you just gave money to?” You stared at him questionably; how can someone forget about their kids?
His confused face turned into one of realization as he shook his head quickly. “No, no, those aren’t my kids. They’re just my friends.”
“Your friends are..two kids?” You questioned jokingly.
Embarrassment was written on his face as he covered it, “No! No! They just come around, and I’ve known them for a bit, so I let them stay! And-“
You cut him off before he over-explained himself. “I know what you mean; I’m just messing with you.” Your eyes wandered around the shelves of the aisles that you two traveled before stopping next to some cookies.
He grabbed the box and observed them. “You can’t go wrong with cookies.”
You nodded, taking the box he handed you and placing it in your cart. The two of you made your way up to the checkout line in silence as the two teens that presumably came with him were finishing their payment.
You rang up your items as he handed the kids the keys to place their purchase in his car. He waited for you to finish before grabbing the bags for you.
“Allow me to walk you to your car. It is pretty dark, after all.”
You agreed and took one of the bags from him.
“By the way, I never asked for your name.” He grinned as he walked you to your car.
“It’s Y/N, and what’s yours?” You took the bag from his hand and placed it into your car with the other.
“It’s Peter.” He handed you his cell phone awkwardly, trying to find the right words. “Will you…if you-“
“Are you asking me for my number?” A curious grin was forming on your lips.
“Yes..” He admitted sheepishly.
You entered your number and handed it back to him. “Thank you, Peter. Call me whenever. I’m always free.”
You got in your car and drove off, leaving him dumbstruck in the parking lot that his charm worked. He walked by to his car, only to be met with questions upon questions from Miles and Gwen.
“Did you get their name?” Miles asked immediately.
“Yeah! It’s Y/N.”

warnings: alludes to making out, no actual smut or mentions of actual sex, fluff ending, short n sweet
a/n: some dad matty for ur day. ty anon i’m sorry this was sent in november 😀
(look at how fucking cute istg)
Tumblr media
Matty wasn't an idiot. The unknown car parked outside, the smell of a cheap cologne from a boy trying to impress a girl, and the giggles coming from upstairs all lead him to the fact that you were doing something you weren't supposed to do. You had a boy over. He had faith in you. He trusted that you would be responsible and not do anything stupid. He basically hoped you learned from his mistakes.
He kept his composure as he walked up the stairs, purposely making loud footsteps as he walked in hopes that when he barged through the door he wouldn’t find anything he wasn’t supposed to find. When he reached he top, the giggles continued, along with a short sound he wished he would never hear.
He knocked. “Baby?”
He heard rustling and a quiet “Shit.” come from the other side before you answered.
“Yeah?”
“Can I come in?”
“No! Uh- I mean…one sec!”
You looked at your friend and pointed the your closet door while your other hand remained on your mouth, signaling him to be quiet. To his dismay, he got into the walk-in closet and you smiled as you shut it.
You opened the door and were met with him leaning against the door frame. His tall frame towered over you as he smiled a fake grin. “Whatcha doing?” He said, almost sing-song-y.
“Nothing.” You quickly replied. You were slightly out of breath from all the running around and trying to hide your new friend.
“Mhm.” He said, nodding. “You’ve been lying to me a lot lately.”
Before you could respond his face got stern, a look he gave often, but never to you. “Move.” You quickly sighed and backed away.
He walked in, stopping in the center of the room, looking around for anything else that was on his ‘no’ list. When he didn't find anything, he sighed and yelled. “Whoever you are, you have two seconds to come out here, grab your things, and leave before I make you regret ever laying a hand on my daughter.”
“Dad-”
“Zip it.” He snapped back at you. He looked back to the room, hands on hips (his iconic parental pose.) “Starting now.”
Your friend slowly came out of your closet and went to greet your dad. Stupidly trying to act as if nothing had happened. “Hi, Mr-”
“You can show yourself out.” Your dad has his arms crossed with an unamused look on his face.
“Yeah.” Your hopefully-soon-to-be-you-really-like-this-guy-boy-guy-friend said.
You were still by the door. Hands behind your back and looking down, smiling. “Bye.” He said. You looked up slightly and gave a tight lip smile, it was genuine though.
Your dad waited till he heard the front door shut before he started with you. “Y/n Healy.” The last name meant you were in trouble.
“Hi.” You said, hesitantly but sweetly.
“What the actual fuck were you thinking.” he was angry. Legitimately angry. Which was a rare sight when the anger was directed towards you.
You however were in a state of bliss and still couldn't get over the fact that a BOY likes you. Like an actual human, teenage, hot boy. So you weren't concerned with what he was doing. “Well…I was thinking that you wouldn't be home for another hour and that would be plenty of time to continue what I was doing, and then my friend who you just met would leave, and you or anyone else would never find out?” You smiled.
“Stop being a smart ass.”
“You asked me what I was thinking!” You laughed
“Is this funny to you?”
You thought for a moment. Looking down and pondering. “Yeah! Kind of!”
Your dad was not happy.
Your face changed when you realized he was still serious. “I mean, no. No, of course not.”
He took a few steps towards you. “Are you trying to be grounded?”
You kept smiling and tried to hold your ground at the same time. Eventually, you gave up. “I like this! I like being a teenager! I like having fun, and then lying to you, and then telling you immediately after because I feel bad! I like him! We weren't even doing anything! We were just kissing and doing other things I don’t want to tell you about. And I had fun.”
Matty rolled his eyes.
“When was the last time you saw me smile this big.”
“Are you high right now?”
To be honest you weren’t. You were just in the middle of reeling in your new-found bliss that it was all getting to your head. Your dad was realizing it though. You were happy.
“Let’s be honest Dad, I would’ve told you what would’ve happened because I felt bad or something. I can’t keep a secret. Especially not from you.”
He sighed again. You knew you had broke him, and won. You also knew that he was going to keep this stone face up for as long as he could. You reached out your arms trying to bring him back to earth. “I can’t hug you right now.”
“Why not?” You asked, putting your arms down.
He walked past you and through the door. “Go wash yourself clean of your sins, then give me a hug.”
“Dad!” You laughed. “Does that mean I’m not grounded?”
He looked at you from the top of the stairs. “Will you lie to me again?”
“No.” You said. He knew you were being genuine. He knew his baby.
“Okay, you’re not grounded.” He continued his walk down the stairs. You grabbed your towel and headed to the bathroom, getting ready to shower. But not before texting you know-who and telling him the hilarity that just happened.

A “Stupid” Slumber Party
Tumblr media
Summary: Jeff and Sumo find themselves indulging in some slumber party fun while Clarence is away. However, Sumo may be a bit too ticklish for one certain activity.
Lee: Sumo
Ler: Jeff
Author’s Note: The slumber party episode of Clarence gave me so many fic ideas for Jeff and Sumo! Hope you guys enjoy this little fic! Gotta of course tag @fluffleetoast 💖 @madhippiekisser
*————————————————————————*
With Clarence gone at “that stupid slumber party,” as Sumo liked to call it, Jeff and Sumo were left to entertain themselves. They tried Spirographs, board games, even pretending to be Clarence to try and figure out something to do. But nothing seemed to work. All the two had accomplished were awkward silences and random outbursts. They sat on Jeff’s bed wondering what to do next.
“I bet Clarence is having soooo much fun~” Sumo suddenly commented, adding a little hand gesture which made Jeff crack a smile.
“Yeah! Baking cookies and doing each others nails.” Jeff pretended to look at his newly painted nails. “Having pillow fights.” Jeff softly hit Sumo with a pillow and giggled in a high pitched voice.
This caused Sumo to giggle along with him and soon the two were just laughing. Sumo decided that maybe a pillow fight wasn’t such a bad idea. He grabbed the pillow and whacked Jeff in the side.
Jeff seemed a little surprised at first, staring at Sumo’s smiling face for a sec before grabbing the other pillow and hitting him back. The room was filled with giggles and feathers as the two battled with their fluffy weapons.
“Okahay! Okay! I gihive!” Jeff surrendered when Sumo managed to snag both pillows. They even read some teen magazines that Jeff’s moms used to own when they were younger. And he couldn’t lie; the quizzes and articles were actually pretty interesting and funny. Sumo even finding his eyes glued to the pages.
While reading, Jeff came across a page about manicures and pedicures. He never really had anything against painting his nails despite his comment from earlier. In fact, he’s even had mani/pedi nights with his moms multiple times. He actually found the process quite enjoyable. The fun colors and designs, as well as the intricacy and detail work, gave his brain something to focus on. His moms were impressed with how great Jeff was at not making a mess too.
“Hey, would you wanna try painting our nails.” Jeff stammered, unsure of how Sumo would respond. Sumo seemed a bit weary at first. “Uhh- isn’t that girly stuff?” He set his magazine down.
“Well, I guess girls are usually the ones to do this kind of thing. But it’s actually pretty fun. Plus, you and Clarence painted your nails black that one time.” Sumo smiled at the memory Jeff recalled. “Yeah I remember. I mean, what else is there to do right?” Sumo shrugged.
Jeff internally jumped with joy. It was something he didn’t like others knowing he enjoyed so much. And being able to share something like that with a close friend was special. Jeff went to his mother’s bathroom and grabbed the basket of nail polish and tools. He instructed Sumo to sit on the ground while he started working.
He first started with filling his nails, much to Sumo’s dismay, complaining it felt weird. But soon it was time for the actual nail polish. Sumo picked out a dark green color, saying it reminded him of a swamp his family goes to to catch craw daddies. Jeff cringed at the thought of walking through a gross swamp, but complimented his choice nonetheless.
They chatted and told stories while Jeff carefully painted each individual nail. Being sure to wipe off any that got on Sumo’s skin. Sumo intentionally moved his hand at one point and got a big streak across his hand. To which Jeff scolded him and only made Sumo laugh. He promised not to move again though. And he didn’t. He liked the attention Jeff was giving him. Even better yet, he liked the way it looked when it was done.
“There. All finished.” Jeff twisted the cap back on the nail polish and admired his work with a proud smile. “That color looks really good on you, Sumo.” Jeff complimented.
“Oh, you think so?” Sumo smiled, imitating the way Jeff mimicked people looking at their nails earlier. “How long does it take to dry?”
“I’d say a good ten to fifteen minutes. In the meantime, I could paint your toe nails if you wanted to.” Sumo suddenly got kind of nervous. He’s never painted his toes nails. Let alone have someone else do it. But he was having fun, and Jeff looked like he really wanted to. “I mean, sure. How about… that color.” He pointed to the bright red nail polish sitting at the top of the pile.
“Ooh nice! That’s one of my mom’s favorites. And don’t you dare kick me. If I get nail polish on the carpet I’m dead.” Jeff grabbed the nail polish and shook it to get it ready. Sumo chuckled. “I’ll try not to.” Jeff glared at him. “Okay okay I won’t I promise.”
Sumo took off his socks and set his feet on the pillow Jeff placed down for him. Jeff offered Sumo a teddy bear to hold since sometimes Sumo tends to fidget. Sumo took the bear and held it against his chest.
“Okay, now put these cotton swabs between your toes so they don’t touch while I’m painting them. It helps the person doing the nails not make mistakes.” Jeff handed them to Sumo and waited till he was done.
Sumo sat back against the bed and relaxed. Jeff opened the bright red polish and reached out to hold Sumo’s foot to steady it. Sumo almost jolted at the touch. Why did he have to be so sensitive?! He internally yelled at himself to stay still and not make a sound.
“I wonder if Clarence would ever let me paint his nails. Maybe you can paint mine next, although I think you’d make a mess. No offense Sumo- Hey, you okay?” Jeff noticed Sumo gripping the Teddy Bear and a slight flush of pink along his cheeks. Sumo looked up and got a knot in his throat. If Jeff found out about how ticklish he was he was doomed. Jeff wasn’t the most touchy person in the world, but he’d take advantage of his weakness whenever given the opportunity.
“Y-Yeah I’m fine. The polish is just a little cold.” Sumo lied. His hands slightly loosening their grip on the stuffed animal. Jeff shrugged and commented on how he knows it can be a bit cold at first and that he’ll get used to it. But to Sumo, he couldn’t focus on anything except for the tickly touch of the small brush and Jeff’s fingers holding onto his sole.
Everything in him was telling him to move and run away. But he was stuck. If he moved, he could knock the bottle over or even worse, get some on his feet to which he’d have to scrub off. Which even tickled doing himself from past experience with mud.
The sensations got worse with each toe down the line. He barely managed to not move during the second, but the third ultimately ended up breaking him. Jeff gently moved his hand to hold onto Sumo’s toes and start painting. Sumo squealed and attempted to pull his foot back. His face going down to hide against the teddy bear.
“Sumo, did you just squeal?” Jeff looked up confused. Sumo kept his head down, fear of his face being even more flushed.
“No! Of course not. I just… sneezed- Yeah I sneezed.” Sumo hoped Jeff would believe him. Oh who was he kidding who sneezes like that?!
“That didn’t sound like a sneeze. Do you have a cut or something? The polish can burn if it gets into an open wound so-“ Jeff once again was taken aback by Sumo letting out a high pitched noise when Jeff grabbed his toes and ran his finger along them looking for cuts. It wasn’t till Sumo looked up slightly that he saw the blush and it clicked. A smirk grew on his face. A plan hatching in his mind.
