makes me absolutely insane that fans lack media literacy about usopp’s character during water 7 when i feel like it’s spelled out so clearly why he got upset about merry and decided to leave the crew. it’s always been about usopp’s self esteem and feeling useless. he clearly projected on merry thinking that if merry stopped being useful because she was broken, then usopp (in his mind) was up next on the chopping block, not because he liked a girl more than his own crew
I officially annonce I retire from the Crocodile x DoFlamingo crew because
Spoilers Dressrosa
Wow the hell. DoFlamingo?? I HATE him so much. He's a bastard but not in a "kinda charismatic and sympathetic" way like other one piece villains can be, he's Enel level.
I feel uncomfortable making silly villain ship joke with this shit head now.
Holly SHIT. this man went from "bad guy kinda funny and charismatic" to "the worst asshole I saw in the anime so far" in like 2 episodes.
Also Dressrosa is so underrated? The saga may be my favorite for now.
And I didn't even reached the Corazon part yet, I have some ideas about what happened (I know he's Law kind of adoptive father, I Know he's Doffy brother, I know he died and I know it's DoFlamingos fault)
NEW THOUGHT what if Zoro and Sanji are - by their own cultural standards, courting the other and that’s why the crew (who is mostly from the east blue) catch on to Zoro’s flirting but not to Sanji’s (North Blue flirting is more structured and discreet maybe?) and that’s why neither of them realise the other is flirting
“It could be that the loss of her children drove the Queen deeper into her darker desires...but, I don’t believe she was fighting against them that hard before that particular tragedy. No monster does.” (Patreon)
Bonus:
Hmm, wonder what he could cover those holes with :3c