“Bless you.” He said, making it clear to Sumo that he was falling for his lie. At least, that’s what he wanted Sumo to think. “Oh uh, thank you.“ Sumo couldn’t believe Jeff fell for it. He thought he was smarter than that, but he was glad it seemed to work.
“For the last couple nails, I’m gonna need to adjust my hold.” Jeff kept himself from smiling in fear of Sumo catching onto his plan. Jeff turned around and grabbed his ankle into a headlock. Why did he need to use a headlock with painting nails? Sumo’s eyes widened with realization.
“Hey uh, I don’t really think- GAH!” Sumo yelped when he was pulled so he now laying on the ground. Jeff still had his ankle locked in place. His eyes widened when he saw Jeff look back and smirk. “I didn’t know you were ticklish Sumo.” Sumo gulped. Jeff wouldn’t-
“I- I’m not. I don’t know what you’re- hehehehey! Quihihit it!” Sumo started giggling when Jeff wiggled his fingers against his foot. He tried kicking, but Jeff was stronger than he looked.
“Well that didn’t last long.” Jeff commented at the immediate giggles he received. Sumo just squeezed the plushie tighter to his chest while trying even harder to pull at his legs.
“Jeheheff! Stahahahahahap!” But he didn’t. He kept going. Jeff started scratching along the arch of his foot and couldn’t help but chuckled at the high pitched noises it got. Jeff’s fingers were sending tickly electricity up Sumo’s legs with each poke and scribble.
Sumo started whacking Jeff’s back with the teddy bear, so much so that he managed to catch Jeff off guard with a whack to his side causing Jeff to fall over.
Sumo quickly pulled his legs to his chest, the stuffed bear muffling his leftover giggles. Jeff recovered from his small hit and turned around to face his friend. Anyone would agree that it was actually pretty adorable. Sumo, the little gremlin that he is, never really gets flustered like this. Jeff liked this look on him. For once, Jeff was going to be the one making Sumo beg through giggles instead of Clarence and Sumo teaming up to do the same to him. He’s been the victim of too many tickle attacks from that duo.
“Don’t think I’m done with you yet, Sumo. This is for all the times you helped Clarence tickle me!” Jeff was of course being playful as he said this. Bringing his hands up and wiggling his fingers. Sumo tried throwing the bear at Jeff, but only succeeded in losing his only weapon and shield.
“Noho! Jeff this isn’t fahair!” Sumo put his hands up to try and grab at Jeff’s hands. Jeff knew Sumo could get away at any point. He was strong and crazy enough to get out of pretty much any situation he didn’t want to be in. That being said, Jeff knew Sumo was having as much fun as he was. So that’s why he didn’t feel any remorse when he suddenly pounced and started squeezing Sumo’s sides.
“JEHEHEHEHEHEFF! GEHET OHOHOHOFF!” Sumo’s arms slammed down to his sides. His legs kicked lightly and he desperately tried to grab at the offending hands. He couldn’t lie to himself that he wasn’t having fun though. Roughhousing like this was something he loved to do, especially with his close friends.
“No way I’m still getting my revenge. Although I don’t think you mind it all that much.” Jeff teased while moving his hands to Jeff’s stomach. Forming his one hand into a claw while the other squeezed at his lower side.
“GAHAHAD! SHUHUHUT UHUHUP! *snort* NOHOHAHAHAHAHA!” Sumo used one hand to cover his now blushing face as the other tried to block his midriff.
“Oho my gosh what was that?! I didn’t know you snorted when you laughed, Sumo!” Jeff was treating this like an experiment than revenge. Which little spot could make his friend let out a snort or where would make Sumo get lost in giggles?
“AHAHAHAHA! IHIHI *snort* DOHOHN’T!” Sumo tried turning to the side to cover his stomach. That only made Jeff squeeze the new area that faced him and Sumo turn back over. This little game went on for a little bit before Jeff grabbed at Sumo’s hips to keep him still.
“GAHH! JEHEHEFF! NAHAHAT THEHEHERE!” Sumo sacrificed Jeff seeing his flushed face to grab onto his wrists, only holding on and not pulling, however.
“Not here you say? How come? Does it tickle~” Jeff found himself getting lost in the role. He understood why Clarence and Sumo tickled each other all the time and even went after him. It was fun. He continued to squeeze and knead into the newly discovered tickle spot. For Sumo, it was a spot his older brothers abused a lot when he got on their nerves.
Sumo started kicking his legs at Jeff. Even landing a good hit to the others knee. “Hehey watch it!” Jeff exclaimed reaching to squeeze right above Sumo’s kneecap. This caused a shrill squeal to escape from Sumo’s lips. Jeff had to pull his hands away to cover his ears for a moment. Sumo breathed deeply and wrapped his arms around his waist.
“You jeherk! Thahat was soho mehehean!” Sumo spoke through his leftover giggles. His arms rising and falling with his chest. A wide smile and a little pink still spread across his face. Jeff chuckled and sat next to Sumo against the bed.
“Oh please. That was me being nice. Just be glad I didn’t go for your neck.” Jeff punctuated his sentence with a scribble to the back of Sumo’s neck. Sumo immediately whipped around and grabbed Jeff’s hand with both of his.
“Nahat the neheck or you’re aha dead mahan!” Sumo’s expression was one of pure joy. He couldn’t stop the giggles or little butterflies that flapped in his stomach. Jeff appreciated these moments between the two. They could have their differences, but at the end of the day they’re best friends who have fun together.
“Don’t worry I’m done. For now at least.” Jeff helped Sumo sit up. He grabbed the teddy bear and handed it back to Sumo who gladly accepted and hugged it. There was a moment of silence before Sumo spoke up.
“So I guess I’m too ticklish for a pedicure then.” Sumo motioned to the one foot that only had three nails painted. Jeff laughed and grabbed the bottle of nail polish.
“I could always finish. No full on tickles this time I promise. But you don’t have to hold in your laughter now.” Jeff went to sit back in front of Sumo. Sumo nodded and agreed. He did want to know what it looked like finished after all. So Jeff continued to paint Sumo’s toes. A few giggles filling the silence from both parties.
Once he was done and the polish was dry, Sumo admired Jeff’s work. He was impressed. The color actually looked really nice and he loved the way the glitter shimmered in the light. “Dang, Jeff! It looks amazing!” Sumo spun in a circle to further show his appreciation. And maybe because inside he was feeling really beautiful.
“No problem. Like I said, I’ve gotten plenty of practice with my moms. They were never as ticklish as you though.” He gave Sumo a quick poke to his side. Sumo jumped and smacked Jeff’s hand. Before the two knew it, they were dancing to Bro Down and weren’t even worried about what Clarence would do. They didn’t need to. They had each other, and that was enough.

Vampire Chrissy AU, At Dawn They Sleep
"...what are you doing?" Eddie Munson stared down at the blood covered cheerleader who had her palm stuck out towards him.
"Trying to make you forget you ever saw this." She replied and Eddie continued to stare at her with rising confusion. The light just above the bar's back entrance illuminated her face. Chrissy Cunningham. Queen of Hawkins Highschool, barely over five feet tall and apparently a murderer. The older teen watched her continue to hold her palm out before he spoke.
"I'm ugh, not feeling anything. Sorry?" Eddie apologized, still unsure on what was even happening. Chrissy's arms went down and she frowned at him.
"Damn it! This works for everyone else."
If Eddie Munson was a rational person he would probably be running now. But the curiosity heavily outweighed the fear. Instead he snorted at the blonde girl's face.
"What? Were you trying to mind control me like a vampire or something?" He jokingly asked. Or at least it was a joke until he saw the way her now prominent fangs shown in the faint alley light. "Wait a sec-holy shit. Are you a fucking vampire?" He didn't wait for an answer as the panic finally started to set in. "Oh my God. Chrissy Cunningham is a fucking vampire. And you just killed a dude! What the fuck-?" He was cut off by Chrissy rushing at him. Eddie dropping the cigarette he'd been smoking in surprise as she lifted him up against the brick alley wall with surprising ease. One hand gripping the front of his shirt while the other wrapped around his mouth to silence his panic.
"Please don't panic." She said, seeming to make the goth only more panicked as he looked down at her with wide eyes. "I didn't kill him. I just...took a little drink. I never drink enough to kill. I promise. He'll just wake up in a few hours and won't remember anything." To this Eddie raised an eyebrow in disbelief. "Listen, I'll let you go but you have to promise not to scream. Okay?" Eddie took a moment to think before nodding. Letting the taller boy go and he dropped to the ground. Taking a moment to catch his breath and he glanced over at the body again. A still breathing body. Watching the man's chest rise and fall, if only slightly.
"Okay, ugh, wow. Lot to process right now...first off, holy shit. You're a vampire." He managed to get out. "That's definitely...weird."
"Um yeah." Chrissy nodded in agreement. "Sorry, it's just you're taking this surprisingly well. Most people freak out went they see the fangs."
"Freak out? Why would I do that? This is like the coolest thing ever. You're a vampire!" Eddie replied giddily. "Have you always been like this? Can you fly? Can you turn into a bat? Are the fangs like straws or is it more of a scrape and lick type of thing?" So many questions ran through his head as the blonde blankly stared at him.
"You're not scared of me?"
"No. This is like the coolest thing ever! Holy shit balls!" Eddie's reaction made the girl giggle.
"You won't tell anyone, will you?"
"No! Course not." Eddie shook his head. "Don't know if you've noticed but this town hates different. I get the shit beat out of me for being a dude who paints his nails. Who knows what they'd do if they found out you were a blood sucking creature of the night."
"I guess." Chrissy frowned. "And the answer to most of this questions are, I have no idea. I was only turned a year ago."
"Well we have to fix that!"
"Fix...what?" The cheerleader asked as her face screwed up in confusion.
"Come on, aren't you curious? You're w vampire now! Imagine all the different things you can do!" Eddie puffed up his chest and pointed a thumb at himself. "And you are looking at a bona-fide vampire aficionado. I've seen every vampire movie ever and I've DMed the Strahd Ravenloft module twice."
"I have no idea what any of that last part meant but if you're willing to help, I'll try anything!" Chrissy agreed when there was a groan from the man lying behind the dumpster. "We should probably talk later. See you at school tomorrow?"
"Yeah. Tomorrow sounds cool."

(Fade back in)
(Angel Grove Youth Center 1993)
It was just any other normal day, or what counted a normal in Angel Grove anyway. The youth center was as usual jumping with young patrons from just about every walk of life. This is the haven to the six teens who have been the given the honor of protecting the city by being power rangers, a young man dressed in a red tank top and black warm-ups was sparing with a young African American boy who wore a black tank top and black warm-ups, a young Asian woman was on the other side of the work out floor going through some katas with a young man in blue jeans and a blue striped shirt,
"Ohhh, good move Zack. I didn't see that one coming." Jason said as Zack had laid a devastating shadow kick to Jason's side,
"I told you, my 'Hip-Hop Kido' is unstoppable." Zack said with some laughter in his voice,
"True it is hard to anticipate your next move with all the movement, but you have to be careful about an over aggressive opponent." Jason offered with some wisdom behind him. At that moment Tommy, Kim and the others teleported into a deserted hallway, because Tommy and Kim were use to it when they were younger they landed on their feet the others did not fair so well,
"Oof!" the dino thunder teens yelped out has they had landed yet again on top of each other,
"Guys keep it down! We don't want anyone to know who we are." Tommy scolded in a hushed tone,
"Easy for you to say this is like the second time we teleported." Conner answered as the four teens pulled each other back on their feet,
"Come on lets get this out of the way before Rita decides to attack." Kim said leading the group down the hall to the main area in the youth center,
"Hi Ernie" Kim said,
"Hey Kim, Tommy, how are you? Hey who are your friends." Ernie said,
"It's going good, hey this is Conner, Kira, Ethan, and Trent. Guys this is the greatest guy in the world Ernie." Tommy replied,
"Oh come on Tommy stop your embarrassing me. Its nice to meet you guys." Ernie said as he shock everyone's hand,
"I guess these guys are also rangers. Hopefully the more help Tommy and their friends have the less likely anyone is to get hurt." Ernie thought in the back of his mind,
"Well guys use the equipment to your hearts desires and I think Jason is teaching today and if you guys need any refreshment don't hesitate to ask. And it was nice meeting you." Ernie said as the teens turned to meet up the other rangers from this time period, the six teens made their way to a secluded table and waited for their friends to join them,
"So this is the famous youth center that you always talk about huh Dr. ummmm Tommy." Kira said as she surveyed the layout of the youth center,
"Yeah this is were I met this beautiful lady or should I say girl." Tommy said as he flashed a very charming smile that stereotypically shone at one corner at Kim who in turned blushed,
"Is that natural?" Conner asked hushed to Ethan and Trent, who looked on in awe in what they saw,
"Hey Dr. Forgetful do you remember what day today is?" Kim asked slyly,
"Hmm this is a tough one, could it be the day that I asked you out on our first date?" Tommy answered,
"You got it." Kim replied with a slight giggle in her voice,
"Wait we came back on a very important day in you love life?" Ethan asked puzzled,
"I would appear so, funny how time travel works huh?" Tommy replied,
"Hey would you guys excuse us for a minuet me and Kim need to have a word." Tommy said as he rose from his seat followed by Kim, they walked over to an empty hallway to talk,
"Tommy." Kim said knowing almost exactly what Tommy wanted to talk about,
"Kim since we have a sec now, I need to know who my son is." Tommy said,
"Why did you keep him from me, I would have dropped everything I was doing to be with you and our son." Tommy said with some pain behind his words,
"That's why I kept him a secret, I knew you were still a ranger when he was born. Jason came down to see me after I sent you that letter to see what was up, and he convinced me to come clean with you about it that's what we were doing when we were captured by Divatox, but after it was over I saw you with Kat and I just couldn't go though with it. You looked so happy I didn't want to ruin that for you so I talked to Zordon and he helped me hide our son so he couldn't be used against you or me." Kim explained getting misty-eyed,
"Well I suppose what you did was for the best, but I'm still upset about having the decision taken out of my hands." Tommy said sounding very disappointed,
"I know, and I'm really sorry Tommy but it had to be done. Even Zordon said I did the right thing, and you know Zordon would never approve of anything that would hurt us." Kim said defendingly as she her tears were faintly starting to flow,
"Hey, hey hey, its ok I'm just trying to get over it. Look you did do the right thing; I'm just a little upset; that's all. I can't stay mad at you." Tommy said as he lifted Kim's chin so she could look in his eyes, and what she saw there brought a smile on her face and more tears; but tears of joy. What she saw was love, compassion, and strength; it was then she knew that everything was ok. Her guilt was then laid to rest,
"So tell me who is he? You said that I knew him and that I've already met him." Tommy ask curiously,
"Well like I said back before Hayley called, he is very much like his father. He wears his father's old ranger color-" Kim said as she was cut off,
"-Wait what are you saying?" Tommy said as he started to panic but that that moment Jason and Zach saw how animated in their conversation and decided to go see what was shaking,
"Hey guys what's up? You guys are really getting into your conversation here." Jason said concerned about his best friend and little sister,
"Hey Jace, listen lets get the group together; we all have something to talk about." Tommy explained cryptically, "ok I'll go get everyone." Jason responded knowing exactly what Tommy was implying, a few minuets later the ranger team from the past was sitting at a secluded table with the ranger team from the future,
"what's going on Tommy? Who are these guys?" Jason asked once everyone was settled,
"Ok first off you guys should know that at the moment Kim and I are from the future but at the same time were not, it that makes any sense." Tommy tried to explain but no success,
"What my logic challenged boyfriend is trying to say is that our adult minds are in our teenage bodies." Kim added after seeing Tommy fail,
"Hmm, I see you don't want to interrupt the natural flow time." Billy said,
"Exactly" Kim and Tommy said while the other rangers looked at them,
"Uhhh adult minds here." Kim said in response to the awkward stares,
"He said we don't want to change anything in past because it could change things in the future we know." Tommy translated,
"Ok that answers one question but what about these four, who are they?" Zach asked,
"These are the rangers from the future that the adult Kim and I are from. In the future I lead a new team of rangers and these are them; this is Kira, Ethan, Trent, and Conner" Tommy explained,
"Wait so your still a ranger in the future?" Jason asked,
"Yes" Tommy answered,
"What about us? Are we still rangers?" Trini asked,
"Umm I would like to answer that but I cant, knowing too much about the future could change things. So I can tell you." Tommy explained,
"So what do we do now?" asked Kira,
"For now I guess we should all get to know each other till someone from either here or the future figures out a way to get us home." Kim answered,
"You sound like you know from experience." Trent said,
"It's a long story." Kim said while the old team of rangers looked at her funny,
"Sorry guys I cant tell you about it, natural flow of time and all." Kim responded,
"Anyway Conner why don't you tell everyone about yourself." Tommy said as they all tried to break the ice.
(Ranger Command Center 2004)
Hayley along with the help of Trini and Billy were working feverishly to try and find a way to get their friends back, it was starting to get dark and Mesogog had wasted no time in establishing control over the entire city. Luckily for the rangers Dr. Oliver's house was well hidden in the woods,
"Ok guys dinner is here." Jason called out as he teleported back in,
"What did you get us honey." Trini asked,
"Burger King." Jason answered as he passed out burgers and fries to everyone in the command center,
"Hey if the city is under Mesogog's control how did you get Burger King?" asked Hayley, as the others just looked a Jason for an answer,
"Easy I teleported to Angel Grove and bought it there." Jason explained. As they ate the three former rangers talked about the old days, and exchanged some embarrassing stories about other rangers and in particular about Kim and Tommy, but eventually they three people who were in position to help decided to get back to work leaving Jason to his own vices till Rocky, Zach, Adam, Tanya, Kat, or Aisha to show up; but they wouldn't show up till tomorrow sometime,
"Ok well seeing that I'm the tech advisor for this team I'll take the first night shift, you guys must be tired. Why don't you go upstairs and make yourselves comfortable." Hayley offered,
"Trini you go ahead I think I'll stay here and work with Hayley for a bit longer." Billy said,
"Thanks for that Billy." Hayley thanked,
"Anytime, they're not only your friends. And besides I like working with you." Billy said shyly as Hayley looked at him trying not to blush too much,
"Well . . . umm lets get back to trying to find Tommy and the others." Hayley said as the two geniuses worked.
(Moon palace 1993)
"So it's a agreed then, we attack the red ranger first and soon after the others will fall. One by one." Rita surmised,
"Yes, and we'll launch our attack tomorrow." Elsa added,
"Oh I can't wait to finally be rid of that meddlesome team of rangers." Rita cried out in joy,
"Yes my mistress, finally those accursed rangers will fall before your awesome might." Goldar added,
"Yes and then we'll rule the world." Baboo cheered,
"Yes this is going exactly according to plan." Elsa thought as an insidious grin grew on her face.
"Now if there is nothing else to go over, is there a place in this dump where a person can get some sleep." Elsa asked,
"Sure, GOLDAR! Show our esteemed guest here, to a suitable quarters." Rita ordered,
"Right away my empress." Goldar responded,
"Oh this is not good, now I have two harpies to deal with." Goldar though as he lead this new "guest" to her room for the time being.
(Ranger Command Center 1993)
"ALPHA, ARE YOU STILL GETTING AN INTERDEMENTIONAL TIME SPACE LIKE READING?" Zordon asked his robotic assistant
"Yes Zordon, it has not yet dissipated. Ay yi yi yi yi, it seems to be growing stronger." Alpha explained,
"HMM, IT WOULD SEEM THAT FABERIC OF TIME AND SPACE CAN NOT HANDLE THE STRAIN OF HAVING THE RANGERS FROM THE FUTURE AND THE ADULT KIMBERLY AND TOMMY. THIS COULD MEAN THAT THE FABERIC OF TIME AND SPACE COULD BE TEARING UNDER ITS OWN WEIGHT." Zordon mused,
"Ay yi yi yi yi, Zordon is this it? Is this the end of everything?" Asked the panicked robot,
"IT VERY WELL COULD BE ALPHA CONTINUTE TO MONITOR THIS SITUATION AND IF IT CONTINUES TO GROW CONTACT THE ONE RANGER THAT CAN HELP US NOW." Zordon commanded,
"Zordon wait, wasn't he destroyed before the birth of this universe?" Alpha asked,
"YES BUT THIS PURPOSE AND POWERS WERE TOO GREAT FOR HIM TO DIE, THOUGH HE MAY BE A GHOST HE HAS BEEN ABLE TO HELP WITH MATTERS OF THIS NATURE." Zordon explained,
"Ok then, I'm on it Zordon." The little robot responded,
"FOR NOW ALPHA WE NEED NOT CONCERN THE RANGERS WITH THIS, I WILL BE IN MY CHAMBERS MEDITATING. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHEN THE RANGERS FROM THE FUTURE COME BACK." Zordon instructed,
"Will do Zordon." Alpha responded.
[A few hours later it started to get dark]
(Youth Center 1993)
As Ernie was starting to close up the shop for the day the rangers decided to part ways after an afternoon of bonding with the past and future. Tommy, Kim, and the dino thunder team were all that were left at the front doors of the youth center after Ernie left,
"Ok well, you guys better teleport back to the command center before Alpha and Zordon get worried." Kim said to the young teenagers,
"Yeah I guess you right." Ethan said somberly,
"Just one question how do you guys always land on your feet? I mean we always seem to crash how on each other." Kira said,
"Its easy, just steady yourself before you teleport and stay frozen in that position and when you land expect little bit of force pushing down on you." Tommy explained,
"Oh is that all" Conner piped up,
"Conner chill be glad that its faster and more discreet than riding around on the raptor cycles." Trent said trying to keep Conner from complaining,
"Hey I like riding around in the raptor cycles." Conner quipped in,
"Conner keep it down, no one is suppose to know who we are." Tommy scolded,
"Sorry." Conner said sheepishly,
"Anyway get moving you guys." Tommy said, and with that the four teens from the future teleported in streaks of their respective colors,
"Well now that the kids are gone, what do you say mom and pop get hang out a bit." Tommy said,
"Well that would be fine if we weren't kids again." Kim said smartly,
"Technically we're teens again, big difference between the two." Tommy responded,
"True very true, but then again you would know." Kim said smartly again with a grin,
"Anyway we need to act like ourselves back in this time so our parents or anyone else don't catch on." Kim interjected,
"Yeah you're right, so see you tomorrow beautiful?" Tommy asked,
"Sure. . . Handsome." Kim said with a smile and a glow, and with that the two other teens parted ways to go to their respective homes for the night.
(Ranger Command Center 1993)
Alpha was working on monitoring the anomaly that had mysteriously appeared when the dino thunder team did, when suddenly the dino teens teleported into the command center. Ethan and Trent landed just like the others rangers of this time with their feet firmly planted on the ground, Conner and Kira on the other hand did not fair so well. Conner landed hard on his back and Kira landed on top of him facing him, they briefly shared a moment of connection when they looked in each other's eyes and almost kissed,
"Ay yi yi yi yi, are you guys ok?" Alpha asked snapping them back to reality,
"Yeah I'm fine." Conner said pushing Kira off to the side,
"Oof, gee thanks Conner." Kira said,
"Sorry." Was all Conner could muster as he and alpha helped Kira up to her feet,
"Anyway were here at night fall like you instructed alpha, what now?" Ethan asked,
"Well back in the bunker you guys were in should be some cots, blankets and such for you to sleep comfortably in. if you guys nee anything don't hesitate to ask I will be here recharging." Alpha explained,
"Cool thanks alpha and tell Zordon good night for me please." Kira said,
"Will do Kira, good night." Alpha responded, and with that dino thunder rangers made their way to their quarters to sleep. When they got there they spent the time talking about how weird things have gotten, after some time and doing they all feel into an uneasy sleep with Conner and Kira holding the other close in their dreams.
(Night skies over Angel Grove and Reefside)
Slowly the vertex starts to grow larger, a stray cat stalks around in the park and is suddenly sucked into the vertex; lost in time or completely destroyed within the vertex for all anyone knows. In its place a large weird looking yellow mouse is thrown into the landscape of Angel Grove Park. The helpless, ghostly form of a ranger that has mastered time and space since his death long ago watches on and takes note of how things are slowly changing for the worst,
"What is going on here? That has never happened before; this is not good the integrity of space and time is deteriorating faster than I thought. This is not good, as things get worse for space time continuum I lose power and what ever form I can retain." The ghostly ranger said as again his ghostly form fades a little closer to oblivion. Something must be done for all parties involved, from the future, the present, and the past to make it through this catastrophe. Lets just hope its not too late.

Getting Ready
Tumblr media
“These uniforms are…kinda boring, don’t you think?” Amber said, buttoning the vest of her fall uniform in front of the mirror.
Tumblr media
“All uniforms are boring!” Jasper agreed with a laugh, she didn’t even have her blue vest on. It was sitting on her bed next to her as she played her switch. Amber plopped next to her sister, and looked over her shoulder.
“You know, you need to get dressed to- watch out! The left! The left!”
“I see ‘im…Hah! Take that!”
There was a knock on their door “Girls, are you ready yet?” Their mother asked from the otherside of the door. “You better not be playing games instead. The Director’s here already.”
“We’re not!” They chimed together. Jasper paused her game. They gave each other a grin.
“We’ll be down in a sec, mom,” Amber promised.
“Alright…” She sounded skeptical, but they heard footsteps retreating, so they were in the clear.
They got off the bed, Jasper putting the switch in a blue case, and into a dufflebag. Amber grabbed her backpack and dufflebag, before putting her uniform hat on. She gave the mirror one last look, before motioning to Jasper to get her stuff too.
Jasper didn’t bother buttoning her vest when she put it on, but grabbed the rest of her stuff and put on her hat and managed to beat her sister to the door.
The two ran down the stairs of their new home to meet their mom and the Director having tea in the living room.
“It is nice to be back in the family home,” they heard their mom say.
“Yes, the applications said you were living in Hoenn until recently,” A rather serious looking old man dressed in all purple said. “What brought you back here, if you don’t mind me asking?”
“Not at all!” Their mom giggled,” Between my parents getting older, and Uva Academy opening applications again, it seemed like it was time to come home. Oh, girls, come over here, and meet Director Clavell of Uva Academy.”
The two teens finally stepped into the living room, after watching the two old folks discuss boring things.
“I’m Jasper Desoto!”
“I’m Amber Desoto!”
Tumblr media
“And weeeee’re,” They said in unison” The Desoto sisters!”
With their hair down, the only real way to tell them apart was the color of their duffel bags, Jasper had blue and Amber had pink, and the fact that Jasper’s vest was unbuttoned.
“Really, Jasper?” Her mother sighed, getting up and buttoning her daughter’s vest for her. “It’s your first day of a new school. Please, try to make a good first impression…”
“Sorry, mom,”Jasper mumbled, while Amber giggled.
“You too Amber. I don’t want to hear about either of you getting into trouble.”
“Yeah, yeah.”
“Amber…”
“I got it. I’ll behave.”
Director Clavell cleared his throat and stood up. Their mother looked a bit embarrassed, apparently forgetting that he was there.
“It is a pleasure to meet the both of you, Miss Jasper, Miss Amber. As your mother said, I’m Director Clavell, the head of Uva Academy. As new students, I have brought a present for the both of you. If you would please follow me outside. It isn’t really a gift suited for giving inside the house,” With that he headed out the front door. The twins exchanged an excited look at the mention of presents, and ran after him. Their mother following at a slower pace.
“Now. It is tradition for new students at the Academy to receive one of three pokemon,” He pulled out three pokeballs, and called out the Sprigatito, Quaxly, and Fuecoco. “They’re all great companions to begin with, so there are no wrong choices. I will leave them with you for now, so the two of you may get to know them. When you’ve made your decision, please find me at that house over there.”
“Yes, sir,” The two girls said, already playing with the pokemon. The Director chuckled and walked off to the next student’s house.
“Ah, I remember when I got my first pokemon too. It was such an exciting day~” Their mom sighed,”I’ll be inside if you need me, alright?”
The pair nodded, and the mom went inside.

⚠️ english isn't my first language
"Yo man, have you seen y/n?" Fezco has been looking for you for almost half an hour now. Your phone was dead so his calls and messages were completely useless. Ashtray shook his head, in fact, he hasn't seen you since you stepped into the party. Fezco huffed, his hands running through his face in absolute desperation. He asked Maddy and Lexi, getting the same answer from them his brother gave him. Fezco was worried because he knew you didn't know how to drink alcohol like a normal human being. Always you ending completely wasted and passing out on him or throwing up. Plus, when he saw Nate the creep Jacobs a shiver ran down his spine. Teens doing drugs, creeps all around the party, a lot of empty bottles of alcohol by this time of the night... The only men Fezco trusted was his brother, that was a fact.
"Oh hell nah..." Fezco threw his hands into the air. Of course you were with Kat and Jules. When he spotted you in the crowd you were taking a shot with them, pure transparent liquid filling the glass and Fezco being a hundred percent sure it wasn't water. He made his way through the people inside the house until he got to you. "Hello ladies. Imma steal this pretty one for a sec real quick." Jules and Kat giggled. Fezco took your hand making you turn around in a quick movement, feeling the alcohol going up and down your entire digestive system. "You can't drink like you are a fucking flowerpot y/n. Look at me." Your dizziness made you stumble, Fezco being quick enough to hug your waist and stop you from falling. "How much have you drunk?"
Your eyes were focused on Jules and Kat dancing and having fun while your boyfriend talked to you. Fezco squeezed your cheeks making your eyes stare into his. Yours were inked in red, eyelids almost closed, a red blush on your cheeks, and a soft smile on your lips as you looked at your boyfriend in awe. "I love you Fez!" You screamed so he could listen to you over the loud music.
"Yeah, I love you too ma', but we finna go home now, k?" That seemed so right to you. You were tired and as much as you wanted to go dance with the girls your body, especially your feet, thought otherwise.
The drive to Fezco's house was complicated. You were in the backseat, the window partially open since you needed some fresh air to not throw up during the ride. The two brothers were in the front part of the car. Ash talked about business while Fezco listened but still got an eye on you thanks to the rear-view mirror. "She ain't gon never learn how to drink a normal fucking amount of alcohol?" Ash asked his brother when you started to mumble the words of the song that was playing on the radio.
Ash handed you a candy bar but you shook your head. "It ain't an option." The boy said and threw the bar to you. He knew your hangover was going to be worse if you went to bed with an empty stomach. So you listened to him and ate what he gave you.
"Okay, we here baby." Fezco helped you to get out of the car, walking behind you all the time in case you fell. He helped you to take off your heels once you got into the house before you twisted your ankle. "Go to my room and wait for me." You nodded, hands on the walls as you walked down the hallway.
Fezco took some things he needed and went to his room with you. You were sitting in his bed waiting for him as he said. Eyes almost closed and dry mouth. The taste of alcohol going up and down your throat made you want to puke every time you could feel it coming to your mouth. Your eyes lighted when you saw Fezco entering the room with a bottle of water and a bunch more things. But the water bottle being your main objective. "Shit, drink slow..." While you drank, he approached his closet and picked one of his shirts for you. "You want pants?" You shook your head when he asked. "Okay, stand up for me now ma'." You got up from the bed and turned around so he could unzip your dress, the thin fabric falling to your feet when he did it. He was about to put his shirt on you when you spoke. "Take it off too please, my back hurts ." Fezco's hands worked like an expert unhooking your bra. It also fell to the floor. He caressed your naked back, his fingers touching the marks your bra left on your skin. "You need a massage?" You shook your head again and turned around to face him as he slippedd his shirt into you.
Fezco also got some wipes you kept at his house to clean your make up. He carefully removed your lipstick, giving you a quick peck on your lips that made you giggle. He removed your mascara, the little sparkles you had under your eyes, and your perfectly done eyeliner until all the makeup was completely gone from your face. He kissed your forehead. "We gon' brush our teeth come on." He opened the door for you and followed you to the bathroom.
You peed while he brushed his. Every time you sat down anywhere was a blessing to him, no danger of you tripping and falling so he took advantage of those moments. You started asking him your typical drunk question. "Fez do you wanna marry me?" Fezco answered with an imminent "sure" and kept brushing his teeth. "Why are you so sure about it?" He rinsed his mouth with water. "Cause you are the love of my life." That was a pretty solid argument you thought. "But what if I was a worm, would you still want to marry me?" Fezco answered all your stupid questions with a lovely tone in his voice and extremely patience until you were done peeing and it was your time to get your teeth cleaned. " 'K pretty girl, open for me." You listened to his orders. He was soft with the toothbrush, hitting every one of your teeth and grabbing you by your chin so he could move your head and make it easier. You mumbled an 'i love you fez' with the toothbrush inside your mouth that was practically incomprehensible. "I love you too baby." You kept saying the sweetest things to him, making more difficult his work inside your mouth but he didn't mind as long as you kept talking. "Spit." Your boyfriend stated when he was done. You let out all the mint toothpaste in your mouth and rinsed your mouth with the glass of water Fez handed you.
'Open for me'? 'Spit'? Ash was completely disgusted. "The fuck are you two doin' in there? I need to use the bathroom, go to your fuckin' room bro I'm being dead serious right now." Ashtray talked outside the bathroom. You laughed covering your mouth as Fezco shook his head and opened the door for his brother. "I was brushin' her teeth man." The boy huffed as you two got out of the bathroom and went to Fezco's room again. "You good? You need anythin' else?" You shook your body falling into Fezco's bed and snuggling between his bedsheets. He laid by your side covering you both with the blankets as you hid your face in his chest and Fezco rested his chin on the top of your head. "If you need anythin' wake me up. You got some meds on the nightstand." You hummed in response, getting everything your boyfriend said. He kissed your forehead and hugged your body against his.

Majima x Reader- Bento Box
Tumblr media
I also post to AO3 under the same username!
Morning was always her favourite time of the day. Y/N stirred in her shared bed, nestling into the arms that were already wrapped around her. Majima seemed to already be awake; his grip tightened and drew her closer. He peppered her cheeks and forehead in light kisses, giggling at her sleepy groaning. She swatted away his face, chuckling softly.
"No, I have morning breath," she whined, smirking as he drew her near.
They laid in bed motionless, letting dawn's light hit their blanketed bodies. Everything was soft and warm, as the rising sun began to wake greater Tokyo. Y/N could stay like this forever, pressed against his chest, breathing in Majima. He rarely took showers at night, so she always caught a bit of his cologne in their morning cuddles. Stealing glances at her beau, she saw his face, softened as he breathed softly. She admired his thin face and his high cheekbones. Y/N gently reached up, rubbing the backs of her fingers across his motionless face. She cupped his cheek. Majima's eye opened, locking with her. His grey eye was softened in moments like these, pupil lazily dilating as he stared back at her. Catlike blinks between the two of them communicated their mutual appreciation for the silent moment they were currently sharing. Y/N's eyes darted towards his thin-lipped mouth. The hand she rested on his lean chest felt his heart speed up. The anxious pattering edged her to lean in closer. A giddy feeling rose from her stomach, compelling her to shut her eyes in excitement. The harsh melody of the phone cut through their synchronized breathing.
"Son of a..." Majima muttered, immediately turning to his bedside stand. Y/N sat up, calming her still fast-beating heart. "Nishida, d'ya even know what time- No, I haven't since... Fuck. I'll be there in a sec." He sighed, hanging up. Majima sat on the edge of the bed, fingers massaging his temple. His lover crawled to him slowly, resting a hand on his shoulder. Before she could ask, he stood up, turning around to face her.
"Shit's hit the fan, I gotta go." His hand extended, resting on top of her head. Fingers wandered absent-mindedly through her locks as his eyes flickered over her partly covered figure. His brows were once again furrowed.
"I understand. You better get going." She nodded, smiling up at the older man. His lips parted slightly, almost to say something, but pressed together again. He sauntered to the washroom, closing the door behind him. Y/N glanced at the clock on Majima's side table.
5:56... yikes. No wonder Goro was pissed off. He doesn't usually get up for another half hour.
She stretched as she got up, wrapping a robe around herself as she left the bedroom. Something Y/N had slowly grown accustomed to in her partnership to Majima was bento boxes. The idea of making someone a packed lunch seemed… childish to her; at least it did at first. She vaguely remembered her mother making her lunch when she was a child, probably because she couldn't be trusted to pack her own. She had learned quickly to become independent, fiercely so, and the thought of relying on someone else to make her lunch seemed strange to her. It wasn't until Goro explained that she caught the appeal.
"When you're a kid, your mom made one of them for you and your dad. It always had great shit in there- homemade and sometimes with cute decorations. Now, she only did this for you an' your ol' man, the two people she shoulda loved most. So when ya girl makes it, it means she loves ya!"  He flashed a cheeky grin as he explained. Y/N just cocked her head.
"You... don't think of your mom when you eat it?" She asked warily, causing him to burst with laughter.
"Hell no, I don't! I just think of my girl, and how lucky I am to have her." he leaned forward, pecking her cheek as he finished.
Y/N washed the rice absent-mindedly as she thought back to then. A smile graced her lips as she turned the machine on to hum, beginning to make other parts of his lunch. There was a big learning curve at first; the rice balls would always fall apart, or she’d mess up some recipe. Far too often she had left out an element from the lunch box, only to find it waiting on the counter. Despite it all, Majima took a bento each day, calling after he finished to compliment her work. His praise motivated her, even driving her to go to a local bookstore, looking for any sort of help. Slowly, her skills improved. Her routine became more integrated and quicker with each passing day.
After a short while, she looked at her handy work. The layer bento was stuffed full of edamame, onigiri with fish, steamed vegetables, and leftover meat from their dinner before. She felt proud of her handiwork, even if it wasn’t perfect. Y/N glanced at the kitchen clock on the wall.
It’s been almost 20 minutes... He should be ready soon.
She packed the food up, tucking his chopstick into the small plastic container. After ensuring everything was ready to go, she padded back to the bedroom, looking around for her lover. Muttering leaked out of their washroom, prompting her to follow the growling.
“Hey, Goro-chan… You’ll need to be heading out soon,” She popped her head into the doorway,  smiling as she saw him already finished. He turned to face her, an exasperated look already carved into his face.
“Those assholes…” He sighed as he walked towards her, He was dressed in his usual suit jacket and black leather pants. She could still smell the dampness in his hair and his body wash- one of her favourite smells. Y/N gave a soft smile to him.
They didn’t often talk about his work, they met in spite of it, and he seemed to prefer to keep it that way. When they first met, he was insistent that he was a businessman- he looked the part then too. At the time, his hair was long and neat, his suit always pressed and clean; he had kept himself well-groomed with a clean shaved face, so it wasn’t much of a stretch then. Of course, life got in the way and they fell apart, only connecting years later by chance. The drastic change in his appearance tipped her off that he was into… different work by now. But she respected his privacy. She wasn’t oblivious by any means; Y/N meticulously knew what he did and where he was most days. After a few months of being together, she began receiving text messages from Nishida, informing her on where his boss was, especially during late evenings. They chatted frequently, even going into topics not associated with work. He was her confidant and seemed to share the image of Majima that she had.
Goro finished with his hair and came to the doorway, kissing her cheek before heading out of the bathroom. He picked up a few things he left out on the bed before also leaving the bedroom. She tidied the washroom, bringing out the damp towel that smelled like him, and tiding the bedspread before also leaving.
“See ya! I’m off!” Majima called from the door.
“Call you later!” She echoed from the laundry room, “Have a good day!” She waited for the door to click shut before she continued with the laundry. Household chores weren’t her favourite, she didn’t enjoy doing laundry or cooking. But if it was left up to the two of them, both Majima and Y/N would starve and live the remainder of their days on earth as nudists. On her days off, she tried to get everything done quickly, leaving the remainder of the day to read or do whatever else she pleased. Y/N stretched as the washing machine began to purr lightly. She sighed as she looked around for something else to do.
Can’t seem to find anything else… Guess it’s time for breakfast.
Padding to the kitchen, she used the remainder of the food prepared from before to make herself food. She hummed happily as egg sizzled and soup came to a soft boil. The fragrant embrace of food brought her a joy that nothing else in the world could, and she almost hated to admit it. It was half-way through her rendition of some pop song from the radio that she noticed something in the corner of her eye, sitting on the countertop. Turning she noticed it was the bento box she made. Y/N held the container in her hands, turning it over lightly. She felt her brow furrow slightly, thinking of what to do. Should she bring it to him? Glancing at the clock she sighed,
It’s 7:00 am… If I get ready soon I can drop this off and pop around Kamurocho for a bit
It was 10:30-ish when she was dressed and ready to head out. Just because of the occasion, she decided to wear a knee-length black skirt and a simple creme blouse, pairing them with black penny loafers. She admired her reflection in the hallway mirror, her makeup light and perfect for a sunny afternoon out. Y/N made sure to gently tuck in the bento box to the fabric bag she had slung around her shoulder and headed out for the day.
Navigating the subways always seemed daunting during rush hour, so she grew thankful when she patted down the steps to find the underground mostly empty. It was a short walk through the underground mall to where she needed to go; the large hall filled with all ages shopping for what they needed. Sweet vendors sold their succulent items to the newly freed students, groups of teenage girls fawned over the newest character items displayed, some with their boyfriends. A light smile played over Y/N’s face as she too had been that way when she was younger. She understood the excitement contained within the first week off of school, how it drove young people to be out with their friends. As she left the mall area and came to her line, she noticed a pair of teens waiting. A boy and a girl stood side by side, rather stiffly. She eyed them, noticing the way they both twitched when talking to one another. How cute. She glanced down at her fabric bag.
I wonder what he was like when he was younger…
The train ride was about 20 minutes, dropping her off in the heart of Kamurocho. Despite the bright sun and lack of neon lights, people swarmed the warming streets, chatting and shopping to their heart’s content. The smell of grilled food, cigarettes, and sun-baked concrete filled her senses as Y/N darted through the crowd. Regardless of being the only foreigner for blocks, she was ignored completely by the other’s around her. It sometimes was the only redeeming quality of the busier areas. Endless roads seemed to carry on for miles, the farthest treks waving and fluttering in the edging midday heat. All of Kamurocho seemed to be gearing up for the impending festival season, which always impressed visitors from far and wide. Passing by, attendants called out in hopes of catching a customer, but their calls falling on deaf ears. The Millenium Tower loomed over the crowds in the bright sunlight, casting a sharp shadow; though it was a ways off, it still acted as a centre, or maybe more of a North star. She dawdled towards the quieter part of town where the Majima family office was located. She had vaguely remembered certain landmarks, like the worn down shrine that always seemingly had a fresh bowl of rice, or the old teahouse they had once stopped at. As she drew near the building, a tense feeling probed her stomach, though she had trouble understanding why. It was not like Goro was ever mean or told her not to come, yet she had the feeling like he had lived his life with her around his work, avoiding involving her in any regard.
Y/N bit her lip anxiously; She would be lying to say she had not considered heading back. Simply calling him to warn him that he might have to eat out for today, or feign ignorance over his forgetfulness this morning. Yet, the prospect of doing anything else plagued her mind with guilt. Glancing at her watch, she decided to head in, despite it being only 11:22, as she’d rather be giving him his lunch early than late. She cautiously walked into the building,  immediately hit with a wall of air conditioning. She shivered in the artificial cool and looked about. The standard lobby was clean but dated and smelled of old carpet. Thinking back, Y/N had never gotten a good look at the inside, the most she saw was whatever she could see through the window the one time she saw Majima exit from here. The lobby only had a hallway attached, seemingly where the elevators and washroom would be. Gloomy plants sat destitute in the corner of the room. As she finished her look-over, her eyes settled on the high desk that rested on the left side of the room. Quietly, she approached.
The man sitting at the desk was middle aged and pudgy. His clothes and hair would have betrayed him for just another typical salary man and not someone who worked with the Yakuza. Several papers were strewn around him as he wrote on the one closest to him. As she stood waiting, she noticed the permanent fowl look on his face. It was decidedly funny when she realized it was the same face one makes at an offensive smell. Holding back a snicker, she spoke up.
“Um, excuse me…” her voice almost was a whisper. The man whipped his head up, visibly confused. His eyes quickly jumped about her figure as he rose from his seat.
“No english. Out.” He rattled quickly in english, stepping from behind the desk. In her initial shock, he nearly dragged her to the door before she retracted her hand.
“I’m here for-” She began.
“No english.” The man repeated once again, turning to face her.
“Is Majima Goro here?” She exclaimed loudly. The man froze where he stood, blinking owlishly at her. The air conditioning above them tousled both their hair, the moment silent, still and cold. He cleared his throat before straightening himself.
“Yes, I believe Majima-sama is in his office.” The man responded quietly, looking her over once more. Y/N sighed in relief, relaxing her own posture.
“Thank you. Can you take me to him?”
He shook his head softly, walking back to the desk, trailing her along dumbly. At first she thought he was refusing to help her anymore, but as he sat down, he reached for the desk’s phone and irritatedly called a short sequence. He muttered something under his breath before hanging up the phone and returning back to his papers. An awkward pause played as Y/N waited for any further instruction, standing dumbly in front of the pudgy man. Without warning, the elevator creaked opened, allowing two tall lean men to step out. She took that as her cue, and walked towards them.
Confusion seemed to be the theme of the Majima family office; Both men took a second to look her over before jumping back into action, patting her down rather roughly. While they avoided the obvious areas, they did seem to paw her skirt a little belligerently. She bit her lip to bite back a rude comment, deciding that it wasn’t worth pissing off men who killed people for a living. When one tried to take her bag, she yelped causing them to jump slightly. Her face was hot as she opened the canvas bag herself, showing them the contents After an additional minute of snooping, they led inside the elevator adjacent; The three of them stood compactly to one another. Y/N felt them shift their body weight. The small box had no air conditioning, quickly undoing the chill she felt moments ago. Her heart beat began to pick up again as they climbed slowly to the third floor, seconds stretching to minutes. When they arrived, she was hit once again with the cooled air.
The hallway was plain and for some reason nerve-wracking. The lack of scenery gave her less to take in as she tried to calm her beating heart. Checking and rechecking her bag, she made sure the food was in there. Her pulse was loud in her ears and her face felt hot. Why out of all the times she had given Majima a bento, this was the time when she was nervous about it? She thought back to their phone conversations after he had finished his lunch- Was he ever lying? What if he just threw it out at work and told her a pretty white lie? It was only an odd electricity in the room that made her tear her gaze from the bottom of the bag that she had been staring at.
Looking up, she found her gaze land on Goro Majima’s face, his brows furrowing as he looked over her.
“Y/N, are you alright?” His voice had an edge of concern as he stepped out a little from the doorway. She couldn’t help but find herself gawking- he felt too unreal to answer to. She had heard before that you often have trouble recognizing people when they are removed from the typical scenario you see them in; this seemed to be a prime example to her. Before she could answer, Majima led her into his office, draping his arm over her shoulder as he led her in. As she bustled in, he closed the door quickly behind them.
Her eyes wandered over his office- It was small and rather boring, only a small katana on the wall suggested that he would actually use this space. It was surprisingly clean, save for a large desk which was scattered in various papers. The filing cabinets and tables were covered in papers as well, though neatly stacked into piles. It never had occurred to her that he would have done any other work besides physical. Her thoughts were stopped as Goro came into her view. His grey eye was dark and his brow creased, which only made him look older. His gloved hands rested on her shoulders, his gaze even with hers.
“Are you alright, Y/N-chan?” His voice quivered slightly. Her face reddened in response, forcing her to break eye contact.
“Y-yeah, I’m fine..” she replied quietly.
A stale silence hung in the air before Majima straightened himself, hands dropping from her shoulders to hold her hands instead. He held her hands up, gently rubbing the backs of her knuckles.
“You’re not acting like yourself… What’s really happening?” His baritone voice was soft and pleading, making his concern more unbearable. The woman let out a shaky breath and urged herself to look at him. Her tongue felt swollen in her mouth and her throat seemed dryer than moments before.
“You left your lunch at home, but I… just feel silly.” She managed to mewl meekly. Her eyes stayed trained on him while he processed what she said. His face betrayed his confusion before he cocked his head.
“My… lunch?” He repeated. She sighed heavily.
“I came into the kitchen and it was still on the counter, and I didn’t want you to be hungry or to have to go out and stop what you were doing to go buy lunch-” She began only to be cut off by his howling laughter. He held his stomach and keeled over, gasping for air while he cackled brightly. Now she really felt embarrassed.
After giggling to himself for a while longer, he looked up at her, still doubled over and gasping, “You’re too cute.”
She fumbled with her bag, grabbing the bento and quickly shoving it to him. Even though her gaze was averted from him, she could still sense his smile as he gently took the container from her. He walked to his desk, plopping down in the plush leather chair, setting his feet up on the desk. Y/N drew near as he popped the lid open, surveying the contents.
“Okey-dokey, let’s see what we have... Karaage, edamame- always delicious… Ooh! Even salmon onigiri!” He loudly praised the humble contents of the bento, picking through the contents lightly. His lover settled on the edge of his desk, watching his reactions intently. He ate ravenously, akin to a rabid dog more than an actual person. She was the one to giggled this time, watching his face change with each side dish.
As he finished, Majima sighed loudly, sinking further into his chair.
“Delicious as always.”
Y/N cocked her head, “You think so?” He smirked, pulling her forward towards him.I know so.”

Not to be your stereotypical second semester senior but EJ Caswell is a bit too busy to be thinking about sports metaphors...
(Alternative title- overcommitted..sounds like a Caswell)
Senior year was insanely busy. Being so overwhelmed EJ had been slowing down over the last couple weeks, but he was brushing it off just fine.
EJ has arrived late that day, which was unusual in itself, as he prides himself on being on time. Holding a half eaten packet of Oreos he shuffled into the rehearsal room slumping on the bleachers away from his chattering cast mates.
“EJ honey great you could join us, you’d think a senior couldn’t get lost in the halls!” Miss Jenn giggled at her own joke as the cast were suddenly alerted to the older boys presence. EJ absentmindedly nodded and grabbed out his script.
“Yeah...sorry..um...where are we at?”
“Page 63” “Cool... thanks”
Flipping to that part in the script, he looks up to take in the scene. Kourtney, Gina, Seb and Carlos are clearly half way through blocking a castle scene- Carlos complaining his arms are tired from ‘staying in character’, Kourtney and Seb working out where they are going to come in from and how to negotiate Sebs big box costume (although it’s proving very difficult considering the rehearsal room is about a quarter of the size of the stage) and Gina is animatedly discussing the scene choices with Miss Jenn.
Within an instant, EJ is startled from the scene as Natalie is beside him rambling something about ‘needing a fill in for cogworth’ ‘went home sick’. Sauntering up with his script, EJ’s vision goes spotted as he gets up from the bleachers. But as soon as it comes it’s gone.
He just needs to get through this rehearsal, then he can; go home, finish his debate speech, go over the plays for Friday’s waterpolo match, study for tomorrow’s maths assessment, start his exam notes, memorise his lines, work on his college applications, and maybe even get some sleep.
Joining the cast he tries to hide in the back corner. Following the basic blocking directions seemed harder than usual, his head had began to pound and fatigue hit him like a wave.
However he continued on, sluggish but present helping them to finish blocking the scene.
Walking back to his place on the bleachers EJ trips over his own feet. Catching himself before a big splat on the floor he is able to avoid the attention of his cast mates. Well mostly.
“EJ are you ok?”
EJ didn’t need to look up to know that his cousin had definitely seen his little trip.
“Yep fine”
“Ok try again but this time make it the truth”
Ashlyn was caring but firm, she definitely wasn’t going to brush it off. EJ could feel his facade fading under her concerned gaze. His voice drops low.
“I-i just don’t know... Ash, I’m trying-“
“ON TO THE NEXT SCENE Gaston and Le Fou, I need you boys to start down stage right”
EJ got up slowly, subtly steadying himself against a chair not to lose balance.
“Nevermind it’ll be fine”
EJ walks off, with that any vulnerablity on face vanishing, leaving Ashlyn’s stomach to churn in a pool of worry.
Being an after school rehearsal, most of the cast heads off after they start rehearsing the next scene as it only has Gaston and Le Fou. Leaving the rehearsal room with just Miss Jenn, Big Red, EJ, Ashlyn and Gina (the latter two who were waiting on the senior for a ride home).
EJ and Big Red slowly work through the dialogue, the scene is about as smooth as a clunky old railway track. After running it twice EJ feels like his words are melding into one. But pushing through, based off his poor entrenched habits, EJ made it through another run through of the scene.
“Um can we take a five?”
Miss Jenn looks at the senior perplexed, he’s never asked for a five. Ever.
“EJ honey is everything ok?”
“Hm, yeah just need a sec”
EJ’s exhausation catches up with him, the light seems to highlight the bags under his eyes. He drops onto the bleachers, resting his head in his hands he closes his eyes for a second.
“Miss Jenn, EJ doesn’t look so good maybe you guys should wrap this up for today-”
“Ash I’m-“
“No. You look exhausted! You barely have the energy to stand up for 10 minutes”
Ashlyn moves to grab him his drink bottle but runs into his iced coffee and Oreo packet first. She flinches. Her cousin never drinks coffee unless he purely needs the caffeine.
EJ freezes she moment he realises she’s seen it.
“When was the last time you slept?!”
All eyes are on him.
“James” His head snapped up. But he couldn’t look his cousin in the eye. Because then she’d see his eyes are glassy with unshed tears. His overwhelmed thoughts race through his mind.
“Ok I think we’ll pick this up next rehearsal, please be safe getting home and get some rest”
The four students start to pack up their bags, Ashlyn asking her boyfriend to give them all a lift. Turning to her cousin, helps him finish packing his stuff.
“You can stay in the guest room, we’re having lasagna tonight”
EJ too tired to protest, walks past his Jeep in the parking lot to get in a smaller orange bug car. He’ll have to come back for it tomorrow because there’s no way he could drive safely in his tired state.
The car ride home was eerily quiet, Ashlyn day in the passenger seat next to Big Red. He drove to Ashlyn’s house like a routine he knew by heart. Gina keep flicking worried glances at EJ but the senior didn’t even notice, having closed his eyes and resting against the window the moment he entered the car.
“Thanks for the ride Biggie”
Gina gentley nudged EJ and his eyes were open in an instant.
“Thanks Red” He mumbled as he got out of the car.
“No worries, take care guys”
As the orange car was disappearing into the distance, Ashlyn unlocked the front door. Gina and EJ follow her into the house.
“James lets go the living room”
EJ follows Ashlyn to the couch, and Gina continues past to grab a drink of water from the kitchen.
“What’s going on?”
Ashlyn puts a hand on his shoulder and gently squeezes it, grounding him and reminding him that she’s here to listen. He looks at the faded colourful rug and his words begin to vomit out softly.
“I’m just trying to get it all done ...and um.. for weeks I just never seem to have enough time, and I still have to do my study notes and finish my assessment and college apps tonight... but I’m just so tired...”
His voice cracks and the wall behind his eyes begin to break.
“I have to stay up so late, to get everything I have to all done...and then polo practice at the crack of dawn... i don’t know.. I just can’t... let anyone down..”
Ashlyn pulls EJ in tightly. His body wracked with sobs, her heart breaks as she hasn’t seen him like this in a long time. Gina initially freezes entering the room just as the senior had begun to cry but soon shifts over beside them engulfing them both in a hug.
Grabbing some tissues and a sip of water he’s able to stop his crying but his tense shoulders give away his overwhelmed mind.
“it will be ok, we’ll work this out. Everyone else will understand if everything is not done right now. You’ve got to take better care of yourself, what matters is if you are ok”
Gina nods in agreeance with Ashlyn as she comforts EJ.
“But for now you need to take a break, just have a quick nap before dinner in the guest room-“
“But I have to-“
“No James you need a rest, all this stuff can come later”
He sluggishly gets up heading for the guest room mumbling a “thanks Ash” as he retreats to his long awaited rest.
After he closes the door, Ashlyn lets out the breath she had been holding. She was convinced they would have to put up more of a fight to get him to go to sleep, but the fact that they didn’t was almost more concerning.
“He did seem a little bit off earlier in the week but yeah I had no idea that this was under the surface”
Gina says to break the silence created by her and Ashlyn’s shocked worry.
“Yeah he’s always been pretty good at bottling this stuff up, definitely a Caswell skill”
Ashlyn starts to pick up the tissues heading to the bin in the kitchen. Both the girls enter the kitchen to finish heating up the leftover lasagna they made yesterday.
While cooking the veggies the girls trade stories of earlier in the day and discuss the spotting of Miss Jenn and Mr Mazzarra at Sliced on Valentine’s. Just as they’re plating up, EJ reappears. He looks somewhat disheveled, wearing sweats and his usually spiked hair is messy like a 2012 Bieber hairstyle. His contacts are long gone being traded for his wide framed glasses.
“Feeling any better?”
Bringing the plates to the table they all sit in their usual seats.
“Yeah a little...thanks guys this looks amazing”
As if on cue his stomach grumbles with excitement and they dig into the food. The three teens continue to tell stories of their day. Although exhausted, a goofy smile makes its way onto EJ’s face while telling the girls about his classmate in English that tried justify his argument quoting spark notes, instead of the actual book.
Once they’re finished, EJ stacks and clears away the plates. Grabbing her laptop, Ashlyn creates a new copy of one of her old timetables modified with all EJ’s stuff. After cleaning the dishes, EJ plops down beside her and together they start to work out.
Half an hour and a warm hot chocolate later, they manage to finish a schedule that looks like it fit a bit of time for everything while keeping a heathy amount of rest time.
“Thank you so much Ash... I really appreciate it”
Ashlyn smiles back at her cousin.
“Just promise me you’ll take care of yourself, or at least you’ll let me know if you need help”
EJ engulfs her in a hug.
“Yeah I will, thanks”
As they both move to join Gina in the lounge room, EJ grabs his laptop to start completing his speech. Flopping down onto the couch, the tv is turned onto a Brooklyn Nine Nine halloween heist episode.
Taking EJs laptop at 9:30, the older boy fell asleep within an instant. Keeping to his promise, he followed the schedule he made with Ashlyn (most of the time at least) and finally learnt how to ask for help when he realised he couldn’t do it alone. And when he asked for help, Ashlyn and Gina were always there with an extra mug of hot chocolate.
Thanks for reading! I’m open to write prompts or suggestions
(...Also if anyone can think of any better names for this please comment because all my thoughts were low key trash😂)

Too Much Energy
Tumblr media
[Image description: Anonymous said
could u maybe do a fic with lee marcy and ler anne and ler sasha? maybe marcy is too energetic and they try to get rid of some of her energy? marclee haha]
MARCLEE IS BEST LEE I LOVE HER SM,, Anon I had a lot of fun with this request and it was definitely a good break from the plot-heavy story! Hope you enjoy!
——
Summary: Marcy Wu has way too much energy for Anne and Sasha to handle, so the two friends work together to help tire out the wound-up teen.
Fandom: Amphibia
Pairing: None
Features: None
Word Count: 1,034
Warnings: This is a tickle fic! If that’s not your thing, just keep scrolling.
—————————————————————
“Ooh, you guys have to hear about this!”
Marcy was practically bouncing on the spot, reading yet another paragraph from her extensive notebook of Amphibia. Anne and Sasha were leaning tiredly against the couch, neither of them sure how their friend still had so much energy.
Normally, they were fine with hearing their friend ramble, but today had been a bit more taxing after having to deal with some unwelcome giant bugs that were threatening Wartwood. Marcy had been a big help with her notes on them, however the one info dump led to another, and soon the girl was reading her entire notebook to her two friends.
“Mar-Mar, you need to take a break.” Anne told her, fatigue clear in her voice. “You’ve been talking nonstop for like, three hours now.” Marcy fell silent at the statement, blinking in surprise as a small blush of embarrassment crept onto her face.
“Oh, my bad.” She said sheepishly. “I guess I got carried away, but Amphibia is just chock full of interesting things! Like, did you know that-” without even realizing, Marcy started into another ramble, making Sasha sigh and rub the bridge of her nose in frustration.
“Psst-” Sasha heard a whisper next to her, looking over and seeing Anne with a small yet mischievous smile on her face. She silently pointed a thumb to Marcy, wiggling her fingers after to mime out her plan. Sasha was quick to catch on, gaining a smirk as both of them looked back up at Marcy. The raven-haired girl hadn’t even noticed her friends yet, still rambling about some kind of carnivorous plant.
“-it’s a lot like a venus fly trap, actually.” She explained. “The difference is they also have a paralyzing venom that can- eep!” Marcy cut off mid-sentence as she felt hands grasp her sides, hauling her off the ground and carrying her back to the couch.
“Sasha, put me dohown!” She squeaked, the hands on her sides causing a small bout of giggles to escape her lips. Much to her surprise, Sasha did put her down…by unceremoniously tossing her on the couch. A small ‘oof!’ came from Marcy as she tried to upright herself, only for her two friends to suddenly be sitting on either side of her.
“Sorry Marbles,” Anne said, leaning against her, “but you’ve got too much energy, and we need to do something about it.” Marcy wasn’t sure what she meant until she felt hands on her sides, earning a high-pitched squeak followed by bright, bubbly giggles.
“Hehehey, wait!” She managed, the giggles soon overwhelming her words. Anne grinned at the sound, skittering her fingers over her friend’s exposed sides to test her reactions.
“Still ticklish as ever, I see.” Sasha mused, feeling Marcy starting to lean against her in an attempt to scoot away from Anne’s tickling. Of course, this didn’t work as Sasha held steady, leaving the raven-haired girl stuck between her two friends. Her cheeks turned pink as a goofy smile spread across her face, which Anne couldn’t help but coo at.
“Aww, you’re so cute, Mar-Mar!” She said sweetly. Marcy’s whole face turned red at Anne’s words, starting to thrash more as she felt the tickling creep up to her rib cage. All three had ditched their armour earlier, as it was a warmer day, leaving all of Marcy’s worst spots exposed.
“Ihihihi’m nohohot!” She squealed, tossing her head back and almost hitting Sasha by accident. The blonde had been able to dodge it at the last second, but the action flipped a switch in her mind and she rounded on Marcy in an instant.
“Alright, you asked for it!” She cried, wrapping her arms around Marcy’s chest and pulling her in, effectively trapping her in an iron hold. Fingers dug into the hollows of her underarms, earning a high-pitched shriek that was immediately followed by frantic laughter. Her legs kicked uselessly as she tried to pull herself free, only for Anne to sit herself on Marcy’s thighs to hold her down further. Four hands tickled at her sides and underarms, kneading and spidering and squeezing away at any spot they could reach.
“GuhuhUYS-!” The cry was hardly noticeable through all the laughter, and Marcy quickly realized there was nothing she could do but submit to her ticklish fate. Her ears had turned red at that point, eyes screwed shut and tears pricking in the corners of them. Despite how hard she was laughing, though, she still seemed to have plenty of energy.
“Man, I’m surprised she’s holding out this long.” Sasha commented to Anne, having to raise her voice somewhat to be heard. Anne nodded in agreement, and deciding to test Marcy further, moved her hands down and drummed her fingers against her hips. This earned a squeal that was so high in pitch that it actually left Anne’s ears ringing, causing her to pull away.
“Whoa, you good, Mar-Mar?” She asked. Sasha had even stopped, loosening her grip and allowing Marcy to catch her breath. The girl was a blushing mess, her hair frizzy from her struggling and a goofy smile still plastered on her face.
“Yeheheah…” She panted, brushing her hair back with her fingers, “just…g-gimme a sec.” Anne and Sasha exchanged a glance, both of them smiling softly as Marcy worked to compose herself.
“What do you think, Sash?” Anne asked, turning her gaze back to Marcy. “Has she had enough?”
“Don’t know.” Sasha replied, sitting back against the arm of the couch. “Girl’s got enough energy to power a city.” Anne chuckled at the comment, however Marcy seemed to perk up.
“Actually, Newtopia has been working on a renewable energYYY-!” A squeal left her throat as Sasha immediately started tickling her again, spidering her fingers over the teen’s ribs.
“If you’ve got energy to ramble, you’ve got energy to be tickled.” Sasha told her, though all that Marcy replied with was high-pitched giggles. Anne chuckled and ended up joining in again, doubling the electric sensations that were spreading through Marcy’s torso.
Anne and Sasha were right; she did have lots of energy. But having it be spent through her two best friends tickling her silly was more than fine by her.

omg pls do 38 with grayson i'll cry
Lynds ily 🥺 also sorry this is LONG for a concept I got carried away as usual
38. You help a lost child find their parent together.
(btw I wrote this with like mid-teen y/n and grayson in mind)
You were so excited that you and your friends had finally found the time to hangout together. You all had been so busy with finals and work, but with summer finally coming around the gang had made plans to visit the amusement park you used to go to as kids. You’d been hyping up the trip for so long, so when you all actually arrived it was such an exciting rush you hadn’t felt in a long time. Since you’d made it there at around noon, the plan was to eat at the park, but when you realized that everybody wanted something different, you guys decided to split up and get your food, then meet back at the tables. And so you sauntered off towards the nearest DQ, knowing full well that you intended on getting all the desert you could.
You were about to step into the line when you heard the faint sound of crying coming from the arcade right across from where you were. You turned to see a little boy, maybe around 5 or 6 years old, standing at the entrance, a terrified look on his face as he bawled his eyes out.
“Oh no,” You muttered doing a 180 and almost slamming face first into the couple in line behind you. You sheepishly mumbled out an apology, hastily trying to push your way out of the line that had somehow almost doubled in the twenty seconds you had been standing there for. You were met with many grumpy faces as you shimmied out of the line, some throwing curses at you, and you would usually be annoyed about it if it wasn’t for the poor little kid you were trying to get to.
You ran up to the boy and crouched down so you were eye level with him. “Hey, hey bud, are you okay? Are you lost?”
He nodded through his sobs and sniffles, looking around hastily for someone.
“Who did you come with?”
“M-m-my m-m-mom,”
“Do you have any idea which way she went?”
“N-no! My m-mom told me i-if I ever get l-l-lost I sh-should stay where I a-a-am and she’ll f-f-find me,” He was starting to cry harder.
“Hey, don’t worry I’m gonna help you find her, okay?” You brought your arm up to rub his shoulder reassuringly. “What’s your name, bud?”
“C-Caleb.”
“Do you know your mom’s phone number, Caleb?”
“Y-yea!”
“Wow, aren’t you smart! Do you wanna try calling your mom from my phone?”
“Y-y-yes.”
“Great.” You got up and reached into your jeans’ pockets, only for your fingers to slide down to the bottom of the cool denim. You frantically patted down all your pockets, searching for your phone when you remembered- you’d given it to your friend during the car ride to change the music and she hadn’t given it back to you.
“Shi-” You stopped yourself from cursing when you remembered who was there with you.
“W-What’s wrong?”
“Nothing Caleb, just give me a second, alright? I’m going to find a phone for you.”
“O-okay.”
You looked up to see a boy standing at one of the arcade games. It looked like he’d just finished up, since he was reaching for the tickets that had come out of the machine.
Normally, you weren’t someone to walk up to cute boys (especially not ones THIS attractive) on a whim, but that wasn’t the first thing on your mind right now.
“Caleb, just stay right here for one minute okay?”
“W-w-where are you going?” You could see the tears beginning to well up in his eyes again.
“No no don’t worry! I’m just going to go get a phone for you really quickly, okay?”
He sniffled, but nodded. You walked hastily over the boy who was about to leave the machine.
“Hi, sorry to bother you.” You tapped him on the shoulder, and when he turned around you were taken aback a bit. You must’ve stood there for a bit longer than normal, because he raised an eyebrow at you.
“Yes..?”
You shook your head. “Do you have a phone I could borrow? This little boy Caleb is lost and he wants to call his mom but I don’t have mine on me..” You pointed at the kid at the entrance.
“Oh! Yea, of course! Here,” He shoved his hand into his shorts pocket, unlocked it, and handed it to you with a smile.
“Thank you so much, you’re a lifesaver.” Before he could respond you hurried back over to little Caleb and gave him the phone.
“Do you know how to dial?”
“Y-yea.”
“Okay.”
He dialed his mom’s number and held the phone up to his ear, it looking comically large in his small hands. After a few rings you heard a woman’s frantic voice on the call.
“Hello?”
“Mommy!” Caleb cried again.
“Caleb? Is that you?”
Caleb wailed over the phone for a bit, crying for his mom to come find him but wasn’t really making any coherent sense. After a while he calmed down, and actually answered the questions his mom was asking.
“You know this kid?” You were startled by the voice from behind you, and it took you a second to realize it was the one who’d lent you his phone that was walking up to you.
“Oh, no. I just saw him crying.”
“Ah, gotcha.”
Caleb’s sudden burst of sobs caught you both off guard.
“Honey, listen to mommy. Is anyone there with you?” you could both hear his mother’s voice over the phone.
“Y-y-yea, the nice girl!”
“Can you give it to her please?”
He looked up at you, eyes glistening, and handed the phone to you.
“Hi Ma’am, I’m Y/N.”
“Hi sweetheart, thank you so much for helping him. Where are you right now? He said he’s at the games but I don’t know what he’s talking about.”
“Oh, we’re right outside the arcade. It’s pretty close to the entrance.”
“Oh yes I remember passing by it! Thank you, sweetheart, I’ll be there right away!” She hung up the phone.
You looked down at little Caleb and crouched down so you were next to him again. “Don’t worry, your mommy said she’ll be here soon, okay?”
He sniffled. “O-okay.”
You smiled, rubbing his shoulder again.
“Oh,” You got up to your feet and handed the boy his phone. “Here. Thanks.”
“No problem. I’m Grayson, by the way.”
“Y/N.”
“W-when will she get here?” Caleb asked.
“I’m not sure, Caleb. But definitely soon.” You could tell he was going to start crying again, but before you could do anything Grayson spoke.
“Hey, bud, how about I give you something?”
He wiped his nose with his arm. “W-what?”
“It’s a surprise.” He smiled at him, then winked at you before walking back into the arcade, causing blood to rush to your face.
“W-what’s he doing?”
“I dunno, bud. Must be something cool though.” You grinned at the boy, and you finally got a smile to crack from him.
A few minutes later Grayson walked back, and he was holding something behind his back.
“Can you hold this for a sec?” He handed you his phone again, and you took it, curious yourself as to what he was doing.
“Caleb, guess what I got you.”
“W-what?”
He brought his arm out from behind his back to reveal a cute stuffed green dinosaur.
Caleb’s eyes widened and his smile grew. “Wow! How did you know I liked dinosaurs?” He took it from him, smiling giddly.
“Because you’re wearing a super cool T-rex shirt!” He knelt next to him, pointing at it. “I’m jealous, I wish I had a shirt that cool.”
Caleb laughed. “Really?”
“Yea! I’m sure you’re the coolest kid at school, aren’t you?”
“Haha, yea!”
You smiled, watching Grayson have his fun conversation with the little boy. You’d never seen someone your age act so natural and kind around kids before. It was kinda cute.
You finally looked down at Grayson’s phone, realizing that you still had it in your hand. You were about to hand it back to him when you realized it was open on an app already. You brought it up to your face, having to squint a bit in the sunlight, and saw that it was opened to contacts. And some of it was already filled out.
In the First Name box he’d already had your name written, and in the Last name box he’d written: If it’s cool with you :) ↓
The arrow was pointing below to the field to enter your phone number.
You smiled. You got a head rush when you realized what was happening. You looked back towards him to see that his attention had left Caleb (who was now happily playing with his dinosaur plushie) and was now focused on you with a small smile.
“This is very cocky of you, yknow.”
He laughed. “Sorry. I was too scared to just ask.”
You bit your tongue, grinning at him as you went to enter your number into his phone. You could see him pumping his fists into the air out of the corner of your eye, and you giggled.
“Hey, Caleb. Gimme a high-five.” Caleb did so, earning a big grin from Grayson. “My man!”
Caleb laughed, and you did with him.
Not too long afterwards, Caleb’s mom came running up to her son and hugging him tighter than you’d seen anyone hug a person before. “Oh my sweet angel.”
She thanked you and Grayson a million times over, and you both assured her that it was no trouble at all. She asked if she could treat you to anything, but you both let her know that you were just happy that she’d found her son. After they left, Grayson turned to you.
“How about I treat you to lunch instead?”
You crossed your arms at him. “You really think you can get away with lines like that?”
“I’m just asking!” He chuckled.
You did too. “I’d love to, but I’m actually having lunch with some of my friends-” Your eyes widened. “Shit! My friends!” You grabbed your wallet from the floor. “Sorry, I gotta go!” You began to run, but looked back at him. “Call me!”
“I will!” He laughed, waving to you as you raced off to meet your friends.

FICTOBER 2020 - day three
Prompt #3: “You did this?”
Fandom: Teen Wolf
Characters: Scott McCall, Lydia Martin
Words: 1559
Author’s Note: A reaction fic to the combination of Scott’s placement in AP Bio in 5x02 and his attempt to drop it in 5x06, because I have a lot of feels about that. Scott POV.
>> hope is in the sometimes
It’s not that strange for Lydia to make an appearance at the clinic, but usually when she does, she has either Prada or the latest supernatural disaster in toe. Since Scott doesn’t see Prada and he really doesn’t need any more disasters right now, he thinks he’s allowed the rush of unease that fills him at sight of her sitting in the waiting room.
“Lydia?”
She doesn’t immediately look up from her phone, instead holding up a finger to let him know it’ll be a second. Scott takes her lack of urgency as a positive sign—at least until she puts her phone away, stands, and pulls out a drop form to AP Bio instead.
The one with his name on it.
He stares at the paper and tenses his jaw, muscles in his neck jumping with the strain.
“Mrs. Finch didn’t get a chance to talk to you after class today,” Lydia says, casually swinging the gate open and walking into the employees-only area. “Said you dropped this off but didn’t sign.”
Lydia’s voice sounds like she’s testing him, but for what, he doesn’t know. A wave of shame crests over him and thrashes wildly in his chest.
He clears his throat and wipes his hands on his pants.
“Yeah. I um, I got a little distracted when I was handing it in. I can, um—” (don’t say um) “—I can sign it now if you want. Just give me a sec.”
Lydia doesn’t say anything in response, but he’s keenly aware of her eyes on him as he shuffles papers around on the desk, hunting for a pen—clients are always taking them by accident, and Scott doesn’t have the heart to point it out. He usually just buys the cheapest pack he can find every few months to cover it.
He could probably just tell the Doc about it, but it seems too minor to worry someone else.
Lydia clears her throat. "Scott—”
“Oh, here we go!”
Scott snatches a pen out from under a box of dog treats, interrupting whatever Lydia was about to say.
“Sorry about that,” he says, uncapping the pen and holding his hand out for the paper. “Didn’t mean to keep you hanging. I can just—”
“Scott,” she repeats, more insistent this time. “I didn’t come all the way over here just so you could sign some stupid drop form.”
Scott stares at her. She tosses her hair back.
“…Oh,” he says, because he’s not quite sure how he’s supposed to take that. He waits a beat, but Lydia still doesn’t offer him the paper, or an explanation. “So what did you—”
“Why are you dropping?”
His chest seizes, and the fact he recognizes it as panic instead of an asthma attack is not nearly as reassuring as he’d hoped.
He hadn’t really expected anyone to ask. Even then, he definitely hadn’t assumed it’d be Lydia.
He turns away, starting to sort the already sorted PPE on the counter. “It’s like I told Mrs. Finch. Scheduling conflict.”
Scott doesn’t see Lydia frown, as he’s busy looking anywhere but at her, but he feels it anyway. “I thought Finch said you can’t get into UC Davis without it.”
He slides a fast food container into the trash. “I’ll just take it next semester.”
“It isn’t offered next semester.” Lydia makes her point flatly, like she already suspected he knew it. Which, he did. “And even if there were, magically, a special section, it’d be too late to go onto your transcript to apply for the fall.”
Scott closes his eyes, for once wishing away red hair instead of red irises.
(He thinks of red pens and this isn’t yous and all of the C’s and D’s littering his sophomore transcript; all the people that died, red blood spilling everywhere, because he couldn’t figure out how to squeeze enough hours in a day.)
“The material’s just a lot more than I thought it would be,” he tries. “Maybe I’m just not cut out—”
“Bullshit,” Lydia snaps, the sudden ire startling Scott. “You have more highlights in the first chapter of that textbook alone than Malia has in her entire planner. And you got one of the highest grades in the class on Finch’s surprise exam.”
“Yeah, and then I missed the next night’s reading entirely.”
Scott hadn’t really meant to say that out loud, and this time, it’s Lydia that looks startled.
“That wasn’t your fault, Scott,” she says. “I didn’t read it either. There were extenuating circumstances—”
“There’s always extenuating circumstances!”
In the backroom, several dogs start barking irritably, distressed by both the tone and volume of Scott’s voice. For her part, Lydia just arches her eyebrows at his outburst.
Scott backtracks.
“Look, I just… I can’t afford to fail any more classes,” he says. “I’m not... like you. Dropping AP Bio might mean I can’t get into UC Davis. But if I don’t drop it and it tanks my GPA—and let’s face it, it will—I can’t get into any college. It’s just… It’s not worth the risk.”
The disappointment on Lydia’s face throbs painfully in his chest. It reminds him of exactly why he hasn’t told his mom about his decision yet.
He tries for a wobbly smile. “I really appreciate what you’re trying to do, but you don’t worry have to about me. It’s—it’s okay.”
Lydia shakes her head. “It’s really not.”
“Okay,” Scott concedes, because he’s never been good at lying, “then maybe it just is.”
Lydia bites her lip. Scott’s both hopeful and saddened by the idea that she might be letting it go.
He holds up the pen. “Can I…?”
The second Scott reaches for the paper Lydia twists away from him, not far enough that it could physically stop him if he tried.
“Wait,” she says, scrambling to grab her phone while still keeping the paper away. “You can have it in a moment, okay, I just—I just want you to see something first.”
Scott gives her an exasperated sigh. “Lydia…”
She fixes him with a glare and then shoves her phone in front of his face, effectively bringing a halt to both his argument and his movement. “Look, Scott.”
It’s rarely worth trying to argue with Lydia when her mind’s made up, and Scott’s saving that good fortune for when he manages to end the conversation overall.
He humors her.
It’s a simple photo: a young white girl with blonde hair smiles up at the camera, giggling as a black and white wirehaired mix wriggles playfully in her arms. He looks at Lydia curiously, unsure as to why she’d been so insistent he look at it, before it clicks: they’d been at the clinic a few weeks ago, during which he’d administered the dog’s monthly intramuscular injection. He feels a flush of pride at the memory of the girl referring to him as Dr. McCall—only for it to sour when he remembers it’ll never come true.
He swallows down that emotion, too.
“Where did you get this?”
“Social media,” Lydia says, tapping the screen so the like and share options appear.
“…You follow Stephanie?” He reaches for the phone, brow furrowed in confusion. “Is she even old enough to be on—”
“It’s her mom’s account, Scott, geez.” Lydia snatches the phone away and clicks out of the photo view, displaying the comments below. “And no I don’t follow her, but I do track the Beacon Hills Clinic tag. Maybe you should, too.”
Scott feels even more lost by the apparent non sequitur, until Lydia slips the phone into his hand and gestures for him to scroll.
Most of the comments are fairly general reviews—what the cleanliness is like, speed of service, price comparisons, and so on—but there’s also a very particular human factor. Alongside the praise for Dr. Deaton, which doesn’t surprise Scott in the slightest, there are overwhelmingly positive comments about how the vet’s assistant had helped them, their pet, or their child through the visit.
Scott scrolls through the comments in silence, surprised by how many people and pets he remembers. And even more surprised by how many remember him.
Eventually, he closes out of the thread, and the picture of the dog and the girl comes back into focus.
They look… happy. Really, really happy.
“You did this, Scott,” Lydia says, gently taking her phone back. “You. Not Finch, or me, or anyone else. I know what I said when you showed up in class, but I was wrong—you couldn’t have been in a better place. Biology, being a veterinarian —it’s all about helping people. That’s what you do.”
Scott can’t help but push back. “I don’t always get to help people the way I want to.”
“No, not always,” Lydia admits, and the flash of guilt that crosses her face is such a perfect copy of his own that he knows she means it. “But I don’t think that means we should give up on the sometimes.”
Scott considers her words for a long moment, then nods, slowly.
“I don’t get off for another half hour,” he says, finally putting the pen down, “but if you wanted… maybe we could read that chapter together.”
She hands him the drop form, finally. “I think I’d like that.”
Scott takes it from her.
He drops it in the trash.

Unfinished WIP
This has been sitting in a folder for about a year now, so I've just accepted that I'm never gonna finish it. So here. I know it's crap, why do you think I dropped it?
The noon Summer sun shone through the window as Yu sat on his sofa. He was staring down at his phone. The screen displayed the words 'No New Messages'. A disappointed frown appeared on his face as he slipped his phone back into his pocket. He pushed himself off the sofa and glanced at his calendar as he left his bedroom.
July 10th.
When he reached the bottom of the stairs, Yu saw his uncle hurriedly collecting some folders from the table and Nanako hanging up the laundry in the garden.
"Hey, Yu, sorry but I've gotta head to work." Dojima informed the silver haired teen after spotting him.
"Yeah, I had a feeling." He replied with a small smile.
"Have you had a message from your parents?" The detective asked.
"No." Was Yu's simple reply.
Dojima's eyes widened in shock. Really? On today of all days?
"I just came down to get a drink before starting my homework." The teenager told his uncle as he plucked a bottle of orange juice from the fridge and quietly went back upstairs. Dojima hummed thoughtfully as his nephew disappeared from sight.
"Everything's on the line, daddy. They should be dry by the time you get home." Nanako announced as she came back inside, placing the now empty laundry basket down next to the table.
"Thanks, Sweetie… Hey, Nanako, c'mere a sec." Dojima beckoned his daughter over. Nanako shuffled over with a curious look on her face. The detective glanced over at the stairs to make sure Yu wasn't around before whispering to Nanako.
"So, it's Yu's birthday today-"
"Really?!"
"Shh! But it… looks like Yu thinks that everyone's forgotten… So, what do you say we give him a surprise?" The man suggested with a soft smile. An excited grin spread across Nanako's innocent face at the idea.
"That sounds great! What do we do?!" She eagerly whispered. Dojima frowned thoughtfully as he tried to come up with ideas. In the end, he decided it would be best if they kept it simple.
"Okay, look, I've gotta head to work, so why don't you ask his friends for help and set up a little surprise party, you know decorations, cake, small presents, stuff like that? Yeah?" He suggested, picking up his bag.
"Yep! Can do!" Nanako giggled.
"That's my girl! I'll see you later." Dojima chuckled, lovingly ruffling his daughter's hair before hurriedly leaping out the front door, not wanting to be late for work.
"Bye, daddy!" Nanako called out as he got into his car. She kept the door open as she pondered her plan of action. Which one of Yu's friends would be the biggest help? That was an idea hit her. She enthusiastically slipped on her shoes and grabbed a bag.
"Big bro! I need to buy some vegetables for dinner! Could you keep an eye on the washing machine please? There's some more clothes in there." She called out from the doorway.
"Sure thing. Be careful out there, okay?" Yu called back from his bedroom.
"I will! See you later!" Nanako cheered, happy that Yu believed her. With an excited giggle, she shut the front door behind her and began her jog over to Junes.
Goosebumps appeared on Nanako's arms as she wandered through the chilled section of Junes, searching for one person in particular. She scanned her eyes through the food as well, pondering potential snacks for the party.
"Dammit, Teddie! I just put those there!" A familiar voice huffed in irritation. Nanako giggled happily. That was the voice she was searching for! She skipped around the corner and found them arguing with their teammate.
"Yosuke!" She cheered as she saw him. The brown eyed boy glanced over in her direction, distracted from his annoyance at Teddie.
"Nanako-chan?"
"Nana-chan! Hey! Didja come to play?" Teddie giggled. Yosuke frowned at him again.
"You're supposed to be working!" He reprimanded him.
"Actually, I need your help with something." Nanako informed them. That intrigued the duo.
"Oh?" Yosuke replied, raising his eyebrows in anticipation. Nanako giggled and gestured for the two to come closer. The boys complied and leaned down, letting Nanako whisper in their ears.
"It's big bro's birthday and I need help throwing him a party." She explained.
"Really?! Sensei's birth- Uughh!" Teddie began to shout before receiving an elbow in the gut from Yosuke.
"Seriously?! He didn't say anything to us about it…" Yosuke whispered back with a surprised expression.
"He didn't say anything to us either! Daddy just remembered when he saw today's date." Nanako informed him.
"Did Sensei not know it's his birthday?" Teddie suggested.
"I sincerely doubt that…" Yosuke huffed as he rolled his eyes before turning his attention back to Nanako.
"So, what do you need help with?" He asked, spreading a soft smile across his face.
"Yeah, yeah! I wanna help!" Teddie excitedly chimed in.
"Um… I dunno… Daddy said to just keep it simple… Just some decorations and cake and snacks and stuff…" Nanako admitted with a confused tilt of her head. Yosuke nodded his head thoughtfully.
"Sounds like we're gonna need a lil more help, don't you think, Nanako-chan?" He remarked, pulling his phone out and grinning playfully. Nanako beamed brightly.
"Mm-hm!" She agreed in delight.
"We're gonna get everyone to help?" Teddie asked, mimicking Nanako's smile.
"Yup, it's only fair and besides, it'll make everything a lot easier… hopefully… Either way, I gotta go ask my dad if I can get off work early for this. You two go wait in the food court; I'll meet you there." Yosuke informed them as he quickly jogged off to the manager's office.
"Okay~!" Nanako and Teddie called back in unison.
"C'mon, Nana-chan, let's go! I'll buy us some ice cream!" Teddie cheered, gently pulling Nanako's hand.
"Thanks, Teddie!"
"I can't believe Narukami didn't tell us it was his birthday…" Huffed Chie as she leaned back in her seat.
"I know… I don't think he's ever mentioned it before…" Yukiko added with a thoughtful expression.
"He could've at least told me!" Pouted Rise.
"Keep dreamin', Rise." Kanji huffed back.
"Shut up, Moronji…"
"Whether or not he told us, it doesn't change the fact that it's his birthday and we should celebrate it." Naoto butted in before an argument could start.
"I don't really know a whole lot about birthdays… All I know is you eat lots and lots of delicious food and you get presents and you get to do whatever you want!" Teddie admitted, starting off sad but growing more excited as he continued talking.
"That's a good point, actually… Do shadows celebrate birthdays? ...Do shadows even have birthdays?" Kanji muttered with an intrigued frown. Rise nudged him and made a gesture towards Nanako. Kanji's eyes widened when he realised what he'd said.
"Shadows?" Nanako repeated, tilting her head in confusion.
"U-Uh… It ain't important, don't worry about it, Nanako-chan! Just me bein' weird! Y'know same ol' Kanji! L-Let's just get back on track and plan Senpai's party, yeah?" The bleached haired boy hurriedly stuttered, waving his hands around wildly.
"Real smooth…" Chie sarcastically mumbled as Yukiko struggled to contain her giggles.
"Yosuke-senpai? You've been really quiet, are you alright?" Naoto asked, turning the group's attention to the brown eyed boy.
"Yeah… You've just been scribbling in that notebook…" Rise added, leaning forward to try and get a glimpse at what Yosuke was doing.
"I was making notes of what we'd need to do and what we'd need for 'em. All we've really gotta do is decide who's doing what. Although… The hard part is gonna be doing everything without Yu finding out…" Yosuke muttered as he displayed his notes.
"True… Narukami is way too observant…" Chie sighed with a troubled frown as she scanned her down Yosuke's notes.
"Then, why don't we add the task of distracting him?" Suggested Naoto.
"Yeah, good idea." Yosuke agreed, quickly adding it to the list.
"Buying snacks, making decorations, baking a cake, finding a gift, distracting Senpai… I'd happily bake a ca-" Rise spoke up.
"No." Yosuke hurriedly shut her down.
"Bu-"
"No." Kanji repeated.
"Chie and I would he-" Yukiko interjected.
"No." Naoto objected.
"We're trying to make Sensei happy, not ill!" Teddie exclaimed bluntly. The three girls just sat there and pouted.
"Now that I think about it, Yu's the best cook of our group… Hmmmm… It's the best option, I guess… Naoto, would you mind baking the cake with Nanako?" Yosuke suggested. Naoto's eyes widened in surprise.
"I-I'm not the best cook there is… but if there's a recipe book, I should be able to manage…" The detective apprehensively agreed, pulling their hat down to hide their eyes.
"It'll be okay! We've got mum's old cookbooks! And big bro's been teaching how to bake so we'll be fine!" Nanako reassured him with her usual adorable optimism. Naoto's cheeks flushed a deep pink as he smiled back at Nanako.
"Yeah… You're right… I look forward to working with you, Nanako-san." He chuckled in amusement. Yosuke scratched that task off the list.
"Hmmmm… I think decorations is the one that's gonna take the longest, so should we put the most people on that one?" He suggested as he looked down the list again.
"Yeah… That sounds like it'll save some time." Chie agreed.
"Well, this goes without saying, but Kanji, you're up. You're in charge of decorations." Yosuke huffed.
"Sure thing, Senpai. I'm gonna make sure that it's the cutest looking party ever! Senpai won't know what hit him!" Kanji enthusiastically agreed.
"Although… Who's gonna help out?" Naoto asked.
"Um… If it helps, I sometimes make origami to decorate some rooms at the inn." Yukiko spoke up.
"Hey, yeah, I forgot about that! Yukiko's origami is amazing!" Chie cheered, sitting upright and grinning proudly. Yukiko just blushed at the compliment.
"Ooh! I saw this tutorial thing online about how to make origami cats and I wanna give it a try! Please? I know Senpai loves cats!" Rise excitedly pleaded.
"Well, alright then! Guess I've got my group! We're gonna need a shit ton of crafting paper…" Kanji stated. Rise nudged him again.
"Language!" She hissed.
"Oh! Sorry…"
Yosuke just rolled his eyes as he scratched decorations off the list.
"Teddie…" He muttered.
"Hm? What is it, Yosuke? You've got a scary look in your eyes…" Teddie nervously whimpered.
"I am going to put you in charge of buying snacks… DON'T go overboard… Understand?" Yosuke very seriously informed the bear as he handed him a wad of cash. Teddie squealed ecstatically.
"Whoo! Thanks, Yosuke! I won't let you down!" He cheered as he took the money. That's when an idea clicked in Yosuke's head.
"Hey, guys… What do you think of when it's Summer? I mean, when it comes to food?" He asked.
"Well, I mean… It's gotta be a barbeque, right?"
"Barbeques"
"A barbeque and watermelon?"
"Aside from festival foods, barbeque."
That's when the group realised what Yosuke was suggesting.
"Hell yeah, Senpai! That sounds great!"
"Ooh! My mouth's already watering!"
"Well, wait, hang on! Don't forget that it ain't our house! We'd need to ask Dojima-san's permission first!" Yosuke quickly reminded them.
"Um, I know daddy's number. So, you could call him if you wanna ask him?" Nanako suggested innocently.
